[00:08:27] That's it for the moment, for more details and live streaming blog to our website [00:08:31] pakistantv.com. Take [00:08:33] care. [00:09:10] Hello and welcome to experts corner, this is my. Well let's take a look again at what is [00:09:14] really happening when it comes to US and Iran uh Trump [00:09:17] reiterates talks with Iran are really going well and a hormous deal as [00:09:21] underw when it comes to Iran and Oman there are also report [00:09:24] reports that concerns over depletion the munitions have [00:09:28] caused major contributions in the decision of Trump not [00:09:32] attacking Iran right now Iranian army on the other hand says it is fully prepared [00:09:36] it is pursuing um the operational [00:09:40] readiness if needed. Now there are also encouraging signals [00:09:44] at the same time when it comes to mediation efforts and diplomatic [00:09:47] efforts, but the true test would would [00:09:51] actually be the concrete actions that come from both these sites. [00:09:55] This would be the first segment of our program, the second segment the program would [00:09:59] be Indian involvement in terrorism on foreign soil. [00:10:02] India's eleged involvement in operations on foreign soil has spark [00:10:06] massive debate in recent years and the matter gained global attention when the [00:10:10] US and Canadian side openly and publicly linked Indian officials to a [00:10:14] plot targeting seek activists. now these developments have [00:10:18] triggered diplomatic tensions, raise serious concerns over [00:10:22] sovereignty and international law as well. but While India rejects these [00:10:26] claims is yet another incident, a un rights experts have urged [00:10:29] Canada to take all feasible measures in order to save the life [00:10:33] of seek activist Muninder Singh, this [00:10:37] and lot more will be discussed in tonight's show, for details and analysis, we've been [00:10:41] joined by Jaward Tami in our studio, Fatma Shahi Zoom and Mr. [00:10:45] Temor Shafer, political analyst professor Moscow State Lingar [00:10:49] Wistic University joining us from Russia, thank you so much all of you for [00:10:52] joining in, thank you. Mr. Shaffir, [00:10:56] starting with you when we look at the US and Iran tension and the [00:11:00] latest efforts of diplomacy taking place. Do you [00:11:03] think it's going to be a strategic reset this time or is it [00:11:07] again a pause? We hope very much, thank you, we hope [00:11:11] very much that it will be a strategic ending the conflict, [00:11:15] but at the same time we understand that it can [00:11:19] be one the following steps leading to [00:11:22] this ending the conflict for for. now currently we see [00:11:26] not the situation when we meet a [00:11:30] finalized peace document or [00:11:32] finalized settled agreement on the peace [00:11:35] between the United States and Iran, but we see a limited [00:11:39] attempt to establish a certain, I would say certain [00:11:43] regime of sea trade where which will [00:11:47] allow to open the ormus [00:11:50] this linage and only after that return [00:11:54] back. the peaceful negotiations that will include [00:11:58] the question the sanctions, the Iran nuclear program and [00:12:02] actually all other question that led to the start of this [00:12:06] conflict in the February of this year, no [00:12:09] matter, no matter how long this process will [00:12:12] take, if we see current [00:12:16] practical attempt for making a further [00:12:20] steps to the peace settlements, it can be already [00:12:24] like... and and [00:12:27] appreciated as a positive as a positive [00:12:31] tendency, we have to look at the details of this positive tendency and [00:12:35] we have to look at how how fast and how [00:12:38] like [00:12:39] in in which details it will be realized, we'll [00:12:42] see right, Mr. Shaffer, how [00:12:46] do you look at the current negotiation between Iran and Oman when it comes [00:12:50] to new state being opened in the straight of Homers [00:12:52] as we know [00:12:53] it is the main flash point. this entire conflict, would it [00:12:57] really come to a substantial conclusion? we hope [00:13:00] so, for now we have the following situation, Iran and Oman, [00:13:04] they have negotiated, negotiated and they [00:13:08] have settled down, they have finalized the [00:13:11] approximate roots the [00:13:15] transportation through the almost linage, [00:13:18] but as as we said before, there there is no final [00:13:22] agreement on that matter, the main disagreement [00:13:26] on this question between the follow these sites like Iran, Oman and [00:13:29] United States of America, are the control the trade [00:13:33] vessels, the control the checkpoints on these trade [00:13:37] vessels, the and and one one the most important [00:13:41] control the moving the straight vessels in and out [00:13:44] of or moves, that's one the most difficult questions that [00:13:48] Iran has to finalize with Oman as Oman as a negotiator [00:13:52] because Iran wants to and Iran declares that it wants to [00:13:56] control both sides the movement the ships. uh, the [00:14:00] following construction, the suggested construction will allow of course Iran [00:14:04] to control actually all the trade vessels that are going in and [00:14:08] out through the persian gulf um, but [00:14:11] this this moment, this question is [00:14:15] the most hard and the most difficult to settle down. uh, the [00:14:18] final settlement of this question probably will happen in [00:14:22] in the following hours, I would say, not the day. Right, [00:14:26] Mr. Shaffer, also previous agreements between US and Iran, we have [00:14:30] seen them collapse because of different things and different factors, so how would we [00:14:34] make sure that there are certain mechanisms in place in order to [00:14:38] for us to realize that these future agreements, whatever happens between both these [00:14:42] countries remain in place? there [00:14:45] are certain, there are certain factors and there are certain [00:14:48] evidences that the the the [00:14:52] basis the, I would say the basis the UA. United [00:14:55] States negotiation process and actually their basis was their [00:14:59] military um the military part [00:15:03] there the aggression military part is not in the [00:15:07] condition as it was in the beginning the conflict, [00:15:10] we have we have various [00:15:13] sources of information that are telling that President [00:15:17] Trump is very unsatisfied with the current status the [00:15:20] American not only [00:15:22] like at potential, I would [00:15:26] say, but the potential that will that can help the United [00:15:29] States to dictate its [00:15:32] own, let's say, it's [00:15:36] own view. and its own needs during the current [00:15:40] negotiations process, so Iran now if if we if we have [00:15:44] an example of like a chess party if it's possible, Iran [00:15:48] now in the position where it can maybe [00:15:52] not on 100%, but it would it can [00:15:55] dictate its rules especially using the [00:15:58] negotiators, negotiation parties like Oman or any [00:16:02] other parties that can join the process, Iran now is in the [00:16:06] situation where... can it can state its own needs [00:16:09] and uh every actually every need that Iran will stay these [00:16:13] days will be much better than the position it had beforehand like it would [00:16:17] say a month a month ago or a month and a half ago [00:16:21] right. Mr. Shofer, latest diplomatic momentum [00:16:25] comes after lot of military confrontation. Do you think strategically [00:16:28] speaking the military confrontation can really complicate [00:16:32] these kind of matters? I mean, how do you see diplomacy after [00:16:35] deterence? It will, the military, the military part will, [00:16:39] of course, it will continue to happen, unfortunately, we've seen a lot of [00:16:43] examples on that happening last few months, but [00:16:47] we see that the level of this military confrontation between [00:16:51] Iran, between the United States and between the United States satellites [00:16:55] in the Gulf region is declining, is declining very much, not [00:16:58] only because the decline on the military potential the both [00:17:02] sides, but at the same time because the decline in the [00:17:06] need the... the military usage, we've seen [00:17:10] a very hard stage the military [00:17:14] conflict, the open fire on the attacks on Iran territory [00:17:17] or united states satellites territory, the gulf states, and [00:17:21] now this politic have shown, it's actually it's [00:17:25] useless, it's it's it's useless in the current situation, it's [00:17:29] again if if we go back to the chess terminology, [00:17:33] it's the situation when none the parties can win moving its [00:17:37] own like rockets at the same time, so [00:17:40] now actually now we see that the potential for the [00:17:44] peaceful negotiations for the diplomacy is much higher than it was a month [00:17:48] or two, especially two month before, now we are waiting for [00:17:52] the move from the Iranian side and we [00:17:55] have to wait how this move will be taken and what the reaction will be on the [00:17:59] United States side. Mr. Shaffir, how [00:18:03] long do you think this conflict is going to go? At one hand we see economy [00:18:07] of Iran. really going downwards at the other hand, there are reports [00:18:10] that stock pied ammunitions are really [00:18:14] reducing to a dangerous level, so how long do you think this [00:18:18] conflict is going to go? of course it's a critical reduction, [00:18:22] of course it's a critical reduction in the net trading in [00:18:26] the not only in the gal but in the net trading the [00:18:28] oil production in the whole [00:18:32] world, it's actually 40% lower than it was before [00:18:36] the start the con. and [00:18:39] the the one the most important things that that can pressure or I would say [00:18:43] that can influence the peaceful negotiations is that the [00:18:47] whole world, actually the whole world is interested in the final [00:18:51] settlement of this conflict and interested in final settlement the [00:18:54] ormus question [00:18:55] especially [00:18:59] um some might say that hopefully in in the next [00:19:03] few weeks we will see something like pe [00:19:08] peaceful um settlement the conflict, I would not be such optimistic [00:19:12] in this situation, unfortunately we see that no [00:19:16] matter how how how high high this decline the [00:19:19] military potential the both sides, but still they can continue the [00:19:23] military confrontation situation. um, [00:19:27] modern conflicts are lasting longer than a conflicts, [00:19:31] unfortunately then a conflicts that used to happen [00:19:34] like 20, 30, 40 years ago, they are not uh... they they may be [00:19:38] on not on the very high level the confrontation, but [00:19:42] they are a very long level of confrontation, [00:19:45] but let's put it this way, let's let's [00:19:48] hope that a half of year we will see the [00:19:52] actually the draft the [00:19:53] peaceful [00:19:56] um agreement between the between the both [00:19:58] sides, right? mr shafir, saudi [00:20:02] arabia announced the naval [00:20:05] airlines, the security airlines. and it has also announced the commander [00:20:09] lately, so would we look at the free navigation when it comes to [00:20:13] world trade finally without any conflict? do you think so it's going to [00:20:15] happen? yes, hope it's going to happen, and actually [00:20:19] the eyes the whole world, as we said before, [00:20:22] is [00:20:26] is big business, and we're ending that business, please, what makes, what makes [00:20:30] you confident, mr. president, that this will pass constitutional month, i think it will, think in [00:20:34] fact, i asked very talented person and will [00:20:38] sharp who's standing right behind me, and do you want to discuss that? [00:20:42] well, you felt pretty surely strongly about it, the law is [00:20:45] absolutely clear, what we're talking about is Stephen said with respect to birth tourism, [00:20:49] something... that used to happen incidentally, where somebody who happened to be on vacation here, [00:20:53] went into labor early and had baby, this was sort of a you [00:20:57] know a relatively small problem, what we've seen in recent years [00:21:01] though is uh organized rings, at times criminal [00:21:04] rings, setting up a system whereby tens, [00:21:08] hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands of people can come to this country [00:21:11] an organized fashion and and give birth here purely for the the [00:21:15] sake of obtaining birth right citizenship, this order takes a number of different [00:21:19] action. is intended to combat those sorts of organized [00:21:22] practices, uh, we look very heavily at denying visas [00:21:26] uh to people that we have reason to believe are coming here for that [00:21:29] purpose, visas both for uh putitive parents, but [00:21:33] also for the people organizing these rings, uh, there's also obviously a law [00:21:37] enforcement component, we'll have a full fac sheet released on this soon, but what [00:21:41] we're doing is taking uh legally validated [00:21:45] means that are clearly within our disposal and targeting them [00:21:48] square on - to this birth tourism industry, there's [00:21:52] absolutely nothing in here that runs a foul of any the Supreme Court's opinions on [00:21:56] the subject, this is frankly it's action that's overdue, and I'm thankful that [00:22:00] President Trump is finally taking decisive action to combat this this [00:22:04] issue of birth tourarism now that it's been cued up in the way that it has [00:22:08] uh as result the Supreme Court's opinion. This should have been done a long [00:22:12] time ago, this should have happened years ago, but we're taking care of it [00:22:15] now, please. Thank you, can you help us understand how you distinguish between the... [00:22:20] tourist and a birth tourist? well, let you discuss it, please, [00:22:24] happy to. and so, by the way, that's an excellent presentation. thank [00:22:26] you Stephen, the for those, yes, for those [00:22:29] of you who want to do your uh, your research on this, section [00:22:32] 215a the immigration and nationality act gives the president [00:22:36] this authority, 215a the immigration and nationality act, [00:22:40] very rarely used, probably one the strongest laws in the entire federal code [00:22:44] gives him this power, that's not the only, but it's the main statutory authority that's being used [00:22:48] in this order, so birth tourism is by [00:22:51] definition a fraud on the American system, on the American [00:22:55] taxpayer, on the American visa. If you're coming here, and [00:22:59] again, your state of purpose is that you're a tourist, then by definition, [00:23:03] you are here to come for few weeks, look at what we have, engage in [00:23:07] commerce and leave, so if you're telling cause officer you're here is [00:23:10] tourist, but your true purpose and intent is to [00:23:14] go to baby mill, give birth and try to mint an American citizen [00:23:18] while you're here, then you're committing a... fraud against the American government and [00:23:22] by definition that visa can and should and will be now denied. [00:23:26] Mr. President, there is report that you told donors that they need to get [00:23:30] JD van selected in 2028, is that your official [00:23:33] endorsement? no, it it's uh, I heard about it a little while [00:23:37] ago. I think he's great, but we're way too early even be [00:23:41] thinking about that. Okay, and Mr. [00:23:44] President, Republicans are arguing a lot right now about [00:23:47] affordability, what is your message? on affordability going [00:23:51] into the mid, well that's a good question, but it's sort of simple to [00:23:54] answer: I inherited the highest prices ever, [00:23:58] I inherited the worst inflation in the history of our country, [00:24:02] and we have done an amazing job, and oil [00:24:06] prices now are coming down very rapidly, if you look at what's going on, it's down to [00:24:10] 75, when I [00:24:13] started the very important excursion into the [00:24:16] Islamic Republic of Iran, it was very important [00:24:20] because they can't have nuclear weapon, otherwise the whole world would [00:24:24] get blown up, we're not going to let that happen, not only us, not only the [00:24:28] middle east, the whole world would have been, it would have been catastrophic, we had no [00:24:32] choice, we had oil down to less than to in many places like [00:24:35] Iowa, oil was down to gasoline was down at [00:24:39] numbers that people hadn't seen in years, $1.85, [00:24:43] $1.95 cents, so it passed tuesday, I was in Iowa [00:24:47] uh a stop, and we had [00:24:50] 195, another one 185 a [00:24:53] gallon [00:24:54] and we'll see those days pretty soon again based on everything I see as [00:24:58] soon as the war ends and uh I think it's going to end pretty [00:25:02] soon [00:25:03] I don't think they can go much longer yeah please has [00:25:06] it been reached to reopen the straight of hormes well I don't want to say it [00:25:10] has been it's sort of open right now we have a thing [00:25:14] called the blockade headed up by the US Navy and we control [00:25:18] it and uh now "we control it, but they can always shoot [00:25:21] something, they always have something or drop a mind, and if you have one mind [00:25:25] sitting out there, you sort of mess things up, because people don't want to take [00:25:29] their billion dollar boats and accidentally get hit by [00:25:32] mind, but uh, I think we're doing very well, I just, [00:25:36] you know, I'm involved in the negotiation, I think we're doing [00:25:39] fine, could be, it could be soon, yeah, Mr. President, have you lobbied any [00:25:43] the undecided Republicans who will vote tomorrow on Todd Blanche's [00:25:47] nomination? uh, I will lobby..." "if I need to, I [00:25:51] will lobby very, very diligently cuz he's outstanding, [00:25:55] he should be good, I mean, I can't imagine he's as good as there is in the [00:25:59] country, people have such unbelievable. respect [00:26:02] for Todd Bland, so hopefully that won't be necessary, I would, I spoke to some [00:26:06] people, I did uh, but uh, hopefully [00:26:10] it'll all work out very well for the country, because you're not going to find better than [00:26:14] Todd Blanch, will you reach out to Senator Makowski, Senator Cassity for instance, [00:26:18] let's see if we need anybody, I'll reach out to whoever I have to, [00:26:21] but uh, anybody voting against him would be doing [00:26:25] a great to service to the country, please, Mr. President, the deadline for [00:26:29] representative Max Miller to um withdraw. from his [00:26:33] race is coming up next week, do you believe you should [00:26:36] withdraw? well, I'm not going to get involved and that's a very sad [00:26:39] situation, and uh, I know [00:26:43] Max very well, but it's very, very [00:26:46] sad that a situation like that takes place. Yeah, do you think the [00:26:50] DOJ should prosecute Dr. Fauti? Well, [00:26:54] you know, they prosecuted Peter Navaro, and they prosecuted [00:26:58] Steve Bannon, to very decent people, over some... [00:27:02] that essentially was never prosecuted before, and [00:27:06] there are sort of telltale signs of [00:27:09] similarity, and they went to [00:27:11] jail for number of months over [00:27:15] something that they, I saw one the analys said they used to laugh it in the justice [00:27:19] department when something like that was [00:27:22] referred, but Merit Garlin prosecuted [00:27:26] to very decent people, and sent them to jail, [00:27:30] I wasn't president, I would have given [00:27:32] them a... [00:27:32] fart in two seconds, but I wasn't, [00:27:35] it was after I left, they waited till after I left, and then they prosecuted these two [00:27:38] people, and they would to be ashamed themselves, so when you see that [00:27:42] happen, you sort of say, maybe he should, what he did is far more serious [00:27:46] than lot of crimes frankly, but they [00:27:50] prosecuted two people with nothing like that has ever taken place [00:27:53] before, president, president, ammunitions, [00:27:57] you posted overnight that the US has a massive amount, and you [00:28:01] deny [00:28:01] that there are any. shortages, there is a supplemental request for [00:28:05] $21 billion dollars to to restock, [00:28:09] so um, why is that request still there if there? well, because we [00:28:12] need more all the time, and we need more. look, we gave [00:28:15] tremendous amount to Ukraine, the Biden [00:28:19] people did, and they were given free of charge, no, no [00:28:23] charge, no charge, billions, hundreds of billions of dollars [00:28:27] and fortunately I built up so [00:28:31] much during my term, "I rebuilt the military and also loaded it [00:28:34] up with lot of stuff. We have certain types of munitions [00:28:38] that are very powerful, that we have unlimited, virtual [00:28:42] unlimited supply, we have others where it's a little bit tighter and [00:28:46] we're getting them in a daily basis. As you know, [00:28:50] our defense companies are building more plants right now than any point in history, they're [00:28:54] building plants for the patriots, for the tomahawks for everything, but we [00:28:58] have uh certain types of munitions which are very [00:29:02] uh..." They may not be as accurate, they may not be, they're not as [00:29:05] elite, we have elite too, but we're we're [00:29:09] watching that very closely, but we have certain types which [00:29:13] are very powerful and very good, and [00:29:16] we have an unlimited supply, and so [00:29:20] we're in great shape, but with that being said, we [00:29:24] always want more, we have to have more, we have other things maybe come up, you [00:29:28] maybe come up and maybe don't come up, hopefully nothing else does come up, but [00:29:32] in very good shape, we have literally massive amounts of ammunition. [00:29:36] yeah, president, [00:29:38] on Ukraine, president Zelensky says his country desperately needs [00:29:41] long-range missiles or those patriot missile batteries. [00:29:45] is that something that? well, I mean, we want missiles too. we [00:29:49] when Biden gave him so much, Biden gave [00:29:53] $300 billion dollars worth of ammunition. you know, when I [00:29:56] left, this, it was full, and he gave lot of it away, now we're [00:30:00] rebuilding it, and we're using. [00:30:04] that are very powerful, very good, but we wouldn't have been using [00:30:08] them, we could have used something else, but these are [00:30:12] a little bit older type, equally as [00:30:14] effective, and we it's things that [00:30:18] we have so much, plus we have supplies of munitions [00:30:22] all over the world that if we ever needed them, we take that, we [00:30:26] supplied all over the world, but we have, we're in very, [00:30:30] very good shape, russia seems to have increased. [00:30:32] their attacks on, that must be a [00:30:36] concern, well it's look, we're not involved from the [00:30:39] standpoint, it's uh was separated by an ocean, but [00:30:43] hate to see 25,000 young people a month get killed, and [00:30:47] that's what's happening, between Russia and Ukraine, they're losing average [00:30:51] 25,000 mostly soldiers a [00:30:54] month, and you're working on it and I [00:30:58] think we're making progress, but
