[00:00:01] Today, the old tactics have become more complicated and, of course, [00:00:07] and went to the south. scarier. [00:00:08] We went to They're everywhere [00:00:09] with you. [00:00:13] They even offer you free services to get your attention, but don't be duped. [00:00:37] Wars used to come upon us while we were [00:00:54] buy it. So he told me there were some things at [00:01:04] displace, how far out of [00:01:49] is good, better than [00:02:43] Welcome to Women of including the the plight of Resistance. [00:02:46] Listening to Sujud Sakar Wais, a widow from [00:02:50] Gaza, is heartbreaking, not only because she has lost [00:02:54] her very beloved husband to the genocide and is living [00:02:58] a very difficult life, but also because of how [00:03:01] naively she is calling on and expecting fellow [00:03:04] Arabs, her neighbors, to save her and her people [00:03:08] by coming to their aid and ending the illegal [00:03:12] genocidal war in Palestine. The Arabs [00:03:15] of course are complicit in this [00:03:17] genocide. [00:03:27] to the war. We want the war to end The war on Gaza has changed the DNA of the people. [00:03:39] resignation: [00:03:47] My name is Sujud Saqr Owais. I am 29 years old. [00:03:50] From Gaza, I used to live in the old place [00:03:54] in Al-Shuja'iyya in Al-Tuffah, near [00:03:57] Yarmouk. I was displaced to Al- Raml Street. [00:04:01] On Al-Thawra Street, I am in a tent with my uncle. Everything [00:04:06] that we are living. We are sleeping in is cheap, but there is no money for a person to be able to buy. I mean, let's say the two bags of flour that I got [00:04:10] from the containers here, I live off them, I eat and drink [00:04:13] from them. I don't have enough money to buy vegetables and fruits. [00:04:17] These expenses, I can't afford them. My situation is below [00:04:21] get it. I sleep on zero. When my husband was alive, he had money. Now I have nothing [00:04:25] in my hands. [00:04:27] Due to my children, I go to medical points. I need to get medicine. [00:04:31] When my husband was with me during the war, I was not afraid. I felt safe [00:04:35] because he was next to me, around me. But now I have lost that security, [00:04:38] as I don't have him. This is my destiny, and God sent him to me, and I am content [00:04:42] with it. He sent him to me as my destiny, and I say, thank God, [00:04:46] and what can I say? It's neither the first nor the last. Thank [00:04:49] God. It's true that a woman doesn't have her husband, but [00:04:52] now I have to provide for myself and do everything by myself. My husband [00:04:56] is gone, but thank God. It used to be easy for me [00:05:00] to go and come back for my children and do everything for them. The first day of the war, [00:05:04] when we were living in our house, they told us we had to evacuate the [00:05:07] Al-Shaaf area. We went to schools in Tal Al-Hawa. We lived in [00:05:11] Tal Al-Hawa for perhaps a month. After that month, [00:05:13] Al-Quds Hospital was bombed. We left Al-Quds Hospital [00:05:21] Khan Yunis. We were displaced to Khan Yunis and suffered. [00:05:24] We saw the suffering in Khan Yunis. Then we went to Rafah and saw the suffering [00:05:28] from Rafah to Khan Yunis. We came back to Khan Yunis again, [00:05:31] and when they said the truce began, the truce started, and we returned to [00:05:35] our area, to [00:05:35] our home. [00:05:40] like the war. [00:05:49] Our house was there, and he was living with me, and Ramadan came [00:05:53] upon us. The first Ramadan and the second Ramadan, he was alive, but he [00:05:56] was martyred in the first famine, the second time in the famine, and my husband was martyred in it. [00:06:00] He saw my children dying of hunger and couldn't bring them a kilo of flour, which cost 100 [00:06:03] shekels. He couldn't [00:06:07] home. I told him not to let anything happen to him. He said, "No, I'll go, and nothing will happen to you. [00:06:10] Just trust in God." He went to get flour, rice, [00:06:13] and lentils, and he went and didn't come back. Thank God, [00:06:16] we received a call from the hospital that your husband, [00:06:20] Mahmoud Owais, was martyred. His ID was in his pocket. [00:06:23] They knew his ID. They knew his name, and we received a call that [00:06:26] he was martyred. Day and night, I think about him. I can't [00:06:30] eat, drink, or sleep like normal people. I don't know [00:06:33] him. He was my whole life. Whatever [00:06:36] he told me to do, I would do it, and whatever he asked of me, I would do it for him. [00:06:40] He never deprived me of anything, as if he were my family, my husband, [00:06:44] and everything. It was hunger [00:06:47] that made my husband go to an unsafe area, a [00:06:51] dangerous area, to get food for his children. He saw his children [00:06:54] dying of hunger, unable to sleep because of their cries of hunger. [00:06:57] So he was forced to go to a dangerous area to get [00:07:00] flour. He went for his children, and he went and didn't come back. [00:07:04] That is, for his children. Life was [00:07:07] very difficult when he was here, and it became even harder after [00:07:11] he was martyred. So she said, my life, I lost so many things. [00:07:15] He was my hands and feet. He made everything easy for me. [00:07:17] Now I have to do everything myself. I go out, I bring things, I go, and everything [00:07:21] is on me. I'm tired. His death broke my back, [00:07:24] and it broke [00:07:26] his back. [00:07:30] Palestinians are very much aware that they're being [00:07:33] manipulated, and even the continued killings and the [00:07:36] disturbing images of kids mangled as they play with kites [00:07:40] continue to feed into the deliberate. [00:07:48] Didn't they say that we are in a truce? We are not in a truce. They tell you [00:07:52] that the war is over, but the war is not over. We are still [00:07:56] in a truce, and we are in distress and fear, and we have [00:08:00] no safety. We sleep in the tent and we are afraid. [00:08:03] Last night, there was very, very heavy shelling, [00:08:06] and two hours ago, there was a lot of fear here. And [00:08:10] before the two years of this war we are in, [00:08:14] 2025 and 2024, before these two years, [00:08:17] we also had distress, meaning the distress was that food was expensive, [00:08:21] and the crossings were closed. We were [00:08:24] terrified and scared. They used to assassinate from anywhere, they used to strike from anywhere. [00:08:28] We are in fear and terror. Even now, if we were scared and terrified [00:08:31] two years ago, and after two years, we are still scared and terrified. [00:08:35] All of this is due to the Israeli occupation. God is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs. He is the one [00:08:39] who caused us these wars. All of this is happening to us because of the Israeli [00:08:46] occupation. [00:08:47] there is a [00:08:52] Palestinians hope for material [00:08:54] help that may never come. All [00:08:57] this, as like so many others, the fear of [00:09:00] further violence and hardship looms. [00:09:04] I wish [00:09:09] that this message would reach the Arab countries so that they see us, [00:09:12] so that they solve what we are going through. That they stop the war. [00:09:16] That they find a solution for us. This is not a life [00:09:19] the streets. I mean, whoever sees us and whoever comes and goes sees what we are doing, [00:09:23] how we are sitting, how our lives are. This is not a life [00:09:26] that we are living. My whole house is gone, and even now I say [00:09:30] it's gone, there's no trace of it. I am living with my uncle in a tent, [00:09:33] and I wish to settle in a tent. I mean, they have a tent and I [00:09:36] have a tent so that I can have my privacy and they can have theirs. I can't get [00:09:39] this tent. Is there anyone willing to help me? [00:09:43] We suffered a lot in this war. We suffered a lot, a lot. [00:09:47] There are many people like me who were martyred. I am not the first [00:09:51] nor the last. Before the war, there were widows like this, [00:09:55] and in this war, there are many martyrs like this. And there are [00:09:59] friends of mine who were martyred like this, and their husbands were martyred, and they became like me, [00:10:02] widows. That's why I mean, I'm just expecting it. [00:10:06] It's normal. I mean, for me, I'm not afraid, but I am [00:10:09] afraid of losing something else. One of [00:10:13] my children. That's all I'm afraid [00:10:15] of. [00:10:19] Sujud now isn't for those who are fully formed, but [00:10:23] for the young, for those [00:10:34] My children have changed a lot with me. Since their father [00:10:36] was martyred, they have changed a lot with me. They no longer [00:10:39] fear, and this generation is, as they say, [00:10:43] ruined. Yes, I mean, you shout [00:10:47] at them, and they don't respond, and their life... [00:10:49] They yell at me and don't answer me, and don't say, "I am your mother." They are completely [00:10:53] ruined. They will never forget the war, because [00:10:57] this is a harsh war, a war that has come upon us like this for the first time. [00:11:02] at home, but they didn't make us like this, and we were displaced from south [00:11:05] to place, from place to place. We were displaced [00:11:08] about 20 times. [00:11:11] occupation. [00:11:15] and this new assault by the Israelis deliberately seeks to rob [00:11:19] Palestinians of their dignity, designed to [00:11:22] clean extra satisfactions, seeing how [00:11:25] far they can stare those they seek to [00:11:29] their humanity can Palestinians be pushed before [00:11:32] their [00:11:40] vanish. We were displaced and lived in tents, [00:11:44] and the tents fell on us, and we were covered in clothes, and we were humiliated, [00:11:46] and our value decreased, and we were humiliated a lot, a lot in this war. [00:11:50] We have been for a year, look, before [00:11:53] two years ago, when there was the 2021 war and [00:11:57] 2014, nothing like this happened to us. This is a very [00:12:01] harsh war, very, very harsh. [00:12:03] I wish the Arab countries would see us and find a solution for us. This is not the life [00:12:07] we are living. And it has become even harder for us, and this tent [00:12:11] life is not good. They say the tent [00:12:14] the Qatari tents. [00:12:17] On the contrary, the Qatari tents and the tarpaulins are all useless. There is nothing [00:12:21] for a person except their home, no matter what, it's not broken. There's no [00:12:35] If the house was, for example, just enough to put things, even if it was broken, and lived in, it would be better than these tents and better than sleeping [00:12:38] in the street. In the street, no one can hear your voice when you yell at your daughter or son. [00:12:42] Everyone passing by hears you. We want this [00:12:45] war to end. This is the most important thing: a ceasefire [00:12:48] and to return to our place. It doesn't matter if our house [00:12:51] is gone. We are not the first people, nor the last. Everyone [00:13:11] they should not have to be more human than the rest of us to deserve life, a [00:13:15] future. Every day they exist is a direct shot to [00:13:18] the bow for those who want them erased. But this has come [00:13:22] at a cost, one the Palestinians continue to pay in [00:13:25] blood and bodies. The world must set this great [00:13:28] injustice right before all we have left are [00:13:32] beautiful stories of resilience, courage, resistance, but [00:13:36] of people irredeemably [00:13:37] changed. [00:13:43] The war, ending the war. They shouldn't deceive us and say truce. This truce story [00:13:46] is over. We no longer feel safe that it will be followed by an end [00:13:52] completely and be over. I pray that the Arab countries [00:13:55] find a solution for this life we are living. This is not [00:13:59] a life. I wish I could find a suitable place [00:14:02] for my children, find a good life for my children. I wish [00:14:06] they would find me a future, so I can see my children's future, how their education is. My daughter [00:14:09] was in first grade, she is [00:14:13] in fourth grade. Four years are gone for her, three years are gone for her because of this war. [00:14:17] She doesn't know anything, neither how to read nor anything. [00:14:21] And my other daughter was in kindergarten, and kindergarten is gone for her. She's in first grade, and she's in [00:14:25] second. And my son is the same. Kindergarten is gone for him, and he's in [00:14:27] first grade. I mean, this life is [00:14:31] not working. I swear, I hope [00:14:34] the war ends and we return to our area, and education [00:14:37] returns, we teach our children, and we live a good life. [00:14:40] And may God bless me with a tent so I can settle alone. I even wish for a mattress, but I can't [00:14:46] this mat with my children. I put my pillows and my children next [00:14:50] to each other. God blessed me with three blankets. I cover myself and [00:14:53] my children with them. I even don't have money at my uncle's house, but I work with them. [00:14:57] What is the value of the shekel in my hand? I don't have a shekel [00:15:00] in my hand. I swear, I don't have anything, not even money [00:15:04] in my hand. I hope that this interview [00:15:07] you are doing with me will be published so that the Arab countries [00:15:11] see us, see us, see a solution for this life [00:15:14] we are living, because we are living and we are afraid, living [00:15:18] and we are terrified. I mean, this is not the life [00:15:21] we are living. They should stop the firing, the war. We swear [00:15:37] at Peace Strike Campaign. Welcome Maria, thank you so much for joining [00:15:41] me. Thank you. Maria, you know, like I [00:15:44] mentioned, Sujud is expecting Arabs [00:15:47] constantly, you know, in her interview, she's calling out to them, [00:15:51] "Come and see our lives, come and save us." Of course, these Arabs [00:15:55] are not going to do anything. They are complicit, aren't they? [00:15:58] Yeah, I'm afraid they are. Um, yeah, I can see from her point of [00:16:01] view how, because she's not in the necessarily in the bigger [00:16:05] global political viewpoint. We all have watching the TV, seeing the [00:16:09] news, she's stuck there in that situation, helpless, having [00:16:13] lost her husband. Uh, she's bereaved. I mean, she's going to be [00:16:16] suffering, and the children, and all the horror that she's seeing every [00:16:20] day. Um, yeah, so you naturally would think they would come to her help, [00:16:23] but I mean, realistically, that's not going to happen. And I mean, [00:16:27] this is very difficult for people generally to understand, other than of [00:16:31] course, knowing that the leaders of the [00:16:34] world everywhere, you know, they are like this one [00:16:37] unit, all these oligarchs wherever they are against the [00:16:41] people. But many people just don't [00:16:44] get it as to why the Arabs are really not doing anything. I [00:16:47] mean, we've got Iran which is at the cost to itself really [00:16:51] fighting for the cause of the Palestinians. Why are all [00:16:54] these Arab countries, if they wanted, they could easily liberate [00:16:58] Palestine? They could, but I think they've put themselves in a [00:17:01] situation where the whole of their economy is based on rich people coming [00:17:05] and living there in their countries. So, once you've got that situation, [00:17:09] that even though they have defense, but they're not a military country, so [00:17:13] really they just want to keep the status quo for themselves. Whatever is [00:17:16] going on around them, they're not going to step in and intervene. They don't want [00:17:20] to get involved themselves because then they will have a conflict [00:17:23] themselves. Um, so to avoid that, they're just staying neutral, in [00:17:27] effect. Um, because they just don't want to rock [00:17:31] the the the boat. They don't want to um lose their [00:17:34] their status as a sort of rich person [00:17:38] playground. Yeah, absolutely. And it is also, you know, quite [00:17:41] frustrating because you see them when uh Trump had [00:17:45] this peace ward to try and bring a sort of ceasefire, [00:17:49] they all rushed there, you know, to sign this peace [00:17:52] treaty. But Sujud says clearly that she doesn't [00:17:55] want a ceasefire. They've been deceiving them time and again. There is no [00:17:59] ceasefire. People are getting killed every day. You know, it seems to [00:18:03] me that the only country really is Iran that's trying to [00:18:07] bring... real long-term end to the war, isn't it? Yes, yes, [00:18:10] and they're suffering because of that, because obviously, in the memory of [00:18:14] understanding, they're [00:18:17] the Palestine people and Lebanon to stop the conflict [00:18:20] there. And because of that [00:18:22] is, I mean, Iran could have had an easier way [00:18:26] out, an option, but they're standing firmly [00:18:30] because of the injustice that's happening. They can't just turn their backs on [00:18:34] them now, through through this time where they need them, where they need support. I mean, [00:18:37] who's supporting them? There's yeah, there's a kind of an [00:18:41] outcry globally for the concerns of what's happening, but nothing [00:18:45] that's actually uh preventing anything from happening in real terms. [00:18:48] So, in Sujud's case, um, [00:18:51] there is no help, is there? She's just in [00:18:55] the tent in the rubble. Yeah, absolutely. That's the [00:18:58] reality. How how do we explain you, specifically when we talk of Iran here [00:19:02] in the West, Britain included, you know, these very negative [00:19:05] images of Iran? But how do you explain that from the [00:19:09] entire globe, really, nobody is genuinely doing anything [00:19:13] other than Iran? I mean, what is their motivation? [00:19:16] Why are they at the cost, as you say, to themselves, [00:19:20] fighting for the people of Lebanon, Palestine? [00:19:23] I mean, generally against imperialism? [00:19:26] I think it's the same cause. I mean, Iran was [00:19:29] threatened pre the Iraqi war, wasn't it, [00:19:32] by um, what's his name? Bush, George Bush, saying that [00:19:36] they were... even though we're going to deal with Iraq and Afghanistan, which the [00:19:40] problem has come from, or they were saying that at the time, but the real the [00:19:44] real problem is coming from Iran. So they were always on the [00:19:47] the target list, because because they they they can't just stand by and [00:19:51] watch people, uh, well, I don't see how any of us can stand by and [00:19:55] watch what's happening now in Gaza, and [00:19:58] a genocide, a holocaust in real time, on our [00:20:01] TV, and we're we're witnesses ourselves, because we can't [00:20:05] if it's if it's not true what's happened, and we say what everything we've seen [00:20:09] on the TV is false, it's not true, then we can say, [00:20:12] "Well, okay, we're not witnesses." If it's true, which [00:20:16] is proven to be true, we are actually witnesses ourselves. We are now complicit [00:20:19] ourselves because we've seen it, and as a nation, [00:20:23] and internationally have allowed it to happen, absolutely. But Iran has [00:20:27] stood firm and stood out, and that's sort of their crime, [00:20:31] and obviously, I mean, Netanyahu says [00:20:33] that he's always accusing Iran of saying they [00:20:37] want to wipe them off the map, but actually [00:20:40] Benjamin Netanyahu has said that himself about [00:20:44] Iran. He says, "We are going to wipe Iran off the map." And so [00:20:47] no matter what Iran does now, they're still not [00:20:51] going to, um, sort of back away from that, because [00:20:54] um, I think it's cost America something like, well, they're saying between [00:20:58] 300 um 33 billion or [00:21:01] something to 100 billion. Yes, but the memorandum [00:21:05] of understanding says that under that agreement, they should be [00:21:09] paying Iran 300 billion. So the math doesn't work [00:21:12] out. So there's no way that they're going to find that money to give it back to [00:21:16] them, especially as they're thinking that they're their intention [00:21:20] is to create the bomb, which they don't have that intention. And of [00:21:24] course then, we destroyed America. Trump destroyed the [00:21:27] um, was it the GCPOA? Yeah, so [00:21:30] which was monitoring it, it was guaranteed, of [00:21:33] course. And the important thing is to remember also [00:21:37] that Iran has never really attacked any country before, not its [00:21:40] neighbors, any other country, but it is Iran that is suffering from [00:21:44] the illegal war. Let's just remind our viewers that you're watching Women [00:21:48] of Resistance, where we highlight the plight of women who have been [00:21:51] subjected to the Zionist state's brutal oppression in [00:21:55] Gaza, in Lebanon, and further afield. [00:21:59] Maria, talking of the same reason why Iran is doing something, nobody else [00:22:02] is doing anything. You work as a peace [00:22:06] campaigner, you know, what have been the initiatives here in the [00:22:09] UK and generally in the West? What kind of things [00:22:13] do you do? And you know, do you see any change because of [00:22:17] that? I think there is a public awareness, but there's [00:22:20] equally as much as like the big [00:22:23] campaigns, big marches, and they've been on TV and they're trying to ban them, and they're trying [00:22:27] to say the marches are hate. And [00:22:30] also, now I believe they're trying to stop repeat protests. [00:22:34] So, okay, so we'll see what happens there. But, um, [00:22:37] so, uh, is equally a huge part of the [00:22:40] population that's not following it, that's switched off completely, [00:22:43] that's trying to just survive themselves, pay their rent, and everything [00:22:47] like that. So, a lot of people have turned away, not because they haven't got a heart, [00:22:50] but they just can't cope. Some people can't mentally cope with trying to [00:22:54] keep up with, you know, all these incidents that's happening, the Nepal, the [00:22:58] flooding, the the um, the [00:23:01] earthquakes have been happening in Venezuela and all these parts of the [00:23:04] world. But the constant sort [00:23:06] of um horror of what's being shown in [00:23:10] Gaza, so many people, I can talk to now, and they don't [00:23:13] know what's going on, because, you know, they they've sort of switched off their [00:23:17] in their own lives. So, but the actual [00:23:21] peace movement, I don't think we've been effective. We we we're we're all [00:23:24] preaching to ourselves, and we all know the story, but [00:23:28] how do we need to sort of put it [00:23:31] embody into one source to say to make a stand [00:23:34] properly, unite all the groups. Is is this some sort of [00:23:38] a mental colonization, Maria? And also, you know, like if you [00:23:42] look at the Iranian, I was there for the funeral of Seyyed Khamenei, and you [00:23:45] could see that they are politically so astute, like even, you know, [00:23:49] young people, older people, they are very aware of [00:23:53] what's happening globally, maybe because of the years of, you [00:23:56] know, sanction. But for us here, it's almost like like you, but [00:24:00] for us here, it's almost like like you say, people are just worried about [00:24:04] day to day, yes, paying the bills. Are we is this [00:24:08] mental colonization? Well, yeah, I think it is. They're making us fearful, and [00:24:11] people, you know, students, what is there going to be a job for them? People are leaving [00:24:15] university, no job. Nurse qualified nurses. Now we need nurses, [00:24:19] and there's no job. Uh, so people, youngsters [00:24:23] are very, very confused at the moment. They're almost in a sort of [00:24:26] survival mode themselves. Yeah, and they're looking for a [00:24:29] future. And then obviously, the adults that are leading the world at the [00:24:33] moment, aren't aren't answering these problems. We've [00:24:36] got the number one is the climate emergency. You know, what we're going to be [00:24:40] facing next year. Uh, we're destroying the planet with all [00:24:43] these uh weapons, with all the pollution and the toxicity. But at the [00:24:47] same time, this is all to do with our leaderships and, well, there is no [00:24:50] leadership, there's no leadership. As you say, it's it's a global world now, and [00:24:54] it's one big giant corporation. It's all linked together, and the whole [00:24:58] source of it is just to keep making money and and [00:25:01] buying land and monopolizing. And uh [00:25:04] we we'll all get left behind at some point unless we make a change [00:25:08] now. Talking of change, you know, there is this strike coming [00:25:12] up, I believe, you know, that you are part of organizing on the 9th [00:25:16] of October. It's a big strike for Palestine. Tell me a little bit about that. [00:25:19] Well... strikes I'll be talking about, they're all a Friday. This one is uh the [00:25:23] 9th of October, and uh so we're [00:25:26] asking for people, and unless you're an emergency worker or an essential [00:25:30] worker, and we all know who's an essential worker, so we trust them to do what they [00:25:33] have to do. But the rest of us, uh, if if we [00:25:37] can, we either don't go to work, um, don't [00:25:40] send your children to school or college or university. And that's really important because the [00:25:44] youngsters have to be empowered now. You know, this is [00:25:48] not um, we're not sort of advocating, it's totally [00:25:52] peaceful, but they have to be empowered because it's their [00:25:55] future now. And then if you can't do any of those, then just don't buy anything on [00:25:59] that Friday. Finally, Maria, do... do [00:26:02] you have hope that even though here in the West we are not really making [00:26:06] strides enough to awaken people to change [00:26:09] things, but for example, with the war that is going on in the [00:26:13] West Asian region, with the way Iran has been able to [00:26:16] withstand and actually won this war? I [00:26:19] think what we what they failed to realize is [00:26:23] that Gaza, the people of Palestine, the people of Lebanon, and the people [00:26:27] of Iran, they're not going to give up. Come what [00:26:30] may, they will not give up the land. So you [00:26:34] know, it's it, you know, these are futile wars. You [00:26:37] know, these are not sort of, um, you [00:26:41] know, these people have the mindset they've endured, and sometimes they've [00:26:44] done these operations without any anesthetic. I mean, you can [00:26:47] never come to terms with that. Israel will never [00:26:51] win. It's and and actually, the actions that it's [00:26:54] doing, it will backfire on Israel, and Israel will [00:26:57] suffer years, decades of the consequences of what they've done in Gaza. [00:27:01] Absolutely. And we hope they suffer enough to be wiped off [00:27:04] really, because, you know, we don't need a Zionist entity like [00:27:08] that, oppressing people all around the world. Thank you so much, Maria. It [00:27:11] was a pleasure having you. [00:27:39] a former Iranian football star, a prominent [00:27:42] opposition figure, and a public accusation that [00:27:46] exposed a deeper [00:27:47] divide. [00:27:55] As Reza Pahlavi seeks to position himself as a leader of [00:27:59] Iran's political future, one question is becoming harder to [00:28:02] ignore: how much of his influence is real [00:28:06] political power, and how much is social media visibility? [00:28:26] In today's show, we'll be revisiting the genocide in South Lebanon, [00:28:30] which is continuing to see killings, displacement, and the [00:28:33] destruction of homes unfolding every day, despite a [00:28:36] supposed ceasefire. Well, the scale of [00:28:39] destruction in South Lebanon [00:28:42] is almost unimaginable for most of [00:28:46] us. This is an area that [00:28:49] is 10, 20 times the size of Gaza [00:28:53] that is occupied by the Israelis, and they have [00:28:56] been conducting [00:28:59] total ethnic cleansing campaign. "You don't make [00:29:03] an agreement with the Zionist entity and expect that they will keep to it, [00:29:06] they violate every cease fire, every treaty, every [00:29:10] agreement, usually before it's even come into effect, and of course that [00:29:14] was the same uh in Lebanon from June onwards. [00:29:42] The headlines, Iran says.
