These are the official [00:00:11] Good evening, viewers. I welcome you to this new episode of the program "From [00:00:13] preventing the bus from the Capitals." Developments in manifestations of [00:00:19] any body from Palestine and the region are the topic [00:00:19] be. But this [00:00:20] these... Look at this we will discuss with our guest, the editor-in-chief of the Janoubia website, Mr. Ali El Amin. [00:00:24] Welcome, Mr. Ali, to the screen of Palestine TV. My greetings, thank you [00:00:28] for the invitation. You are most welcome, Mr. [00:00:32] The idea that was successful in, for example, Ali. Gaza, the Palestinian cause, [00:00:36] and on Hezbollah's behavior the region, and the world after three years since October [00:00:39] 7. There is no doubt that this [00:00:43] scene that we see daily, [00:00:46] and which is what we can describe [00:00:50] as the catastrophe that Gaza was subjected [00:00:53] on the available capabilities in [00:00:55] common to and is still subjected to by the continuous Israeli [00:00:58] aggression, with destruction, [00:01:03] that we are making with a certain arrangement? I don't want to go that far, but at killing, and seizure. All of this [00:01:05] corner, in addition to a large number of scene truly shows the extent [00:01:09] to which [00:01:12] shelling, they suffer from the Israelis are going, [00:01:14] of them. I mean, the [00:01:14] is with you, not that everyone which leads me to ask how the Israelis will live in the region. Can [00:01:19] we were able to alleviate this they continue and [00:01:21] psychological pain and these trying to delude us with this remain with this brutal force and uncontrolled force, [00:01:25] I mean, from unrestrained and undisciplined, [00:01:28] from [00:01:30] and the Lebanese state who are present, that goes beyond everything we [00:01:32] except this option. We didn't have to go to know about wars and what we have heard? How [00:01:37] entirety. We distribute the roles to will the Israelis live in this region? [00:01:39] In my estimation, after all that [00:01:41] We work on the Bus of Dreams in has happened, there is a real [00:01:42] acrobatic shows on [00:01:46] which we work with Hamas carried out, which are dilemma for the Israelis, and perhaps some Israelis speak about that. It is true that [00:01:49] Israel has a free hand in [00:01:53] therapy room meets a great need of carrying out many we can go around in [00:01:54] that justified all crimes and operations and destruction, and it has enormous [00:01:58] capabilities on the military level. But is this [00:02:02] enough to protect [00:02:05] Hospital, where we work with Israel's security and preserve Israel? [00:02:07] He wants to liberate Jerusalem, he should go to In my estimation, no. This for children so that they can alleviate indicates that this [00:02:11] entity does not want or finds it difficult [00:02:14] to continue and remain [00:02:17] because it is not reasonable [00:02:20] in logic, in life, [00:02:24] we continued our work with that happen daily, of Palestinians, whether from Gaza or from in history, for an entity with this level of mobilization, [00:02:31] needs of the for life, and all of this comes with this with this level of aggression, with this level of hostility, yes, towards [00:02:32] point. And all of this does its entire surroundings, to be able to continue. It may continue [00:02:35] for a year, two years, 10 years, 20 years, but it cannot [00:02:39] remain like this. This [00:02:42] The question is how do we deal with this also, in return, imposes challenges on us. There is no doubt that the Palestinian [00:02:45] cause is, of course, [00:02:49] we don't want to repeat slogans and words, it is a living cause, the cause of a people [00:02:52] they live in a clean place, they sleep on who are still [00:02:55] psychological counseling to alleviate striving and working to achieve the minimum [00:02:58] of their rights as a Palestinian people. [00:03:06] for us, how to confront this The challenge, and this is a path, means the possibility [00:03:07] This excessive force, this of its realization in light of all these tragedies we are [00:03:12] to coexist witnessing, [00:03:14] with the other, it is not meaning, this right [00:03:18] They are expanding and assaulting will certainly [00:03:19] work through this vehicle to alleviate be obtained [00:03:21] has affected by the Palestinian people. However, [00:03:25] receive this consciousness, more present in this also brings us back to another question related to it, because [00:03:29] also, if you permit me, in Hamas's statement, [00:03:31] there was talk of a glorious [00:03:35] in peace? I mean, this day. And it also reminded me of a speech, also in Lebanon, [00:03:39] by Hezbollah, which it has always used, which is the talk about the glorious [00:03:43] day whenever a major disaster [00:03:47] the challenges and tries occurred, and they used to cover up disasters and catastrophes and strategic [00:03:51] mistakes [00:03:53] dog on the with more slogans and comforting talk [00:03:58] hard to meet this and attempts, as they say in the Lebanese expression [00:04:01] and Israel is in the heart of this or the well-known proverb, to cover [00:04:01] for the Israeli elections, this the skies with sieves. [00:04:04] Meaning, a question must be asked [00:04:08] today after October 7, and this is from a rational [00:04:12] leaders unknown to any perspective, because what I am seeing in the discussion, I mean, for example, it really [00:04:17] hard to deal with bothers me, um, when I see within [00:04:20] Israel, within Israeli society, [00:04:24] within Israeli institutions, the discussion today [00:04:28] about the causes of [00:04:32] and demand, and also [00:04:36] This minister comes out, this research centers are looking into the future, into how to deal with [00:04:40] have time to think about future challenges. Did Israel, [00:04:43] with what it did on October 7, provide it [00:04:46] with strength, presence, [00:04:48] to the far north. This and effectiveness, or did Israel decline? Has the Palestinian [00:04:52] Sinai, so cause advanced after October 7 or [00:04:55] regressed? Did we make mistakes? This [00:04:58] discussion and this openness in the internal [00:05:01] Israeli discussion, despite all [00:05:04] their criminality, but they know their interests, is completely [00:05:07] absent from the Palestinian [00:05:11] stage and the Arab stage, and within the Lebanese [00:05:14] stage, especially Hezbollah. The most important thing we can [00:05:18] conclude from this experience, which is not yet [00:05:21] over, but who [00:05:24] reviews? Who holds accountable? How do we read [00:05:27] this experience, October 7? What if [00:05:31] October 7 was summarized as a military [00:05:34] operation that was professionally executed? However, the issue is in the conclusions. [00:05:38] But how much did it turn into a political project [00:05:42] to control the land, whether in Palestine or [00:05:46] in Lebanon? This introduction is the introductions that started when [00:05:49] their obsession became power, their obsession became influence, not [00:05:53] their obsession with the state. Investing [00:05:56] in division is the most dangerous thing that the Palestinian [00:05:59] cause has been exposed to, and we saw this throughout the past period [00:06:02] that preceded October 7, which is the Israeli investment [00:06:06] in Palestinian division and the response by Hamas, [00:06:09] considering that merely holding Gaza is the most [00:06:13] they aspire to and strive for. Therefore, the project [00:06:17] of a Palestinian state, based on the idea that this state [00:06:21] within the Oslo agreements is not acceptable or not so, but they [00:06:25] were happy with the division, and this is the same logic that [00:06:28] Hezbollah uses, because it seems to be [00:06:33] ideological discourse that it is possible, [00:06:37] through these divisions and investment in division within [00:06:41] societies, and exclusivity in making [00:06:44] decisions without taking into account [00:06:47] all other elements in society and all factors [00:06:50] and national interests, that it could lead to a result [00:06:54] in favor of the Palestinian people or in favor of Palestine. This can only lead [00:06:57] to a result for regional influence. That is, Iran [00:07:01] benefits from it, but neither Palestine nor the Lebanese [00:07:04] people benefit from it today, and even other [00:07:07] regional and international parties may benefit from it, but on the level [00:07:11] of achieving interests for the Palestinian people [00:07:14] or for Lebanon, no. We were always seeing choices that [00:07:18] were going in the direction of risking these interests, [00:07:21] and what we are experiencing today indicates that these [00:07:25] choices that were adopted by [00:07:28] what is called the axis of resistance were [00:07:31] destructive. Yes, destructive for the Palestinians [00:07:34] and destructive for the Lebanese, and also destructive [00:07:37] for what we can call an Arab regional system that could [00:07:41] have played a role at some [00:07:44] not diminish Israel's crimes, because we agree that [00:07:48] we are dealing with a fierce enemy. No one disagrees with that, no one [00:07:52] overbids on anyone on this matter. [00:07:55] fierce enemy? What is the least costly formula [00:07:59] that can lead to a result in dealing with such an enemy? If [00:08:02] I always put the Israeli in front of a challenge [00:08:05] of weapons, he wins with weapons. The Israeli [00:08:09] wins, it's clear. We cannot defeat the Israeli [00:08:13] militarily, we cannot without weapons. This is a challenge [00:08:18] enemy, how to deal with this enemy, how [00:08:21] to confront the dangers of this enemy. [00:08:24] The best thing for the Israeli is to put him in a position [00:08:28] where the response he will take is [00:08:31] military. And the most dangerous thing you can do to embarrass [00:08:35] the Israeli is when you corner him diplomatically, or when [00:08:38] you prefer him, or when you don't give him a military pretext. Some [00:08:42] may say, "What pretext does he need?" Of course, he needs a pretext, [00:08:45] and he benefits from the pretext. And I'll give a simple example. [00:08:49] In Lebanon, for example, [00:08:52] um, the Israeli of Lebanon, perhaps the Palestinian [00:08:55] cause, certainly the Palestinian cause has its presence [00:08:59] and effectiveness and its global impact. But you notice [00:09:02] that in Lebanon, with everything that happened in Lebanon, there was no march in the world [00:09:05] that appeared in support of, or to react to [00:09:09] anything. There was no march, no demonstration, nothing. [00:09:13] Hassan Nasrallah was assassinated, but no demonstration [00:09:16] took place anywhere in the world, [00:09:20] maybe in Iran or something, but not in Europe, in America, nothing happened. [00:09:23] Why? Because the world views this war [00:09:27] as an Iranian-Israeli war, not a Lebanese-Israeli [00:09:30] war, in the sense that Lebanon is helpless and not in control, [00:09:34] especially since it was preceded [00:09:37] by multiple visits by international envoys during the first [00:09:41] support war. They would tell Hezbollah, [00:09:44] "Brother, stop it. The Israelis might enter, [00:09:48] withdraw three kilometers, and let the army [00:09:51] deploy." All these calls, [00:09:55] from dozens of European and international [00:09:57] and Arab and non-Arab delegates, [00:10:01] were all disregarded, and Hezbollah proved [00:10:04] daily that it was fighting a battle [00:10:07] in response to the interests of an axis, [00:10:10] Iran's axis. And from [00:10:13] here, the world was not looking at this war as having [00:10:16] been started by Israel, but rather that Hezbollah [00:10:20] insisted on starting it, and it began as if, unfortunately, [00:10:23] as if it was an aggression against Israel, and therefore Israel [00:10:27] had the right. Israel provided this suitable [00:10:30] ground that allowed it to violate in [00:10:33] this manner. And this is certainly not justifiable for Israel, but we are just saying [00:10:37] how the resistant mentality deals with Gaza. [00:10:40] Yes, and from Gaza, Israel moved to the West Bank today [00:10:43] and to Lebanon today. How are you reading the scene in the West [00:10:47] Bank? Confiscation of lands, seizure [00:10:51] of these lands, demolition of homes. [00:10:55] Israel is exploiting all of this situation. October [00:10:58] 7, yes, which perhaps all of us, [00:11:01] at a certain moment, when October 7 happened, and I was one of those [00:11:05] who, for the first moment, [00:11:08] was excited about it, that it was an unusual scene, [00:11:12] but we soon discovered because there are also legitimate [00:11:15] questions. I don't want to accuse, [00:11:19] but in other words, was this operation, I mean, [00:11:22] intentionally Israeli? I mean, was there [00:11:26] least the Israelis are asking these questions, so let's also [00:11:30] ask these questions. Also, the circle between them [00:11:33] is more in the elections now or in the campaigns. These [00:11:36] are questions meaning that this battle, this, [00:11:40] this means the method used [00:11:42] by [00:11:45] Hamas, and let's see its repercussions and results, [00:11:49] which occurred, and this is one of the repercussions of your question about the [00:11:52] West Bank, because Israel took advantage, succeeded [00:11:56] in investing the scene of entering [00:11:58] the Gaza envelope and entering and the captivity [00:12:02] and the captivity operation that happened to civilians and so [00:12:05] on, and the operations that [00:12:08] not comparable to what Israel committed, of course. However, [00:12:12] Israel was able and succeeded in [00:12:14] creating, I mean, if you want, a narrative [00:12:19] this behavior in the sense that it justified it [00:12:23] in the sense that [00:12:26] seriously in confronting Israel, and Israel [00:12:29] benefited from this situation to launch the operation [00:12:33] that it is trying to, I mean, [00:12:35] end any dream of the possibility of establishing [00:12:39] a Palestinian state, and rather, perhaps, to create [00:12:42] all suitable conditions for a new displacement [00:12:47] the West Bank. I mean, it is trying to create harsh conditions [00:12:53] Israeli escalation and the international [00:12:56] embrace of the two-state solution, [00:12:59] Mr. Ali, and today you are seeing, I mean, Israel today [00:13:03] is standing against states, [00:13:05] so certainly, somewhere, we are seeing what happened with [00:13:09] Britain, the closure of the consulate, [00:13:11] and there is a real discussion within Israel about [00:13:15] what it means, what was achieved. [00:13:19] There was, perhaps, a conference of studies four or five days [00:13:22] ago in Israel about the issue of the Palestinian cause. Did [00:13:26] these events, or what happened after October 7, and all that [00:13:29] resulted from it, and what Israel did, lead [00:13:32] to the weakening, if you will, of the Palestinian cause, or to [00:13:36] its strengthening? There is an opinion within these [00:13:40] research and study centers [00:13:44] that says that the Palestinian cause has become more [00:13:47] present in the global [00:13:50] international positions. Now, of course, the United States [00:13:53] is the main and influential party in a big way, and a supporter [00:13:57] of Israel. But also, Israel's image [00:14:00] declined, in the sense of a democratic state in the region, [00:14:03] that it has human rights and so on. That image [00:14:07] was damaged, it is no longer as it was. Clearly, the problems [00:14:10] of the Israelis with more than one country at the level... But how do you read [00:14:14] the statements of the Israelis today, from Netanyahu [00:14:18] to Smotrich and Ben-Gvir, and how much do you see that [00:14:21] the political struggle today during the elections or the preparation [00:14:26] struggle is pushing them to escalate more, whether in Gaza or [00:14:30] in the West Bank or in Lebanon? At some point, [00:14:33] at some point, now, just a little [00:14:37] bit, a little bit for a joke, [00:14:41] um, the Israelis have started to resemble us in a certain [00:14:44] way, I mean, Israeli policies [00:14:47] have always been based on studies and research [00:14:50] and, I mean, how political choices are made, [00:14:54] how within institutions, today [00:14:57] we see demagogues. [00:15:01] member of parliament comes out, [00:15:03] I mean, the rabbis are leading in a certain [00:15:07] way. There is, I mean, absolute [00:15:10] fanaticism. They reached the point of threatening, they reached [00:15:13] the point of threatening [00:15:17] there is a part, there is something of unusual behavior [00:15:20] in Israeli behavior. For example, in, [00:15:23] I mean, the Israeli [00:15:26] army in the past, in previous periods, [00:15:30] 10, 15, and 20 years ago, in the context of the Lebanon [00:15:33] war, the Israeli, for example, we [00:15:36] know that during the occupation of South Lebanon, if one [00:15:39] of the resistance fighters was killed, martyred in an operation, the Israeli would [00:15:42] take the body and put it [00:15:46] in a special cemetery and assign a number [00:15:48] to the cemetery. Today, the Israeli leaves [00:15:52] the bodies to animals and dogs. He doesn't take [00:15:58] behavior. Secondly, the Israelis [00:16:01] are now stealing in villages in South Lebanon. [00:16:05] This is not typical of the Israeli army. I mean, [00:16:10] in other words, look how the Israelis are changing. [00:16:14] They are doing this, I mean, they want [00:16:17] a security belt to protect their northern settlements, while we are now [00:16:21] seeing them paving military roads, [00:16:24] holding their celebrations inside the homes [00:16:27] of Southerners in the South. These are phenomena that were not [00:16:32] in the past. This is what I am talking about, the change that is [00:16:35] happening, yes, in Israeli society, [00:16:39] in the Israeli army, in... At some point, there is a state [00:16:42] of تجاوز [violation] of the rules and conditions [00:16:46] that the Lebanese army, the Israeli army, used to adopt [00:16:50] in its behavior. I mean, suffice it to say [00:16:53] that, as you said, these celebrations, [00:16:55] the thefts, [00:16:58] leaving the bodies [00:17:02] of people [00:17:05] and unfortunately, in many areas, this was [00:17:07] much talked about. And these [00:17:11] bombings that we are witnessing, Mr. Ali, do they justify [00:17:14] the Israeli fears? No, no, this [00:17:18] reflects, I mean, [00:17:21] it reflects as if there is a plan being [00:17:24] implemented, [00:17:26] um, [00:17:28] certainly, but also stemming from a state [00:17:32] of hostility that we are hostile to [00:17:35] all humans, because in Israel, in previous periods, it occupied the South, it's not the first time [00:17:39] it occupies the South, but it has never carried out [00:17:42] bulldozing operations like those happening today. Villages are being [00:17:46] completely wiped out. Villages are being eradicated from their very existence. They are no [00:17:50] longer completely there. There have been earthquakes caused by, of course, [00:17:53] what we saw during the bombing, Ali [00:17:56] Taher. The bombings that happened, the Mansouri bombings [00:18:01] the strikes, the bombings [00:18:04] that echo, I mean, you can be [00:18:07] at a distance of 45 and 50 km and [00:18:10] hear the sounds or the tremors that are [00:18:14] happening as a result of the bombings. No, there is something unprecedented [00:18:18] in the history of Israeli behavior, [00:18:21] and this is what I am saying, that it indicates at some point that [00:18:25] there is a transformation, and we are not saying anything new [00:18:28] that there is a new group ruling Israel, and there is a new, [00:18:32] more brutal logic that has no room [00:18:35] for diplomatic and humanitarian aspects. But at the same [00:18:39] time, this also carries the seeds of [00:18:42] weakness, not just the seeds of strength. [00:18:45] behavior, at its core, contains a weakness, an inability [00:18:51] an inability, I mean, a blatant [00:18:54] and explicit declaration that we live [00:18:57] alone and will not live with others, [00:19:01] that we cannot live in peace and security except by using [00:19:04] killing and crime. Can Israel, even if [00:19:07] it controls all its surroundings, live [00:19:12] behavior confirms that it is unable [00:19:16] to live in peace and uses this method as if it is declaring that [00:19:19] it is unable to live in peace, and therefore Israel [00:19:22] wins now, and wins in two years, wins in four years, [00:19:26] but if there is a strategic mind in Israel thinking 50 years [00:19:29] ahead, how can it continue in this way and with this [00:19:33] method, by eliminating, [00:19:36] by occupying, occupying the areas in Lebanon [00:19:39] and Syria, specifically by violating the West [00:19:43] Bank in the way we see today, [00:19:46] and by attempting to re-annex the West Bank with what happened [00:19:49] in Gaza? So how can one imagine [00:19:52] that a state with these characteristics, no matter how much [00:19:56] material power it possesses, is capable of continuing [00:19:59] in a state of hostility that it spreads every day [00:20:03] in its surroundings, in any way different [00:20:06] from it towards all the surrounding peoples? Now, Mr. Ali, [00:20:10] in parallel with this Israeli escalation in South Lebanon, [00:20:14] talk is still ongoing about negotiations and [00:20:17] about a new round between Lebanon and Israel [00:20:21] in Florida. What do you see in this [00:20:23] session? [00:20:26] The military, these military officials will sit down, and this reflects, [00:20:29] in my opinion, according to information, that it is merely a waste [00:20:33] of time rather than a serious session [00:20:36] that is expected [00:20:39] after the Israeli elections. There is a Lebanese opinion [00:20:42] from those concerned with the negotiations that says there is a bet that there will be [00:20:46] a change in the Israeli government. There is a bet, [00:20:49] there is a bet [00:20:52] will enter a new phase of [00:20:56] Lebanese bets on the Israelis, meaning [00:21:00] that this behavior that is happening violates [00:21:02] the agreement, it is not being implemented. There is great [00:21:06] responsibility on Israel in this matter, and therefore there is an opinion that [00:21:10] what happens after the elections will be different from what it was. [00:21:14] This cannot be taken as a certainty, and it is certainly [00:21:17] possible for it to happen, but I am presenting what is being said [00:21:20] in this regard. However, on the other hand, there are also responsibilities [00:21:23] on the Lebanese state [00:21:26] in dealing with what is happening. Certainly, negotiations [00:21:30] are not an option. Everyone is saying it's not, I mean, that [00:21:34] if we go to negotiations, we will obtain our rights, and so on. But [00:21:37] negotiations were a means to curb the Israeli military [00:21:41] advance, and it is the least costly means than [00:21:44] continuing the confrontation, especially since in today's war, it is clear that Hezbollah [00:21:48] has raised the stakes. [00:21:59] The Israeli, even with a bullet, Israel is destroying every day, [00:22:02] killing every day, bombing every day, and there is no bullet from [00:22:06] Hezbollah. What does this mean? It means that Hezbollah is not able to confront [00:22:09] Israel, and therefore [00:22:11] negotiations are the least costly option that the Lebanese state took, and Hezbollah [00:22:15] left no choice for the Lebanese [00:22:22] negotiations, but also, how much do negotiations need to provide a large space to stop these [00:22:26] Israeli aggressions? I mean, [00:22:28] it's a intertwined game. Israel is exploiting [00:22:32] Hezbollah's situation, and two days ago, four days ago, [00:22:34] the Iranians released a video that spread [00:22:38] in the media. One of these [00:22:41] colonels in the Revolutionary Guard [00:22:44] was performing ablution, and it was as if we liberated Iraq and executed [00:22:48] Saddam, he is saying. I mean, clearly, I am performing ablution, [00:22:52] in preparation for the liberation of Jerusalem. What is the message I want to send? [00:22:57] the border and liberate it. Let him launch missiles from Iran at [00:23:01] Tel Aviv, but not from Lebanon. Lebanon can [00:23:04] no longer bear to be a launching pad for [00:23:08] futile operations. And speaking of not bearing it, Mr. [00:23:11] Ali, the southerners today, from this, from this conflict, [00:23:15] are suffering an unprecedented catastrophe. [00:23:18] The southerners made sacrifices, accomplished the liberation in [00:23:21] the year 2000, and that is enough glory for them. More [00:23:25] than that is not required of them. It is required to protect Lebanon. [00:23:28] It is required, but the adventures [00:23:30] and for regional calculations and for the interests [00:23:34] of other countries have led to an unprecedented [00:23:37] catastrophe in the history [00:23:39] of Lebanon and the history of the South and the history of the Shiites [00:23:43] specifically in this country. It's an unprecedented [00:23:46] catastrophe. Who bears responsibility for it? Certainly the enemy [00:23:50] is responsible for this catastrophe, but did we [00:23:53] provide him with the suitable conditions and circumstances [00:23:56] to wage this war? Yes, we provided him with the conditions [00:23:59] and suitable circumstances to wage this war and cause this destruction [00:24:03] and this devastation. Suffice it to say that we failed [00:24:06] to find a supporter for us internationally, [00:24:09] regionally, Arab, European, American. [00:24:13] This, this, this is our mistake, and all [00:24:16] of this is because the decision-maker in [00:24:19] this war, he took the decision to wage war [00:24:23] and paid no attention to the people, nor to what [00:24:26] they owned, nor to their homes, nor to their institutions, and considered [00:24:30] them sacrifices, as if, I mean, the blood [00:24:33] of people and their displacement [00:24:37] and their catastrophe are expected details, [00:24:40] while he was coming out every day telling us, "Yes, I protect you. [00:24:44] I have Israel on its knees. I am the deterrent [00:24:46] force. I am..." All of this turned out to be illusions, [00:24:51] party and in the heart of its leaders. And we saw [00:24:55] the scene where, I mean, all this killing that [00:24:59] Israel practiced against [00:25:02] Lebanese. The Israelis came out knowing their details. [00:25:06] The victims are the families. [00:25:10] These victims, yes, but the victims have [00:25:13] their existence. They are people, they are humans, [00:25:17] they are not, they are not things. They are not [00:25:20] something worthless. They have value, a value, [00:25:23] not to be treated as numbers. [00:25:27] Israel treats them as numbers, but we are treating them [00:25:30] as numbers. I mean, we are treating these victims [00:25:34] and this killing and this death as if it's something normal, [00:25:37] as if it's something natural. No, it's not something. Are you following, Mr. Ali, that the cost [00:25:40] of displacement is very high, and the cost of destruction [00:25:44] to people is also very high? And we are seeing these social [00:25:47] cases today, and we are facing a siege. Because what do you imagine [00:25:51] if, in the face of this displacement and this destruction and these [00:25:54] social crises, do you imagine that they have no [00:25:57] repercussions, no ... [00:26:00] I mean, I expect a social explosion, and a social [00:26:03] explosion is not necessarily positive; it can be [00:26:07] negative. We might see, and we [00:26:09] are seeing in parallel with this inflation, [00:26:12] also many [00:26:15] tension that we don't know where it will lead. [00:26:18] I mean, we don't know how it will [00:26:22] behavior in dealing with these crises [00:26:25] with such indifference, by contenting ourselves with talk [00:26:28] and words, by not taking practical steps that would limit [00:26:32] the effects of this disaster, this will lead us to additional [00:26:36] disasters. And what do you think? Is it possible that Netanyahu will resort to [00:26:39] military escalation again, even though I believe Netanyahu [00:26:43] has secured the north of Israel, he has a security belt, [00:26:47] and he benefits from Hezbollah having weapons and Iranians in Lebanon. [00:26:51] He can strike whenever he wants and escape negotiations and their results [00:26:55] and remain in this situation, and this situation suits Hezbollah and suits [00:26:59] Netanyahu. He still expects Lebanon [00:27:02] to take decisive decisions. This battle, [00:27:05] in its political sense, in its security sense, [00:27:09] in its meaning, [00:27:11] your duty as a Lebanese state. Everyone [00:27:17] is with the state. The state wants the state, and whoever opposes the logic of the state is outside [00:27:20] the state. There won't be a civil war. This is outside the state. [00:27:24] The Lebanese people, most of them, [00:27:26] the vast majority wants the state, wants a state [00:27:30] of law, wants equality, wants [00:27:32] security. Especially since those who promised security [00:27:36] proved to be creators of illusions and caused [00:27:40] an unprecedented catastrophe and disaster for them. Is there anyone who [00:27:43] can be happy with what is happening? The whole world, Mr. Ali, [00:27:47] is on the brink of waiting. The people of the South are on the brink of waiting [00:27:51] to return to their land. They return while they are in the heart [00:27:55] of the catastrophe and disaster, and this is a disaster that no one can deny [00:27:58] today. If they can wait later, I mean, [00:28:04] the consequences of what happened are catastrophic to the extent that [00:28:07] What we don't know will happen, God willing. [00:28:10] All the best, Professor Ali Al-Amin, editor-in-chief of the [00:28:14] Janoubia website. I thank you for this meeting with you today. Thank you [00:28:18] very much. Thank you, and our thanks also go out to you, dear viewers. [00:28:22] May you be in God's [00:28:22] keeping. [00:28:51] The settlement has been with us for almost a year and a half. [00:28:55] Approximately 50% or more of Raba's lands have been confiscated, especially [00:28:59] the southeastern and eastern and northeastern areas. [00:29:20] citizens on a [00:29:23] permanent and continuous [00:29:27] assault is to steal sheep and prevent people from going [00:29:30] to their lands. [00:30:13] The idea of the "Bus of Dreams" came as an initiative from the Palestinian Red [00:30:16] Crescent Society, which was implemented in 2024. [00:30:20] This was to meet the psychological and social needs [00:30:23] and psychological pressures that all segments of the local [00:30:27] community suffer from as a result of the tragic war that occurred in the Gaza Strip in [00:30:30] 2023. So the association responded to this [00:30:33] psychological need through the mental health department, and we implemented this [00:30:37] initiative as a first initiative, meaning the first initiative of its kind in [00:30:40] the Gaza Strip, to have a "Bus of Dreams" that carries children's dreams and travels [00:30:44] with them throughout the Gaza Strip, traveling through displacement camps in all [00:30:48] governorates from the far south [00:30:51] bus was crowned with a set of corners and a set of activities [00:30:54] to reach the children and meet their psychological and social needs [00:30:58] and try to alleviate the psychological pressures that children suffer from as a result of the war [00:31:02] that occurred in 2023 and is still ongoing [00:31:05] until now. [00:31:24] Kareem Al-Zaytouna Tabouna bread [00:31:27] Shadi and the ghalyoun and Yarghoud [00:31:31] and Tik and Aghaniyoru [00:31:45] Dreams in a corner that had a cinema corner, and this [00:31:48] corner, due to the electricity outage for three years in the Gaza Strip, and children [00:31:52] not watching TV or screens or [00:31:56] even having electricity in tents or homes, the idea came up of how [00:31:59] we could create a mobile cinema that travels through displacement camps [00:32:03] and through which children can watch cartoon movies or any [00:32:07] movies they like, animated cartoons, or show [00:32:10] stories with value and of course [00:32:13] meaningful for children. There was a great turnout from children [00:32:17] at the cinema [00:32:20] activities and corners, the cutting and pasting corner, the [00:32:24] storyteller corner, the sports corner, the [00:32:26] sports games corner, and these corners made the children very [00:32:30] happy and met a large number of psychological and social needs [00:32:34] of [00:32:34] the children. [00:32:39] You want to be [00:32:40] a sentence [00:32:56] community mental health to provide social, [00:33:00] psychological, and recreational services to our children within [00:33:03] educational displacement camps through traveling within these camps [00:33:07] from the far south to the far north to provide psychological [00:33:10] and social support and recreational services to our children through [00:33:14] the Dream Bus vehicle, which aims to provide a safe space [00:33:19] the psychological and social pressures that they are going through as a result of the war of extermination [00:33:22] that the Israeli occupation is practicing against our people [00:33:26] during this devastating war. So we, the Palestinian Red Crescent [00:33:29] and mental health, rely on the Palestinian Society's message [00:33:32] to provide humanitarian and recreational services [00:33:36] to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people. We start our day according to a previously [00:33:39] prepared plan, which is coordinated through the mental health department and [00:33:43] through the team. The Dreams and Open Studio team, through [00:33:47] staff and volunteers, coordinates this plan, and through it, [00:33:50] work is done according to the target group present within displacement [00:33:53] camps or hospitals or [00:33:56] the places where work is done or targeted. The idea of [00:33:59] the Bus of Dreams is an idea that came through the community mental [00:34:03] health team and the Palestinian Red Crescent [00:34:06] Society, through our administration that worked on developing this vehicle to provide [00:34:10] humanitarian services that combine entertainment [00:34:13] and psychological relief. The community travels throughout the Gaza [00:34:17] Strip to provide these psychological, social, and recreational services [00:34:21] at the same time, because the Palestinian people suffer from great [00:34:24] difficulties, the war of extermination practiced by the Israeli occupation against [00:34:27] us, psychological pressures and terrorism, shelling [00:34:30] and terrorism, and other things. So we [00:34:34] psychological and social pressures through the activities that [00:34:38] we carry out by alleviating the meaning [00:34:40] of games, which is a game activity in case there are [00:34:44] tools. We rely on our specialized team [00:34:48] to make games through the existing environmental tents in light of the shortage, [00:34:51] because today a set of building blocks costs 150 shekels today, [00:34:55] and they are not available in the Gaza Strip because the occupation prevents their entry into the Gaza [00:34:59] Strip. We travel throughout the Gaza Strip to provide [00:35:03] psychological, social, and recreational services [00:35:05] at the same time in the Gaza Strip because the Gaza Strip needs [00:35:09] psychological and social support because it has been suffering from three years of devastating [00:35:13] war and terrorism. So our children need [00:35:16] many days and bitter years until they can alleviate their humanitarian suffering. [00:35:20] In every part of the Gaza Strip, coordination is done with [00:35:23] the existing camps within the Gaza Strip and the educational initiatives [00:35:26] and even the hospitals that provide medical support [00:35:30] for the injured and wounded. We [00:35:33] provide them with psychological and social support by visiting these hospitals [00:35:37] and their centers to alleviate the suffering and psychological pressures that [00:35:40] our Palestinian people suffer from. The difficulties [00:35:43] we face [00:35:49] firstly are the lack of resources or materials. That is, the lack of [00:35:53] toys is a challenge and an obstacle for the team to work, [00:35:56] but we replace them, but we need them. The issue is also that [00:36:00] the spare parts that cars need, we also [00:36:03] , as the Bus of Dreams, have no spare parts, but unfortunately the occupation prevents the entry [00:36:06] of these things. Some logistical [00:36:10] capabilities that the team needs are also missing, which also prevents [00:36:14] us from performing 100% of our work. That is, there [00:36:18] are also supplies such as paper and stationery and [00:36:21] children's toys that our children desperately need, but the difficulties [00:36:25] we face in the field today are primarily the lack of [00:36:28] suitable camps for the existing reality [00:36:31] due to the destruction and devastation left by the Israeli occupation. That is, some [00:36:35] camps suffer from lack of water or even roads, [00:36:41] entering these areas because they are not qualified. [00:37:09] My corner, the open studio corner, [00:37:13] involves more than one activity [00:37:16] within the corner. We have cutting and pasting, we have [00:37:20] drawing, we also have handicrafts, [00:37:23] we have wool crafts [00:37:25] that we make, like bookmarks [00:37:30] the children. We also [00:37:33] work on shadow puppets [00:37:36] and dolls. We let [00:37:38] the child escape the reality he [00:37:41] lives in by making up a story [00:37:44] and writing it. After we write it, we turn it into a script. [00:37:47] We divide this script into characters. [00:37:50] We make dolls [00:37:53] from them, made by the children. I teach them how to make [00:37:59] the character, and then we perform the play in its [00:38:04] the children, and we produce a complete play. [00:38:07] We perform [00:38:09] occasions, [00:38:12] whether it's a national occasion, [00:38:16] Mother's Day, Eid, any occasion. We perform [00:38:20] acrobatic shows for them. We choose a group, we choose a suitable [00:38:23] song for the occasion, [00:38:26] and we start working on it. We train the children on how to make [00:38:29] movements suitable for the music in the song. [00:38:33] So a complete acrobatic show is performed with the children. We present them [00:38:37] at the association's celebrations or in the camps [00:38:41] where we are present. We, in our center, [00:38:44] welcome children from [00:38:46] around [00:38:49] the association, children from the local community, children with special [00:38:52] needs. Many categories of them come to us. [00:38:56] We welcome them at the association, and also from the rehabilitation center, [00:38:59] we take a large group of children with special needs. [00:39:03] The children I was working with before [00:39:07] the war and during the war, the children [00:39:10] changed a lot in a [00:39:13] fundamental way, a radical change. [00:39:16] The children [00:39:19] were affected by the life they lived in the tents, [00:39:23] by the tragedies they saw and were exposed [00:39:25] to. I mean, many of them used to come to us before, and their [00:39:29] mental state was very comfortable. [00:39:32] They were, as I told you, full of activity. They loved to participate [00:39:36] with us in all our parties, in all [00:39:38] our events. I noticed that some children [00:39:42] had no motivation [00:39:45] to work, no [00:39:48] enthusiasm for work. [00:39:51] They were distracted 24 hours a day. We sat with them for more [00:39:54] than one session. The girl at first did not talk about anything [00:39:58] she had been exposed to or what [00:40:00] she saw. After a period of working with her, [00:40:03] I continued with her for almost two months, [00:40:07] following up on her work, and we noticed that the girl [00:40:10] was suffering at the end [00:40:14] of working with her, that she was suffering from a problem, that she [00:40:18] saw a dead [00:40:20] street. This affected her completely. She told [00:40:24] me, "I don't know how to eat. I'm [00:40:27] sitting at home, for example, and I can't stop thinking about it. It occupies my mind [00:40:31] all the time. Even in my sleep, I have nightmares, and when I'm awake, [00:40:34] the only thought I have is this." So we worked with her in a way that [00:40:38] I started to occupy her mind. For example, today you have [00:40:42] to take this work and do it at home. I want you to bring it to me tomorrow, [00:40:46] completely finished. These drawings, I want you [00:40:48] to color them. This story, for example, from the other [00:40:52] groups, I send it to other activities. You have to take this story [00:40:55] and read it. So the girl started to get busy little by little [00:40:59] with the things we gave her. So she started to [00:41:02] improve significantly compared to before. So she told me, "I no longer [00:41:07] this matter." So little by little, she started to forget the scene [00:41:11] she saw with the things we were doing with them. During the war, [00:41:15] I would go and fetch water, and I'll give it to you. [00:41:19] You came and changed our spirits, [00:41:22] and you brought [00:41:25] us games as well. [00:41:28] And cinema, and stories, and everything. I mean, we were happy. [00:41:31] I wish the war would end [00:41:34] and we would go back to our lives. I am the only survivor. [00:41:38] I came out of the house like this. [00:41:40] I didn't feel anything except that I was eating [00:41:44] and the damage was upon us. I didn't feel [00:41:47] the hospital. Before the war, we didn't see this. [00:41:50] Animated pictures, animated pictures they brought us. [00:41:54] They brought a TV and they brought the bus for them. [00:41:57] They are playing with us, letting us draw. We haven't studied [00:42:01] or played in a long time. We want to study, we want [00:42:04] to write, we want to play. When the bus of reconciliation came, we played. [00:42:08] We watched them make the tent and make the TV. [00:42:27] We all know that children, in light of the tragic war, lived [00:42:30] through very difficult situations of displacement and movement through [00:42:34] trailers and watching many very [00:42:37] painful scenes of shelling and... I mean, many [00:42:40] terrifying scenes. Children were exposed to a range of behavioral [00:42:44] and psychological problems that affected their psychological well-being. We even found [00:42:48] that children suffer from involuntary urination as a result of continuous [00:42:52] stuttering, they suffer from very difficult situations. However, through our activities [00:42:56] in the mental health department, [00:43:01] behavioral problems as much as possible. Through [00:43:05] the mental health department, the department carries out a large number of supportive [00:43:08] programs, including the "Corners" program through the "Open [00:43:12] Studio," which is a safe place for children within [00:43:15] the association. It carries out a range of activities and events [00:43:19] to alleviate the psychological pressures that children experience, in addition [00:43:22] to a room we called the "Play Therapy" room, through [00:43:26] referred children as individual cases [00:43:30] and work with them. The play [00:43:33] children. A large number of children have been referred to it, whether they are wounded from [00:43:37] the hospitals located in the association, [00:43:41] such as the Medical Rehabilitation Hospital and Al-Amal [00:43:45] the wounded and their companions within the Palestinian Red Crescent Society's [00:43:49] hospitals, such as Al-Amal Hospital, Al-Ta'heel [00:43:53] Al-Tibb Hospital, Al-Mawasi Hospital, Al-Saraya Hospital, Al-Amal [00:43:56] Al-Aam Hospital, and the medical points affiliated with primary care. So through [00:44:00] the mental health department, there are a group of male [00:44:03] and female specialists who go down to the medical point [00:44:06] and the field hospitals affiliated with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society to meet the psychological [00:44:11] families, companions, and wounded who suffer from [00:44:15] the horrors of wars. Through these cases, we discover cases [00:44:19] that need psychological intervention and need to hold more than one psychological session [00:44:22] with them, and therefore they are referred to the play therapy room [00:44:26] in the Red Crescent Society in Al-Amal City, where [00:44:29] a female psychologist works to open files for children and provide [00:44:35] psychological pressures and behavioral problems that children experience. [00:44:39] We also provide for the local community and work with the most [00:44:42] vulnerable groups, who are women. We carry out [00:44:45] a program called "Bridge of Love," and this program [00:44:49] consists of 10 sessions. Each session is held [00:44:53] during the week. We visit the camp and hold this session, [00:44:56] and there are pre- and post-forms to assess how much the program [00:45:01] the women who [00:45:05] program. The program tries to alleviate the psychological pressures [00:45:09] that they suffer from as a result of being in a tent. We all know that a tent [00:45:13] has many difficult issues. Until now, the Palestinian people, [00:45:16] especially in the Gaza Strip, have not been able to adapt to the tent [00:45:20] in all its details. We imagine that a person was [00:45:23] living in a stable environment in a home where he felt [00:45:26] safe, stable, and private. Now, women live [00:45:29] in a tent where there is no privacy or secrecy in dealing [00:45:33] with their children or their husbands inside the tent. But she tries [00:45:38] need, to try to live with her family members inside [00:45:42] the tent so that she can cope with the living [00:45:45] conditions. This has affected her, causing her to experience a great [00:45:48] deal of psychological pressure. Women suffer from a lack [00:45:52] of privacy and secrecy due to the presence of tents, but she tries [00:45:57] things in a way [00:46:00] that involves awareness. So we always try to educate women and [00:46:03] children about the initial reactions to psychological trauma and psychological [00:46:07] pressures that they suffer from. We try to empower them with a set [00:46:10] of psychological skills, such as relaxation, walking, [00:46:13] expression, and alleviating the severity of psychological effects and psychological [00:46:17] pressures. We try to empower them with a set of activities, [00:46:21] a set of techniques, a set of strategies so [00:46:24] that they can alleviate psychological pressures. We try to help them [00:46:27] also deal with their children during fear, during displacement, during shelling. And this [00:46:31] is something that the Red Crescent Society, through its mental health department, [00:46:35] is trying hard to do, from the beginning of the war until now, to be [00:46:38] present in the local community with women, children, [00:46:42] and the elderly. Our wish, as the Bus of Dreams, is that life returns [00:46:46] to normal, and that the war ends, and the suffering [00:46:49] of people ends, and the crossings open, and the wounded travel. [00:47:24] this area, we transferred it to all the branches [00:47:27] existing in the sector. So we also have [00:47:31] different corners [00:47:34] and also different activities that we carry [00:47:37] out. So each activity is different from [00:47:40] the other activity, depending on the children and depending on their ages and depending [00:47:46] the camp or the available capabilities in the place internally. [00:47:49] The difficulties are the scarcity of available capabilities. I mean, [00:47:52] frankly, there are many things we ask for during work that we [00:47:56] don't find. Glue is very, very [00:47:59] difficult to get. The products that we used [00:48:02] to have completely available, we can't find any [00:48:07] capabilities are very, very scarce. So we [00:48:10] work with what is available and we can [00:48:13] also produce things from the place itself. [00:48:18] used paper, [00:48:20] cardboard, for example, we carried out an activity [00:48:24] of houses. Each one is a house they dream of, how they [00:48:28] want to build it. So we made them houses out of cardboard. [00:48:31] We designed them and colored them with the colors that each child wanted [00:48:35] to color them with. Frankly, the Red Crescent [00:48:37] has been very supportive of us and has been backing [00:48:40] us to the extent that it provided us with a car so that [00:48:44] places. It provides us with many capabilities. I mean, [00:48:48] anything available in the market, they bring it to us. Our aspirations are for the war to end. I mean, frankly, [00:48:52] we lived through [00:48:59] indescribable and untold things. [00:49:02] So we lived through many difficulties and many circumstances. I mean, [00:49:06] we were harmed, the children were harmed, the whole society [00:49:09] was harmed by this war, and we all suffered. Despite [00:49:12] this suffering, we continued our work, [00:49:17] the children to relieve them and they also relieved [00:49:20] the suffering that we are experiencing. [00:49:31] We also have a program for the elderly. We try to sit with the elderly. We all [00:49:35] know that the war also brought its woes upon the elderly. [00:49:38] In a normal situation, they live on, I mean, [00:49:41] they sleep in a clean place, [00:49:45] a clean bed, their food is clean. Today, unfortunately, the elderly live in [00:49:48] a tent that does not protect them from the heat of the sun and does not protect them from the severe [00:49:51] cold. They suffer from a range of chronic diseases, they suffer from psychological [00:49:54] pressures as a result of, for example, witnessing shelling or [00:49:58] the martyrdom of one of their children or the capture of one of their children. These effects have left very [00:50:02] difficult effects on the elderly. However, through our awareness-raising activities and supportive [00:50:05] activities for the elderly, we were able through these activities to alleviate [00:50:09] the severity of the psychological effects that the elderly suffer from, through initiatives, [00:50:12] through awareness sessions, through meaningful activities, through [00:50:16] continuous sessions, through even crowning the Bus of Dreams by [00:50:20] having it go down and hold meetings. It carries out recreational activities for the elderly [00:50:24] and women in displacement camps. Of course, the need [00:50:27] is great and the challenges are very difficult that we suffer from, but the Red Crescent [00:50:31] Society, through its mental health department, is still [00:50:34] present and keeps pace with [00:50:40] to reach the largest possible number of vulnerable groups so that we can provide [00:50:44] psychological and social services to all segments of the local community without exception. [00:50:47] We also had an intervention with people with special needs [00:50:51] at Hamad Hospital. We reach, through the Bus of Dreams, [00:50:54] the most vulnerable groups, who are the most, I mean, [00:50:58] suffering from disabilities or amputations.
