[00:26:28] terrorist group have?
[00:26:32] We observe that a situation that was already quite difficult
[00:26:36] worsened as these advances of the
[00:26:40] Houthis under Bab-el-Mandeb, this
[00:26:43] threat often allows
[00:26:46] the interpretation that two maritime choke points are
[00:26:49] transformed into instruments of the same regional war. We already
[00:26:53] had the part of the Strait of
[00:26:56] Hormuz with difficulty of access corresponding to about
[00:26:59] 20% of the oil trade.
[00:27:03] Now we have another
[00:27:06] access that corresponds to half of that,
[00:27:09] more or less depending on the estimates, around 10%. In this

[00:28:10] there are meetings, but that this decision to take

[00:28:55] consolidate control of
[00:28:58] Bab-el-Mandeb, they could threaten a
[00:29:01] second fundamental passage, reducing
[00:29:04] the energy flow, increasing pressure on international
[00:29:07] oil prices. The risk there is not just in closing a
[00:29:11] route, it is often in forcing ships,
[00:29:15] insurance companies, markets to treat these two strategic
[00:29:17] outlets as a war zone. The strategic
[00:29:21] design becomes broader: Iran
[00:29:24] exerts pressure in Hormuz while its allies are
[00:29:28] gaining ground in Bab-el-Mandeb. In this
[00:29:31] new battle for maritime
[00:29:34] corridors, controlling an island can be worth
[00:29:38] as much as often conquering a city. If the Houthis
[00:29:41] consolidate this position, Kelly, the Red
[00:29:44] Sea will cease to be just an alternative to the Gulf and
[00:29:48] could become the second bottleneck of the same crisis,
