[00:01:51] The war in Ukraine, the crisis in the Middle East, the development of drones and the growing demand for [00:01:55] military industry products have once again brought to the fore the question of technological [00:01:59] and production readiness of countries worldwide, can Bosnia and Herzegovina [00:02:03] utilize its own potential in the defense industry, where are the [00:02:06] limits of domestic drone production and what security [00:02:10] consequences can current global conflicts have? We discuss this today [00:02:13] with military expert Berko Zečević. [00:02:17] Call me even when you're not there [00:02:21] you're always there, no that's what a mother [00:02:24] is called. We will talk about the winning songs, emotions [00:02:38] after the won awards, audience reactions, but also plans for [00:02:42] the continuation of their careers with this year's laureates of one of [00:02:45] the most significant regional music [00:02:47] festivals. [00:02:51] So these are roughly our topics and guests on Day Live this [00:02:55] Wednesday. [00:03:03] And here are the most important headlines on the portal n1info.Ba at this [00:03:06] moment. Our recommendation to you is to find the most important news at that [00:03:10] address. Um, from the cabin to military [00:03:13] exercises with Eufor soldiers, our team spent a day above Bosnia and [00:03:17] Herzegovina. What they recorded, you can find on our portal. Known [00:03:21] names for the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and [00:03:24] Herzegovina from the Republic of Srpska on the lists in electoral [00:03:27] unit 2. Mayors, ministers, directors. and many other [00:03:30] names, so candidates, Ronaldo furious due to substitution, clashed with [00:03:34] Al Nassr coach, without him made a big [00:03:38] comeback. Police investigating fires in Trebinje, firefighters say, those who start [00:03:41] fires should be sanctioned. An employee of the BiH court [00:03:45] pleaded not guilty, he is accused of illegally appropriating [00:03:48] 196,729 [00:03:51] convertible marks. Trump about the Iranian supreme leader says: "I don't [00:03:55] think he's dead, but he's very badly wounded", one of the topics [00:03:58] highlighted on... the pages of the portal dedicated [00:04:02] to world news, [00:04:19] President of HDZ 1990, delegate in [00:04:21] the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ilija Civitanović, our [00:04:25] first guest today, from demands for amendments to the electoral law through [00:04:29] reactions to the resolution of the Croatian Parliament on the position of Croats in BiH, all the way to [00:04:33] a fierce polemic with Slaven Kovačević and the criminal complaint that [00:04:36] followed his statements about the verdict in the Prlić case and [00:04:40] other topics that we will discuss in the coming minutes. Good day and [00:04:44] welcome. Good day and thank you for the invitation. There have been many reactions these [00:04:47] days, or rather for several months, how good it is that [00:04:51] HDZ Bosnia and Herzegovina finally got serious [00:04:54] competition, but on the other hand, there are also remarks that [00:04:57] the "five" is perhaps even [00:05:00] more right-wing than Čović's HDZ, [00:05:03] how do you comment on that? Well, I don't know what's right-wing, it's not hard to be [00:05:07] more right-wing than Čović's HDZ, so the "five" [00:05:10] is a group of political parties [00:05:12] that come from the Croatian corpus, center-right [00:05:16] with very clear state-building views when it comes to [00:05:19] Bosnia and Herzegovina with very clear views on [00:05:23] the organization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the equality of constituent peoples, [00:05:26] preserving our history, our [00:05:30] heritage, what we are in essence in Bosnia and [00:05:33] Herzegovina, three constituent peoples with different [00:05:36] faiths, not wishing ill of anyone, we are [00:05:40] inclusive, not against [00:05:42] anyone, if that's right-wing, then we are right-wing, so, in my opinion, we are [00:05:46] a political center-right that preserves our [00:05:49] tradition, that preserves our customs, what the Croatian people [00:05:52] have cherished and lived for centuries in Bosnia and Herzegovina, [00:05:56] state-building, I think that is the correct political path and [00:06:00] political direction, when you draw the line, what is the fundamental [00:06:03] difference between HDZ BiH and this [00:06:07] "five"? Well, HDZ BiH has been in power for 25, [00:06:10] 30 years, their president perhaps even 50 years, manages significant [00:06:14] resources in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he has shown that [00:06:17] he is not capable, that he cannot solve key national issues, that he cannot [00:06:20] stop the exodus of Croats and all other citizens from Bosnia and [00:06:24] Herzegovina, that it is full of clientelism, [00:06:27] nepotism, corruption, so we come from a completely different [00:06:30] spectrum, we are significantly younger, at least by [00:06:34] 20 years, we haven't had the opportunity to show [00:06:37] what we know, and in these elections we have united to [00:06:41] together offer the Croatian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina to [00:06:44] enable them to vote. They will vote as they think is best [00:06:48] for them. We are offering ourselves and have shown through our agreement that we are ready for [00:06:52] compromise, for agreement, that is the path we want this [00:06:56] country to take, through agreement, through compromise. And we believe that we can do [00:06:59] much better, that we can be more qualitative, that we can be more honest, that we can be more humane, that [00:07:03] we can be more inclusive, that we will not be alienated, that we will simply [00:07:07] live our political life in a different [00:07:10] way. It is difficult to find differences in some national topics, [00:07:14] electoral law, the organization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, I expect every [00:07:17] responsible Croat who is involved in public affairs to try [00:07:21] through their conscience to reach a position on what is best for Croats in Bosnia and [00:07:24] Herzegovina, we have defined that in the way we defined it and [00:07:28] we stand by it, you mentioned the electoral law, what else besides the electoral [00:07:31] law, uh, which is according to many opinions today the biggest [00:07:35] problem, what are the other challenges that you pose to [00:07:39] the "five", well, on the same level, nothing less. [00:07:42] Stopping the exodus and emigration from Bosnia and [00:07:46] Herzegovina, motivation for the return of especially younger [00:07:49] people in this uh uh [00:07:52] difficult time in Western Europe when people want to [00:07:55] return, but simply there is no sense of a returning [00:07:58] climate in Bosnia and Herzegovina, there is no sense that Bosnia and Herzegovina in its [00:08:02] legislation, in its organization, in its agreement, in the relations [00:08:06] within Bosnia and Herzegovina, has moved even a little forward so that these people [00:08:10] would make that final step or final decision for [00:08:13] returning, that will definitely be one of the important topics alongside the electoral [00:08:17] law, not after, but alongside the electoral law, the fight against [00:08:21] crime, corruption for an independent judiciary that is [00:08:24] under political influence, with due respect to individuals, I don't want [00:08:28] to generalize, but the judiciary is the starting point for [00:08:31] the liberation of all other segments of life [00:08:34] in Bosnia and Herzegovina, so we have no influence on the judiciary [00:08:37] nor do we seek it, nor do we want to have it, but we want [00:08:41] through amendments to laws that relate to the judiciary, including [00:08:44] the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) and the court that somehow haven't been adopted, we want to [00:08:48] free that judiciary from political influence, no, I don't need [00:08:52] to, I'm sure the public knows that today the judiciary [00:08:55] is under absolute political influence, that indictments [00:08:59] are flying against political opponents, that it is [00:09:02] simply the worst thing in Bosnia and [00:09:05] Herzegovina at this moment and what the recovery of this [00:09:09] society should start from, that is the fight for a free judiciary. "And [00:09:12] that is also the first segment in negotiations, the first cluster of negotiations with the European [00:09:16] Union, so that's why they are not opening, because if you had [00:09:18] a free judiciary, billions have disappeared from this country [00:09:22] in the past 30 years, so let the rule of law [00:09:26] function, let it condemn all those who are guilty of it, even if [00:09:29] it's someone from our ranks, it doesn't matter at all, the only thing that matters is that there is no [00:09:33] selective approach, that there is a transparent and equal approach to [00:09:36] everyone. We will talk about the European path, I would like to dwell a little more on this [00:09:40] question of the position of Croats in BiH. You welcomed the resolution [00:09:43] of the Croatian Parliament on the political empowerment of Croats in Bosnia and [00:09:46] Herzegovina, I want to ask you one concrete thing, [00:09:50] how much was that resolution truly produced by the situation in Bosnia and [00:09:53] Herzegovina, and how much by the desire of some parties in Croatia to further [00:09:57] prove their importance? Well, I think that if you want to [00:10:00] weigh it, the desire for [00:10:03] the fight for a better position of Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina prevails. I know [00:10:07] many authors and I socialize, so I will be free to [00:10:10] say that I partly participated in creating that resolution in its very [00:10:14] beginning with the goal [00:10:18] of stabilizing the political situation in Bosnia and [00:10:20] Herzegovina, not direct interference but... a message [00:10:23] to Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Croatian Parliament [00:10:27] stands behind you, just as we in '94 and [00:10:30] '95 guided you or even worked [00:10:34] in your name, arranged such an organization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we [00:10:37] accept that, we are aware of that and as guarantors [00:10:41] of that, we stand for you, we will give support for you to reach [00:10:44] an agreement within Bosnia and Herzegovina that will stabilize [00:10:48] political relations, especially in the federation, I [00:10:51] guarantee that this is not. Bosnia and Herzegovina is not against Bosniaks, [00:10:55] it is not against Serbs, I am sorry that the resolution still does not have one, one [00:10:59] clause that speaks about the entity of Republika Srpska about the position [00:11:02] of Croats in Republika Srpska which is catastrophic, and why is there no such part? Well, I don't know [00:11:06] why there isn't, I suggested in the final, it was modified [00:11:09] several times, it had to be found and then it was agreed upon within the coalition with [00:11:13] HDZ, DP and other political [00:11:16] entities, and with the influence perhaps of HDZ from [00:11:19] Mostar, that part was eliminated, I'm sorry, you want to say that the close ties [00:11:23] between SNSD and HDZ Bosnia and Herzegovina produced the fact that that part [00:11:26] is not in the mentioned part? Very possible, very possible that it was like that, but [00:11:30] I repeat, despite that, the resolution is [00:11:34] a document against which only one member of parliament [00:11:36] in the Croatian Parliament voted, which shows that there are no [00:11:40] left or right, no or those in the center who do not [00:11:44] recognize the relations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, who have not understood [00:11:47] that support is needed, no, I would not say classic interference, and from [00:11:51] the first day I recognize the importance [00:11:54] of such a resolution adopted in that way, unlike [00:11:58] those from HDZ BiH the president of the federation [00:12:01] said a few days before the adoption of the resolution, until the order [00:12:04] came from Zagreb to support it, that no one should [00:12:07] interfere in Bosnia and Herzegovina, let the actors within Bosnia and Herzegovina agree, so [00:12:11] why didn't you agree for 25 years, you see that you have neither the will nor [00:12:15] the strength to agree, this resolution is for me an incentive [00:12:18] for political representatives of both Bosniaks and Croats, especially these two [00:12:21] peoples, you have friends in us, sit down. [00:12:25] agree, solve it, we will support you on the European [00:12:28] path to solving this important issue for Croats, but especially for Bosnia and [00:12:32] Herzegovina, there were attempts to solve it, it's not that it wasn't [00:12:35] true in the last mandate, no, but in some earlier [00:12:38] period, a final solution was never really reached, everyone who [00:12:42] tried to make a compromise on one side or the other was [00:12:46] prematurely declared traitors, do you think [00:12:49] that given that it certainly won't be resolved before the elections, after [00:12:52] the elections there are some options, some forces... that can sit at [00:12:56] the same table and agree on something that at this moment seems to be [00:12:59] the biggest problem, not only of the federation, but of the complete relations between Bosniaks [00:13:03] and Croats in BiH, absolutely, if we start from the trace [00:13:06] and if we put the thesis that the relations between Croats [00:13:10] and Bosniaks are the key to the stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina, [00:13:13] the key to the Euro-Atlantic path of Bosnia and Herzegovina, if we have elections [00:13:17] in a month and if we know that we will continue to wallow in [00:13:21] political mud if we don't solve these key issues, then if necessary, we still [00:13:25] need this electoral law, then I am sure that [00:13:28] the citizens in these elections will realize that the time has come to [00:13:32] perhaps give someone else an opportunity, who will have [00:13:35] the strength to make such a difficult decision and be prepared [00:13:39] for criticism from a part of the hypocritical public that [00:13:42] deliberately creates such an environment trying to already prematurely [00:13:46] label all those who want a minimum of compromise as traitors, you want to [00:13:49] say that the situation would be more relaxed if [00:13:52] in the elections for the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. a member of the "five" or [00:13:56] a member or candidate of HDZ Bosnia and Herzegovina won. That [00:13:59] would be a much better situation for everyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Now I don't know [00:14:03] how the Central Election Commission will react, we still have seven or eight [00:14:07] days until the campaign starts punishing stories, we are not talking about the campaign, [00:14:11] we are talking about what could therefore be the agreement on [00:14:14] the electoral law. What is crucial in the candidate, or in the member [00:14:18] of the Presidency for me is that he is recognized and [00:14:21] as a legitimate Croatian to the end through... [00:14:25] his life, his work, his participation in the Homeland [00:14:28] War and a state-building Bosnian-Herzegovinian, that is the [00:14:32] candidate we offer, who is not against anyone, who [00:14:35] is for, but people, we must wake up, we must understand what [00:14:39] troubles those who are fewer in Bosnia and Herzegovina, it costs [00:14:43] no one anything, but there is fear, a few days ago [00:14:47] information appeared, allegedly if a candidate from the HDZ [00:14:50] of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the SNSD enters the Presidency of Bosnia and [00:14:54] Herzegovina. that there is already an alleged agreement that [00:14:57] Milorad Dodik will be pardoned and then take over the function [00:15:01] of Prime Minister of Republika Srpska. That is something [00:15:04] that is obviously feared by a part of the public in the Federation of Bosnia and [00:15:08] Herzegovina. But that public is continuously frightened [00:15:11] by some potential conspiracies. I really don't know what these two [00:15:15] candidates can do. I know what the candidate of the "five" would do, [00:15:19] probably and certainly, if he were in the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, [00:15:22] even though he is independent. Everything that [00:15:26] is against the interests of Bosnia and Herzegovina, he would be against it, everything that [00:15:30] is in the interest of the Croatian people, he would absolutely advocate for it [00:15:33] and would be a defender of the interests of the people and the state, [00:15:37] and what will the others do? "Others will do, well, they have shown in the past 20, 30 years [00:15:40] how they will behave and what they will do, the candidate we [00:15:43] support is certainly not against anyone, but for, he will always be [00:15:47] proactive, offer solutions, offer a better standard, a better life, [00:15:51] they say he is not competent to comment on this or that topic, well, a member of the presidency by his [00:15:54] authority is competent to speak about all phenomena in society, [00:15:58] of course he should talk about the judiciary and ideologies and what was [00:16:02] before 30 years ago, because the public must know who we are [00:16:05] dealing with, about the legitimate representation of Croats in Bosnia and [00:16:08] Herzegovina, Gordan Grlić Radman and MEP Željana [00:16:12] Zovko have also spoken out these days, who proposes the Belgian model [00:16:16] as a principle for solving the situation [00:16:20] in Bosnia and Herzegovina, how do you comment on that proposal, [00:16:23] specifically? Well, I don't want to comment on any individual [00:16:27] proposal at this moment, a month before the elections, especially from people who [00:16:31] had the opportunity through their political parties to do it, what do you mean by [00:16:34] that all of this is in the function of the campaign. "He who rules for [00:16:38] 25 years, and among Croats that is HDZ Bosnia and Herzegovina, [00:16:41] if he offers Belgian, Swiss, any [00:16:45] solutions a month before the elections, it is only for the elections, it is not for [00:16:48] solutions, so we simply as a group [00:16:51] of parties will not have as a partner anyone who is not ready to [00:16:55] implement these solutions, any model that was proposed a few [00:16:58] days ago that the condition for establishing power after the October [00:17:02] elections would be precisely the electoral law, would you, why not [00:17:05] act in that way, why not?" [00:17:07] "Why not, it's time, so, we don't need conditions, but it's [00:17:11] obvious, yes, but in the previous mandate there were no conditions, so no [00:17:15] agreement was reached, although we implicitly had the guarantee of the President of HDZ Bosnia and [00:17:19] Herzegovina that the Federation government would not be formed until [00:17:22] the electoral law was amended, six months after the formation, then in 15 [00:17:26] days, then in 20, then thousands of days passed, nothing was [00:17:29] done, why not that, why not use all [00:17:33] democratic tools to convince the other to act [00:17:36] wrongly, to act..." to act correctly for this country, people, [00:17:40] I, I call on the public to understand that nothing will change [00:17:44] if Croats had dominant influence, well, 100% can't [00:17:47] vote for someone ever, but dominant influence [00:17:50] the possibility of full pluralism, so today we [00:17:53] don't have a situation among Croats that someone [00:17:56] calls the candidate we support a traitor because of his [00:17:59] background, because of his national responsibility, because of [00:18:02] his political and military activity, that was the goal [00:18:06] of that, because... that when he appeared, a [00:18:09] good part of Bosniaks, specifically saw hope in him somewhere [00:18:13] and gave him support, then that story changed in the meantime [00:18:17] precisely because of what we talked about at the beginning, that is that [00:18:21] the "five" went, it seems, too far 10, well, the "five" is where it needs to [00:18:24] be, that story is very relative, we are HDZ [00:18:27] 90 is center-right, these are our traditional Christian [00:18:31] values that we advocate for and that are defined by our [00:18:35] declarations, our statute, that is the political framework in which we [00:18:38] move, we don't go too far there or too far here, [00:18:42] but the candidate is not against anyone, he is welcome for [00:18:45] everyone, uh, Croatian interests of course he will primarily [00:18:49] advocate for them, he will defend the state, state interests, of course that is [00:18:52] implied, but if someone creates a perception, [00:18:56] with the aim of helping someone [00:18:59] else, and we have experience of 16 years, what it means [00:19:02] when someone like that third person sits in the Presidency of Bosnia and [00:19:06] Herzegovina, not that... "we will not take a step forward, it will be more steps [00:19:09] backward, wallowing in mud, not solving the problem of emigration from Bosnia [00:19:13] and Herzegovina, we do not want to participate in that, yes, when you mention the third, you had [00:19:17] a conflict through the media, through [00:19:20] social networks with Slaven Kovačević, the candidate [00:19:24] of the Democratic Front for a member of the Presidency from the Croatian [00:19:27] people, how do you comment on the fact that you were actually accused [00:19:30] of spreading hate speech? I have [00:19:34] said a lot, I have never had a conflict or discussion with that [00:19:37] gentleman, I don't want to at all, so it's some kind of media [00:19:40] quarrel, first of all what what what I would ask him and what I would [00:19:44] recommend to him is to enable people to [00:19:47] live freely with electricity and water in the apartment [00:19:51] where that family has lived for 70 years, when [00:19:55] below him he should explain to the public [00:19:57] how in the municipality to which he belongs in the past [00:20:01] period the ownership changed, he had ownership [00:20:05] rights to one canton, to one. This family, how he [00:20:08] exchanged that, why do these people today live in the center of Sarajevo without [00:20:12] electricity and water, let him explain that to the public and then let him fight for [00:20:16] justice, if you don't respect universal [00:20:19] justice, the right to a normal life, how will you [00:20:22] represent anyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina, that is a fraud against Bosnia and [00:20:26] Herzegovina, it is not even against Croats, it is primarily against Bosnia and [00:20:30] Herzegovina, it is the influence of someone else to further [00:20:33] destabilize relations between Croats and Bosniaks in the federation, and [00:20:37] I repeat. on the third way, that is the key to the Euro-Atlantic path of Bosnia and [00:20:40] Herzegovina. I will return to that question that we talked about [00:20:44] last time as well when we discussed this topic, that [00:20:47] is two against one when it comes to the race for [00:20:50] the presidency, or for a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the ranks of [00:20:54] Croats, do you think that in that struggle the one on [00:20:58] the other side will win because of this situation we're in? I don't [00:21:02] think about that, uh, and we thought intensely about what to do [00:21:05] as responsible people, self-aware people, what [00:21:09] to do, and our final decision, which we absolutely [00:21:12] stand behind, is that the Croatian people must have the possibility of choice, they have [00:21:16] the possibility of choice between an independent candidate Vučić and a candidate [00:21:20] from HDZ Bosnia and Herzegovina, the third candidate for us does not exist, [00:21:22] is not an option, I don't want to count blood [00:21:26] grains, he does not represent national interests, he does not represent state-building [00:21:29] interests, we are not afraid of scenarios, we believe that the candidate we [00:21:32] support will achieve such a result, win the elections and [00:21:36] finally that Croats in the Presidency of Bosnia and [00:21:39] Herzegovina will have a person of caliber, of authority, [00:21:43] of dignity, of a respectable past, of a [00:21:46] formed and complete person who does not need material wealth, a man. [00:21:50] a formed man, who has satisfied all his financial needs, who has [00:21:53] peace, a man who came out of comfort and offered himself, so I am [00:21:57] sure that we will not be in that situation at all, but again the crucial [00:22:00] thing is, we have not systematically resolved the issue of electing members [00:22:03] of the presidency, as long as we do not systematically resolve that, we have not done [00:22:07] our job, whoever is elected, that must be the first topic and we will use [00:22:11] all democratic tools available to achieve [00:22:14] that, and the state should of course continue to function, [00:22:17] we saw what happened in the previous. years of blockades, [00:22:21] blockades, blockades, apart from the adoption of the budget, almost nothing concrete was adopted [00:22:25] in the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina, uh, [00:22:28] do you think that a similar principle will be continued even after the October [00:22:32] elections, and even when a new government is established, [00:22:35] if the forces that are currently dominant continue to [00:22:38] do the same, it is illusory to expect different effects, [00:22:42] it is not possible, so, if the same people manage [00:22:45] processes, make decisions, of course you must expect [00:22:48] the same scenario. the same situation, blockades, stagnation, [00:22:52] emigration, riots, dissatisfaction, [00:22:55] apathy, depression in society, that's why there are elections, that's once every four [00:22:59] years when citizens have the opportunity, only that day they decide, how much [00:23:03] do you think that the application of modern technologies [00:23:06] will affect the elections, which will definitely be at all polling [00:23:10] stations on October 4th, will that, to [00:23:13] a significant extent, change the actual election [00:23:16] results from those we had in previous years? Well, [00:23:20] honestly, I believe that it will drastically affect the election [00:23:23] results, according to some of my [00:23:26] unproven estimates that I receive from the field, no [00:23:29] less than 20% lower results, [00:23:33] only because of new election technologies for parties that have ruled [00:23:37] for years in Bosnia and Herzegovina, these three key ones, I don't want to repeat them, I don't want to [00:23:40] mention them anymore, so it will certainly have an effect. impact. [00:23:44] on the election result and what is especially important for everyone [00:23:48] in Bosnia and Herzegovina to now... [00:23:50] No one should stay home, because they can be sure that their [00:23:54] vote, as they mark it, will be realized as that [00:23:57] voter wished. The polling committees will not be able to change the will [00:24:01] of the voters. So, I am sure that it will drastically and significantly affect [00:24:05] the results themselves, the voting process, [00:24:08] the desire of voters to go to the polls, because no one will steal their vote. What [00:24:12] is very valuable is their electoral will and [00:24:16] the decision of that voter for whom they want to govern for the next four years. [00:24:20] and Herzegovina, Mr. Cvitanović, I want to comment on one more topic, [00:24:24] it concerns the OHR office, there is no agreement on the election [00:24:27] of a new high representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, uh, but when you [00:24:31] look at everything, things are going their way even without a high representative [00:24:34] and with him, we are in a crisis then in a crisis, uh, is [00:24:38] that actually an indicator that this country can do without [00:24:42] foreign tutors, well, you've set the thesis, so what happened, nothing [00:24:45] significant has happened since Christian Schmidt left and we have [00:24:49] an acting high representative, so problems, problems, problems, [00:24:53] misunderstanding, tough political struggle, this [00:24:56] country definitely must start functioning without international [00:25:00] influence and without a high representative and without foreign judges in the constitutional court, [00:25:03] but for that, it needs to meet a few very [00:25:07] small preconditions, very minor things, it must pass a law on [00:25:10] state property, it must regulate that area, it must show [00:25:13] the international community that it is a partner that fulfills [00:25:17] its assumed obligations, the high representative will not leave [00:25:21] until the international community says he should leave, but if politics will be conducted [00:25:24] in the way it has been conducted for the past 4, 8, 12 [00:25:28] years, the high representative here, whoever comes, [00:25:32] will definitely live to a ripe old age, because with these [00:25:35] political actors, this progress will not happen, which is necessary for the international [00:25:39] community to say, these people have shown credibility, they don't need [00:25:42] a foreign tutor, they can manage processes and make [00:25:45] decisions themselves. In the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on several occasions, [00:25:49] attempts were made to reach a solution to at least partially [00:25:53] abolish excises on fuel due to this crisis we are facing, there was no [00:25:57] political agreement, there was no understanding, on the other [00:26:00] hand, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 25 years. has built [00:26:04] only 250 km of highway, all of which cost more than two [00:26:07] billion euros, not convertible marks, but [00:26:10] euros, then the question arises where does that money from [00:26:14] excises, which citizens have been paying since 2018, [00:26:18] if I'm not mistaken, go. You've listed that well, so Croatia [00:26:21] has 1600 I think kilometers [00:26:25] of highways, Bosnia and Herzegovina in both entities has as much as [00:26:28] you said in the past four years, I don't know if even [00:26:32] one meter of highway has been built, and 7 [00:26:36] km on corridor 5c, which has been under construction for eight [00:26:39] years, which has been under construction for eight [00:26:42] years, was opened a few days ago. So much money, I had a parliamentary [00:26:45] question about where the massive billions went, I never got [00:26:49] an answer, an answer about where all that money went and why [00:26:53] that highway is being built, the money simply [00:26:55] ends up in budgets, and from the budgets, [00:26:59] either individuals or private companies loyal to [00:27:02] political structures are satisfied, and they then [00:27:08] ways, both politically and individually, [00:27:11] by financing all their activities, so that money [00:27:14] ends up where there is no benefit for citizens. You mentioned [00:27:17] fuel excises, well, isn't it a shame that those 30 [00:27:21] fenigs, which would not significantly affect the revenues [00:27:25] of the indirect taxation authority, which are growing much more than [00:27:28] planned, that the parliament accepted to abolish that and that... [00:27:32] that fuel be 30 fenigs cheaper, but let's [00:27:35] move on, what's up with our terminals in Ploče? The state audit [00:27:39] cannot enter that company, see who are [00:27:43] these people who have been managing for years, from which political [00:27:46] option they come, who is the president of the supervisory board, the general secretary of a [00:27:49] party, let's see why through that port we don't [00:27:52] enable competition, diversification, why [00:27:56] oil is coming to us all the time, sanctions [00:28:00] against Russia, we are all the time, as far as I have information. we use that oil through [00:28:03] Ploče in Bosnia in Bosnia and Herzegovina, why don't [00:28:07] we remove customs duties 10% [00:28:09] for oil from other areas that is imported, [00:28:13] that way we would reduce the price of fuel to 2.5 marks, [00:28:16] but there is no political will, there are no individuals who are ready [00:28:20] to roll up their sleeves and work, if the [00:28:22] people are satisfied with that, great, as far as I'm concerned, let them continue, we are not [00:28:26] satisfied and that's why we are running in the elections in this way, we will see what the citizens [00:28:30] will say on October 4th, thank you. for being our guest, for discussing [00:28:34] these topics, thank you for the invitation.
