[00:26:40] manipulates the situation with his relationship with Vladimir Putin and
[00:26:42] Russia. Yes, so what does this
[00:26:46] visit bring to Aleksandar Vučić?
[00:26:50] Well, for him, it is a matter of prestige. Let's not
[00:26:53] forget, President Zelensky is one of the most
[00:26:57] recognizable,
[00:27:00] certainly one of the most respected. personalities in
[00:27:04] the world, he holds a very
[00:27:07] prominent place on the world stage, he met with
[00:27:10] President Trump in the Oval Office multiple times, he was
[00:27:14] in the spotlight at the recent NATO summit,
[00:27:18] he was a star where he gave a speech.
[00:27:21] So, for President Vučić, this
[00:27:24] represents recognition and prestige, especially at
[00:27:28] a time when he is further facing
[00:27:31] serious protests and
[00:27:33] widespread opposition from Serbian citizens
[00:27:37] to his rule, so, there is
[00:27:40] a factor of prestige there, but no one should be under
[00:27:44] the illusion that this will somehow
[00:27:47] change Serbia's stance. Even President Vučić
[00:27:51] stated that Serbia will not change its
[00:27:54] stance on sanctions against Russia. So, there should
[00:27:58] be no illusions about that, but despite that,
[00:28:02] this is... still a very significant visit, yes, but how will he
[00:28:06] explain this to his pro-Russian voters who constitute the majority of his
[00:28:09] voters, how will he
[00:28:20] started explaining it, playing
[00:28:23] the Kosovo card and saying, well,
[00:28:27] look, Ukraine does not recognize
[00:28:30] Kosovo, and Kosovo was not present at the meetings in
[00:28:34] Kyiv, so President Vučić will present it that
[00:28:37] way, but that is not an argument, that
[00:28:40] is not a strong argument anywhere, because first of all,
[00:28:44] there is absolutely no comparison
[00:28:46] between the NATO bombing
[00:28:49] in 1999 and Russian actions against Ukraine,

[00:28:56] this harsh, brutal aggression that
[00:29:00] continues with nightly
[00:29:02] bombings of Kyiv with direct targeting of civilian
[00:29:06] targets in Ukraine and civilian
[00:29:09] infrastructure, so that
[00:29:11] argument cannot pass, furthermore,
[00:29:15] when these two cases are compared, Vladimir Putin
[00:29:18] is the one who benefits from such a
[00:29:21] comparison. Vladimir Putin is the one who tries
[00:29:25] to make the argument, look, NATO did that
[00:29:28] to Serbia, I can do that to Ukraine, as some in
[00:29:31] Serbia have noted. This represents a tacit recognition
[00:29:35] of Kosovo by Vladimir Putin, but the German
[00:29:39] Faz states that one of the topics will be the opening, or rather,
[00:29:42] the possibility of building a drone factory in
[00:29:46] Serbia, do you think that is even possible given
[00:29:49] Belgrade's relationship with Moscow, and how
[00:29:52] Moscow would react to

[00:30:05] Serbia previously signed a contract with
[00:30:09] an Israeli company regarding

[00:30:21] Serbs, or all Serbs who harbor
[00:30:25] some support for Russia or Vladimir Putin, should
[00:30:28] reconsider. Russia is a declining state.

[00:30:35] thousands of young Russians to their deaths for a futile
[00:30:39] goal, it is a country that is declining.
[00:30:43] Ukraine, on the other hand, is a globally recognized leader

[00:30:50] reason for those in Serbia who still hold
[00:30:54] some strange pro-Russian
