[00:17:20] signing and starting our first international
[00:17:24] campus in Abu Dhabi was signed, due
[00:17:27] to your leadership and initiative, IIT
[00:17:31] Delhi set foot outside our country, in the
[00:17:34] UAE, you will be happy to note, that
[00:17:38] the first batch of our M.Tech from the Abu Dhabi campus
[00:17:42] is graduating this year with 100%
[00:17:45] placements.
[00:17:51] today's convocation is also special for us
[00:17:54] since this is led by our first woman dean
[00:17:58] academics.
[00:18:04] this year we will be giving more than
[00:18:08] 3000 degrees, which is a record for us, including
[00:18:11] 587 PhD
[00:18:13] degrees,
[00:18:16] this includes 245
[00:18:20] women
[00:18:21] PHDs,
[00:18:25] the youngest student, the youngest graduating student is

[00:19:11] level. We eagerly await your convocation

[00:19:29] here. At our institute we
[00:19:32] believe that we must link more meaningfully with Indian
[00:19:36] institutions. Towards this we have launched a new
[00:19:40] scheme called align to connect with
[00:19:42] 18 NITs where student exchanges, faculty
[00:19:46] exchanges and research collaborations will be
[00:19:49] enabled and supported by IIT Delhi. This
[00:19:53] partnership will result in IIT Delhi working closely
[00:19:56] with the National Institutes of Technology and help
[00:19:59] strengthen the country's research ecosystem.
[00:20:03] This year we are starting two new international initiatives with
[00:20:06] France. the joint masters and PhD program
[00:20:10] with Sorbon University in the area of biological
[00:20:14] sciences and health. We are also launching a novel post
[00:20:17] graduate diploma in solar systems and management for
[00:20:21] training the trainers in developing countries.
[00:20:24] This is funded by Unido and
[00:20:28] is a part of the International Solar Alliance. An
[00:20:31] alliance with Moj ji, you started with
[00:20:34] France. In. collaboration with
[00:20:38] Ins, which is the French Government Solar Institute.
[00:20:42] Recently, many of our startups made an impact in Bharat Innovates
[00:20:46] in nice in France. Bharat Innovates was the brainchild of
[00:20:50] of our chairperson with the blessing of our prime

[00:21:24] devices was set up at IIT Delhi with funding from the
[00:21:27] quantum mission, center of centers of excellence in
[00:21:31] electricity regulation with CRC and Gridco, National Mission
[00:21:34] of Clean Ganga, IIT Delhi, Dutch Center for water,
[00:21:38] center of excellence in handlum technology to name few,
[00:21:42] industry sponsored COEs with Hyundai, Yamaha,
[00:21:45] Cisco. As some examples of our research, I'll give
[00:21:49] you two. examples: we have launched
[00:21:52] Adiwani in this is supported by the Ministry of
[00:21:55] tribal Affairs, it's an AI based tool for tribal
[00:21:59] languages, Bhilli, Santhani,
[00:22:02] Mundari and Gondi. This tool
[00:22:05] extends the benefit of AI to tribal
[00:22:07] communities and enables the digitalization and preservation
[00:22:11] of tribal languages. This reflects the institutes
[00:22:15] connect with communities and our impact for
[00:22:18] sovereign and inclusive AI recently we
[00:22:22] signed an agreement with the Reserve Bank of
[00:22:25] India to jointly develop indigenous security
[00:22:28] features in currency notes, this will focus on innovation in materials
[00:22:32] and anti counterfitting technologies. We had
[00:22:36] many global leaders
[00:22:40] visiting us, students had the opportunity to interact
[00:22:43] with Sam Oltman, Sunita Williams and
[00:22:47] playing chess with grandmaster Prague.
[00:22:50] We have been trying to inspire the youth through our
[00:22:53] initiatives like Manasvi to attract women students to
[00:22:57] STEM and Yuva Sangam where we host the dude from
[00:23:00] Chattisgarh. Today it is our
[00:23:04] opportunity to be inspired by the prime minister himself.
