[00:00:04] of [00:00:08] a [00:00:17] of of a [00:00:22] in [00:00:28] of [00:00:39] in [00:00:58] This of is for Palestine. [00:01:27] هذا [00:01:45] Hello, of I'm Chris Williamson and this is Palestine Declassified [00:01:49] in where we focus on the international struggle to liberate [00:01:52] in Palestine and expose Israel's [00:01:53] of efforts of to manipulate the political class [00:01:55] of and corporate media. In today's show we'll be [00:01:58] scrutinizing the way which the British State is abusing the UK's [00:02:02] anti-terrorism laws to harass and intimidate journalists and [00:02:06] pro-palestine political activists. But before I talk [00:02:09] in about this abuse with our [00:02:10] of resident experts and our invited guest, this report [00:02:14] of explains how Muslims in particular have been targeted and highlights [00:02:18] two specific examples of this [00:02:19] crackdown. The British government's abuse [00:02:23] of terrorism laws continues with the recent police detention of [00:02:27] trainy lawyer and podcaster, [00:02:30] of Kazmi, an active supporter [00:02:32] of the Palestinian cause and the access of resistance. On the [00:02:35] 25th of [00:02:37] me August, on the way to his honeymoon, Kasme was stopped for several hours at [00:02:41] London Heathro air police, who questioned him a police, [00:02:44] who questioned him about Palestine, Iran and [00:02:48] Lebanon. Kasme had appeared on Palestine declassified [00:02:52] on many occasions and he recently travel to Iran to cover the [00:02:55] funeral of Ayatollah Khaminai, Iran's martered [00:02:59] leader. His detention is part of a broader picture of [00:03:02] political activists and journalists, particularly Muslims [00:03:06] being harassed in Britain on behalf [00:03:08] of the Zionist regime. Palestine declassified resident [00:03:12] expert, Professor David Miller, was also detained in questioned at [00:03:16] London Heathro airport last year [00:03:18] of after traveling back from Lebanon. These detentions, which [00:03:22] affect thousands of people every year occur on the schedule [00:03:26] 7 [00:03:26] of the terrorism act 2000. Under this... [00:03:30] people can be stopped, [00:03:32] of detained and subjected to highly intrusive questions, which [00:03:36] typically cover political, and or religious beliefs and [00:03:39] activities. anyone can be stopped under this legislation [00:03:43] without any suspicion of wrongdoing. the aim of a [00:03:46] schedule seven stop is supposedly to determine whether someone [00:03:50] is involved in commissioning, preparing or instigating [00:03:54] acts of [00:03:56] me terrorism, but in practice it's used against pro-palestine political activis. [00:04:00] journalist to intimidate and spy on them. In [00:04:04] 2014, sample taken by students at Cambridge University [00:04:08] reveal that 88% of those stopped on the schedule seven [00:04:12] a particular airport were Muslim, [00:04:14] of but these [00:04:15] of intimidatory and spying tactics go far [00:04:18] of beyond the Muslim community. In 2013, the late David [00:04:22] Miranda was detained at Heathro airport for carrying [00:04:26] files related to information obtained by the whistleblower. [00:04:30] Edward Snowden and in April [00:04:33] in 2023, in Ernest Murray [00:04:35] of who works for the Independent Publishing House, Lafabr, was detained at [00:04:39] St. Pankras international station while on his way to a London [00:04:42] Bookfair. La [00:04:44] of Fabric a produces of books like the holocous industry by Norman [00:04:47] Finkelsten. Cozmi's recent [00:04:50] a detention on the schedule seven highlights the need for continued vigilance [00:04:54] and campaigning against Britain's terrorism [00:04:56] of laws, in which are [00:04:58] in increasingly being used to. and spy on [00:05:01] pro-palestine activists inside the [00:05:03] country. is joining [00:05:07] me today to discuss what happened to him and to consider the wider [00:05:11] ramifications [00:05:12] a of these? intimidatory tactics amar is a political and legal [00:05:15] commentator and the host the attration podcast. i'm also [00:05:19] joined as usual by resident expert in the UK usual by resident expert [00:05:23] in the UK's leading scholar and critic of Israel david mixer the lobby and watch dog [00:05:27] spinwatch and a senior research fellow at the center for islam and global [00:05:30] affairs Istanbul Zayim University. welcome to the [00:05:33] show. well arm, I mean tell us what happened to to [00:05:37] you and and the sorts of questions that you were asked. well, this all [00:05:41] happened the day after my wedding, i was on the way with my [00:05:45] wife to my honeymoon, i was at London Heathrow [00:05:48] airport, and as i got to the gate to get onto [00:05:52] the airplane, my boarding pass scanned red, i was taken to [00:05:56] the side and uh there were three plain clothed police [00:06:00] officers who said to me, oh we want to have a little bit of a chat with you, [00:06:04] and i said uh, under what power uh, what's this all about? they said, [00:06:08] oh, this is under schedule seven, and i actually completed the sentence for them, i said schedule seven [00:06:12] the terrorism act, yes, I'm very familiar, because of course I've been in [00:06:16] situations where I've assisted other people who've been stopped under this power and I'm very familiar [00:06:20] with how these interviews go, what happens, so this wasn't a [00:06:24] unique process that happened to me, it's happened to of course many thousands of [00:06:27] people, and I have tried to learn from their experiences, so I think [00:06:31] they thought that I was going to be very flustered, very shocked, very [00:06:34] intimidated, but I wasn't at all, I was pretty composed, I have to [00:06:38] say throughout the whole process, they then took me to room, they [00:06:42] took my fingerprints, my g-degree photograph of my face, d-degree [00:06:46] photograph of my face. uh, what the purpose [00:06:50] is really of of taking all of this stuff, i don't know, [00:06:53] because um, they've stopped me under this power for which they don't need any [00:06:57] suspicion of wrong doing, so as far as i'm concerned, there's no suspicion that i have [00:07:01] engaged any wrong-doing, so they have no suspicion that i'm engaged [00:07:04] anything unlawful uh, so why they need all of this [00:07:08] information uh is beyond me, i don't think it has anything to do with. [00:07:12] stopping terrorism, it's all about trying to harass me, intimidate me, and [00:07:16] of course to intimidate other people and to gather intelligence on [00:07:20] people and to keep them under surveillance a very dictatorial, [00:07:23] authoritarian way. uh, in terms the actual questions, [00:07:27] I mean they didn't interestingly asking me about any specific [00:07:31] organization, they didn't ask me about Hamas, Hisbullah, [00:07:35] the IRGC, they spoke in very coded [00:07:39] ways about men. of violence [00:07:43] and groups that some people would consider to be [00:07:47] terrorists, but they didn't actually ask anything specific about [00:07:51] those groups, I think [00:07:51] it was obvious which groups they were alluding [00:07:54] to. I was also asked about my recent trip to the Islamic Republic of [00:07:58] Iran, of course I attended Iran early this year [00:08:01] to cover the funeral [00:08:05] of um Iran's martered leader ayatullah Khamenei, and this [00:08:09] was not something secret or covert, I was very... public about [00:08:13] the fact that I was in Iran, I was publishing videos and reports from [00:08:16] Iran on the ground, um, I was also asked [00:08:20] about my trip to Lebanon last year where I covered the [00:08:24] funeral of Sayid Hasan Nasarlah, and I [00:08:28] should also just clarify this point that for both these trips [00:08:32] I arranged my own visas, my own travel, I [00:08:36] didn't, I was not the the lacky of [00:08:39] any organization or government. [00:08:42] 'um, I was free to travel and to [00:08:46] do and say whatever I wanted to do and say, so no one was controlling me on either [00:08:50] these trips, um, but basically they were trying to [00:08:54] infer that or trying imply, sorry, that [00:08:57] you know you were there and you were doing something defarious, probably on behalf of [00:09:01] Hisballah or the irgc, which is of course completely uh ludicrous [00:09:05] and there's no evidence at all for that, um, we also spoke a [00:09:09] little bit about the Zionist entity and' [00:09:12] and zionism and zionist infiltration in [00:09:16] Britain, and I made that point actually, that really the threat here [00:09:20] is zyanism, there's no threat [00:09:24] to Britain from the Islamic Republic of Iran or Hizbullah, Hamas, all this [00:09:28] stuff is completely preposterous, but really in terms the questions I was being [00:09:31] asked, I really failed to see [00:09:34] what any of it had to do with supposed terrorism, as far as I'm [00:09:38] concerned, this was attempt to interrogate me and my [00:09:42] will. view uh a deeply authoritarian way, a [00:09:46] way that is reminiscent of some the worst dictatorships that the [00:09:50] the planet has ever seen, and this is [00:09:53] how so-called you know [00:09:56] democratic Britain treats it citizens. [00:10:00] well, David, I mean, you were also stopped weren't you, were last February on your way [00:10:04] back from from Lebanon, back from from [00:10:07] Lebanon, what was your experience similar to what amar [00:10:11] went through? well, I think the uh cops [00:10:14] in his case seemed a little bit better briefed than perhaps [00:10:18] were the ones in my case, because what happened to me was that they [00:10:22] clearly didn't have any idea who I was [00:10:24] or why. said i had been bounced into uh stopping me [00:10:28] by the fact that the zionist had clutched their purls and managed [00:10:32] to get the telegraph and the mail to report [00:10:35] that this very bad man was coming back from Beirut so I was stopped for four [00:10:38] and for four and a half hours and uh they didn't really know what to ask [00:10:42] me and uh they got progressively more and more embarrassing in [00:10:46] their cross-examination of me so I think the comparison with the [00:10:50] ar cases is instructive because it kind of looked like at least one [00:10:53] the... cops in his case was a little bit better [00:10:57] briefed on matters and was able to be a little bit more sophisticated, I mean the [00:11:01] questions in my case involved things like saying well [00:11:05] what about all this terrorism that's happening uh in the UK do [00:11:09] your friends and colleagues support that and I said what terrorism and they said [00:11:13] well the southport attack and I said well not even the police think [00:11:17] that that was a terrorist attack and his colleague shame facedly [00:11:21] said uh yeah that's correct and so it was just embarrass [00:11:25] for them, but um, [00:11:26] you know, I think [00:11:27] you you can go into these um uh interviews and uh be scared that [00:11:31] they're going to somehow interrogate you or bring things out that you [00:11:35] don't want to say, but actually um my experience and it seems to some [00:11:39] extent I'm ours is that uh the people who are doing the inter, the [00:11:42] people who are doing the interrogations are not really up to the job and [00:11:46] don't really understand the pol uh pin you pin you [00:11:49] with, I know George Gaway was saying buse [00:11:53] he was also stopped. wasn't he last last year and he's now [00:11:57] in self-imposed exile is a consequence of that, but he was saying that they [00:12:01] said to him, you're not under arrest, but you're not free to leave, and you must [00:12:05] answer our questions, you can't reserve your right to remain [00:12:09] silent, was was was that your experience as well? well yeah, that's the [00:12:13] script, the standard script that they read to you and they actually give you a copy the script [00:12:17] as well, that's the law, give you a copy the script as well, that's the law that [00:12:20] you yes, are not being arrested, you're being detained and you have to answer [00:12:24] the question. but of course you can also ask for legal advice, you can [00:12:28] have your lawyer present or you can speak to your lawyer in advance, which is [00:12:32] what happened with me, and they will advise you on what to see and what not to say, [00:12:36] but you actually have to answer the questions, the other thing of course is that [00:12:39] the answers you given the questions can't be used in evidence against you, [00:12:43] so it's more or less about trying to gather [00:12:47] insights for then further evidence [00:12:49] to be gather, that of course is the [00:12:50] real reason why people are stopped because they want to get their devices, they want to [00:12:54] understand yes? yesuh who they know, who they message and [00:12:57] whatsapp, and we've seen a case just recently where uh someone's [00:13:01] being uh prosecuted for a supporting a prescribed [00:13:05] organization, I think Hamas and instead [00:13:08] of uh actually having any evidence against them, what they've done is the they've taken [00:13:12] a speech that the person's made where they refer to Palestinian resistance [00:13:16] etc. and they then tried to say what they really [00:13:19] meant was Hamas, because when they looked at [00:13:23] the whatsapp messages the... was a time when once upon a time they said [00:13:27] something about Hamas, so it's an attempt to try and fit you up and to [00:13:31] do also to find out who else [00:13:33] you you're in touch with, yeah, crazy, crazy, well, well, I [00:13:36] mean, you're a law obiding citizen, and I mean, and you've previously worked in in [00:13:40] parliament, so why do you think the police decided to stop [00:13:43] you? well, I think we have to ask, what exactly [00:13:47] is all of this about, of course they don't believe that I'm involved in [00:13:51] terrorism, um, as I mentioned earlier, there was no... [00:13:55] suspicion that I have been engaged in terrorism and I have been engaged in [00:13:58] terrorism and they don't need suspicion in order to use this about it, this is about [00:14:02] harassment, if they of course if they believed that I [00:14:06] was actually involved in some sort of terrorist financing, [00:14:10] plotting, coordination, they would have arrested me [00:14:14] and they would have charged me with something because I'm sure if they really thought [00:14:18] I was a terrorist they'd be taking that very seriously, they wouldn't have just stopped at an airport and [00:14:21] then let me go on my way afterwards. so the [00:14:25] point of this principally in my view is about [00:14:28] harassment, of course you mentioned the fact that I a [00:14:32] law-abiding citizen here [00:14:34] of parliamentary office chris and parliamentary office chris [00:14:37] and by the British intelligence services by the British [00:14:41] Intelligence services in order to be able to do that, so at [00:14:45] some point Britain thought that I was not a security threat and now they've [00:14:48] decided that I am um for some reason, [00:14:52] obviously we know what the reason is, it's because I support palestine and I support [00:14:56] the axis of resistance uh that doesn't mean that [00:14:59] I'm uh somehow trying to undermine British interests, actually I [00:15:03] think that Britain's interests will be better served by being allies [00:15:07] the Islamic Republic of Iran, the access of resistance of Palestine and [00:15:11] of cutting diplomatic relations and all relations with the Zionist [00:15:14] entity. Um, that's my personal point of [00:15:18] view. Um, and look, [00:15:21] the the point these stops of course also, addition to harassment is about trying. to [00:15:25] obtain intelligence from people, because when you're in [00:15:29] that position, they have really extreme powers [00:15:33] that they don't have in other circumstances, so let's say you get [00:15:37] rest. and the police take you to a police [00:15:41] station, they don't have an automatic right to [00:15:44] demand the pin code to devices that you may have on you, to [00:15:48] devices that you may have on you order to do that, [00:15:51] and the order [00:15:52] to do that, and then in order to get that warrant they of course need to have some [00:15:56] suspicion of wrong doing that maybe there's data on this device that will assist a [00:16:00] police investigation, under schedule 7 they don't need any [00:16:04] of that suspicion, they can. [00:16:08] right there and then that you give them the pass code to [00:16:12] your phone, they can then enter your phone, build a [00:16:15] picture of your your personal network, this is all [00:16:19] about intelligence gathering and community [00:16:22] surveillance, and i think it's also about sending a [00:16:25] signal that we as the British [00:16:29] intelligence services, we as SO15 the Metropolitan [00:16:33] police, we're keeping an eye on you, and this is about [00:16:36] trying to... tur um any future work [00:16:40] or future activism that someone might want to be [00:16:43] engaging and that's not going to work, it's not going to work [00:16:47] against me certainly if they think that uh by stopping [00:16:51] me [00:16:51] at at an airport and by questioning me and looking through [00:16:55] my [00:16:56] you know devices that I'm going to get scared and [00:16:59] intimidated by them and I'm going to therefore stop speaking out, I'm [00:17:03] going to stop publishing, I'm going to stop appearing uh on programs like... [00:17:07] palestiny classified, i'm going to abandon the palestinian cause, [00:17:11] then they have another thing coming, and i think [00:17:13] that that should be everyone's attitude who stopped under [00:17:17] this power, and thankfully it is. mean, of course, professor David Miller, the [00:17:21] resident expert the show, was also stopped under this power and he's still going strong, and i very [00:17:25] much commend you, David for that. um, [00:17:28] and we have to understand [00:17:32] that uh, this power is not [00:17:35] about genuinely. trying to interrogate or to stop [00:17:39] terrorism, it's about harassment, and once you understand that, I [00:17:43] think that that gives lot of confidence. Well, David, [00:17:46] I mean it seems these laws are [00:17:47] are being weaponized by the Zies to to shut down support for for [00:17:51] Palestine in the access of resistance, I mean is that fair [00:17:55] assessment, do you think? Well, you say weaponize and of [00:17:58] course the zionists are trying to weaponize them, they're trying to [00:18:02] push the police uh to arrest people who shouldn't [00:18:06] otherwise bear. many these cases now we've seen [00:18:10] have been the result of pressure put [00:18:14] on the police or the home office or MI5 [00:18:17] by zionist groups [00:18:19] you identified zionist groups UK for Israel campaign against anti-semitism [00:18:23] etc. in my case of course the CA is taking a private prosecution [00:18:27] against me because the police declined to prosecute me because i [00:18:31] hadn't broker any laws so that's how that works but when you say weaponize [00:18:35] it's not correct in another sense the legislation. [00:18:37] is itself a weaponization, it's not that they are abusing the [00:18:41] legislation, the legislation actually makes it illegal to [00:18:45] voice support for an organization in the sense of [00:18:48] analyzing the activities of say hamas or palestinan islamic [00:18:52] jihad or hisb and and saying things which might be said [00:18:56] to be sympathetic to those organizations, now they don't really [00:19:00] believe that we're going to set up a Glasgow branch of [00:19:04] Hezbulah or the south London branch of Hamas, believe that's good to happen at [00:19:08] all, but that is the implication the legislation and legislation is drawn so [00:19:12] widely that it can catch anyone who who says something [00:19:15] ill-advised or or or loose about about hamas or [00:19:19] PIG or whatever, but and that even by [00:19:23] itself in the terrorism act 2000 didn't work, so they had to [00:19:26] actually uh make the offenses even broader, so it's [00:19:30] not just about supporting a prescribed organization, it's using words which might be [00:19:34] interpreted as supporting such an organization, so the real time to kind of [00:19:38] run a dragnet through society which doesn't allow people to speak [00:19:42] openly about uh matters of political [00:19:44] violence. would it be a stretch then to to [00:19:48] say that the legislation then has been weaponized on [00:19:51] behalf the the zinish lobby? well I don't think that's [00:19:55] unfair but the legislation itself was put in [00:19:59] place uh in part by pressure from the zionist [00:20:02] movement way back in the in the day, I mean the original [00:20:06] legislation you. was the prevention of terrorism brackets [00:20:09] temporary provisions act in 1974 and it had to [00:20:13] be had to be formally agreed by parliament every [00:20:17] single year as result it was temporary until 2000 [00:20:21] when they made it permanent and of course the way in which they made it permanent [00:20:24] started to prescribe other organizations was as result of [00:20:28] zionist movement lobbing that's why we started to have this [00:20:32] ridiculous list of organizations nothing to do with with britain [00:20:36] because the original list was only. organizations and they've started [00:20:39] to add on all these palestinian groups, which of course nobody's going to start a [00:20:43] branch of of those organizations in this country, that's what the legislation kind [00:20:47] of assumes, so it's extended and extended. so legislation [00:20:51] itself has been put in place with the under pressure from the zionis and then the [00:20:55] zionits wanted to go even further than that, yes right, yes [00:20:58] indeed, well well am I, I mean, you're you're training to be a lawyer, aren't [00:21:02] you? do you think the British terrorism laws are really [00:21:05] designed to to stop terrorism? look, I think [00:21:09] objectively speaking, you could say that Britain's uh [00:21:12] terrorism laws have some relation to trying to [00:21:16] stop so-called terrorism uh because... [00:21:20] "you know, obviously they've designated various groups that I think everyone would [00:21:24] agree on the various groups that shouldn't be being financed, shouldn't [00:21:28] be being supported any way, shape or form, alqaida, [00:21:31] ISIS uh, things like that. Um, the [00:21:35] problem is though, that the definition of [00:21:38] terrorism is basically now meaningless, at least from legal [00:21:42] standpoint. The classic understanding was that [00:21:45] terrorism is the use of violence by non-state [00:21:49] actors. in order to achieve political ends, but [00:21:52] firstly what is violence, right? so the idea of what violence [00:21:56] is has been expanding, now we have you a non-violent direct [00:22:00] action network here in Britain called palestine action being prescribed as [00:22:04] a terrorist organization, we have people holding placards saying that they [00:22:08] oppose genocide, that they support palacing action being arrested, [00:22:12] 80-year-old priests, disabled [00:22:16] people who are just protesting that being charged under the... [00:22:20] terrorism act, so uh, what is the meaning of violence, [00:22:23] what is the meaning of terrorism? and um, even when [00:22:27] it comes to the classic understanding of terrorism about state [00:22:31] bodies, well they're now prescribing state [00:22:34] bodies like the uh IRGC um, which state, but [00:22:38] now that's been classed as a state, but now that's been classed as a terrorist [00:22:42] organization here in Britain. I mean, you kind of had that already with the prescription [00:22:46] of Hamas's political wing and of Hisbullah's political wing. 'hamas of [00:22:50] course being the elected government of Gaza, Hisbullah having two ministers [00:22:54] in the Lebanese government, so in some ways you could say those are also [00:22:58] sort of state actors, but with the prescription the IOGC it's [00:23:01] even clearer, so um, this [00:23:05] is basically about fulfilling zionist wishes, this [00:23:09] is zoonist lobbying, zionist pressure, zionist [00:23:12] infiltration uh, which is really damaging [00:23:16] Britain uh, Britain Britain's interests, indeed it's standing across'. [00:23:20] the world, people just look at Britain now, I think, what's going on [00:23:23] there, it's absolutely absurd, they're calling everyone and everything uh, a [00:23:27] terrorist, so um, what they ought to be doing, and I made this point in [00:23:31] my interview is Britain should be, like if we're going to have this terrorism apparatus [00:23:35] and it's going to mean anything, Britain should be prescribing [00:23:38] zionist organizations, they should be confiscating their funds, shutting [00:23:42] them down, and of course Britain should be detaining and [00:23:46] charging anyone going from Britain to fire. [00:23:50] in the Israel occupation forces and we know that thousands of British Jews have done [00:23:54] that, those people need to be tracked, followed, [00:23:57] imprisoned uh, and they should be facing very large [00:24:01] sentences in prison, and I think also Britain and the British [00:24:04] intelligence services ought to be far more concerned about false flag [00:24:08] terrorism coming from the mossad than they should about you, [00:24:12] ficticious Iranian, lebanese or Palestinian [00:24:14] terrorism uh, which [00:24:17] you know there's really no evidence for and is not a threat to... person, well [00:24:21] David, I mean, we've discussed this on on previous shows, [00:24:24] but this seems to be further circumstantial evidence that the [00:24:28] British intelligence services and police have been penetrated [00:24:31] essentially, influenced by the cienist lobby, isn't [00:24:35] it? well, it does look like that, and of course it [00:24:39] looks like that going back some some considerable distance in history, but in [00:24:42] only the recent past, we've seen all sorts of [00:24:46] nonsense spouted by, especially by MIF. [00:24:50] about the threats that are faced by this country, of course they do in [00:24:54] relation to Russia and to China as well, but in particular [00:24:58] threat from the alleged threat from Iran, and that's of course [00:25:01] why they prescribed the IRGC, it's supposed to be running [00:25:05] agents and running operations in the UK, which of course manifestly [00:25:09] isn't, but the reason that they say this is not just [00:25:13] because they're incompetent and ideological, it's also because they're being [00:25:16] pressured by the mosad and given information. "the mossad were [00:25:20] the ones who supplied the information about this new pro Iran terror [00:25:24] group, which of course doesn't exist, which has been made up in order that they could [00:25:28] prescribe the IRGC, in order they could pass millions [00:25:31] of more public money to zionist lobby groups, which themselves have close [00:25:35] connections with the mosad, so yeah the whole thing is a scam uh, but [00:25:39] the but we're not allowed to say that because apparently that would be [00:25:42] antisemitic, no indeed, mean of course amar as he was saying there, [00:25:46] mean they didn't think he was actually a terrorist and i think he he's..." "I [00:25:50] think you what you're saying that this is really about you, [00:25:54] intimidation and [00:25:55] and and just fishing exercise, well of course it is, I mean I [00:25:59] mean you, I've been stopped by the police uh way back." when [00:26:03] when the the pass and ingreats weren't even [00:26:06] prescribed going to Ireland and that that was just all [00:26:09] about one time they said well you can go less now off we go on the boat [00:26:13] quick it's going to shot soon and they knew it was already shot they just did it to to [00:26:17] annoy us you know that's the long history the special branch [00:26:21] sure sure no indeed indeed indeed well I'm afraid that's what we got time [00:26:24] for today so I'd like to thank our guest I'm our caspy and of course our resident [00:26:28] expert David Miller if you want to support the show you can follow us on [00:26:32] facebook, rumble and telegram where we post regular clips and updates and if you want to [00:26:36] see us continue standing up for Palestine and exposing the zianist colony, please [00:26:40] consider donating to our fighting fund. So until then, this is Chris Williamson, saying [00:26:52] bye for [00:26:52] now. [00:27:10] نحن الحمد لله بنصبر ابنائنا [00:27:13] بنصبرهم على ان شاء الله بنقول لهم يما بيصير [00:27:17] مستقبل قدامكم احسن من هذه الحياه اللي نحن [00:27:20] عايشينها بس نحن لازم نصبر على هذا [00:27:24] لانه هذا بلاء والحمد لله من رب العالمين بدنا الصبر [00:27:28] نصبر عشان ان شاء الله الاحتلال مش [00:27:31] حيدوم. she has been displaced 15 times, honestly it's [00:27:35] easy to say that, you can't even begin to imagine what it means to be displaced 15 [00:27:39] times. the problem with western feminism, i [00:27:42] think is more that it doesn't link the struggle of [00:27:46] for example, palestine, Iran, wherever, to the [00:27:50] Iran, wherever, to the fight against imperialism, and if [00:27:53] you don't fight against imperialism, then [00:27:57] uh the [00:27:58] problem. [00:28:02] Yeah! [00:29:00] Behind the cold lifeless. statistics of war, lifeless [00:29:04] statistics of war, lie human faces, each one's a [00:29:08] world of life, laughter and unfulfilled dreams earth [00:29:12] was reduced in a single instant a picture frame a [00:29:16] wall. one of those names is Elijah Khatami, a [00:29:19] 12-year-old boy from the city of Lamer, full of [00:29:22] vitality, sharp-witted and with smile that never left [00:29:26] his face, like many boys his age across the globe, he had a [00:29:29] dream, he loved football, he would erupt... with joy with his [00:29:33] team one cheer for Cristiano Ronaldo and lose himself in [00:29:37] the sheer thrill of chasing ball, yet deep in his [00:29:41] young heart, even bigger dream had taken root. he [00:29:45] wanted to be firefighter, to run into the flames and save [00:29:49] lives. his father still vividly recalls the day he dressed [00:29:53] him an oversized firefighter uniform, handing him [00:29:56] extinguisher as Elia's eyes sparkled with the [00:30:00] passion to put out fires and rescue. [00:30:02] people, but the fire that engulfed this land was not [00:30:06] meant to be extinguished, nor did it leave any room for rescue and [00:30:10] devastating war waged by the US and Israel, the dreams of [00:30:13] generations collapsed in the blink of an eye. on [00:30:17] February 28th, the first day of war, it was on that very [00:30:21] afternoon as Elia thrilled by the school break, tied [00:30:25] his football clates and stepped outside with light, eager [00:30:28] steps that the terrifying roar of air strikes tore through the... [00:30:32] sky his father running desperately through gridlocked panicked.
