The proposal to [00:00:04] sell a 20% stake to private investors caused [00:00:07] fierce criticism, especially from UEFA, which accused Infantino [00:00:10] of trying to sell the soul of football and stated that [00:00:14] it no longer had confidence in his leadership. Due to the whole affair, Infantino's [00:00:18] candidacy for a fourth term at the head of FIFA, which will be decided [00:00:21] at the congress in March of next year, has been called into question. [00:00:25] godine. [00:00:28] And Infantino himself comes in crisis mode after a failed [00:00:32] attempt, as we have already said, to sell the ownership of the World [00:00:35] Cup to people with money, the respected Swiss [00:00:38] lawyer, professor, former member of the independent committee for [00:00:41] FIFA governance, Marc Pitt, in an interview for [00:00:45] N1 spoke about the structural problems of this organization, [00:00:49] the greed of its leaders and the complete disregard for human [00:00:53] Aleksandar Vučić's speech at rights. Infantino's attempt to commercialize [00:00:56] the very core of FIFA, met with [00:01:00] strong resistance from the UEFA-CONCACAF and other [00:01:02] confederations. Professor Pet points out that the current [00:01:06] FIFA president is an ambiguous person who brought money [00:01:09] to the institution, but in his desire for power and personal enrichment [00:01:12] he nevertheless crossed the line. [00:01:16] He has in a way, first of all, done it in [00:01:19] a much more proficient way, and [00:01:22] secondly, he is now trying, he's now trying [00:01:25] to go over the top to actually sell FIFA to [00:01:29] sir. [00:06:23] Good evening, the N1 diary begins. I am Ana Kapli, and this is the news [00:06:27] of the day. [00:06:30] There is no danger of electricity and water shortages. Due to low [00:06:34] water levels, river traffic is threatened, announced the government's [00:06:37] operational team. In Deliblatska Peščara, an area of 300 [00:06:41] hectares is burning. [00:06:46] Here are the other topics in tonight's [00:06:48] diary, [00:06:52] at a temperature of 40 degrees, are the recommendations for outdoor [00:06:56] work respected? [00:06:59] What are the working conditions like, does the employer understand when the temperatures [00:07:03] are so high? Well, I hope that [00:07:06] it will, it hasn't so far, but in the future we [00:07:10] hope it will, what is... The problem is that in [00:07:14] this way the responsibility is actually [00:07:16] shifted to the worker who needs to [00:07:19] self-regulate. [00:07:22] The Ministry of Internal Affairs replied to N1 that it does not possess [00:07:25] a document on the basis of which it would have information about whether members [00:07:29] of the police perform security duties for Zvonko Veselinović [00:07:32] and Milan [00:07:33] Radojčić. [00:07:37] How much was Aleksandar Vučić's speech at the commemoration of the day of remembrance [00:07:41] in line with his previous message that for Serbia [00:07:44] the most important things are peace and stability in the region? [00:07:48] The empty talk of Šešelj that we heard, heard, [00:07:52] heard in the 90s later. Always [00:07:56] the same story that [00:07:59] incites and poisons this unfortunate [00:08:02] people. [00:08:05] Pro-government media reported that he was arrested and that a large [00:08:08] quantity of weapons was seized from him. Niš opposition member Dragan. [00:08:12] denies all of that, local journalists notice [00:08:15] koincidenciju, [00:08:17] two statements by the Serbian Progressive Party, i.e. one press [00:08:21] conference, then an article by the mayor [00:08:24] and then the so-called weapons affair which was [00:08:28] launched by [00:08:43] The heat wave has reached its peak, the mercury in the thermometer was [00:08:47] close to 40 degrees today. The prolonged heat [00:08:50] wave is already causing alarming consequences. In addition to [00:08:54] reduced electricity production due to low water levels, Serbia [00:08:57] is experiencing an increasing number of fires. [00:09:01] The situation with electricity supply in Serbia is under control [00:09:05] and there is no fear of implementing restrictive [00:09:07] measures, it was announced today by the Government of Serbia after [00:09:11] the session of the operational team of the Republic Headquarters for Emergency [00:09:14] Situations. The operational team stated that so far there has been no [00:09:18] assessed risk of interruption of water supply to the population with [00:09:21] drinking water, regular sampling and laboratory [00:09:25] testing continue. The operation of pumping stations Bezdan 2 and [00:09:29] Bogojevo is disabled due to the low water level of the Danube, so [00:09:32] it is currently not possible to inject new quantities of water into the [00:09:35] Danube-Tisa Danube hydro system. Therefore, the public [00:09:39] water management company Vode Vojvodine has started preliminary [00:09:42] works on deepening the inlet canal near station Bezdan [00:09:46] 2, the formation of an earthen dam is planned, as well as the installation [00:09:49] and commissioning of mobile aggregates at these two locations. At today's [00:09:53] session, the Team concluded that the low water level poses [00:09:57] a serious challenge for river traffic and transport because [00:10:00] it reduces the carrying capacity of vessels, prolongs transport time and [00:10:04] increases transport [00:10:05] costs. [00:10:10] Satellite images published by Reuters showed a dramatic drop [00:10:13] in the water level of the Danube during the heat wave. The first [00:10:17] image shows the Danube level near Novi Sad [00:10:20] in 2025. And recent satellite images show [00:10:23] how much the water has fallen. The second image [00:10:27] shows what the Danube looked like last year near Prahovo on [00:10:30] the Serbian-Romanian border, and what it looks like now during [00:10:33] the heat wave. Reuters also published images of the Danube level near [00:10:37] Bratislava, Vienna in Germany on the border of Bulgaria and [00:10:40] Romania. In Deliblatska Peščara, the fire [00:10:44] covered an area of about 300 hectares. The head of the sector for [00:10:47] emergency situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Luka Čaušić, stated this evening that the [00:10:51] new fire, which broke out around 2 p.m. in Deliblatska [00:10:55] Čara due to high temperatures and wind, spread very quickly. [00:10:58] He added that the fire broke out about a kilometer from [00:11:02] the area where on July 22, another large [00:11:05] fire was successfully localized and extinguished. More than [00:11:08] 80 members of the sector for emergency situations, voluntary [00:11:12] fire brigades and Vojvodina Šume are currently participating in extinguishing the new [00:11:16] fire, while three helicopters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have been [00:11:19] deployed from the air. Čaušić stated that today in the territory of the village of Lučica [00:11:23] near Požarevac, one [00:11:25] person died due to a fire that she [00:11:27] caused herself. In the Ibar gorge, along the stretch from [00:11:31] Maglič towards the mouth, fires broke out today in several locations. The flames [00:11:35] engulfed forests, low vegetation above the highway, slopes and [00:11:38] grass along the railway on the right bank of the Ibar. The fire is in [00:11:42] inaccessible terrain, so it is only fought with [00:11:45] backpacks. The Ministry of Environmental Protection announced that a [00:11:49] fire also broke out in the Stara Planina Nature Park and that the competent [00:11:52] services reacted immediately. A Kamov K32 [00:11:56] helicopter of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' helicopter unit was engaged in extinguishing a fire in [00:11:59] the village of Borovac near Zaječar, which covered about 100 hectares of dry [00:12:03] grass and low vegetation. In the fire, there were no injuries and no [00:12:07] residential buildings were threatened. The closed [00:12:11] uranium [00:12:11] mine was also protected. [00:12:15] Those whose work is performed outdoors should be protected by the Law on [00:12:19] Safety and Health at Work, guidelines and recommendations of the Ministry of [00:12:22] Labor. Whether employers implement the guidelines, Tamara [00:12:25] Stojanović checked. [00:12:29] Exposure to direct sunlight in the period from 10 am to 5 [00:12:32] pm is not recommended by the City Institute for Public Health, yet many work tasks [00:12:35] in that interval, fully equipped, [00:12:38] take them out into the sun. It is very demanding, we endure [00:12:42] somehow, we find some shade where we can, [00:12:46] we refresh ourselves with some cold drinks and that's [00:12:49] what we manage to [00:12:53] do. What are the working conditions like, does the employer [00:12:56] understand when temperatures are so high? [00:12:59] Well, I hope he does, he hasn't so far, [00:13:03] but in the future I hope he will. Some [00:13:07] indoor jobs at high temperatures pose [00:13:11] considerable challenges. How is it next to the grill in these [00:13:13] heats? It's not as hard for us as for colleagues who work next to [00:13:17] the grill, it's extremely hard and exhausting for them, they fight like Spartans. Is [00:13:21] there understanding from the employer? Of course! Of course! We also get juices. Juices [00:13:25] and adequate breaks, but what does the law oblige the employer to [00:13:29] do when it comes to providing working conditions at high temperatures, [00:13:32] actually? There is a regulation on preventive [00:13:36] measures of safety and health at work which [00:13:40] prescribes, for example, maximum temperatures for working [00:13:43] indoors, but for outdoors there is [00:13:46] none, so everything comes down to some recommendations and [00:13:50] guidelines that the employer is not obliged to implement. [00:13:53] poslodavac nije dužan da sprove. [00:13:55] A set of such was issued by the Ministry of Labor, from the Labor Inspectorate [00:13:59] came an equally non-binding appeal that during [00:14:02] temperatures above 36 degrees outdoor work should only be [00:14:06] organized, however, if the work process allows it, [00:14:09] to avoid heavy physical work [00:14:13] and direct exposure to the sun. From another address, to the address [00:14:17] of the construction sector came a special recommendation. [00:14:20] The Ministry of Construction appealed to employers, [00:14:22] but also to employees, in the upcoming period due to [00:14:26] high temperatures to comply with the prescribed measures [00:14:29] of safety and health at work. The employer and [00:14:33] the employee are thus, explains sociologist Vladimir Simović, [00:14:36] equalized in responsibility. This is [00:14:39] cynical because employers are exclusively responsible for the organization of the work [00:14:43] process, the organization of working hours, so responsibility cannot be equally [00:14:46] distributed between employers and workers. The Law on Safety and [00:14:50] Health at Work allows a worker to refuse to work if it [00:14:54] endangers life and health, so [00:14:57] now somewhere the demarcation point would be that if everyone [00:15:00] feels bad, it means that something is not safe for health, [00:15:04] everyone could decide not to work, [00:15:08] but in that case they must immediately inform [00:15:11] the labor inspection, what is the problem is that in [00:15:15] that way the responsibility of the worker who [00:15:17] has to self-regulate is actually shifted, we know that at the moment when you [00:15:21] feel the consequences of a heat stroke, it may already be too late, what [00:15:24] we need is for the government, i.e. the state to take responsibility and say [00:15:28] that during heat waves, which will be more and more frequent, this is not [00:15:32] a temporary situation, this is something that will appear more and more often. [00:15:35] će se pojavljivati sve češće. [00:15:37] that work should actually be done either in two shifts or that work should be suspended and then [00:15:41] compensated when the temperature is more adequate, this is currently only [00:15:45] recommended. However, the employer is obliged to adopt a risk [00:15:48] assessment act, whether he complies with the law on safety and health [00:15:51] at work, regulations and rulebooks these days, the labor inspection claims that [00:15:55] it is more intensively controlling. However, workers [00:15:58] rarely dare to report violations [00:16:01] of the law. Tamara Stojanović, N1, [00:16:04] Belgrade. [00:16:08] The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia responded to N1's inquiry [00:16:12] about whether police officers provide security for controversial businessmen [00:16:15] from Kosovo, Zvonko Veselinović and Milan [00:16:18] Radojčić. The Ministry of Internal Affairs states that it does not possess [00:16:22] a document on the basis of which it could have such information. [00:16:25] Let's recall, N1 reported back in late June that [00:16:29] a member of the Belgrade Gendarmerie unit, Damjan [00:16:32] Vukićević, works as private security for Milan Radojčić, [00:16:35] who is on Interpol's red notice [00:16:39] as a suspect for organizing and participating in the armed attack in [00:16:43] Banjska. N1 also reported that another member of the Belgrade [00:16:46] Gendarmerie, Nikola Milotinović, works as [00:16:49] security for facilities on Goli [00:16:53] owned by Zvonko Veselinović, who is under sanctions [00:16:56] from the United States of America and Great [00:16:58] Britain. [00:17:02] Pink reported that he was arrested and Informer reported that a [00:17:06] weapon was seized from him. Niš opposition member Dragan [00:17:09] Milić says that none of that is true. In yesterday's [00:17:13] events followed by a conference of Niš progressives and with [00:17:17] two statements against Milić, the editor of Južne vesti recognizes [00:17:20] an ultimate campaign. [00:17:23] Niš progressives cleaned the premises from the outside, they cleaned them [00:17:27] partially. Some billboards were replaced, some [00:17:30] were not. Also, in this party, they patented something [00:17:34] that could be called secret press conferences. [00:17:37] or a conference for Informer and related media, secret [00:17:41] conferences, public police actions, and that [00:17:44] also happened yesterday in Niš, a joint action of the police and [00:17:48] Informer. It's a big coincidence that everything happened yesterday, [00:17:52] uh, two statements by the Serbian [00:17:56] Progressive Party, or one press conference, then [00:17:59] the mayor's work, and then the so-called [00:18:03] weapons affair that Informer launched. In [00:18:07] the center. Of the Informer affair, Dragan Milić. When I [00:18:10] left for work yesterday, literally half an hour before I was supposed to enter the operating [00:18:14] room, they literally ambushed [00:18:18] me to hand me a decision, not at my home [00:18:21] address, not at my work address, but in the middle [00:18:25] of the street, so that their accomplices with [00:18:28] the police, they supposedly take pictures of me from here because they [00:18:32] knew it would happen, then they take pictures of it, like [00:18:35] Milić had a large amount [00:18:37] of illegal weapons found, which is not true. What [00:18:41] is true, says Milić, is that he inherited a total of five [00:18:45] pieces of weapons from his father and uncle, and that he has permits for possession, but he found out yesterday [00:18:49] that he was missing one document. They say I don't have [00:18:52] a medical certificate, well how do I not have a medical certificate, I gave it, no [00:18:55] it expired, so I ask, why don't medical certificates exist [00:18:59] for example for five years or for four years for the President [00:19:03] of the Republic. The President of the Republic is unofficially heard to be coming to [00:19:07] Niš at the end of this week, last time he was in a tavern live on Pink, and [00:19:10] next to him, in the video, is the editor [00:19:14] of Niški Informer, Bojan Abramović, I recognize [00:19:17] him. And on Niški Informer, Milić and [00:19:20] other opposition leaders from Niš are a constant topic, also [00:19:24] these days, the Niš SNS leader and mayor Dragoslav [00:19:27] Pavlović are at the forefront of publications. Instagram [00:19:30] politician Dragan Milić spoke again, said [00:19:33] Pavlović on Instagram, both the government and the opposition say. [00:19:37] Ević these days are part of a survey conducted by the Serbian Progressive [00:19:40] Party, where it is measured who is more popular, [00:19:44] Pavlović, Milan Lazarević, Dragan Milić, Đorđe [00:19:48] Stanković, opposition members, I see it as [00:19:51] part of that, but also [00:19:54] part of the ultimate campaign that [00:19:57] lasts every day. About the mayor who doesn't invite [00:20:01] us to conferences, we don't have a chance to ask, and Milić says, they [00:20:05] perceive Serbia as their personal fiefdom. as their property, and that's why they [00:20:09] behave so shamefully. What's happening in [00:20:12] Niš, the assessment is that elections are on the horizon, and the campaign is in [00:20:16] full swing. Gordana Bjeletić, N1, [00:20:19] Niš. Public opinion research by the [00:20:22] International Republican Institute shows that [00:20:26] 49% of respondents believe that Serbia is not going in the right [00:20:30] direction, while 41% believe the opposite. Political [00:20:33] commentator Aleksandar Ivković says that this is a rough indicator, but... [00:20:37] At the same time, it is an indicator that the situation has not changed for a long [00:20:41] time. At the beginning of [00:20:43] 2025, when we had the beginning of the student [00:20:46] movement and student protests, then public [00:20:50] opinion changed significantly, but since then, in fact, those new [00:20:54] trends that emerged then have been stable, and still the largest [00:20:58] number of people believe that corruption is the biggest problem in Serbia, which [00:21:01] means a topic that broke through to first place after the collapse [00:21:05] of the canopy, before that it was not like that, before that there were economic topics, [00:21:09] during Covid, the biggest problem was the pandemic, of course, and so [00:21:12] on, but since the collapse of the canopy in all [00:21:16] major surveys that have appeared since then, corruption is [00:21:19] the biggest problem. Which is also bad news for the government, because the government [00:21:22] would like corruption not to be the main topic of the elections, because that topic works [00:21:26] against them. [00:21:30] One image from Mrkonjić Grad and a completely opposite one [00:21:33] from Knin and 31 years after Operation Storm take us back to [00:21:37] the past, but above all to the reality of relations between Serbia and [00:21:40] Croatia. Was President [00:21:43] the commemorative gathering on the Day of Remembrance conciliatory [00:21:47] in line with his countless times repeated [00:21:50] message that for Serbia the most important things are peace and stability in [00:21:54] the region. Three decades and a year [00:21:58] later, there is still no way out of [00:22:01] the storm. There is no consensus between sorrow on [00:22:04] one side and celebration on the other. There is only [00:22:07] talk. With an introduction with a short electoral message, [00:22:11] the President of Serbia first emotionally addressed Nevenka Dobrić, [00:22:15] the mother of twelve-year-old Siniša, killed in August [00:22:18] '95. And why am I speaking for the last time as President [00:22:21] of the Republic, [00:22:24] I'm sorry, Nevenka, on behalf of all citizens of Serbia, on behalf of all Serbs [00:22:28] from Serbia, that Serbia was weak, that it [00:22:31] was silent, that it hid you, that it was silent about [00:22:34] crimes, that it didn't let you come to Belgrade, that [00:22:38] it removed you from the highways, forgive [00:22:42] us, [00:22:44] we will not forgive ourselves your tears [00:22:48] in Siniša Dobrić's eyes. then, with the statement that some others [00:22:51] are waiting for the second half while Belgrade wants peace, Vučić [00:22:55] concluded that Serbia will never again allow any [00:22:58] storms, and then moved on to possessive adjectives and nicknames. [00:23:02] They could never stand Serbs, they did not make geographical [00:23:06] definitions, but they said, [00:23:10] used possessive adjectives, and it was always [00:23:14] Croatian Serb, we are neither Croatian, nor [00:23:17] Bosnian, nor Serbian. "We are only [00:23:20] Serbs, we belong to the same people, we will always [00:23:24] belong, and don't divide us, don't [00:23:27] invent names for us, so that we don't start inventing [00:23:31] names for you." Another manipulation with cheap phrases [00:23:34] that sound, but carry no meaning, with these [00:23:38] words historian Milan Steprotić assessed the speech [00:23:41] of Vučić in Mrkonjićgrad, it is the empty talk of [00:23:44] Šešelj that we heard, heard, [00:23:47] heard in the 90s and later, always [00:23:51] the same story that [00:23:54] incites and poisons this unfortunate [00:23:57] people on both sides of the Drina, there is [00:24:01] nothing smart, nothing [00:24:04] fundamental, nothing visionary, and there is [00:24:07] nothing sincere either. Official Belgrade this August 4th [00:24:11] paid far more attention to the storm than it did [00:24:14] last year, notes historian Hrvoje [00:24:18] Klasić. I think the reason is very clear, it is the current [00:24:22] situation in Serbia, the elections that are coming, and [00:24:25] Aleksandar Vučić is now walking around Serbia, around [00:24:28] the region, uh, playing the role of a great [00:24:32] savior, a Messiah, uh, [00:24:35] uh, a brave Serbian leader, who will never again [00:24:38] allow any storms, but that, let me remind people, he [00:24:42] said that in '95 in Glina, and what needs to be said or [00:24:45] done to find a way out of [00:24:48] the storm, each of those nations must look at itself in the [00:24:51] mirror, each of those nations, not [00:24:55] to look over the fence, not to [00:25:06] on August 4th remembers the victims and exiles in the storm, [00:25:09] Croatia celebrates a day later. The state celebration [00:25:12] of Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day was held in Knin. The state leadership [00:25:16] and numerous citizens paid tribute to the fallen, missing... as well as [00:25:20] Croatian veterans, not mentioning a single word, [00:25:23] Serbian victims and displaced persons. [00:25:27] Operation Storm was a brilliant military victory, [00:25:31] a legitimate liberation operation and the crowning [00:25:34] achievement of Croatia's struggle for freedom. Under the leadership [00:25:38] of the first Croatian president, Dr. Franjo Tuđman, [00:25:41] Croatian veterans, soldiers and police officers [00:25:44] liberated most of the occupied territory in just a few days [00:25:47] and enabled the return [00:25:50] of refugees to their homes. Operation Storm [00:25:53] saved Bihać from a threatening humanitarian [00:25:56] catastrophe, changed the balance of power in Bosnia and [00:26:00] Herzegovina and opened the way for peace [00:26:03] and the Dayton Agreement. Croatia is not competing [00:26:07] with anyone in armament. We [00:26:09] are not threatening anyone, but we are not afraid [00:26:12] of anyone. To every threat we will know [00:26:15] how to respond. Croatia will never again be unprepared [00:26:19] or unprotected. [00:26:21] If we want peace, we must be able to defend [00:26:24] it. The Metropolitanate [00:26:26] of Montenegro and the Littoral of the Serbian Orthodox Church reacted to a series of [00:26:30] statements by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, in which, as they state, [00:26:34] he made several inappropriate, unacceptable accusations in recent days. [00:26:37] In its statement, the Metropolitanate states that Vučić's [00:26:41] vague criticisms at the expense of the church are harmful, [00:26:45] and that, as he said, the church had ideas that were wicked and [00:26:48] dangerous, and that some of those were thwarted by Patriarch Irinej and the bishops [00:26:52] by sensing what was going on in time. [00:26:55] The Metropolitanate also referred to Vučić's mention of the processions from [00:26:58] 2020. In the context that they were launched [00:27:02] when they wanted the Orthodox Church in Montenegro to just erase the word [00:27:05] "Serbian", reminding him that it was precisely the believers of the Serbian Orthodox Church [00:27:09] in Montenegro who defended the integrity and property [00:27:13] of the church from the attacks of the then Montenegrin political [00:27:16] leadership. [00:27:18] Owners of demolished buildings on the shore of Lake Gazivode have started receiving [00:27:22] bills for demolition costs, says lawyer Dragutin [00:27:25] Nenezić, who represents some of the owners, explaining that [00:27:29] the company Ibar Lepenac continues the proceedings despite [00:27:33] ongoing court disputes, adding that apart from statements [00:27:36] from the international community, there have been no concrete steps that would [00:27:40] stop the demolition or protect the property [00:27:43] of the owners. Basically, they [00:27:47] receive uh one [00:27:50] document from, that is, two from [00:27:54] the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, [00:27:58] one is a monetary fine of 2,000 EUR. [00:28:03] Uh, for which people initially thought were some demolition costs, so that's actually some kind of [00:28:07] offense, uh [00:28:09] and the second is a decision on the removal of the object [00:28:13] and both are received [00:28:16] due to construction in a protected zone, and the zone [00:28:20] is, as we know, uh protected since the end of [00:28:23] 2025. So quite since [00:28:26] the last of these weekend houses [00:28:29] were built and people have a deadline of 30 days to... return it, there [00:28:33] is also a deadline for an appeal for those who want to appeal, [00:28:36] so we will certainly appeal, and [00:28:40] then we will see how that goes, which is quite problematic, [00:28:44] because this inspectorate suddenly appears [00:28:48] which had never appeared before, meaning [00:28:51] Ibar Lepenac appeared with some of its letters, now [00:28:54] somehow that quasi-proceeding that [00:28:58] Ibar Lepenac was conducting is being attempted to be masked [00:29:01] proceeding led by that inspectorate which is appearing for the first time, since everything is already [00:29:05] demolished. The special envoy of the European Union for [00:29:09] the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, Peter Sorensen, stated that a new [00:29:13] high-level meeting between Albin Kurti and Aleksandar Vučić [00:29:17] will be organized only when both sides are ready to achieve [00:29:21] concrete results. As he stated, Kosovo has an obligation to [00:29:24] immediately start negotiations on concrete arrangements and [00:29:27] guarantees for an adequate level of self-governance for the Serbian [00:29:31] community, while Serbia parallelly has obligations, [00:29:34] including not opposing Kosovo's membership in international [00:29:37] organizations and accepting Kosovo's documents [00:29:40] and symbols. He assessed that both sides were late [00:29:44] in fulfilling these [00:29:45] obligations. [00:29:51] The Basic Court in Novi Sad reinstated Professor Jovina Gimnazija Rima Grujić. However, she [00:29:54] did not return to the [00:29:58] classroom. Decisions for other suspended professors are still [00:30:01] awaited. Meanwhile, a new question arises: whether [00:30:05] Jovina Gymnasium could be, as the relevant minister says, [00:30:08] returned to the Serbian Orthodox [00:30:10] Church. [00:30:13] Behind the doors of the impressive building in the center of Novi Sad from [00:30:16] 1900, answers are fewer and fewer. After [00:30:19] months of conflict between the management of Jovina Gimnazija and parents [00:30:22] and teachers, the padlock remained on the school, and the minister [00:30:26] claims to have the key to exiting the crisis. This is [00:30:29] a gymnasium founded by the Serbian Orthodox Church. Perhaps the solution [00:30:33] for Jovina Gimnazija is to return it to the church [00:30:37] which would establish a good order there, an order that [00:30:40] he says would bring both educational and spiritual dimensions [00:30:43] to the school which suffers the blows of daily politics. It was [00:30:47] precisely that statement that opened a new question: on what basis do [00:30:51] such claims rest, because what we know and what we have investigated [00:30:54] earlier these days is that [00:30:58] the gymnasium was founded.
