[00:00:00] the the terror the terror basis [00:00:02] of the high douts on the Afghan side. Pakistan has also reserted to kyotic [00:00:06] operations like air strikes, on the terror hide outs in the [00:00:09] terror support infrastructure on the Afghan side. I think at the moment there is [00:00:13] lot of sensitization [00:00:14] of the international community. Almost every country have this [00:00:18] understanding and this feeling that Afghan is a threat for the [00:00:22] regional peace, not only for Pakistan, for the regional peace and [00:00:25] of stability and then for the international peace and stability. It is the headquarter [00:00:29] of. [00:00:30] It is the headquarter of Alqa Indian subcontinent, [00:00:33] it is the headquarter of ISKP, the [00:00:35] local affiliate of [00:00:38] ISIS, it's [00:00:39] of the headquarter of TTP, it's the headquarter of IMU, it is the headquarter of [00:00:43] ETIM, so almost all the international, what you call [00:00:47] it, these these terror networks, [00:00:50] a they are concentrating and have established the basis inside [00:00:54] Afghanistan, now I think Pakistan need to continue further [00:00:57] sensitizing the international community at least. to agree [00:01:01] on one, if they are not, i think taking [00:01:05] kyotic actions as Pakistan has taken, at least suspend their [00:01:09] relation, at least reduce their level of relation with them, [00:01:13] don't encourage, i think those those what you call [00:01:17] it, those actions which are benefiting the regime [00:01:21] in in inside Afghanistan, so i think and you very [00:01:25] me comprehensively explained it to our audiences as well, and while we are having this conversation, i'm [00:01:29] just going to [00:01:30] kind of move towards our other neighbor as well, since Mark we have seen, we have [00:01:34] spoken about fit as well and how they are assisting probably [00:01:38] afghanistan in or you know for all [00:01:41] of of these terrorist organizations to disrupt [00:01:43] you know what Pakistan alhamdulillah has successfully created, may be the diplomatic [00:01:47] assent that we see, may be our economy which is which we have seen [00:01:50] booming, and Pakistan to be recognized as a global [00:01:54] power to bring peace, to prioritize peace, to bring warring parties to the [00:01:57] table, how do you think that neighbor? "unfortunately is [00:02:01] trying to disrupt the peace and the international [00:02:05] recognition that the political leadership and the [00:02:07] of military leadership has got for Pakistan. [00:02:11] look, I think without any fear of exaggeration, I can [00:02:15] say that as you [00:02:17] of mentioned the marike huck, the May 2025 [00:02:21] clashes with India, you know that has been again I will use the world [00:02:25] universally acknowledge that Pakistan have given [00:02:28] a crushing defeat to..." the to to to the forces and [00:02:32] to the air force 10 time larger than the Pakistani forces [00:02:36] and everybody is recognizing except India [00:02:40] and just like the Taliban Taliban [00:02:42] in a state of denial India is also denying the same however [00:02:46] instead of now fronting [00:02:50] in in confronting Pakistan on the [00:02:51] in battleground or on the air or in the water they have resulted to the [00:02:54] mistevious ways like as you might have heard Ajit dewal saying [00:02:58] that why we why we fight with Pakistan [00:03:01] of forces on frontally are either engage them in waters or [00:03:05] engage them in [00:03:06] of air or on the ground, why not use the Afghan Taliban, why [00:03:10] not [00:03:10] of the money which we are spending here, that money should be given to them less, [00:03:14] of much less and he even said that if somebody give them [00:03:18] of thous, you give them 1500, you gave them [00:03:20] of 200, so they will fight for them, and these are things are, I think now [00:03:24] establish [00:03:25] of that afghan that India, you know the how the Afghan [00:03:29] Taliban. "they were they were called terrorists by the [00:03:32] Indians by Indian government and [00:03:34] of India was opposed for 20 years when they were fighting against the [00:03:38] international forces are the former republic but the day [00:03:42] Taliban proved their animity with Pakistan the next day [00:03:46] they were taken by the by the Indian now [00:03:50] India [00:03:50] is financially supporting materially supporting and you know [00:03:54] statements like we have a share [00:03:57] a DNA when an Afghan talib minister said" " that we have a share DNA [00:04:01] with the Hindutwa like the Modi government and [00:04:04] the the Modi leadership, so I think this quite unfortunate, you know this [00:04:08] what happened in in Kandahar when Pakistan severely [00:04:12] beaten [00:04:15] a that this BLA and those who are fighting inside Balochistan, so who came to the rescue, it was the [00:04:18] Indian and it was the the the the the local Taliban [00:04:21] leadership who set all these terror networks together and ask them [00:04:25] to contribute something to the BLA in the shape of men in the shape of [00:04:29] material. and there were reports Pakistan intelligence confirm reports [00:04:33] that Hafiz Gul Bahadar was asked to provide certain [00:04:36] people fighters to the BLA because they were facing shortage [00:04:40] of people the the they don't have the what we call it [00:04:43] of now the recruitment process [00:04:45] of is quite difficult for them as like the same is for the TTP TTP is now [00:04:49] trying more recruits from the Afghans and you know 70% [00:04:52] of the attacks are now being conducted by the Afghans there are [00:04:56] 270 260 afghans. [00:05:00] confirmed uh were killed [00:05:03] in in in fight against the security people [00:05:07] so now there is this nexus you know this TTP [00:05:11] the BLA the... other they can't stand for a single [00:05:14] day if they were not having the support of two states like one is [00:05:18] the Afghan Taliban as I said earlier, not only providing [00:05:21] a permissive environment, logistic support, but they are also working as a [00:05:25] supervisor if they face any what you call it problems [00:05:29] in organizational problems or financial [00:05:32] problems or strategic strategy problem so the afghan [00:05:36] talibans enter and help them and also that in also the [00:05:40] al-qaeda and this is not me who is saying it "this is the UN [00:05:43] reports, especially the report 38 which was [00:05:47] released on August 10, this is listed in that report, so I think [00:05:51] India and for how long they will do it, because I know [00:05:55] now I think Pakistan's fight against this, the new efforts [00:05:59] which Pakistan is launching now, I think they will be eliminated, they [00:06:03] will be eliminated on the Afghan side and they will be eliminated on the Pakistani [00:06:07] side, so this is exactly, [00:06:10] and Mr. Hasan, which is why I think..." "now okay, I think [00:06:14] let's envision is this way as well, because as of now Pakistan [00:06:17] enjoys very dominating diplomatic assent, the [00:06:21] world has seen it, the world recognizes that Pakistan always [00:06:25] played role of bringing peace to the region, [00:06:27] that there is more prosperity, for bringing waring parties to the table, making sure that they [00:06:31] are sease fires, the kind of relationship that we enjoy with the people's [00:06:35] republic of China, may be United States of America, may be kingdom of Saudi [00:06:39] Arabia, the landlock reg countries right next. to Pakistan, [00:06:43] Tajakistan, Kazakistan, if you are to speak about all of this diplomatic [00:06:47] assent, how do you think Pakistan can now take advantage or probably leverage its [00:06:51] political ability and not just political ability but rather the [00:06:54] diplomatic leverage that they can get while knowing where the world [00:06:58] recognizes that we are hub of peace, that we want to prioritize [00:07:02] peace as well and we want to bring peace to the region, how do you think that we [00:07:06] really need to kind of work on on some diplomatic fronts to [00:07:10] make sure that if only the military relations cannot solve the solution [00:07:14] alone, probably you know such diplomatic conversations and [00:07:17] relations should actually help Pakistan. [00:07:21] Look, I think this is again, this is very important subject that yes, [00:07:25] Pakistan has got international recognition almost every [00:07:29] capital the world, because Pakistan saved the world from a third [00:07:33] world war, particularly [00:07:35] in in the when the west west Asia where the [00:07:39] entire middle east and gulf countries were under. the threat of war and you [00:07:43] know that affected each and every home, each and every [00:07:47] kitchen, the reason was the straight of homos in the straight of [00:07:51] mandab and this in this in this entire gulf countries, you [00:07:54] know, so I think Pakistan was Pakistan's role [00:07:58] has been recognized internationally in a faraway countries, a [00:08:02] faraway homes, a faraway I think villages also that it is Pakistan [00:08:06] which is playing role, God has given that opportunity to [00:08:10] Pakistan and I think Pakistani leadership. whether it was the military [00:08:13] leadership, whether it was the political leadership, they have exploited that that [00:08:17] opportunity, proven their skills, proven their what you call [00:08:21] it intelligence that they are capable [00:08:25] to negotiate, [00:08:26] the are they are capable to mediate between the countries and the powers [00:08:30] much biggers, which which even organization like the un [00:08:33] avied to interven, i think the group of [00:08:37] countries like the nato european union away to interven, it was [00:08:40] Pakistan which single handedly has [00:08:43] tackle the that fight, no yes and then [00:08:46] you know then later on Pakistan engagement with the arab arab [00:08:50] friends in culminating at this [00:08:54] maka defense alliance, so I think now Pakistan is a [00:08:58] different pedestal as far the international diplomacy is concerned, as far the [00:09:02] international relation is concerned, but now this is what I am saying, [00:09:06] there is another challenge for the Pakistani leadership now to what you call [00:09:10] it to to exploit it. [00:09:13] in in favor of Pakistan economy in particularly [00:09:17] because in in in Pakistan's security [00:09:21] threats which is facing particularly from the Afghan side or from the [00:09:24] Indian side because India is using the Afghan [00:09:27] it is not the Taliban because the Talibans are pinless what they have to [00:09:31] give to these terror networks it is the it is India and now certain reports [00:09:35] are coming that Israel is also assisting them so I think it is here [00:09:39] Pakistan need to sensitize to carry along these international [00:09:43] friends are sympathizers and convinced them that look, [00:09:47] taliban Afghanistan is a threat, yes, but it's not only a threat to [00:09:50] Pakistan, because every country is saying that 20 to 20 for [00:09:54] being with us, thank you so much for voicing your opinion as to what really needs to [00:09:58] happen and the kind of condition that Pakistan is going through, thank you so much sir for your [00:10:02] time, thank you so much for being with us and thank you so much for speaking on [00:10:06] such a pressing issue now for all of my audiences who are out there now as to you [00:10:10] from where i started from where i am you know to take you further ahead, I [00:10:14] think this is exactly what each and every Pakistani is thinking as of now, because [00:10:18] today the challenge actually goes beyond Pakistan's borders, [00:10:22] our relations with Afghanistan have deteriorated. "the cross border [00:10:26] strikes have intensified and civilian casualties have raised serious [00:10:29] questions and humanitarian concerns as well, because it's [00:10:33] all human rights violations [00:10:34] on every front. meanwhile, Balochistan and Khabar Pakhton kwah continue to [00:10:38] face [00:10:39] you know such distinct but significant security challenges and we do know [00:10:43] for fact how in retrospect we really need to look at this [00:10:46] situation, we really need to look at how us as Pakistanies [00:10:50] really need to come together and make sure that we fight and that we fight in the [00:10:54] f'. of such tany which has been taking place as well, which is goes [00:10:58] against the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our nation. first of [00:11:02] all, i would want to give, i'm really proud of our armed [00:11:06] forces for fighting so valiantly, fighting with so [00:11:09] much bravery making sure to defend Pakistan's territorial [00:11:13] integrity at every front. now the question before us is not simply [00:11:17] whether Pakistan can strike militant target, it is whether the country [00:11:21] can build a sustainable strategy that protects its citizens. [00:11:25] dismentles militant networks, strengthens governance and prevents [00:11:28] another cycle of violence and making sure to to [00:11:32] avoid it near future and where does Pakistan grow [00:11:36] from go from here is the question and what will it take to [00:11:40] turn the years of sacrifice into lasting peace? we have seen how [00:11:43] Pakistan is always made sure to [00:11:46] you know give diplomacy a chance, we've always seen where how political leadership and [00:11:50] our military leadership have always [00:11:52] you know kept this very promis to themselves that there [00:11:56] will be no harm to the territorial integrity and sovereinity and keep on [00:12:00] saying or using the word territorial integrity and sovereinity because the kind of [00:12:04] situation that we were raised in imagine if i am going to start from where [00:12:08] in 2001 early al-qaeda and you all of that and when it [00:12:11] started to happen and unfold the kind of lies we had for [00:12:15] for any international audience is watching me right now imagine that if [00:12:19] we left for school early in the morning our parents would never know [00:12:23] if we are going to come back home or not and that was the cost of war on [00:12:27] terror which Pakistan actually took to itself [00:12:31] just unfortunately because the fact that they that we have had [00:12:34] neighboring countries who certainly do not want [00:12:38] Pakistan to be there and Pakistan alhamdulillah have always [00:12:41] made sure to [00:12:42] you to come back to emerge to to be more resilient to come [00:12:46] together and to have that very positivity [00:12:49] amongst the the nationals of Pakistan all Pakistanis that [00:12:53] no matter what. "we are going to stand together till the last drop of [00:12:57] our blood and make sure that we face you know the whatever [00:13:01] tyrany is going on or against Pakistan and that's exactly what we did, [00:13:05] imagine that from that situation from billions of dollars lost to war on [00:13:09] terror from millions of lives lost you know [00:13:12] for war and terror for our military to make sure that [00:13:15] you know that on every front that whatever you know we [00:13:19] were facing that they are going to go out there and fight against [00:13:22] it as well and make sure that Pakistan continues to grow." and then we saw [00:13:25] that, imagine that, fast forward to 2025, the kind of [00:13:29] diplomacy that Pakistan obtained, that Pakistan made sure [00:13:33] that Pakistan is going to go, speak right in front the world, may be [00:13:36] Markkah after which [00:13:38] that there was where the world recognized that how Pakistan has [00:13:42] actually made an effort and and while I speak about all these [00:13:46] efforts that Pakistanis have made, now is the time, imagine after two [00:13:49] decades where Pakistan now is actually recognized as the [00:13:53] as hub of peace. as hub of regional peace, giving [00:13:56] diplomacy a chance, giving dialogue a chance, bringing waring parties to the [00:14:00] table and avoiding another world war, which would have been [00:14:04] catastrophic, imagine to speak about you know where how Iran [00:14:08] and United States of America were brought onto one table, one table, then [00:14:12] first of all we saw sease fire because of Pakistan's mediation role, then [00:14:16] we saw an indefinite cease fire, then we saw the Lake Lusan summit [00:14:20] and how Pakistan alhamdulillah is now being recognized as a hub of [00:14:23] peace, to speak more about very lucky that we've been joined by a senior journalist [00:14:27] happy mr farfi. hello, mr. patafi, assalamualaikum, how are you doing [00:14:31] today? salam, thank you very muchah, thank [00:14:35] you so much mr. patafi for joining us, but mr. patafi, i've had quite a lot of [00:14:39] conversation with our guest where they have spoken about as to what the adverseries [00:14:43] are trying to do with Pakistan and Pakistan's peace, we have spoken [00:14:46] about tarike Taliban Pakistan, we have spoken of fitnah, [00:14:50] but if we if we are to look into retrospect, I would want to speak [00:14:54] about what the provincial governments should have [00:14:57] done in the face of terrorism? [00:15:00] please. thank you very much. shad. i think that [00:15:04] it is very important to remember that the provincial government is [00:15:08] also part the federation and one important aspect [00:15:11] is when there is a comprehensive [00:15:15] consensus based national election plan, they should [00:15:18] also stand with the center in fight against [00:15:22] terroritism. unfortunately we have seen in past 10 [00:15:25] years, that wasn't the case, remember the [00:15:28] earlier while you were talking about Pakistan's fight on [00:15:32] terror, I heard you were mentioning 20 [00:15:35] years, it has been... quarter of a century [00:15:39] since the 9/11 incident and since [00:15:42] then Pakistan has been part of this world right? so the [00:15:46] important thing to remember is that last time when [00:15:50] we checked there were around [00:15:53] 82000 casualties that we had actually sacrificed [00:15:57] to this war and that was the last time I think we [00:16:01] counted I don't think we are still counting but with [00:16:05] that kind of sacrifice that this country... has given not [00:16:08] only for Pakistan but also for the entire human [00:16:11] civilization. I think one all [00:16:15] of our you know hands must be on deck and [00:16:19] everybody must be singing from the same hind sheet. [00:16:23] Unfortunately what we have seen is that there was [00:16:25] a lot of you know [00:16:29] terror apology that was give offered [00:16:32] repeatedly by that province particularly [00:16:36] has. leadership and that is why [00:16:40] unfortunately we have seen demortalization especially in [00:16:43] police and other local [00:16:46] authorities and they have been actually subjected [00:16:50] exactly and these are all facts and thank you so much for sharing it with us [00:16:53] and our audiences as well and since you know the conversation is now moved into [00:16:57] a juncture way we are speaking about you how to [00:17:02] ask see things in retrospecti let you if you are to speak about you know the [00:17:06] progress that we have made so what measurable progress do you think we have made in the [00:17:10] quarter of a century on this war on terror? number one, what verificable [00:17:14] mechanisms [00:17:14] do you think have been adopted or probably needs to be adopted in order to make [00:17:18] sure that you that we [00:17:20] get get rid of this menas and then how do you think that we can move towards [00:17:23] a stronger civilian governance [00:17:26] system? right? and that is beautiful [00:17:30] question, thank you very much for asking that. there are two [00:17:32] dimensions to the situation, one is external, [00:17:36] of course the... country is fighting terrorism beyond its border [00:17:40] as well, but inside the border, the one thing that you have [00:17:44] to appreciate is that over past [00:17:47] decade we have seen that Pakistan [00:17:51] has actually removed any pockets of resistance [00:17:55] sort of terrorism, now whatever they are actually [00:17:58] deploying is godzilla tactics and [00:18:02] that continues unabated, but the country is fighting [00:18:05] back and earlier you spoke about ibuos, i [00:18:08] think that is covered, intelligence based operations [00:18:12] that actually go because the terror also now [00:18:16] hiding in regular [00:18:19] communities, that's why intelligence based operations are [00:18:23] very important where intelligence actually is gathered and [00:18:26] then you take out the that, so that is [00:18:30] continuing out also, one aspect that is very [00:18:34] important and you asked about that also improve. doing the [00:18:38] quality of governance, especially in the [00:18:41] merged parts the [00:18:44] provinces very important, why? because those are the [00:18:48] areas there you used to have semi tribal [00:18:52] system, actually travel system, and then now we are [00:18:56] trying to mainstream that, and while [00:19:00] about 15, 20 years ago, what we saw was that there was [00:19:03] influx of taliban terrorists. they [00:19:07] actually came and they you know [00:19:11] killed most the tribal elders, so there was, thank you, [00:19:15] thank you so much, thank you so much mr. patafi for sharing your opinions as [00:19:19] to how Pakistan really needs to progress ahead and making sure that you that [00:19:23] there's lesser concentration, but rather what we are able to achieve [00:19:27] is to make sure that the land is safe, that the [00:19:30] sovereinity, that the territorial integrity, ladies and gentlemen is [00:19:34] maintained and that to making sure that you that certainly do [00:19:38] not get into any other you know further more [00:19:41] you know such sort of kinetic exercises to make sure [00:19:45] that we you know protect our civilians may be the property of civilians [00:19:49] and certainly we have seen that in the past as well so the question stands how can [00:19:53] Pakistan actually achieve you know the border security without allowing the [00:19:57] conflict allowing the conflict to actually expand into [00:20:00] another permanent confrontation because Pakistan certainly does not want any [00:20:04] other sort of confrontation but if [00:20:06] it is to come down to our territorial integrity and sovereinity, each and every [00:20:10] Pakistani is actually going [00:20:12] to stand united, may be our political leadership, may be our military [00:20:15] leadership, we stand, honerable depty prime minister of Pakistan, [00:20:19] Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar Saheb, [00:20:23] honorable ambassador Khalid Mehmoud Saheb, chairman Board of Governors, [00:20:26] Institute of Strategic studies Islamabad, ambassador Minhaq [00:20:30] Sahib, director general Institute of Strategic studies [00:20:34] Islamabad, my Very [00:20:37] dear foreign guest speakers, Mr. James Watt, Mr. Georgio, Mr. [00:20:41] Joseph, honorable Nasim Zera Saiba, renowned [00:20:45] international relations expert and the professor. It is [00:20:48] my pleasure and honor to be [00:20:52] here at this all important international [00:20:55] conference on Pakistan's evolving [00:20:59] counter terrorism landscape and regional peace and [00:21:02] security. i think this conference couldn't have come [00:21:06] a better time and this is the most pertinent [00:21:10] issue that we are faced with. pakistan [00:21:14] for the past many decades has been fighting the good [00:21:18] fight with at the forefront of [00:21:22] this war against terrorism and [00:21:25] this status of being at the [00:21:28] forefront has come at an immense [00:21:31] cost. other nation in the [00:21:34] world can claim that they have lost [00:21:38] more than 90000 lives in the war against [00:21:41] terrorism. other nation in the world [00:21:45] can claim that they have suffered economic [00:21:49] losses. over hundre billion [00:21:51] dollars, when we represent [00:21:54] Pakistan at conferences, [00:21:58] like this one, we stand before you [00:22:02] as ambassadors of peace, as harbengers [00:22:06] of regional security, we [00:22:09] stand as a symbol [00:22:12] of defiance against violent extremism, we [00:22:16] stand as a symbol of resistance, against [00:22:20] terrorism and terrorists across the [00:22:23] globe. Ladies and gentlemen, [00:22:26] Pakistan has been a [00:22:29] shield between the terrorists and the rest the [00:22:31] world, when one Pakistani lays down [00:22:35] his or her life fighting against terrorism, [00:22:39] yes it's to make Pakistan safer [00:22:41] place, but it also [00:22:45] contributes to global peace [00:22:49] because "the world is safer place when we [00:22:53] fight this good fight. [00:22:56] pakistan's role recently in [00:23:00] the mediation process between the United States and Iran has once [00:23:04] again proven that we believe in peace and we [00:23:08] genuinely want to bring peace to the world. [00:23:11] immense efforts have been made under the able leadership of prime [00:23:15] minister shahbas sharif the way deputy prime minister. [00:23:44] bring peace to the entire region, it would [00:23:47] enhance our trade with central. Asia, it would [00:23:51] enhance our foreign investments, it would [00:23:55] lead to more cooperation and connectivity between nation states [00:23:59] of this region, and pakistan has [00:24:03] not only been part of [00:24:07] negotiations in different parts the world in which the deputy prime minister has been there, the [00:24:10] defense minister has been there, our national security advisor has been [00:24:14] part these plays and Pakistan has tried to [00:24:18] explain to the inter Afghan government [00:24:22] that we believe in peace and prosperity and we want to [00:24:25] bring peace to the people of this region and especially the people of [00:24:29] Afghanistan, but [00:24:32] unfortunately our advice has fallen on deaf [00:24:35] years. Pakistan has been a generous [00:24:39] host to over four million Afghan [00:24:42] refugees for over four [00:24:43] decades and we've paid a [00:24:47] very high cost. of being generous [00:24:51] hosts, but our hospitality and our [00:24:54] generosity, unfortunately has [00:24:58] been has never been repaid in [00:25:00] kindness, we've suffered because [00:25:04] there is regime in Afghanistan which only believes in [00:25:08] violence and only believes in extremism. if you look at the facts and [00:25:11] figures, there are safe havens across our [00:25:15] international border towards Afghanistan [00:25:19] and the United nations and independent [00:25:22] assessments have estimated that over [00:25:26] 6000 TTP terrorists are there in Afghanistan with the [00:25:30] total estimated terrorist presence of over [00:25:32] 2000 and since the return the Afghan [00:25:36] Taliban in 2021, the TTP [00:25:40] has continued to exploit Afghan territory for [00:25:43] recruitment, training, facilitation, planning and attacks [00:25:47] against Pakistan using using Afghan soil. [00:25:52] and in the recent [00:25:54] past we have responded to these [00:25:57] attacks, because one [00:26:01] cannot allow, terrorists to use safe havens within [00:26:05] Afghanistan to attack [00:26:07] Pakistan. Pakistan's [00:26:11] desire for peace must not be [00:26:14] construed for its [00:26:16] weakness. We believe in peaceful [00:26:20] coexistence. We want to peaceful [00:26:22] Afghanistan, but just look at [00:26:26] the plight the Afghan [00:26:28] people, in particular women in Afghanistan. [00:26:33] "they have been denied the right to education, [00:26:37] they have been denied the right economic empowment, and they are [00:26:41] not part the productive workforce, because the [00:26:44] regime believes in violent extremism and they have their own ideology and [00:26:48] own brand of Islam, which has nothing to do with Islam, [00:26:52] now regime which denies minorities and women, [00:26:56] their basic rights and promotes violent [00:26:59] extremism." " Pakistan has [00:27:03] tried it best to bring them to common [00:27:06] terms, but unfortunately in the recent past these [00:27:10] palies have not been successful within [00:27:13] Pakistan [00:27:16] we have been [00:27:18] successful in creating a narrative against these [00:27:22] terrorists and I was recently in Khaber Pakhtunkhah, I [00:27:25] visited Kohatt where terrorist [00:27:29] strikes had taken place and I had the honor [00:27:33] of interacting with the injured in the combined [00:27:37] military hospital in cohart, the people of heber [00:27:40] paxtunkhah are very very firm [00:27:44] and resolute for fighting this war [00:27:48] against terrorism, they want terrorism to be eradicated from that [00:27:52] province and i [00:27:54] think very welcome change yesterday has taken [00:27:58] place which will now enable the people [00:28:01] oftun and empower them to [00:28:05] fight against terrorism and eradicate terrorism for all times to [00:28:08] come. the 38th UN [00:28:12] monitoring report has recorded the [00:28:16] relocation of almost 2000 TTP terrorists and their families from [00:28:19] border areas to deep inside [00:28:22] Afghanistan. Ladies and [00:28:25] gentlemen, if Afghanistan continues to provide [00:28:29] safe Havens to these terrorists. [00:28:34] How can peace be achieved? [00:28:38] Pakistan government, the foreign office led by honorable [00:28:41] senator, the [00:28:43] military, there has been [00:28:47] complete unity of thought and action between all stakeholders within [00:28:51] Pakistan that come what [00:28:53] may we will achieve peace [00:28:56] inshallah and we will eradicate [00:28:59] terrorism not only from face of [00:29:02] Pakistan, [00:29:03] but the from the face the region. The people of this region deserve [00:29:07] better, the people of this region [00:29:10] deserve prosperity, welfare [00:29:14] and security. And on behalf the government of [00:29:17] Pakistan, I would like to express this [00:29:20] resolve that we are faced with the [00:29:23] condandrom, but together with will [00:29:26] power, with determination and with inner [00:29:30] strength, we will inshallah over. these challenges because we [00:29:33] understand them and [00:29:35] we have the capacity to overcome them. the world has seen during [00:29:39] Mark that when war is imposed upon [00:29:42] us, we know how to respond back and we [00:29:46] know how to win, alhamdulillah, and the world has seen that when it comes to [00:29:49] negotiating peace, we have the [00:29:51] capability of mediating peace, [00:29:55] so Pakistan stands for peace and Pakistan is desirous of [00:29:59] region which stands. for [00:30:02] prosperity and security. Thank you very much. Pakistan [00:30:06] Zindabad. [00:30:14] I now have the honor of inviting the chief guest honorable Senator [00:30:18] Mohammad Saqdar, deputy prime minister and foreign minister of [00:30:22] Pakistan, to address the [00:30:23] gathering.
