[00:00:00] Our people in East Jerusalem and the West and the hill thugs Bank and Gaza who are leading this systematic colonial plan to prevent access to prevent farmers from accessing their lands and attempting to empty the land of its inhabitants and benefit from the bounties of this country. Therefore, it is an attempt to empty the land and an attempt to control it. Of course, this is a clear Israeli political goal because it has been systematic over the years, but the pace has increased significantly in the previous season and this season, specifically if we talk about from 250 until this date, 120, approximately about 5,000 trees and 415, 5,415 trees have been uprooted, violated, cut, or broken, in addition to hundreds of dunams that we have not yet been able to accurately count due to the spread of settlers and the prevention of farmers from accessing their lands. However, those documented in the field are communicating with farmers and local councils to accurately identify the affected areas, but the hotspots or hot spots that farmers cannot access have been identified. Accordingly, the Ministry of Agriculture has prepared or launched the olive harvest campaign 2026. This campaign consists of all segments of Palestinian society, both governmental and non- governmental institutions, and there are also human rights organizations, international and non- international organizations, universities, and everyone who can provide voluntary assistance, as well as active national institutions working side by side in establishing operations rooms in every governorate of the country. This governorate will be headed by the governor and the Director General of the Directorate of Agriculture will supervise the implementation of this campaign and on the occasion of farmers registering to access their land collectively so that the settler cannot isolate the farmers when they access their lands. Yes, your estimates, Engineer Iman, regarding the quantities of olives being stolen or the value of the financial losses resulting from these attacks so far. I mean, when we talk about around 5,000 trees, approximately 3.5 million dollars that were recorded in the damage assessment system and were considered to be cut trees. But as for the completeness, there is the issue of fruit theft. Fruit theft is about approximately no less than approximately 14 tons, 4 tons, meaning 4 grams, meaning approximately 15,000 dollars as well from the value of the fruit theft, not to mention, of course, the assessment of the lands that we haven't reached yet, which is also يعني I mean, perhaps we expect there will be an assessment, according to the assessment of the fruits, that we will have 21 tons of oil this year, and 16 tons will be 16,000 tons will be for local consumption. However, due to colonialism, due to the settlers and their defeat, God willing, we will reach the quantity of oil that will cover local consumption. In the previous year, you saw that there was a large shortage of oil and farmers' inability to access their lands, despite the campaigns that were launched, but the olive harvest was very light last year, and it coincided with the settlers' campaign against the olive harvest. Therefore, it was a weak season and a devastating loss for the farmer. However, this season, we hope that despite what the Palestinian farmer is exposed to from cruelty and violence from the settlers, he is determined to pass this season and reach his land because he considers it and is rooted in it. It is Palestinian identity. The Palestinian farmer and the entire Palestinian family look forward to this season with patience in order to fulfill some of the responsibilities that fall on the families. Therefore, it is an integral part of their identity, their economy, and their daily life, and the settlers cannot be allowed to There is a strong will from the farmers to access their land and to complete this season successfully, God willing. God willing. The governorates and regions most affected by settler attacks and olive fruit theft. And yes, this week it was clear in the Bil'in area, which is one of the most affected areas, in addition to, of course, two isolated areas where trees were uprooted by the Israeli army, which uprooted these trees in order to prepare a suitable environment for the settlers to establish settlements in the Jenin areas, which were known to have a fixed settler presence, and now the lands have been completely emptied in order to spread settlers over large areas in order to control Palestinian land. Therefore, the last period was the target of extensive targeting, especially since it is an olive-growing area, and it was targeted extensively until the value of the olive trees and the quantity of olives exceeded 2,300 trees this week that were cut. And of course, olives are perennial, and we are talking about the economic impact that these perennial olive trees need tens of years to restart the production process, and they know that when they cut down a perennial olive tree, that means it needs Of course, it must be replanted in its place. It must be that we plant ten trees in its place. Thank you very much, agricultural engineer Iman Jarrar, Director General of Farmer Services in the Ministry of Agriculture. [00:03:31] Today, Prime Minister [00:03:33] near Ain Sakaka in Muhammad Mustafa opened the Central Wholesale Market for [00:03:37] Vegetables and Fruits in Tulkarm Governorate, as part [00:03:40] of a project to complete the reform [00:03:42] the continued detention of at and development of three in many villages and towns in [00:03:43] in the central markets in the West Bank, with the aim of organizing [00:03:47] the marketing of agricultural [00:03:49] products, improving [00:03:50] their access to markets, and enhancing economic [00:03:53] opportunities for farmers [00:03:58] vast areas of to shop in this and producers. In attendance were the Governor of Tulkarm, Abdullah Kamil, and a number of ministers, international partners, [00:04:01] and official and honorary figures. [00:04:05] The Prime [00:04:07] who are prevented from accessing Minister said during the inauguration that this project is important [00:04:11] and their freedom of movement, for farmers, traders, and residents, and contributes to [00:04:14] regulating the market and agricultural products, [00:04:17] improving their access to markets, and opening wider [00:04:21] economic opportunities for farmers and producers. He [00:04:25] added that the opening of the market comes at [00:04:28] a time when our people are facing [00:04:31] the terror of settlers sector specifically, and their continuous attacks on agricultural [00:04:35] lands and farmers and their livelihoods [00:04:38] in an attempt [00:04:40] of its investments in to impose a reality that forces citizens by force [00:04:43] to stay away from [00:04:45] their lands. [00:04:52] of its holdings in And with us from Tulkarm is our correspondent Ihab Al-Damiri. [00:04:55] Welcome to you, Ihab. So, the opening of this [00:04:59] market comes. [00:05:02] And the occupation soldiers, how do the citizens [00:05:06] of Tulkarm adapt to all these [00:05:08] events? [00:05:13] Yes, Areen, greetings to you and to the esteemed viewers. Indeed, Areen, [00:05:17] today Tulkarm witnessed two [00:05:20] important events, [00:05:22] which are related, firstly, to the wholesale market [00:05:26] for vegetables and fruits. This market was originally existing [00:05:30] before, but it was in need of a development [00:05:32] project, a project that would practically move [00:05:36] the commercial and economic activity and make [00:05:39] it a destination for farmers, traders, and all [00:05:42] our people. And this is what the international partner [00:05:46] bodies, specifically a number of European Union countries [00:05:49] through the FAO organization, did when they provided support to Tulkarm [00:05:53] Municipality to rehabilitate this market. This rehabilitation and [00:05:56] reclamation and practical development [00:05:59] included the market squares, which became wider [00:06:03] and more capable of [00:06:07] to huge refrigerators to contain all types [00:06:10] of fruits and vegetables. But the important thing today in this matter is that His [00:06:14] Excellency Prime Minister Muhammad [00:06:18] opened this market, he came with a clear message that the government, with all its [00:06:21] international partners and all sectors, is working to improve [00:06:24] the reality of our people and protect agriculture [00:06:27] and land through innovative projects, [00:06:31] more creative projects in order to practically [00:06:34] provide goods and vegetables and fruits, and also [00:06:38] to facilitate their access, transportation, and movement between [00:06:40] wholesale markets, retail markets, and even to [00:06:44] various stores. Therefore, today, His Excellency Prime Minister [00:06:47] Muhammad Mustafa was keen to emphasize that the government spared no effort [00:06:51] to support farmers in light of the terrorism practiced by [00:06:55] settlers and occupation soldiers against our people, especially during the olive [00:06:58] harvest season. Indeed, as you mentioned, Areen, Tulkarm is suffering [00:07:02] terribly as a result of the continuous aggression of the occupation, [00:07:05] the continuous forced displacement under the threat of arms from the Tulkarm [00:07:09] and Nur Shams camps and their surroundings, and the hardships it suffers [00:07:11] from the occupation's restrictions and the continuous movement of occupation [00:07:15] vehicles. Therefore, today, when we see that Prime Minister [00:07:18] Muhammad Mustafa himself came [00:07:22] market, and all the international partners and all the important [00:07:25] sectors, it is a clear message that Tulkarm, which is subjected [00:07:28] to aggression, receives attention and appreciation from [00:07:32] the government and all official bodies, and work [00:07:35] is underway to consolidate and strengthen the steadfastness of our people. Therefore, in [00:07:39] light of all these obstacles and in light of what our people are subjected to, a war from [00:07:43] the occupation that has not stopped since the beginning of [00:07:46] 2025 until this moment, the government [00:07:50] today confirms again and repeatedly that it is doing what [00:07:54] is necessary and everything that is needed to strengthen our people [00:07:57] and enhance their steadfastness, and also to strengthen the most important sector for Tulkarm as an agricultural [00:08:01] governorate, which is the agricultural sector. Not only that, [00:08:05] but Prime Minister Muhammad Mustafa's tour [00:08:08] continued towards the fourth Tulkarm [00:08:10] National Industries Exhibition. This exhibition [00:08:14] actually represents a commercial boost for our people here [00:08:18] and for national companies in general, whether from Tulkarm or even from [00:08:21] outside Tulkarm. It is held at Khadouri University, Palestine Technical [00:08:25] University. Today, His Excellency Prime Minister also opened this exhibition and emphasized [00:08:29] the importance of these exhibitions for Tulkarm and emphasized that Tulkarm, [00:08:33] despite the bleeding wound, is rebuilding and working [00:08:36] to restore life and inject commercial activity into [00:08:40] it, especially since Tulkarm, to be honest, has suffered [00:08:44] a huge economic and commercial decline over the past years. [00:08:47] And today, the importance of these exhibitions, like the fourth [00:08:50] Tulkarm National Industries Exhibition, lies in what [00:08:53] it will practically achieve in active commercial and economic [00:08:56] movement between traders, citizens, consumers, [00:09:00] and sellers, and between those coming from outside Tulkarm [00:09:03] Governorate, specifically from the governorates of the homeland, and from inside the Green Line, [00:09:08] exhibition, which truly represents great importance for the people. [00:09:20] This is to strengthen the steadfastness of our people in the face of continuous [00:09:24] aggression. Ihab Al-Damiri from Tulkarm, you [00:09:27] were with us and gave us the latest picture [00:09:30] you have about the attacks of settlers and occupation [00:09:34] soldiers. Thank you very much for all these clarifications. [00:09:37] The Norwegian sovereign [00:09:39] wealth fund has withdrawn its investments from [00:09:42] five Israeli banks, including Bank Hapoalim, [00:09:46] in a move it said comes as part of an [00:09:49] ethical review [00:09:53] the Israeli banking sector. The [00:09:56] fund announced its decision on October 12, [00:09:59] 2026, noting that the total value [00:10:04] the five banks reached approximately [00:10:07] $661 million by the end of [00:10:10] last June, [00:10:12] according to media reports. Bank Hapoalim [00:10:16] is among the institutions included in the decision, [00:10:20] despite recording strong financial results during [00:10:24] the second quarter of this year, with its net [00:10:27] income reaching 583 [00:10:30] million shekels, compared [00:10:33] to approximately 480 million shekels in [00:10:39] quarter. [00:10:39] This [00:10:45] morning, dozens of settlers stormed the blessed [00:10:49] Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the Israeli occupation [00:10:52] forces. Local sources reported that dozens of settlers [00:10:56] stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the side of [00:11:00] Bab al-Maghariba and performed Talmudic rituals [00:11:04] in front of the [00:11:05] Dome of the Rock. [00:11:10] This morning, Israeli occupation forces raided [00:11:13] a number of governorates and launched a campaign of arrests [00:11:17] and Israeli raids targeting [00:11:19] dozens of citizens, including released prisoners [00:11:22] and five members of one family, amid [00:11:26] raids on homes, the firing of gas bombs, [00:11:30] and clashes in a number of areas. [00:11:34] Our correspondents in Nablus reported that [00:11:38] occupation forces arrested a young man after raiding [00:11:41] the city and storming a number of homes. They also raided [00:11:44] the village of Al-Badhan, north of the city, [00:11:47] and stormed one of the homes, while they raided the [00:11:51] popular housing neighborhood east of Nablus. In [00:11:54] Jenin governorate, occupation forces [00:11:57] arrested five members of the Muhammad [00:12:00] Sawabneh family in the town of Fahma, southwest of the city, [00:12:03] who are two brothers and three sisters. [00:12:07] They also arrested two young men during a raid on the village of Zababdeh, [00:12:10] west of Jenin. As for the city [00:12:14] of Qalqilya, occupation forces arrested four released [00:12:17] prisoners during a raid on the city, while these [00:12:21] forces arrested citizens from the town of Qatanna and [00:12:25] another from the town of Al-Eizariya. In Hebron [00:12:28] governorate, occupation forces arrested a released [00:12:30] prisoner after stopping him at a military checkpoint at [00:12:34] the entrance to Al-Aroub refugee camp. They also arrested [00:12:38] a young man after raiding his home [00:12:41] in the town of Deir Samet, north [00:12:44] of the city. [00:12:51] A young man was injured and bruised after being attacked [00:12:54] by settlers while picking olives in the town [00:12:58] of Turmusayya, north of Ramallah. He was transferred to [00:13:01] the hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, Israeli [00:13:04] occupation forces prevented farmers from entering [00:13:08] their lands in the town of Turmusayya, north of Ramallah, [00:13:11] this morning to pick olives, [00:13:14] and forced them to [00:13:15] leave. [00:13:21] Settlers attacked farmers in the town of [00:13:25] Yasuf, east of Salfit, and expelled them from their land and stole [00:13:29] olive harvests and harvesting equipment. The [00:13:32] head of the village council in Yasuf, Jum’a Abdel Fattah, said [00:13:36] farmers while they were on their land [00:13:40] in the Al-Khalla area and forced [00:13:43] them to leave and stole the olive [00:13:46] harvests and harvesting equipment belonging to farmer Ma’moun [00:13:50] Ma’rouf Issa, which caused him material [00:13:53] losses. Settlers also set up a tent [00:13:58] the western area located between the villages of Sakaka [00:14:02] and Marda, northeast of [00:14:04] Salfit. [00:14:11] The attacks by settlers and occupation forces on [00:14:14] olive pickers in Nablus Governorate [00:14:18] have increased, preventing them from accessing [00:14:23] agricultural land. [00:14:26] From Awarta to Huwara, south of Nablus, the location differs, [00:14:29] but the suffering of farmers [00:14:32] agricultural lands to harvest olives does not. And if [00:14:36] they manage to reach them, they are beaten and shot at by occupation [00:14:40] soldiers and settlers, so much so that the season of plenty has become filled [00:14:43] with blood and terror, and the accusation has become reaching [00:14:46] the olive trees of ancestors. [00:14:50] Nobody will tell me that I produce 90 tins [00:14:53] of olive oil, but this year I haven't even produced ten because it's forbidden, it's forbidden. [00:14:57] I mean, we have tons of olive oil because Huwara [00:15:00] is the food basket of Huwara in terms of olive oil, [00:15:04] because all of it is planted. The entire area, almost 2,000 dunams, extends [00:15:07] from the junction of Burin to almost [00:15:11] Ein Abous. All of it has always been planted with olive trees. But [00:15:15] today, if you look up at the areas below the settlement, you'll find that [00:15:18] it's been cut. burned. [00:15:21] One martyr and dozens of injuries since the beginning of the olive harvest season in [00:15:25] Nablus Governorate, where reaching agricultural lands has become [00:15:28] a dangerous journey in which farmers may [00:15:31] return carried on shoulders rather than laden [00:15:34] with the bounty of their olive trees. He comes [00:15:38] at me from the mountain, chasing the young men picking olives, I mean the extremists. [00:15:41] He comes all the way to my house here. I have been living here for seven years. [00:15:45] I am the most frequent one here. He starts banging on my door as if I am in the olive groves [00:15:48] there. He tells me to get down from here. I tell him why should I get down? I am in Area B. [00:15:52] I am here under Area B, and Area B is my property line. He threatened [00:15:56] me two days ago, he raised his weapon at me, put it to my chest and told me to leave [00:16:00] or he would shoot me. I am not allowed to pick a single [00:16:02] olive. Settler terrorism is escalating significantly [00:16:06] against olive pickers, in addition to large areas where [00:16:10] farmers are prevented from accessing them, while the olives [00:16:13] and their bounty are stolen by extremists who [00:16:17] and never-ending threat. Muhammad Al-Khatib, [00:16:21] Palestine TV, Nablus. We remain in Nablus, where [00:16:25] Israeli occupation bulldozers uprooted today more than [00:16:28] 200 ancient olive trees in the village of Al-Lubban [00:16:32] Al-Sharqiya, south of the city. Our correspondents reported [00:16:36] that occupation bulldozers stormed the Al-Sour [00:16:39] area, east of the village, and arrested more than [00:16:42] 200, or uprooted more than 200 [00:16:45] fruitful olive trees before their [00:16:48] owners could harvest their fruits, [00:16:52] depriving them of their harvest season. He added that occupation [00:16:56] forces closed the main entrance to the village, which prompted [00:16:59] citizens to take alternative routes [00:17:02] to reach [00:17:04] it. [00:17:09] Settlers today cut off electricity to the Al-Masoudiya [00:17:12] area, which belongs to the lands of Burqa, northwest of Nablus. [00:17:16] The official responsible for defending the lands [00:17:19] of Al-Masoudiya, Diab Haji, reported that [00:17:22] settlers cut off electricity to the area [00:17:25] for the fifth time in more than two months [00:17:31] citizens. He stated that [00:17:33] the area is systematically subjected to attacks by settlers, which [00:17:37] escalated after the establishment of a settlement outpost [00:17:42] area. [00:17:48] In Hebron, armed settlers today, [00:17:51] for the sixth consecutive time, cut [00:17:54] the electricity lines supplying a number of citizens' [00:17:58] homes in Wadi Al-Awar, east of [00:18:00] the city. The head of the Birin village council, [00:18:04] Farid Burqan, said that a group of settlers from [00:18:07] the Adorim settlement outpost, which was recently [00:18:11] established on citizens' lands in that [00:18:13] area, cut the electricity [00:18:16] approximately 20 homes in [00:18:19] the Wadi Al-Awar area, which belongs [00:18:22] to Birin, east of Hebron. The [00:18:26] residents of that area are continuously subjected [00:18:29] to attacks by settlers and occupation [00:18:33] forces, including demolition operations [00:18:36] of homes and the bulldozing of their [00:18:39] lands, besieging them and imposing [00:18:42] strict restrictions on their movement [00:18:45] to pressure them [00:18:48] leave that [00:18:50] area. [00:18:56] In addition, settlers today erected shelters [00:18:59] and raised occupation flags in the Tubas Plain. [00:19:03] Local sources reported that settlers, under the protection [00:19:07] of the occupation army, erected shelters [00:19:09] and raised occupation flags in the Ainoun [00:19:13] area in the Tubas Plain, amid [00:19:15] fears that this may be the nucleus of a new [00:19:19] settlement outpost [00:19:21] area. [00:19:27] In Lebanon, Israeli aggression continues in the south [00:19:30] with ongoing raids and shelling and casualties [00:19:34] from war remnants, amidst warnings of dangers [00:19:37] threatening the lives of citizens. The Israeli [00:19:41] escalation in southern Lebanon continues with recorded raids, artillery [00:19:45] shelling, and ongoing casualties from the explosion of suspicious [00:19:48] objects from war remnants. In the latest developments, [00:19:52] an Israeli drone carried out a raid with a guided missile [00:19:55] on the town of Kafr Kila in the Nabatieh district, while artillery [00:19:58] shelling targeted the town of Mansoura and the vicinity of Yater and the [00:20:01] adjacent valleys of Beit Lief and Sarbin. It was also reported [00:20:04] that machine gun bursts were fired towards Kafr Kila and an interceptor [00:20:08] missile exploded over the town of Khiam. In the series of [00:20:11] aggression remnants, an officer of the Internal Security Forces [00:20:15] in Ain Ebel was martyred after the explosion of a suspicious object while [00:20:19] he was working in an agricultural field on the outskirts of the town. [00:20:22] This comes after the martyrdom of a retired Lebanese army soldier [00:20:26] in Yater after the occupation fired at him while he was inspecting [00:20:29] his land, while the explosion of a suspicious object in Frun led to [00:20:33] the martyrdom of one citizen and the injury of another. In this context, warnings were renewed [00:20:38] against entering olive groves in Frun before consulting the competent authorities, [00:20:42] for fear of cluster bombs and mines. The security situation, [00:20:46] especially in the south, was discussed by President Joseph Aoun with Army Commander [00:20:50] Rudolf Hikel, who briefed him on the results of his visit to Cyprus. As [00:20:53] for Brussels, the foreign ministers of the European [00:20:56] Union are holding a meeting today to approve the establishment of a European [00:21:00] security and military mission to Lebanon, whose mission is to provide [00:21:03] training and expertise to the Lebanese army and Lebanese security forces, [00:21:07] without replacing UNIFIL forces, amidst European [00:21:10] affirmation of support for extending the mandate of the United Nations Interim [00:21:13] Force in southern Lebanon as its mission approaches [00:21:16] its end at the end of this year, amid escalating [00:21:20] tensions with Israel. The fate of the expected military negotiations [00:21:24] round in Florida on October 20th remains undecided, [00:21:28] given the absence of final confirmation regarding its holding, with [00:21:31] any progress before the Israeli elections on the 27th of [00:21:34] this month being ruled out. In a separate internal [00:21:38] security matter, attention is turning to the investigations into the [00:21:41] truck that was stopped in the Dahr al-Baydar area, heading [00:21:45] from the Bekaa to the greater Beirut area, carrying hundreds [00:21:48] of kilograms of explosives. Prime Minister Nawaf Salam praised [00:21:52] the security forces that stopped the truck, seized its cargo, [00:21:55] and referred its drivers to the competent authorities for investigation. [00:21:59] While Salam noted that C4 was used in a number of infamous [00:22:02] political assassinations in modern Lebanese history, [00:22:06] he confirmed that the government would not be lenient in following [00:22:09] up the investigation and expanding [00:22:13] all those involved in this criminal operation and those [00:22:15] behind them, and to uncover their plans [00:22:19] and objectives, and refer them all to [00:22:22] justice to receive the punishment they deserve, [00:22:25] stressing that his government would deal with the necessary [00:22:28] firmness with any weapon outside the framework [00:22:31] of legality, whether in possession, transfer, or use. [00:22:35] Thus, the challenge facing the Lebanese state remains twofold: confronting [00:22:38] the Israeli occupation's attacks and confronting [00:22:42] those who tamper with the country's security and stability, while [00:22:45] the country faces open risks to all [00:22:48] possibilities. For Palestine TV, Hala Salameh, [00:22:51] Beirut. [00:22:54] With the ongoing occupation attacks, international [00:22:57] calls are renewed to affirm Syria's sovereignty [00:23:01] and respect for the 1974 Separation of Forces [00:23:03] Agreement. [00:23:06] Amid warnings from the Human [00:23:09] Rights Commission of Israeli violations and the Security [00:23:12] Council's call to abide by the agreement, [00:23:14] international demands are renewed to stop incursions [00:23:18] and protect civilians. Meanwhile, Damascus welcomes [00:23:22] the UN stance. [00:23:29] in southern Syria, international movements are intensifying [00:23:32] calling for an end to Israeli violations amidst [00:23:35] UN warnings of their [00:23:38] civilians. In the latest field [00:23:41] developments, an occupation force consisting of two [00:23:45] tanks and six military vehicles infiltrated the village [00:23:48] of Al-Msheirfeh in the Quneitra countryside. It searched civilian [00:23:51] homes, and a force consisting of [00:23:55] three military vehicles infiltrated [00:23:58] the road of the town of Darayya in the Damascus [00:24:01] countryside, and conducted thorough [00:24:04] and passersby on the road. The United [00:24:07] Nations Human Rights Commission, which documented [00:24:11] 280 Israeli military incursions during [00:24:14] last September, the highest toll since the beginning [00:24:17] of the year, called through its representative [00:24:22] for an end to harassment and intimidation and for [00:24:25] an urgent and impartial investigation into the killing and injury of [00:24:29] civilians, noting [00:24:32] least 49 Syrians and reports of torture [00:24:36] and ill-treatment. This [00:24:38] comes at a time when the [00:24:40] UN Security Council renewed its call for the full [00:24:44] implementation of the 1974 Disengagement of Forces [00:24:48] Agreement, [00:24:51] stressing the need to ensure the safety of the United [00:24:54] Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) [00:24:58] and the security of its personnel [00:25:01] in parallel with emphasizing Syria's sovereignty [00:25:05] and territorial integrity. [00:25:08] For its part, Damascus welcomed the UN stance, [00:25:10] renewing its support for UNDOF's work [00:25:14] in monitoring field conditions and documenting [00:25:17] violations, stating in a statement [00:25:20] issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates [00:25:23] its adherence to its full rights [00:25:26] and its commitment to the principles of the United [00:25:30] Nations Charter and relevant international legitimacy resolutions, emphasizing [00:25:34] the need to respect its sovereignty in a way that enhances regional [00:25:37] and international peace and security. The Permanent [00:25:41] Representative of Syria to the United Nations, Ibrahim [00:25:45] Al-Alabi, considered that the Security Council's move [00:25:48] confirms the validity of the agreement and respect for the mandate [00:25:51] of the United Nations Force, pointing out that Syrian [00:25:54] diplomacy is working to mobilize the international community to pressure [00:25:58] Tel Aviv and stop its incursions in southern [00:26:01] Syria. Between humanitarian [00:26:04] and human rights warnings and political and diplomatic [00:26:08] positions, the biggest challenge in the Syrian [00:26:11] file remains translating international calls into [00:26:15] practical steps that ensure the protection of civilians [00:26:18] and stop Israeli [00:26:21] the region. For Palestine TV, [00:26:24] Wala Sharqawi, [00:26:34] bullets and shelling in several locations in the Gaza [00:26:38] Strip. [00:26:43] Occupation forces launch a widespread campaign [00:26:46] of arrests and incursions in various governorates [00:26:49] of the West Bank, and settlers [00:26:53] continue their crimes and attacks [00:26:56] citizens. [00:27:11] Norway withdraws $661 [00:27:14] million from five Israeli banks as part [00:27:18] of an ethical review [00:27:20] of its investments. [00:27:52] headlines. [00:27:56] Olive theft: losses hitting farmers [00:27:59] and exacerbating the economic crisis. [00:28:05] Income tax feeds the public treasury with about [00:28:08] 563 million shekels in seven [00:28:12] months. [00:28:15] International Monetary Fund and World Bank [00:28:18] meetings begin to discuss serious risks to global [00:28:21] economic [00:28:22] growth. [00:28:27] Income tax revenues in Palestine reached about [00:28:30] 563 million [00:28:32] shekels during the first seven months of the current year. [00:28:36] According to Ministry of Finance data, income [00:28:39] tax revenues constituted about 32% of [00:28:43] total local tax revenues of [00:28:47] 1 billion and 738 [00:28:50] million shekels during the same period, while [00:28:54] its share amounted to about [00:28:56] 7.6% of net taxes. [00:28:59] 7 billion and 4,000 and [00:29:02] 34 million shekels, and these [00:29:05] data highlight the importance of income tax in providing [00:29:09] local revenues to the public treasury, as [00:29:12] it represents nearly a third of local taxes, which [00:29:16] enhances its role in supporting the financial resources available [00:29:20] to the National Authority in light of the continued financial [00:29:23] crisis [00:29:24] of the government. [00:29:29] The olive harvest season in Palestine is [00:29:32] a season of joy for the harvest, but settler gangs [00:29:36] and the occupation army have turned joy [00:29:39] into a confrontation fraught with dangers [00:29:45] the West Bank. Among trees inherited by citizens from [00:29:48] their fathers and grandfathers, and lands [00:29:51] that are their source of livelihood and their connection to their roots, [00:29:54] attacks and threats are escalating, and farmers [00:29:58] are besieged in their fields in an attempt [00:30:01] to prevent them from reaching their lands and harvesting [00:30:05] their fruits. More in Ashraf Hussein's [00:30:08] report. [00:30:13] A scene whose brutality multiplies with every [00:30:16] olive harvest season. An army prevents farmers from reaching [00:30:19] their livelihoods and wages war on olive trees, and a settler [00:30:23] reaps what he did not sow, in an open theft [00:30:26] of the resources of an entire people who were waiting for this season [00:30:30] to reap their promised livelihood, [00:30:34] الارض وثمرها ولقمه العيش. [00:38:07] The losses do not stop at the uprooted trees or [00:38:11] the stolen fruits, but extend to a season that constitutes a major source of income [00:38:15] for thousands of Palestinian families and a driver [00:38:18] for an agricultural sector that is linked to the production [00:38:22] of olive oil, the food industry, and local [00:38:24] trade. With the escalation [00:38:28] imposed on access to land, the ability [00:38:32] of farmers to harvest their crops is declining. At a time when estimates [00:38:35] indicate that olive oil production losses may exceed [00:38:38] 25% during the current season [00:38:42] due to difficulty in accessing areas and [00:38:47] lands. Today we had a chance, God [00:38:50] willing, to pick olives. [00:38:53] The settlers, the owners of these criminal [00:38:58] hills, were harvesting our olives last [00:39:02] week, and we scheduled today to come at seven, as if [00:39:05] we were stealing our olives. They bulldozed this entire land. Here you have about [00:39:09] 36 to 40 dunams. [00:39:13] Our neighbors all did not [00:39:16] The loss does not only mean a decrease in the amount of oil, but [00:39:19] also affects family incomes and harms [00:39:24] owners, and leads to a contraction in sales [00:39:27] and trade in Palestinian markets. These repercussions [00:39:30] are exacerbated in light of a suffocating [00:39:33] economic crisis, as many families depend on [00:39:37] the season's revenues to secure their annual needs, while [00:39:40] the decline in production threatens to increase pressures [00:39:55] season's crop, but a part of his income [00:39:58] and economic security in attacks that target the land and its produce, turning [00:40:02] the olive season from a source of livelihood into a battle [00:40:06] for survival. Ashraf Hussein, Palestine [00:40:09] TV. We remain, viewers, in the same [00:40:13] context. We are joined by phone by agricultural engineer Iman [00:40:15] Jarrar, Director General of Farmers' Services in the Ministry [00:40:19] of Agriculture. Engineer Iman, welcome to the Economic [00:40:22] Scene. Welcome to you, and may God give you good health. [00:40:26] Welcome. Speaking of the repercussions of the current [00:40:29] situation, with settler attacks on farmers, to what [00:40:32] extent has the theft of olive fruits and the prevention [00:40:35] of farmers from accessing their lands turned from an attack [00:40:38] on an agricultural crop into an economic [00:40:41] loss affecting the income of thousands of families [00:40:44] and also job opportunities and Palestinian [00:40:48] markets? Yes, everyone knows [00:40:50] that for us, the olive [00:40:52] season, or the olive [00:40:55] constitutes 60% of the entire [00:40:59] agricultural sector. And the seven crimes that [00:41:03] the occupation and its collaborators [00:41:06] from settlers and colonists commit, this [00:41:09] means that it is a systematic plan to [00:41:13] break the elements of steadfastness [00:41:16] and to break the Palestinian [00:41:19] economy. Therefore, [00:41:32] the settlers. They spread throughout all governorates of the West [00:41:35] Bank, and also prevented [00:41:39] farmers from reaching their lands in order [00:41:42] to weaken the livelihoods of farmers. We [00:41:46] expected that in the previous season, approximately 130,000 [00:41:49] dunams could [00:41:52] Currently, we expect 220,000 [00:41:56] dunams due to the spread of settlers
