The head of the Radio Regulatory [00:00:32] Organization said that with the change of generation in the field of communication infrastructure and the collection [00:00:36] of copper cables, internet quality will improve. [00:00:39] Mr. Fattahi added that internet tariffs will also be [00:00:42] determined based on the quality and users' livelihood basket. [00:00:46] Quality will be achieved through this [00:00:49] change and through this [00:00:53] generational change in infrastructure. This will happen. If [00:00:56] you now connect [00:01:00] with users who have fiber-based connections, fiber optic connection at [00:01:03] home, you will surely see that they are satisfied [00:01:07] and with speed and, as I said, several [00:01:11] times, dozens of times, and in some places hundreds of times more quality compared to that [00:01:15] speed. Is the cost high or almost reasonable? You see, [00:01:19] the cost is completely [00:01:21] designed based on those indicators and the tariffs that are [00:01:25] provided to users, in any case, are based on the same indicators that [00:01:28] if they previously had, for example, a [00:01:32] fixed connection, it is proportional to the increase in speed and quality that has occurred, [00:01:36] it is proportional to that. Well, I say that surely the livelihood [00:01:39] basket of the people and users [00:01:42] in this regard, I would say that [00:01:45] the legislator in this field, who we are in the Regulatory Commission, [00:01:48] we fully take these into consideration. [00:01:51] The [00:01:54] deadline for choosing a field of study for the national teacher-student exam [00:01:57] and also admission based on academic records ends today. According [00:02:01] to the National Education Assessment Organization, this deadline will not [00:02:05] be extended. Applicants have until the end of today to [00:02:08] visit the website of the Assessment Organization at sanjesh.org. [00:02:12] Also, guidebooks for choosing a field of study with amendments and new [00:02:16] fields of study have also been [00:02:17] published. [00:02:20] The pure body of Martyr Mehdi Jamshidi was laid to rest [00:02:24] in the Martyrs' Cemetery of [00:02:27] as to why you could not access any of Baft County with the enthusiastic presence of people and officials. Martyr [00:02:30] Jamshidi was assassinated on the evening of Thursday, October [00:02:34] 16th, in Faryab County. The police commander of Kerman Province [00:02:38] emphasized in this ceremony the firm resolve of the armed [00:02:41] forces in ensuring the security of the people and the country. [00:02:44] He [00:02:47] was a martyr who served the people. All [00:02:50] his time, all his time was spent [00:02:53] serving the people. He also advised us [00:02:56] to serve the people as much as you can. [00:03:05] The first group of detached housing units of the National Housing [00:03:09] Movement in Parnian Town, Qom, were handed over to applicants. [00:03:13] 180 families, after years of renting, received [00:03:16] the keys to their homes. These [00:03:20] buildings are not just a simple four-walled house, but [00:03:23] the dream home of families. [00:03:25] 180 families starting from today. [00:03:29] امروز. [00:04:01] which will be delivered to applicants in Parnian. This project started at the beginning of 2024. [00:04:04] In the framework of 552 [00:04:08] detached units, [00:04:10] the land area of the plots is 300 square [00:04:12] meters, and between [00:04:16] 100 and [00:04:19] 4 to 108 square meters of usable area in [00:04:22] four architectural types. The Parnian units are not apartments, [00:04:26] but single-story units with courtyards. The houses are semi- [00:04:30] finished and delivered to applicants. The fine finishing [00:04:33] is up to them. The contract with the construction [00:04:36] companies in the Parnian site is up to the plastering stage. That means [00:04:39] we complete the brickwork, we complete the courtyard, we put an internal [00:04:43] and external facade and the courtyard door. Parnian is 30 kilometers from [00:04:47] Qom, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. But the access [00:04:50] road is also going to be renovated and improved. The old Neyzar [00:04:54] road is being dualized. The road [00:04:57] that goes towards Aliabad and provides access [00:05:00] to the town is also under construction. In Parnian, 3,150 residential [00:05:04] units are under construction. Today's [00:05:07] units are the first units that were delivered to applicants in [00:05:11] this small town. It is planned that all units will be delivered [00:05:15] to applicants in the next few days. Ali Sadeghi, Voice and Vision [00:05:19] News Agency, Qom. A member of the US Senate Foreign Relations [00:05:22] Committee said that military presence in West Asia should be reviewed [00:05:26] because military bases in this region are easy and defenseless [00:05:30] targets for Iranians. Chris Murphy [00:05:33] added that these bases do not protect us because as soon as [00:05:37] a war starts, they will immediately be out of commission. Murphy, who is one [00:05:41] of the potential Democratic candidates in the upcoming US [00:05:44] presidential election, described the extent of the damage to the US [00:05:47] embassy building during his recent trip to West Asia as significant. [00:05:51] The member of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee also called [00:05:55] launching a war against Iran a national humiliation for the US and [00:05:58] criticized the Pentagon for not allowing him and his delegation [00:06:02] to visit the Al-Udeid airbase. [00:06:04] اند. [00:06:07] The member of the political bureau of the Hamas movement emphasized that the threats of the Israeli [00:06:11] regime's war minister do not weaken the will of the resistance. Bassem [00:06:15] Naim, in response to Katz's threats against the head of the political [00:06:18] bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement of Palestine, said: "Hamas takes [00:06:22] these threats seriously." The member of the political bureau of the Hamas [00:06:25] movement addressed the Zionist officials, saying: "You threaten us with something that [00:06:29] we pray for day and night, which is martyrdom. Your [00:06:32] efforts will fail, and we will continue on our path until [00:06:36] victory and the liberation of Palestine." Naim, referring to the internal political atmosphere [00:06:40] of the Zionist regime on the eve of the Knesset elections, said: [00:06:43] "Extremist elements in the occupied territories are competing to escalate [00:06:47] crimes against Palestinians in order [00:06:50] to win the elections." [00:06:53] Saudi Arabia, continuing its attacks on civilian areas in Yemen, [00:06:56] bombed the north of the country's capital, which resulted in [00:07:00] a number of citizens being injured. [00:07:03] The border district of Al-Zahir in Sa'ada province was also [00:07:07] targeted by a missile attack. Saudi fighter jets also bombed [00:07:10] the main road in Hayfan district in the south of the province. [00:07:14] Also, following a mine explosion left by Saudi-backed forces [00:07:18] inside a citizen's house in Jabal Habashi district, [00:07:21] six children were injured. The spokesman for the Yemeni Ministry [00:07:25] of Health also announced that as a result of Saudi Arabia's air attack [00:07:28] last night on Hamdan district in northwest Sana'a, [00:07:32] one civilian was martyred and five others were injured. Yemeni armed [00:07:36] forces, in response to these aggressions, [00:07:39] targeted Khamis Mushait city in southwestern Saudi Arabia [00:07:43] with a ballistic missile [00:07:45] early this morning, Monday. [00:07:48] 300 Iraqi Moqebdars, after hosting Arbaeen pilgrims, [00:07:51] are now pilgrims to Imam Raouf. This journey, in addition [00:07:55] to providing an opportunity for pilgrimage and spiritual benefit, [00:07:58] also provides a platform for [00:08:01] strengthening communication between the servants of Iraqi Moqebs [00:08:04] and Iranian cultural and religious activists. [00:08:08] These days, the sweet scent [00:08:12] of Iraqi hospitality during Arbaeen is intertwined [00:08:15] with the scent of pilgrimage to Imam Raouf. [00:08:18] است [00:08:24] It is the story of the service of servants who, a few months [00:08:27] ago, in the scorching heat of Samarra, hosted [00:08:30] the walking pilgrims of Arbaeen with all their heart. [00:08:34] Friends, after they complete their [00:08:37] pilgrimage, they go to the shrine of the martyred leader [00:08:40] of the Islamic Revolution there. [00:09:05] Moqebdars in love with the path of service have changed it to the path of pilgrimage [00:09:09] and they themselves are pilgrims to Imam Reza (AS). [00:09:42] It is planned that during the three-day program, they will visit the cultural [00:09:46] capacities of Mashhad and meet with the servants of Imam [00:09:49] Reza (AS). Farshid Abdi, Voice and Vision News [00:09:51] Agency, Holy Shrine of Imam [00:09:53] Reza (AS). [00:09:56] Thank you very much for being with us for this news segment. [00:10:24] In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. [00:10:28] I greet you, dear viewers, and wish you a good morning. On [00:10:32] the eve of the US midterm congressional elections, [00:10:35] which are scheduled to be held on November 3rd, [00:10:39] or November 12th, a poll conducted [00:10:42] by the Pew Research Center has proven that [00:10:46] the focus and attention of American voters [00:10:49] is still on the US economy. This means [00:10:53] that on average, 84% [00:10:56] of American voters, both Democrats [00:10:59] and Republicans, have emphasized that the chaotic [00:11:03] and disorganized situation of the US economy [00:11:07] in recent weeks and months has [00:11:10] led them to focus specifically on economic [00:11:13] issues and examine the approaches of congressional [00:11:16] candidates more closely in the economic sphere. Of [00:11:20] course, the economic consequences of the Iran [00:11:23] war have not remained limited to the US [00:11:27] and are not, and the world continues [00:11:30] to suffer from the issue of energy and the high [00:11:34] price of energy carriers, and there is rarely a day [00:11:37] that news in this regard is not reported. Here in the news channel studio, we are hosting Mr. [00:11:41] Mehdi Khorsand, an expert on international issues, [00:11:44] to discuss with him the economic consequences of the Iran war [00:11:48] in the US and also the consequences [00:11:52] in the economic sphere that have affected the world. Mr. Khorsand, [00:11:55] hello, welcome. I greet you, your esteemed colleagues, [00:11:59] and the noble people of Iran. I am at your service. [00:12:03] Thank you. Perhaps on March 9, 2025, when [00:12:07] Trump ordered the invasion of Iran, he thought that [00:12:10] the political situation of the Republican Party and himself on the eve [00:12:14] of the midterm congressional elections would [00:12:17] be brilliant, and through the war with Iran, he could [00:12:21] make the situation better than before and better than the estimations. But everything [00:12:25] went awry, and the result is the opposite. What exactly happened [00:12:28] inside the US, and what is the situation now? [00:12:32] Yes, in the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. When [00:12:35] the American and the Republican [00:12:38] administration of America were [00:12:41] looking for an achievement in their foreign policy, which they had [00:12:44] failed to achieve in the continuation of their first administration's scenario, [00:12:48] they had not achieved a tangible achievement in [00:12:51] the foreign sphere and in the continuation of [00:12:55] writing the scenario of the Abraham Accords, which was [00:12:58] about bringing Arabs and the Zionist regime closer [00:13:02] together, and the goal of this report was to eventually [00:13:06] push for maximum pressure and war with Iran. [00:13:09] We saw that these scenarios were [00:13:12] prepared and implemented in their second administration. [00:13:15] Mr. Nekmin, the event that occurred in the past [00:13:19] year, in the past few months [00:13:22] of the war, especially in the 39-day [00:13:25] war that we witnessed, was that the Americans [00:13:29] started the scenario in March of last [00:13:33] year in such a way that they would achieve [00:13:36] a swift victory, and this swift [00:13:40] victory could be an achievement for them in the midterm [00:13:43] congressional elections because the Republicans had heavily planned [00:13:47] on this issue to be able to both maintain the majority [00:13:50] in Congress and both houses of the US, [00:13:53] and then also have an option [00:13:57] in the next presidential election and be able to [00:14:00] pursue their path to success, in their own words. [00:14:03] But [00:14:06] the war in the Persian Gulf and the issue [00:14:10] of the Strait of Hormuz has become a quagmire for them, [00:14:13] and this quagmire has affected not only the US [00:14:17] and its domestic economy, but also many [00:14:20] countries whose economies depended on the US economy, especially [00:14:24] industrialized countries of the world, [00:14:27] and recently, in the coming hours [00:14:30] and days, we will also [00:14:33] have the IMF summit, and the reports that are being [00:14:36] examined there indicate that the world has entered [00:14:40] a new period of stagflation, meaning [00:14:43] that while the world and industrialized [00:14:46] countries, especially due to this war, [00:14:49] have both inflation, meaning a general increase [00:14:52] in prices, and recession due to uncertainty [00:14:56] and the lack of a clear and obvious outlook [00:14:59] for growth, they are suffering from it, and [00:15:03] this stagflation, as it is called in economics, [00:15:05] is one of the most [00:15:08] frequent economic calamities [00:15:12] that can affect the world. Many experts in the field of [00:15:15] political economy in the world [00:15:18] recall this period as the period [00:15:21] after 1970, approximately a 10-year period when the world [00:15:25] was entangled in a severe stagflation, and during that period, [00:15:29] incidentally, the Americans started an oil war [00:15:32] and an energy war in the world, and [00:15:35] later, that calamity [00:15:38] of stagflation in the world spread through this [00:15:41] American war. You referred to the classes [00:15:45] that are in the international arena, but before we want to [00:15:48] focus more on the global arena and the [00:15:51] imbalances that the world is experiencing in the energy sector, [00:15:55] let's talk a little more about inside America. [00:15:58] The situation is so critical for the Republican [00:16:02] Party and Trump has realized this horrific situation [00:16:05] that he has promised $5,000. [00:16:37] and naturally affects the price of all products, [00:16:41] especially in the food sector, [00:16:43] and the American people immediately feel this price increase [00:16:47] on their tables. This issue, well, [00:16:50] is an important issue. The importance [00:16:54] of Americans' voting power, their [00:16:57] voting pattern and rule, is very [00:17:01] much dependent on their livelihood [00:17:04] and living conditions, and has a direct relationship. [00:17:08] Let's put this point against Donald Trump's [00:17:11] promise, which is completely derived from the fact [00:17:15] that the US domestic economy is shrinking [00:17:19] in the current situation, and the tables of the [00:17:22] American people are taking direct blows from [00:17:26] the continuation of the US war in the Persian Gulf [00:17:30] against the Islamic Republic of Iran, and in order [00:17:33] to get out from under this psychological [00:17:36] pressure, and perhaps from under [00:17:40] these public protests in the US, he is making [00:17:43] this short-term promise that if the Republicans [00:17:47] again have the majority in Congress, [00:17:51] if they have the majority in both houses of the US, they can [00:17:55] at least with this [00:17:57] promise, perhaps in the short term, [00:18:00] keep the American society calm and [00:18:04] control this situation. But all the polls [00:18:08] that are currently being released by reputable American [00:18:10] institutions indicate that society no longer [00:18:14] reacts positively to these short-term promises. That is, even [00:18:18] with these measures that the US president has taken and with these promises [00:18:22] that he has made to American society, according to the polls, [00:18:25] the loser of the midterm congressional elections [00:18:28] in this country is still the Republicans. [00:18:31] The assumption is that, at least according [00:18:35] to the polls. Why [00:18:37] are people reacting to these polls in [00:18:41] this way? Because these polls are also taken [00:18:43] from the general atmosphere of Americans. All [00:18:47] assessments and all [00:18:50] probabilities that American media and think tanks are [00:18:54] publishing are that these consequences, even if the [00:18:57] war ends today, will have long-term consequences [00:19:01] for the global community. Energy prices [00:19:04] and the expected situation regarding the [00:19:07] Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf will no longer return [00:19:11] to normal conditions and before the Iran-US war, [00:19:14] and the equations of the region and the equations of [00:19:18] energy transit in the world are no longer dependent on the will [00:19:21] and desire of Americans in the world, and [00:19:24] this is the perception that has led American society to perhaps [00:19:28] not pay much attention to these short-term promises, and the [00:19:32] action that the US president took regarding the agreement [00:19:36] he made with Russia, in any case, Russia and the US are [00:19:40] confronting each other in Ukraine, but without considering this [00:19:44] fact, he acted on the agreement to import [00:19:47] gas oil from Russia. How do you evaluate this [00:19:50] action? Firstly, to what extent can it have a positive [00:19:54] impact on the US economy and somehow enable them [00:19:57] to overcome this crisis safely, and secondly, what political [00:20:00] consequences does it have for the US among European [00:20:04] allies? Look, this issue that news came [00:20:07] out and perhaps created a news wave in our country against [00:20:11] Russia, we need to have a correct analysis of it. [00:20:15] Firstly, there is much skepticism [00:20:18] about the operationalization of this matter. [00:20:21] Secondly, the next point regarding this [00:20:25] issue is that the amount of gas oil that has been [00:20:29] discussed, about 300,000 liters, might only [00:20:33] meet the needs of Americans for one to one and a half [00:20:36] days, and I say that these actions, firstly, due to the [00:20:40] Russia-Ukraine war, much of Russia's energy [00:20:44] exports have been affected by this war, and [00:20:47] we also saw that Ukraine's attack on one of [00:20:51] Russia's energy reserves immediately caused this issue [00:20:55] to be more doubted. But Mr. Nikpin, the political consequences [00:20:58] that it has had for American domestic society, especially [00:21:02] for the Republican Party, which has been under more [00:21:06] pressure from the Democrats, created a bigger negative [00:21:10] wave for the Republicans, and they probably [00:21:13] tried to control that negative wave of news [00:21:16] from the Strait of Hormuz region [00:21:20] to some extent with a psychological issue, with news fabrication, [00:21:23] but it almost turned into a quagmire for the Americans, [00:21:27] and especially for the Republicans, and they could not really [00:21:30] ride that wave of implicit [00:21:33] and media agreement they had with the Russians [00:21:37] much and achieve their goals. Firstly, again, I say, [00:21:41] in terms of operationalization, its realization [00:21:44] is very much debatable. The negative [00:21:47] wave [00:21:50] that perhaps the Democrats are creating against [00:21:53] the Republicans regarding the agreement with Russia [00:21:57] has more negative consequences for the Republicans in the [00:22:00] current situation. Even the US president a few [00:22:03] hours ago published a message on social media [00:22:07] stating that Russia and Ukraine had agreed to an energy [00:22:11] ceasefire, but a few hours after this statement [00:22:14] by the US president, we saw that these attacks continued [00:22:18] and Ukraine's energy sector was targeted, [00:22:22] which confirms your statement that this framework [00:22:25] that the US is trying to impose is not [00:22:29] a lasting solution. It's [00:22:31] more of a short-term relief and a creation [00:22:35] of a psychological atmosphere within the US [00:22:38] to control energy prices and [00:22:42] the index that everyone refers to daily [00:22:45] for energy prices to at least bring [00:22:49] energy prices around $100. But immediately [00:22:52] I was looking today, American markets that opened, [00:22:56] we again saw a jump in crude oil [00:22:59] prices, which was [00:23:02] due to the fact that this issue was [00:23:05] completely temporary and fleeting. Mr. Khorsand, I ask [00:23:09] this question to the guests of the program, [00:23:12] and I would like to ask you as well: Americans have been insisting [00:23:16] in recent weeks that they have disrupted [00:23:20] the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran over the Strait [00:23:23] of Hormuz, at least, and in some cases, they say [00:23:26] that the strategic importance that the Strait of Hormuz [00:23:30] had from Iran's perspective has been rendered ineffective. [00:23:33] To what extent do you consider this [00:23:37] claim to be correct? Do you reject it? And does the Strait [00:23:41] of Hormuz have this capability to have traffic over it [00:23:45] and for this strategic importance that [00:23:49] it has always had throughout history and has [00:23:52] always maintained to disappear? Look, we need to have a [00:23:55] logical view of this issue. If the players [00:23:59] and interveners who are currently present in the Strait [00:24:03] of Hormuz and need this strait decide to [00:24:06] create alternative routes, then these alternative [00:24:09] routes must have several characteristics: first, they must [00:24:13] be short; second, they must be safe; third, [00:24:16] they must be economically viable. If you want to create [00:24:20] a transit route, you must, of course, follow these [00:24:23] three characteristics so that you can create a safe [00:24:27] environment for the world's economy, because the world [00:24:31] cannot build a long-term economy on uncertainty and insecurity. [00:24:34] All alternative routes to the Strait of Hormuz [00:24:38] have shown, meaning the efforts that our southern [00:24:41] neighbors and sometimes hostile enemies who have come to this [00:24:45] region, extra-regional players, have made many efforts [00:24:49] to create an alternative route for the Strait of Hormuz. [00:24:52] All their efforts have failed [00:24:56] and have shown that there is no alternative [00:24:59] route for the Strait of Hormuz, at least in a timeframe [00:25:02] of, I would say, 50 years, I can [00:25:06] confidently say there is none. Look, [00:25:09] security is a condition, and we have seen that alternative [00:25:13] routes have not been able to provide that energy security [00:25:16] and energy transit for them. After all, the main [00:25:20] players in the region have defined interests for [00:25:24] themselves in this region, and an extra-regional player [00:25:27] cannot guarantee that. At least we saw that [00:25:30] the media reported in recent days [00:25:33] that the price of transiting a single [00:25:37] oil tanker is perhaps higher than [00:25:40] a year's worth of energy consumption for a country. [00:25:43] Well, this is a very vital issue that [00:25:47] will have a profound impact on the future [00:25:51] of energy transfer in the world. And since the world [00:25:54] has a very special need for, as they say, [00:25:57] fossil fuels, everyone, everyone [00:26:00] still, this issue, well, [00:26:03] also creates this situation for us that, in practice, [00:26:07] the Strait of Hormuz is perhaps irremovable [00:26:10] in the short and medium term, and I think the best [00:26:14] proof of your statement is the price of energy [00:26:18] carriers, because if the Strait of Hormuz had been [00:26:21] rendered ineffective, if traffic in the Strait of Hormuz had [00:26:25] returned to before March 9, 2025, then [00:26:29] the prices of energy carriers like oil would also [00:26:32] have declined and would not have been so high. [00:26:36] Look, Mr. Nikbir, I want to refer to the president's [00:26:40] speech at the UN General Assembly. He said a very [00:26:43] correct point. Our neighbors must know and accept [00:26:47] that either this region must [00:26:51] have security in various forms – military security, economic [00:26:54] security, social security – for all [00:26:57] neighbors. Or we must all tolerate [00:27:00] this insecurity. Or we will have [00:27:10] security together. You see, for several decades, the Islamic Republic of Iran, as an anchor [00:27:13] of security in this region, has produced [00:27:16] security in a very extravagant way at a very [00:27:20] high cost, and has provided it as a commodity [00:27:23] to its neighbors and the East and West of the [00:27:25] world. But now, [00:27:29] that we face insecurity, it is very [00:27:34] understandable and acceptable for us as a major regional player. And I [00:27:38] think the president's statement means that if there [00:27:41] is insecurity, it is not only for Iran, and [00:27:45] all neighbors must also share in this [00:27:48] insecurity. Very well, thank you, Mr. Khorsand, expert [00:27:52] on international issues. Thank you for joining us in this discussion. [00:27:56] And thank you, dear viewers, for your attention. Please [00:27:59] stay tuned to the news channel. Thank you, sir. [00:28:25] What reason were you given [00:28:29] these military facilities which by the way we've heard from reporting and even the former [00:28:33] director of the CIA are now rendered [00:28:35] inoperable? [00:28:38] Yeah, the reason was made up, the reason was that it wasn't safe [00:28:41] to bring me to base, but that's just not true. Uh, the [00:28:45] fact of the matter is, I've been in the Iraq War [00:28:49] during the height of the surge. I was brought to [00:28:51] forward operating bases in Afghanistan when the Taliban was [00:28:55] actively. [00:29:06] Dear academics, [00:29:09] the innocent and blameless children who lost their [00:29:12] lives [00:29:15] at Minab school [00:29:18] are evidence and proof [00:29:21] of the criminality of those who claim [00:29:25] democracy, human rights, and I don't know, science and [00:29:29] all that stuff. Now, [00:29:31] this thing you saw is proof that [00:29:35] these things they are talking about [00:29:38] are real. [00:29:41] I am happy to be with you, and I see [00:29:45] Dr. Karimi now. He gave us some fake [00:29:48] compliments, but anyway, we have been with him [00:29:51] for a lifetime in the trenches [00:29:54] and tried, and what these dear ones did at [00:29:58] Tehran Heart Hospital was exceptional. [00:30:01] May God help them to continue. [00:30:04] What I [00:30:07] want to tell [00:30:10] you now, Dr. Aghamiri also [00:30:14] mentioned that we have a project. we have. You [00:30:18] know what situation [00:30:19] we are in. [00:30:23] I believe that the way out of [00:30:26] this situation we are in [00:30:30] is through academics and students. [00:30:37] There is nothing that our elites, our students, and those [00:30:40] who have faith and belief [00:30:44] that they should live with their heads held high [00:30:47] should not bow their heads. When a person has this belief, [00:30:51] they will find a way, especially those who are [00:30:55] knowledgeable, learned, and or seeking knowledge [00:30:59] and wisdom.
