[00:03:30] of [00:03:46] Hello again, we have rolling coverage here regarding the news that we just broke [00:03:50] out and that was um the Iranian armed forces khatming the US [00:03:54] and rigal countries that the US and original countries that any [00:03:58] mistake could make them target. the country's painful attacks to [00:04:02] discuss the issue furthermore we have Mr. Ali ham military and [00:04:05] strategic affairs analyst joining us from south Lebanon and [00:04:09] also my colleague from Press TV's newsroom here in our teron [00:04:12] studios Zainab Virani welcome to you both on this important rolling [00:04:16] coverage on this breaking [00:04:18] of news. Mr. Ali ham um from the statement [00:04:20] of the Katam Alambia Central Command um what is Tehran [00:04:24] of actually communicating [00:04:26] of here do you see this primarily as deterrant warning um [00:04:30] signal that Iran expects renewed hostilities or an [00:04:33] indication that its military [00:04:35] of posture is changing? good afternoon, [00:04:39] greetings all the [00:04:41] of viewers, all the viewers, we see [00:04:44] that the United State is trying to go [00:04:48] back step back in order [00:04:52] to to have decent exit from the war, but before [00:04:56] of doing so it might ignate uh... [00:05:00] syrian war in in the region through [00:05:04] what's going on between Saudi Arabia against and its attack and [00:05:08] aggression against yemen and we see it's [00:05:11] totally ' obvious right now [00:05:14] that the sedition the [00:05:18] region is in the hand of Saudi Arabia, first [00:05:21] start by the uh three countries [00:05:25] coalition, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey and then [00:05:29] after this defense, join defense [00:05:32] agreement uh in Mecca, they [00:05:36] start war against Yemen directly in order to [00:05:39] continue their uh the... a [00:05:42] conspiracy, the American one and the Israelis one against [00:05:46] the region, they start with the creative start [00:05:50] with the creative chaos, then the Arab [00:05:54] great middle east, then the new middle east which [00:05:57] goes to the goal of 2030 [00:06:01] vision, and Saudi Arabia and United [00:06:05] Arab Emirates are helping the American and the [00:06:08] Israelis to go and fulfill their mission. in the [00:06:12] region, the only obstacle and I believe [00:06:16] Iran perform as the [00:06:20] deep geographic [00:06:22] strategy for the [00:06:25] Pakistan and for also Turkey and in [00:06:29] case Iran uh may God forbid [00:06:33] collapse directly Turkey [00:06:37] and Pakistan will collapse at the same time and [00:06:41] let's say ' that in this moment we can [00:06:45] tell that the problem is the Saudi Arabia is [00:06:48] trying to take off the American [00:06:52] shoulder uh the burden [00:06:56] and tried to do it itself in order [00:06:59] to convert the picture [00:07:02] flip flip it in in instead [00:07:06] of helping and supporting [00:07:09] the American it will be regional war [00:07:13] and supported by United States, I think we are going in to [00:07:17] to very critical situation, and [00:07:21] Saudi Arabia is the ignator of such [00:07:25] sedition in the region. Right, and Zainab, Iran is saying [00:07:29] that [00:07:29] it it will not hesitate and to respond and that those [00:07:33] facilitating attacks should not expect any restraint [00:07:36] either. Given the history of this conflict, what specific military [00:07:40] capabilities or operational choice? says would make this warning [00:07:44] materially different from previous Iranian threats. [00:07:48] well, what we saw during the days the active war [00:07:51] uh was that Iran was actually exercising restraint when it came to [00:07:55] retaliating against these persian gulf countries um the [00:07:59] Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, these countries which were act acting as [00:08:02] launch pads for the US military aggression against Iran, [00:08:06] their um civilian and their um civilian [00:08:09] infrastructure, but was only targeting the... us spaces that [00:08:13] were located inside these countries, but I mean if [00:08:17] these countries after everything that has transpired in the past seven [00:08:21] months, we are well aware now that there was this meeting [00:08:25] hosted in Germany and the US and [00:08:28] Israel and envoys from several these Persian gulf [00:08:32] countries, Saudi, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, [00:08:35] Qatar, Egypt, they were all present there [00:08:38] with the sendcom commander Brad Cooper there as well. [00:08:42] and several these countries actually gave a green light to the US once again [00:08:46] to use their territory to launch attacks on Iran. I [00:08:50] mean, Iran has the right now to target their [00:08:54] infrastructure, these countries own infrastructure as well, and [00:08:57] of course all these countries have plenty of infrastructure that can be targeted, there's [00:09:00] economic targets, financial targets, there is you know oil [00:09:04] infrastructure in these countries, we've seen the kind of damage hitting oil [00:09:08] infrastructure can do economies like what we're seeing with [00:09:11] Saudi Arabia. right now and Ansarullah's retaliatory strikes [00:09:15] against the kingdom's oil infrastructure, they have [00:09:18] completely, I mean there oil output has completely stopped, they've [00:09:22] given a warning to European countries that they will not be able to [00:09:26] meet their supply for the upcoming [00:09:29] months because the retaliatory strikes from ansarullah, [00:09:33] so these countries are also heavily oil dependent in the region, we just saw [00:09:37] in the 40 days the war when Iran hit [00:09:40] Qatar's LNG field. the rastl of on [00:09:44] refinery 17% of its output was knocked out and it's [00:09:48] going to take i think a couple of years for it to get back to its full 100% [00:09:52] capacity and there's plenty the targets that can be hit and [00:09:55] what eran is now signaling that if you once [00:09:58] again give you access to the US [00:10:02] military to use your territory as launch pads then that [00:10:06] restraint which was shown in the 40 days the war will not be [00:10:10] shown this time and all these targets inside these [00:10:13] countries, whether finance financial targets, the [00:10:17] major banks, other infrastructure that [00:10:21] these countries have, all infrastructure, this will be head and it will of course [00:10:25] cause major economic damage to these [00:10:29] countries by itself. Right, Mr. Hami, [00:10:32] Iran's warning specifically and raises the prospect [00:10:36] of US interest and also and bases in the region being [00:10:40] exposed to retaliation. How might Persian golf states balance [00:10:43] their security relationship with Washington against the risk of [00:10:47] becoming directly involved a wider [00:10:49] conflict? Let me describe the [00:10:53] military American military. situation in the region we can [00:10:56] tell that as we received and [00:11:00] saw on CNN that more than 17 [00:11:04] American military bases either damaged or [00:11:08] destroyed or demolished, flattened [00:11:11] and so many equipment been destroyed, [00:11:15] it obligates united states to [00:11:19] regroup its troops in the [00:11:23] sea or in ' Jordan [00:11:26] and I think they are, they [00:11:29] discover, they exposed the [00:11:33] gulf countries, GCC, to be [00:11:37] under the mercy, as they said, under the mercy [00:11:40] the victor victorious [00:11:44] situation for Iran and and [00:11:47] now in Yemen, what happened that [00:11:51] Yemen is, it was out the... [00:11:55] war picture and frame, it was the [00:11:59] straight of hormos and the war against Iran [00:12:02] supported the American still [00:12:06] support supported by the GCC [00:12:09] countries by money, we don't forget [00:12:12] 5,200 billion [00:12:16] dollar or five trillion, 5.2 trillion [00:12:19] dollars been paid to United States in order [00:12:22] to to be the biggest. the [00:12:26] dominator the region, so if after the [00:12:29] description for [00:12:31] such [00:12:34] situation, we can see that if we compare what [00:12:38] happened first in Syria, first [00:12:41] Qatar was in up front [00:12:45] in the front row, then Qatar could not [00:12:48] continue, Saudi Arabia stepped in, [00:12:52] also in Yemen, first United Arab Emirates was [00:12:56] first was first and then [00:12:59] Saudi Arabia stepped in, so I think it's [00:13:03] a complete [00:13:06] role being every country is taking [00:13:09] its its role at its time, [00:13:13] that's why the Iranian are telling the countries in the [00:13:17] region that in case you [00:13:21] want to participate up to now we can see your... [00:13:25] support by uh giving the [00:13:28] bases to the American by letting them [00:13:31] using your airspace and also to fire [00:13:35] missiles like like atcomes or hammers or prison [00:13:39] from your country by [00:13:42] firing also tomahar cruise [00:13:45] missile from your sea [00:13:49] border so now [00:13:52] we are telling everybody as I understand from the [00:13:56] Iranian that if you move little bit further [00:14:00] than this, up to now we are uh [00:14:03] attacking and retaliating against the American bases in [00:14:07] your country, but if you move from supporting to [00:14:11] participating in such war, it will be directly against [00:14:15] you. It's a warning, it's a warning, and I believe [00:14:19] what's going on, Saudi Arabia is trying to [00:14:22] turn the war and drag it. [00:14:26] from america [00:14:30] against Iran to countries [00:14:34] inside the region and this will make united state [00:14:37] relaxed, this will make Israel [00:14:41] very relaxed and this will make the whole [00:14:45] area in very critical, dangerous [00:14:47] situation. um, ali, regarding the [00:14:51] regional dynamics here, earlier we had reports of a meeting. [00:14:55] involving the US, Israeli and Arab military [00:14:59] chiefs in Germany, how should we interpret the regional [00:15:03] coordination in light of Iran's uh warning, what does it tell us [00:15:06] about shared security concerns and what does it not tell [00:15:10] us about whether regional governments would support new [00:15:13] US offensive? that's what I'm trying [00:15:17] to say to taken the war to [00:15:21] somewhere else. okay, united state is usually used. [00:15:25] plan a, plan b, plan c, the plan a was to [00:15:28] go from you, [00:15:32] creative chaos to up to the new middle [00:15:35] east, and they... could not finish [00:15:39] it, so they moved to another step, they froze it, they [00:15:42] move to uh to another step by [00:15:46] attacking Iran directly, they did not win and they are losing, [00:15:50] say they will go back to the plan A in [00:15:53] order to ignate the ISIS and [00:15:57] Al-Qaeda and all kind [00:16:00] of uh sectarians that been supported [00:16:04] and created by United States and financed by Saudi Arabia [00:16:08] and United Arab Emirates to take its role again [00:16:12] in Yamen or to step [00:16:15] in from Damascus against Lebanon or [00:16:19] to agitated in in [00:16:22] Iraq and maybe maybe they will [00:16:26] pick up the weak of Kuwait to go [00:16:30] Kuwait to go against Iran and that's what's [00:16:34] what's happening from time to time we can see the... [00:16:37] what so called the kingdom of Bahrain, which is the less [00:16:41] in size than Kasham Island [00:16:44] in island in straight of [00:16:48] hormos and they are trying to make a trouble through [00:16:52] Saudi Arabia is trying to do against semen and we [00:16:55] will see that this meeting in Germany [00:16:59] taken us to regional [00:17:03] war, it will be ignited by Saudi Arabia. [00:17:07] and that's why they went first [00:17:10] to uh to [00:17:13] uh you know try countries [00:17:17] agreement in Mecca just to separate [00:17:20] Pakistan and and Turkey from Iran and to [00:17:24] attack directly Iraq and Yemen so Iran cannot go [00:17:28] into participation with those two neighboring country in order to [00:17:32] go for new era in the region so this will help [00:17:36] only ' Israel, this is for the benefit of Israel and united [00:17:40] state, because maybe, maybe they they don't [00:17:43] want to continue such war against Iran, [00:17:47] because I think they get to certain point, they cannot continue, [00:17:51] so maybe Saudi Arabia will continue the war uh, on their [00:17:54] behalf, on their behalf, right, I [00:17:58] wanted to know your opinion regarding the same question, of course new [00:18:02] developments, draw from what is happening between the [00:18:06] yemeny armed forces and at the moment, how do you [00:18:09] think Saudi Arabia is positioning itself at the moment in the [00:18:13] region? well, as we can see the Saudi Arabia has [00:18:17] you know landed itself a very weak [00:18:20] position up until around two months back, there was [00:18:24] no escalation, there was no aggression in that part the [00:18:28] region and Saudi Arabia was being able to continue with its [00:18:32] oil exports from the Red Sea and the Babel Mandib, without any worries, [00:18:36] of course, they were... "they had faced issues [00:18:40] with the straight of formos, their port on this side, but they had an [00:18:43] alternative route through the east-west pipeline, they could still continue [00:18:47] with their exports, but they made major mistake which was [00:18:51] bombing the Sana airport when the delegation was [00:18:55] going back from the funeral of Sad Ali Khamenei, and I think I think that will [00:18:59] go down in their history books, it will be looked [00:19:02] as a major mistake made by the [00:19:06] regime there." that they started this escalation, they [00:19:10] started this war that they cannot exit from right now and which has led to [00:19:14] already uh major you know heavy [00:19:18] damage and major cost for them and as we've seen that the US sideline itself [00:19:22] from this, they asked the US [00:19:24] for help, [00:19:24] but it said that [00:19:24] it is not ready to for now join [00:19:28] Saudi Arabia to help Saudi Arabia getting out of this Squagmyer and [00:19:32] to bomb carry out an air campaign against Densarl [00:19:36] oppositions inside of Yemen. so Saudi Arabia has left [00:19:40] its own and I mean we did see that they were also part of [00:19:43] this meeting that was held in Germany and according to the [00:19:47] statement on central military headquarters that certain on central military [00:19:50] headquarters that certain countries at the certain you know the regional [00:19:54] countries they did give a green light to the US and I mean [00:19:58] it is a possibility of course that Saudi Arabia was one [00:20:02] these countries because I mean it is already asking the US for help [00:20:05] it is not alienating itself from from [00:20:08] the US, it is actually trying to go and for more you know relationships [00:20:12] with the United States, so it is one the countries maybe that did give a green [00:20:15] light, hoping that in some way the US would then [00:20:18] help it against Yemen, but what we see right now is that [00:20:22] any kind of escalation from the United States [00:20:25] and which is quite a big possibility given the statement from [00:20:29] Iran's central military headquarters, they said that according to their military [00:20:32] assessments, another war from the US is very much on the [00:20:36] cards right now and what we saw last night as well, [00:20:40] the major warnings that the US gave to almost the entire region [00:20:44] to it's [00:20:46] you know it citizens in the region to. [00:20:50] basically emergency warnings to all these countries around [00:20:54] Iran and the regional countries, there is a [00:20:58] possibility of you another aggression against Iran and we [00:21:01] might see that that Saudi Arabia is one the countries [00:21:04] that is part of this aggression against Iran, [00:21:08] but then again coming back to the statement Iran is going [00:21:12] to retaliate against Saudi Arabia as well if it [00:21:16] you know assists US and it is already fighting. [00:21:20] a battle with kemen that it is being very Yemen that it [00:21:24] is being very unable to win against that it [00:21:28] itself has placed a blockade [00:21:32] a naval blockade, air blockade, not even letting in [00:21:36] humanitarian aid for over decade and [00:21:40] the way they are not being able to hold this [00:21:43] country off, it will be very, i think [00:21:47] entertaining to see if Iran also... retaliates against [00:21:51] Saudi Arabia, what will become of that country? I mean, and this [00:21:54] is actually the result of [00:21:56] you know aligning and positioning yourself with [00:22:00] the United States, I mean you have to read what you [00:22:03] saw. Right, Mr. Ali ham, how [00:22:07] do you see the developments in Yemen, the escalation we are witnessing at the [00:22:11] upper hand Yemen he seems to have against Riyard um [00:22:15] affecting the chances of negotiated and [00:22:18] negotiated end to the war. between Iran and the [00:22:20] US, I believe everybody [00:22:24] in the world, all the countries around the global, the globe are [00:22:28] waiting for such agreement between Iran and United [00:22:32] States and according to [00:22:35] that they will do their homework in the [00:22:38] region or in in the world, like we can see now [00:22:42] what's going on in in Yemen and the retaliation against [00:22:46] Saudi Arabia that every time there is a war creat. [00:22:50] by Israel or united state through their [00:22:53] proxies in the region, we see [00:22:56] that yamen or Iran [00:22:59] are winning such aggression [00:23:02] against, so what when we see yemen [00:23:06] before and yemen now, yeman and [00:23:10] ansarullah [00:23:11] blocked the [00:23:15] straight of from remotely, now [00:23:19] they are on the... exactly and on immune [00:23:22] island which is in the center of babel mandab street [00:23:26] before United [00:23:29] State created such [00:23:33] aggression and [00:23:35] illusional ob [00:23:38] objective and targets against Iran [00:23:42] and they lost, they lost straight of hormos, they lost [00:23:46] their military bases, they lost the control the... [00:23:50] oil flow, so every time there is [00:23:54] a step through America, through Israel or through [00:23:57] their proxies in the region, they lost a big [00:24:01] bite out their power in the region, so what's going on right [00:24:05] now, in in in Yemen, [00:24:09] yemen, I believe they are like if they pass [00:24:12] ansarullah right now, the [00:24:16] Kahoop mountain kahabu mountain. [00:24:20] they will be very close to uh [00:24:23] to Addan and I believe they will try, I'm not sure how [00:24:26] long it will take, but they are trying right now [00:24:30] to reunify [00:24:33] Yemen, so maybe with [00:24:37] every bad step by [00:24:41] America and by its proxies [00:24:45] and especially the GCC [00:24:48] countries. they are losing, every time they [00:24:52] are losing, they are shrinking in the [00:24:56] region, and also they are shrinking [00:24:59] financially, economically, economic wise and [00:25:03] military wise. we are talking about 38 [00:25:06] brigades being surrounding yemen and [00:25:10] they lost their power, that's why Saudi Arabia went [00:25:13] back to air raids and strikes against Yemen, and [00:25:17] even though they are losing the war. and Ali, 30 [00:25:21] seconds, final question, how do you think um, major [00:25:25] offensive by the America and its allies on Iran [00:25:29] would end like, and um, is this, is will this be [00:25:33] a war of endurance more than anything else? Okay, [00:25:37] if we take the lunitic mind of Donald Trump, if we take [00:25:41] it from strategic perspective, I believe United [00:25:45] State will be very relaxed in case they [00:25:49] withdraw from uh from this war [00:25:52] against Iran and give it to [00:25:56] the GCC countries to [00:25:59] uh to to take their place - to [00:26:03] ignate the the sectarian war in the region and [00:26:07] I think United State will consider itself winning the war in case it [00:26:11] happens. Ali ham and Zenab Feroni, it was [00:26:15] indeed a pleasure to have you both on this rolling coverage on this special [00:26:19] occasion the breaking news of Iran's central military [00:26:22] command of Khatam Alambia warning the US and its persian [00:26:26] gulf allies against any new aggression against Iran. Thank you so [00:26:30] much for staying with us on Press TV. few minutes so we will be back with more [00:26:33] news. [00:30:22] Press TV headlines: Iran warns that all American bases and interest in the [00:30:26] region will be targeted with no restraint if the US launches [00:30:29] attack against Iran. [00:30:34] hamas con
