[00:00:56] of [00:01:06] live from the studios in live from the studios in [00:01:09] Tehran. Thank you for joining us. [00:01:13] Let's begin with our top story. Iran's parliament speaker has warned that despite [00:01:17] the apparent strength, the US is quite vulnerable economic [00:01:21] terms as [00:01:22] of a result of this aggression on Iran and the closure [00:01:24] of the street of Urmus. Mohammed baqir ghalibof made the remark [00:01:28] in a social media post. He use the famous internet meme [00:01:31] based on the shroadinga paradox to show how vulnerable the US [00:01:35] is to the situation in the straight of hormos and the oil market [00:01:39] crisis resulting from it. he said despite his apparent [00:01:42] hegemony, the US weakness is now fully [00:01:46] exposed [00:01:47] of and it is clear that it is impossible for Washington to suffocate [00:01:51] Iran economically without any blowback. ghalibof [00:01:55] attached to his post [00:01:56] a recent report by the American multinational banking institution, [00:02:00] JP Morgan, the banking giant said, for [00:02:02] the first [00:02:03] of time since the started a US is ready aggression, it does not have [00:02:06] a clear baseline view [00:02:09] of of for oil markets. JP Morgan warned that global inventories [00:02:13] of crude and refined products have fallen by around [00:02:17] of [00:02:23] a in in 555 million barrels. It caution that if west Asia oil supply disruptions persist, prices could [00:02:24] a move higher later this year as inventories decline [00:02:28] further. Human rights activist [00:02:32] Farazan Najim says, contrary to the picture that Trump [00:02:35] of has tried to portray, Iran has always been a garantour of peace [00:02:39] and security in the region while the US has [00:02:41] of jeopadized peace in west [00:02:43] Asia. [00:02:47] of The Islamic Republic of Iran has made it very clear that [00:02:51] they will not withdraw from this battle, that they will continue this [00:02:55] battle and they will secure their resources, they will secure [00:02:59] their nation. they will secure the region as [00:03:03] well because [00:03:04] the the access of resistance obviously relies on the Islamic Republic of Islamic Republic of [00:03:08] Iran has contributed lot and continues to contribute a lot to the [00:03:12] Palestinian cause and the whole access of resistance um and [00:03:15] in it's very clear that what Trump says and his declarations [00:03:19] are have no credibility and he has lost his credibility in [00:03:22] of the world uh because of his you his arrogance and [00:03:26] his tyranical behavior in the region especially. to west [00:03:30] Asia and it's also [00:03:33] of sacrificing um you know the uh neighboring countries to the Islamic [00:03:36] Republic of Iran that are most like most most [00:03:39] of them are obviously puppet regimes but still he's also using their land [00:03:43] as a platform to [00:03:45] من attack and not respecting their [00:03:47] على sovereignty whatsoever or there's no even consultation uh with the people [00:03:50] that are [00:03:52] you know ruling those countries supposedly ruling um [00:03:55] and the repercussions are coming down on all these on [00:03:59] on on all these countries, [00:04:02] primarily the Islamic Republic of Iran is very precise its [00:04:06] attacks, they're attacking the US bases, intelligence centers, things [00:04:10] like [00:04:10] in that, they're not killing any civilians in the neighboring [00:04:13] countries, thankfully that's because [00:04:15] of their [00:04:17] advancement, [00:04:22] the Iranian armed forces khatam central command has warned [00:04:26] the US and regional countries that any mistake could make them... [00:04:30] the country's painful attacks. The central command said Ivan has [00:04:34] information that the US is planning to resume hostilities against the [00:04:37] country [00:04:38] of on the green light of [00:04:39] in some regional countries. The top military body said any [00:04:43] of such move by the US will expose its entire interests and [00:04:47] bases in the region to effective back-to-back and painful attacks [00:04:51] by Iran. The central command warned that Iran will not think [00:04:54] twice about the also worn regional [00:04:57] of countries, the also worn regional countries. against adhering to the [00:05:01] hypocritical approach towards Iran by supporting the [00:05:04] of US of aggression, the central command said anyone complicit and [00:05:08] vicious acts [00:05:09] of the US should not expect restraint, from [00:05:13] Iran. We were [00:05:17] earlier joined by military and Strategic Affairs analyst Ali Hamiah from [00:05:21] Southern Lebanon. He gave us his take on the latest warning issued by [00:05:24] Iran's central military headquarters to the regional countries. [00:05:28] Let's say [00:05:31] listen. Let me describe the military American military situation in the [00:05:35] region. We can tell that as we [00:05:39] received and so uh on CNN. that [00:05:42] more than 17 American military bases [00:05:46] either damaged or destroyed or [00:05:49] demolished, flatten and so [00:05:52] many equipment been destroyed, it [00:05:56] obligates united state to regroup its troops [00:06:00] in the sea or [00:06:04] in in Jordan, it was the straight of [00:06:07] hormos and the war against Iran [00:06:10] supported the American. still [00:06:13] support supported by the GCC [00:06:17] countries uh by money, we don't forget [00:06:20] 5,200 billion [00:06:23] dollar or five trillion, 5.2 trillion [00:06:27] dollars been paid to united state in order [00:06:30] to to be the biggest [00:06:34] dominator the region, the Iranian are telling the [00:06:37] countries in the region, up to now we can [00:06:41] see your full support. by uh giving the [00:06:44] bases to the American, by letting them [00:06:48] using your airspace, if you move little [00:06:51] bit further than this, up to now we [00:06:54] are attacking and retaliating [00:06:58] against the American bases in your country, that if you [00:07:02] move from supporting to participating in such war, [00:07:06] it will be directly against you, it's a warning, [00:07:10] it's a warning. The [00:07:14] US president says the options before Washington against Iran are [00:07:17] limited to what he calls obliterating Iran letting his [00:07:21] economy collapse or reaching a deal. In an interview with Fox [00:07:25] News about the ongoing war against Iran, Donald Trump said [00:07:29] he is a deciding mode, adding that very big things will [00:07:32] unfold a near future. Despite US travel warnings [00:07:36] issued across the region, Trump said this week is no different from any [00:07:40] other week. He also said he would... probably be open to meeting [00:07:44] with Iranian president masosishion on the sidelines the UN [00:07:48] general assembly in New [00:07:50] York. [00:07:54] Press TV Zana Villani joined us earlier in the studios to [00:07:58] give us her take on the recent claims made by US president [00:08:02] Donald Trump. Let see [00:08:03] listen. If Trump has [00:08:07] been consistent in something, it has been in [00:08:10] making false claims and the... options also that they have presented the [00:08:14] three options is wiping Iran out right the [00:08:18] night before the seasfire was announced he said that he was going to [00:08:22] wipe out an entire civilization it [00:08:24] ended in sease fire and then he is talking about another option [00:08:28] which is to let Iran wrot economically well [00:08:32] the sanctions that they have imposed their economic the so-called economic dday [00:08:36] operation it's not something new Iran has been facing sanctions for the past [00:08:40] 47 years Iran has not rotted economical. but it has indeed [00:08:43] flourished and by the way, none these sanctions, new sanctions that [00:08:47] they have imposed on Iran, Russia and China rejected [00:08:50] those out right, because US credibility does not exist anymore, [00:08:54] and then another one is making a deal with Iran. Iran has presented its [00:08:58] options and its conditions that if you want to make deal, these are [00:09:02] conditions, if you accept it then great, if you don't then there is not going to be [00:09:06] deal, so this is the dual track strategy that the US has [00:09:09] employed for the past several. It's not just [00:09:13] Trump, several administrations have tried the [00:09:16] strategy of on the one hand, they give the option of talks and [00:09:20] negotiation, but of course Washington style, which is imposing [00:09:24] their conditions on the other party, and if you don't then of course they [00:09:28] have the other option which is sanctions and [00:09:31] threats and pressure, but it has not worked in the past and it is [00:09:35] not going to work in the future either, because Tehran has made it stance very clear in [00:09:39] the past several decades that Iran does not respond [00:09:43] to threats. a three-day [00:09:47] convention has been held in Islamabad to pay tribute to the martied leader [00:09:51] the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayid Ali Khamenei and other [00:09:55] marties the axis of resistance. large number of [00:09:58] students, religious scholars and political figures attended the gathering and [00:10:02] condemned the US Israel and condemned [00:10:05] the US Israel aggression against Muslim countries in the region. Press [00:10:09] TV's Nasarcas. Speakers paid tribute to ayatullah sayid Ali [00:11:19] Khamnai and other figures the resistance front highlighting [00:11:23] their sacrifices in. fronting oppression and foreign [00:11:27] aggression, the young people and young students [00:11:30] from all over Pakistan, they gathered here just to have a [00:11:34] convention on name, they named it as leaders [00:11:37] convention, that means they want [00:11:41] to show their conviction and their [00:11:44] support for the leader of [00:11:48] Islamic Revolution, sayyad Mustaba Khamenei and they want [00:11:52] to condemn US and Israel. "who have [00:11:55] attacked Iran without any reason [00:11:59] and Iranian nation, because this Iranian [00:12:02] nation, because they stood against them, [00:12:05] even their leader was multied and then they [00:12:09] gathered here just to pay tribute to the leader the [00:12:13] Islamic Revolution. The gathering provided a platform for [00:12:16] Pakistan Shia youth to discuss developments across the region, [00:12:20] including Iran, Palestine and Lebanon as well as Muslim [00:12:24] Unit. and the role of young people national and [00:12:28] regional affairs Iran has demonstrated through its [00:12:32] steadfastness that Muslim countries can stand together in unity and [00:12:36] defend their collective interests. If the Muslim Umma be more united, it could [00:12:40] strengthen its position and challenge the dominance the United States and [00:12:44] Israel. The Muslim world must also recognize that the old unipolar order is [00:12:47] changing and that the world is moving toward a multiolar system. At [00:12:51] the event, Stals displayed books documenting the... lives and [00:12:55] struggles of resistance leaders and artistic graveyard and [00:12:59] martter photographs were also featured along with images of [00:13:03] Minab school children, highlighting the human cost the recent [00:13:07] attacks on Iran. The convention concluded with [00:13:10] participants paying tribute to marters the resistance, [00:13:13] reaffirming calls for Muslim unity and expressing solidarity with [00:13:17] those facing us Israeli aggression. [00:13:21] Nasir Kazmi reporting for Press TV. In. [00:13:25] Islamabad: Yemen stop military [00:13:29] officials have issued a stark warning stressing that the continuation [00:13:33] of Saudi Arabia's aggression against the country will be met with [00:13:37] decisive and devastating response. The warning came a joint [00:13:41] statement by the Yemani Minister of Defense Major General Muhammad [00:13:45] Nasir Atafi and the chief the general staff [00:13:49] Major General Yusuf al madani. They stress that [00:13:52] Yemen will respond to Saudi Arabia. continued blockade [00:13:56] with blockade while any escalation will be met with heavy [00:14:00] response that would target Saudi Arabia's strategic [00:14:03] depth and interests. the two generals noted that the Yemeni [00:14:07] naval forces have guaranteed security of navigation for all [00:14:11] ships in the Red and Arabian seas except for Saudi [00:14:14] vessels which will find nothing but fire in Yemen's [00:14:18] waters. As waters. [00:14:22] Their remarks followed earlier comments by President of Yeman. supreme political [00:14:25] camp slammed the Saudi blockade, adding that the situation has [00:14:29] reached a stage that can no longer be tolerated. [00:14:33] Masat noted that the Yemani army and people have taken action [00:14:37] to end the blockade warning of further escalation if their [00:14:40] demands were not [00:14:41] addressed. [00:14:46] Now to talk more on this, we have Mr. Robert Fantino with us, author and [00:14:49] journalist joining us from Kishna, Ontario, Canada. Mr. [00:14:53] Fantina, good to have you. with us again on Press TV. Mr. Fontina, your [00:14:57] thoughts on the Yemani people saying enough is [00:15:00] enough, no more blockade or the Saudis will pay [00:15:04] heavy price. So all Yemen is asking is to [00:15:08] lift the illegal and inhumane blockade and that's it, [00:15:12] but it seems that uh the Saudis are not getting the [00:15:15] message. Yes, but they are going to get the message. What [00:15:19] the uh people of Yemen are asking for, as you said, an end the [00:15:22] blockades they can go on living their lives. without uh [00:15:26] this this war that has been raging uh for for many [00:15:30] years, it was low key for a couple of years, but now it's escalated [00:15:33] again uh, and the uh the uh hoothi... [00:15:38] uh leadership has said clearly that unless their demands are [00:15:41] met, the Saudi uh Saudi Arabia will be hit very [00:15:45] hard, so as I mentioned, if they don't get have the message yet, [00:15:49] they will very soon, because the Hithis have grown [00:15:53] in strength, military strength greatly over the last several years [00:15:57] and are definitely a forced to contend with, as Saudi [00:16:01] Arabia now knows, if Saudi Arabia does not want [00:16:04] to uh to suffer more uh more [00:16:08] more uh repris reprisals from [00:16:12] uh the Huthis and from Yemen, they will have to make some changes. It's [00:16:15] also telling that the United States, which [00:16:18] backed Saudi Arabia for years, no longer is doing so. Donald [00:16:22] Trump has said that as long as US ships aren't being bombed, he won't [00:16:26] intervene. Of course, he's very erratic, he could change his mind [00:16:30] in the next hour, but at this point, Saudi Arabia is its [00:16:34] own, and this is not where it wants to be. but it's going to be [00:16:38] there unless it makes uh major concessions uh to [00:16:41] Yemen. That's right, Mr. Fontina. Mr. Fontina, we have to remind the [00:16:45] viewers that the Yemani armed forces have reiterated on many times that the Bauble [00:16:49] Mendeb is fully open uh, but just not to the [00:16:52] Saudis. Uh, as we mentioned, blockade for blockade, [00:16:56] and that's been the blockade, I think is standing for about [00:17:00] 10 to 12 years now, more than decade. I'm Mr. [00:17:03] Fantina, the east-west pipeline has been put out of fun. [00:17:08] "the yambu port could be very well put out of order as [00:17:11] well, that's been attacked as well, even the capital Riyadh was [00:17:15] under attack uh, which could be a warning to the NBS, mhammed bin [00:17:19] Salman as he could be targeted as well, and now the west [00:17:23] coast of Yemen is under the Yemeni control, so it's not looking good for the [00:17:26] Saudis, no it's not, and it's due to their own [00:17:30] aggression, their desire to prop up a [00:17:34] government that does not have the support of its people and..." [00:17:37] and as you mentioned, the the bombing the capital, [00:17:41] the bombing of oil facilities, oil pipelines, the hoothies [00:17:45] have shown what they can do, and that's only [00:17:48] i think a precurse of what they will do in the future if there isn't [00:17:52] a reasonable uh end to this to [00:17:56] to to the to the blockade and other aggressive actions by Saudi [00:17:59] Arabia, there needs to be diplomatic solution, the [00:18:03] military uh continued military aggression uh [00:18:06] by Saudi Arabia and reprises by the hoothis will not [00:18:10] bring about peace, is will not bring about peace, [00:18:14] but the uh, I think the huties know that, but they're doing what they need to do, [00:18:18] needs to learn that it has to be open to diplomatic solutions, it will [00:18:22] have to make concessions in order to end this and to bring [00:18:25] about peace uh through their between the two countries [00:18:29] and to allow shipping to go through uh the boble mandab straight [00:18:33] again, without that it's going to be continued aggression, loss [00:18:37] of... life, economic consequences and just [00:18:41] suffering all around. that's Mr. Fontiny, you talked about peace, uh, [00:18:45] I believe NBS turn to Egypt uh, and the reply was, [00:18:48] diplomacy is the only way. uh, my question [00:18:52] would be, can the soudis handle the Yemenis on their own, which I [00:18:55] believe you, your answer is, no, definitely not, uh, but the [00:18:59] next question is, why hasuh the US been reluctant to help the [00:19:03] Saudis and also the and Pakistan and Turkey with [00:19:07] the... pact: well, for the US, first of [00:19:11] all, the US has expended a great [00:19:15] amount of its weaponry in its foolish and [00:19:18] misguided and completely illegal and unjust aggression against [00:19:22] Iran. the military leaders in the United States have warned the [00:19:26] president that this cannot continue, that their munitions are [00:19:29] dangerously low and will take years to replenish them, so therefore the United States [00:19:33] is not anxious to get involved in another military misadventure because... [00:19:37] it simply doesn't have the capacity to do so. as far as the other countries you mentioned and [00:19:41] the recent agreement that was was uh signed between [00:19:45] them and Saudi Arabia, this is this puts them a difficult [00:19:49] position. when the agreement was signed, this new [00:19:53] escalation between Saudi Arabia and the [00:19:56] Hutis was not anticipated, so each country [00:20:00] felt that it was uh, it was possibly making an [00:20:04] agreement that might at some future time have to come into. but [00:20:07] it was mainly a political move, now it's moving beyond political to [00:20:11] real, and these countries do not want to be involved in [00:20:14] it. we know from the United States of course, that treaties are [00:20:18] meaningless by the the countries that sign them, they can withdraw [00:20:22] from them any time as the United States do with the JCPO, it's [00:20:26] unfair and unjust and violation of international law, but they do it anyway, [00:20:29] but these other countries, Turkey and I, I don't remember now, the other [00:20:33] two or three that are involved, do not want to send their troops to... [00:20:37] fight uh Saudi Arabia, there many the [00:20:39] are defend Saudi Arabia, there are many their soldiers already in Saudi [00:20:43] Arabia, but they don't want them going into battle, so this puts everyone [00:20:46] each those countries an awkward position, they've signed the... [00:20:50] agreement, Saudi Arabia may ask for their assistance and they're going to be [00:20:54] very unwilling to provide that assistance. [00:20:58] That's right, Mr. Fontina, some sensitive times right now, blockade [00:21:01] top of a blockade with the Persian Gulf and blockade for blockade [00:21:05] with the ballman dep. Robert Fantina author and journalist joining us from [00:21:09] Kishna Canada. Mr. Fantina, as always, thank you for your time and [00:21:13] your analysis. Now the death toll [00:21:17] from Ukraine's attack on Russia's main oil. banary and residential [00:21:21] building in the Moscow region has risen to three. The [00:21:24] strikes also left nearly 20 people injured. Ukraine used [00:21:28] hundreds of drones in the attack. President Vladimir [00:21:32] Zelinski says the strike targeted the key Russian oil facility and [00:21:36] logistic site. The site supplies more than a third the Moscow [00:21:40] region's fuel. Russian officials have described the attack as a [00:21:43] largest drone strike in recent years. Both Russia and Ukraine have [00:21:47] escalated long-range strikes against each other. in recent [00:21:50] months, that's while [00:21:54] activist and commentator don the bar was with us earlier with his [00:21:58] take on the latest spike intentions between Russia and Ukraine, let's [00:22:02] take [00:22:06] desperation is uh, it seems that's what's going on [00:22:10] in Kiev, um, the [00:22:14] oround Zelensky there have been all kinds of abdications, [00:22:17] abandonments, people running out, selling their story about [00:22:21] how crazy and chaotic it is and that he doesn't even [00:22:25] speak Ukrainian uh very [00:22:27] well um and in the capitals in Europe [00:22:31] though in Bowen sorry in Berlin and uh [00:22:34] and London and Paris in particular uh they're [00:22:38] ramping up everything that they can dump into Ukraine [00:22:42] that can be fired into Russia uh while Russia says you [00:22:46] know look we're going to put a stop to this there was [00:22:50] the report of whether it was true or not uh a [00:22:54] warning certainly was sold as one where uh [00:22:57] the rail lines, one the rail lines uh running between uh [00:23:01] Poland and Ukraine that has been used for supplying the [00:23:05] Ukrainian troops uh was bombed and they took out the [00:23:09] uh the trains that run on it too, they're trying to get the Germans to [00:23:13] sell them trains but they won't fit the gauge of track [00:23:16] that's goes into Ukraine um and this [00:23:20] hit was right after uh Boris Johnson and a couple [00:23:24] of other knuckle heads from from western Europe [00:23:27] had visited Ukraine and [00:23:29] left um the [00:23:33] fact that the British and the Germans and the [00:23:37] French are conducting [00:23:40] on the open now a war against Russia means that there is a [00:23:44] war between uh Western Europe and [00:23:46] Russia. And [00:23:50] with that we come to the end of this bulletin. Thank you for being with us, take care and [00:23:54] stay [00:23:54] safe. [00:26:32] 13th, 2025, war came to Dr. Ali Fuladman's home [00:26:36] and Israely strike killed his wife and left the Iranian scientist [00:26:39] seriously wounded. It was not the last attempt on his life. Less than [00:26:43] year later, during the 2026 war, Fuladman was [00:26:47] targeted again [00:26:47] this time, he was martered. Fuladman was not a [00:26:51] politician, he was not a military commander, he was [00:26:54] scientist, a senior researcher who spent years [00:26:57] working on strategic technologies and national defense [00:27:01] projects. He served at Iran's Organization of [00:27:05] Defensive Innovation and Research, known as SPND, eventually [00:27:09] becoming his head of research. His work had already made him [00:27:13] a target of American pressure. On October 1st, 2025, the [00:27:17] U.S. Treasury Department sanctioned him, but Fuladwan's [00:27:20] most important contribution could never be captured in a [00:27:24] sanction list or an official title. He [00:27:28] taught, he trained young researchers, shared what he had learned and [00:27:32] helped prepare new generation to work in some of Iran's [00:27:36] most advanced fields of science and technology, for him, scientific [00:27:39] power was not simply about what one scientist could achieve, it was [00:27:43] about what could be passed on from one generation to the next, and [00:27:47] what may explain why scientists like Fulad Vand can become [00:27:51] targets, eliminating scientist may silence one voice, but [00:27:55] it cannot erase the knowledge of that voice has already passed to [00:27:59] others. Just days after his martterdom, the prestigious journal. [00:28:02] Science in its April 6, 2026 issue reported on the growing [00:28:06] Israeli campaign targeting Iranian scientists and universities, full [00:28:10] advance death had become part of a larger story, a [00:28:14] war in which those capable of advancing Iran scientific [00:28:18] and technological future were themselves being targeted, but [00:28:22] there is limit to what an attack can destroy a [00:28:25] laboratory can be hit, reserger can be killed, a generation [00:28:29] can lose one of its teachers, but knowledge survives lives, it is [00:28:33] carried by the students they trained, the researchers they inspired, and the people [00:28:37] who continue the work after they are gone, that was full [00:28:41] advance other legacy, one no missile could [00:28:44] eliminate, [00:28:55] anyone seeking to defend themselves from cyber [00:28:57] attack, we're being [00:29:01] controlled from above. [00:29:38] امام انسانيه [00:29:38] هاول قتل اعمى عم [00:29:41] بتشوفيه [00:29:45] وهل نملك يجعلون سلاحا اصابعهم [00:29:46] اخر في [00:29:47] جريمه اذانهم الصواعق حذر الله انا العهد يا نصر [00:29:51] الله [00:30:23] There has been over this weekend a major exchange of missile [00:30:27] fire by Iran in the US targeting oil tankers [00:30:31] and even a US [00:30:33] destroyer, uh, the new [00:30:36] secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security [00:30:40] Council Mahsen Razi said a very recent [00:30:43] interview that Iran didn't use ballistic missile from
