[00:00:01] of [00:00:04] a of [00:00:07] a [00:00:13] In an exclusive interview with Press TV Iron interview with Press [00:00:17] TV Iran security chief [00:00:18] of wars that American assets including key data and AI [00:00:22] centers will be strike if the US wages another war. The [00:00:26] spokesman says a major wave of a long range missile and drone strike. [00:00:30] has targeted [00:00:31] of key airports and energy infrastructure across Saudi [00:00:36] of Arabia and US [00:00:38] of president says Keeven Moscow have agreed to immediate energy sease fire. [00:00:42] Zelensky says he was surprised about the announcement describing [00:00:45] it as on her [00:00:47] news. [00:00:52] of [00:01:00] In the name of God, the most compassionate, the most merciful, I am Bahman Roy, and this [00:01:04] is Press TV news. Iran's top security [00:01:08] official tells Press [00:01:09] of TV an exclusive interview that the US has suffered defeat after [00:01:13] defeat against Iran, and that is why Washington has turned to [00:01:17] economic war against the [00:01:19] country. The [00:01:23] enemy suffered major defeat in the 12-day war and then again in the 40-day [00:01:27] war. They resorted to [00:01:29] of naval blockade, but that led them nowhere and recently they launched [00:01:33] of economic isolation plan. [00:01:34] in they faced defeat in almost [00:01:36] in every single campaign they launched, but we stayed put pursuing our plans and [00:01:40] neutralized all those campaigns with accurate planning and [00:01:43] calculations. major [00:01:46] general mosen reiz said the US has failed even to end the [00:01:50] board. the secretary [00:01:51] of the supreme national security council said an end is in the [00:01:55] hands of Iran and Iran will not stop its resistance until it [00:01:59] gets what its rightfully it her. Razay [00:02:02] added that the US is at the root [00:02:04] of the problem concerning the straight of hormoos, the general said Iran seeks [00:02:08] management [00:02:09] of the straight to ensure regional security, especially in the Persian [00:02:13] gulf. He also rejected the US's claim that [00:02:15] it is transporting major amounts of oil through the key water [00:02:19] bay. The general said the US is only using smugglers to [00:02:23] transport negligable amounts of oil while the straight remains [00:02:26] closed. [00:02:56] in [00:02:58] of [00:03:12] of This is smuggling job along the southern side [00:03:17] of of the straight that costs dearly and has numerous risks. Then Trump says the [00:03:20] straight is open. Then again, he says, "I transport [00:03:24] oil, but natural gas is not transiting. The same goes [00:03:28] for helium and fertilizers." [00:03:35] of AI [00:03:38] centers will be strugg [00:03:40] in if the US wages [00:03:41] of another act of aggression against Iran. He said Iran still has untouched [00:03:45] of targets in the UAE and a straight of homose that will be hit in case of [00:03:49] new aggression. He said those targets are worth nearly two trillion [00:03:53] dollars and formed the beating heart [00:03:55] of the US [00:03:56] economy. [00:04:01] It was in late February that the US carried out a strike a school in Iran's [00:04:05] southern city of Minab [00:04:07] of in that killed 168 civilians. Now an interview with Press [00:04:11] TV, deputy foreign minister Kazam Garbadi said [00:04:14] of Tan is determined to pursuit case [00:04:17] of of the deadly US attack via international legal channels. He added that some [00:04:21] international lawyers have also expressed interest the in the [00:04:27] of case, [00:04:29] in accordance. with international law and international humanitarian [00:04:32] law, the [00:04:34] of children, the educational centers, hospitals [00:04:38] a infrastructures are immune from attack, but unfortunately the [00:04:41] United States of America violated all these [00:04:45] international principles and disregard, so we are [00:04:49] so determined to help this issue not only at the [00:04:53] level [00:04:53] of the domestic course, but also at the level [00:04:56] of the f courts and international judicial system [00:04:59] the United state should be held accountable and responsible for the crime that [00:05:03] has committed and just to god the international humanitarian [00:05:07] law principles, human rights law [00:05:11] of principles and also international law. principles and the provisions the charter the [00:05:14] united nations, all these [00:05:18] prohibiting actually attacking the children and [00:05:21] educational [00:05:26] and also [00:05:26] countries even in the United States of America, they have showed interest in [00:05:30] this issue and some them on the voluntary basis, [00:05:33] so started some investigation and [00:05:37] also they have opened some cases before the judicial [00:05:41] against [00:05:41] the god so... "I think that that's a very good [00:05:45] move, I believe that that's the responsibility [00:05:49] the the various people in the European [00:05:52] countries that claiming, so that that is very, very [00:05:56] important and we support all these moves and also if they need [00:06:00] any evidencees so they can contact us, also they can [00:06:04] contact the civil society in Iran, we will provide them with all [00:06:08] necessary evidences to let them to pursue those [00:06:11] judicial cases." [00:06:16] The enemy armed forces spokesman says a major wave of [00:06:20] long-range missile and drain strikes has targeted key airports and energy [00:06:24] infrastructure across Saudi [00:06:26] Arabia. [00:06:30] The armed forces carried out for qualitative operations in the past 24 [00:06:33] hours using ballistic and cruise missiles and drones. The [00:06:37] first operation targeted in three phases King Khalid International Airport in [00:06:41] Riyad. resulting in the disruption of air traffic and the complete closure the [00:06:45] airport. The second operation targeted the Sugar Dam gas [00:06:49] facility belonging to Arenko in the eastern province and resulted in large [00:06:53] fires breaking out at the targeted site. The third [00:06:57] operation targeted the Arenco tanajib oil refinery in the eastern [00:07:00] province and resulted in ignition in it. The fourth [00:07:04] operation targeted King Ford International Airport in [00:07:07] Daman. [00:07:12] general Yaya Sari added that Yemani forces deployed six ballistic [00:07:16] missiles and two drones against Saudi back troops in Babel Mandab [00:07:19] region. He said that the attacks are in response to over [00:07:23] 124 Saudi-backed air strikes across Yemen [00:07:26] in just 24 hours. Yaya Sari reiterated the morning [00:07:30] against using Saudi airports except those in Mecca and Medina [00:07:34] declaring them potential targets. He said operations would continue [00:07:38] to escalate under the prince would continue to escalate under the principle. [00:07:42] of escalation for escalation and blockade for blockade on siege are [00:07:46] brought to an [00:07:47] end. [00:07:51] The American President Donald Trump says Ukraine and Russia have agreed to [00:07:55] immediate energy cease fire. Trump did not provide any more [00:07:59] details about the deal. He urged both sides to refrain from [00:08:03] violating the agreement. Following Trump's remarks Ukrainian president Vuladimir [00:08:06] Zelensky said he was surprised about the announcement describing it [00:08:10] as unheard news. but said he would agree to it [00:08:14] if his Russian counterpart did the same. Vladimir Putin has [00:08:18] yet to make a comment. The deal comes a day after Trump said Russia [00:08:22] agreed to release 30000 tons of diesel [00:08:25] immediately to the American and global market [00:08:28] place. Ukrainian [00:08:31] President, Ukrainian President, President Donald [00:08:34] Trump's called for Ukraine. President Donald Trump's call for Ukraine to [00:08:38] pick new leader. [00:08:43] President Trump said that um that we need Ukraine [00:08:47] needs new president, so first of all with all respect to president [00:08:50] Trump, it's [00:08:54] up to our society, up to our people to [00:08:57] choose one or another [00:09:00] leader. [00:09:04] In an interview with ABC news, Zelensky said conducting such an [00:09:08] election violates Ukrainian law and constitution. [00:09:12] remarks came day after Trump said Ukraine needed a new president [00:09:16] would agree to end the war. The exchange is the latest a long [00:09:20] history of tensions between the two presidents, which previously included a [00:09:24] heated Oval Office [00:09:25] confrontation. [00:09:30] Donald Trump's announced deal to buy diesel from Russia has not [00:09:34] gone down done well with the Americans. Social media reactions [00:09:37] reveal growing anger over Trump's move, especially after his repeated [00:09:41] statements. insisting that European countries should stop buying [00:09:45] Russian oil, users are now arguing that the surge in the US fuel [00:09:49] prices is results of Trump's failed war against [00:09:52] Iran, not the war in [00:09:54] Ukraine. [00:09:59] If you're going to win you're going to have to not buy oil from Russia. Europe is, they're [00:10:03] my friends, but they're buying oil from Russia, so we [00:10:07] can't be expected to be the only ones that are on full [00:10:11] bore. I put a... [00:10:25] for buying russian fuel because he understand fuel and means that you're [00:10:29] giving fuel fuel and means that you're giving fuel to Putin who [00:10:33] will then use the money after selling said oil to buy more weapons [00:10:37] and manufacture more weapons to then use inside Ukraine [00:10:41] which then just prolongs the war so he understands the concept but [00:10:45] he doesn't [00:10:45] want to follow his own [00:10:46] words [00:10:50] so it turns out Trump's plan to buy Russian diesel is blatantly illegal [00:10:54] there's the law. below and it basically says, it can't [00:10:58] happen until Congress certifies with 30 days notice that the [00:11:02] war in Ukraine is over, which is absolutely not. This is how [00:11:05] stupid they are, Trump is evil, this is [00:11:09] absurd, and there all bunch [00:11:11] of damn traits, because remember, we're at war with Iran, and the [00:11:15] Iranians are using Russian satellite intelligence to kill American [00:11:19] soldiers. [00:11:26] Russia attacked Ukraine for years and a half ago. Russian oil was [00:11:30] sanctioned since then, prices of diesel were fine in America. Prices [00:11:34] went up only after the war in Iran started. Stop blaming [00:11:37] Ukraine, blame Trump and [00:11:39] corporations. [00:11:45] It's a massive amount of massive oil coming into our country, and it's [00:11:49] diesel, it's actually 300 thous tons. The [00:11:53] US uses 500 thousand. tons per day, so it's about [00:11:56] 16 massive our [00:11:57] supply. [00:12:03] Trump is making American taxpayers send cash to Putin. No [00:12:06] diesel fuel will ever come from Russia. Prices in the US [00:12:10] won't go down, because the cause of fuel inflation is Trump's disastrous [00:12:14] war against [00:12:14] Iran. [00:12:19] Russia and Ukraine have been at war for years and diesel prices didn't [00:12:23] hit record highs and after Trump attacked [00:12:26] Iran. [00:12:32] Trump got 300 thousand tons of diesel from Putin, that's [00:12:35] 2.5 million barrels. The US consumes [00:12:39] 3.5 to 4 million barrels of diesel a day. [00:12:43] Trump got one half a day's worth of diesel off Putin, paying more for fuel [00:12:47] so Israel can kill its neighbors. Isn't something I'm interested [00:12:50] in? [00:12:58] The Israeli occupation forces continued their violations across Lebanon as [00:13:02] a civilian was killed by war remnants in the [00:13:05] south. War plane struck several towns across the south while [00:13:09] heavy shelling pounded border areas. The IOF aircraft [00:13:13] also flew over Beirot debecca and [00:13:16] Nabatia. In frown a war remnants exploded near [00:13:20] citizens picking olives, killing one person and injuring [00:13:23] others. Meanwhile has. said the [00:13:27] region is waiting for the Iranian American [00:13:29] negotiations. Fadlallah stressed a need to remain [00:13:32] steadfast and uphold resistance's legitimate right to [00:13:35] defend [00:13:42] with its genocidal attacks across the genocidal attacks across the [00:13:46] gaza strip killing and injuring more Palestinians. A [00:13:49] seven-year-old child died from injuries after being shot by Israeli [00:13:53] forces in Jabalia refug. camp, medical sources report [00:13:57] at least six other Palestinians were killed across Gaza on [00:14:00] Sunday, bringing the number of fatalities since the cease fire to [00:14:04] effect to 1,488. In [00:14:08] a broader picture, Israel's genocidal war since October [00:14:11] 2023, has taken the lives of over [00:14:13] 74,370 Palestinians while [00:14:17] entering 175,00 [00:14:20] others. [00:14:26] Residents across Gaza woke up to wide spread destruction after wave of [00:14:30] Israeli bombardment hit homes and neighborhoods, family said they fled [00:14:33] with little more than clothes that they were wearing, losing their last [00:14:37] shelters and belongings. Now with winter approaching many of [00:14:41] once again left wondering where they can [00:14:44] go. [00:14:50] Last night, it all started when people suddenly began calling us to get [00:14:53] out. I have. two sons with disabilities, so I carried them down [00:14:57] to the street. We rushed out with nothing, not even knowing where the [00:15:01] attack was targeting. As you can see, the whole area now [00:15:05] lies in ruins. We have lost our last shelters and [00:15:08] homes. Where will we go [00:15:10] now? [00:15:17] This area is densely populated with civilians with no military [00:15:21] presence. After the attack, we returned to find this. [00:15:25] station, most homes have been either completely or partially [00:15:29] destroyed, how long will this go on? we have been [00:15:32] displaced dozens of times, yet the suffering remains the [00:15:36] same. i los [00:15:53] out without we all rushed out without what could [00:15:57] anyone possib what could anyone [00:16:00] We all possib rushed by the time we made it by the time we made it [00:16:04] it is painful to see the home [00:16:06] it is painful to see the home it is painful to see the home [00:16:10] reduced to ruins, reduced to ruins [00:16:13] building, and now we all have to building, and now we all [00:16:17] have [00:16:23] to in gaza city, minasal jabur reports that [00:16:27] one year after the cease fire in the gaza strip, the Israeli regime continues [00:16:31] its illegal expansion, gradually pushing this so-called yellow [00:16:34] line further into Palestinian territory. [00:16:41] after year of what is so called the seasfire agreement which is [00:16:45] talk effect in 2025 yesterday's [00:16:48] night the Israeli army just moved and advanced to [00:16:52] the neighborhood in the eastern areas of shajaya [00:16:55] neighborhood and moved the and and the placed the [00:16:59] yellow cubes here in the the neighborhood as you see [00:17:02] here the block is behind me and the residence were afraid and [00:17:06] they have panic and fear to move and to evacuate [00:17:10] another time for maybe 10th or or or 12th [00:17:14] time from their places and they left all these destroyed [00:17:17] homes to leave and to move to another nowhere, [00:17:21] they don't have tents, they don't have another homes, they don't have anything to [00:17:25] be saved in or to have it like a shelter, so people [00:17:29] in people of ash neighborhood are living in fear and they evacuated [00:17:33] immediately after the Israeli occupation or the Israeli army members [00:17:37] came at the night [00:17:38] at this night and move this after heavy gun shoot [00:17:42] fire towards and against civilians who are residence [00:17:45] here uh the cease fire is no real cease fire [00:17:49] about year about year a complete year with no cease fire and the israeli [00:17:53] violations continued and still making so many crimes and [00:17:57] people day and people die day after day and people injured day [00:18:01] after day and the international law and the international committees just [00:18:05] watch in silence. South [00:18:08] Koreans have demonstrated in downtown soul on Sunday to call [00:18:12] attention to the continuing US Israri genocide in Gaza and the [00:18:16] US war on Iran. They slamed US President Donald Trump and Israely [00:18:20] Prime Minister Netanyahu as war criminals pressed TV [00:18:23] correspondent Frank Smith reports from the South Korean Capital [00:18:27] Soul. [00:18:32] Palestinians, west Asians and people from all over join South [00:18:36] Koreans to march and in downtown soul to draw attention [00:18:39] to the genocide in Gaza now marking three years. [00:18:43] Palestinians express their gratitude in solidarity on [00:18:47] this global day of action for Palestine. From [00:18:51] Palestine to Korea, from Gaza to all the peoples the world, [00:18:55] we will remain united because justice knows no borders, because [00:18:59] our freedom is interconnected, and because our destinies are intertwined. [00:19:03] We will not stop until the genocide ends, until wars and [00:19:06] occupation. and come to an end, and until every people achieve [00:19:10] freedom, dignity, and the right to self-determination. Colonial settler [00:19:14] identities are seen to contribute to enabling action and [00:19:18] failure the international community to end the conflict. [00:19:22] Part of why these uh superpowers are not acting [00:19:26] against uh Israel's genocide, is because then they [00:19:30] would have to confront their own genocide that they have historically committed [00:19:34] against the native people, for instance the native Americans or... [00:19:37] Aboriginal people in Australia. U.S. president Donald Trump has [00:19:41] rubber stamped Israel's genocide with weapons and diplomatic [00:19:45] cover for Israel, drawing harsh criticism. [00:19:49] Protesters and with that is so much for staying with [00:19:52] us on Press TV so much for staying with us on Press [00:19:55] TV. [00:20:40] Hello everyone, this is John Mimer, and the [00:20:44] subject I'd like to talk about today is the Trump [00:20:48] administration's. strategy [00:20:52] for dealing with the Iran war, in other [00:20:56] words, the Trump administration's latest [00:20:59] strategy for winning the war against [00:21:03] Iran, getting the Iranians to surrender [00:21:06] to uh the president's demands, and what [00:21:10] is happening for the past few weeks is that [00:21:14] the administration has been waging a [00:21:18] propaganda campaign. in the mainstream media [00:21:21] to convince the Iranians that they're [00:21:25] doomed and that the tide has clearly turned [00:21:28] in America's favor and they better cut a deal [00:21:32] now uh the sooner they cut the deal the [00:21:36] better for them uh because we are [00:21:40] inflicting massive punishment on them and in fact President [00:21:43] Trump is threatening to annihilate uh Iran [00:21:47] if it uh Iran if "it doesn't [00:21:50] surrender uh, now the [00:21:54] mainstream media, unsupply playing along with the [00:21:57] administration, and all the claims that the [00:22:01] administration makes about what's happening and [00:22:05] what that means for Iran are repeated [00:22:08] endlessly in the mainstream media, you see this even [00:22:12] in outlets like al-Jazera uh and [00:22:16] certainly in outlets like the Wall Street Journal." [00:22:20] "and I would also note that hardly anyone ever [00:22:24] throws any cold water on the claims that the [00:22:28] administration makes, um, it's really [00:22:32] quite remarkable, the administration says it's going to move these [00:22:35] military forces to the Middle East, and it's going to have such and such an [00:22:39] effect, and uh, nobody really assesses [00:22:43] whether these claims make any sense, [00:22:47] and what I'd like to do in this..." episode [00:22:50] is explain to you uh exactly [00:22:54] what I think the administration is up to with this [00:22:58] propaganda campaign uh and tell you why [00:23:02] I think it is not going to work. I i [00:23:05] think this attempt to in effect [00:23:09] hoodwink the Iranians into surrendering, [00:23:13] convincing them uh that they are doomed and they [00:23:17] are on the verge of catastrophic defeat uh is not [00:23:20] going to work, and it's not going to work in large part, because the facts tell [00:23:24] you otherwise, uh, and further more, it's [00:23:28] in my opinion, almost impossible at this point in [00:23:31] time to fool the Iranians into [00:23:35] thinking uh, that it's time for them to [00:23:38] surrender. now, the way I'd like to proceed is I'd [00:23:42] like to describe, the two [00:23:45] prog, the two progs the [00:23:48] administration's approach. prong and then there's a [00:23:51] military prong, it's a two-pronged approach, and what I want to do is [00:23:55] describe each of those prons, starting with the economic and then going [00:23:59] to the military, and then in reverse order [00:24:03] explain to you why I think that the [00:24:06] administration's claims are [00:24:09] bogus, so let me start off with what's [00:24:13] going on in the economic realm, first of [00:24:17] all the administration is argument that the [00:24:21] blockade coupled with secretary the [00:24:25] treasury bessen policy of [00:24:28] strangling Iran's economy by cutting it [00:24:32] off from its economic dealings [00:24:35] with the rest the world words this two part other words this [00:24:39] two part offensive this two part economic [00:24:42] offensive part one the blockade part two the beson [00:24:46] strategy what's sometimes called operation. [00:24:50] economic outcast [00:24:52] that these two things are uh [00:24:55] throttling the Iranian economy to [00:24:59] the point uh where it is [00:25:02] collapsing, that's the sort of first strand the economic [00:25:05] argument, the second strand the economic argument [00:25:09] is that we in the west are actually doing very well [00:25:13] because large amounts of oil are now [00:25:16] coming out the Persian Gulf and in fact, "there's [00:25:20] almost as much oil now coming out [00:25:24] the Gulf as there was on February 27th, which of course [00:25:28] was the day before the war started, so the [00:25:32] Iranians efforts to shut [00:25:36] down the straight of Hormus have failed uh [00:25:39] and in fact we're basically uh back to point [00:25:43] where uh the flow of oil uh is [00:25:47] coming out at normal rates uh" and this [00:25:51] means that we have time on our time on our side, [00:25:55] there's no need for the United States or the west more generally to Cave [00:25:58] and to Iran, and again the first part the argument is that the Iran [00:26:02] economy on the other hand is in danger of [00:26:06] going off cliff, in fact is about to go off [00:26:10] cliff, so that's the economic argument that the [00:26:13] administration is spending, and again the mainstream media [00:26:16] tells time after time, then there's the [00:26:20] military dimension, now it's very important to understand that [00:26:24] nothing is going on of any consequence at [00:26:28] the military level at this point in time, there's no bombing. [00:26:32] campaign on the part the United States or any of its [00:26:35] allies, um, and uh, further [00:26:39] more, there's no evidence that ground forces are going to be [00:26:42] inserted uh, anytime soon, [00:26:45] uh, but what's happening is that the [00:26:49] administration is making a big dealration is making a [00:26:53] big deal out the fact that it is sending [00:26:57] 10,00 more troops to the [00:27:00] Gulf, and... Furthermore, it is moving [00:27:04] into the Gulf. According to the conventional wisdom, there are two [00:27:07] carriers already there, which means that when this new [00:27:11] carrier, this is the USS Teddy Roosevelt, when the [00:27:15] USS Teddy Roosevelt arrives, we'll have three [00:27:18] carriers, the other two carriers, [00:27:20] and I'll talk more about this as we go along, are the USS, George [00:27:24] Washington, and uh, the USS, George [00:27:28] H.W. Bush, so with the addition the Roosevelt, [00:27:32] have three carriers, which is a formidable strike force, so the [00:27:36] argument goes. addition, and addition, [00:27:40] you're introducing 10,00 more troops [00:27:43] into the region, and there are already [00:27:47] about 50,000 troops in the region, so [00:27:51] 10,00 more troops plus the 50,000 troops that are [00:27:54] there means that you will have about 60,000 troops [00:27:58] in the region, and uh, you will have, three [00:28:02] carriers, and the argument is that the United States [00:28:06] will uh countenance using military force [00:28:10] and in fact use military force if necessary after the [00:28:14] mid-term elections, so it'll take some time to get these [00:28:17] additional forces to the Gulf, and once they get there and [00:28:21] everything is set up, this will be after the midterm elections, then [00:28:25] President Trump will be free to use that military [00:28:28] force, both the... [00:28:32] naval air power and the ground power [00:28:36] uh to bring the Iranians to their knees, if that's not [00:28:40] already been done through economic means by that [00:28:44] point in time. so what do we make [00:28:48] of this propaganda campaign? effort by the administration to spin, [00:28:52] effort by the administration to spin a story [00:28:55] that Iran is in deep trouble and we're a [00:28:59] position where we can finish it off both economically and [00:29:02] militarilly uh, [00:29:04] as I said, I think the story is deeply flawed, and let me explain to you [00:29:08] why, and let me, and let [00:29:11] me start with the military part the [00:29:15] story, and let me start with the [00:29:19] business, with the business about the carriers [00:29:23] and the air power that will becos that [00:29:26] will finish off Iran [00:29:29] after the midterm elections. first question you [00:29:33] want to ask yourself is if we had a [00:29:36] 40-day strategic bombing campaign April [00:29:40] 8th and it failed, why does anybody [00:29:44] think that this new strategic bombing [00:29:47] campaign which is going to come with the addition of [00:29:50] carriers to the Gulf is going to bring the [00:29:53] Iranians to their knees? I mean, how do you get [00:29:57] a military victory this time when you couldn't get it in the 40-day [00:30:01] campaign? "the other point, which is of enormous importance, [00:30:05] is that almost everybody agrees that we have a munitions [00:30:08] crisis, uh, and one the reasons that the [00:30:11] United States is not now engaged in bombing [00:30:15] Iran or engaging in titfertat [00:30:19] strikes with the Iranians, is because we have a significant [00:30:23] shortage of munitions, so the question you want to ask yourself [00:30:27] is how are we going to..."
