[00:00:49] of of [00:00:52] of Good evening [00:00:56] from Tehran, I am Bahman Roy and this is Press TV [00:00:58] a news. of Iran's [00:01:01] of Islamic of Revolution Guards Core says a Rogue crude oil super tanker has [00:01:04] caught fire after striking seamine in the straight of Formus. The [00:01:08] IRGC Navy said the non-complint crude super tanker [00:01:12] suffered an engine room explosion in the southern sector [00:01:15] of the water bay. It said the vessel turned off all [00:01:18] identification and navigation systems before attempting [00:01:21] to pass through unauthorized waters. This marks the third [00:01:25] roke tanker since yesterday to strike naval mines and catch [00:01:29] fire. attempting illegal transit, the IRGC Navy [00:01:33] reiterated that any vessel operating in the straight of hormos with [00:01:36] disapled navigation systems will be classified as hostile [00:01:40] target and face decisive counter [00:01:43] measures. [00:01:47] in Iran's top security official tells Press TV an exclusive [00:01:50] interview that the US has suffered defeat after defeat against [00:01:54] Iran and that is why Washington has turned to economic war [00:01:58] against the country. [00:02:09] of [00:02:16] of [00:02:30] Even to end the board, the secretary [00:02:32] of the Supreme National Security Council says an end is in the hands [00:02:35] of Iran and they will not stop their resistance until they get what is [00:02:39] rightfully theirs. Razi added that the US is the root [00:02:42] of the problem concerning the straight of [00:02:45] in hormos, the general said Iran seeks management [00:02:47] of the straight to ensure regional [00:02:50] of security, [00:02:50] of especially in the Persian Gulf. He also rejected the US's claim that [00:02:54] it is transporting major amounts of oil through the keep water [00:02:57] bay. The general said the US is only used. [00:03:24] a [00:03:25] of [00:03:30] Secondly, over [00:03:30] a the past few [00:03:31] of months, we have been hitting five [00:03:33] of the ships used by smugglers every night. The sendcom [00:03:37] commander leads the smuggling work. He also uses [00:03:41] the UAE's military. They use five or six small [00:03:44] vessels for transportation of oil to larger tankers, but [00:03:48] we also hit five or six [00:03:50] of them every night. This is smuggling job along the southern [00:03:53] side [00:03:54] of the straight that costs dearly and has numerous risks. [00:03:58] Then Trump says the straight is open. Then again, he says, I [00:04:02] transport oil, but natural gas is not transiting, the [00:04:05] same goes for helium and [00:04:07] fertilizers. [00:04:11] Also war that American [00:04:13] a assets, including key data and AI centers will be struck if the [00:04:17] US vages another act of aggression against Iran. He said Iran [00:04:20] still has untouched targets in the UAE and [00:04:23] a straight of musda will be hit in case of new aggression. He said [00:04:27] those targets are worth nearly two trillion dollars. and formed the beating [00:04:31] heart [00:04:31] of the US's [00:04:32] economy. [00:04:36] The Yemen Armed forces spokes person says a major wave of [00:04:40] long-range missile and drone strikes has targeted key airports and [00:04:43] energy infrastructure across Saudi [00:04:45] Arabia. [00:04:49] The armed forces carried out for qualitative operations in the past 24 [00:04:53] hours using ballistic and cruise missiles and drones. The [00:04:57] first operation targeted in three phases king. international airport in [00:05:01] Riad, resulting in the disruption of air traffic and the complete closure [00:05:05] of the airport. The second operation targeted the sugar dam [00:05:08] gas facility belonging to Arenco in the eastern province [00:05:11] of [00:05:12] of and resulted. in large fires breaking out at the targeted [00:05:14] site. The third operation targeted the Arenco [00:05:18] tanajib oil refinery in the eastern province and resulted an ignition in [00:05:22] it. The fourth operation targeted King Ford International [00:05:26] Airport in Damma. [00:05:30] Bricateer general Yahya Sari added Yemani forces deployed six [00:05:33] ballistic missiles and two drones against Saudi back troops in Bapal [00:05:37] Mandab. He said the attacks are in response to over 124 [00:05:41] Saudi backed. strikes across Yemen in 24 hours [00:05:45] (24 hours) Yahya Sari reiterated the [00:05:49] warning against using Saudi airports accept them potential [00:05:53] targets. He said operations would continue to escalate under the [00:05:56] principle of escalation for escalation and blockade for [00:06:00] blockade until Saudi military aggression and the siege are brought to an [00:06:04] end. Military and [00:06:08] strategic analyst Ali Hamiah believes Saudi Arabia is losing the war [00:06:11] in Yemen. and is now begging other countries for [00:06:14] help, [00:06:18] the saudis are losing the strategic war, why? because [00:06:22] the yemanies are not in need of water passes or [00:06:26] to pass through babel mandab or somewhere [00:06:30] else, they are the they are very [00:06:33] close to to Africa, they are at the edge of [00:06:37] oman sea, [00:06:39] at the shore of sea, at the shore of oman. red [00:06:43] sea and also the Arabian sea, Saudi [00:06:47] Arabia is in short [00:06:50] strategy, luck of strategy to go into war [00:06:54] against Yemen for exp, [00:06:57] you know they experienced such war for eight years [00:07:00] with huge allies and [00:07:03] more more effective and strongest allies [00:07:07] ever for eight years before, and they did not [00:07:11] succeed, [00:07:11] now they are trying. some mercenaries, they are trying to [00:07:15] help for the triple agreements in Mikistan, [00:07:19] theystan they you know it gets [00:07:23] to port of algilani to send some port of [00:07:26] algilani to send some mercenaries to al yeman to [00:07:30] fight on behalf of Saudi Arabia, so we [00:07:34] see that Saudi Arabia for such [00:07:37] escalation, it's exactly remind us [00:07:40] of what happened during Yemen [00:07:43] supporting gaza saying escalation [00:07:47] against escalation uh airport against [00:07:51] airport and this is exactly what happened and it's [00:07:55] all still the allie, the resistance [00:07:58] ally for the benefits of Palestine against [00:08:02] the abstin allies for the [00:08:06] benefits of [00:08:06] Israel. [00:08:12] responded to American President Donald Trump's call for Ukraine to pick [00:08:16] new [00:08:16] leader. [00:08:20] President Trump said [00:08:23] that um that we need Ukraine needs new president. So first of all [00:08:27] with all respect to president Trump - [00:08:30] it's up to our society, up to our [00:08:34] people to choose one or another [00:08:37] leader. In an [00:08:41] interview with ABC news. Zelensky said, conducting such an [00:08:44] election violates Ukrainian law and constitution, his remarks [00:08:48] came day after Trump said Ukraine needed a new president who would agree [00:08:52] to end the war. The exchange is the latest and long history of tensions [00:08:56] between the two presidents, which previously included a heated oval [00:09:00] office [00:09:00] confrontation. [00:09:06] The American president Donald Trump says Ukraine and Russia have agreed to immediate [00:09:10] energy cease fire. Trump did not. any more details about the [00:09:14] deal, he has both sides to refrain from violating the agreement [00:09:17] though, following Trump's remarks, Ukrainian president Voladimir [00:09:21] Zelensky said he was surprised about the announcement, describing [00:09:25] it as unheard news, but said he would agree to it if his Russian [00:09:29] counterpart did the same. Russian president Vladimir Putin is yet to make [00:09:33] a comment, the deal comes a day after Trump said Moscow agreed to [00:09:36] release 300,000 tons of diesel immediately to the [00:09:40] American and global marketplace estimate. suggest the US could [00:09:44] estimate suggest the US could consume that amount of diesel in [00:09:48] less than 13 hours, raising questions about whether the announcement [00:09:52] is aimed more at influencing the upcoming midterm elections than [00:09:55] addressing the country's actual fuel [00:09:57] needs. [00:10:04] Press TV is Maria Mazar is with me to discuss [00:10:06] this issue of further. Mari I'm very good to have you on this news bulletin. [00:10:09] Well, President Trump has highlighted Russia's promise to release. 300 thous tons [00:10:13] of diesel, while critics question whether this would [00:10:17] meaningfully address US's actual fuel needs, is [00:10:20] Washington prioritizing domestic political gains ahead them? [00:10:25] elections over sustainable solution to the energy [00:10:28] crisis? of course, [00:10:30] I mean that's [00:10:30] a very good question and that's typical America for you, because of [00:10:34] course we have the situation between Russia and Ukraine as [00:10:37] result the US efforts to actually weaken Russia [00:10:41] uh and [00:10:42] the the color revolution of course they had in in Ukraine and trying to [00:10:46] start this war and of course during the course of this war [00:10:50] they you know as [00:10:51] a as result of this war uh they basically put lot of... on [00:10:55] Russia and we saw uh the Russian uh President Putin was not even [00:10:59] allowed to attend the UNGA because of [00:11:02] course uh of this war between Russia and Ukraine that [00:11:06] absolutely did not happen need to happen and did not need to take place [00:11:10] had it not been for the US and NATO and we see [00:11:13] now if if the the problem was really moral [00:11:17] problem if the problem was really ethical problem then [00:11:21] the sanctions on Russia should not have been lifted but we saw just this [00:11:25] Trump actually signed the legislation some three weeks ago, it was only [00:11:29] three weeks ago that he signed legislations to actually [00:11:32] impose more sanctions on countries that buy uh [00:11:36] and import uh diesel from Russia and now he's lifted [00:11:40] those sanctions because of course Trump himself is uh underwater in [00:11:44] 39 states - in 39 states uh [00:11:48] he he wants to vote for the midterm sudden morality doesn't mean anything, [00:11:52] ethics don't mean anything because really if you know Russia. was the aggressor, [00:11:55] then American elections should have had nothing to do with that, but [00:11:59] let's see if that even helps Trump, if that even helps America at [00:12:03] least, because what happens, we're talking about 300 [00:12:07] thousand uh tons of uh basically [00:12:11] tons of diesel a single month. now Trump is saying that that [00:12:14] amount is going to help uh the US and global [00:12:18] markets, but the global markets, they need [00:12:21] about 115 million uh... [00:12:25] tons in tons in a single [00:12:29] month and that that Russia would [00:12:32] provide would be about 11 minutes of a single day uh [00:12:36] and clearly that's not enough, that's about [00:12:39] 5% the US export, [00:12:43] actually daily export and so that might, I [00:12:47] mean in rhetoric it might help and that could be so starting his [00:12:51] media prop so starting his media prop no word uh [00:12:55] from President Putin, no word uh from President Putin, no word uh [00:12:59] from President Putin uh that Trump is, it seems [00:13:02] unilaterally announcing a ceasefire [00:13:05] uh an energy cease fire between the two countries, and of course he [00:13:09] needs that energy cease fire uh on one hand, because [00:13:13] if uh Russian infrastructure is targeted by [00:13:17] Ukraine that that reduces the chance of Russia being able to [00:13:20] provide, but also it's that even if Russia [00:13:24] can provide. It's not enough uh, but Trump's [00:13:27] claims uh Trump's post on uh the uh [00:13:31] you know the social media uh it actually that's a signal to [00:13:34] potential voters to feel better to think that their problems are [00:13:38] solved and [00:13:39] you now of course he's talking about how it's going to help the ranchers [00:13:43] and the farmers who are actually, I mean the [00:13:46] agriculture industry is gonna is taking the hardest hit as result [00:13:50] the fuel prices and of course uh in big [00:13:54] parts the whole country suffering as result the [00:13:57] unprovoked aggression on Iran and so uh what the [00:14:01] US did basically getting the you know with this [00:14:05] war between Ukraine and Russia and then Ukrainian men being hunted [00:14:09] down like animals by Zelensky's men and they're being [00:14:13] sent to the frontlines uh handcuffed because of course they don't want to be [00:14:17] fighting this war because they understand it's an absolutely unnecessary war but [00:14:20] just as Trump started this war now he's saying that Zelanski should [00:14:25] actually target uh Russian infrastructure anymore [00:14:28] and in fact the reports that he has threatened uh [00:14:32] Zelensky saying that uh basically if you target Russian [00:14:36] infrastructure energy infrastructure uh we're going to stop sending you arms [00:14:40] and everybody knows without the US help [00:14:44] Ukraine would not be able to actually stand against Russia a [00:14:47] major military and so this is very much very eye opening for the [00:14:51] world and you know uh it's also very important for [00:14:55] when to do negotiations because of course you know the [00:14:59] US is lifting sanctions on Russia not because Russia [00:15:03] was able to convince the US of anything but because the [00:15:07] US is in hot water so if you want to win negotiations with the US, [00:15:10] just make sure you have the right leverage and you won't even have to talk about [00:15:14] anything, you will win the negotiation if the US is under enough [00:15:18] pressure. Mayam, focusing on this so-called energy [00:15:21] cease fire between the two countries, president says he was [00:15:25] surprised by the announcement, but he would comply if Russia [00:15:28] reciprocates. This just suggest genuine opening for [00:15:32] deescalation between then two countries or could this agreements over the details [00:15:36] and terms the agreement. quickly derailed the [00:15:39] initiative. I mean, considering that the whole problem [00:15:43] that started this, Ukraine Russia war was the [00:15:47] US and NATO, obviously whenever the [00:15:50] arming of Zelinski's forces by the [00:15:54] NATO, by the US stops and whenever, then there [00:15:57] obviously the the conflict would stop, because there was no [00:16:01] conflict, before this, before the color revolution, [00:16:04] before, NATO basically causing. uh this [00:16:08] problem and of course we know that uh lot of people also in Ukraine they [00:16:12] have very close kinship with Russian people, it's not as though they're [00:16:16] very extremely different [00:16:18] you know people, extremely different cultures, it was another [00:16:21] unnecessary war that started because the US needed to [00:16:25] make sure that other powers are not as strong, the [00:16:29] US wanted to weaken Russia uh and to basically for [00:16:33] brushan to not be able to compete, and as result that's... [00:16:38] so naturally, if the US needs this war to be stopped, [00:16:42] the the war would be stopped, if the US will stop arming [00:16:45] Zelensky, then [00:16:47] you know, and of course we know that for the longest time Russia tried to actually not get get [00:16:51] into this war, but that's not what unfortunately the US [00:16:54] allowed for. Maria, joining us from Artron [00:16:58] Studios, thank you so much, Maria. Donald [00:17:02] Trump's announced deal to buy diesel from Russia is not gone down well with [00:17:06] the Americans. Social media reactions reveal growing anger over Trump's [00:17:10] move, especially after his repeated statements insisting that [00:17:14] European countries should stop buying Russian oil. Users on are [00:17:18] arguing that the surge in US fuel prices is the result of Trump's [00:17:21] failed war against Iran, not the war in [00:17:24] Ukraine. [00:17:30] If you're going to win you're going to have to not buy oil from Russia. Europe is, they're [00:17:34] my friends, but they're buying oil from Russia. so we [00:17:38] can't be expected to be the only ones that are full full [00:17:41] bore. I put a 50% tariff on India because [00:17:45] they're buying oil from Russia. I was unhappy with the European [00:17:49] Union or let's say NATO when I saw that they were buying oil [00:17:53] from Russia. So he has to criticize other countries for buying [00:17:56] Russian fuel, because he understands that buying Russian [00:18:00] fuel and means that you're giving feel to Putin, who will then use the [00:18:04] money after selling said oil to buy more weapon? and [00:18:07] manufacture more weapons to then use inside Ukraine, which [00:18:11] then just prolongs the war, so he understands the concept, but he [00:18:15] doesn't want to follow his own [00:18:16] words. [00:18:20] so it turns out Trump's plan to buy Russian diesel is blatantly illegal. [00:18:24] There's the law right below, and it basically says, it can't [00:18:28] happen until Congress certifies with 30 days notice that the [00:18:32] war in Ukraine is over, which is absolutely not. This is how [00:18:36] stupid they are. Trump is evil, this is [00:18:39] absurd, and there are all a bunch of damn traits, because remember, we're at [00:18:43] war with Iran, and the Iranians are using Russian satellite [00:18:47] intelligence to kill American [00:18:49] soldiers. [00:18:56] Russia attacked Ukraine for years and a half ago. Russian oil was [00:19:00] sanctioned since then, prices of diesel were fine in America, prices [00:19:04] went up only after the war in Iran started. Stop blaming [00:19:08] Ukraine, blame Trump and [00:19:09] Corporations. [00:19:15] It's a massive amount of massive oil coming into our country, and it's [00:19:19] diesel. It's actually 300,00 tons. The [00:19:23] US uses 500 thousand tons per day, so it's about [00:19:27] 16 massive our [00:19:28] supply. [00:19:33] Trump is making American taxpayers send cash to Putin, no [00:19:37] diesel. fuel will ever come from Russia, prices in the US [00:19:40] won't go down because the cause of fuel inflation is Trump's disastrous [00:19:44] war against [00:19:45] Iran. [00:19:50] Russia and Ukraine have been at war for years and diesel prices didn't [00:19:54] hit record highs until after Trump attacked [00:19:56] Iran. [00:20:02] Trump got 300 thousand tons of diesel from Putin, that's [00:20:06] 2.5 million. barrels, the US consumes [00:20:10] 3.5 to for million barrels of diesel a day. [00:20:13] Trump got one half a day's worth of diesel off Putin, paying more for [00:20:17] fuel so Israel can kill its neighbors. Isn't something I'm interested [00:20:20] in? [00:20:28] The European Commission has presented new integration road maps for [00:20:32] four candidate nations, for four candidate nations, but [00:20:36] Georgia has been left. out of domain document, EU en large [00:20:40] stated that Georgia currently remains the candidate only on [00:20:43] paper drawing sharp criticism from leaders in [00:20:46] Tability. [00:20:50] reports, [00:20:57] the European Commission published its pre-enlargement policy review [00:21:00] outlining steps to gradually integrate candidate countries into EU [00:21:04] structures prior to full membership. While concrete road maps were [00:21:08] drawn up to Montenegro, Albania, Moldova and Ukraine, the [00:21:12] primary 25 page document made no mention of Georgia. [00:21:15] Georgia has always been part of Europe. We, Georgian people, are [00:21:19] European. It's unfortunate that we aren't recognized among EU candidate [00:21:23] nations and that needs to change. An accompanying working document [00:21:27] confirmed that while Georgia technically retains its formal candidate [00:21:31] status, its accession process has been defacto halted. European [00:21:34] officials points to legislative steps taken in Tibilises [00:21:38] 2024 and law foreign policy alignments as key reasons [00:21:42] behind the stand still. Georgia has always been a member the European [00:21:46] Union, everything else is just a formality. [00:21:50] holding georgian dream party swiftly pushed back against Brussels, framing the [00:21:54] criticism as political pressure that undermines national [00:21:57] sovereinity. officials argued that economic performance and domestic [00:22:01] stability take priority, stating that Georgia six European [00:22:04] integration with dignity rather than compliance any [00:22:08] cost. I just heard Georgia isn't on the EU candidate [00:22:11] list. Personally, I don't think we care or need it. Having [00:22:15] lived in Europe, I moved back to Georgia escape their strict tax and [00:22:19] business. regulations and high expenses here, doing business is [00:22:23] simple and our potential for growth is much better, [00:22:27] we shouldn't focus on the EU. As candidate countries like [00:22:31] Moldova and Ukraine advance along the accession path, the widen [00:22:34] policy gap between Brussel's highlights a fundamental [00:22:38] disagreement over the terms of Georgia's European [00:22:41] integration. [00:22:47] And that brings us to the end of this news bulletin. Thank you so much for staying with us on [00:22:51] Press TV, thank [00:22:54] you. [00:23:15] One morning, the balance of power in West Asia was [00:23:18] shattered. October 7th was not simply another day [00:23:22] of war. It was the moment, decades of assumptions, [00:23:26] alliances and security doctrines began to [00:23:29] collapse. [00:23:37] And as the battlefield expanded from Gaza to the heart the [00:23:40] region, one question became impossible to [00:23:43] ignore: what was Iran prepared to risk, and how [00:23:47] far would it go for Palestine? Dr. Mohsen Razay, [00:27:07] welcome to the program. Thank you, I appreciate it. [00:27:10] Thank you so much for joining us. My first question, given the fact that you have a [00:27:14] military background concerns the fact that there's a [00:27:18] amassment of troops that's building in the straight of hormos and the [00:27:22] Persian Gulf area in particular. The US is [00:27:25] claiming through various reports that it may go through [00:27:29] with attack on the Islamic Republic. [00:27:33] However, the numbers don't add up in terms of what's been [00:27:36] analysed uh as what's required for for example a [00:27:40] ground operation? give us your overview of what [00:27:44] you think about the fact that the US is amassing its military arsenal [00:27:48] along with the troop deployment, possible troop [00:27:51] deployment to the region for possible attack on [00:27:54] Iran. Bisم الله الرحمن [00:27:57] الرحیم. حمله آمریکا به [00:28:00] ایران. [00:28:11] Iran was one the most foolish wars in human history, it was [00:28:14] unjust and extremely vicious war waged an [00:28:18] inhumane manner against Iran. Donald Trump's administration [00:28:22] blindly handed over the rains to Netanyahu, along when [00:28:26] Netanyahu's uneducated secretary of [00:28:29] war, Mr. Pete Hagzeth and his. secretary of [00:28:33] state who has mistaken the state of department for the [00:28:37] FBI, they entered a war with Iran without making a [00:28:41] proper assessment or carrying out precise calculations, [00:28:44] they thought they could bring the war to an end a short period of [00:28:48] time, allowing Donald Trump to be celebrated as one [00:28:52] the great heroes of American history and have his [00:28:56] name written into the history books, now [00:28:59] because of that same foolishness. they cannot find [00:29:03] a way out of this war, they need sensible people in [00:29:07] America to step in, take them by the hand [00:29:11] and lead them out of this, otherwise their own recklessness [00:29:15] will prevent them from finding a proper way to end this [00:29:18] war. From the very beginning, however, we had made our own [00:29:22] calculations for this war and adopted the right [00:29:25] approach for managing it, we thought things [00:29:29] through and adjusted our military. posture in [00:29:33] line with how the war was developing. now because [00:29:37] of that same foolishness, they cannot find a way out of this [00:29:40] war. they need sensible people in America to step in, take them [00:29:44] by the hand and lead them out of this, otherwise their own [00:29:48] recklessness will prevent them from finding a proper way to end the [00:29:52] war. from the very beginning, however, we had made our own [00:29:56] calculations for this war and adopted the right approach to [00:30:00] manage it. we thought things. through and adjusted [00:30:03] our military posture in line with how the war was [00:30:07] developing, for example, during the 12-day war, we [00:30:10] revealed only very small portion of our [00:30:14] capabilities, as result we did not deploy many of [00:30:18] our resources during those first 12 days, we [00:30:21] saw to demonstrate and use more of our [00:30:25] capabilities as the United States escalated this [00:30:28] war, the 40-day war was different, we brought... far [00:30:32] more resources into the field and
