[00:00:00] the enemy to seek negotiations, the American president at the beginning of the war [00:00:03] wrote two words: "Unconditional surrender, that's what [00:00:07] they demanded from us, that same enemy after about 20 [00:00:11] days pleaded for negotiations in diplomacy, the Iranian nation [00:00:14] showed that it knows very well how to defend its rights. I heard this [00:00:18] from various officials, exactly in these words, you won the [00:00:22] war in [00:00:23] diplomacy. [00:00:30] decapitation, so what now? what comes next? find out, you'll find [00:00:33] out. are you still - massive escalation? is that still on the table? well, we have [00:00:37] that certainly that ability if we want to do that. yeah, you'll find out. you said you're low [00:00:41] keying it with them, you're semi-negotiating. what exactly does that [00:00:44] mean? uh, they ask [00:00:47] for uh, reparations, you might say, or they [00:00:50] ask for uh, money for the damage that [00:00:54] we've done. i said, that's a good idea. well, we're going to ask for money for the damage they've done over a [00:00:58] 50-year period. whether you go ss col or whether you go all of [00:01:02] the people that were so badly [00:01:04] Haris Mrkonja, you're watching sports news on hurt, so badly wounded or killed, many thousands of people, [00:01:08] we've mind swept the entire straight, as you [00:01:11] probably maybe heard, maybe you didn't here, but uh, [00:01:14] but uh, we control the straight [00:01:17] 100%. now, can they make trouble? yeah, they can make [00:01:21] trouble, but they're broke, [00:01:24] that dialogue they have no money, youran is broke, totally [00:01:26] broke, [00:01:28] in the latest wave. Conflicts [00:01:32] the city between Russia and Ukraine have killed at least twelve people, while dozens have been injured. [00:01:35] The Zaporizhzhia region was the hardest hit. Explosions [00:01:38] echoed in Kyiv, where a children's hospital was damaged, and [00:01:42] President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Moscow of using North [00:01:46] Korean ballistic missiles. On the other hand, Ukraine has intensified [00:01:49] attacks deep into Russian territory. In the Voronezh [00:01:52] region, drones set fire to the logistics center of the retail [00:01:56] giant Wildberries, killing one person. [00:02:00] also confirmed attacks on oil infrastructure in the Orenburg [00:02:03] region, about 1500 km from the front [00:02:06] line. [00:02:11] Periods of extreme heat are becoming more frequent, intense and [00:02:14] prolonged, as climate change warms [00:02:17] the planet, the World Meteorological Organization announced. Parts [00:02:20] of Europe are experiencing their fifth [00:02:23] heatwave this summer, accompanied by drought, forest fires and [00:02:26] record temperatures. Experts point out that the current [00:02:30] heat is the result of a prolonged high pressure system and [00:02:33] multi-decade global [00:02:36] between Kosovo and Serbia. And to warming. Very warm sea and dry soil further raise [00:02:39] temperatures, creating a basis for long-term heat [00:02:42] retention over large [00:02:43] areas. [00:02:48] the Mediterranean has been incredibly warm as have the waters [00:02:52] um to the west of Europe as well, we see marine heat waves [00:02:55] and those marine heat waves also feed into the kind of heat we're seeing over the [00:02:59] land because the back part of the background warmth that this kind of high [00:03:02] pressure systems are building on. in addition to that with the dry [00:03:06] soil um we're also seeing now um it's [00:03:10] kind of generally the case i should say that um when soil is [00:03:13] wet it's harder to warm up and as that soil dries out it becomes much [00:03:17] easier for the weather situation to [00:03:21] warm the land up and then warm the air up so lots of these kind of [00:03:24] factors are kind of coming together to see give us the record heat that we're seeing [00:03:28] um this year. [00:03:32] Apart from the thick shade in the forest there is no healthy place to [00:03:36] stay, it's not easy for many to get there, it's difficult for everyone [00:03:39] during the day, especially at [00:03:41] night. [00:03:44] The heat is still ongoing, and the highest daily temperatures range [00:03:47] between 34 and 40 degrees [00:03:50] Celsius. High temperatures also bring health problems, but [00:03:54] citizens still try to enjoy the [00:03:57] summer days. We endure the sea. We simply have [00:04:00] no other choice, I think so, of course, we hide in the shade, [00:04:03] definitely, I'm not crazy to go out in the sun now in the greatest heat, [00:04:07] but that's how it goes, let there be more [00:04:11] warmth, winter is long in Sarajevo, I can't stand it at all, [00:04:15] I'm dying, suffering, silently, and what should I do when I have [00:04:18] to go out, I really recommend to older [00:04:21] people like me not to go out unnecessarily, [00:04:24] they make themselves uncomfortable [00:04:27] when healthy. Well, for this weather [00:04:31] it's okay, summer is summer, isn't it? Doctors warn that high [00:04:34] temperatures affect the body. Due to tropical [00:04:37] nights, many cannot even sleep, and the consequences [00:04:41] are exhaustion, increased nervousness, weaker [00:04:43] concentration, and higher energy consumption. [00:04:47] They advise cooling rooms, but avoiding [00:04:50] large temperature differences. We darken that room [00:04:53] during the day to ventilate it during [00:04:57] the evening hours, we try to cool it to some optimal... [00:05:00] ratio, to use light materials for [00:05:04] bedding and of course, if air [00:05:07] conditioning units are used today, [00:05:10] the room should be cooled to some optimal temperature, never [00:05:14] too low. Adequate fluid intake is one [00:05:18] of the basic preventive measures during hot days, [00:05:21] but it is also important to eat plenty of fresh fruit and [00:05:24] vegetables. This will contribute [00:05:27] to an easier feeling in the body, less [00:05:30] body heating uh and uh then [00:05:34] also easier sleep. Fried food, [00:05:37] fatty food, foods that [00:05:40] heat up such as red [00:05:43] pepper, ginger, cinnamon [00:05:46] should be avoided. A cool-down is expected only in the middle [00:05:49] of next week. Until then, shade, plenty of fluids, [00:05:53] enjoying the summer, but with extra [00:05:57] caution. [00:06:00] Next, watch the sports [00:06:02] news. [00:10:00] forecast. [00:10:04] From tomorrow, we expect a slight drop in temperature. A slightly [00:10:07] cooler air mass is moving from Central Europe towards the Balkans [00:10:11] and will bring a slight drop in temperature tomorrow. [00:10:15] Cloudiness will increase, and in some mountainous areas there will [00:10:18] be conditions for local showers. In the coming [00:10:21] hours, the wind will shift to northerly and strengthen, [00:10:25] with possible showers and thunderstorms in some far northern areas. On [00:10:28] Wednesday, the weather will be variable and cloudy, with rain or local [00:10:32] showers and thunderstorms expected in mountainous areas. [00:10:36] A moderate, occasionally strong northerly wind will blow. The minimum [00:10:39] temperature in Bosnia will be up to 20°, warmer in the south [00:10:42] up to 27°. The maximum tomorrow will be from [00:10:46] 32 degrees to 39°. [00:10:49] From Thursday, mostly [00:10:53] sunny. On Thursday and Friday, the temperature will be up to 33 [00:10:56] degrees, in the south we expect up to [00:10:58] 37, for the weekend then even a little warmer, [00:11:02] the heat, according to current forecasts, will last at least [00:11:06] another seven [00:11:06] days. [00:11:12] And that's all for the news, dear viewers, thank you for your attention, have a pleasant [00:11:15] evening. [00:11:50] Good evening, you are watching N1 news, I am Maja Žežilj, this is [00:11:54] the story of the day. [00:11:57] The fire in Peščara is under control, but the one at Stolovi near [00:12:01] Kraljevo is still burning. [00:12:04] Work is being done to bring it under control and [00:12:07] localize it. In Peščara, up to 3,000 [00:12:11] hectares burned. The consequences will only be assessed later. [00:12:14] I think the irreversible damage has already been done. [00:12:18] napravljena. [00:12:21] And these are the other news topics in the daily. [00:12:27] In Gornji Milanovac, water restrictions were officially [00:12:30] introduced. In the village of Vrnjčani, there has been no water [00:12:34] for two weeks. Higher parts of the city, I say, for [00:12:37] several hours, uh, have no [00:12:40] water. And in Čačak, the ban on watering gardens, washing streets, and [00:12:44] cars is in [00:12:45] force. [00:12:49] Diplomatic storm over Vučić's idea of diverting the [00:12:53] Ibar. The state. [00:12:55] These statements do not contribute to the goal of establishing normal relations [00:13:01] that, you reacted promptly. To [00:13:03] protect your Albanian [00:13:05] lackeys. [00:13:09] Student attacked in Novi Sad. At one [00:13:12] point I thought I was going to lose consciousness, that it was over, [00:13:16] simply for me, that I would end my [00:13:19] life in that elevator. Four days later, police [00:13:23] and prosecution without answers to questions about the search for [00:13:26] the attacker, [00:13:29] tomorrow's temperature up to 36 degrees in the mountains [00:13:33] possible [00:13:33] showers. [00:13:38] Prolonged drought and high temperatures are taking their [00:13:42] toll. In Serbia, the fight against fire has been going on for days, [00:13:45] daily between [00:13:48] 130-140 [00:13:50] fires break out. These are data from the sector for emergency [00:13:53] situations. The extinguishing operation continues today on [00:13:57] Mount Stolovi where it is most critical, due to strong [00:14:00] winds the fire spread below the town of [00:14:03] Šošanica, so far more than 200 hectares of grass and low vegetation [00:14:07] have burned, extinguishing is hampered by [00:14:10] inaccessible and steep terrain, extremely strong [00:14:13] wind and high temperatures. In [00:14:16] Deliblatska Peščara it is better, the fire is under control, [00:14:19] but it is still active around Šumarak and [00:14:23] Dubovac. There, the bigger problem was to protect [00:14:26] the population and buildings, work is underway to build [00:14:30] a fire line. Previously, the Government of Serbia announced that [00:14:34] 23 open-air fires were active in Serbia and that all available [00:14:37] human and technical capacities were engaged at those [00:14:40] locations. Fires were detected in the areas of Sremska [00:14:44] Mitrovica, Kraljevo, Leskovac, Prijepolje, [00:14:47] Belgrade, Šabac, Prokuplje, Bor, Pančevo and [00:14:50] Zaječar. [00:14:53] Bearing in mind. "uh the situation from a few [00:14:57] days ago when there were 64, when there [00:15:01] were 64 active hotspots, [00:15:04] uh, yesterday that number was approximately [00:15:08] reduced to uh three [00:15:12] parts, i.e. three hotspots, [00:15:16] uh, the situation is better, but it is [00:15:19] still very difficult, uh, there is still [00:15:22] a serious fire, I would say in the area." there are tables [00:15:26] uh and work is being done there to [00:15:29] bring it under control and localize it and prevent it from spreading [00:15:33] to uh complexes of coniferous forests. [00:15:38] Although the authorities state that it is under control, the situation in [00:15:42] Deliblatska Peščara is still difficult. The N1 team [00:15:45] filmed what the fight to prevent the fire from getting out of [00:15:49] control again looks like, and what the consequences of the fire in this [00:15:52] special nature [00:15:53] reserve are. [00:15:56] Coincidentally, but at this very time, 10 years ago [00:15:59] Deliblatska Peščara also burned. In the fire that [00:16:03] broke out on August 10, 1996, [00:16:06] the fire devoured 3815 [00:16:09] hectares, which is considered the largest forest fire in our [00:16:13] recent history. [00:16:16] Unfortunately, the fire that is now raging is not far from that, because according [00:16:20] to data from Vojvodina Šume, so far 2,500 to even [00:16:24] 3,000 hectares have burned, of which forests occupied 700 [00:16:27] hectares, while the rest was low vegetation, i.e. grass [00:16:31] and bushes. Currently, everything is being done to keep it that way. [00:16:35] sve da na tome i ostane. [00:16:38] Everyone on the ground is giving their best, firefighters from the Ministry [00:16:41] of Internal Affairs, but also [00:16:43] volunteers. I grew up here, [00:16:46] I extinguished several dozens of fires [00:16:50] in Deliblatska Peščara, what happened now, no one has ever [00:16:53] experienced this, people who extinguished fires in '96 [00:16:56] and 2007 have not experienced this. What happened now, [00:16:59] nature is just returning what we do [00:17:03] to it. [00:17:06] And when it returns. Nature is merciless. This [00:17:09] is what the burned part of Peščara looks like today. [00:17:13] Burned trees, a pile of ash, and only a few [00:17:16] crowns that are green. [00:17:20] What you are seeing now is the creation of so-called fire breaks [00:17:24] or clearings, and it is done when water from land or air [00:17:28] is simply not enough to extinguish the fire. Then [00:17:31] it is necessary to practically create a perimeter that is far enough from [00:17:35] the epicenter of the fire, but is [00:17:37] wide enough. If you have a crown fire, i.e. a high fire when [00:17:41] the crowns of pine trees burn, it is [00:17:44] very difficult to control. That strip must be wide enough so that [00:17:48] if a tree falls, it does not transfer the fire to this protected [00:17:52] zone. However, nature, let's repeat, [00:17:55] is merciless, so even if a tree doesn't fall, something [00:17:59] else could fall, for example, a pine [00:18:02] cone. Pine cones in their seeds contain a very large [00:18:05] amount of [00:18:08] fuel which, when ignited, explodes, and the pine cone itself explodes, and [00:18:12] then, like a bomb, flies several dozen [00:18:15] meters and, being ignited, can cause new [00:18:18] fires. [00:18:21] Until the smallest spark is extinguished, the consequences of this [00:18:25] fire will not be known, but already biologists [00:18:28] fear that many rare animal and plant [00:18:31] species may have truly lost their home. There [00:18:35] you have so many valuable plants. [00:18:37] I don't know some examples now, I will definitely forget to mention the peony, [00:18:41] Banat peony, and then you have the cross-leaved [00:18:45] milkwort, you have, you even have a wetland habitat, Labudovo okno, which is [00:18:48] internationally protected, which is very [00:18:51] important for all migratory birds, and a huge [00:18:54] number of birds specifically use that habitat, meaning [00:18:57] you will irreversibly lose some species that are even important on a European or [00:19:01] global level and it will take [00:19:04] decades for nature to return to this place. [00:19:08] i.e. to recover, of course nature will, as they say, [00:19:11] bounce back, it will come back somehow, but unfortunately, I think the [00:19:14] irreversible damage has already been done. [00:19:17] The Public Enterprise Vojvodina Šume, which among other things manages the forests [00:19:21] of Deliblatska Peščara, is obliged by the Law on [00:19:24] Forests, three months after extinguishing the fire, [00:19:27] to prepare a remediation plan, [00:19:29] and then, after all the burned trees are removed, [00:19:33] to start planting new ones. Maja Nikolić [00:19:36] N1, Belgrade. [00:19:39] In addition to fires, this summer brought water restrictions. In [00:19:43] Gornji Milanovac, as of today, 12-hour restrictions [00:19:46] have officially begun. [00:19:50] Residents of Gornji Milanovac in August do not look at [00:19:53] the thermometer, but the taps. Water [00:19:57] shortage has become a chronic problem for this city in western [00:20:00] Serbia. It turned out to be the first city to [00:20:04] introduce water restrictions. We have this, we go and draw this. "in [00:20:07] the cistern there to drive home for livestock and so on and for [00:20:10] drinking and for the nursery, Gornji Milanovac again introduced [00:20:13] water restrictions, so [00:20:16] probably it's needed then, it's better [00:20:19] for them to fix it so that it comes when it comes, all of you here, [00:20:23] yes, what will we do, I'll buy water to drink, [00:20:27] and we'll figure it out somehow, the water [00:20:31] tanker with drinking water has been in the city center for the past few days, even before [00:20:34] the water cutoffs started, restrictions were unofficially introduced [00:20:37] several days ago, although there was an announcement from the municipal [00:20:41] utility company that there would be no restrictions, however, citizens started [00:20:44] complaining intensely on social media that for several hours, and even for [00:20:48] several days, they have no water, for example, in the village [00:20:52] of Vrnjčani, there has been no water for two weeks, [00:20:55] uh, higher parts of the city, I say, for several [00:20:58] hours, have no water. The problem of water shortage [00:21:02] is not unknown to the people of Milanovac, and the authorities in [00:21:06] this city say they know what the problem is: [00:21:08] watering gardens and filling pools. The [00:21:12] municipality says that Gornji Milanovac receives enough [00:21:16] water from the Rzav water intake, but that the problem [00:21:20] is in irrational consumption. They say [00:21:23] that if water were used rationally, [00:21:27] restrictions would not have been introduced. However, they [00:21:30] say that despite the appeals they sent to the residents [00:21:33] of Gornji Milanovac, this did not happen, and they had [00:21:37] to introduce water restrictions. Two years ago, Gornji Milanovac was [00:21:40] under water restrictions for three months in an emergency [00:21:44] situation. During September, the situation was [00:21:48] most critical, certain parts of the city and schools [00:21:51] operated with minimal amounts of water, while higher [00:21:54] parts of the city and suburban settlements were completely dry [00:21:57] for days. Nenad Božević, N1 Gornji [00:22:00] Milanovac. [00:22:04] And water problems in Čačak, which [00:22:06] also gets its water [00:22:08] from the RZV system. In Čačak, a ban was introduced [00:22:12] on watering parks, gardens, orchards, agricultural crops, and [00:22:16] washing streets and vehicles with water from [00:22:22] water supply is also prohibited. [00:22:24] vodovoda. [00:22:28] continuation of the daily and this [00:22:29] story. [00:22:33] Serbs and Albanians disagree on the announced [00:22:36] withdrawal of KFOR from the bridge on [00:22:38] the Ibar. [00:22:41] It's in the west's interest and it's all planned. It's better to have, it's better to [00:22:44] have it anyway. Better, safer. These barriers, I don't [00:22:47] like them. [00:22:51] And before the Ibar Bridge, the story of shifting the [00:22:55] course of the Ibar. [00:22:58] A diplomatic storm was caused by the announcement of the Serbian president that he would [00:23:01] divert the course of the Ibar river. Although at first hearing [00:23:05] it seemed like a message for internal political [00:23:08] use, the story of the Ibar River soon became [00:23:12] much more. [00:23:15] Stop, stop, Ibar water. Why are you rushing so much, [00:23:18] the song says. The Ibar has not asked much until now where it is [00:23:22] rushing, it followed its course, from its source in Montenegro, [00:23:25] entered Serbia, from where it crossed [00:23:28] administrative lines and returned. The President [00:23:32] of Serbia announces that the Ibar will stop and turn away from [00:23:35] Kosovo. After the demolition of the Vikindica on Lake Gazivode, [00:23:38] the diversion of the river is being considered, he says. Since they are [00:23:42] harassing our people so much, let's see, we have different reasons for [00:23:45] changing the watercourse of the Ibar, so we will [00:23:48] see what happens. Albanians, how will they behave, what would [00:23:52] happen if the Ibar were diverted? By damming [00:23:55] this river, Lake Gazivode was created, which for all people who [00:23:59] live in Kosovo is not an ordinary lake, it [00:24:02] provides drinking water for about a third of the population and [00:24:05] cooling for thermal power plants that produce about [00:24:08] 95% of the electricity there. [00:24:12] Unilateral intervention in cross-border flows would have consequences that would far [00:24:16] exceed the technical issue, as it would jeopardize water, energy, [00:24:20] environmental, and human security of our republic. Therefore, our [00:24:23] diplomats should inform the capitals where they serve about these statements and [00:24:27] inform the host governments about the nature and consequences of this [00:24:30] absurd, but also threatening idea. I'm not threatening [00:24:33] anyone at all, why would I threaten anyone, I am solving watercourses on [00:24:37] the territory of the Republic of Serbia, bye [00:24:40] son, I am solving watercourses on [00:24:43] the territory of the Republic of Serbia in accordance with the internal [00:24:47] law of the Republic of Serbia. And what about international water [00:24:50] law? The International Commission for the Protection of the Danube, [00:24:54] of which the Ibar is part of the basin, confirms to N1 that this river [00:24:58] falls under the framework of the Danube Convention. However, they cannot [00:25:01] comment on any hypothetical [00:25:05] scenario. Questions regarding legal requirements applicable to [00:25:08] a specific project, including whether the project could have [00:25:12] cross-border consequences or would imply an obligation to notify, [00:25:16] consult, or assess environmental impact, must be [00:25:19] considered by the competent authorities and evaluated in accordance with the applicable legal [00:25:23] framework. Experts assess that Vučić's announcement [00:25:27] is an impossible undertaking. To a professor of hydrology and [00:25:29] hydrotechnics, it seems as if the president was walking in [00:25:33] his sleep while talking about diverting the Ibar. That is [00:25:36] somnambulism and it has nothing to do with anything for two reasons. Firstly, it is [00:25:40] impossible to carry out in a short time, and without demolishing hills and mountains. [00:25:44] Secondly, it simply cannot happen, Europe must approve it. [00:25:48] The European Commission, instead of changing the river's [00:25:51] course, recommends changing the [00:25:54] approach. Such statements, including those about possible [00:25:58] changes to the river's course through certain actions, do not [00:26:02] contribute to the goal of establishing normal relations between Kosovo [00:26:05] only through dialogue. The creator of the hypothetical scenario today [00:26:09] still lowers the ball, says that analyzes [00:26:13] that will take time are yet to come. I said that we would [00:26:16] form a commission, a working group, and then we'll see everything for [00:26:19] months and so on. The issue of Ibra must be [00:26:22] resolved through cooperation because it concerns all the people who live [00:26:26] there, says an expert from Zubin Potok. Maybe it's [00:26:30] premature and maybe it's too strong. The message given in the midst of [00:26:33] this political turmoil in Serbia, however, [00:26:37] this topic must come to the table, this topic must be negotiated, I hope [00:26:40] in more diplomatic [00:26:43] so to speak Chatham House, i.e. diplomatic silent [00:26:46] negotiations rather than in the public sphere, this topic is heavily exploited in [00:26:50] populist narratives. Serbia [00:26:52] will soon face parliamentary elections, a time when political [00:26:56] tensions in the region traditionally additionally [00:27:00] rise. Miodrag Sovilj, N1. [00:27:02] Belgrade, and the idea of changing the course of the Ibar, [00:27:06] which came from the President of Serbia, reached Brussels, which [00:27:10] redirects this situation to normalization of relations [00:27:14] dialogue, Aleksandar Vučić asks for clarification from [00:27:18] the European Commission. [00:27:20] And my question to the spokesperson of the European Commission, do you mean [00:27:26] on which you even put your signature on the formation [00:27:29] of the community of Serb municipalities, do you mean that dialogue? "Do you mean [00:27:33] the non-existence of dialogue, your reaction to the daily arrests [00:27:36] of Serbs, to the daily mistreatment of Serbs, to [00:27:39] the daily persecution of Serbs, to the demolition of Serbian houses, is that what you mean [00:27:43] and you reacted promptly, [00:27:46] to protect your Albanian obedient servants and [00:27:50] to tell them once again: "Continue to commit [00:27:52] crimes." And unlike the imagined change [00:27:56] in the course of the Ibar, real changes are happening on the bridge over [00:27:59] this river in Mitrovica, Kfor forces. Kfor is [00:28:02] withdrawing its forces, and the President of Serbia explains that General [00:28:06] Mojsilović had, as he said, the worst conversation with [00:28:10] the Kfor commander who informed him that the Kosovo Police would [00:28:14] work together with the mission led by [00:28:17] NATO. The situation on the bridge, reactions from [00:28:20] Mitrovica, reports N1 reporter, Zana [00:28:23] Cimili. Behind me, as before, [00:28:27] there is a patrol of Italian Carabinieri. However, [00:28:30] the folding pavilion used by [00:28:34] KFOR members has been removed. The gradual transfer of competencies [00:28:37] from KFOR to the Kosovo Police is explained by the improvement [00:28:41] of the security situation, as well as the previously announced [00:28:45] optimization of troop deployment in Kosovo. [00:28:48] On the south side of the bridge, a KFOR patrol can also be seen [00:28:52] with parked Kosovo Police vehicles. [00:28:56] Citizens we spoke to have different [00:28:59] opinions, but among Serbs, the prevailing view is [00:29:02] that... KFOR should remain present on the bridge, it's better to have a choir, [00:29:06] it's better to have it anyway, better, safer, I think everything will [00:29:09] be fine, now this people [00:29:13] should approach each other, socialize, [00:29:15] live together, that's the chaos of the West and everything is [00:29:19] planned, we want and should live as [00:29:22] we used to live, meaning there are no [00:29:25] obstacles, [00:29:27] they don't agree [00:29:30] with. No, these barriers, I don't [00:29:34] like these barriers, it [00:29:37] should be free and [00:29:41] bridges are for connecting people, not for separating, [00:29:45] even though the bridge was a place of frequent tensions for years [00:29:48] after the war, in the last decade the situation [00:29:52] was mostly peaceful, the bridge was used for [00:29:55] pedestrians, cyclists while it remained closed [00:29:59] for road traffic, the Minister of Internal Affairs... [00:30:03] Svećla assessed the decision as good news [00:30:06] and again announced the opening of the bridge to [00:30:08] traffic. [00:30:13] This is a short-term process that will provide guarantees to everyone that the [00:30:17] opening of the bridge will be for the benefit of all without negative consequences for [00:30:20] anyone. The moment will come when the next steps will be announced [00:30:24] and when they will be implemented, as this process is being implemented today, and [00:30:28] what once represented a concern, but a symbol of division will remain only [00:30:32] within itself. Let us recall, Kosovo and Serbia agreed back in [00:30:35] 2014, within the dialogue on normalization of [00:30:38] relations, that the bridge should be open to traffic, [00:30:42] however, despite later agreements and works on [00:30:45] revitalization, its opening never [00:30:49] happened. After failing to open the existing main bridge, the Government [00:30:52] of Kosovo built two more bridges in its [00:30:56] immediate vicinity, one intended for pedestrians and...
