[00:35:13] 2026. Addressing the 7th CII International
[00:35:17] Energy Conference held in New Delhi, the Union
[00:35:21] Minister said that this scheme
[00:35:24] energy to every household but has also strengthened
[00:35:28] the domestic solar manufacturing ecosystem in the country. The
[00:35:32] Central Government's PM Suryaghar Free Electricity Scheme has
[00:35:35] now reached 50 lakh households. The pace of
[00:35:39] rooftop solar installation has also tripled to more
[00:35:42] than 16,000 per day. India is also moving
[00:35:46] towards achieving the target of 500 GW non-fossil
[00:35:50] fuel capacity by 2030.
[00:35:53] Industries Minister SD Kumar Swami said that under
[00:35:57] Aatmanirbhar Bharat, we are building a strong domestic
[00:36:04] has taken several steps for this, such as
[00:36:07] the PLI scheme of 18,100 crores, Green
[00:36:10] Energy Corridor, PLI for solar PV modules and
[00:36:14] BCD exemption for battery storage. Meanwhile, Madhya
[00:36:17] Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan said that Madhya
[00:36:21] Pradesh is rapidly moving
[00:36:24] forward in renewable energy. Delhi is getting electricity

[00:36:54] Suryaghar, around 90 to 1000,
[00:36:58] 10,500 rupees cheaper, that is lesser
[00:37:01] cost.
[00:37:05] Today India stands as the world's fourth largest
[00:37:08] economy with the GDP of nearly
[00:37:12] 4.18 trillion US dollars and is
[00:37:16] firmly on course to become the third largest
[00:37:19] economy in the coming years. This
[00:37:22] remarkable growth is being powered by
[00:37:26] infrastructure expansion.

[00:40:53] secretary level of the ministry, in which
[00:40:57] the government had shared its concerns on various

[00:41:33] Krishnan said that the government wants to
[00:41:37] understand why some of Meta's systems are
[00:41:41] not working as expected and what steps the
[00:41:44] company is taking to prevent such incidents in
[00:41:48] the future. He said that adequate
[00:41:51] safeguards should be in place for verified
[00:41:55] accounts of public figures. According to
[00:41:58] government sources, Meta officials admitted that some
[00:42:02] content was promoted for money and expressed
[00:42:06] regret over it. The government clarified
[00:42:10] to the company that it cannot escape responsibility
[00:42:13] by merely claiming to be an intermediary.

[00:42:21] and promotion, the safe harbor protection available
[00:42:25] under IT law will not be considered
[00:42:28] automatically applicable. This whole controversy started
[00:42:31] when a Facebook post by Prime
[00:42:35] Minister Narendra Modi was briefly

[00:42:40] or taken down due to a technical
[00:42:44] glitch. Meta reinstated the post, calling
[00:42:47] it a technical error, and also
[00:42:50] apologized, but the government did not
[00:42:54] consider this explanation sufficient. After this,

[00:43:01] summoned and now
[00:43:04] round of meetings today, the government
[00:43:08] will discuss accountability and corrective measures
