[00:00:00] and unfold all this, Europeans, they just, they didn't [00:00:03] believe it during the first years of the war, which we had, remember, yes, that the war [00:00:07] sooner or later would come to them, it was somewhere there [00:00:10] on the side, just as it's hard [00:00:14] to de-preserve and remember [00:00:17] this story, so it's already harder [00:00:20] to turn it back in case of anything, that is, maybe [00:00:24] horses are harder to harness, but it's also hard to stop them, [00:00:27] and here, in fact, regarding a more [00:00:30] distant perspective, given what you said, the Russian [00:00:34] Federation is not disappearing anywhere, and unfortunately, the fact that it is not disappearing, as [00:00:38] medieval Frenchmen said, yes, well, unfortunately, the fact that it is not [00:00:42] disappearing means new challenges for us, [00:00:45] for our economy, for our business. The Russian Federation destroyed [00:00:49] two logistics centers of Epicenter in Kyiv and [00:00:51] the region, the Nova Poshta sorting center, hit the heart of Novus logistics, [00:00:54] Silpo warehouses, six people died. [00:00:58] Ukrzaliznytsia is constantly [00:01:02] under shelling, and these are only [00:01:06] the biggest players right now. If [00:01:09] we talk about how the state intends to support [00:01:13] business, then in the government they say that they will provide [00:01:16] businesses with priority access to premises so that they can [00:01:20] decentralize warehouses, says Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky at [00:01:23] an emergency meeting with business representatives, so I would like [00:01:26] to understand if this will help in the same way? [00:01:33] The approach to decentralization worked in our energy sector, [00:01:36] and before, similar methods were used for fuel, [00:01:40] will it work for business, Kristina, [00:01:43] let's look at it from two sides, I've commented on this not for the first time, [00:01:47] everyone is worried about business, no one is worried about [00:01:51] the Ukrainian consumer, about the ordinary Ukrainian who goes to [00:01:54] the store, what awaits him as a result of [00:01:58] this story, but we will discuss this a little later, look, [00:02:02] what happened to us today, [00:02:05] so the security issue is changing [00:02:08] in essence, Russian shelling and war are now forcing [00:02:12] Ukrainian businesses to change the scheme [00:02:15] they used to work with, including retail chains, we had [00:02:19] what is called concentration in economics, and [00:02:23] in other words, as people say, when large retail chains [00:02:26] conducted an aggressive policy, they went... [00:02:30] first to regional centers, then district centers, then towns, [00:02:33] then large villages and gradually, what did they do, [00:02:37] they squeezed out these small kiosks, small private [00:02:40] shops, because a retail chain always has advantages, and [00:02:44] it's more comfortable there, in one place there is more goods, and [00:02:48] of course we as buyers went there, but this had [00:02:51] a downside, because economics is not a black and white movie, [00:02:54] economics is like a rainbow, where seven [00:02:58] colors for someone is green. color someone wins, for someone yellow [00:03:01] color, that's danger, someone also has red color, then he [00:03:05] loses, as a result of which [00:03:08] such a thing arose, you know, like monopolism of large retail chains, which began [00:03:12] to dictate terms to food [00:03:15] producers, [00:03:18] I agree with you, this is a process that is simply objective, [00:03:21] it was, it has its results, but at the same time, it is important [00:03:24] to note how the state took [00:03:28] an unclear position in promoting small and [00:03:32] medium-sized businesses, so that they could at least, I would say, [00:03:35] Kristina, more diplomatically, that large retail chains had greater [00:03:39] political opportunities to lobby their interests compared to small [00:03:43] and medium-sized businesses. As of today, due to [00:03:46] the war, due to Russian strikes, this scheme [00:03:49] is ending, and we see this, and when yesterday presidential advisor [00:03:52] Serhiy Flash directly calls on retail chains to [00:03:56] and not only retail chains, that we need to abandon large... [00:04:00] centers, we need to abandon car [00:04:03] enterprises where dozens, or even hundreds [00:04:06] of cars were concentrated, we need to do deconcentration, [00:04:09] that is, to switch to medium and [00:04:12] small warehouses, we need [00:04:15] to make it more mobile, [00:04:18] in the end, we return, but there is nothing new, as they say, well [00:04:22] forgotten old, when there was such a slogan from field to [00:04:25] table, that is, then, when retail chains will [00:04:28] have to negotiate and... with food [00:04:31] producers, that it will not go to warehouses, as [00:04:35] it was before, but will go directly to [00:04:37] stores, that is, first of all, I would like to appeal to [00:04:41] Ukrainians, not to panic, now [00:04:44] is a great moment for Russian propaganda to destabilize [00:04:47] the situation, to tell everyone that everything is lost, that tomorrow there will be empty [00:04:51] shelves in stores, run and buy food [00:04:54] products, cereals, sugar, salt, [00:04:57] canned goods, no need to run anywhere, no need to [00:05:00] buy anything, and there may be some [00:05:03] certain interruptions in retail chains, especially those in Kyiv, in the Kyiv [00:05:06] region, some certain goods may, for a certain time, [00:05:10] disappear. If we take it on an all-Ukrainian [00:05:13] scale, this will not happen, why? Because [00:05:17] for us, large retail chains are mostly [00:05:19] cities, and you know, towns and villages [00:05:23] traditionally, people go to the market [00:05:25] to shop, and if we talk about [00:05:28] retail, about e-commerce, then when we talk about [00:05:32] Rozetka, which suffered, which is our main [00:05:35] such a mat-market, Aurora is our America, our e-commerce [00:05:39] in the total trade turnover occupies about 10%. [00:05:43] Why is it not as painful for us as for Russians, because for Russians [00:05:46] it's almost up to 30%, and through Wildberries they bought [00:05:50] almost 50% of non-food products, that is, [00:05:53] clothes, shoes, stationery, household [00:05:57] goods, household appliances, so for them it is [00:06:00] much more painful than for us, we only have [00:06:03] 10%, we prefer to buy our own, so [00:06:07] first of all, I would like to urge Ukrainians not to run [00:06:10] to the store today and nothing. Don't buy in advance, because such [00:06:14] an option is possible. Second option, what can [00:06:17] change? Of course, logistical losses, losses [00:06:21] that business suffered today, this is a tragedy, and human [00:06:24] lives that, unfortunately, were lost, [00:06:27] and goods, so how our system works in our [00:06:31] large stores, goods are taken on [00:06:34] consignment, stores do not buy out goods from the manufacturer, they [00:06:37] take them for one to two weeks to one to two months, sell them, [00:06:41] their margin is 10, 15, 20% depending on [00:06:45] the group of goods, thanks to which the store lives, and then, when it [00:06:48] sold the goods, it settles with the manufacturer, [00:06:52] therefore, of course, that now to calculate, it will simply be [00:06:55] nothing, so most likely, I think, measures will be proposed by the government [00:06:59] regarding tax holidays, regarding [00:07:02] payment deferrals, maybe there will be something that is still [00:07:06] official information, there is no wider information, [00:07:10] maybe there will be preferential lending, because [00:07:13] all the goods that were destroyed, there are not [00:07:16] many own retail chains, and retail [00:07:19] chains are owners of warehouses, and not even all of them, most of them [00:07:23] rent, so the owners suffered, but when we talk [00:07:26] about thousands, and retail chains work with thousands [00:07:29] of producers, then they undoubtedly suffered, obviously for them [00:07:33] there will be either tax holidays, or a deferral, [00:07:36] installment payment, or preferential lending, [00:07:39] so can it get more expensive, yes it can? [00:07:42] How much more expensive, of course, is another question, if [00:07:46] we take the cost, say, of a conditional product that costs 100 [00:07:49] hryvnias, then logistics for us is 10-12 hryvnias, that is, [00:07:52] 10-12% of the value of the product sold in [00:07:56] the store, and therefore to say that it will become 10% [00:07:59] more expensive, well, I would not rush, because, for example, [00:08:03] food products, especially vegetables, have a seasonal character, now [00:08:06] vegetables are starting, our own potatoes have already [00:08:09] appeared, the price for them is falling, so this... can [00:08:13] compensate, so I do not assume [00:08:16] that there will be any sharp jump in prices, most likely there will be no such thing, [00:08:25] I saw in my Silpo near my house yesterday, that, well, [00:08:29] this is not the first time such a story happens after shelling, it happens that some goods are simply [00:08:33] not available, in certain departments there are clean shelves with [00:08:36] nothing on them, well, this mainly concerns some food [00:08:39] products and also fruits, vegetables are not supplied, that is, this [00:08:43] will affect, I wonder if this will also affect the cost of certain goods, [00:08:47] well, but, and I want to note that on the contrary, yesterday in one of the chains [00:08:50] I noticed the appearance of recently [00:08:54] disappeared products, unfortunately, also disappeared as a result of Russian [00:08:57] attacks, and this gently indicates that they are trying [00:09:01] to recover, and this is also great in fact, colleagues, [00:09:04] economics is a self-regulating organization, if somewhere [00:09:07] it failed, if one supplier left, a new one [00:09:11] immediately appears in his place... don't worry, these interruptions [00:09:15] may happen, but believe me, it's very temporary, it's very [00:09:19] temporary, we didn't have empty shelves in the worst year of 2022, [00:09:30] Ukraine, if the enemy has not captured our territory, does not make this [00:09:34] famine artificial, as it was in 1932, 1933, [00:09:38] or after the war in 1947 or in the 1920s, [00:09:41] this is more difficult. But on the other hand, we understand that the enemy strikes not only [00:09:45] at those warehouses where industrial [00:09:47] products are stored, these are food, those or other consumer goods, of course, [00:09:51] first of all, it is important for those warehouses [00:09:55] where those things are stored that are needed for the war, here the enemy, of course, [00:09:58] there are certain moments that you cannot replace in one day, and it is clear [00:10:02] that, well, the question is that [00:10:05] these areas, these premises, [00:10:08] which will be provided by the state for the placement of certain [00:10:12] goods. Of course, it is very important that they are kept [00:10:15] in the strictest secrecy, [00:10:18] because we see that, by the way, people are being detained now who were targeting [00:10:21] ballistic missiles in Kyiv, and, by the way, outside Kyiv, for drone production. For [00:10:25] military facilities, for these facilities, and in Odesa, and you look at these people, well, [00:10:29] honestly, it makes you angry, but young people, young people who were caught somewhere in [00:10:32] Telegram, offered money, they just did it this way, and I [00:10:36] offer you some quite interesting information, a little [00:10:39] bit of prehistory to it, we have already reported, let me remind you that the head of the Pentagon [00:10:43] Pidgey Axed wrote on social media that we have [00:10:47] no such problems with [00:10:50] Patriot missile stocks in our warehouses, as CNN [00:10:54] previously reported. He, well, in fact, tried [00:10:57] to justify this situation, while US President Donald Trump's frustration [00:11:01] with the war with Iran reached its peak last [00:11:05] week at Camp David, where he demanded from [00:11:08] Pentagon chief Pete Haxat an explanation as to why [00:11:11] he was, apparently, misled regarding the acute [00:11:15] shortage of ammunition, which currently threatens to limit military [00:11:19] capabilities in the conflict with Iran, The Washington Post writes, citing [00:11:22] sources familiar with the conversation. [00:11:26] The conversation allegedly took place on Friday on the sidelines of a Cabinet [00:11:29] meeting, where Trump expressed his frustration to Haxat, [00:11:32] stating that he believed the ammunition problem [00:11:36] had been resolved. In short, [00:11:39] it is currently unclear who stands where, [00:11:43] who proves that there is enough ammunition, who says that there is [00:11:46] indeed too little. CNN journalists said that [00:11:49] resource depletion reached [00:11:51] 80%, and in fact, the level of [00:11:55] necessary ammunition, particularly [00:12:02] is supposed to join us, an extraordinary and plenipotentiary envoy of the first class, [00:12:06] and we will talk about many things on which [00:12:09] today depends the course of the war in Ukraine, well, [00:12:12] you know, not even the course of the war, here it depends more on Ukraine's [00:12:16] capability, purely material, purely technical, in this [00:12:19] war not just to participate, in this war to play [00:12:23] a role and even dictate its policy to Russia, because to a large [00:12:27] extent Ukraine today, by the way, like Russia, depends on the support [00:12:30] of our partners, you know, when someone says that yes, Ukraine depends, Ukraine depends [00:12:34] on this and that, Russia also depends, in many ways today Russia depends on, [00:12:38] if it didn't depend, then actually North Koreans wouldn't be deploying [00:12:42] in the Western time, that is, we understand that they are, by the way, preparing, as I understand it, for [00:12:46] winter this unit, which will receive missiles from [00:12:49] Korea, will, as they say, continuously hit Kyiv, this is a great threat, I think that the main task, [00:12:53] which the president has definitely given, is to identify the location of this [00:12:57] Korean unit and force it to return home, [00:13:00] well, obviously, we will talk about [00:13:04] the reactions in the civilized world to what Russians are doing [00:13:08] to the Ukrainian capital, to the Kyiv [00:13:28] Ambassador Katerina Maternova published a lengthy post with details of the night [00:13:32] attacks by the Russian Federation on Kyiv and its suburbs, emphasizing that [00:13:36] the new regularity of ballistic attacks exhausts Ukrainians, a similar attempt [00:13:40] to break Kyiv. There was [00:13:43] also a reaction from Emmanuel Macron, the President [00:13:47] of France, he, in response to the missile [00:13:50] attack, stated that, despite the fact that Russia again chose its method [00:13:54] of attacking civilians, support for Ukraine will [00:13:58] intensify, not simply remain at [00:14:01] the same level, and we will not retreat, no matter how long it takes, but [00:14:04] it will intensify. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs [00:14:07] of Poland also issued a statement, a reaction to [00:14:11] another massive Russian attack on civilian targets. [00:14:14] The main targets, let us recall, were warehouses of civilian enterprises, infrastructure [00:14:18] facilities and a railway station, [00:14:21] which they commented on tonight. [00:14:24] Another attack on civilian targets in Ukraine, people died, in particular, people who [00:14:28] were waiting for a train, wrote the spokesperson of the Polish [00:14:31] Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and also drew attention to the video from Kherson, which has been circulating [00:14:35] in recent days, where a Russian drone actually hunts an absolutely [00:14:39] civilian fruit and vegetable seller, if I am not [00:14:42] mistaken, in short, yes, what the Russian [00:14:45] Federation is doing in Ukraine causes vivid [00:14:49] reactions, the only question is whether this will really lead to [00:14:52] strengthening or a revision [00:14:55] of the support [00:15:03] these are international crimes that Russia [00:15:06] is committing on the territory of Ukraine, and each [00:15:09] fact is added to [00:15:12] the list, the list of those international crimes, [00:15:16] we see a very strong [00:15:20] reaction, we see support, we see an increase [00:15:23] in funding. [00:15:25] The only thing that interests all of us is when will Russia [00:15:28] stop, because [00:15:30] in four years there have been a huge [00:15:33] number of international crimes that Russia [00:15:36] has committed, and many people say [00:15:40] that there is no way out for the Russians, for the [00:15:44] leadership, that too many red [00:15:48] lines have been crossed, too many crimes have been committed, [00:15:51] and therefore they are afraid to [00:15:54] stop the war, I don't think so, I think that in the near [00:15:58] future, I hope, I believe in this, that there will be [00:16:01] a cessation of hostilities, that is what our president says [00:16:04] on the front line, and we will [00:16:07] begin full-scale negotiations with the participation of not only [00:16:11] America-Russia, but with the participation of many countries that [00:16:15] can no longer watch all this, and [00:16:18] the fact that the Ambassador of the European Union monitors [00:16:22] what is happening in Kyiv, writes emotionally, this is very important, because [00:16:25] for [00:16:28] the European Union and countries, they [00:16:30] see directly [00:16:33] their representative of their European Union, who [00:16:36] writes about it, writes about a wedding in [00:16:40] September, which is supposed to take place, we saw this in the post, [00:16:44] I hope that already in September, her [00:16:47] employee's wedding will already be planned in silence without [00:16:51] shelling. Meanwhile, information appears that in [00:16:55] July in Vienna there was a meeting of former high-ranking officials of Great Britain, France, [00:16:58] Germany and Russia, its purpose was to discuss possible conditions for holding [00:17:02] peace talks on ending the war in Ukraine, Bloomberg writes, [00:17:05] the group included former UK National Security Advisor [00:17:09] Tim Barrow, [00:17:12] Markus Ederer from Germany, [00:17:15] Pierre Vimont, a French diplomat, very experienced, [00:17:18] refused to name the former Kremlin official who participated in [00:17:21] the meeting. You just noted that you very much hope that some [00:17:25] negotiation processes will be resumed and not only with the participation of the United States, [00:17:29] but also a wider range, including European countries, can it be said that [00:17:32] at such informal meetings questions are now being decided [00:17:36] who exactly will represent. [00:17:38] and on what basis, well, and on the territory of neutral Austria [00:17:46] it is very important that these contacts, which [00:17:49] are classified, are taking place, it is very important that some diplomatic [00:17:53] moments are being worked out, it is very important from the [00:17:56] point of view of subsequent official [00:17:59] negotiations, because there are certain [00:18:03] limits, where, for example, the Ukrainian [00:18:06] side cannot... Russia demands [00:18:09] territorial [00:18:12] concessions, but Ukraine, I [00:18:16] think, after four years of so many [00:18:19] dead people, on our side the Armed Forces of Ukraine, civilians, [00:18:23] no one will ever give the Russian Federation [00:18:27] another square meter, and we have conveyed our [00:18:30] position to other countries, and I think [00:18:33] that this will be an important [00:18:37] moment for [00:18:40] Russia to withdraw troops from our, from the occupied [00:18:43] territories, what in return, as in [00:18:46] diplomacy concessions are accepted, what [00:18:49] Ukraine will concede in exchange for [00:18:51] de-occupation, well, I [00:18:54] see, and there are articles, [00:18:57] there are certain discussions about us [00:19:00] stopping our path to NATO, well, [00:19:04] that's just a theory, and what is actually being agreed upon. [00:19:07] These unofficial meetings, we don't [00:19:11] know, because it's classified, but I think that specific points [00:19:15] and provisions of the future [00:19:18] peace treaty are being worked out, and well, how can one [00:19:21] not recall, I said in one word about NATO, [00:19:25] I will not quote now, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Great Britain, Valeriy Zaluzhny, and [00:19:29] then the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that they took Zaluzhny's words about NATO out of context, [00:19:32] but in any case, a certain signal was [00:19:36] sent, no matter how one interprets it, that is [00:19:39] already a matter of free interpretation of what General [00:19:43] and Ambassador of Ukraine to Britain, Valeriy Zaluzhny, said about NATO, but in any [00:19:46] case, if this is a subject of negotiations, then sooner or [00:19:49] later we will find out about it, I can only add, because it is very [00:19:53] important, those negotiations that took place in Vienna in July, [00:19:56] they are not related to the current policy of the states [00:20:00] that, in the person of their former officials, conducted [00:20:04] certain contacts there, this is important, yes, well, and you see [00:20:07] that... after this regular strike that Russia inflicted on [00:20:10] Ukraine, using, by the way, North Korean ballistic [00:20:14] missiles, which is important, this once again indicates that North Korea is a full participant in this [00:20:18] war, that is, there was Belarus, now there is North Korea, well, one way or another, Iran, because [00:20:21] it transferred Shaheds, well, and we know that China also transfers many technologies, [00:20:25] although it distances itself from this, but Europe also reacted, [00:20:29] Von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission, stated that after this strike on [00:20:33] Kyiv, she announced that the EU would transfer to Ukraine 1.4 billion profits from frozen [00:20:37] assets. Russian Federation. Here is another important story. Sweden. The Kingdom [00:20:40] of Sweden will for the first time transfer to Ukraine a vessel of the Russian [00:20:44] Federation's shadow fleet. Andriy Sybiha, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, welcomed this [00:20:47] decision. This is the ship Kafa, as far as I understand. and it transported [00:20:51] stolen grain from stolen Crimea, occupied Crimea by the enemy, [00:20:54] and now it has finally been detained and transferred to Ukraine. How positive [00:20:58] this moment is, I am talking more about the vessel now, because this is the first time this is happening, and [00:21:02] can we expect that there will be a continuation of this story, how painful is it for Russia, they have many of these vessels, [00:21:05] we understand, but such a precedent, how important is it, please, [00:21:15] Russia are welcomed in Ukraine, Russia is not pleased [00:21:18] that its property is being transferred, Russia is not pleased that its billions are frozen [00:21:22] at the Central Bank, from which we are now receiving almost 2 [00:21:25] billion in next [00:21:28] aid, but [00:21:31] these are piecemeal steps [00:21:35] that, so to speak, [00:21:39] are working slowly, [00:21:42] that is, step by step, we see that Russia [00:21:46] is fighting with the whole world, with all [00:21:51] countries, the United States, we would [00:21:53] like China [00:21:56] to take such a sharp [00:22:00] side of Ukraine, but we see [00:22:02] certain moments, for example, threats of nuclear [00:22:06] nuclear strike, China sharply negatively [00:22:10] reacts, America supports China's [00:22:13] statements, that is, these specific, and [00:22:16] aid from the European Union, and [00:22:19] the transfer of the ship by Sweden, [00:22:21] this all contributes to [00:22:24] Russia being a pariah country, and that [00:22:28] Russia is fighting against the whole world, how it [00:22:31] is perceived in Russia, it is difficult for me to say, because [00:22:34] I think that there are enough people there who [00:22:37] will also make some decision and there will be [00:22:40] a change of power in Russia, because [00:22:44] drop by drop of these economic [00:22:47] sanctions, these statements [00:22:50] against Russia, it will play its role, [00:22:54] yes, well, let's now talk about what Russia [00:22:57] is doing, or is suspected of doing on [00:23:00] Russian territory, on the territory of the European Union, in particular, [00:23:04] the special services of the Russian Federation planned an assassination attempt on the head of a German drone manufacturer, [00:23:07] before that, a few years ago, well, more or less somewhere there, it was [00:23:11] about years, there was information about the preparation of an assassination attempt on the head [00:23:14] of a company that very actively helps Ukraine with [00:23:18] heavy weapons. equipment [00:23:20] and so on, in Germany they warn about the Matryoshka campaign [00:23:24] of the Russian Federation on the eve of the elections, there should be presidential elections in Germany, [00:23:27] let me remind you in 2027, well, and here is another very important story, [00:23:31] at night at Leipzig airport, this is eastern, if I'm not mistaken, Germany, [00:23:35] drones with explosives and detonators were found on the ground, and Ukrainian cargo [00:23:39] planes, AN-225s, as far as I understand, or [00:23:42] which large cargo planes were involved, [00:23:45] who is not doing their job, so to speak, who is not [00:23:48] is refining... in this matter, if we recall the history of Russia, [00:23:52] when drones crossed the air corridor that President Zelensky's plane [00:23:56] was flying through in Ireland, let's recall that story and [00:23:59] there have been numerous such stories. Please tell me, is this a shortcoming [00:24:03] of the special services in the European Union, or an inadequate assessment of threats from [00:24:07] Russia by individual states? [00:24:10] Well, Mr. Vasyl, it's difficult to say who is failing [00:24:13] to do their job here. This speaks [00:24:17] to generalizing facts. We can say [00:24:21] that Russia is a terrorist state, and [00:24:24] these facts that make it into the press, we understand that [00:24:28] not all facts make it into the press, there is classified [00:24:31] information, because these are special services, this is military [00:24:35] equipment, this is for citizens, [00:24:38] who [00:24:40] are from the European Union and Germany in this case, who [00:24:44] help Ukraine [00:24:47] with military equipment, so these are... such generalizing [00:24:51] facts, this is yet another proof, not just one, but many proofs that [00:24:55] Russia is a terrorist [00:24:58] state, and this [00:25:01] is generalized, analyzed, [00:25:04] and I think that of course, special services, we [00:25:08] understand that they have their [00:25:11] capabilities to operate on Russian territory, there are secret [00:25:15] agents, no one has canceled that, [00:25:18] and... perhaps there [00:25:21] is [00:25:24] also a limit that Russia can cross, and then there will be [00:25:27] a reaction from special services [00:25:30] against Russia, but as a diplomat, [00:25:33] it is difficult for me to analyze the actions of special services, I am not [00:25:37] an employee of a special service, but the fact that this [00:25:40] says that Russia is a terrorist state and is committing [00:25:44] further international crimes, well, that's a fact. And now at the very end, [00:25:48] it's also a very important [00:25:50] topic, because Russia, you see, influences not only by trying to blow something up somewhere, or trying [00:25:54] to commit assassination attempts somewhere, it tries to quarrel [00:25:57] partners, close nations, particularly Ukraine and Poland, it is said, and to [00:26:01] sow discord. and bring this [00:26:04] story to a boiling point. Well, now we're talking about attacks that are happening in Poland [00:26:07] against Ukrainians by Poles, and against Poles by Ukrainians, by the way, [00:26:11] as well. Let's listen to the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, who [00:26:15] urged President Karol Nawrocki to side with those who fear violence on [00:26:19] the streets of Poland, and to try [00:26:29] to unequivocally side with those who today fear violence [00:26:33] and rudeness on the streets, which are typically demonstrated by semi-criminal [00:26:36] formations, often associated with hooligan groups. I would [00:26:40] prefer this to be clear. I know that people are increasingly [00:26:43] afraid that something will happen to them right on the street. I would like [00:26:47] President Nawrocki to stand guard over people's safety, and not to show [00:26:51] favoritism to those associated with [00:26:52] disorder. [00:26:55] Well, and let's just remind you that next year in six European [00:26:58] countries, there will be elections in seven countries, some of which are parliamentary elections. In [00:27:02] two countries, France and Germany, presidential elections, in Germany the president [00:27:05] is not the first person of the state, of course, there the prime minister in the Bundestag [00:27:09] forms policy, in France the president is the first person who [00:27:13] actually decides issues, well, in Poland there will also be elections, and in fact, whether [00:27:16] these attempts to raise the degree of confrontation, perhaps [00:27:20] inspired by someone, these attacks that are happening, how much of this can really [00:27:23] be Russia's work and how should [00:27:27] we act here, we are now talking about Poland in order to minimize this [00:27:36] special services there are, ours have repeatedly [00:27:39] said, which departments named the numbers of these [00:27:42] departments in the Russian Federation special services that [00:27:46] are engaged in this discord between [00:27:49] neighboring states with Ukraine, from my own experience, from [00:27:53] 1995-1997, I worked at the embassy in [00:27:56] Romania, we saw how Russian special services did [00:27:59] everything so that we could not sign the basic [00:28:02] political agreement on the borders and on the recognition of [00:28:06] Snake Island, Snake Island as our territory, Russian [00:28:10] special services did a lot, we saw it, recorded it, monitored it, when [00:28:14] I worked as consul general in Istanbul in 2006-2010, [00:28:16] President Viktor [00:28:20] Yushchenko was president, so I remember that the same thing happened against me and [00:28:24] personally because we were doing our [00:28:27] work regarding the visit of Patriarch Bartholomew, [00:28:31] uh project... Tomos, which then failed, [00:28:34] due to certain reasons, [00:28:37] the visit of Patriarch Bartholomew in [00:28:40] 2008, we saw, [00:28:43] directly monitored how Russian special services act [00:28:46] against this [00:28:49] direction, that is, I have direct, [00:28:51] practical experience that Russia [00:28:55] causes discord, and returning to [00:28:58] Poland, Poland itself sees [00:29:02] that... Russia uses [00:29:05] negative pages from our history and [00:29:08] uses foreign citizens, pays them [00:29:20] political leadership is important, although there was a statement from [00:29:23] the President Nawrocki's office, who also condemned and said [00:29:27] that it should not happen from any [00:29:57] of silence the memory of Ukrainian military personnel and peaceful [00:30:01] citizens of Ukraine who died in [00:30:04] the war that Russia unleashed.
