[00:00:00] The one who scored to applause. Valentina Ivanovna was seen off on her last journey with
[00:00:04] all honors, accompanied by a guard of honor.
[00:00:08] Now Valentina Goevaya has found eternal peace at the
[00:00:11] Eastern Cemetery of Minsk.
[00:00:26] They said that in Belarus, they don't dance like that, but she showed how
[00:00:30] they actually know how to dance on their native land. Her
[00:00:33] departure became the final chord of an entire era, leaving
[00:00:37] an indelible mark on the heart of national culture.
[00:00:40] Alexandra Trishkevich, Nikolai Lashkevich, First Information.
[00:00:54] Belarusian grandmaster Denis Lazovik for the first time in his
[00:00:57] career entered the top 100 strongest chess players
[00:01:00] in the world. In the FIDE rating, he is in the eighty-fifth place,
[00:01:04] also in the age group under 20, the athlete was in the top ten
[00:01:08] best. What chess combinations lead to success
[00:01:11] in Yulia Alferova's story.
[00:01:14] The news about a young guy from Belarus who left behind American
[00:01:18] Hikaru Nakamura with a FIDE rating almost 150 places
[00:01:22] higher, already flew around the entire planet at the end of summer. At the
[00:01:26] World Cup in eSports chess in Paris, the Belarusian grandmaster
[00:01:30] Lazovik only conceded to the first place in the rating, Carlsen
[00:01:33] Magnus, taking home prize money of 190 thousand dollars and
[00:01:37] the dream of being even closer to the titled list. Just
[00:01:41] a month later, Denis's recognition was boosted by an updated
[00:01:43] rating. The Belarusian is in the top 100 strongest players
[00:01:47] in the world, in the top 10 best among chess players under 20.
[00:01:51] Many have entered the top 100, but then quickly dropped out. And
[00:01:54] Belarusians also entered. Belarusians, yes, but right now
[00:01:57] it's just me. I had achievements before
[00:02:00] that I am more proud of than this entry. Well, I played in
[00:02:04] the eSports tournament this year in Paris, where I took second
[00:02:08] place, winning against many strong chess players. So this is, of course,
[00:02:12] an achievement, but cooler
[00:02:14] and more difficult than my entry into the top
[00:02:17] 100, and before that I also played in London this year,
[00:02:20] I beat a very strong chess player, Hikaru
[00:02:24] Nakamura. Many people have entered the top 100, the guy says modestly,
[00:02:28] there really were Belarusians. You can count them by name, but
[00:02:32] today Denis Lazovik is the only representative of our
[00:02:35] country in the prestigious top. Just a month ago, he was
[00:02:39] outside the top hundred. In September, he was in 104th place. Thus,
[00:02:43] in a month he gained almost 20 positions. The grandmaster
[00:02:46] currently has 2,636
[00:02:49] points. We have very strong coaches specifically for
[00:02:53] this level, let's say, up to international
[00:02:56] master. All my childhood I went to the RTC, I have the first one.
[00:04:00] works, the girls
[00:04:02] are developing, playing in international tournaments,
[00:04:05] this is very important for further
[00:04:09] progress. Success in sports is a concept that is made up of
[00:04:13] many components. Chess players are the only athletes who
[00:04:16] compete outside of weight and age categories; there are
[00:04:19] only goals and the path to them. When I set myself some goals, these are, as a
[00:04:23] rule, the goals for the next tournament. For example, I will have a tournament
[00:04:27] soon, I will go to Kazakhstan in two weeks, and
[00:04:30] there I want to raise my rating, take first place, and so on.
[00:04:34] That's where it's like that,
[00:04:38] to think big, to plan years ahead,
[00:04:41] because my level is still not enough to
[00:04:44] fight for the world champion title in the near future, there is still
[00:04:48] a lot of work to be done. The Council of the International Chess
[00:04:51] Federation completely lifted the restrictions previously imposed on
[00:04:55] the Belarusian Chess Federation, this returns to our
[00:04:58] players the opportunity to perform even more on
[00:05:02] the most prestigious venues, and what is undoubtedly
[00:05:05] motivating under the national flag. Yulia Alferova, Roman
[00:05:08] Filiutich, First Information.
[00:07:55] program schedule will begin this Friday. We will summarize
[00:07:59] the day an hour earlier, Panorama at 8:00 PM on
[00:08:03] Belarus 1 immediately after at
[00:08:05] 8:45 PM.
[00:08:09] Metropolitan Dynamo in St. Petersburg completed
[00:08:12] another away series within the regular KHL
[00:08:15] championship. The Zubry fought against the Shanghai
[00:08:18] Dragons, the final score on the scoreboard was 3:2 in favor of
[00:08:22] the Belarusian club. The motivation of the White-Blues for this battle
[00:08:25] was more than enough. Previously, this year the teams met
[00:08:29] twice, both times the representatives of the Celestial Empire
[00:08:33] were stronger. And now the long-awaited rematch. Currently,
[00:08:36] Dynamo is in sixth place in the Western Conference standings
[00:08:40] with 17 points.
[00:08:44] Right now, don't miss the new series of projects on
[00:08:47] Monday, it will reach Lukashenko, and after that
[00:08:50] the program "Clear Politics," stay with us, it will be very interesting.
[00:09:19] "Bread is the staff of life," the people say, but what to do when
[00:09:22] there is no bread? Then
[00:09:25] love comes. No, this is not a new interpretation of an old proverb, but
[00:09:29] a new TikTok from the village of Suravny, Shumilino district.
[00:09:33] It has thousands of comments with the question: Is such a thing
[00:09:37] possible in Belarus? A resident of the village "Love" on
[00:09:40] Wednesday, August 26.
[00:10:40] indeed were left without everything necessary. We will figure it out in
[00:10:43] the new series of our
[00:10:45] project.
