[00:00:08] I don't know if the question refers to a political campaign, we need regulation to prevent dark posts, you use a political opponent, you take Marcelo speaking and manipulate [00:00:11] his voice, make him say something he didn't say, this is a serious crime and there must be [00:00:15] some kind of regulation, quickly, increased taxation [00:00:19] of bets, yes, I think bets should be prohibited because they have [00:00:23] caused a lot of harm to people's mental health, not just taxing, but limiting [00:00:27] their operation because it is too harmful to Brazilian [00:00:30] families, candidate, there's one minute left, your final considerations, [00:00:33] well, thank you, Bianca and Marcelo, it's a shame that time is so [00:00:37] short for everyone, we can't talk much, but I'm happy for the opportunity, for the space [00:00:41] and even happier to be able to once again compete for an [00:00:44] important position, the position of senator of the republic, representing the [00:00:48] state of Ceará, there will undoubtedly not only enhance my [00:00:51] resume, but also allow me to continue my history, a clean record councilman, [00:00:55] clean record state deputy, clean record federal deputy as well, [00:00:59] I want to be not just a... clean record senator, but an extremely [00:01:02] responsible senator to fight for resources for the state of Ceará, a [00:01:06] senator who has the courage to confront and toughen [00:01:08] legislation against factions, and above all, a [00:01:12] senator who has the courage to confront those [00:01:16] STF ministers who have abused power, who have used their [00:01:19] strength, even to commit crimes, imagining that [00:01:22] they will never be punished, that's why I ask for your vote on October 4th [00:01:26] for governor Ciro Gomes 45, my brother senator. [00:01:29] Fernandes 222 and Captain Wagner, senator also [00:01:32] 445. [00:01:38] And residents of Jardim Pantanal in the east zone of São [00:01:41] Paulo have been suffering for two days with floods after [00:01:45] a weekend of heavy rain in the capital of São Paulo. [00:01:49] Jardim Pantanal is located in a floodplain [00:01:52] area of the Tietê river. That's why it is constantly [00:01:56] affected by the rains. When the water volume of the river [00:02:00] increases, it can overflow and reach the region. [00:02:04] The problem usually increases in summer and is not so [00:02:08] live with the common in September, as the neighborhood is in a lower [00:02:11] area, the water has difficulty draining and ends up [00:02:14] causing the floods. According to [00:02:17] residents, the neighborhood underwent work in [00:02:20] August this year, but the [00:02:23] intervention was not enough to solve the [00:02:26] problem. In a note, the São Paulo city hall informed that [00:02:30] since December of last year, [00:02:32] 789 families have already been [00:02:36] removed from risk areas. The municipal [00:02:39] administration also states that the region receives almost [00:02:43] R$ 60 million in drainage, [00:02:47] paving and containment works for the [00:02:49] Tietê River. The city hall also says that teams are [00:02:53] pumping water from the streets and that [00:02:56] the roads will be cleaned after drainage. [00:03:05] Time for international affairs with Gabriela Torre who is already here in the studio [00:03:09] with us, welcome Gabriel. Well, I'm going to start by talking about [00:03:13] a passenger ferry that sank during a [00:03:16] storm in the Java Sea which is in Indonesia. Rescue [00:03:19] teams are looking for 129 people who [00:03:23] are missing at the moment. So far, [00:03:26] 108 have been rescued, six have died. In total [00:03:30] 243 people were on board this vessel that we are going to [00:03:34] show, called Virgo Transport 8, which then [00:03:37] traveled between Surabaya, which is on the island of [00:03:41] Java, to Banjar Mazin, which is in [00:03:44] Borneo, when contact with the [00:03:47] vessel was completely lost around [00:03:50] 2 am local time, the captain had [00:03:53] reported moments earlier a very [00:03:57] rough sea, with waves of up to 3 meters [00:04:00] high and said that the ship was not great, that it was [00:04:03] a little unstable, so the searches began immediately [00:04:07] with boats, helicopters, including these [00:04:10] images we are seeing are images from a helicopter, mainly from the rescue [00:04:14] teams who have already captured that impressive image, [00:04:18] the boat, the vessel completely [00:04:21] shipwrecked, so the specialized teams started to move to the [00:04:25] last known position, [00:04:28] which was known there moments before they lost that [00:04:32] communication, it's about 150 [00:04:35] km from the coast, and the [00:04:38] tugboats, other rescue teams, vessels that [00:04:41] were in the region also began to help remove these [00:04:45] survivors from the water, including these images we can see some [00:04:48] boats, including these [00:04:51] teams that managed to rescue all these people alive, [00:04:55] without serious injuries, it is indeed a video that [00:04:59] we can see that... it is showing all these people who were [00:05:02] there, anyway, they went through first aid there, if [00:05:05] they had any kind of [00:05:09] injury, but anyway they were fine, right? without [00:05:12] serious injuries, so the authorities are now trying to understand [00:05:16] exactly what might have caused this shipwreck and [00:05:19] are also maintaining all the search and [00:05:23] rescue operations in the region. The accident once again draws a lot of attention [00:05:27] to the risk of maritime transport, especially when we [00:05:30] talk about that part of Asia, right, Indonesia and all that. This [00:05:34] is because with over 17 thousand islands, the country relies on [00:05:37] ferries to connect different regions, but registers [00:05:41] accidents much more frequently than we see, [00:05:44] so even when we talk mainly about fires and [00:05:48] shipwrecks associated with adverse weather conditions [00:05:51] and also problems in complying with safety [00:05:54] standards, and this tragedy that we just talked about, this [00:05:58] ferry in Indonesia happens just days after we even talked last [00:06:02] week here on Link News about another serious [00:06:06] accident that happened in the region, right, a passenger ferry caught fire [00:06:09] there in the Philippines, which is near... leaving at least [00:06:13] 76 dead, so [00:06:16] all these teams continue working [00:06:20] against time, right, to find the missing [00:06:23] and also to increase the number of [00:06:31] Barbican conservatory, located in London, United [00:06:35] Kingdom, became for one day a kind of maternity ward for [00:06:38] plants, hundreds of people participated in a different event. [00:06:42] There in the region, surrounded by adoption, they [00:06:46] were also able to take home some seedlings grown within this [00:06:49] very winter garden before the space closed for a [00:06:53] major renovation that will take a long time, but it's not enough [00:06:56] to just choose the most beautiful plant there, this event chooses [00:07:00] the future plant parents, as people jokingly say [00:07:04] here in Brazil, they actually had to fill [00:07:07] out a form to explain or even [00:07:10] draw for these people who were choosing, where [00:07:14] this seedling would stay in their house, of these [00:07:17] people, it was also necessary to commit to [00:07:21] taking care of it, with guidance on water, humidity, [00:07:24] amount of light, [00:07:27] all very correct for this plant to survive, in total [00:07:30] 500 seedlings were prepared there for adoption, among them [00:07:34] were species like Monstera Deliciosa, spider plant and even [00:07:37] Sagittaria, which are very famous known species, and each [00:07:41] one got a new name, especially when [00:07:45] it comes to a new home, so the idea was created in [00:07:48] partnership with an organization called Wayward [00:07:51] Plants, which formed all this removal of the [00:07:55] seedlings, including all in experience and care [00:07:59] and also connection, so instead of [00:08:02] simply selling, the event proposed that people create a [00:08:06] kind of relationship with that small piece of the place that [00:08:09] is on top of a brutalist complex, we say brutalist because [00:08:13] it's full of stone, so you rarely see [00:08:16] any vegetation or plants, a green area [00:08:20] like this, it brings together about 800 species [00:08:23] in this place that is really full, it looks [00:08:27] like when we see it, it's some green place in the middle of the [00:08:30] stone city, right, it's the same thing there, including some [00:08:33] endangered species among all these [00:08:36] species, the space is also one of the most beloved spots by [00:08:40] Londoners, so people gather there to have a coffee. to chat, right, [00:08:44] including this image we're seeing of one of the people who managed to get one of these seedlings [00:08:47] and already put it in her house in a very pretty [00:08:51] and pleasant way, but this urban jungle also feels the [00:08:54] effects of climate change, it's worth remembering that during the summer some [00:08:58] installations suffered from intense heat, in addition to the [00:09:01] limitations of an old infrastructure, now the [00:09:05] conservatory will undergo a major renovation, it will take [00:09:08] some time to be ready, but now the parents [00:09:12] and... plants, they took home a small souvenir of this iconic [00:09:16] place, so for those who live there, the relationship is even more [00:09:19] special, especially when we talk about one of the residents who [00:09:23] said she can now look at the plant [00:09:27] and see it growing little by little, while the [00:09:30] complex undergoes renovations, it's as if for her [00:09:34] it's taking a piece of the Barbican home, [00:09:36] so while the garden prepares to [00:09:39] return renewed, with some [00:09:43] of its plants already starting a new [00:09:47] life, especially when we talk about these people who [00:09:51] decided to continue their planting, especially when [00:09:54] we talk about those [00:12:19] to a quick break and will be [00:12:21] right back. [00:12:25] Hello, the advance of the decree that deals with bio-inputs is one of the highlights [00:12:29] of this Tuesday's Record News Rural. Brazil is even a reference in [00:12:33] its use, and there's news. The federal government has finished the draft [00:12:36] regulation of the law that reorganizes the regulatory framework for [00:12:40] biological products used in Brazilian agriculture. About this, I [00:12:43] talk to economist Ricardo Buso. We also talk about [00:12:47] how the rains favor the sowing of soybeans and sustain [00:12:51] prices here in the country. Don't miss it, Record News Rural airs [00:12:55] at 6 and 7:30 in the morning, I'll wait for you, see [00:12:58] you there. [00:13:05] I call Gustavo Toledo back to participate in Link News, hi [00:13:08] Gustavo, good evening to [00:13:10] you. [00:13:16] Good evening, Isa, good evening to everyone who follows Link News, which continues [00:13:19] talking about elections, today we talk to Márcio França [00:13:23] from PSB, candidate for vice-governor in São Paulo [00:13:27] on the ticket headed by Fernando Haddad. França was [00:13:30] vice-governor to Geraldo Alcom and took over Palácio dos Bandeirantes in [00:13:34] 2018, after Alcomin's resignation to run for president of the [00:13:38] Republic. Between 2023 and 2026, he was minister of [00:13:42] entrepreneurship, of micro and small [00:13:45] businesses in Lula's government. The interview will be 30 [00:13:48] minutes long, with 29 for questions and answers and the last minute [00:13:52] for final considerations. First of [00:13:55] all, candidate, a great evening, thank you for participating [00:13:59] here with us on Record News. Thank you for the opportunity, it's [00:14:03] always good to come back to Record and now with Record [00:14:06] News we have the opportunity to talk to people. Candidate, I will now start [00:14:10] the 29 minutes of our interview and I start by [00:14:14] asking you: the position of vice-governor does not have a [00:14:17] fixed function, eh, besides succeeding the [00:14:20] incumbent. In a possible Haddad administration, what role do [00:14:23] you intend to take? a portfolio, a specific mission, did [00:14:27] you talk to Haddad about what your [00:14:31] concrete attribution would be in this possible [00:14:34] government? No, I did not talk, [00:14:36] because yes, I have already been vice-governor and governor, [00:14:40] right? We have a certain, [00:14:43] same age, I think he is the same age as [00:14:47] me, but I have the advantage of having already had [00:14:51] this opportunity, right? So I was secretary of [00:14:54] different passes, so I lived here with the [00:14:57] government of São Paulo, which is a fabulous machine, a cool [00:15:00] state, by the way I take this [00:15:04] chance that you give us, you [00:15:07] here to note to the [00:15:11] viewer that both Governor [00:15:14] Tarciso and Vice Felício have [00:15:18] avoided going to any debate or any interview, [00:15:21] a style that in my opinion is [00:15:25] mistaken, because whoever goes there, shows what they did, the way they [00:15:29] did it, is better than not [00:15:32] talking, right, so it's always important to go and let [00:15:36] people eh... question you. [00:15:39] Candidate, you spoke about your time at the [00:15:42] palace, eh, you built a good part of your career alongside [00:15:46] Geraldo Alkmin, in the former base of the PSDB, today [00:15:49] you are part of a PT ticket with Haddad. How do you explain [00:15:53] this convergence to the voter? What brought your São [00:15:57] Paulo project closer to Haddad's project? In [00:16:01] our case, at least for me, I only had one party in my [00:16:04] life, which was the PSB, I've been a member here since I was 18, so [00:16:08] you see it's almost 40, 45 years [00:16:12] of affiliation, my only party, we've always been [00:16:15] a certain amalgam between positions linked to [00:16:18] the PSDB style, with a bit of [00:16:21] PT, we used to make this [00:16:24] intermediate thing, I used to tell the PT that one day they [00:16:28] would regret hindering [00:16:31] or speaking so badly of Alkmin, anyway, because Alcomin is a person [00:16:34] of a very strong character, very [00:16:38] serious and at the same time very dedicated, right, and it was a [00:16:42] surprise for many people, but when there was that [00:16:45] passage where Doria practically helped [00:16:48] destroy and end the party in São Paulo, Geraldo [00:16:52] ended up accepting the invitation, he came to join the PSB, [00:16:56] I suggested to President Lula that he accept a [00:16:59] novelty, which was a novelty, someone who [00:17:02] thought differently from what they think in some [00:17:05] things, but has a fundamental mark. Which is the mark [00:17:08] of the question of respect for democratic [00:17:11] decisions, this is what basically unites [00:17:15] us, right? I mean, Lula lost the election, won the [00:17:18] election, I also lost the election, won the election, but you respect the [00:17:22] result, right? We always say that imagine if [00:17:26] Bolsonaro lost the election, those guys had the [00:17:29] audacity to go there and break things in Brasília, if [00:17:33] they had won, then they would have set the world on fire, right? So this thing. [00:17:37] It's about respecting the result, it's a [00:17:40] prerequisite, you won't win all of them, right? You have to learn to [00:17:46] diversity that others win the elections, and I think [00:17:49] they did that very well, it became concave and convex there, [00:17:53] because although they have very different styles, today [00:17:57] Lula and Alcomin get along very well and I think this partnership has been important [00:18:00] and now renewed, right? That is, [00:18:04] the proposal for renewal of the two again, Lula is [00:18:08] older than Alcomin, he is more experienced, 10 years [00:18:11] older, but Alcomin also has the experience of having been [00:18:14] governor of São Paulo four times, which is a record that hardly [00:18:18] anyone will beat, right? Speaking [00:18:21] now about the city of São Paulo, or rather, about the state of São Paulo, [00:18:24] security is, of course, the greatest anguish of the Paulistas [00:18:28] and is a constitutional competence of the state. What is [00:18:31] the security model that your ticket proposes, how does it [00:18:35] differ in practice from the policy adopted by the current [00:18:39] administration? And the current administration, I would say [00:18:42] that Tarciso, first, he doesn't, he [00:18:46] has a military background because he was in the army, [00:18:49] anyway, but the military of the armed forces have little [00:18:53] relationship with public security [00:18:56] because they live in a different environment that is not a war preparation environment, [00:19:00] it is not the same day-to-day environment of a military police officer, of a [00:19:04] civil police officer, anyway, and in my opinion he did very badly [00:19:07] in security, the feeling of insecurity in São Paulo is [00:19:11] very strong, a young woman today doesn't leave home, she's afraid, all [00:19:15] the time people feel insecure, cell phone thefts, all the numbers [00:19:19] practically dropped, we don't even trust the [00:19:22] numbers, because part of these numbers are not openly [00:19:26] disclosed, right? He had an initial [00:19:29] placement which was that attempt, as soon as he took over the government of [00:19:33] São Paulo, Tarcísio, he carried out an operation on the coast of Santos, next to me, [00:19:36] which ended up creating a mark for him, in quotation marks, [00:19:40] positive, but which in my view is a misguided [00:19:44] vision, you go there, set fire, kill 15, 20, [00:19:47] 50, eh, the next [00:19:51] day another 50 appear, the great [00:19:54] solution for public security, Haddad adopted this [00:19:57] as a system, it's a program that allows young people at [00:20:01] 18 years old to enlist in the armed forces and be [00:20:05] discharged, which is the vast majority, you recruit [00:20:08] this person for civil public enlistment, I did this [00:20:12] when I was mayor, I did this when I was governor in those [00:20:15] few months, with over 20,000 young people [00:20:18] and automatically you compete with criminal [00:20:22] factions, the young man who is [00:20:25] in doubt at 17, 18 years old, he doesn't know [00:20:29] eh, well, he needs some things financially, he sees everyone having [00:20:33] things, he doesn't have them, so he comes to work with us for a year, he is [00:20:37] obliged to go back to study, do a technical course and [00:20:40] have a life path, it's a much more social program [00:20:44] than a police one, but in practice it [00:20:48] involves a lot of people, so for example here in the state... of São Paulo, we could easily reach [00:20:51] over 100,000 young people, for you to have an idea, São Paulo military police [00:20:55] has 80,000 men, so if you take the [00:20:59] men who are in the military police and cut them, because they have to work 12 on, [00:21:02] 36 off, all the time there aren't many people on [00:21:06] the street, because you can't have a person on every corner, right, the [00:21:09] young people, in fact, we keep bailing out water, because [00:21:13] this production of young people who don't have adequate guidance, who often [00:21:17] don't have a father at home, who don't have a religion, who are behind in [00:21:20] school, this vulnerable young man, he is a [00:21:24] full plate of options for the wrong [00:21:27] side, we compete for this young man, this gave a result, in [00:21:31] my case in the city of São Vicente, a big city, it was the most violent city [00:21:34] in the state of São Paulo, in one year it passed, it wasn't even [00:21:38] among the top 100, so you see that this has an immediate [00:21:42] impact, right, but it's a completely different logic, and our political [00:21:46] field has a lot of divergence because people think, oh, but you're [00:21:49] going to... make a military school, so this is military school, this [00:21:53] is a, it's a silly debate, because we don't have to [00:21:56] defend anyone's wrong things, right, and of course, no one [00:22:00] will like to see the boys being recruited, recruited by [00:22:03] organized crime, they are recruited because they have no [00:22:06] opportunity, I want to talk now, you spoke about the military police, about [00:22:10] precisely the body cameras that are pointed out as responsible for [00:22:14] reducing police lethality by more than [00:22:16] 60%. But the recording is now activated [00:22:20] manually in this administration, in a government, a possible Haddad [00:22:23] and França government, what would be your policy for the military [00:22:27] police cameras? The camera must be electronically activated, [00:22:30] Haddad has already said this and I think it is correct, it is necessary that [00:22:34] we also do not make the camera the solution for everything, [00:22:38] because in some details the camera can [00:22:42] create embarrassment, for example, a female military [00:22:45] police officer who goes to the toilet, the camera is [00:22:49] on, she is not obliged to be exposed there with the camera on [00:22:52] evidently, so there must be some mechanism of activation, [00:22:56] right, but the camera anyway served to [00:22:58] decrease this eagerness, but believe [00:23:02] me, when you have the command that has authority that you [00:23:06] can make people feel [00:23:09] useful, it improves without needing so much violence, it's just that [00:23:12] there was an orientation from the government itself, look, go there, shoot [00:23:16] in the head, kill I don't know what, the people down there... [00:23:20] will accumulate these functions, then in the [00:23:23] end it's the military police officer who suffers, because whoever will [00:23:27] answer the process is him, whoever will be arrested is him, because you never see a commander [00:23:30] afterwards, or the other, anyway, and for the first time the São Paulo military police [00:23:34] is so on the bottom of everything, together with the civil police, [00:23:38] correctional police, because they have [00:23:42] the lowest salaries in Brazil and do not have [00:23:45] minimal recognition from the government itself, meaning they managed [00:23:49] to make... Yes, even this connection of [00:23:53] criminal factions into the commands of [00:23:56] these corporations ended up being something that in São Paulo is a novelty, it never [00:24:00] happened that people from the high echelons of the police [00:24:04] were involved with organized crime. Tarcisio brought [00:24:08] this here too, it was another inauguration of the things he managed [00:24:11] to bring to São Paulo. You talked about criminal organizations, I wanted to talk then [00:24:14] precisely about the PCC that was born and strengthened here in the prisons [00:24:18] of São Paulo. The PEC of public security approved in the chamber and [00:24:22] advancing in the senate, creates then this tougher penal regime [00:24:25] for faction leaders, maximum security prison, confiscation [00:24:29] of assets, in short, of benefits, among other points of the [00:24:33] PEC, I wanted your evaluation, do you support this [00:24:36] hardening as a candidate for vice in the state that is precisely the birthplace [00:24:40] of the PCC, what does your ticket offer [00:24:43] that goes beyond filling prisons that the faction itself [00:24:47] will then use precisely to recruit? "if [00:24:50] we win the election Haddad implements [00:24:54] civil enlistment with force, which is [00:24:57] really what suffocates the [00:25:00] faction, eh, it not having the vulnerable workforce of [00:25:04] young people, eh, you directly enter, young people aged [00:25:07] 18, 17, 19, are the boys [00:25:11] who are in that crucial decision of life, [00:25:15] if they go this way, or that way, if he doesn't have [00:25:18] opportunity, he ends up being..." [00:25:20] chosen, so it's a real dispute and we are the state, we will not lose, [00:25:24] we are the state, now eh, that's not what [00:25:27] is done, you people have the feeling that they will do this eh [00:25:31] by doing eh eliminating people, you can't eliminate [00:25:34] all people, we have 200,000 prisoners in the state of São Paulo, right, [00:25:38] the United States has 2 million prisoners, we are going to arrest everyone [00:25:42] everywhere, eh, we have to make these people [00:25:45] have other life options and in this special case I am in favor [00:25:49] of... hardening the relations with the penalties, right, just [00:25:53] now there's a case where that guy, the park maniac, [00:25:56] is now va his term to be [00:25:59] released has arrived, right, there are people who shouldn't be... released ever [00:26:03] because they have psychiatric problems that will not have [00:26:07] a solution for them, right, probably, I'm not a doctor, but [00:26:10] probably there will be no solution. If he does it once, twice, three times, 50 times, it will [00:26:14] not have a solution. But it's different for a 15, 16, 17 year old kid who [00:26:18] sometimes goes to a party, thinks he's being super cool, goes with [00:26:22] friends, then finds himself in the middle of a huge mess, then you [00:26:25] know, many people go to these police stations and [00:26:29] go to these prisons, then my friend, there it's a... billion of [00:26:33] confusions, there's no one to give you the minimum attention and [00:26:36] not even minimally your correct defense, so [00:26:39] it's like this, it's a door to [00:26:43] hell that opens and just so you have an idea, [00:26:47] a young man today who goes to Fundação Casa, he [00:26:51] consumes from us, from me, from you, from everyone, from you [00:26:53] viewer, more than R$ 20,000 per month for [00:26:57] him to be there. If we had spent 100 on [00:27:00] him, when he was 17, 18 years old, for him to have a job, he wouldn't [00:27:04] spend 20 later on, right? So it's the type of money, besides [00:27:08] everything, stupid, it's money that you use and in reality it's [00:27:12] just eh wiping up this spilled water. To close this [00:27:15] security topic, I wanted to talk precisely about how the United States decided to treat [00:27:19] the PCC, right, as a terrorist organization. There are those who [00:27:22] defend that Brazil should do the same, I wanted to know your assessment [00:27:25] about treating the PCC here in Brazil as [00:27:29] terrorist under Brazilian law. It's [00:27:32] like... it's much more of a media thing from [00:27:35] Trump, because there are several American [00:27:38] groups, American tigers, several American groups, [00:27:42] it would be exactly like the PCC here. Are you going to treat the Italian [00:27:45] mafia as terrorist? [00:27:48] So it's more for media effect than for solution, [00:27:51] now who has to decide this is Brazil, not Trump, right? I mean, [00:27:55] we have an autonomous country, [00:27:58] independent, we are the ones who decide, right? They are the ones who have to be careful with [00:28:01] terrorists. who several times had terrorist attacks [00:28:05] within the United States, right? Today they are committing enormous injustices against [00:28:09] Brazilians and against South Americans, against Latinos who for [00:28:12] no reason are being arrested, put in jails and [00:28:16] expelled from the United States. Remember, the United States is a country [00:28:19] formed by a mountain of people who also came from outside, just like [00:28:23] us. So, these people helped build American wealth, [00:28:27] didn't they? Eh, sooner or later Trump will end up [00:28:31] being arrested. You can write that down today, then later you can hold me accountable. Let's [00:28:35] talk now about the privatization of SabesP carried out by the Tarcísio [00:28:39] government. I wanted to understand how, or know how [00:28:42] you view this privatization and, going further, [00:28:46] of course, how your government would ensure the [00:28:49] universalization of sanitation necessary for the water [00:28:52] bill to serve precisely all families in [00:28:55] the state of São Paulo. First, Gustavo, it's important [00:28:59] to remember the open statement of the governor of São Paulo [00:29:02] Tarcisio de Freitas, he gave his word, "by [00:29:06] my honor, I guarantee that the water [00:29:09] bill will not go up," he said. "I guarantee, I guarantee," then the water [00:29:13] bill went up. So, it's a bit of his profile, saying [00:29:17] things that he later can't deliver, [00:29:20] he ends up deceiving people in a way that, in [00:29:24] my view, is very strong. He knew it wasn't true, and it wasn't [00:29:28] true that the increase happened. The way the [00:29:31] privatization was done, do you think it's possible that the owner of Record [00:29:34] here would decide to sell Record, and then whoever bought Record, at the time [00:29:38] of opening a tender, only one competitor enters who [00:29:42] offers R$ 10,000 for Record, and then [00:29:45] Record is sold? It doesn't make sense. Sabesp [00:29:48] was sold for a price that eh Sabesp was worth [00:29:51] 100 billion. The state of São Paulo had 50 billion of these 100 [00:29:55] billion. It was sold to a single competitor for 13 [00:29:58] billion. This same competitor in [00:30:02] two hours later, the price was already 18 billion, 19 [00:30:05] billion, and this has an aggravating factor, Gustavo, you [00:30:09] who are listening to me at home, if it was sold for 13 billion, [00:30:13] each of us had a right to R$ 300 here in the state of São Paulo, there are 40 million [00:30:16] inhabitants, where are the 300, my 300, [00:30:20] my wife's 300, my children's, your 300, because no one received [00:30:23] any of this money, this money ended up going into the state's [00:30:26] coffers, he then used it to indemnify the highway [00:30:30] concessionaires for these toll businesses, the [00:30:34] metro delays, the money was gone. So we [00:30:37] lost the company that was a super [00:30:40] robust company, the second largest company in the world and that made a [00:30:44] profit of 3 to 4 billion reais every semester, [00:30:48] so it was a very bad sale, it's not about [00:30:51] privatizing, it's about selling badly. Tarcisio sold [00:30:54] Congonhas airport and I was, I was minister of that part, then I [00:30:58] took over in his place.
