[00:00:00] will be told by our meteorologist Bojan [00:00:02] month, the workers are currently on Lipovčak. [00:00:04] Good evening, what kind of weather awaits [00:00:07] us tomorrow on Sunday, and most of [00:00:11] next week. We are still [00:00:15] under pressure [00:00:19] north of the Alps, which is rapidly moving over our [00:00:22] inland areas bringing a slight [00:00:26] cooling inland behind the front, intensifying. [00:00:30] high pressure, so we will continue with [00:00:34] stable, sunny, warm [00:00:37] weather, today [00:00:40] it was hot, [00:00:43] tomorrow it will not be as hot due to [00:00:47] the passage of that cold front which will affect most of [00:00:51] the interior and reduce air temperature, [00:00:54] thunderstorms are possible tomorrow [00:00:57] in most of the interior. [00:01:01] Locally there will be abundant [00:01:04] rain accompanied by showers of almost tropical [00:01:08] characteristics. Morning temperatures in [00:01:11] the interior are finally pleasant for [00:01:15] sleeping with temperatures below and up to [00:01:18] 20°C, however, on the Adriatic, it is still [00:01:22] a very warm night with air temperatures [00:01:25] from 28 to 29, locally even [00:01:28] 30° Celsius, which is a consequence of [00:01:32] the Föhn wind and its heating effect [00:01:36] on the atmosphere. The highest daily temperatures [00:01:39] in most of [00:01:41] like someone to ask that at the interior around 30° while on the [00:01:44] Adriatic, temperatures will remain up to [00:01:47] 37. On the northern [00:01:49] Adriatic, especially in the Podvalebitska coast, [00:01:53] strong, locally stormy gusts of bura, while [00:01:57] that bura will slowly spread. [00:02:00] towards the middle Adriatic, on [00:02:04] the southern Adriatic, the Lebić wind will blow. Further [00:02:08] development of the weather situation is again under [00:02:10] the influence of the arrival of warm air [00:02:14] of African origin which will again [00:02:17] move across Italy to reach our regions. [00:02:20] This cold air which has currently [00:02:24] slightly moved the heat wave south [00:02:27] from... "it sailed east [00:02:31] and affects mainly [00:02:34] over Russia and [00:02:36] Ukraine, if we look at [00:02:39] air temperatures, they will [00:02:42] drop slightly on Saturday insignificantly inland, [00:02:46] so we will reach temperatures below 30°, around [00:02:50] 27, short-term showers and [00:02:53] thunderstorms can be expected on Saturday, after that [00:02:56] from Sunday, Monday onwards, temperatures will rise again [00:03:00] to values of [00:03:01] 35-36°C, [00:03:04] which means the heat wave is returning, [00:03:08] on the Adriatic it's almost as if we won't [00:03:11] even feel this cooling, a little [00:03:15] bit on Saturday and [00:03:19] accompanied by a breeze that will stir up the sea a little, [00:03:22] so the air temperature, water temperature will drop a little [00:03:26] due to the rising colder... [00:03:30] layers from the deep, so we expect [00:03:33] sea temperatures from 25 to [00:03:36] 27°. [00:03:40] In short, variable cloudy weather today [00:03:43] and tomorrow rare showers and [00:03:46] thunderstorms, bura and jugo on the Adriatic, a little colder inland, but on [00:03:49] the Adriatic the heat wave [00:03:53] continues its effect. [00:03:56] The ultraviolet index is high and very high, and [00:03:59] a real change in weather can be expected only in about [00:04:03] 10 to 12 days. [00:04:06] Dear viewers, we have reached the end of [00:05:11] It's time to review the press, that is, to see which topics [00:05:14] the press is writing about. Our guest this morning is sociologist Ivan Živkov, good day [00:05:18] to you, thank you for being here, good morning, uh, and [00:05:22] the news that resonates with [00:05:24] reason, we can start exactly from [00:05:27] that, it's the attack on the director and [00:05:31] professor of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts Stevan Filipović [00:05:34] in the center of Belgrade, he says "hired thugs of the government kicked [00:05:38] and beat me with a metal chair," several serious [00:05:42] injuries, which is why the prosecution launched an investigation, [00:05:45] opposition parties called out and labeled the president of the republic as the main [00:05:48] inspirer of the attack, [00:05:50] so [00:05:53] this is certainly one of the situations [00:05:57] which, by its very, let's say, [00:06:00] title, uh must worry [00:06:03] everyone, you are right, violence [00:06:06] unfortunately has been present for a very long time in our society, [00:06:09] our streets, our political sphere, it does not [00:06:13] subside, it is encouraged from the top [00:06:15] of power, because it is not sanctioned, [00:06:19] but encouraged, let's remember the bloody [00:06:23] shirts and the attack on Borko Stefanović, [00:06:26] let's remember that writer Vladimir Arsenijević was recently beaten, [00:06:29] we know that not only is it not sanctioned or those who beat [00:06:32] people in the streets are not found, but those who were [00:06:36] caught in the act are even pardoned, for example [00:06:39] those who... beat up a girl, [00:06:43] a student some time ago, we know that [00:06:46] in the end the perpetrators were [00:06:49] acquitted, is this [00:06:52] part of some usual, so to speak, [00:06:56] pre-election movement or [00:06:59] shall we joke, folklore here? Well, if [00:07:02] this is before the elections, we can only ask ourselves and [00:07:06] be afraid of what awaits us when the campaign [00:07:09] really starts, we see therefore that the thugs. [00:07:13] "are harnessed, that they are ready, we know that we [00:07:16] have seen violent scenes during previous election campaigns [00:07:19] on election day, this act is like some [00:07:23] military exercise, like some [00:07:26] warm-up, unfortunately we can expect that [00:07:29] violence will intensify when [00:07:33] the election campaign officially begins, that official part is [00:07:36] actually, how should I say, an additional weight in [00:07:40] the whole story, since..." "elections are being sought, [00:07:44] mentioned, announced for quite some time, [00:07:47] however, apart from some rough outlines, we have [00:07:50] no uh, no tangible [00:07:53] timeframe when that could happen, does that actually [00:07:56] raise some tension in society, how much is society already [00:08:00] additionally divided and additionally [00:08:03] burdened by this now actually [00:08:06] and we actually know when the regular election [00:08:10] terms are constitutional, legal..." So by [00:08:12] spring next year we must get a new president [00:08:16] of the republic, that's what must happen, and [00:08:19] the opposition, i.e. students and the president of the republic himself [00:08:23] have repeatedly said that there will also be extraordinary parliamentary elections, so [00:08:26] in the next ten months we [00:08:30] will certainly have some kind of voting, now the question [00:08:33] is whether it will be elections or quasi-elections, but [00:08:37] I expect to resolve a two-year political crisis. [00:08:40] "with the caveat that resolution does not mean that [00:08:43] it will be overcome, mhm, a deep crisis in [00:08:46] which Serbia can be resolved, [00:08:49] if there is a change of government, if [00:08:52] the rule of law functions and if Serbia makes [00:08:56] certain changes, unfortunately, [00:09:00] resolution can also be without overcoming the crisis, in such [00:09:03] a way that it is frozen and prolonged for a longer [00:09:06] period of time, if the Serbian [00:09:09] Progressive Party..." Aleksandar Vučić renews his mandate, [00:09:13] if he truly becomes the new prime minister, [00:09:17] then we can expect a [00:09:20] systemic, well I would even call it terror, [00:09:23] not just repression, something that until now [00:09:27] was only seen in Asiatic despotisms, [00:09:30] but given the political character of this government, it [00:09:34] is not unexpected, especially if it succeeds [00:09:37] in extending its mandate, to enter the 17th, 18th [00:09:41] year of rule without real legitimacy, that is, [00:09:44] to rule without the majority support [00:09:47] of voters. Uh, how much, you just said in the next [00:09:51] 10 months we can expect how much we [00:09:54] as a state, as a society [00:09:58] are actually ready, able to even [00:10:02] push through those 10 months to some kind of [00:10:05] resolution? Is it necessary for it to happen [00:10:08] earlier? That is now a big question, what we [00:10:12] saw in the previous two years [00:10:15] indicated that we are a little bit ready, a little bit not ready, and [00:10:19] I think that this maneuvering with calling [00:10:22] elections by the authorities is precisely because such [00:10:25] information reaches them, that public opinion polls [00:10:28] show that there are moments when [00:10:32] the majority of citizens are ready for change, but [00:10:36] there are some indicators where that enthusiasm for [00:10:39] change decreases, which gives hope [00:10:43] to the authorities that with some delay and some good timing [00:10:47] they can win the next elections. What [00:10:51] worries me is how those [00:10:54] who want change behave, honestly I expected [00:10:58] a more serious reaction [00:11:01] from people in the judiciary when Mrdić's laws were adopted, [00:11:05] however, we saw that prosecutors and judges did not react [00:11:08] much. We now see disciplinary action [00:11:12] in education, this law [00:11:15] which is, through the back door, practically without public [00:11:17] debate, is intended [00:11:21] to be adopted before the start of the new school year... [00:11:25] shows that teachers, if they were to, for example, [00:11:28] stop working as they did in 2025, [00:11:31] will lose their licenses, which means they will lose not only their jobs, [00:11:35] but also the possibility to work at all in education, this [00:11:38] means that very likely under [00:11:41] fear and under the pressure of that knowledge [00:11:45] they will not even enter into work stoppages. [00:11:48] These are all preparations for [00:11:51] a repression in case of [00:11:55] disputes over election results. [00:11:58] Let's do a thought experiment, [00:12:01] the electoral conditions, and in general the social conditions in Serbia [00:12:04] are not at all better than they were in the previous [00:12:08] elections in 2023. One can even say that they have [00:12:11] worsened due to the campaign of officials, the electoral [00:12:15] roll, the abuse of resources, the situation in the media, [00:12:18] the import of voters, everything else we had then, we have now, [00:12:22] nothing has improved. "We [00:12:25] know how the majority that protests and [00:12:28] wants change reacted to repression, [00:12:31] by withdrawing, uh, I just mentioned the [00:12:35] judicial sector, and then I mentioned [00:12:38] education, no one [00:12:41] went on strike in the public sector, we know [00:12:44] that hundreds of thousands of people were on the streets, the protests [00:12:48] lasted for a very long time, not a single public company, [00:12:52] neither local nor state, managed to organize [00:12:56] a strike for even two days, so the government is encouraged [00:12:59] that these people who want change, [00:13:03] people who do not want to leave their comfort zone, [00:13:07] who are okay with gathering once a month [00:13:11] at a large rally in Belgrade or walking in some protest [00:13:14] marches on Saturday or Sunday evening, but they do not want to leave [00:13:17] their comfort zone, they do not want to risk their jobs, their [00:13:21] salaries, this is an indicator that an [00:13:25] authoritarian violent government can maintain itself in such a way, [00:13:28] even if it does not have electoral [00:13:31] legitimacy, I say, a thought experiment, what [00:13:34] if on election day at 9 PM [00:13:38] the president, now of the republic, then probably won't be, [00:13:40] appears and declares an election [00:13:44] victory, even if he didn't win, what [00:13:47] awaits us, a reaction on the street where we saw [00:13:50] that the side that wants change is not ready to respond [00:13:54] to violence with violence, we also saw that the regime [00:13:57] is very resilient and capable of enduring [00:14:00] extremely long and strong pressures of street [00:14:03] demonstrations, thus entering into that [00:14:07] phase of frozen crisis, but an unchanged [00:14:10] government, as in every other case, a frozen situation is not [00:14:14] a good situation, uh the focus is on security and concrete [00:14:17] results, writes Politika and says "what does the composite sketch [00:14:21] of an average Serbian voter look like, living standard is the most important thing that interests [00:14:25] voters in any part of Serbia," research shows that for [00:14:28] voters it is much more important to see what has been [00:14:31] done, interlocutor Predrag Lacmanović says [00:14:34] for Politika, that at this moment [00:14:38] do we generally have such frameworks, so [00:14:42] to speak, programmatic or is [00:14:45] the atmosphere completely referendum-like when it comes to [00:14:48] elections? The atmosphere is referendum-like in the part [00:14:51] of the public that is somehow informed. "However, we [00:14:55] have at least one third of citizens who are not well [00:14:59] informed about what is happening in this country, how [00:15:02] the authorities behave, what are the consequences [00:15:05] of their actions, and because of that, the election [00:15:09] result is not what it should be in a democratic world, [00:15:13] the free expression of the democratic will [00:15:16] of citizens, it will be a counting of some [00:15:19] votes, but it will not be real elections, for example [00:15:23] if I say that it is scandalous..." [00:15:25] The fact that Veselin Milić returned to work while [00:15:29] Katarina Petrović is still [00:15:31] suspended is a problem because [00:15:35] at least a third of Serbia's citizens, due to their [00:15:38] misinformation, have no idea who Veselin [00:15:41] Milić is, who Katarina Petrović is, or why it's a problem that he [00:15:44] returned to work while she's still suspended. How can we even talk [00:15:48] about elections in such conditions and what's important to the voter? [00:15:52] That's not a voter because they're not properly informed. [00:15:55] Uh, to what extent can [00:15:58] the announced visit of Volodymyr Zelenskyy to [00:16:02] Belgrade be equated? Can that [00:16:06] have a connection with the elections? It certainly has [00:16:09] a connection with some international position [00:16:12] of Serbia, so it's an interesting visit [00:16:16] and politically very significant, I [00:16:19] would like, for example, your colleagues when [00:16:22] Vučić and Zelenskyy appear together, to ask Vučić [00:16:26] in front of Zelenskyy and the guest, why, for example, [00:16:30] uh the authorities of the Republic [00:16:33] of Serbia believe that those who say that Serbia [00:16:37] needs a Euromaidan are undermining the constitutional order and committing [00:16:41] a criminal offense, when Volodymyr [00:16:44] Zelenskyy, Volodimir, excuse me, Volodimir [00:16:47] Zelenskyy, uh, the successor of, [00:16:51] uh, the government that came after the Euromaidan [00:16:54] and after that revolution that is negatively and [00:16:57] suspiciously presented here as a colored revolution. [00:17:01] So, why has President Vučić repeatedly and this [00:17:05] government said that Serbia does not need a Ukrainian scenario and that [00:17:09] what happened in Ukraine was bad, and now [00:17:12] he is hosting the president of Ukraine, how does [00:17:15] that go together, so I would [00:17:19] that press conference which I assume will be [00:17:22] organized, and from that we would see [00:17:25] answers that would be politically [00:17:28] significant, if no one asks [00:17:31] such a thing, then it is a ceremonial [00:17:34] visit by which Vučić shows [00:17:38] the European Union [00:17:42] that he is changing course towards [00:17:45] Russia, which will be recorded somewhere in a report and praised, [00:17:49] just as the amendments to [00:17:52] Mrdić's laws were praised, as if they [00:17:54] were imposed on this government or fell from [00:17:58] Mars, and then the authorities heroically [00:18:01] changed them, actually it is a [00:18:04] maneuver that gives the possibility [00:18:07] to the Brussels administration to put a "plus" [00:18:10] on this, whether it is actually a maneuver or [00:18:14] a fundamental change and a turnaround [00:18:17] in this international policy is difficult to [00:18:20] assess, international circumstances are [00:18:23] changing, perhaps in some future period [00:18:27] there will be some serious change in Serbia's foreign policy [00:18:30] at this moment, it is certainly a [00:18:34] well-thought-out move that [00:18:36] earns credit from Western partners, i.e., from [00:18:40] the European Union, so that they might turn a blind eye to [00:18:44] what kind of elections will be held here, because if [00:18:47] you align your security foreign policy with the European [00:18:50] Union, if you turn a blind eye to what is happening in [00:18:54] Kosovo, then you get some pluses [00:18:58] and then they will perhaps overlook it more if you [00:19:01] carry out some electoral violence here and declare victory even if you [00:19:05] didn't win, that's my opinion. "Whether [00:19:08] there will be any change in [00:19:11] Serbia's foreign policy depends primarily on what kind [00:19:14] of government this country will form and [00:19:18] what kind of policy it will generally pursue [00:19:21] towards the European Union and towards other [00:19:25] factors on the international scene. Regarding concrete [00:19:28] meetings, there has been talk many times about Zelenskyy [00:19:31] with Vučić, i.e., representatives of [00:19:35] Serbia, it was even announced at least once [00:19:38] that he would come to Belgrade, but that [00:19:41] did not happen. Is this now, if [00:19:44] it is indeed about a maneuver, actually a kind of [00:19:47] service to the authorities in Serbia to host such [00:19:51] a prominent guest, who in Europe is a symbol [00:19:54] now of that [00:19:57] geopolitical conflict between East and West, [00:20:01] that with his arrival here it is actually [00:20:04] conveyed that Serbia is also a kind of reliable partner, despite [00:20:08] all the criticisms we receive from Europe. It can [00:20:12] be interpreted that way, although I think that Zelenskyy goes wherever [00:20:16] doors are open to him, he is in a position to seek help at [00:20:20] every address. Uh, Serbia [00:20:22] has long been required to behave that way, so [00:20:26] I think the timing of that meeting [00:20:29] is chosen. Recently, Vučić himself was in Kyiv. Recently, [00:20:33] the Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament was also here. So that's [00:20:37] a process that could have happened four years ago, and three, and [00:20:41] two, when other European countries that [00:20:45] sincerely support Ukraine and the Ukrainian people after the Russian [00:20:48] aggression did. "This regime is doing this just [00:20:51] before the elections, obviously, insincerely, [00:20:55] wanting to wink at the European [00:20:58] Union to blunt the edge [00:21:02] of criticism that, which it probably expects [00:21:05] after the elections and post-election processes in [00:21:08] Serbia. What has been announced and happening over [00:21:12] the past weeks and months, including [00:21:16] financial aid, so to speak, a helicopter [00:21:20] which is announced for autumn, sometime in [00:21:24] September, a move that only helps short-term, [00:21:28] writes today, and again they refer to certain [00:21:31] public opinion polls where they say that regarding [00:21:35] the rating of the Serbian Progressive Party, nothing is happening, also [00:21:39] Nova writes about it that it is not yet certain whether all [00:21:42] the partners currently gathered [00:21:45] for the SNS will participate in those elections when they [00:21:49] happen, and the SPS is mentioned there, so [00:21:53] whether they will go independently or with them, is that another [00:21:55] part of the story about stirring things up before [00:21:59] the elections, or does that mean that they will happen, for example, this [00:22:03] year? Well, you know, that bribing [00:22:06] of the electorate is a regular phenomenon in Serbia, [00:22:10] but we didn't invent it. I am sure that those who [00:22:13] will resort to that measure, that helicopter [00:22:17] money or other types of increased pensions, salaries [00:22:20] and everything else that is usually done, will do so [00:22:23] because some research and some experience show them that [00:22:27] it still helps, if nothing else, it doesn't hurt, [00:22:30] it's always better if the government gives than if [00:22:34] it doesn't, if nothing else, some voters won't cross [00:22:38] over to the opposing camp, but let me go back to [00:22:41] my disappointment with this [00:22:44] Serbian elite, because you just reminded me again [00:22:48] of the workers, employees in education, [00:22:51] uh, by chance I read some data [00:22:55] on membership in education unions where [00:22:58] we had those so-called [00:23:01] representative unions that, at the time of the biggest rebellion [00:23:04] of precisely teachers who joined [00:23:07] students, called not to [00:23:10] stop working, but to start the second semester because they negotiated [00:23:13] in those days with this government a 5% [00:23:17] increase in wages, uh [00:23:20] "those unions that, at a time when Vučić's [00:23:24] chair was shaking the most, went to his couch, who [00:23:27] negotiated with Slavica Đukić Dejanović, Miloš [00:23:30] Vučević, and now continue cooperation with Dejan [00:23:34] Vuk Stanković on this absurd law, [00:23:38] are not unions that educators massively [00:23:41] left, and why not? Because in the meantime, [00:23:44] a collective agreement was adopted which precisely ensures full [00:23:48] jubilee awards and severance pay for members of those [00:23:51] unions, and if you are not members of those unions, then [00:23:55] you do not receive that, this shows me that even that layer [00:23:58] of the population that is highly educated, that calls itself [00:24:01] enlighteners, that is not even socially [00:24:04] vulnerable, despite the fact that salaries in education are lower [00:24:07] than they should be, but these are still not socially vulnerable people, that [00:24:11] even they are prone to corruption, [00:24:14] that the government knows that very well, it pays [00:24:18] them... more, recently, it seems to me [00:24:21] Kokan Mladenović spoke about it in the sphere of [00:24:24] culture, why there is no greater rebellion, there are no [00:24:28] premieres, no plays, things are done [00:24:31] as they should, but the salary has not dropped, the salary [00:24:34] is even increasing, so of course there is no stimulant for [00:24:38] a greater rebellion, and the government knows that, it knows what kind [00:24:42] of people it is dealing with, and that's why it [00:24:44] behaves that way, let me recall the late Balašević [00:24:48] who said that the problem is not always with such a government, but often [00:24:51] the problem is with the people who are so easily [00:24:54] ruled. [00:24:57] Since their June advance was reduced by 25%, employees at [00:25:00] Zastava Arms say in the union, they were left without an advance for [00:25:04] July, which they did not receive by August [00:25:07] 5th, why our reporter Nataša [00:25:10] Lazarević is checking. Nataša, do we know the reason for such [00:25:14] a decision and such [00:25:15] an event? [00:25:19] Well, it seems to me. Officially no, considering that there are no [00:25:23] official answers from the Zastava Arms factory nor [00:25:26] any information about all the events that have [00:25:30] afflicted the Kragujevac arms factory, and [00:25:33] the situation is really bad, say the workers in [00:25:37] the unions, but well-informed people who have been following the [00:25:40] defense industry for decades, say that the situation has never [00:25:44] been worse in the last few decades, it has not happened [00:25:47] until now, at least, I would say... in that previous period of [00:25:51] maybe ten years, that workers did not receive their wages, so we will remind you that the [00:25:55] June one was reduced by 25%, but [00:25:58] it was compensated through the second part of the salary, i.e., through the payment of, uh, last [00:26:04] collective leave, we said then when we reported on that 25% reduction [00:26:08] that they were going on that leave with a heavy heart because they really don't know what [00:26:11] awaits them, well, they were met with that on August 5th. [00:26:15] in August did not receive an advance at all. Now, [00:26:18] in public, there are stories that the unions are silent, the employees are silent, because being [00:26:22] on collective vacation means that you are not interested in [00:26:25] the situation in the factory, your salary, or are these actually [00:26:28] just, let's say, evil tongues? [00:26:32] Of course, as far as we, the unions, are concerned, we [00:26:36] are certainly not silent, but the situation is such that we are on collective [00:26:39] vacation, that the people of the union board have gone, [00:26:43] gone on vacation to rest, and we are not, we are not, how should I say, [00:26:47] in a position to react. Today we are still [00:26:51] on collective vacation, from Monday we start working. Uh, we have [00:26:54] uh convened the union board early tomorrow morning to [00:26:58] see what we will do next and how we will, how we will [00:27:01] get out of this crisis. And what is, in a way, we have now [00:27:05] recalled, and we talked, you and I, maybe twenty days ago, [00:27:08] a month ago, when there was that reduction of the advance. Uh, you were, [00:27:12] let's say, afraid of what would happen with the next salary, considering [00:27:16] that the management did not give you any guarantees whether there would be money, whether the salaries would be [00:27:20] paid. That's right, we went on vacation with fear that [00:27:23] this would happen, what happened, that the management, the executive board, would not [00:27:27] find uh money [00:27:31] for the payment. The advance which was on August 5th, well, it happened. [00:27:35] Uh, to the question, to the question of our [00:27:38] union, to the question why there is no money, the general director said because [00:27:41] of cash flow and lack of contracts that within 10 days [00:27:44] uh he would solve that problem. We, as a union, [00:27:48] will not wait those 10 days. We will react immediately on Monday, [00:27:51] immediately, uh, radicalize, and [00:27:54] we will see, we will see what we will do, what will happen with the people, the people [00:27:58] whose will is more important for us to create. Our [00:28:02] our plans, we will remind you that the situation in [00:28:06] which the factory finds itself followed after the ban on arms exports [00:28:09] from Serbia, by the decision [00:28:12] of our state, on the recommendation of President Aleksandar Vučić, [00:28:16] that was abolished, but the consequences are still being felt. So, [00:28:20] uh, there are many [00:28:23] contracts that were canceled after that export ban, [00:28:26] and is that one of the reasons why the factory [00:28:30] is now in trouble, but actually the workers are in trouble [00:28:34] in the first place, who are not receiving the basic, their salary. That's right, [00:28:37] that export ban of almost eight months has put [00:28:40] us, how should I say, in an even more difficult situation, uh, and [00:28:44] I hope that the contracts will be, and that [00:28:48] for this, for this situation in the factory, someone will have to be held accountable. [00:28:51] There will be the supervisory board which delegates [00:28:55] which ministry, uh, the supervisory board delegates the executive board, [00:28:58] so we will demand accountability, we will demand some changes that, that... [00:29:02] which we believe led to this situation. Have you [00:29:05] spoken to the general director? Actually, you just mentioned that you asked [00:29:09] why, that you called him and asked. Was there any notification at all that [00:29:12] the workers would not receive salaries, that you would not receive this advance? They [00:29:16] put some information on the notice [00:29:19] boards in the factory, uh, [00:29:23] they didn't inform the unions that there would be, that there would not be [00:29:26] a payment on the fifth. Uh, we believe that this is a great [00:29:29] irresponsibility towards our members and towards [00:29:32] our workers that it is announced in such a way uh that there will not [00:29:36] be, there will not be an advance in the fifth month. Uh, we spoke [00:29:40] with the general director, he said that he had not found, that the conditions had not been [00:29:43] met, that he had not found money for the payment, that it would be [00:29:47] within those 10 days. Finally, I will ask you, considering that information appears in the public [00:29:50] that when there were rallies of the Serbian Progressive Party in the previous period, [00:29:54] information was mentioned that some [00:29:57] workers of Zastava Oružje anonymously testified [00:30:00] or reported, uh... that they were called to [00:30:04] attend rallies of the Serbian Progressive Party [00:30:07] and that somewhere, considering that that quota was not met when it comes to this factory, [00:30:11] that this is perhaps now with these salaries some punishment [00:30:15] for the workers. How do you in the Union view this? Did you [00:30:19] receive those complaints from some employees, uh? [00:30:22] Officially, we did not. Uh, many people are also [00:30:26] afraid to say. We publicly released information that every [00:30:29] type of mobbing and in that way. The way pressure [00:30:33] is exerted, to contact the union, that we will provide maximum assistance, legal [00:30:36] assistance. They did not contact us, as I [00:30:39] said, possibly because of that fear, but I [00:30:43] don't believe that it's because the quota, the quota [00:30:47] of 400-500 people was not met, and that's why we don't have, [00:30:50] we don't have a salary today. We are financed mostly from [00:30:54] our own funds and from contracts and from all [00:30:57] those, as I said.
