[00:00:25] Indictment filed against seven people for the fire in the retirement home in [00:00:29] Tusla. [00:00:32] Test elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina are proceeding with many problems, numerous [00:00:36] polling stations were not opened on time, the delivery of test [00:00:39] ballots was delayed. [00:00:44] A quarter of a century after the attack on the Twin Towers, America marks it with a new [00:00:47] war, due to which a gallon of diesel costs 6 [00:00:50] dollars. [00:00:55] The Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Tuzla Canton [00:00:58] they're demoralized, I think they're very proud of has filed an indictment against seven people in the case related to the fire in the retirement home in Tuzla. [00:01:02] The indictment was filed against former director Mirsad [00:01:05] Bakalović, Zinaida Razić Halilović, head of a service [00:01:09] in the home, and against Mustafa Azabagić, who performed the duties [00:01:12] of fire protection officer and work safety officer in the home. [00:01:16] Also, an indictment was filed against three responsible persons from the company Impros [00:01:20] Tuzla in the capacity of an expert team during the preparation of the fire hazard assessment [00:01:24] for the retirement home of Tuzla from [00:01:27] 2021. The indictment was also filed against [00:01:30] Ibrahim Sarajelić, fire protection inspector at the cantonal administration [00:01:34] of civil protection of the Tuzla [00:01:37] in the period from April November 4, [00:01:41] 2025, they committed the criminal offense of serious [00:01:45] criminal offenses against general safety of people and [00:01:47] property. [00:01:51] Test elections with new technologies are being held today in Bosnia and [00:01:54] Herzegovina. Problems appeared immediately at the beginning. Namely, for [00:01:58] some polling stations, test ballots were not delivered [00:02:01] on time. Now a serious question arises about the organization [00:02:05] of the entire process, especially considering that the trial voting was presented [00:02:09] as an important test of readiness for the application of new [00:02:12] technologies. [00:02:16] during the day some technical problems occurred where [00:02:19] from our base, meaning the central election [00:02:22] commission, its distribution centers, as far as I have [00:02:26] information, currently in the entire Sarajevo Canton these [00:02:30] test ballots have not arrived yet, so we were not able to [00:02:34] materially and physically perform today's [00:02:37] training, this work with [00:02:42] go by myself, wherever it citizens, but we took the opportunity since we organized [00:02:44] the polling station diligently with citizens [00:02:48] we conducted this one oral training on how [00:02:51] it should look like on election day, [00:02:53] so [00:02:57] I am not disappointed, I am calling... [00:03:00] my name is Grazvara and I will be [00:03:04] Grad Sarajevo, so we came to this training to see, I understand everything [00:03:07] about the ballots, it's clear to me, I only came for these scanners [00:03:11] and this, that's what interested me the most to see how it will function since it's the first [00:03:15] time, but we are waiting, I guess we will see how [00:03:18] it goes, I mean, the ballots, regarding the ballots, that's clear to me how it works. [00:03:22] Were you surprised that it was delayed this morning, cancelled? Well, we weren't, what will [00:03:25] it be? It's the first time, not everyone [00:03:29] immediately gets the hang of it, [00:03:33] it takes time for everything to start working, no, no [00:03:35] they didn't show on this training, on this training, they just explained how to [00:03:39] vote, they just showed how to vote, that the ballots will [00:03:43] be A4, on the left side will be parties and on the right [00:03:47] candidates, so you must vote for a party, [00:03:50] if you want to vote for a candidate, you have to find them on [00:03:53] those ballots and then up to three candidates, I think only more than [00:03:56] three parties get votes. Is that [00:04:00] perhaps complicated for you or what do you think will happen? Well, it's not for me, son, because I've been [00:04:04] to elections many times so it's not complicated for me and you see, I just need [00:04:07] these instruments to see how they will turn on so it doesn't get delayed because [00:04:11] of that, and as for the ballots, there shouldn't be problems and inserting [00:04:15] turning it down so it goes straight and then [00:04:19] it will be counted, it will have to be counted manually since it's the first time, but [00:04:22] this was theory before theory, not today's theory, we had [00:04:26] another lecture here, yes, did you have practical to show you? No, only [00:04:31] oral, we didn't have anything practical, well, they told us they would call us next week for [00:04:35] practical. [00:04:39] In a high school in the Zagreb neighborhood of Voltino this morning around 8 [00:04:43] o'clock, an attack occurred in which a student injured another student [00:04:46] and a cleaner with a sharp object. Terrified [00:04:49] students immediately after eight o'clock frantically reported to their parents that [00:04:53] a masked young man armed with a knife was moving through the building. [00:04:56] The attacker is under police supervision while the injured [00:05:00] received medical [00:05:00] help. [00:05:04] During this morning our hospital received a severely [00:05:08] injured child with stab [00:05:11] wounds in the area of the thorax and abdomen. [00:05:14] The injuries can be characterized as life-threatening. [00:05:17] Our staff immediately upon [00:05:20] the arrival of the patient took all measures for his [00:05:23] care, diagnostics were performed. Due to [00:05:26] the severity of the injuries the child also underwent [00:05:30] surgery. What I can say is that [00:05:34] the surgery went well, that the child [00:05:37] is stable and that our multidisciplinary team continues [00:05:41] to monitor his condition and apply all necessary treatment [00:05:44] measures. I am sure that our [00:05:47] experts will do everything possible so that the [00:05:50] child, our patient, does not suffer permanent medical [00:05:54] consequences from this event. I would like [00:05:56] to express my sympathy to all [00:05:59] injured and their families, [00:06:02] especially to the injured child and his parents [00:06:06] as well as everyone affected [00:06:09] by this tragedy that occurred. I would especially like to thank [00:06:13] our staff who reacted quickly, professionally [00:06:16] and dedicatedly, as well as [00:06:19] all emergency services that participated in the care [00:06:22] of the injured. [00:06:26] For now, he is stable, the entire further course should go well, [00:06:30] but as I said, the injuries are [00:06:31] severe. [00:06:34] Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, who was chosen by the Main Board of the Serbian Progressive [00:06:38] Party as the list holder United Serbia, [00:06:41] answered the question from N1 when he would resign as [00:06:44] president. [00:06:48] Immediately upon my return from New York, I will resign. [00:06:50] Now, don't hold me to it, I think it's [00:06:54] the 25th or 26th, but that's [00:06:57] it. 25th, [00:06:59] 26th. [00:07:02] That's it, when I will resign. Then I will go to the campaign as an ordinary [00:07:05] citizen. The law does not oblige me to do that, it is my [00:07:09] wish. I don't want to go into the campaign for prime minister as [00:07:13] president of the republic, I want to [00:07:17] have, no president has ever done that, every one [00:07:21] went to the campaign from the position of president or [00:07:24] vice versa from the position of prime minister, I want to [00:07:27] be the first, I want to go as an ordinary person and an ordinary citizen [00:07:31] and for the last month, that is, of the campaign, [00:07:34] for the last month of the campaign I will be an ordinary citizen, I will go in my [00:07:38] car, I will also take a truck. [00:07:43] "Did we rent that little truck, [00:07:46] it's not a big truck, a small [00:07:49] truck, so I can address people somewhere, I'll [00:07:54] comes to mind, without a special plan, I'll go, and [00:07:58] wherever I come to a village, I'll say a word to the people, [00:08:02] wherever I come to a city, I'll say a word [00:08:03] to the people. [00:08:10] 25 years have passed since the terrorist attacks of September [00:08:13] 11, 2001, and commemorations are being held across the United States [00:08:17] for nearly 3,000 victims. [00:08:20] Of the four hijacked planes, two hit the towers of the World Trade [00:08:24] Center, one the Pentagon, while the fourth crashed in Pennsylvania after [00:08:28] passenger resistance. [00:08:42] and one. President Trump will not be here. He denies that's because [00:08:46] he wasn't being offered the opportunity to speak. The other [00:08:49] four surviving presidents will be at ground zero, [00:08:52] marking the 25th anniversary of the [00:08:55] moment that I suppose redefined the world as we [00:08:58] know it. Two planes flown into the World Trade Center here in New [00:09:02] York, another into the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, fourth [00:09:06] brought down by the passengers before it reached the capital building [00:09:10] in Washington DC, all played. [00:09:13] in real time on network television, and it led [00:09:16] to the invasion of Afghanistan, that turned into [00:09:19] America's longest foreign war, 20 years, it [00:09:22] ultimately led to the invasion of Iraq in 2003, [00:09:26] and it was the moment I suppose when Americans stopped [00:09:30] seeing terrorism as something abroad and began to see it [00:09:33] as something at home, in this melting pot of nation, neighbor [00:09:37] became suspicious of neighbor, there was a 1600% [00:09:41] rise in anti-muslim. some hate crime arise that [00:09:44] paved the way to policies of build the wall, mass [00:09:48] deportation, armed ice agents on the streets of the [00:09:51] United States, policies that put Donald [00:09:54] Trump into the white house, so 9/11 is not just [00:09:58] something that happened 25 years ago, it is the [00:10:01] event that created America and [00:10:04] the world as we know it [00:10:06] today. [00:10:09] The price of diesel in the United States for the first time in history [00:10:12] exceeded six dollars per gallon, while Brent crude jumped to [00:10:16] 104 dollars per barrel due to conflicts in the Middle East and the blockade [00:10:20] of the Strait of Hormuz. Commenting on the crisis, US [00:10:23] President Donald Trump stated that he did not regret military action and would [00:10:27] do the same [00:10:27] again. [00:10:34] if we hadn't done Iran you would be cruising to midterm victory, 225 [00:10:38] gas, well you don't know that, any any [00:10:42] regrets? no, think i think i [00:10:44] don't believe in the word regret, uh, you can always [00:10:47] question yourself a little bit uh, and few people [00:10:51] have asked me that if I had it to do again, I do exactly. [00:10:55] as I did, I took out their nuclear capability, but [00:10:59] I think it ends right after the election, they're limping [00:11:02] along, they're in deep trouble, they how they get [00:11:05] off missiles, we decimated, they can always get off missiles, they had plenty and [00:11:09] they have some, what do you say to all the young men out there, and I know these [00:11:13] are people who supported you in 2024, [00:11:15] 2020, yeah, I think a lot of them still do, but [00:11:18] some of them are demoralized, let me just, I don't think [00:11:23] the fact that I'm not letting a... [00:11:30] The 25th BH Drama Festival Zenica will be held from [00:11:33] September 14 to 20 at the Bosnian National Theater [00:11:36] Zenica. Seven plays are in the competition program. [00:11:40] The festival opens with the National Theater Mostar with the play [00:11:43] Mayor or, this is a play about Mujaga Komadina. In addition to [00:11:47] plays, the festival also includes book [00:11:49] promotions. [00:11:54] All seven plays that the selector [00:11:58] selected in April, [00:12:01] will appear and will be performed within the [00:12:05] 25th Festival of Bosnian-Herzegovinian Drama, one [00:12:08] play due to organizational reasons, the play [00:12:10] of the Chamber Theater 55 "My Soul Loves You", due to [00:12:14] scheduling limitations [00:12:17] and the impossibility of finding an adequate [00:12:19] date and time for the festival to be continuous, will be [00:12:23] performed in the Chamber Theater, that is, in its home [00:12:26] theater. [00:12:32] For the end of the news, the weather forecast. [00:12:35] Good day, dear viewers, the weather situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina [00:12:39] has significantly changed in the past two days with locally heavy rain and a drop [00:12:43] in temperature, thanks to this cyclone moving from the Mediterranean [00:12:46] further east. In the east and south, there has been no significant [00:12:50] cooling or heavy rain yet, but during the afternoon and [00:12:54] evening, more frequent rain and [00:12:57] showers are expected there, which in the south may be more intense and accompanied [00:13:01] by thunder. However, towards the end of the day, and especially tonight [00:13:05] and tomorrow, the weather conditions will gradually calm down with partial [00:13:09] clearing, so that Saturday will bring us more favorable weather [00:13:12] conditions. Before that, today until the end of the day it will be gradually [00:13:16] cooler, with the wind turning to northern directions. As the front [00:13:19] passes over us, these temperatures will further [00:13:23] drop in the evening. The weather for the weekend is more favorable, the cyclone is moving east, which will [00:13:27] guarantee us mostly dry days on Saturday [00:13:30] and Sunday, we can count on being outdoors and making plans, [00:13:34] nights will be quite cool, especially in Bosnia where temperatures may drop [00:13:37] below 10 degrees Celsius before morning, but the days are pleasantly [00:13:41] warm, generally with numbers between 22 and 27, in the [00:13:45] south perhaps up to 28-29 degrees Celsius, [00:13:48] so there are no more of those scorching heats that we had until [00:13:51] recently. [00:13:55] That's all, stay with [00:13:56] N1, [00:14:05] watch "Dan uživo" with Ena Branković, today from 4:15 PM. [00:14:34] The right of a birthing mother to have a companion of her own [00:14:38] choice during the most vulnerable moment is not a topic for debate in the civilized [00:14:41] world, but a standard. In the Federation of Bosnia and [00:14:45] Herzegovina, this right has fallen victim to political calculations, [00:14:49] months-long blockades of the House of Peoples, and due to conscious [00:14:52] violations of constitutional deadlines and refusal. to even vote on the draft [00:14:56] law, the Baby Steps association filed a criminal complaint with the special department of the Federal [00:14:59] Prosecutor's Office against [00:15:03] Chairman Tomislav Martinović and the leadership [00:15:06] of the House. Why are the authorities afraid of opening a public discussion [00:15:10] about the conditions in birthing rooms? In the new day, our [00:15:14] guest Mila Tatarević, president of the Baby Steps association, good morning and [00:15:18] welcome. Good morning, thank you very much for the invitation. Just at the beginning, I want to emphasize [00:15:21] that we also invited Mr. Tomislav Martinović to join [00:15:25] us in this conversation, he unfortunately did not respond to our invitation, he did not [00:15:29] even reply to our message, but he had some reaction yesterday, [00:15:32] what was it? Yes, his reaction came out where he practically presented some [00:15:36] excuses that are absolutely unfounded, incorrect, for example, he stated that the House [00:15:39] had already twice declared on that issue, no, this [00:15:43] issue was never on the agenda, it was only declared, put on the agenda, which [00:15:47] should not have happened, because what is the basis of the criminal complaint is the Constitution which [00:15:51] clearly defines that there is a deadline by which an issue that has been adopted by [00:15:54] the other House must be considered, so that deadline [00:15:58] expired at the beginning of April, with the April session it had to be [00:16:01] put on the agenda, not discussed, not voted [00:16:05] on for placing on the agenda, but it had to be [00:16:07] included, so the Constitution is clear and there is no room for any [00:16:11] interpretation and it is really frightening and [00:16:14] concerning that the chairman of the House of Peoples, who passes laws, in this way [00:16:18] shows either his ignorance or [00:16:21] or in some way in the context of that interpretation of the law, or the constitution in [00:16:24] this case, tries to justify his actions. Uh, you [00:16:28] filed a criminal complaint to the post office because of that, [00:16:31] what was the key moment when you realized that nothing would happen in [00:16:35] this mandate, that... your letters, [00:16:38] appeals uh have no [00:16:41] effect on the leadership of the House? Well, this has been going on for a year now, [00:16:44] practically, the law was submitted in September last year, the House of Peoples [00:16:48] has been delaying this procedure since January, so even when it comes [00:16:52] to the draft, it's taking so long. We really tried to reach the House of Peoples, the [00:16:56] Collegium, the commissions, so we tried writing, [00:16:59] we even contacted the Constitutional Court about violations of the Constitution, but we don't have that active [00:17:03] legal standing, which is also an irony at our level, that the Constitutional Court [00:17:06] doesn't protect ex officio, but we wait for someone [00:17:10] who violates the law to report the violation, so [00:17:12] it's absolutely ironic in our system, [00:17:16] we realized that it wouldn't work, we tried at the extraordinary session in July, but [00:17:20] there too, the possibility of putting it on the agenda was very clearly and simply rejected. There we warned [00:17:23] about violations of the Constitution, but nothing happened, we still have [00:17:27] the same situation, we still have a complete disregard, a full blockade in every sense of the word, we are not [00:17:31] talking about the right to accompaniment here, we are not talking about voting, everyone has a democratic [00:17:35] right, we are talking about a public discussion that... I'm not even talking about [00:17:38] a public discussion, because this is a violation of the Constitution that the issue should be considered and decided, [00:17:42] it wouldn't be, it would be a different story if they had rejected, said there was no public, they rejected [00:17:46] the draft, that is their democratic right, but this is [00:17:49] blocking that, so blocking the issue through [00:17:52] violating the Constitution, which is the highest act of the federation, so [00:17:55] it's a shame that this is happening from the House of Peoples. Then we have those excuses [00:17:59] that don't hold water, which it seems to me only serve to mislead [00:18:02] the public with some story about some procedures and how the [00:18:05] proposer feels it won't pass. We're not even talking about what kind of [00:18:08] feeling it is, where is that written? The Constitution clearly stated, not based on a feeling that something won't [00:18:12] pass, not on voting, not on some [00:18:15] kind of opinion or interpretation, but it will be clearly put on [00:18:19] the agenda, so the April session was the last [00:18:22] resort, we are now in September, meanwhile there were a few more [00:18:26] extraordinary, there was another regular session, this issue was never [00:18:29] allowed to be discussed and I just wonder why, what is such a big problem of all [00:18:33] this, why are they so afraid of this discussion, whether it is [00:18:36] non-transparent. and the practice in which [00:18:39] patients have been for decades without the protection of a witness at [00:18:43] childbirth are the main [00:18:45] reason? Well, we cannot claim who is responsible, who is behind this resistance, [00:18:49] but what is certainly clear and visible to all of us is that after a year of trying for [00:18:53] something so simple, where everyone says they support this issue, [00:18:57] it is obvious that there is resistance, and I think the answer to the question of who is behind the resistance [00:19:01] is best answered by those questions in the sense of who is bothered by accompaniment, [00:19:05] who can be bothered, who is bothered that a birthing mother has a person with her, [00:19:08] who is bothered that we have a witness in the maternity ward, who creates this [00:19:12] resistance that we can now call systemic resistance, because this truly goes beyond all measure. [00:19:16] We are now talking about a draft law that only implies public discussion, and [00:19:19] we have so much resistance to public discussion on this topic, which is already a standard in [00:19:23] the world, and believe me, I've had enough of the sentences from our doctors, and rarely does anyone [00:19:27] speak out on this issue, only when they are really forced [00:19:31] to. I support accompaniment, but what? But if [00:19:34] you support accompaniment, do something about it. So there's no "I support it," [00:19:38] but we're only talking about excuses all the time. Then those politicians took all that talk, [00:19:42] everyone has some kind of verbal support, but on the other hand, [00:19:45] they are practically fighting against it. [00:19:49] Uh, your ultimate goal is [00:19:52] the complete abolition of obstetric violence [00:19:55] and corruption, which we all hear about, we all have at least one case [00:19:59] in the family where it happened, we can't lie that [00:20:02] it has been eradicated in our [00:20:05] healthcare institutions, what?". Practice from the region and [00:20:09] Europe shows how much the presence [00:20:12] changes precisely those negative [00:20:15] aspects of childbirth for women? It absolutely changes [00:20:19] it drastically, so the change is most visible, most obvious, and [00:20:22] greatest when we talk about companionship at birth. For this reason, we focused [00:20:25] on this topic precisely because we have a great aspect of prevention [00:20:29] of obstetric violence and corruption in maternity wards. When you have a person next to [00:20:32] the birthing woman, she is not alone, she cannot be treated even by someone who openly and clearly commits [00:20:36] obstetric violence and verbal violence towards the birthing woman, they cannot behave [00:20:40] in the exact same way, they have to be much more considerate, because the birthing woman is no longer put in [00:20:43] a position, you know how a birthing woman thinks about her child then, she doesn't think about herself, and [00:20:47] you simply don't have an automatic defense mechanism against [00:20:50] "in that context of some attack, whether verbal or emotional conditioning, but the person [00:20:54] who is with her protects the birthing woman, and supports the birthing woman. Very [00:20:58] disturbing testimonies you recorded throughout all these years [00:21:01] of your struggle for presence at birth, yes, there is a lot [00:21:05] of trauma, there are many things that are absolutely inadequate and you know [00:21:09] what else, not all traumas, but even those experiences that someone considers [00:21:12] of omissions in the context of patient rights, [00:21:16] every birthing woman will find at least one sentence that was not in its [00:21:20] place, that is verbal violence, so we absolutely have a situation where [00:21:24] our system is so bad that we are pleasantly surprised [00:21:27] by a situation where we try to present what was not ideal [00:21:30] as ideal because it was not as traumatic as some stories we have, so we must not [00:21:34] wait for traumas, we must not wait for consequences, we must do something, [00:21:38] prevent. I am aware that there are many doctors who support the issue, [00:21:41] but they do not support it publicly, so they do not dare to speak out because we also have many [00:21:45] who do not want this to be implemented just like that. The story about excuses [00:21:49] about premises, about protecting the profession, we heard in parliament, in parliamentary [00:21:52] benches, doctors talking about protecting the profession when talking about [00:21:56] patient rights, and we heard how a right [00:22:00] cannot be defined until conditions are met, what are we talking about, we're twisting things, so [00:22:03] the right is the basis, first the right is legally defined and then we talk about [00:22:07] conditions, we absolutely have so many problematic [00:22:10] ways of talking about this topic that it's unbelievable, and it's so [00:22:14] simple, so trivial, recommended by experts, all experts, [00:22:17] there is absolutely not a single argument against it, but we [00:22:21] have so much resistance, which is really ironic and alarming [00:22:24] and frightening for us as citizens. What will happen when we start talking about [00:22:27] obstetric violence, when we start talking about some serious situations [00:22:31] and serious changes in the healthcare system, when we cannot even solve [00:22:35] something so simple and trivial? And the story about privacy [00:22:38] they tell, we can't talk about the privacy of birthing women, privacy is guaranteed [00:22:42] by law, how can birthing women not have privacy now, why are three birthing women giving birth in the same [00:22:46] room? They use their violation of the law as an excuse for [00:22:50] further disrespect of recommendations, it is absolutely unbelievable to what [00:22:53] extent we are going, and this form, this criminal complaint is [00:22:57] practically the last attempt by the non-governmental sector to do something, because you have [00:23:01] a situation where the top of the House of Peoples openly violates the constitution, and he [00:23:04] gets away with it. It's also an election year, we are in the pre-election campaign, [00:23:08] no one is giving up, it says that we as a people are disappearing from these [00:23:12] areas. Pro-natalist policy [00:23:16] is something that parties promote before [00:23:19] every election, unfortunately we have them every two years and [00:23:23] we hear a lot about it, even if it's not within their [00:23:26] jurisdiction, what does politics say? [00:23:30] Here are the government, the opposition, you have been many times in [00:23:34] the House of Peoples, in the House of Representatives of the Federation Parliament, I met [00:23:37] you at recordings, you talked to those [00:23:40] delegates, those representatives, what do they tell you? [00:23:44] You see, most of them will not openly say anything negative, they are all for it, but somehow [00:23:48] they are all... "Generally, now I will tell you, it is already becoming [00:23:52] very much about birthing women and talking about maternity benefits and similar things, we are really [00:23:55] talking about the birth rate, of course, which is inevitable and that is one aspect of this story, [00:23:59] because our research shows that birthing women have [00:24:02] more children because they are afraid to return to the maternity ward, as they call it, that slaughterhouse [00:24:06] and so on, so we also have that consequence, the birth rate directly indicates how much [00:24:10] accompaniment at birth is a pro-natalist policy, and we drew attention to that because that is something [00:24:13] that politicians talk about, but is there that real [00:24:17] political will besides that talk?" which means nothing [00:24:20] to us, well, last year when we were negotiating this, it seemed to us that [00:24:24] we had it, because everyone promised and said it would be very easy, clear, easily resolved in [00:24:28] the context of two, three months, the law would be completed under an expedited [00:24:31] procedure, but the moment the law was submitted as such, [00:24:35] resistance began, first the ministry never submitted an opinion on that law to this day. [00:24:39] So, absolutely, you directly accused some parties from the ruling [00:24:42] coalition of obstructing the adoption, so [00:24:45] you see, we always followed what was happening in parliament, the votes were the basis [00:24:49] of all of that for us. What is happening in the House of Peoples is precisely the avoidance of those votes, because when we [00:24:53] published who voted how, some parties were highlighted in that context because they were [00:24:57] the ones who obstructed, but essentially, the call-outs came [00:25:00] directly from citizens and then even representatives of some parties were angry [00:25:04] in the context of how we organized resistance, etc. No, that's [00:25:07] democracy, so it's the right of citizens to ask why you, for whom I [00:25:11] voted, voted against this issue, why you obstruct what [00:25:15] women need, what women are asking for, what is a need of citizens, which parties are those? Well, [00:25:19] HDZ and SD are two parties that most obstructed this issue in the context [00:25:22] of that aspect in the House of Representatives while we had, now [00:25:26] regarding the House of Peoples, we cannot even get a vote in some aspect, because believe me, when there were [00:25:29] proposals for voting and when individual declarations were requested, practically [00:25:33] the entire House of Peoples turned and said no, that kind of public [00:25:37] call-out cannot be prevented, because the reason why [00:25:40] we have such a blockade, I am sure, is because no one dares to stand for their own against [00:25:44] the accompanying person, so no one dares to vote against, then they won't, especially [00:25:48] in an election year, for a woman to call them out tomorrow. Because it's not about calling out women from [00:25:52] Sarajevo, it's not about calling out, meaning, therefore, [00:25:55] that someone is focused, no, the entire Federation, and even Republika Srpska, has joined [00:25:58] this issue, women are asking why, how, where, so, this is also... [00:26:02] they are calling out and seeking accountability from those who were elected there, that is what is for [00:26:06] me the most important thing about all this story that has come out so difficult, [00:26:09] that people need to understand that those who sit in parliament [00:26:12] are not God-given, that they are there because someone elected them and that they have [00:26:16] a responsibility towards citizens, that is what they forget first, [00:26:20] they simply don't feel that they understand that they should be accountable, we submitted petitions with 5, [00:26:23] 10,000 signatures, so there is no effect from that, so nothing [00:26:27] that their citizens tell them means anything, they are only now talking to citizens, they are talking these [00:26:31] last month. That's why I am now calling on citizens, ask all your [00:26:35] candidates, whether you will follow them, whether you will support them, but not [00:26:38] just verbally support, what will you do about this issue, if you are elected tomorrow [00:26:42] and sit in parliamentary benches, because this is the moment when you can ask, [00:26:46] after October no one will ask you anything anymore, so what after October, [00:26:50] given that it is very likely that there will be no more [00:26:54] sessions, uh, after this criminal [00:26:57] complaint, what are your next steps, are you perhaps considering [00:27:01] protests? or some other form of [00:27:04] pressure on the authorities, well, the biggest problem [00:27:07] is precisely the current situation, given that the House of Peoples will not be formed that quickly, given [00:27:11] the process, when will the first session be, realistically we cannot expect it before the end of the beginning [00:27:14] of next year practically, we will continue to [00:27:17] fight for this issue at all instances, so the criminal complaint is one aspect [00:27:21] by which we will continue to seek and demand accountability, we will strive to work, [00:27:25] we will not stop in the context of waiting for that session, so [00:27:28] we are still working, we will still try, I am now calling on all candidates [00:27:32] who are willing to support this issue, who are willing to be full support tomorrow [00:27:36] in the full sense of the word to work on this issue, to contact us to express that publicly, we will organize some [00:27:40] of our pre-election campaigns, as I like to call them, and street actions [00:27:43] similar to try to put this topic where it should be, [00:27:47] because this is such a simple, essential, important [00:27:51] issue and so simple to solve and [00:27:54] is talking about it in some pre-election campaigns because the focus is on some big [00:27:58] state policy and we are not solving the basic needs of citizens which are so [00:28:02] simple to solve, we will continue to work, we will work with hospitals and [00:28:05] with ministries, we will try to solve this issue in multiple [00:28:09] aspects, more precisely in multiple ways, we don't have to wait for [00:28:13] the law to have this as accompaniment in hospitals, every [00:28:16] hospital can now, in current conditions, have [00:28:19] accompaniment in maternity wards, if we are talking about current legal, we have the right to privacy, the right to [00:28:23] dignity, we have a legal obligation to work according to modern [00:28:26] procedures, according to modern recommendations, so from the interpretation of the law and we already have [00:28:30] an obligation of hospitals and [00:28:32] the idea of the law was to make that a direct, clear obligation, no one [00:28:36] can say it's not true, but we also have the ignoring of those [00:28:40] obligations by the healthcare system absolutely, yes, absolutely, and [00:28:43] generally we have a problem that the law is respected as it is, we wouldn't even have problems with accompaniment, [00:28:47] but unfortunately we are aware that even when the law is passed, we will probably still have to fight against [00:28:51] some who may not be so in favor, but I hope it is clear to everyone that mothers want this, [00:28:55] they are asking, no matter if it's baby steps or not, that mothers will not stop and that is [00:28:59] what I think is the key to change, that women are... [00:29:03] the key to many changes in our [00:29:06] society, thank you very much for your time and effort and [00:29:10] work on this very important issue, thank you for your support, very much.
