[00:00:06] of [00:00:16] of in [00:00:17] of [00:00:20] of [00:00:30] resolutions have to be violated, how many more children have to be [00:00:34] annihilated? this is not a war, [00:00:35] it is systematic genocide, but whatever it [00:00:38] of try, palestine will never [00:00:42] of die, [00:00:43] palestine, [00:00:48] of [00:00:53] of hello, i'm chris williamson and this is palestine [00:00:56] declassified where we focus on the international struggle to lib [00:01:00] palestine and expose Israel's efforts to manipulate the political class [00:01:03] and corporate media. In today's show, we'll be examining the [00:01:07] implications [00:01:08] of the national security state threats act, [00:01:11] of which is just been introduced [00:01:12] by the British government. The home secretary Shabana Mahmoud wasted [00:01:16] no time using the powers contained in the act to criminalize support [00:01:20] for the Islamic Revolutionary guard core, which is now punishable by up [00:01:24] to 14 years in prison, [00:01:26] and the new prime minister Andy Burnam posted a statement on social media. [00:01:30] on the 13th of July, welcoming Mahmoud's decision, and is kept [00:01:34] her on as home secretary in his new cabinet. Mahmoud also [00:01:37] designated the elusive and probably non-existent Islamic movement [00:01:41] of companions [00:01:45] e of the right, which conveniently emerged few months ago to take [00:01:47] a responsibility for series of questionable incidents across Europe. So our [00:01:50] introductory report today outlines what this new legislation will mean [00:01:54] in practice. The British government has [00:01:57] designated the Islamic Revolution. Guard score as [00:02:01] of a banned organization on the new legislation rush through [00:02:05] of parliament in days. The [00:02:07] of National Security State Threats Act, [00:02:09] of 2026, introduces designation [00:02:13] power, allowing the home secretary to [00:02:16] a target alleged foreign state-backed organization, creating [00:02:20] new criminal offenses for supporting or assisting them. [00:02:23] These offenses including supporting, assisting [00:02:27] of or obtaining benefits from designated body, carry [00:02:30] penalties of up to 14 years in [00:02:32] of prison. In a written statement to parliament on July the 13th, [00:02:36] 2026, home secretary Shabana Mahmoud [00:02:40] outlined that support for designated body [00:02:44] ranging from expressing a positive opinion to providing [00:02:48] active assistance will be a criminal offense. [00:02:51] However, the [00:02:52] of law specifies that merely holding or sharing a view is [00:02:56] not automatically a crime, unless it meets. certain [00:03:00] statutory [00:03:02] of threshholds. These are in [00:03:03] of particular expressing the opinion with intent to support or in the [00:03:07] course of building material support. It should be noted [00:03:11] that the IRGC is only part [00:03:13] of the military [00:03:14] of the Islamic Republic. The IRGC reportedly has [00:03:18] around 190,000 active personnel, while the [00:03:22] Iranian army, the Artes has some [00:03:25] 420,000. [00:03:27] It will not be legal to voice support for the... [00:03:30] of Artesh or indeed for the Islamic Republic of Iran under this [00:03:34] move, given that the IRGC is not active in the [00:03:38] UK, the purpose of this move is plainly to suppress [00:03:42] questioning of UK government complicity in the genocide in [00:03:45] Gaza, and to ensure that British public opinion does not [00:03:49] shift further towards the Islamic Republic of Iran as [00:03:52] of the leading anti-emperalist nation in the [00:03:55] of world. The other supposedly Iran-linked group [00:03:58] designated is call the Islamic movement of [00:04:02] companions [00:04:02] of the right. The government claims that the IRGC [00:04:06] quote almost certainly directed and quote [00:04:10] attacks attributed to the group, so the government is not [00:04:13] even completely sure that there is a link [00:04:16] a between the group and the IRGC. In fact it [00:04:20] is perfectly clear that the IRGC has no [00:04:23] of role in the [00:04:24] of activities [00:04:25] of the hi. One reason for that is that [00:04:28] of this group does not exist. It is transparently [00:04:31] false flag [00:04:33] of organization set up most [00:04:35] of probably by the Musad as part [00:04:36] of the strategic aim to have the IRGC [00:04:39] prohibited. [00:04:41] of Ironically, there is power to dedesignate an [00:04:44] organization which that organization can avail [00:04:48] itself of. Obviously, an organization that does not [00:04:52] exist is not able to undertake such a [00:04:54] of challenge. The masad [00:04:56] a provides the dramatic terror attacks and the political push from [00:05:00] prescription comes from a long list [00:05:05] of of their assets in the of UK, the board of deputies, the Jewish leadership council, the community securities trust, [00:05:09] the national juis assembly, labor and [00:05:12] of conserv relatives friends of Israel and the zinanis funded Henry [00:05:15] Jackson Society. Yet more evidence the [00:05:19] domination of Zianist interest in UK [00:05:22] politics. Our guest contributor today [00:05:25] is the highly respected author and journalist Evan Ridley [00:05:29] who's reported from conflict zones all over the world. She joined [00:05:33] the global sumtilla last year to take humanitarian aid to [00:05:37] Gaza, but she was abducted [00:05:39] by the Israeli military after her boat was illegally seized in international. [00:05:42] waters. She was then taken to the Zionist colony where she was [00:05:46] subjected to brutal and degrading treatment for several days before being [00:05:50] deported, so I'm delighted that she's been able to join us on the show [00:05:53] today. Our resident expert in the UK's leading scholarly critic of [00:05:57] Israel, David Miller also joins me as usual. He's a co-director [00:06:01] the Lobby Watch Dog Spinwatch and a senior research fellow at the Center for [00:06:05] Islam and Global Affairs, Istanbul Zayen University. Welcome to the [00:06:09] show. David, um, the government. hasn't [00:06:13] actually prescribed the IRGC, has it? I mean, if that's right, I mean, [00:06:16] why is that do you think? Well, it's a very weird thing, [00:06:20] isn't it? On one hand, it's it's said to be uh, [00:06:24] similar to prescription under the terrorism act, but it's not [00:06:28] prescription under the terrorism act, and it's very curious, [00:06:31] especially given this other organization that's been put in there, [00:06:35] Haya, HJ, to give [00:06:39] it its acronym, and because... that is said [00:06:43] to be a terrorist organization and could have been just [00:06:47] prescribed like uh palestine action for example [00:06:51] and no one would have said anything about that, but what's happened here is that they've [00:06:55] got this new power which is to uh to to [00:06:58] deal with what they call state threats and the they can't [00:07:02] really uh although it has been done in other countries they can't really [00:07:06] prescribe the IRGC as a terrorist organization because [00:07:10] it's it's state forces there is other. state forces [00:07:13] on the list of prescribed organizations, al-qaeda or [00:07:17] Heizbollah or the IRA, none them were state forces [00:07:21] and so that's part the reason they find that difficult, [00:07:24] they've already gone through enough trouble, I think probably on the palestine action [00:07:28] prescription, and they wanted to find a different way of doing it, and of course that also [00:07:32] allows them to say that this uh HJ [00:07:36] organization is actually uh being [00:07:40] directed, that's the word they use, directed by the IRGC uh, [00:07:44] which is almost certain, says the home secretary, almost [00:07:48] certain, it's not quite certain, but almost certain, so you've got this [00:07:52] bizarre uh new legislation which is [00:07:55] enacted and designed these two organizations, and it also allows them [00:07:59] to to introduce powers which are more [00:08:03] extensive than under the terrorism act in [00:08:06] particular to do with [00:08:08] um having giving material support and receiving money from [00:08:13] and all those kinds of things, which of course is part the aim [00:08:16] to uh to start to say [00:08:18] that there are organizations in this country which are effectively acting for the IRGC, [00:08:22] which of course is a nonsense? no, [00:08:25] absolutely, and [00:08:27] I mean the IRGC, I mean he isn't even active in the United [00:08:31] Kingdom, so so what do [00:08:32] you think this is all about? [00:08:36] well, [00:08:37] you know, I'm a bit of a pragmatist and [00:08:39] and so let's be pr. matic about this, [00:08:43] because the working class of this country doesn't have the [00:08:47] luxury of getting swept up in westminster's foreign [00:08:51] dramas, this new [00:08:54] legislation has come into to to bun the [00:08:58] irgc, but if you strip [00:09:02] away the the wording and look at it through a [00:09:06] cold legal lens, this irgc [00:09:09] ban is nothing but [00:09:13] politically motivated establishment [00:09:16] theater, and it's the British worker who will end up [00:09:20] paying the price for the diplomatic fallout, [00:09:24] you know, if Lenin were alive today, he'd be looking at Whitehall and [00:09:27] he'd say that this is classic capitalist [00:09:31] distraction when a government is failing its own people, [00:09:35] it manufactures a foreign bogieman, and of course [00:09:38] we're just in between uh... [00:09:42] crossing over from uh Starmer into [00:09:46] where the king the north as Andy [00:09:50] burnam likes to be known, [00:09:52] so we've you know, [00:09:56] unfortunately we've still got shabana Mahmod in the [00:10:00] home office, so her legislation [00:10:03] is carrying on, and [00:10:07] so this this IRGC ban [00:10:11] is uh is... but the thing is the [00:10:14] IRGC does not exist in the [00:10:18] UK, so what they've done effectively is [00:10:22] bann a ghost, they don't have officers. in [00:10:25] Newcastle or Glasgow or the community [00:10:29] hubs in Birmingham and [00:10:31] Manchester, um, so I guess [00:10:35] if if they were active in this country [00:10:38] and that they and they were going to um [00:10:42] carry out criminal activities, they'd have [00:10:46] to uh employ by [00:10:50] proxy criminal gangs and [00:10:53] uh of course, It all sounds dramatic, doesn't it, passing [00:10:57] this um grand decree under the [00:11:01] national security act, um, it makes Shaban [00:11:05] and Mahmoud look tough on defense, [00:11:09] and uh, of course, they're [00:11:12] completely ignoring the real crisis in our [00:11:15] communities, which is the collapse the NHS, [00:11:19] the total lack of affordable housing, and the [00:11:22] decay of our industrial town. so it sounds [00:11:26] tough on tv, but to your ordinary working [00:11:30] class families, it's completely [00:11:33] hollow, and what do you make the fact ivon, that [00:11:37] it's it's a so-called labor government that's that's pursuing this [00:11:40] incredibly authoritarian legislation, this is just the latest [00:11:44] iteration, isn't it? well, this is not the [00:11:48] the labor that recognize from my teens when [00:11:51] i was - the [00:11:55] yellow card as it was then [00:11:59] uh uh you know when I when I joined labor as [00:12:02] teenager, but there's I don't [00:12:06] know what, well this is an entirely new [00:12:09] program, [00:12:10] you know what's happened to labor, but there's a sheer [00:12:14] elite arrogance um running [00:12:18] through this this party and it's [00:12:22] no longer recognizable and on [00:12:25] the wider stage, [00:12:28] you know, the diplomatic self-harm that this [00:12:32] is doing, um, is untold, the [00:12:35] IRGC is an official branch of [00:12:39] sovereign nation's armed forces and by [00:12:43] branding them a hostile threat, [00:12:46] Westminster hasn't just banned a group, they've [00:12:50] deeply insulted a state, and for what to [00:12:54] play the big. man on the world stage, you [00:12:57] know, teron has already called the move [00:13:00] unlawful, but you bears the the the brunt [00:13:04] of of this retaliation, it won't be the labour [00:13:07] politicians in downing street or the billionaires in [00:13:11] Mayfair, and if this escalates into another [00:13:15] conflict, it's the sons and daughters the British working [00:13:19] classes who will be handed rival and sent to [00:13:22] fight another rich man's war. in the middle east, [00:13:26] so know this is so far away from the [00:13:30] anti-war labor that I joined, it [00:13:34] it's terrible, yeah, absolutely, I mean, Smedley [00:13:37] Buttler wrote a little booklet back in 1935, which was [00:13:41] called the war is racket, and absolutely sums it up, and I think you [00:13:45] kind of very eloquently explained, [00:13:48] you know, why, why so wrong the direction that this government is is [00:13:52] taking us in, but David, I mean, how does legislation [00:13:56] relate to previous attempts to censor political speech [00:13:59] then? well, I just put in mind [00:14:03] when reading the legislation, especially section [00:14:07] 17a and 17 b, which have the form of [00:14:10] language which says that you not allowed to express an opinion which [00:14:13] might support or might be seen as supportive [00:14:17] the organization, it put me in mind of course the broadcasting [00:14:21] ban, the so-called broadcasting ban introduced in october [00:14:25] 1988, which had the objective of making sure that Shin [00:14:29] Fein, legal political party, was no longer interviewed on the [00:14:33] broadcast media, and it was very effective in doing that, as our studies [00:14:37] at [00:14:37] the time showed, the appearances by shin on British [00:14:41] Network News declined by more than half in the year after the band was [00:14:44] introduced, and then of course it fell into some disrepute because the [00:14:48] the emergence the the peace process, but the language in [00:14:52] that uh that notice as it was, then was very very [00:14:56] similar and and [00:14:57] the the appearance the way in which [00:14:59] was it was enacted is very similar because it was also a [00:15:02] designated notice which was introduced by the then home [00:15:06] secretary Douglas Hard uh to say that there there are these organizations and [00:15:10] they are now not no longer were able to be heard on uh [00:15:14] broadcast media so it's very similar to that it's also very similar of course [00:15:18] uh as we sort of mentioned already to the terrorism act which has similar [00:15:22] prevision about supporting or inviting some support for [00:15:26] specific organizations, so it's part the the [00:15:29] generalized position the the British state, which they start off [00:15:33] by saying you're not allowed to support a particular organization and [00:15:37] then..." as is the case with the terrorism act of [00:15:40] 2000, the some 19 years later they had to update [00:15:44] this and add in the stuff about uh views or [00:15:48] opinions which might be seen as supportive, which of course tries [00:15:51] to expand the perview the the power even further because they've [00:15:55] not been able to lock up lots of people and i think that's that's the difficulty for them [00:15:59] that actually this not only is the [00:16:03] IAGC not active in this country, not only is the [00:16:06] HJ not really an existing organization, [00:16:10] but but nobody is going to be supporting them, it's [00:16:13] ridiculous, it's like they think if you say something positive [00:16:17] words about ham and i that that somehow is going [00:16:21] to uh breach the law, but but it's plainly not, and if [00:16:24] you say for example, just set out them briefly that what kind of [00:16:28] statements are going to be made illegal by this legislation, [00:16:32] well so um, it's the [00:16:36] IRGC and this... alleged terrorist organization, now [00:16:40] there is nobody in the country who supports this [00:16:43] terrorist because it doesn't [00:16:45] exist set up effectively [00:16:49] by the mossad, so there's nobody's going [00:16:51] to be supporting that, the support the existence of that organization is of course the [00:16:55] marsad, they're never going to say that publicly, so that that's one [00:16:58] thing, the other thing is is is the IRC, people think [00:17:02] that the IRGC is the Iranian military, but it's not, there [00:17:06] are perhaps 9000 active personnel in the [00:17:10] IRGC uh, whereas in the the Iranian military, the [00:17:13] Iranian army, navy and air force, they are tesh, there are some [00:17:17] 400 thous, so twice the personnel that you've got in the [00:17:21] IRC, so it's not going to be legal to say, I [00:17:24] support the Rtesh or victory to the RT in their [00:17:28] conflict with the US and and the zionists, it will [00:17:32] be will be illegal to say I support the IRGC, but [00:17:35] but the IRGC only a small part the [00:17:39] military forces of Iran and of course there are many other parts of the [00:17:43] Iranian government system which which are not now banned, but of [00:17:47] course people will be skeptical and weary about saying [00:17:51] positive things about the Islamic Republic as result of this, it will give have a sort of [00:17:55] chilling factor, no indeed indeed and [00:17:58] I mean you're a journalist, I mean are [00:18:00] we likely to see the BBC another mainstream journalists falling file of this [00:18:04] legislation, well I think... the [00:18:08] BBC and and lot the mainstream [00:18:11] media have a long distance [00:18:14] relationship with journalism, I [00:18:18] do not recognize um the so-called [00:18:21] journalism of [00:18:24] 2026, you know when I trained as a [00:18:28] journalist back in 1976, 50 years ago [00:18:32] coming up uh next month [00:18:35] and... the what what is [00:18:39] standing for journalism today is [00:18:41] is uh again you know [00:18:45] I just don't recognize it um we seem to be a [00:18:49] downward trajectory and uh [00:18:53] and and journalism is is just part part of it you [00:18:57] know let's be honest um [00:19:00] the this [00:19:03] legislation um is is mean [00:19:08] and the police already have a [00:19:12] whole arsenal of legal weaponry uh [00:19:16] to use to um enforce bans [00:19:20] and prescriptions of of groups that the [00:19:23] government deem dangerous, but [00:19:27] um, as I say, the IRGC, it [00:19:30] isn't even in Britain, it's not [00:19:32] operating, [00:19:36] um, to see BBC - not like [00:19:39] to see BBC [00:19:41] uh um journalists then being being hold off [00:19:44] uh um to be prosecuted by this legislation by the sounds of things [00:19:48] and Nivon, but but David, I mean just remind our [00:19:52] viewers will you how how you discovered that the alleged terror group that [00:19:55] Shabana Mahmoud has just prescribed doesn't really exist, I mean you referred it [00:19:59] earlier by its Arabic initials, i gave [00:20:03] the angle size name of it in the in the introduction, but you found that it doesn't [00:20:07] even... exist, just just remind - we covered this, didn't we on the show a while [00:20:11] ago, but for those that didn't see that, just to remind us about it how you, yeah we did, [00:20:14] mean this is an organization which people sort of think started [00:20:18] when the four ambulances were were put set on fire [00:20:22] in in goldest green north london, but actually the [00:20:25] organization was created um some weeks [00:20:29] before that and uh it launched a number of attacks according to [00:20:33] uh the telegram account which is supposed to be organized by the uh [00:20:37] the the organization, those attacks were in Greece, in [00:20:41] France, in the Netherlands, in [00:20:44] Belgium, and some of those [00:20:46] attacks did happen in the sense that the... [00:20:50] were small incendiary devices left outside a school du [00:20:54] school and uh two synagogues i think - [00:20:58] but they didn't cause much damage not so much as a broken paint of [00:21:02] glass some scorching on the door the the the [00:21:05] down pipe on the outside the school was slightly charred so and [00:21:09] then so some them did happen there were there were events that happened and [00:21:13] others or simply things which were claimed by the [00:21:17] supposed organization which might look like they were attacks, it was an example [00:21:21] of of a car being satellite in the [00:21:25] Jewish district uh of of um one the [00:21:28] Belgian towns and [00:21:32] it it wasn't anything to do with anything, it was it was [00:21:34] a robbery and the car wasn't in the Jewish district, it [00:21:38] was set on fire after [00:21:39] the robbery and it belonged to a Moroccan woman who was of course muslim, so there was [00:21:43] nothing at all to do, but [00:21:44] it was opportunistically claimed by the organization [00:21:48] as part of this effort to to encourage the idea that there was such an [00:21:52] organization, now it's plein from seeing all those events, [00:21:56] and then of course the ineffectual events that happened in in the UK, which [00:22:00] were more significant than the ones on the continent to be fair, this is [00:22:04] this is a non-organization, it's an organisation which which now has the right [00:22:07] under British law to apply through its [00:22:11] lawyers for deprescription, but of course you can't [00:22:14] apply to deprescribe an organization that doesn't exist because [00:22:18] it's and has no member. so it's a completely other worldly situation, it's [00:22:22] perfectly clear that this is a false flag [00:22:26] organization, fake front set up in the manner of many others [00:22:30] that have been set up by the mossad, for example in Lebanon and in many [00:22:34] other cases, so this is a this is crazy [00:22:37] situation, it's really very revealing to see those [00:22:40] words um home office saying that [00:22:44] they they are almost certain that the [00:22:47] IRGC is behind this organization. [00:22:49] Yeah, [00:22:53] no, absolutely, but Ivan, I mean it seems all the pressure unsurprisingly for this [00:22:57] legislation has been from the zionist lobby, which rather reinforces [00:23:01] the concerns, doesn't it about the level of zinist influence over our [00:23:04] legislators? Well, we know that the [00:23:08] zienist influence over our legislation, [00:23:11] you know, even with the arrival of Andy Burnham, [00:23:15] who himself is part the pro [00:23:18] Israel lobby group. friends of Israel, more [00:23:22] than half the cabinets are tainted or [00:23:25] stained um through membership of pro [00:23:29] Israeli lobby groups and [00:23:32] but [00:23:33] you know going back to what David was saying, I'm just thinking the practical [00:23:37] execution of of this new law [00:23:40] creates an almost comedic logistical nightmare [00:23:44] for the uh for the police, I mean under [00:23:48] this 2 26 act, shouting a [00:23:52] pro-irgc slogan [00:23:54] is supposed to [00:23:55] be fast track to jail cell, but what [00:23:59] about your shouting uh, shouting it in [00:24:02] farcy? [00:24:04] you know, who's going to know? [00:24:06] well indeed, yeah, no, absolutely. all things an absolute [00:24:09] fast, absolutely right, of course, we we know that um, [00:24:13] you know, pro palestinian demonstrators have been arrested for wearing headbands with [00:24:17] arabic writing on it, which wasn't, advocating terrorism or [00:24:21] anything, it's just, I mean, they kind of make the rules up as the as they go along. Sorry [00:24:25] to get across you, Evan, but we're but we're really short of time and I just want to get David's [00:24:28] thoughts about for the benefit of anyone who might not be aware, I mean Mossad, [00:24:32] which is Israel's secret intelligence service, has a long history doesn't it of [00:24:36] engaging in black ops and false flag, so just just give us a bit of background on that, [00:24:40] David for the benefit of people who it may be persuaded to believe some of this nonsense which [00:24:44] is being uh promoted in the media, [00:24:48] yeah so look, the closest [00:24:51] parallel to this ai organization [00:24:55] is the fl f, the front for the liberation [00:24:59] of Lebanon from foreigners, which was set up in in [00:25:03] Lebanon by the Mossard, the [00:25:06] the the idea came from the IDF but was set up by the Mossard and carried out number of [00:25:10] car warmings throughout the 1980s and it was [00:25:14] entirely ficticious group and and of course that's one [00:25:18] the the techniques which they... [00:25:20] abuses undercover terror [00:25:23] groups are made to to uh to [00:25:27] pursue provocations in particular areas, but of course let's remember also [00:25:30] all the other false flags, the attacks [00:25:33] that for example has documented in Iraq [00:25:37] where he [00:25:38] was him and his family were forced into [00:25:40] leaving and going to to the colony because the [00:25:44] attacks which the mossad launched in Iraq the same same as they did [00:25:48] in the lavon af. in in [00:25:51] Egypt operatives were hung [00:25:55] by the neck till they were dead for that particular [00:25:58] activity, so there's a long history of this, if you read any any the... books [00:26:02] on the history of Mossard, including by [00:26:05] ex Mossard people, they they all admit this, [00:26:09] no indeed, and and very finally uh, [00:26:12] Ivon, what can people do to change this [00:26:15] legislation a [00:26:16] in sentence? we [00:26:20] have to protest and put pressure, um, I mean, speaking [00:26:24] as a journalist uh, [00:26:27] before, if I had any documents to do with [00:26:30] Al-Qaeda, I would say... 'you know, I'm investigative journalist [00:26:34] and this is part of my research for a book or for an [00:26:38] article I'm writing, but under this 2026 [00:26:42] act, that nuance is tossed out the window, [00:26:46] and if foreign correspondent gets an unredacted [00:26:50] press release or an encrypted leak from an IRGC [00:26:53] commander, they are technically retaining a material [00:26:57] benefit which would be designated as a state threat, [00:27:01] so totally short-sited and and [00:27:05] and the entire Guardian's editorial board [00:27:08] faces being locked up in prison if no indeed if [00:27:12] this legislation continues - well they need [00:27:16] to they need to stand up Evan um as I think you were saying we all [00:27:20] do to resist this legislation this this move towards [00:27:23] authoritarianism you know it's - it might not affect [00:27:27] you people immediately um but ultimately I think we're all going [00:27:31] to be - worse for this, so [00:27:34] it might be um, it might be [00:27:36] us today, [00:27:37] but it could be you if you're watching tomorrow, so you really do need to put [00:27:41] pressure on the government to change [00:27:43] course, but [00:27:46] I'm afraid that's all we got time for today, so I'd like to thank our guest Ivon Riddley and of course [00:27:50] our resident expert David Miller, if you want to support the show, you can follow us [00:27:54] on X, Facebook, Rumble and Telegram where we post regular clips and updates, and [00:27:57] if you want to see us continue standing up for Palestine and exposing the Zionist colony, [00:28:01] please consider... donating to our fighting fund.
