[00:33:30] a scheme for strengthening the medical device industry. In
[00:33:34] that scheme, clinical validation, in that scheme,
[00:33:37] your marginal investment, and in that scheme, if you
[00:33:40] want to bring new products, the Government of India is giving
[00:33:44] grants and finance. So this is a very good
[00:33:49] from the government that we support this sector.
[00:33:52] In
[00:33:55] Lucknow, a new initiative has been taken to promote environmental education
[00:33:59] and biodiversity conservation. An Eco
[00:34:03] Education Hub has been developed at the Parasara Bio
[00:34:06] Resource Centre located at CSIR-NBRI's Banthra Campus.
[00:34:11] today for its inauguration, in which Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh
[00:34:14] participated as the chief guest. This
[00:34:17] center has an Indian Heritage Garden, a sacred path,
[00:34:21] an Enclave of Endangered Plants, and an Enclave
[00:34:26] states. Its objective is to connect students and youth with
[00:34:30] nature and India's rich botanical heritage through
[00:34:34] direct experience. Dr. Jitendra Singh, while inspecting
[00:34:37] the hub, said that the entire region will benefit
[00:34:41] from this initiative. In the coming times, more and more
[00:34:45] schools will be connected with it so that students can understand nature

[00:35:41] government has clarified the situation regarding fees on UPI.
[00:35:45] No transaction charge will be levied from users,
[00:35:48] and all person-to-person (P2P) payments
[00:35:51] will remain completely free.
[00:35:55] Most merchant transactions will also continue
[00:35:58] to be free of charge. However, in the future,
[00:36:02] MDR (Merchant Discount Rate) may be applied to select
[00:36:05] merchant transactions if needed. For this, a fixed
[00:36:09] transaction limit will be set, and the MDR rate will
[00:36:13] be kept very nominal, which will be much less than
[00:36:16] the MDR applied to debit or credit cards. This means
[00:36:20] that a blanket MDR will not be applied to UPI.
[00:36:24] The government's objective is to maintain UPI as a strong
[00:36:28] medium for financial inclusion and ensure its long-term
[00:36:32] stability. Along with this, emphasis is also being placed
[00:36:36] on technological upgradation of UPI and enhancing its
[00:36:38] ability to deal with emerging risks. Under this, an
[00:36:42] amendment to Section 10A of the Payment and Settlement
[00:36:46] Systems Act 2007 has been proposed in the Taxation
[00:36:49] and Other Laws Amendment Bill 2026. If it becomes
[00:36:53] necessary to implement MDR after the bill is passed by
[00:36:56] Parliament, the UPI and Service Steering Committee headed
[00:37:00] by NPCI will decide it.
[00:37:02] The government's
[00:37:07] clear message is that UPI will remain free for users,
[00:37:11] and most merchant transactions will continue to be free
[00:37:15] of charge. On the occasion of
[00:37:18] Independence Day on August 15, selected and distinguished
[00:37:22] people from across the country are invited to the 'At
[00:37:25] Home' function held at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

[00:39:01] campaign? Respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi
[00:39:05] Ji and the leadership of the Bharatiya
[00:39:08] Janata Party have decided that Sant Shrimani
[00:39:12] Ravidas, who talked about social harmony,
[00:39:15] human welfare
[00:39:19] and Begumpura, meaning a place where there
[00:39:22] is no fear, no jiziya, a
[00:39:25] Begumpura where there is justice,
[00:39:30] social respect, such a Sant Guru
[00:39:34] Ravidas who said, "I wish for a
[00:39:37] kingdom where everyone gets food, and everyone
[00:39:41] is happy." He said, "All pots
[00:39:44] are made of the same clay," meaning
[00:39:47] that all are children of God equally.
[00:39:51] Such a Sant Arviddas Ji, whose disciples
[00:39:55] were Meerabai and Jhali Rani, such a Sant
[00:39:59] Ravidas Ji's 650th birth anniversary will
[00:40:02] be celebrated throughout the country not for one
[00:40:06] day, two days, five days, but continuously
[00:40:09] for seven months, a decision taken by the
[00:40:13] national leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Fortunately,
[00:40:16] I have been made the national convenor of
[00:40:20] this committee. The 29th, which was Guru Purnima,
[00:40:23] was a sacred day, and Sant Ravidas
[00:40:28] Ji was born in Kashi. Therefore,
[00:40:31] urns collected from his land were
[00:40:34] prepared. And on the 29th, those urns
[00:40:37] were dispatched to all the states of the
[00:40:41] country by Sant Niranjan Das Ji
[00:40:44] Maharaj, who is the head of that peeth,
[00:40:48] and 244 saints who were sitting on the
[00:40:52] stage. Under their patronage, the Chief
[00:40:55] Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath,
[00:40:58] and our Union Minister Meghwal Ji dispatched
[00:41:02] those urns. This was the beginning of our
[00:41:05] program. And on the 29th, another program,
[00:41:09] the Sant Sampark Abhiyan, was also
[00:41:12] started, which aims to contact all types of
[00:41:16] saints in the country, whether they are Ravidas
[00:41:20] saints, followers of Kabir Sahab, those who believe
[00:41:23] in Ambedkar Ji, or our devotees, or gurus,
[00:41:26] or saints of Lord Ram's temple, or Krishna's
[00:41:29] saints, or Devi's saints. That means our campaign
[00:41:33] to contact all saints has started, which will
[00:41:36] continue continuously till August 31. On July 29,
[00:41:40] the Deep Abhiyan was also started simultaneously
[00:41:43] across the country. The Dipotsav program
[00:41:47] was held at more than 51,000 places.
[00:41:50] In Ravidas's temples, if there is no
[00:41:53] temple of Sant Ravidas Ji, then by placing
[00:41:56] his picture in any temple, by placing his
[00:42:00] idol, by lighting a lamp in front of
[00:42:04] him, people created faith and reverence.
[00:42:08] A big message of social harmony is going
[00:42:11] across the country from this program.
[00:42:15] This campaign you are running, how long
[00:42:18] will it last? You said it will run
[00:42:22] for nine months till February. So what is
[00:42:26] the target of reaching how many villages? Is there
[00:42:29] any particular state being focused on? If you
[00:42:33] look at the connection of Sant Ravidas, it
[00:42:37] was all over the country, but if you look,
[00:42:41] it was more from Punjab and Uttar
[00:42:44] Pradesh. Is there more focus on those states?
[00:42:48] I think, let me say one
[00:42:51] thing again, the 685th birth anniversary of Sant
[00:42:55] Ravidas Ji has come. No one knew then
[00:42:59] that there would be elections, or in any
[00:43:02] state, and in India, elections are held every
[00:43:06] two or four months in some state or
[00:43:10] the other. Because of this, we will
[00:43:13] forget our great men, we can never do
[00:43:17] that, and especially our ideology, the Bharatiya
[00:43:20] Janata Party, can never do that. Whether there
[00:43:23] are elections or not, for us, saints, sages,
[00:43:27] our cultural traditions are first, and then everything
[00:43:30] else. And therefore, this is a nationwide
[00:43:34] campaign. This is not a campaign for
[00:43:37] election-bound states. This is a nationwide campaign.
[00:44:10] are putting in full effort for the program,
[00:44:13] this is our second phase, sending urns from
[00:44:17] the state to the districts, and then further
[00:44:21] down to every village, every Ravidas temple,
[00:44:25] every settlement, and having worship performed,
[00:44:30] ideology for national unity and social harmony can
[00:44:34] reach somewhere. So one phase is this,
[00:44:37] then there was Dipotsav, the third program is
[00:44:41] our Sant Sampark, our fourth program is
[00:44:45] from October 5 to November 5,
[00:44:48] this is the proposed date, for one
[00:44:51] month continuously, the Samrasta Sankalp
[00:44:54] Yatra will start from Jalandhar, so
[00:44:57] it will be in Punjab, in Jammu
[00:45:01] and Kashmir, in Uttarakhand, in Himachal, in Chandigarh,
[00:45:05] in Haryana, in Uttar Pradesh, in Madhya Pradesh,
[00:45:08] in Rajasthan, so by doing these yatras
[00:45:12] and this yatra will conclude at the birthplace
[00:45:16] of Sant Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj.
[00:45:19] It will run for one month, and many
[00:45:22] sub-yatras will also join the main
[00:45:25] yatra. Our last program will be the
[00:45:29] student contact campaign, hostel contact campaign,
[00:45:32] which means what did Ravidas Ji
[00:45:35] say to our young boys and girls,
[00:45:38] colleges, universities, and in what circumstances
[00:45:41] did Ravidas Ji say it, when there was inequality,
[00:45:45] when the Mughal Sultanate was attacking,
[00:45:49] when Sikandar Lodi wanted to convert
[00:45:53] him to Islam. Even then, he did
[00:45:57] not convert in front of Sikandar Lodi.
[00:46:00] He said, "Tell me the truth, don't
[00:46:04] give up religion, give up life." He
[00:46:06] did not convert. He conceived Begampura,
[00:46:10] "All are made of the same clay," "If
[00:46:14] the mind is pure, then the Ganges is
[00:46:17] in the bucket." There are many such messages
[00:46:21] that can change the lives of the young
[00:46:24] generation, can change their direction, and
[00:46:28] they can play an important role in nation-building
[00:46:31] and society-building. Therefore, we will
[00:46:34] also run the hostel contact campaign among
[00:46:37] them. That means behind this campaign, there
[00:46:40] is an objective to remind the youth once
[00:46:44] again of what Sant Ravidas and all great
[00:46:47] saints have said, and to connect them
[00:46:51] with Indian culture.
[00:46:53] Naturally, when we remember a great man,
[00:46:56] when we remember a saint, when we
[00:47:00] celebrate their birth anniversary or martyrdom
[00:47:04] day, then naturally, people study the aspects
[00:47:07] related to their life. Or what was
[00:47:11] great in their life when the speakers
[00:47:14] go? What have they done for the
[00:47:18] welfare of the country and society without
[00:47:22] thinking about their family? When their messages,
[00:47:25] their words, go down, there is some change

[00:47:35] life, his words, his struggle, his

[00:48:18] sages and saints have given their support
