Malcan's body was never recovered. His [00:00:07] story reminds us that the deepest [00:00:09] of wound of war is not only the lives it takes. Sometimes the [00:00:13] greatest cruelty is leaving mother with nowhere to hold her [00:00:17] final [00:00:17] goodbye. [00:00:24] of [00:00:24] of [00:00:27] Lebanon signed the peace deal. "I know, I [00:00:31] of of know p steel is doing lot of heavy lifting here, like calling [00:00:35] hostage negotiation, a play date. Here's the [00:00:38] setup, one side has tanks parked in the other side's backyard, the [00:00:42] other side's resistant, the only force that [00:00:45] in actually fought Israel to a stand still in this region for two [00:00:49] of decades was even allowed in the room. That's not negotiation, [00:00:53] that's the occupy writing the terms and calling it [00:00:56] of diplomacy. Washington called it a good day, Israel's..." called it a [00:01:00] major win, lebanon's government called it a first step towards [00:01:04] sovereignty, but here's what the deal actually says: [00:01:08] israely troops stay in southern Lebanon for as long as [00:01:12] they want, no deadline, no exit date, meanwile the [00:01:15] Lebanese army is handled the job, this arm the [00:01:19] Islamic Resistance, the group that drove [00:01:22] of Israel out of Lebanon [00:01:23] of was before a strict timeline with Israel and Washington [00:01:27] grading its progress, they [00:01:29] of even built a [00:01:30] a committee for it, the military coordination group, whose job [00:01:34] of is to decide if Lebanon is being sovereign enough. Think about [00:01:37] that, nation needs a permission slip co-signed by the [00:01:41] country occupying it, to prove it controls its own [00:01:45] territory, and while Lebanon [00:01:47] of disarms its own defenders, Nitin Yahoo, a [00:01:50] in man wanted by the international criminal court is [00:01:53] celebrating, because the deal [00:01:55] a lets his army stay exactly where it is, when the [00:01:59] side facing war crime charges is the happiest person at the [00:02:03] signing that tells you everything about who this deal actually [00:02:07] serves. this is after months of Israeli strikes that killed [00:02:10] 4,200 people and displace [00:02:14] hundreds of thousands [00:02:15] of of lebanese [00:02:16] of civilians, of according to lebanon's own health ministry. now even [00:02:20] rebuild their homes, lebanese families need their government to [00:02:24] hit milestones approved by the [00:02:27] of same countries that just bombed them. we have. seen this movie [00:02:30] before [00:02:32] of 1983, same promises, same playbook and even weaker lebanese [00:02:36] garment and far more Israeli troops on the ground, it took [00:02:40] the [00:02:40] of lebanese people less [00:02:41] of than year to rip [00:02:42] of it to pieces and built a resistance that fought Israel [00:02:46] out [00:02:47] of their country instead. history already answered the question this [00:02:50] agreement is pretending to ask. the only thing that [00:02:54] ever restored lebanese sovereignty wasn't a signature in [00:02:58] Washington, it was [00:02:59] Resistance. [00:03:04] of [00:03:21] in [00:03:23] of [00:03:32] and of welcome [00:03:33] of everyone's foreign ministry says a deal [00:03:35] with oman a route through the strat hormose is in the final [00:03:38] stages, but US and Israel still pose a danger to ships in [00:03:42] this very vital waterway. spokesperson Ismaal Bago [00:03:46] has said in [00:03:47] a agreement in between Iran and Oman a shipping route through this waterway, it [00:03:51] does not automatically guarantee safe passage or [00:03:55] of a reopening, warning US military action in the region could still undermine security. he also [00:03:59] cited: US has declared naval blockade on Iran and other quote [00:04:03] aggressive and threatening actions against Iran and its interests and [00:04:07] quote. Iran and Oman's pending announcement on Austrada hormos's new [00:04:10] management regime, challenges from third party obstruction and [00:04:14] threats and what this all means for the future of regional stability is [00:04:18] focus of our [00:04:48] negotiations between Iran and Oman regarding future [00:04:51] operations, arrangements, forestrated hormoson, and how it may seem [00:04:55] logical uh to many, yet unbearable and unacceptable [00:04:59] to the... US and his friends, [00:05:02] well, I think we've been here many times [00:05:05] of before, in various guises where [00:05:09] there is the tantalizing appeal [00:05:13] of some sort of settlement that is going to study oil [00:05:17] prices first and foremost um, but as we know [00:05:21] there's been ires and [00:05:23] agreements which have driven the [00:05:27] oil price price down again and then there's been a lot of [00:05:30] insider trading trading probably [00:05:34] associated with the US administration and [00:05:37] Israel [00:05:40] um that is then um taken advantage [00:05:43] the the price move and and then started hostilities [00:05:47] again, as you pointed out in your introduction, the [00:05:51] fact that there is an agreement between Iran and [00:05:55] Oman um is a good thing a way, [00:05:58] but that is not really the issue, the issue is how are [00:06:02] the other parties going to react? um, [00:06:06] there's, i saw briefly there was an attack on an [00:06:09] Indian tanker not in the straight. [00:06:13] all news, but clearly the situation is volatile [00:06:16] everywhere. um, the thing is that [00:06:19] Israel and the US seem intent on [00:06:23] pursuing their current course. in Israel's case, it seems to [00:06:27] be a course of self-destruction, and in the US's [00:06:30] case, its military supremacy is clearly [00:06:34] being eclipsed as not what they claim [00:06:38] to be, um, I'm sure you're aware as I am [00:06:42] the... number of missiles they've they've used and how [00:06:46] their stop pile of weapons is diminishing, [00:06:50] so I'm not sure where this where this gets us to from [00:06:53] here on, but certainly the countries in [00:06:57] the region, Oman, Saudi, Kuwait and other Gulf [00:07:01] nations are a difficult position where that [00:07:05] they are clearly to some degree beholden to [00:07:08] Israel, as are many countries, not least through the... [00:07:12] infrastructure and um information [00:07:15] technology um, which which is something [00:07:19] of a blackmail leaver um, but [00:07:23] they they would clearly prefer [00:07:27] to come to an agreement with Iran if they [00:07:30] can, but they're being pulled in two directions, so I don't think [00:07:34] it's possible to predict with any certainty what what [00:07:49] on Iran and Oman sitting down for these discussions, which I should uh uh [00:07:52] add clarify for our viewers, they're nothing new, they began [00:07:56] in the very first days following the Iran a US seasfire back on [00:08:00] April 8th, so they've been going on for a couple months now and uh they've [00:08:04] actually entered a more serious phase after the June 18th [00:08:08] agreement known as the Pakistani immediated memorandum of [00:08:11] understanding. [00:08:27] treaties going on in the world, from [00:08:30] Dofor to Mountro, to [00:08:34] Jabeltar, to Suas Canal, [00:08:37] Bosford and so many others are, [00:08:41] there is some kind of... treaties and [00:08:44] agreements under the international [00:08:46] law , and we see [00:08:50] that they are getting fees under what so [00:08:54] called service charge, and I [00:08:57] believe they Oman and Iran have [00:09:01] the right to to [00:09:04] get such agreements between both [00:09:08] them in order to get what so called service [00:09:11] charge. so this is from one point, from the other [00:09:15] point we can see if there is no American pressure [00:09:19] on the gulf states and the Gulf [00:09:23] states will put pressure on Oman not to go all the [00:09:27] way along with the Iranian [00:09:30] benefits and Omani's benefits. [00:09:34] From the legal point of view we [00:09:38] can see we are talking about two coastal countries. [00:09:42] Oman and Iran and the intervention coming from [00:09:46] 8000 mile miles away to [00:09:50] interfere in who has right to do on his [00:09:53] own water or [00:09:55] land uh legal [00:09:58] right so I believe if we take it [00:10:02] from all those dimensions Iran and [00:10:06] will get to a certain treaty what whatever [00:10:10] they want to call it they will. call it as I said service [00:10:14] charge or let's say transit [00:10:17] fees or so on, but there is another thing that it [00:10:21] should be taken right now uh and... [00:10:27] and you know under what the minister of foreign affairs, the [00:10:30] Iranian minister of foreign affairs said that the straight [00:10:34] of hormos is open during peace time and it is [00:10:38] closed during war time, so time so [00:10:42] you have to choose, he's he's talking about the he's talking [00:10:46] with the American and he's talking with the whole world if you want this [00:10:50] straight of hormos to be open and normal so [00:10:54] it must must bring, you must bring peace to this [00:10:57] area. And Clive, do you think the US [00:11:01] seeing, Iran and Omon too empowered [00:11:05] by exercising their sovereignty and establishing this management [00:11:08] system that they feel, at least with with Iran, you saw how they [00:11:12] extended, how Iran extended the leverage the straight hormos to protect the [00:11:16] people of Lebanon, how it uh, yet gas stations [00:11:20] in California people paying an access of six to $7 a gallon for [00:11:24] gas and for. international viewers that might not know what a gallon of gas, that's about [00:11:28] what four to five liters of uh gasoline, so uh [00:11:32] uh most of America was paying over four between four and $5 a [00:11:36] gallon uh some states over six or [00:11:39] $7 a gallon um do you think that that heads in a [00:11:43] DC especially [00:11:44] in the Trump cabinet not to mention how much a blowback Hexith got in front the the [00:11:47] appropriations committee in front the senate with respect to rising gas prices, energy [00:11:51] costs, how much you think uh that contributed to Trump? saying [00:11:55] forget about the mou, we got to take somehow take a control the [00:11:59] street hormos away from the Iranians. [00:12:02] um, well, clearly that is that may be [00:12:06] an ambition, but um, that doesn't seem [00:12:10] possible in the context of what we've seen over the last few [00:12:13] months, America doesn't have the wear with all to do [00:12:17] that. um, I think we need to make [00:12:20] distinct distinction between those [00:12:24] who are... are ostensibly in power, [00:12:28] but not really because their answer answerable to much [00:12:32] higher authority that that is pulling the [00:12:35] strings. um, is the American government [00:12:38] acting in the interest the American people? undoubtedly [00:12:42] it isn't otherwise this would never have started. [00:12:45] so in many respects, what is going on [00:12:49] is one but one component the war on us [00:12:53] all, this is... to the the structure it in [00:12:57] its death throat that is conducting a war [00:13:01] across the globe against people uh people [00:13:04] of of Europe, people the UK, people the US [00:13:08] and and people globally um and the structure has no [00:13:12] interest in reaching satisfactory deals, and those that [00:13:16] are ostensibly in power are ocwing [00:13:20] more well to insider trading and various [00:13:24] deals. uh, I mean, there's a great land grab [00:13:27] going on across across uh Gaza, [00:13:31] Lebanon and beyond, [00:13:33] um, the thing is in chaos, [00:13:37] but um, nobody is really in control, they're responding to the [00:13:41] incentives, um, but the [00:13:45] they're now almost a position where they've gone so far, they [00:13:49] have very little to lose by continuing the chaos, [00:13:53] um, the only hope that we have is [00:13:56] that the the populations the various countries [00:13:59] withdraw all support, all cooperation and compliance with their [00:14:03] governments, because this is obviously very [00:14:07] visible and destructive and [00:14:11] horrific situation with the number of deaths that [00:14:15] occurring in the middle east, but there is a [00:14:18] war going on domestically across Europe, UK and the [00:14:22] US, and so... "it's really [00:14:26] up to people to realize that in the main their governments are [00:14:30] not acting in their interests uh, but they're playing the game with [00:14:34] geopolitics and they seem to have no alternative [00:14:38] but to keep doing what they're doing, otherwise we would have we wouldn't have got [00:14:42] into this situation, and Ali, I'd like to also [00:14:46] have you a way in on that, because Iran never exercised its [00:14:49] control or leverage you very well know pre February uh 28th [00:14:53] until its leader." until its top commanders, its political elite, [00:14:57] its teachers, its students, families, infrastructure, we're all targeted [00:15:01] by the US and Israel, and now it does not want to hold global [00:15:04] energy in um, as hostage, you very well know, it just wants to [00:15:08] deter future attacks against this aggression or aggression against the country, [00:15:12] so in essence, the US opposing this new management [00:15:15] system by Moscot and Tehran would only do it why, I mean if [00:15:19] Iran is willing to establish a system that will streamline and allow [00:15:23] full navigation, to conclude and transpire through the [00:15:27] straight, no one should object, unless they have more [00:15:30] machinations, plots and plans for future attacks against Iran, and don't [00:15:34] want to see Iran with that deterrance capacity. [00:15:38] Well let's see what's the outcome for United States and what's the [00:15:42] benefit of United State if the state of [00:15:45] horm was kept closed or [00:15:49] blocked what's the interest of United of United States [00:15:53] and what's the benefit of United States if to continue [00:15:56] such such war against and aggression [00:15:59] against the Iranian on behalf the Israelis [00:16:03] and also where is maga, where is America first? [00:16:07] they it comes out that it was you know i had [00:16:11] some i have so many friends in united state and they are journalist [00:16:15] they are telling me that the [00:16:19] Israel is not a burden on the united state [00:16:22] government ad or administration anymore it's a it's [00:16:26] burdened on the American people [00:16:29] and what you have said that one gallon of [00:16:33] gasoline in some states is over $4 [00:16:37] and other states more than $8 per [00:16:40] gallon, the American are paying [00:16:44] extra money on gasoline every month [00:16:47] for every individual more than [00:16:50] $300, and this is big [00:16:53] amount for the American to spend on something, they [00:16:57] could buy a car, it will be like paying [00:17:01] back mortgages on their cars or on a house or [00:17:05] so for 300 or to 1000. thousand dollars at [00:17:08] least, so I believe what's going on, I think [00:17:12] there is a big economic cris or [00:17:15] crisis coming up to United States, all [00:17:19] because the United State wants to protect the Israelis [00:17:23] and the superiority their security and not to [00:17:27] protect Israel, but because Israel is protected by [00:17:30] the some Arab countries geographically [00:17:34] and let's... say [00:17:38] some kind of strategy, deep strategy, geographically and [00:17:42] politically and also economically, because we can see [00:17:45] some state of [00:17:48] normalizations in in the region, they are protecting Israel, they are [00:17:52] supporting Israel, and they are also participating with the [00:17:56] israelies against Palestinian and Lebanese, I'm talking military [00:17:59] wise, the problem is right now is why [00:18:03] United States should spend from 2001 to 2023. [00:18:07] or 24, more than 13 [00:18:11] trillion dollar to protect the Israeli superiority in the [00:18:14] region. what's what's for? if united state [00:18:18] were was before attacking [00:18:20] Iran, dominating or [00:18:23] controlling the oil [00:18:26] export from [00:18:29] Persian Gulf states, I'm talking about the [00:18:33] Arab states and they were ' free [00:18:37] to go and to pass through [00:18:41] straight of hormos or babel mandab [00:18:44] freely, there was no, there was nothing against [00:18:48] them to to be free in in [00:18:52] the water ways, so for what if it [00:18:56] comes to the American interest, the American interest [00:18:59] is blown up by the Israel's protection [00:19:03] and the the American strategy is spontaneous [00:19:07] ' as we see it up to now, usually usually [00:19:11] we see on the past that the American strategy they [00:19:14] have plan a, plan b, plan c, plan d, whatsoever, [00:19:18] and when they can go back to plan a, they will do it [00:19:22] if it's possible, now the United State has [00:19:26] used all the plans from A to Z against Iran [00:19:30] and nothing changed, so what they should do if they [00:19:34] are grapped by the neck, Iran is... in them by the [00:19:38] neck economically and still the big [00:19:42] explosion not come yet, because if [00:19:45] only the American and the Israelis and the [00:19:49] Saudis are not allowed to either by [00:19:53] Babel mandab or straight of hormos to pass, so what's gonna [00:19:57] happen if the petro dollar will change, will switch [00:20:01] to petro yan, then it will [00:20:05] be a big step. [00:20:09] deep in the heart the United States economy, so I believe right [00:20:13] now they should change and they cannot refill [00:20:16] their strategic reserve of oil, which [00:20:20] is like more than 400 million barrel, [00:20:24] and I believe they they need more time for that, [00:20:28] but this is all connected to the 14 [00:20:32] points that been agreed upon on Islam in [00:20:35] Islamabad, and the first one is... open straight of [00:20:38] hormos against the stopping war and [00:20:42] withdrawal the Israeli enemy from south lebanon this is [00:20:46] didn't happen so and I think the Iran will [00:20:50] still stubborn in such point and the straight of [00:20:54] hormos will be kept closed or [00:20:58] blocked until the American will [00:21:01] let Lebanon free [00:21:04] from the the [00:21:08] K9 or from the Israeli [00:21:11] aggression against it and then the straight of hormones [00:21:14] will be opened and after that we will have another 60 [00:21:18] days to ' to have negotiations over [00:21:22] the nuclear program only, nuclear program [00:21:26] only, not the percentage of enrichment, only [00:21:30] how to to manage it, that's it, and that's [00:21:34] what the Iranian has put on the table, the American [00:21:37] still trying from to z again all [00:21:41] their plans and they come in with the [00:21:45] same results out the Iranian, because the Iranian [00:21:48] has much... "they have much [00:21:51] more uh power or much more [00:21:54] powerful in in strategy, in geography, [00:21:58] and in the logistic ways against the United [00:22:10] just other day said the mou is still there anytime the US wants to go back [00:22:14] and get committed to it, and it was to Alice point goingna lay a [00:22:18] 60-day period. for diplomatic solution to find an [00:22:21] end to aggression against the country that has so far failed to bear the [00:22:25] fruits the US and Israelies wanted to see, and there's no um [00:22:29] guarantee that continued or protracted aggression is ever going to reach [00:22:33] US's objectives when it comes to Iran, so and it's also no secret, [00:22:36] Clive, that Iran is using the straight to protect its people and its [00:22:40] allies in the region, and by opposing this, I mean the US is [00:22:44] preporting, it's opposing this because uh Iran's leverage over [00:22:47] or a management system over the straight of hormose. [00:22:50] uh because it wants to protect international shipping, but many uh critics [00:22:54] feel no, it wants to obstruct any deterrance Iran has to [00:22:57] protect itself against future US and Israeli [00:23:00] aggression. well, there is much [00:23:04] bigger context to this in terms the [00:23:07] economic system, um, [00:23:10] which runs on money, basically, uh, [00:23:14] and that that system inevitably needs the [00:23:18] reset, and in 200 and... was not a reset, [00:23:22] all the debt that was driven up by banks and other [00:23:26] financial player was socialized, so ever [00:23:30] since um, and this economic collapse is [00:23:33] unfolding irrespective of what's happening in the oil [00:23:36] world, um, basically [00:23:39] that the system works on the basis of people having [00:23:43] the way with all to buy goods and services for which they pay [00:23:47] money, but the the... increasing [00:23:51] robotization, automation, AI, these [00:23:54] all things are reducing the need for labor, so this, [00:23:58] this system, this structure that we've lived on under for [00:24:02] some 300 years, is now coming to the end of its useful [00:24:06] life, and this is not the place to [00:24:09] go into it, but an alternative is rising, but on the question [00:24:13] the war, the reason that the war card is being [00:24:17] played and there is no willingness on behalf [00:24:20] the US, Israel and the other players to actually make [00:24:24] peace, is that they are being forced into a position to play the war [00:24:28] card, because they know that the game is up as far [00:24:32] as the global economy is concerned, so we're we're a [00:24:36] situation where they have no choice but to keep doing what they're doing, [00:24:40] which is why I say the power has to come from [00:24:44] the people of America, your other guess mentioned [00:24:47] Marker make America great again. 'um [00:24:51] basically the whole maga movement was a big smoke screen for [00:24:55] actually making America less great than it ever [00:24:58] was um, in fact destroying America as [00:25:02] it was understood to be, so this [00:25:05] is perpetual war is something that has been going on [00:25:09] since 2001, is partially to [00:25:13] distract, it's to increase surveillance, increase [00:25:16] control, but they're losing control, individuals'. [00:25:20] around the world are, particularly in [00:25:23] Europe, the US and the UK [00:25:26] are taking less and less interest in their government in [00:25:30] terms of compliance, and the the they're [00:25:34] making other arrangements, so so the problem [00:25:38] is [00:25:38] that we have economic collapse which is in progress, it's like [00:25:42] slow motion train crash which is [00:25:44] accelerating, and they seem to have other choice [00:25:48] but to keep in. continuing continuing wars, not [00:25:52] just in in the middle east, but we've got similar [00:25:56] problems between um, pakistan in [00:25:59] India, in Kashmir, uh... and [00:26:03] elsewhere um, so war is, war is [00:26:07] something that is always used to distract people from what's really going [00:26:11] on in terms the way people are being [00:26:14] abused and causing causing self [00:26:17] abuse merely to survive, but that period is coming to [00:26:21] an end and we're in the midst of a paradigm shift, and this [00:26:25] war, like many the other madness that is going on [00:26:29] at moment are indicative of a transition to something. [00:26:32] you um, don't have [00:26:36] any choice in what they do, because that's all they [00:27:11] It was just after 10 o'clock in the evening, the Imam Hassan community [00:27:15] gathering in the city of Ray had begun to empty. Eight year [00:27:19] old Avin Amir Khashani, a little girl with brown hair, dimples and [00:27:23] bright eyes, was walking hand in hand with her [00:27:26] mother. Without warning, the night sky turned yellow, [00:27:29] deafining explosion from the nearby oil. finary shook the [00:27:33] ground beneath them, mom, mom, run, run, avina [00:27:37] screamed, then came the dust, the smoke and the [00:27:40] silence. the night before avine had [00:27:44] written in her diary, dear leader, i want to become a martter like [00:27:48] you, less than 24 hours later she died in [00:27:52] her grandmother's arms. this is story of oven's brief [00:27:55] life told through the memories of her mother, who was [00:27:59] herself seriously wounded in the attack. When the war began, [00:28:03] Layla recalls I rushed to collect ovine from school. Two fighter jets [00:28:07] flew overhead and she kept asking what was happening. I told her, I [00:28:11] think America has attacked, but don't worry, you're safe. [00:28:14] Nothing will happen to you. As Laila reaches the [00:28:18] night the explosion, her voice begans to shake. That [00:28:21] evening, after breaking our fast, we went shopping for New Year's [00:28:25] clothes. We bought ovine new pair of trousers. They were a [00:28:29] little too long. I plan to shorten them later. yet [00:28:32] never happened, her husband dropped Laila Vene and her younger [00:28:36] brother at her mother's house. Together, they walked to the nightly [00:28:40] gathering. Ovin happyly carried picture the martered [00:28:43] leader. On their way home, everything changed, the [00:28:47] refinery was struck. The flash was blinding, people scattered in [00:28:51] every direction. Alvin kept shouting, mom, run, mom, run. I can [00:28:55] still hear her voice. When the dust settled, I realized my hand had [00:28:58] been hit by Sharpnow and my left leg had been severed below. [00:29:02] ankle, her mother was holding ovine, she looked peaceful, there [00:29:06] wasn't a scratched on her face, we thought she had simply lost [00:29:10] consciousness, a stranger picked her up and ran towards the [00:29:13] hospital, kept screaming, don't take ovine away, but i [00:29:17] couldn't move, i couldn't even hold my own daughter one last [00:29:21] time, for 10 days while layi in hospital, everyone told her [00:29:25] avin was intensive care, only the day before the [00:29:28] funeral did they tell her she had died, despite the pain, laila [00:29:32] smiles when she remembers her daughter. She was like a bottle of perfume. [00:29:36] Whenever she entered her room, she filled it with warmth. Everyone loved [00:29:40] her. Today, perhaps no one feels Ovine's absence more [00:29:44] deeply than her six-year-old brother, Amir Ali, who was also [00:29:47] injured that night. He didn't just lose sister. Their mother [00:29:51] says he lost his closest [00:29:53] friend. [00:30:30] Iran's president says assassinations. the marted leader the [00:30:33] Islamic Revolution, military commanders and scientists proved the [00:30:37] falsehood the aggressor's claims to human [00:30:40] rights. A Palestinian media group warns that [00:30:44] human rights violations against Palestinian abducties in Israeli [00:30:47] jails have reached unprecedented [00:30:50] levels. Also, [00:30:54] the US state of New Mexico sues the department of justice over [00:30:57] access to unredacted obsteam.
