[00:17:43] Herzegovina, and in 2014. The company Tipos Resurs, led by
[00:17:47] the Xincag spouses, delivered about 100 tons of waste to a company in Derventa,
[00:17:51] which was classified as mixed, non-hazardous. However,
[00:17:55] the environmental inspection of Republika Srpska found medical waste in it, which is prohibited
[00:17:59] by regulations. Due to this, a certain amount was returned to the Croatian company,
[00:18:02] and the authorities there at the time explicitly claimed that there was no danger to

[00:18:13] tons is unknown. The case from Derventa became even

[00:18:27] into our country is actually processed
[00:18:30] waste converted into fuel, that's what's
[00:18:33] imported for the needs of two cement factories in this, in Bosnia
[00:18:37] and Herzegovina, that's RDF, as far as I know,
[00:18:40] some 60,000 tons have been imported into Bosnia and
[00:18:43] Herzegovina, illegal waste is certainly imported, but these flows are
[00:18:47] almost impossible to track, according to Lemeš. Such cases
[00:18:50] certainly exist in Bosnia and Herzegovina, given the porous
[00:18:54] borders and given the lack of capacity of our
[00:18:57] institutions to carry out control, especially
[00:19:01] laboratory control.

[00:19:37] ecological risks at 34 locations, so primarily we have
[00:19:41] a problem that has been going on for decades with the tar
[00:19:45] pit in Modriča, this is a type of hazardous
[00:19:48] waste that has been stored there and which has already
[00:19:52] created, so to speak, these problems which today
[00:19:55] are not at all known how big these problems are created for the local
[00:19:59] population, we note that houses were built there, it developed, settlements

[00:24:18] challenges in the areas of employment, housing, and
[00:24:21] healthcare, which is why it is necessary to create public
[00:24:25] policies based on research and the real needs of young people,
[00:24:29] it was stated in Sarajevo at the presentation of the key messages
[00:24:32] of the platform's campaign M1 Rights for
[00:24:35] Youth. There is a lot of talk about young people, but few
[00:24:38] approach this topic studiously, researching with
[00:24:42] concrete research with concrete data
[00:24:46] on what young people actually need and few actually create
[00:24:50] concrete public policies that exclusively concern young people,
[00:24:53] M1, has found its place here to offer
[00:24:57] its knowledge so that we can, which we can offer to decision-makers,
[00:25:01] so that they can take everything that we do, i.e., all the recommendations that
[00:25:04] we create, for young people, for their better position in Bosnia
[00:25:08] and Herzegovina, so that they can take all of that. they could somehow implement
[00:25:12] in reality through their
[00:25:15] mandates,
[00:25:17] we believe it's time for political... mm public programs
[00:25:21] public policies to pay attention to education that
[00:25:25] it deserves. We want to open a public dialogue on what
[00:25:28] education in Bosnia and Herzegovina looks like today, what it should
[00:25:32] look like today to offer what are the specific solutions that can
[00:25:36] be done at different levels
[00:25:38] of government.
[00:25:42] We at M1 are precisely striving to give young people
[00:25:45] space to learn, to socialize, to
[00:25:49] advocate. to talk to decision-makers and finally to
[00:25:52] create policies that actually concern them, that's
[00:25:55] why we call on young people not to be observers of political
[00:25:59] processes, inform yourselves, get involved, ask... and
[00:26:02] demand accountability, because your vote is not important only on election
[00:26:06] day.
[00:26:09] Due to the refusal to join the new digitalization process, numerous
[00:26:12] instructors and owners of driving schools from Tuzla Canton protested
[00:26:16] in front of the relevant ministry. As many as 300 candidates are currently waiting
[00:26:20] to take the driving test because their schools
[00:26:23] have not entered the new system. A new protest is announced for
[00:26:26] tomorrow.
[00:26:29] Driving instructors and driving school owners reiterated that they are against
[00:26:33] digitalization for taking driving tests, but as far as they are concerned,
[00:26:36] that decision has no legal basis, they do not want the Ministry of Education and
[00:26:40] Science of Tuzla Canton to put them under its complete
[00:26:43] control. After all, I am a private company, I have controls of all inspections,
[00:26:47] I have controls of the ministry, I have everything, now I should additionally
[00:26:51] do double and digitalization and plus
[00:26:54] what we would say "on foot", as we have done so far, meaning we do double work, for
[00:26:57] me to do that, I must have at least one more employed alternative
[00:27:01] worker. Doctors reject accusations that they are committing irregularities with
[00:27:04] the number of classes, working hours, number of candidates, emphasizing that
[00:27:08] the ministry has insight into their work,
[00:27:11] the ministry that says that abuse
[00:27:14] is happening, that in various ways
[00:27:18] help is provided, they are actually undermining what they
[00:27:22] are doing, because they conduct examinations, the instructor does not
[00:27:25] conduct examinations, the instructor finishes training the candidate and then sends him to the exam and has
[00:27:29] nothing to do with the examination, he is examined by a commission,
[00:27:32] the commission is made up of people who are in the ministry, is it perhaps a crime for
[00:27:35] this period how people entered the software, that
[00:27:39] certificates for 20 hours are issued through
[00:27:42] the software, so now we ask, from the mandatory
[00:27:45] 28, is it through the rulebook, so we ask who here
[00:27:48] is stealing hours, who is actually not working as the regulation
[00:27:52] dictates. The ministry insists that the maintenance of classes and
[00:27:56] other segments when it comes to
[00:27:59] taking driving tests be controlled through the information system. I must have information that the
[00:28:03] classes were held, in what extent, who held
[00:28:06] the classes and so on, because in our supervision
[00:28:09] we found that the record keeping
[00:28:12] of classes in the previous records was not
[00:28:15] regular, that dates are being corrected, that
[00:28:19] times are being corrected when classes were held and
[00:28:22] so on. One of the problems that is older than the software is the price
[00:28:26] of training and taking the driving test. We had a meeting where
[00:28:30] the representatives of driving schools explicitly asked us
[00:28:34] to protect us, meaning to determine a protective price and that
[00:28:37] price lists be made public so that we would have transparent
[00:28:41] loyal competition, there is free price formation, but
[00:28:45] it cannot be drastic that someone shows that the entire
[00:28:48] system including various fees that
[00:28:52] need to be paid is 670, and that candidates are
[00:28:55] charged 1,500 or 1,300.
[00:28:58] In the meantime, about 700 candidates since June 1st have entered the
[00:29:02] system, that is, more than 15 driving schools that have accepted
[00:29:05] the software, the rest are
[00:29:08] training maybe five months ago,
[00:29:12] it really takes a long time, it's really not fair
[00:29:15] this torment for both candidates
[00:29:18] and instructors and
[00:29:22] everyone who deals with it. Nearly 30
[00:29:26] candidates who are waiting to pass this theoretical part are not taking the
[00:29:30] exam. And I have five or six candidates from management who are also
[00:29:34] waiting since June 1st, who applied after June 1st, and they are all
[00:29:37] waiting. Both driving school representatives and the minister claim that they want a compromise and
[00:29:41] a solution, however, neither side deviates from their stated
[00:29:44] positions while future drivers are not getting behind
