[00:10:59] demonstrators to burn tires and block major roads.

[00:11:10] international highway. The regime has blamed higher global energy

[00:11:37] is the geographical spread these protests from at Lib
[00:11:40] and Alepo to hama de Razor and Braka, and what does it tell us
[00:11:44] about the depth of Syria's economic
[00:11:47] crisis?
[00:11:50] Unfortunately for Syria has been one economic crisis after
[00:11:53] another and Gilani's price hikes of 40%
[00:11:57] and 28% do not reflect that there is global
[00:12:01] turmoil so but he has exacerbated this far worse by putting these
[00:12:05] prices up you have the bonitas refinery it's going to be offline for about
[00:12:08] three months you have of course the conflict with
[00:12:12] Iran and the conflict with yemen closing off and dab which
[00:12:16] affects oil pr which affects oil prices and you have
[00:12:20] Ukraine striking Russian oil refineries which is reduced
[00:12:23] exports from Russia. which is a good chunk of serious oil
[00:12:27] imports, however, all of that combined does not account
[00:12:31] for a 40% increase in diesel, that is something the government
[00:12:35] decided to do its own, it's extortion
[00:12:39] camouflaged as reacting to global politics when it is
[00:12:42] far that gap is far exceeding the price
[00:12:46] increase in diesel from other factors.
[00:12:50] right, exactly, that's that brings me to my next question, the Syrian
[00:12:53] government attributes... the fuel price increase to higher global
[00:12:57] energy costs and the overhaul at the banias
[00:13:00] refinery. to what extent do you see them as um genuine
[00:13:04] economic pressures and how much the public reaction is about
[00:13:08] broader dissatisfaction with the governments economic
[00:13:11] policies? well, with Banias
[00:13:15] offline, Syria can only produce about a third of
[00:13:18] its oil consumable factors are contributing to the oil
[00:13:22] price hikes and diesel fuel hikes. but 40% and
[00:13:26] 28% greatly exceed that, it it doesn't cost that much to
[00:13:30] get diesel, this is the government using the
[00:13:33] pretext of a global event for extortion the
[00:13:37] public, and these protests come
[00:13:41] after the lifting of us sanctions when many
[00:13:44] Syrians were expecting um life situations and
[00:13:48] living conditions to improve um, could the fuel price hikes
[00:13:52] undermine public confidence in the promise? economic
[00:13:55] recovery, of course, fuel is tied to
[00:13:59] everything else, anything that use is transportation, delivering food,
[00:14:03] delivering clothing, retail, it all comes through, even
[00:14:07] the mail, everything's going to cost more when you raise the price of diesel and
[00:14:10] gasoline, their standard of living is going to bottom out, they can't
[00:14:14] sustain this for three months and i honestly don't think that is going
[00:14:18] to come back online, the maintenance of three months, this is what the government
[00:14:21] says, see how long it really takes is devastating for
[00:14:26] Yeah, and the other thing is, how quickly can sanctions relief
[00:14:29] translate into tangible improvements in people's daily
[00:14:33] lives, um, particularly when Syria continues to face
[00:14:37] damaged infrastructure, limited energy capacity and
[00:14:41] severe economic
[00:14:41] constraints.
[00:14:45] Lifting sanctions should have had more of an impact than it did, the problem is in
[00:14:49] Syria, most the government positions were handed out based on
[00:14:52] nepotism, there's a lot of incom. and there's a lot of scaming off the
[00:14:56] top,
[00:14:57] it is a outgrowth of ISIS, that's what
[00:15:00] HTS is, these aren't the most honest administers of government,
[00:15:04] and they're squandering the money, they're pocketing the money, sometimes they're
[00:15:08] fighting with each other, a piece of syrial
[00:15:11] of Syria has been annexed by the Israelis, so they're losing
[00:15:14] territory, and their government is just filled with waste and
[00:15:18] nepotism, so lifting the sanctions doesn't matter when your
[00:15:22] government has that level of corruption because the... steal whatever money comes
[00:15:26] in anyway and the other question is could these protests
[00:15:29] remain um primarily economic or do they have
[00:15:33] the potential you think do they have the potential to develop into?
[00:15:37] broader political challenge for the Syrian government, particularly if
[00:15:41] fuel prices continue to
[00:15:43] rise. the problem is, it's
[00:15:47] basically dictatorship. um, it's going to
[00:15:50] be violence is what it's going to happen, the process right
[00:15:53] now or there has been a little bit of violence, but this is going to get out of
[00:15:57] control. they plan on sustaining this for three months
[00:16:00] a 40% hike on diesel, it's not that people just don't want to pay
[00:16:04] more, it's that they can't pay anymore.
[00:16:07] and so when you get to that point uh, you're going to see
[00:16:11] violence in Syria again. Right, indeed,

[00:16:23] Ministry warns that Gaza's healthcare system is facing an imminent threat

[00:20:44] predicated upon having a certain number of people in Congress or a certain number of

[00:20:55] interesting, the democrats who make criticize me are
[00:20:59] not going to say, or they're not going to deny that the president has
[00:21:03] committed impeachable offenses, so if you won't deny that he's
[00:21:06] committing impeachable offenses, then you should honor your oath of office and
[00:21:10] vote to impeach. Others have called for Trump's impeachment over
[00:21:14] his genocidal threat to wipe out the whole Iranian

[00:26:36] aircraft designed to penetrate hostile airspace from completing its
[00:26:40] mission. And now, for the United States, the issue is no
[00:26:44] longer simply the loss of an MQ9 or the retreat of an
[00:26:48] F35. The bigger question is, how could a network whose
[00:26:51] radars and key components had been attacked only hours earlier
[00:26:55] remain operational and still force one of America's most
[00:26:59] advanced aircraft to abandon its mission and Incident
[00:27:03] that now forces the United States to rethink not just a flight
[00:27:06] path, but its entire calculation over Iran's
[00:27:09] skies. The
[00:27:13] equation in Iran's skies is no longer the
[00:27:16] same.

[00:29:36] text, Apple was accused of creating a monopoly
[00:29:40] in the technology market and acting against businesses.

[00:29:49] Facebook CEO, Mark
[00:29:51] Zuckerberg. It seemed the fight
[00:29:55] between Facebook and Apple had become public,
[00:29:59] a fight which had started with
