[00:00:01] diesel, and here are the EU petrol prices, where [00:00:04] the top three are Denmark, Netherlands, and [00:00:07] Germany. Finland is in fourth place in this [00:00:11] table, and our Estonia is again quite average. [00:00:15] petrol 95 costs [00:00:18] 1.911. There are eight countries in [00:00:21] the petrol table with prices over two euros. The cheapest [00:00:24] petrol 95 is again in Malta, i.e. [00:00:26] 1.34 cents. We also asked [00:00:30] people in Pärnu, Narva, and Kuressaare how rising fuel prices [00:00:34] since the end of summer have affected their driving habits. [00:00:37] mõjunud? [00:00:41] If you have to drive, you have to drive, but of course you don't drive [00:00:44] too much, you know. And you have to fill up, there's nothing to do, [00:00:48] you can't be in the countryside without a car. We are very [00:00:51] surprised about this price [00:00:54] and I think if I had a car, I would definitely [00:00:58] change my driving habits. I would use more [00:01:01] public transport, significantly not really, if I admit, [00:01:05] but if it continues to rise like this, then I think it will have to be considered at [00:01:08] some point, that for now it's still bearable, reluctantly, because we're in the countryside, we have to [00:01:12] drive, there's no choice, it's high, well, even though I just [00:01:16] came from Europe, I came through Germany and and France [00:01:19] and through Poland, so well, it's a mystery, right, that in one place [00:01:23] a liter is 50 cents just cheaper than in another country, [00:01:27] in one country you can play with taxes like that, so it's [00:01:30] cheaper, in another country you can't, well, since I'm a private entrepreneur, [00:01:34] then the only thing we are considering, we haven't increased the prices [00:01:38] of certain things, products we sell, for seven, eight years, but this year [00:01:41] we have to do it, it's just that it's [00:01:44] pressing, just out of necessity that I [00:01:48] have to drive to work by car, and so [00:01:51] in principle, well, I have small trips, from the cottage [00:01:54] to work at the moment, I cannot give up [00:01:57] trips, because I live in one area. [00:02:30] A little bit still, yes, that let's say [00:02:33] those empty trips or those kind of [00:02:37] unnecessary, meaningless trips have decreased? Not [00:02:39] very much, [00:02:42] because there isn't much driving [00:02:44] simply. Well, not [00:02:47] yet, not yet, where will the ceiling come for [00:02:49] you? Who knows, [00:02:53] they say that at some point it might go up to [00:02:57] three euros. Do you do everything you need to [00:03:01] go to now? Well, maybe you think [00:03:04] a little before just driving back and forth [00:03:08] for nothing? [00:03:08] vä? [00:03:13] Running restaurants and cafes is always been a high-risk [00:03:17] business in Estonia, but lately increasingly nervous [00:03:20] sounds are coming from the kitchen. This week, Kohvik Boheem, which has been [00:03:24] operating in Tallinn's Kalamaja for 18 years, announced [00:03:26] its closure. What is the success of long-lived eateries? [00:03:35] Those who are fed up with stable life can enter [00:03:38] the restaurant world, where intense competition, high [00:03:42] VAT and rising raw material prices await. [00:03:45] Success is not guaranteed by good food alone, but also by a precisely chosen location, [00:03:49] a patient investor and an insane amount of luck. [00:03:52] Pull, a restaurant located in the center of Tallinn, [00:03:56] has hit the nail on the head. The first three years are critical [00:04:00] for a restaurant's People often don't think [00:04:03] that the first year doesn't bring profit, at best you break [00:04:07] even with costs. [00:04:10] There are over 3000 restaurants and cafes in Estonia, [00:04:14] a large number for a small country, but on average a restaurant [00:04:17] only lives for five years, and this year a big [00:04:21] wave of closures has swept we already know that actually [00:04:25] a new wave of closures is coming in autumn, so these closures that we have seen today [00:04:28] are only the first ones and I think it's just going to get exciting in the coming months. [00:04:32] Why do some fall and others remain? According to experts, [00:04:36] every restaurant must go through a ride on a roller coaster [00:04:39] and there is a clear advantage for those who can put a little aside [00:04:43] during good times to survive difficult times. On one side, [00:04:46] one could say there are who are very small, who have a very [00:04:50] limited number of seats, which naturally creates a marketing effect, [00:04:54] where there is FOMO, i.e. people can't get a seat, there is a very [00:04:58] strong feeling that oh, it's... always full, I would like to go too [00:05:02] and as a result people are often willing to wait [00:05:05] more. Most often those who do volume business [00:05:08] and run an entire chain of cafes also do well. [00:05:12] And then there is a beautiful golden mean in the middle of [00:05:16] the two, where some succeed, some don't, but if you hit that sweet spot, [00:05:19] then it's like a sweet, sweet place to be, [00:05:23] meaning where you hit that optimal size, [00:05:26] good location, you have a superb product and people [00:05:30] will like it, but even a precise business plan and [00:05:34] a top-notch kitchen may not guarantee success if the surrounding [00:05:37] urban space develops away and the area becomes saturated. For me, [00:05:41] a very good example is Rotermann, here there are 26-7 [00:05:45] eateries, Talsinki is coming right next to it, which will bring even more [00:05:48] eateries, a bit too many, opening a restaurant [00:05:52] is a very big investment and nobody, I don't really [00:05:55] believe that when opening a restaurant they set themselves the goal of being there for three [00:05:59] years, that's simply a failed [00:06:02] idea. [00:06:05] In Estonia, there aren't too many places that last [00:06:08] more than ten years in one place. One of them is a cafe. [00:06:15] What does Boheem mean to you? A second [00:06:19] home. [00:06:23] We have been here for 18 years, the first people didn't believe that [00:06:26] a cafe would start here, it was also luck, they say that [00:06:30] location, location and again location is then [00:06:33] the secret to getting a good restaurant [00:06:36] going, but I would add here [00:06:40] that the surrounding people, the regular crowd, [00:06:43] those friends who come practically every [00:06:47] week and that community. However, the time has come [00:06:50] to close the cafe. One restaurateur in this very [00:06:54] area said that so many eateries have [00:06:57] appeared that by the time a client reaches [00:07:01] him, he has already eaten three times and drunk five beers. [00:07:04] So survivors must find a balance [00:07:07] in the changing urban environment, although Estonian culture does not really favor [00:07:11] niche restaurants. The place must still charm with something [00:07:14] that cannot be found elsewhere. If you have something that works very well, [00:07:18] something that truly works and that people like, then don't [00:07:22] change it. If it's even, I don't know, one specific [00:07:25] meat pie that tastes exactly the same after ten years, then people [00:07:29] will come back for that one meat pie. [00:07:46] Hello, nature is more colorful, but [00:07:49] according to the astronomical calendar, in the last [00:07:51] days of summer, green is still the predominant [00:07:55] color. Our weather is shaped [00:07:58] by a multi-centered low-pressure system covering [00:08:00] Northern Europe. One center moves northeast from Northern [00:08:03] Finland. In its trough, a new cyclonic vortex [00:08:06] develops in the north, moving eastward and carrying the next [00:08:10] rain clouds from the sea over Estonia. In the afternoon, the center of the low-pressure [00:08:14] system concentrates over northwestern Russia. In its rear, [00:08:17] the wind in Estonia shifts from the west to [00:08:21] and the inflow of cool air begins. On Tuesday, [00:08:24] a ridge of high pressure extends from the south over [00:08:28] Scandinavia, its edge widening over the Baltic Sea. In Estonia, [00:08:31] clouds and precipitation will decrease. The upcoming [00:08:34] night in Estonia will have variable cloudiness. Showers [00:08:37] in many places. In Western Estonia, scattered thunderstorms. Fog [00:08:41] forms in places. Wind from the south, on the islands, [00:08:44] southwesterly and westerly 3-9, gusts up to 15 [00:08:47] meters per second on the coast, inland [00:08:50] after midnight, the wind is weak and variable, temperature [00:08:53] 7-11, on the coast up to 14 [00:08:56] degrees, morning is with variable cloudiness and showers [00:09:00] in many places, in Western Estonia sunny periods, fog in some [00:09:04] places, southwesterly and westerly wind, on the islands also northwesterly, [00:09:08] 3-9, gusts up to 14 meters per second on the coast, [00:09:11] temperature is... The day will be [00:09:15] with variable cloudiness, with showers in many places, there will be [00:09:18] thunderstorms, accompanied by intense rain. [00:09:21] The wind will gradually shift from the islands to the west-northwest [00:09:25] and will reach 3-9 m/s. On the coast, gusts up to 13 [00:09:28] meters per second. Under thunderstorm clouds, [00:09:31] there will be stronger gusts, temperature will be [00:09:34] 14-17 degrees. [00:09:37] On Tuesday, rain clouds will be scattered over Estonia, at night [00:09:41] there will be fog in many places. At night, 5-13, during the day [00:09:45] 14-17 degrees. On Wednesday, [00:09:48] rain clouds will move across the country from east to west. At night, [00:09:52] 6-13, during the day 11-16 [00:09:55] degrees. Thursday night offers a momentary [00:09:58] break from rain. During the day, a new precipitation area will arrive [00:10:02] from the east and spread westward. At night, 5-13, during the day [00:10:06] 11-16 degrees. Friday [00:10:09] according to the current forecast, it will remain rainy. The night [00:10:13] will therefore be warmer. In the coming 24 hours, [00:10:16] in addition to rain showers, [00:10:22] decisions on the new state budget next week. Although, yes, [00:10:26] it requires finding a balance. Anyway, the world-famous [00:10:29] slackliner Jaan Roose managed to maintain his balance for 12 [00:10:33] hours straight on Friday. On a 1.9 cm [00:10:35] wide line, he traversed almost 15 kilometers [00:10:39] without slipping and thus set a new world record. [00:10:42] Have a balanced evening. [00:10:46] This is all quite like walking on a tightrope over a burning [00:10:49] rope. [00:11:19] Broken jaws and broken teeth. It seems that [00:11:23] Estonia has been hit by a scooter epidemic. For example, during the pandemic, [00:11:26] this patient had as many as eight teeth injured, [00:11:30] some teeth were shifted, either to the side [00:11:34] or knocked in. We don't sell weapons or [00:11:37] cars to minors, it's not conceivable, let's not give such a [00:11:41] powerful light vehicle, likewise. What are the consequences [00:11:45] of reckless scooter driving? We discuss it on Tuesday evening at 8 [00:11:48] on the show [00:11:49] Impulse. [00:11:55] A girl from a modest family aims [00:11:59] higher in life. She becomes [00:12:02] riietajat. Kas karjäär toob ka [00:12:06] südamerahu või hoopis kustutamatu [00:12:09] rahutuse? [00:12:13] Tõsielul põhinev Briti draamasari. [00:12:16] Lady, kuninglik riietaja. [00:12:19] Teisipäeviti 22:05 [00:12:22] danger. Eesti televisioon. [00:12:31] Ultra-processed food has conquered supermarket shelves and [00:12:33] refrigerators. It's tasty, convenient, [00:12:37] cheap, and lasts a long time. But what does it actually [00:12:41] do to us? [00:12:48] And why can't we say [00:12:50] no to it? [00:12:55] The secrets of ultra-processed food. Monday evening [00:12:58] at 8 PM on ETV2. [00:13:21] offered sporting joy on every level. In addition, it's appropriate [00:13:24] to look already into the future and talk [00:13:26] about winter sports. Today on the show. In the European [00:13:30] Volleyball Championships, quarterfinal matches are being played. [00:13:33] The first five national teams have secured their place in the [00:13:35] quarterfinals. [00:13:40] As the first Estonian athlete to secure a ticket to the Los [00:13:43] Angeles Games, para-swimmer Maits Topkin sets hopeful [00:13:47] goals for the LA Games. [00:13:50] This weekend, history was made in women's handball, as the first matches were played [00:13:53] in the new women's Estonian [00:13:55] unified league. [00:13:59] And after a successful Olympic season, cross-country skiers [00:14:03] Keidi and Kaidi Kaasiku continue their preparation for the new season [00:14:06] and seek [00:14:07] stability. [00:14:11] Figure skater Michael Zelevko won the Isullenger series [00:14:14] competition held in Italy with five personal bests [00:14:18] to 260 points. A week ago, [00:14:21] he opened the new season with a win at the Tallinn [00:14:25] Michael Zelevko got his second consecutive first place, as he was now [00:14:28] the best at the Lombardia Cup held in Bergamo. In Italy, [00:14:32] he set personal bests in both the short and free [00:14:35] programs. In the free program, he performed three [00:14:38] quadruple jumps. Mihail won the competition, scoring [00:14:41] 260.87 points with two [00:14:44] programs. He improved his record from two years ago by almost [00:14:48] 16 points. Yesterday, Niina Petröökina [00:14:52] won the women's single skating at the same competition. [00:14:57] At the decathlon competition held in Talans, France, [00:15:01] Karel Tilga achieved tenth place with 895 [00:15:04] points. But at the World Road Running Championships [00:15:07] in Copenhagen, a new women's half marathon world [00:15:10] and men's half marathon European record was set today. [00:15:14] Swedish light athlete star Andreas Almgren made a decisive [00:15:17] final sprint just before reaching the Parken stadium and [00:15:21] beat the Kenyan runner who finished second. [00:15:37] 2055 new personal best and got 99th [00:15:41] place. Among women, Kenyan long-distance [00:15:44] runner Agnes Nketic took a clear first [00:15:47] place with a winning time of 1:05:15, [00:15:51] improving the world record for women-only [00:15:53] half marathon by one second. [00:15:57] In the European Volleyball Championships in Bulgaria and Italy, [00:16:01] quarterfinal matches are being played. Poland, Germany, [00:16:04] Romania, Finland and France have already [00:16:08] secured their places in the quarterfinals. Late last night in Sofia, [00:16:11] Germany and one of the host countries, Bulgaria, met, and the game [00:16:15] turned out to be as heated as expected. Having won the first two sets [00:16:18] 25:21, the hosts were just one set [00:16:22] away from advancing in front of over 1200 spectators. [00:16:25] Unfortunately, last year's World Championship silver medalist [00:16:29] Bulgaria could not maintain a similar momentum and lost [00:16:31] the third set 19:25. The fourth set was very [00:16:34] even, but the home team, who scored 23 points. [00:16:39] The fifth set ended 15:12 for Germany [00:16:42] and 3:2 for the whole match. Germany will face [00:16:46] Poland in the quarter-finals. In today's first round of 16 match in Sofia, [00:16:50] Ukraine met Romania and lost 0:3 dry. [00:16:53] While the first two sets went clearly to the Romanians and Ukraine [00:16:57] scored 22 and 21 points respectively, the last [00:17:01] third set was long, eventually Romania secured [00:17:04] a 30-28 set win to advance to the quarter. [00:17:09] In another earlier round of 16 match, Estonia's groupmate [00:17:13] Finland faced Greece. There, the Finns got a 3:2 [00:17:17] win after a tense game. The Greeks won the first set, [00:17:21] but in the second set they only managed to score 16 points. [00:17:24] Nevertheless, the Greeks had enough stamina. In the third set, the Finns were allowed [00:17:28] to score 22 points. The fourth set was even, [00:17:31] 25:23 the Finns won, and in the last [00:17:35] set the Nordic neighbors won 15:3. [00:17:41] The first Estonian athlete to secure a ticket to the Los [00:17:44] Angeles Games, para-swimmer Mats Topkin, is proud of the resounding slogan [00:17:47] and hopes to get into the best shape of his life within [00:17:51] two years. Mats Topkin, who won a silver medal [00:17:54] in the 50-meter backstroke at the European Para Swimming [00:17:57] Championships in Turkey a week ago, did make his first start [00:18:00] of the 2026 season there, but the time [00:18:04] of 44:95 secured him... [00:18:07] as the first Estonian to get a ticket to the Los Angeles [00:18:11] Summer Games. Which is a more important achievement for him? An EC medal [00:18:15] or a Paralympic ticket? Both are [00:18:18] quite important, first of all, the medal was important [00:18:21] to me because I have been able to win a medal in the last [00:18:25] three European Championships. And well, it's [00:18:28] a matter of ego, that I can't let my level drop, [00:18:32] so I'm glad the medal came, I'm even happier that it [00:18:36] came so well. But especially considering how [00:18:40] empty my season has been this year, [00:18:43] that I can be satisfied and well, [00:18:46] an Olympic ticket in my pocket as the first Estonian, that's [00:18:48] a fantastic slogan. In the last two [00:18:51] Paralympics, Topkin's best places in the 50-meter backstroke were [00:18:55] seventh in Paris and sixth in Tokyo. He looks [00:18:58] to Los Angeles with greater hopes. The Olympic Games are always special. [00:19:02] He is, in that respect, I'm looking forward to it very much, [00:19:06] that as you know. The Tokyo and Paris Games rather [00:19:09] went wrong, so I hope now that third [00:19:13] times the charm, maybe the third time will turn out [00:19:16] a bit better. With the ticket in hand, he can fully focus on being [00:19:20] in the best shape of his life in two years. I can maybe to some [00:19:23] extent start experimenting, [00:19:27] I have met the norm, I don't have to worry [00:19:31] about that anymore, so maybe we [00:19:34] can try some new training techniques. Well, [00:19:38] as you know, Raif Tribunsov, for example, trains with very short [00:19:41] distances. Something to consider, whether to maybe try something [00:19:45] more like that or not, time will [00:19:48] tell. [00:19:51] The Estonian tennis team will again have to play a Davis [00:19:54] Cup Group II play-off match in winter, as [00:19:57] they lost to Uruguay in all four matches. [00:20:00] In the Davis Cup final qualification, Germany beat [00:20:03] Croatia. A big help for this was the recent US [00:20:07] Open winner Alexander Zverev. Since the Germans had taken a 2:1 [00:20:11] lead against Croatia in the morning in the doubles match, Zverev knew [00:20:15] before the match against Dino Prizmić that his victory would be enough [00:20:18] to reach the top eight and in that case, the fifth match would not be played. [00:20:21] Zverev defeated Prizmić 6:2-6:4. [00:20:25] The Davis Cup final will be held in Bologna [00:20:27] at the end of November. [00:20:33] The final round of the Motocross World Championship series took place in Darwin, Australia. [00:20:52] Forest, who is only in his second season in the series, brought the title [00:20:56] to the Triumph Factory Racing team. [00:20:59] In the MXGP class, the Dutchman Jeffrey Herlings won [00:21:02] the world championship title for the sixth time and also won both [00:21:05] races today against Frenchman [00:21:07] Romain Febvre. [00:21:11] In the MotoGP class of the World Motorcycle Road Racing Championship, [00:21:15] the Spaniard Pedro Costa won this weekend at the Spielberg [00:21:18] circuit in Austria, which was his first career [00:21:21] victory. The 22-year-old Costa [00:21:24] beat two Aprilia factory team riders. His compatriot [00:21:28] Jorge Martín, who started from the best starting position, [00:21:32] and the Italian Marco Bezzecchi. After the weekend, [00:21:35] Martín leads the World Championship series with 306 points. [00:21:39] Marc Márquez is a dozen points [00:21:41] behind him. [00:21:46] Karl Robin Rillo was crowned Estonian champion in the Quad Open class [00:21:50] in Maardu. Rillo was crowned Estonian [00:21:53] champion in the Quad Open class for the third time at the final [00:21:57] round of the Arctic Sport MX Masters Motocross Estonian Championships, [00:22:01] although he had to start from the back in both races. [00:22:04] In the sidecar class, Ülar Karing won the stage and, together with [00:22:08] Ten Nitso, secured the Estonian Cup victory. In the MX [00:22:11] women's class, Stella Toomela won her first Estonian [00:22:14] Championship [00:22:15] stage victory. [00:22:19] Exciting results were achieved today in foreign [00:22:22] football leagues. In the English Premier League, Manchester City [00:22:26] defeated Sunderland 5:3 in goals and rose to the top of the table. [00:22:30] In the Madrid derby played in Spain, Real lost [00:22:33] 1:2 to Atlético. Barcelona continues as the sole leader [00:22:36] of the table there. In Germany, Dortmund [00:22:39] Borussia secured first place at the top of the table after four [00:22:43] rounds late last night, winning The only goal of the game was scored [00:22:47] by Maximilian Beier in the 70th minute. Dortmund leads Bayern [00:22:50] by two points at the top of the table. In the First League, Karal [00:22:53] Metsaklubi Bochum lost 1:2 [00:22:55] to Hannover. [00:22:59] Three matches were played in the Football Premium League today. [00:23:03] FCI Levia drew 1:1 with Narva Trans. [00:23:05] FC Flora defeated Pärnu Vaprus 3:2. [00:23:08] Nõmme Kalju defeated Tartu Tammeka 3:1 away. [00:23:12] Tartu Tammeka, aiming to catch up with the top four, suffered [00:23:15] its second defeat of the week against top-of-the-table clubs. [00:23:19] While they lost heavily to Levadia during the week, today [00:23:22] they had to accept a 1-3 defeat against Nõmme Kalju. Things went [00:23:26] wrong for Tammeka from the very start of the game. In the sixth minute, [00:23:30] Kalju took the lead through a goal by Portuguese legionnaire Diago Baptista, [00:23:33] but the real cold shower came in the middle of the first half. [00:23:37] In just the 20th minute, Tammeka captain Oliver [00:23:40] Kangaslahti received a red card for fouling Enrique Essono, [00:23:44] leaving the Tartu team with fewer players. Before the end of the [00:23:47] first half, Matias Männilaan scored to make it 2:0. [00:24:20] to strike back when Musassambe was accurate, and the match ended [00:24:24] with a 1-3 loss for them. The whole match was okay, like for me it's [00:24:27] difficult because I don't have much situation in the game [00:24:31] and like [00:24:34] 100% of my concentration, it's very difficult and [00:24:38] at the end this situation comes and so it's not [00:24:41] lucky, like I touched it, but it went in, then yes, [00:24:45] there's a little work to be done, [00:24:47] so Kalju continues in fourth place, [00:24:51] Tammeka six points [00:24:52] behind in fifth place in the table. [00:24:55] In the Women's Estonian Football Championship, defending [00:24:58] champions Flora defeated Harju Laagri 5:0 on the [00:25:01] opponent's field. In the highest scoring [00:25:04] match of the 19th round, Viimsi women's team defeated [00:25:08] Elva 9:1. Viimsi is in fourth place [00:25:11] with 30 points, just two points more than Saku Sporting. At the top of the table [00:25:15] are Flora and Paide, who have accumulated an equal 39 [00:25:18] points. Kor was 5-0 better than Harju Laagri, while Paide [00:25:22] city women's team beat Saku Sporting 4:2. [00:25:25] There are still six rounds left in the close [00:25:28] season. [00:25:31] This weekend, the first matches were played in the new [00:25:35] Estonian-Latvian Women's Handball League. HC Tabasalu [00:25:38] had to admit defeat to both opponents, but the new league [00:25:41] has great potential. For the first time in the history [00:25:45] of women's handball, this weekend a new Estonian and Latvian women's [00:25:48] joint league started, in which [00:25:52] four teams from Estonia and four from Latvia participate. HC Tabasalu played both [00:25:55] Today, they lost by four goals to Jēkabpils. [00:25:59] According to the team's head coach Kristin Kuldmaa, playing against Latvians [00:26:02] adds a lot to them, but the results of the first weekend were due to [00:26:06] a short bench. I think it was already so hard from yesterday, [00:26:09] heavy legs, that I just couldn't play until the end anymore, but I'm very happy that they [00:26:13] fought until the end and many wanted a substitution there, but they still gave their all until the end, [00:26:17] so I'm proud of the girls, it gave a lot, a lot [00:26:20] more, especially the fact that we were actually able to play [00:26:23] very well with both teams, well, I think it [00:26:26] motivated the women and young girls in our [00:26:29] team a lot and also also gave me [00:26:33] additional motivation to find even more different solutions [00:26:37] in training. Like Tabasalu, in addition to the domestic championship, [00:26:41] the teams of Mistra, Tapa and Mella also play in the unified league. [00:26:44] The creation of the league, according to the head of the Estonian Women's Handball [00:26:47] Commission, Kerli Jüksi, brings a completely new breath of fresh air. [00:26:50] This last decision came quite quickly, so here in the last [00:26:54] months of summer, we talked to various [00:26:57] clubs, everyone was immediately interested, but the idea [00:27:00] itself arose from the fact that many [00:27:04] Estonian team had already been in the [00:27:07] Baltic League and since there are also [00:27:10] some weaker teams in Estonian teams, it was thought that [00:27:14] an alternative could be found and then that's how it slowly came about [00:27:18] and since there was a lot of interest, it was started. The teams of Mistra, Tapa [00:27:21] and Mella all earned one win and one loss [00:27:25] over the weekend. Next, the Estonian clubs in the unified league will play each other in October. [00:27:29] at the beginning. [00:27:33] Olympic cross-country skiers Keidi and Kaidi Kaasiku are now [00:27:36] preparing for the new season. This summer has been [00:27:39] slightly different than previous ones. Both want to have a more stable [00:27:42] season compared to the last one. Keidi Kaasiku, who finished 13th [00:27:46] in the 50km distance at the Milano-Cortina Olympics. [00:27:50] Due to the beautiful result, there has been no excessive [00:27:53] increase in attention. Rather, it came from the inner circle [00:27:56] of Sunfti. The community was rather the one who [00:28:00] felt the most support from there. Rather, and [00:28:04] yes, that in other respects I am [00:28:07] satisfied myself, but perhaps such, I don't know, [00:28:11] such brilliance was perhaps not there, that someone would have [00:28:14] come along somewhere. In the winter of the new season, the main goal for both is the Falun [00:28:18] World Championships. The longer-term goal, however, is still towards the French Alps [00:28:21] Olympics. Now for the next seasons, I would like [00:28:25] to have more stability in the World Cup series. So that there would not be such ups [00:28:29] and downs, that by chance I am somewhere in the top 20 in one stage [00:28:33] and the rest I am behind 30, so more [00:28:36] stability. The sisters training under Jaanus Steppan have slightly changed [00:28:39] the training structure. This season we changed our [00:28:43] training system a bit, so some blocks were [00:28:47] swapped around, then the intense aerobic part. First [00:28:50] we started our preparation a little [00:28:53] later than before, so we rested a little more and then [00:28:57] started with the aerobic part, then [00:29:00] we did the more intense part. And then [00:29:04] back to aerobic. Keidi and Kaidi Kaasiku's best rides of the previous [00:29:07] season came from the Olympics. There is also a clear plan for the upcoming [00:29:11] World Cup season. Certainly not everyone will participate in the first [00:29:14] trimester, not all stages. [00:29:18] So [00:29:20] for us it may go a little differently. [00:29:25] Estonian luger Emma Triin Seer has overcome the disappointment [00:29:28] of missing out on an Olympic ticket and is starting the next season with a new, long-awaited [00:29:32] sled and high goals. [00:29:35] The Estonian luge team is preparing for the new season. Last week [00:29:39] , luger Emma Triin Seer refined her technique [00:29:43] on the ice of the Lõunakeskus. Right now we are here at ice training, and ice training means [00:29:47] that there is a starting part, and for that there are penguins, and my [00:29:50] general sport is on ice, in that sense. So it's good [00:29:54] for getting a feel for the ice before the start of the season, and the starting part [00:29:57] is penguins. So that's why we come here to hit penguins, to get [00:30:00] a little bit of that experience. [00:30:03] and also to refine that technique. This year's Winter Olympic ticket [00:30:06] was narrowly missed by Seer. At first it was a little [00:30:09] difficult, because, well, the motivation was there, everything was geared towards [00:30:12] the Olympics, and I still tried and gave my best, but honestly, [00:30:16] I also realized that I had only been doing this sport for a couple of years, [00:30:20] and the top athletes have been doing it for eight and ten years, if I, in such a short time, am still [00:30:23] a top 30 woman in the world, then it clearly shows that in a couple more [00:30:27] years I will also be able to get top 10 places, which does not rule out that next [00:30:30] season I will definitely be able to reach the top 15 threshold. Emma Triin [00:30:34] Seer trains under the national team's head coach, her father Marek [00:30:37] Seer. We are entering the new season with a brand new [00:30:41] sled. It is currently in cooperation with the Latvian [00:30:44] Luge Federation, in the final adjustments, so to speak. Final adjustments [00:30:47] means that it will be finally set up according to Emma. The sport has [00:30:51] technically changed a lot, the sled setup is basically looked for every [00:30:54] track and every weather, which perhaps at that time when I was riding, was not really looked for, well, [00:30:58] something was done, but not that much.
