[00:00:00] new for a new university campus, the public, given that the end of the [00:00:03] mandate is approaching, expects concrete results, but clear answers. We will [00:00:07] talk about this with the Prime Minister of the Canton of Sarajevo [00:00:24] Today, a state of natural disaster was declared, and [00:00:27] international aid was requested. How much can the canton of Sara... help Konjic at [00:00:31] this moment? Well, last Friday, immediately in a [00:00:34] record mm time, when the [00:00:38] need arose through the federal administration for civil [00:00:41] protection, which called our civil protection. The Government of Canton [00:00:44] Sarajevo had a session where we sent mm [00:00:47] our vehicles and our crew as assistance [00:00:51] to colleagues in Konjic itself. Unfortunately, the information [00:00:54] I'm following through the media [00:00:58] shows that it is quite a serious fire, [00:01:01] that without international help, [00:01:04] without mm a larger squadron [00:01:08] mm of means and other [00:01:11] material needs, that fire will not be stopped. So, unfortunately, we waited [00:01:15] seven days, right? Approximately [00:01:18] today, today is the seventh day since it started [00:01:21] to smoke in the areas [00:01:24] of Konjic. Now, if the helicopter that the Ministry [00:01:28] of Internal Affairs of Canton Sarajevo acquired were there, how much could it [00:01:32] help and why is it not help a lot, so it's [00:01:35] a multi-purpose helicopter that has, I think, [00:01:39] three times more water it can [00:01:42] carry for firefighting than the regular ones [00:01:45] used in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mm, for [00:01:48] simple reasons, because mm it still needs [00:01:52] certain technical technical additions [00:01:55] in the Czech Republic itself, where the country of delivery of vehicles [00:01:59] or... aircraft, insurance, or [00:02:02] registration of the same mm the crew itself that [00:02:06] needs to mm be mm [00:02:10] hired by the government of Canton Sarajevo and where the tender [00:02:14] has been announced, parallel to that, since we are establishing a helicopter [00:02:17] unit, they have been training for a long time, [00:02:20] they will be part of the program with new, [00:02:24] i.e. staff who will be available in the coming months [00:02:28] so that they can acquire... sufficient flight hours, [00:02:32] so these are all procedural things that we knew about. Canton Sarajevo still doesn't have [00:02:36] a crew ready to independently take over the helicopter, yes, yes, [00:02:39] so that's something that all of us knew from the beginning. [00:02:43] We are establishing a helicopter unit for the first time, and according [00:02:46] to all rules and according to all certificates, certain [00:02:50] pilots need to have a certain number of hours [00:02:53] on certain aircraft, so when can citizens expect [00:02:57] that this helicopter will be, therefore, stationed in the canton [00:03:00] of Sarajevo in full function with local staff? In full [00:03:04] function, it will be in the coming weeks, so once it is [00:03:07] completed. Well, let's say in the next month, I don't know how long [00:03:10] Paris, when the périphérique was being built, [00:03:11] planned, but we have the public procurement of vehicle insurance, public procurement of additional [00:03:15] crew hiring will take, but the citizens of Canton Sarajevo literally in [00:03:19] the coming with local staff, uh, a certain, or rather [00:03:22] crew? I don't know exactly how many hours need to happen, [00:03:26] but it doesn't matter, what matters is that the helicopter itself is available to citizens. [00:03:32] about young people, VAT refund on Will the crew cost the canton or [00:03:35] its citizens a lot? It will, so it will definitely cost, these are things that [00:03:38] we knew would happen and must happen, so from the moment [00:03:42] a city, a region, a country establishes a helicopter [00:03:46] unit, these are all procedures that must [00:03:50] happen, that they have a certain number of flight hours on [00:03:53] one aircraft, and [00:03:56] a lack of certain incentives that were at parallel to that, in order to prepare that helicopter from the [00:04:00] hangars, mm, it will be used by the [00:04:04] mm hired crew. [00:04:07] The most important thing is, I emphasize once again, that the citizens of Canton Sarajevo and Bosnia and [00:04:11] Herzegovina will have that helicopter at their disposal for God forbid, from [00:04:14] these situations that are happening today in Herzegovina, and [00:04:18] this would certainly be part of the help [00:04:21] in greater material means and vehicles at this [00:04:25] moment than what we were in previous [00:04:28] industry must rest are at years or. decades, as it was in Canton [00:04:31] Sarajevo, today is Youth Day, the cantonal government has [00:04:35] approved uh the first employment program, [00:04:39] my right, how many young people do you expect to go through [00:04:43] this program, and how will their previous successes actually be evaluated, who will have [00:04:46] the right to receive [00:04:50] support within this program, uh yes, [00:04:53] so a large number of programs through the employment service of Canton [00:04:57] Sarajevo, the government is placed on the labor market. One of [00:05:00] those programs is my right, practically, mm [00:05:04] an internship that is made available to [00:05:08] all young people who are entering [00:05:11] employment mm for the first time. In previous [00:05:14] years, we increased the budget execution of the employment [00:05:18] service, so this immediately results in [00:05:21] numbers that we can be proud of. Mm, as [00:05:25] recently, I saw that data in 2019, [00:05:29] in the Canton of Sarajevo, there were about [00:05:31] 153,000 employed people, [00:05:34] some 58,000 [00:05:37] unemployed people. So, I took that period before before Corona so that there [00:05:41] wouldn't be any mistake. In calculation and comparison, mm today [00:05:45] it is mm 12,000 difference, so in favor of [00:05:48] employed and in favor of unemployed people, fewer [00:05:52] unemployed, so that new, but employers often [00:05:55] claim that they lack qualified labor, while on the other hand, [00:05:59] young people uh claim that it is actually very [00:06:03] difficult for them to get a job without [00:06:05] experience. How to break that vicious circle, can it be done [00:06:09] through this program? Well, it can, so I think there is such a deficit now. The market, especially [00:06:13] in the Canton of Sarajevo, that mm employers [00:06:16] are looking for workers who can also be trained, so for long-term, [00:06:20] so not a finished product on the one hand, on the other [00:06:23] hand, these programs give financial [00:06:26] opportunities to employers to draw for a certain period, [00:06:30] whether it's six months for secondary vocational [00:06:33] education or 12 months for higher vocational [00:06:36] education, so it's a symbiosis that has [00:06:39] mm shown results, results would be much [00:06:43] greater if there had been an amendment to the federal law [00:06:46] on mm [00:06:49] employment mediation. So, that current [00:06:53] federal law ties the hands of all cantonal governments [00:06:56] because uh there is no distinction between real [00:06:59] job seekers and [00:07:02] fictitious ones, so at this moment in Canton Sarajevo [00:07:05] we are dealing with a figure of approximately 47,000 [00:07:09] people who are on the unemployment registry, but the real number is between... 13 [00:07:12] and 15,000, the rest are fictitious due to some social [00:07:16] benefits on the one hand, and on the other hand because people are abroad, [00:07:19] telling their life story [00:07:22] abroad. So, that law prevents us from [00:07:25] creating mm programs that will directly target [00:07:29] these 13 or 15,000. Yes, but when [00:07:32] programs are made, generally those who are really looking for a job apply. Anyone who is not [00:07:36] looking will not apply for anything similar, that's right, but [00:07:40] there is room, so there is room and capacity and [00:07:43] finances through the employment service, and I am [00:07:46] sorry that this law in the Federation has not changed in [00:07:49] recent years. That is a political question for which [00:07:52] I really don't know why this is such an [00:07:56] important topic, especially for parties that [00:07:59] come from Herzegovina, i.e., [00:08:02] HDZ, which, a few months ago, practically [00:08:06] overturned that law, or rather, there was not enough support for the amendment of that [00:08:10] law. So, I don't see anything there that has some kind of eth... precedent, it's just [00:08:13] operational that can establish for all [00:08:16] employment services of all cantons in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to [00:08:20] differentiate those who really want to find a job, to [00:08:23] invest money in them, maybe even through retraining, not [00:08:27] like this, through the fog, blindly, to talk about [00:08:30] 48,000 unemployed, 47 unemployed in [00:08:33] Canton Sarajevo. This is really not a figure that is [00:08:37] real, but it is just a fictitious figure based [00:08:40] on that bad law. We are talking [00:08:44] the purchase of the first property is somewhere presented as [00:08:48] help to young people, is that help enough [00:08:51] considering this dizzying increase in property [00:08:54] prices, not only in Canton Sarajevo, but in the whole of Bosnia and [00:08:57] Herzegovina? Many say that properties are unrealistically [00:09:01] expensive and somewhere it would take people more than half [00:09:04] of their lives with some loan, uh, whose [00:09:07] installment almost exceeds a thousand marks to pay off such an apartment, [00:09:11] is that a realistic price and how, besides [00:09:15] that VAT refund, can young people be helped to get [00:09:18] a home? That is a big step forward, so mm [00:09:22] colleagues from other countries who read it and [00:09:25] saw it, so they were quite curious and asked me how [00:09:29] it happened, because in those neither regional nor European [00:09:33] countries was that policy based in that way. I think it is a very [00:09:37] important pillar, whether it is enough, it is not, so today we are talking about [00:09:40] the price per square meter in Sarajevo of... 5,000 convertible marks, and when [00:09:44] you take this 50-square-meter apartment with [00:09:48] interest and so on, it really takes a whole lifetime for a young person or [00:09:52] anyone to pay it off, so on the one hand [00:09:55] this law will be introduced, so we are working and are nearing [00:09:59] the end of that law on taxing additional properties in Canton Sarajevo, which [00:10:02] will reduce the bubble of those prices, so it will reduce [00:10:06] and somehow it will perhaps affirm other [00:10:09] markets for investment, so not only that citizens. [00:10:12] private individuals and other people invest by buying [00:10:16] apartments and keeping them locked, so we want those apartments to be [00:10:19] unlocked, to be rented out, then other taxes will be [00:10:22] paid, and we will also have to change the paradigm [00:10:26] of housing, so, that you tried at one point with that [00:10:30] support for young people, and then there was a problem, and then they [00:10:33] went for a program of building affordable apartments, if I'm not mistaken. Has [00:10:37] that program ever been completed or is it ongoing? Construction is ongoing. This [00:10:40] year, I expect the start of 300 new apartments, [00:10:44] some of which are in Sokolović kolonija, so right next to the [00:10:48] tram line that will be opened in the coming [00:10:50] weeks. There will also be a beautiful building, citizens of Canton [00:10:54] Sarajevo can see the conceptual solution. At this moment, all [00:10:57] permits are being collected so that that location can be started, not [00:11:01] yet certain locations in Vogošća [00:11:04] and in the municipality of Center Šip, so [00:11:07] that in that way we can attack the market, change the paradigm [00:11:11] of thinking about housing, that's what I wanted to go back to, [00:11:14] so this is in Western Europe. Housing is not exclusively [00:11:18] about buying apartments, so we must open up [00:11:21] the thinking of our fellow citizens about affordable rents. [00:11:25] mm apartments, it is not something common in these [00:11:28] Eastern cultures that, yes, but here the [00:11:31] installment comes to almost the same as the rent for a month, so [00:11:35] then people logically think that it is actually better [00:11:39] to pay for something, even for a longer period, and in the end [00:11:43] have that something, than to give money for rent, which you are right [00:11:46] about, but we must change that concept of rent, so [00:11:50] there must be subsidies for renting those apartments, either through financial [00:11:54] means. Municipalities of the canton, or through [00:11:57] rents of already existing mm [00:12:00] housing stock of both the canton and municipalities to [00:12:03] a certain population. These must not be commercial prices, and [00:12:07] I think that the example of Vienna, which [00:12:10] is an ideal example that is very difficult to [00:12:13] replicate not only in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sarajevo, [00:12:17] but also in many developed countries, but to strive for that [00:12:20] similar example and open up the way for that [00:12:23] social... "rent of apartments to all [00:12:27] interested parties, in this case in Sarajevo. Yes, you mentioned [00:12:30] earlier the conceptual design of the building, uh, [00:12:34] for young people, the conceptual design uh, actually [00:12:38] of a new university campus [00:12:40] uh, behind which stands Canton Sarajevo. [00:12:43] Now many remind that the construction of some university [00:12:47] facilities, which started a long time ago, was never completed, and then [00:12:50] how can we actually believe that this project will be brought [00:12:54] to an end if... since it has been going on for decades, it has [00:12:57] never been completed, and why [00:13:00] actually start one, or rather another, when the first one is still [00:13:04] not finished? Well, citizens are right about that, so, but one just needs [00:13:08] to see why some buildings were not built and who [00:13:11] participated in creating such ugly [00:13:15] narratives, which follow this government. We are talking, I suppose, about the [00:13:19] building of the Academy of Performing Arts, which was started [00:13:22] about 20 years ago. Yes, it was [00:13:26] started and it surely should have been visited on several occasions and deadlines given. [00:13:29] That building of the Academy of Performing Arts will be completed [00:13:33] during this year as [00:13:36] lost on that building, let's say, ten [00:13:40] years uh of the lives of all [00:13:43] Bosnians and Herzegovinians, ten years of opportunities, [00:13:47] for example for the film industry, which is current in the coming days due to the [00:13:50] film festival. How much more advanced would we be now, how much [00:13:54] more competitive, how many of our students and [00:13:57] professors might be more active in the cinematography [00:14:00] market if they had adequate conditions. We lost out due to various [00:14:04] criminal activities on that object, surely some would say [00:14:08] that even those who are educated and profiled today [00:14:11] unfortunately don't have much work, especially in recent years in [00:14:15] that industry, I agree, so this is [00:14:21] the level of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, precisely because [00:14:24] of that mm... "the government of Canton Sarajevo and the Ministry of Culture and [00:14:27] Sports has established a fund for cinematography [00:14:31] of Canton Sarajevo, allocated a budget enough for it, considering that only the canton [00:14:34] allocates, that there are no, so from other levels of government. No, no, so, so this is [00:14:38] only one pillar that must exist. We are a city of film and we [00:14:42] must function in that way and give one pillar [00:14:45] of incentives to the film industry, [00:14:48] the remaining pillar or the remaining two pillars on which the film [00:14:53] the level of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We cannot expect a state level [00:14:57] because of political issues, but the Federation must [00:15:01] and will get involved uh in [00:15:03] one way or another, so from the aspect of Canton Sarajevo, we can truly [00:15:07] be proud. Unfortunately, I cannot be proud, [00:15:11] due to the slowness of a few months. We should have had the first call for the film [00:15:15] fund last year, but the appointed management [00:15:18] board resigned before a new one was announced, so these are some [00:15:21] procedures that are not in the hands of the competent [00:15:25] ministry and the government of Canton Sarajevo, but these are processes that happen independently [00:15:28] of us. My insistence to Minister Magoda and [00:15:32] Minister, Minister Magoda regarding the [00:15:35] film fund is that that call must be [00:15:39] announced as soon as possible. The money that is planned in the budget for 2026 [00:15:43] must be uh [00:15:47] pumped into the film industry [00:15:50] as promised and as planned [00:15:53] uh for all [00:16:09] about this, but we haven't been able to reach him for quite some time, but as [00:16:13] prime minister, even though the government is in resignation, I assume you can give some [00:16:16] answers. After the cantonal court ruled [00:16:19] that hiding the contract for the construction of the tram [00:16:23] line was illegal, the Ministry of Transport was [00:16:27] ordered to repeat the procedure respecting the Law on Freedom [00:16:29] of Access to Information uh, which was initiated [00:16:33] by Transparency International. Minister Šteta, in his reaction, claims [00:16:37] that the ministry still acted according to the law, so then [00:16:41] we come to a collision of these two statements. Should the interest [00:16:45] of a public, uh, or rather private company, be placed above [00:16:48] the interest of the public that wants to know where and how citizens' [00:16:52] money is spent? So, I haven't read the verdict [00:16:56] of the Cantonal Court, I was also informed by colleagues [00:16:59] and by the [00:17:02] media that the Cantonal Court [00:17:06] sent it back for first-instance [00:17:10] decision, and I think there is no fear on my part [00:17:13] or on the part of Minister Šteta or the Ministry of Transport's representatives [00:17:17] that they will respect the Cantonal Court's [00:17:20] verdict in the way it is written in the operative part [00:17:24] of the decision, [00:17:28] i.e., the verdict itself. Minister Šteta participated in the government of Canton Sarajevo, not only [00:17:31] this one but also the previous one, which can truly be said to [00:17:35] be a transparent government, and we have established excellent mechanisms regarding [00:17:38] it, but if the talk [00:17:42] of transparency is actually hidden from the public, [00:17:45] if it is hidden, that there is no private reason why a [00:17:49] minister or an employee or a member of the government does not want [00:17:52] that to happen. I ask the specific question, can [00:17:55] the interest of a private company actually be above [00:17:59] the interest of citizens, if an obligatory relationship has been established with, for example, [00:18:02] a private company or with EBrd, the financier [00:18:06] of the project itself. That relationship must be [00:18:09] respected, so at that moment, was it actually the canton, or [00:18:13] a certain ministry, that should have agreed to such a contract, given [00:18:17] the laws on access to information? Well, I'll tell you, many of these international [00:18:20] agreements, we won't take the EBRD example, but other international [00:18:24] agreements, with other banks and so on, this is a standard [00:18:28] agreement, and wherever we tried, regardless of this part, to change [00:18:31] some things, we encountered a wall [00:18:35] that is difficult to jump over. They say it's take it or leave it [00:18:39] regarding those standard parts of the agreements, so we're not talking about the price, we're not [00:18:43] talking about the content of the same, so [00:18:46] already standard agreements say these are agreements we work with [00:18:50] governments, we work in Montenegro in Slovenia, and so [00:18:53] on, take it or leave it, so it's very difficult now to say, I don't like [00:18:57] the clause, I won't, and the court in [00:19:01] London will not be competent for that agreement, we want to say that it's the municipal court [00:19:05] in Sarajevo, so don't or... is the official version in one language or in [00:19:09] another more relevant than the other? So, many of these things are [00:19:13] difficult to negotiate, almost impossible [00:19:17] in cases where I participated for some things, because they are like [00:19:21] this, take it or leave it, and also in this part, [00:19:24] if that contract with [00:19:27] EBrd or the contractors does not allow it to be shown, so I'm not [00:19:31] talking about the interest of citizens, about public [00:19:34] or private interest, but I'm talking about the obligatory [00:19:38] relationship that has been established by that contract. When we talk [00:19:41] about traffic, there have been visible investments [00:19:45] in recent years in Canton Sarajevo, but despite [00:19:48] all that, it definitely hasn't solved the traffic jam problem. [00:19:52] Now you were coming to us, I suppose you saw what a traffic jam there was [00:19:55] on the main city thoroughfare. [00:19:58] Uh, is there a way for Sarajevo to solve [00:20:01] that problem somehow, or will we live with it regardless of these [00:20:05] investments in public transport? Well... "I arrived very [00:20:08] quickly, but that doesn't mean there are no traffic jams in Sarajevo, but it's [00:20:12] holidays in kindergartens and schools, so [00:20:14] much better, much better flow [00:20:18] in the city. So, the adaptive center for adaptive traffic management, [00:20:22] a project that is being established, a project that [00:20:25] we expect to speed up traffic by at least 30%, [00:20:29] so if someone went from point A to point [00:20:32] B in 30 minutes, we expect [00:20:36] that to decrease." Yes, but we are still talking about, therefore, individual [00:20:40] vehicles. Is there a way for citizens, therefore, to [00:20:43] leave their cars at home, to rely on [00:20:47] public transport, for it to be better organized, for it to be. Is [00:20:50] it more precise, is it, therefore, with fewer crowds so [00:20:54] that we reduce crowds in that way? Yes, absolutely. So, what [00:20:57] we have bought now, that is a small revolution in the region, not to [00:21:01] mention in Bosnia and Herzegovina, of trams, trolleybuses, buses, [00:21:04] minibuses, that is just to [00:21:07] cover those lines. However, the policy and [00:21:10] changing the paradigm of citizens' awareness will happen in the [00:21:14] next, next steps. For example, recently there was news [00:21:17] that a camera was installed in a part [00:21:20] of the Marshal Tito thoroughfare that will penalize [00:21:24] citizens who drive uh on the yellow lane, so on the [00:21:28] tram track side. This somehow [00:21:31] divided the public, saying why it is being done, so it was [00:21:34] already forbidden to drive on that side. At this moment, only rules are being introduced [00:21:38] to penalize reckless drivers who [00:21:41] drive on the right side, i.e., the side where the [00:21:44] tracks are. In this way, public transport will be accelerated, [00:21:47] in this way, tomorrow citizens who are used to [00:21:51] driving their vehicles, there are over 165,000 registered [00:21:54] vehicles in Canton Sarajevo, [00:21:57] will be convinced that it is much nicer, much easier, [00:22:01] cheaper to use public transport, which at this moment is [00:22:05] punctual, which you also have via an app, clean, [00:22:07] tidy, mm, which is air-conditioned, than to sit [00:22:10] in cars and traffic jams. So [00:22:14] that is the paradigm that is not happening exclusively in our city, [00:22:17] but must happen in the minds of our fellow citizens. Just like it happened in [00:22:21] other major cities, so streets were closed, [00:22:24] roads were closed in that way [00:22:27] mm citizens of Ljubljana and I don't know other [00:22:31] world cities were forced, motivated to use [00:22:35] public transport more. The fast road uh that is [00:22:38] being discussed in Sarajevo caused, I can freely say, political conflicts. Semir [00:22:42] Efendić, mayor of Novi Grad, says that instead of [00:22:46] a highway, a road of the rank of a main road should be built. [00:22:49] You are with free access, or rather [00:22:52] a road like a boulevard from Idiđ to the center [00:22:55] of Sarajevo, can the citizens of Sarajevo afford another [00:22:59] postponement of this project while political options or [00:23:02] municipal mayors or authorities somehow agree? No, they can't. [00:23:06] So, that is a lifeline that was planned in the planning documents of our city [00:23:10] five or six decades ago when the [00:23:13] city highway was drawn here, and it was drawn for [00:23:16] a reason, and I am sorry that due to... [00:23:20] interests, not the municipality's, so we are not talking now about the interest of one municipality, [00:23:24] but about Mayor Pendić in this case, but we are talking about [00:23:26] the interest of a small group, perhaps even a local [00:23:30] community, to lower the category of that road [00:23:33] and to further slow down traffic in [00:23:36] that area. So, we, the city of Sarajevo and [00:23:40] Canton Sarajevo, must not view it through local communities or through [00:23:43] municipalities, so we must view it as one urban entity. [00:23:47] which says that this city really needs to have. a city [00:23:51] highway that will speed up traffic in that area, [00:23:55] mm, I can only imagine, for example, here in the 70s in [00:24:00] in what way and what interests existed and if someone had said [00:24:04] we will not build that périphérique where Paris would be today, [00:24:08] so I think that the profession should lead [00:24:11] the main word that political points or [00:24:14] votes of a certain street local community must not [00:24:17] prevail over the interests of the city of Sarajevo. [00:24:21] Arsaevi is also a project that has been announced for a long time, it has entered [00:24:25] the construction phase. You say that it will be completed, if I'm not mistaken, in [00:24:28] two years. And now, [00:24:32] some fears have appeared for the safety of the historical museum [00:24:36] of Bosnia and Herzegovina due to the works. Can it be [00:24:39] guaranteed, therefore, that there will be no problems in that part? So, nothing can be [00:24:43] guaranteed in life, but that the contractors, supervision [00:24:46] and financiers, among others, the Canton of Sarajevo. that they have [00:24:50] undertaken all relevant activities to [00:24:53] protect the historical museum which is [00:24:57] very significant for us, that has been done, so [00:25:00] at every meeting, one of those meetings was in September last [00:25:04] year, the director of the historical museum was also there, where they established [00:25:08] roadmaps, this method of protection, the contractor even [00:25:10] issued a guarantee regarding [00:25:14] the safety of the works, [00:25:16] the works are carried out according to much stricter criteria and [00:25:20] standards than if the Canton of Sarajevo or some city [00:25:24] municipality were doing it, given that the essential investor is [00:25:27] UNESCO, the Municipality of Novi Grad issued the building permit, so [00:25:31] there is no fear in that regard, our [00:25:34] concern regarding the historical museum, we have shown it in a concrete [00:25:38] way, together with the remaining six institutions at the level [00:25:42] of Bosnia and Herzegovina we have recognized and [00:25:45] we finance it from the budget of the Canton of Sarajevo, so that is the obligation of the state of Bosnia and [00:25:49] Herzegovina. which Bosnia and Herzegovina, for political [00:25:52] reasons, does not want to uh finance, the Canton of [00:25:55] Sarajevo took it and thanks to this government [00:25:59] mm, the same museum was financed its cold [00:26:02] operation. Likewise, we are aware of the situation of [00:26:06] the infrastructure of the museum itself, the facade and so on, we allocated [00:26:09] one million and [00:26:12] 700 thousand convertible marks which [00:26:15] are available to the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo and the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo [00:26:19] is issuing a public call which I think is in the final phase, if it's not already [00:26:22] completed, and will start with the adaptation of the historical [00:26:26] museum, so that is a mm complex and [00:26:29] it is a targeted approach of this government for... all cultural [00:26:33] institutions, so, the museum of contemporary art must not, will not [00:26:36] jeopardize the historical museum, we need [00:26:39] both of these museums, we show how we treat [00:26:42] the employees, seven institutions at the level of Bosnia and [00:26:46] Herzegovina of importance for uh Bosnia and [00:26:49] Herzegovina and we show how we treat [00:26:52] the infrastructure by investing one million 700 in the same [00:26:56] object, so everything else is spinning [00:26:59] fishing in troubled waters politically, I don't know. for what reason [00:27:03] this post came into the public air, when [00:27:06] you say political fishing, even though officially it is not, the pre-election campaign is [00:27:10] uh, how much will [00:27:14] it affect you personally and our party and [00:27:18] the impact of what happened on February 12, that is, what [00:27:21] followed after that, your resignation which [00:27:24] uh practically was not because you remained in a technical [00:27:28] mandate, so you will be in that mandate until the end of the mandate. [00:27:32] that is, until the elections until a new government is elected, how [00:27:36] do you think the citizens will perceive that? [00:27:39] Uh, so, I don't want to suggest, so it's very difficult [00:27:42] now, to isolate that event [00:27:46] that happened at the beginning of this year to be a decisive [00:27:50] factor positively or negatively but they [00:27:53] see it as a turning point in your mandate and you experienced it that way as soon as you [00:27:57] resigned after that, so yes, this, I think that the image [00:28:01] of the successes... of this government or failures of this government will be taken [00:28:05] a little wider, that is, for a period of four years or maybe even longer given [00:28:09] that the troika [00:28:12] Sarajevo da će se na taj način donositi mm prava [00:28:16] decision will be made, I am really sorry that that moment that cannot [00:28:19] be foreseen in the mandate, so those are the things that cannot [00:28:23] be foreseen in the mandate, happened, this, that [00:28:26] we communicated in that way and that [00:28:30] that moment led to the loss of a [00:28:33] young life, disability in another young [00:28:37] life, at the end of the resignation of this government, so these are all things that [00:28:41] cannot be in life, but when we talk about that resignation, do you think [00:28:44] that citizens will experience the resignation as [00:28:47] some kind of deception given that you submitted it, but you remained in office, you [00:28:51] and the other ministers, so deception or not, [00:28:54] essentially the Assembly of the Canton of Sarajevo dismissed us and the next [00:28:58] step is the Assembly of the Canton of Sarajevo, all parties, so [00:29:01] we are not talking... the parties in this case of the troika have [00:29:05] the right and obligation and the possibility to [00:29:07] delegate signatures in order to appoint, you were the majority [00:29:11] and you had somewhere the possibility, I hope, with those [00:29:15] coalition partners, and there was that competence and talk about how [00:29:18] that didn't [00:29:21] happen, can citizens reasonably [00:29:24] suspect that they were somehow deceived, [00:29:28] because in the end nothing came of that resignation, so that's... [00:29:32] My resignation itself and the vote of the Assembly of the Canton of [00:29:36] Sarajevo was a pure [00:29:39] uh desire of all of us to act in that way, especially [00:29:43] my desire, your party and the other parties of the troika [00:29:47] Canton of Sarajevo, so if there [00:29:50] was a sincere desire, then the matter could have been brought to an end, you will agree with me, you [00:29:54] are right about one thing, on the other hand, you remember, maybe [00:29:57] the accident, the opposition in [00:30:01] for a long time that this majority [00:30:04] did not have a majority, so that the troika did not have a majority in the Assembly of the Canton [00:30:08] someone else has that majority, [00:30:12] that obligation was also on the shoulders of [00:30:15] SDP, NIP and our party as well as on the shoulders of [00:30:19] other parties that claimed that we did not have a majority, so [00:30:22] that the parliamentary majority is mathematics, 18 votes [00:30:26] which can at one point, well, that happened now I don't know in USK, [00:30:30] this, at one point to change. [00:30:33] The paradigm, to decide we want to go in another direction, [00:30:36] unfortunately that didn't happen, I still emphasize, unfortunately because it was [00:30:39] my sincere wish to show and I showed [00:30:43] by personal example that politics can be conducted [00:30:47] procesi kasnije ovaj ne mogu kontrolisati, dakle to su [00:30:50] parliamentary matters, those are matters of political organizations, those are [00:30:54] who did not [00:30:58] succeed in such a short time.
