[00:00:00] Donald Trump was asked if he agreed with the letter in which Flávio
[00:00:04] Bolsonaro declared himself president- elect of Brazil. An hour
[00:00:07] later, Flávio changed the text to leader of
[00:00:10] Brazil. Let's see what the American president
[00:00:13] said.
[00:00:15] Well, I'm not going to make a comment about that, but I know that we gave
[00:00:19] him a pass to come into the country, so we'll see, but I
[00:00:23] won't get involved, it was a very strange election, that's for sure. I thought
[00:00:27] they were treated very unfairly, I thought. "I thought they were treated very
[00:00:31] unfairly, and uh, I didn't take a position in the election,
[00:00:35] as you know, but when I see something
[00:00:37] that's
[00:00:39] up. You'll see now how Flávio
[00:00:43] Bolsonaro crossed the border from Brazil to Argentina,
[00:00:46] crossed the continent to the United
[00:00:49] States.
[00:00:52] According to the Argentine government, Flávio Bolsonaro, his wife
[00:00:55] and two daughters crossed the border from Brazil to Argentina
[00:00:59] at... 10:00 last night, which
[00:01:03] means that throughout Tuesday, the senator would still be
[00:01:06] in Brazil. Flávio used a travel document without
[00:01:10] legal impediment to enter Argentina. The passage was at the
[00:01:13] triple border from Foz do Iguaçu in
[00:01:17] Paraná. On the Argentine side, in Puerto
[00:01:19] jet was waiting for the
[00:01:22] family. About 40 minutes later, they
[00:01:26] boarded bound for Guayaquil in Ecuador.
[00:01:29] After refueling, the plane continued to the United
[00:01:32] States, without overflying Brazilian airspace.
[00:01:35] In the flight declaration, the four appear
[00:01:39] as passengers. Flávio Bolsonaro has Italian
[00:01:42] citizenship, which is the nationality that appears next to his name
[00:01:46] on the flight document, indicating the use of a European
[00:01:50] passport. Flávio Bolsonaro's passage through Puerto
[00:01:53] Iguaçu has already reached the Argentine Congress. The opposition wants the
[00:01:57] Foreign Minister, Pablo Quirno, to explain why
[00:02:00] the senator was able to make a stopover here in the country if he was prevented from
[00:02:04] leaving Brazil. They are asking for an investigation to determine
[00:02:07] if the Argentine government helped in any way. The
[00:02:11] government of Javier Milei has not yet commented. In a note,
[00:02:15] the Federal Police said that there is no record of Flávio's departure
[00:02:18] at Brazilian checkpoints and that the
[00:02:22] requirement to hand over passports would not
[00:02:25] authorize the Federal Police to arrest or
[00:02:28] permanently monitor the
[00:02:30] senator.
[00:02:32] Except for Argentina, all Latin American governments
[00:02:36] recognized President Lula's victory, as did Canada,
[00:02:39] Russia, China, and European countries. Yesterday
[00:02:43] it was the turn of the president of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele,
[00:02:46] to congratulate Lula. A strong name of the Latin American
[00:02:49] right, Bukele declared, open
[00:02:52] quotes, "On behalf of the people and government of the Republic of El
[00:02:56] Salvador, I extend my congratulations to Your Excellency
[00:03:00] on your reelection as President of the Federative Republic
[00:03:03] of Brazil." Close
[00:03:05] quotes.
[00:03:07] And the president of the Superior Electoral Court defended the
[00:03:11] fairness of the electoral process in Brazil and once again emphasized
[00:03:14] that the vote took place normally.
[00:03:17] Cássio Nunes Marques stated that last
[00:03:20] Sunday, the most inclusive elections in the history of the Brazilian
[00:03:25] I want to bring you a super tip again for those who follow Republic were held. Even in the face of
[00:03:27] instability in the final stretch of voting, it was possible to advance
[00:03:31] with the count and deliver a safe election. The
[00:03:34] minister also said that all questions raised within
[00:03:38] due legal process will be analyzed
[00:03:41] and answered, and that the elections took place
[00:03:45] with the utmost normality and respect
[00:03:48] for legal and constitutional
[00:03:50] dictates.
[00:03:54] Alerta Brasil is now taking a break for commercials and we'll be back to live

[00:09:06] We're back. We're now talking about a mysterious death inside a
[00:09:10] hotel in the west zone of São Paulo. The case took a
[00:09:13] turn. The partner of the young man found dead in a bathtub was
[00:09:16] arrested. The victim had life insurance
[00:09:20] policies that could yield 14 million reais
[00:09:23] to him. What at first seemed like an
[00:09:27] accidental death, began to be investigated
[00:09:31] as a possible homicide. At the beginning
[00:09:34] of the month, Caio Henrique Ventura, 21
[00:09:37] years old, was found dead in the whirlpool bathtub
[00:09:41] of a motel. The person who called for help was his
[00:09:44] partner, Fernando Naranjo Curt Tavares, 39
[00:09:47] years old. The man told the police that they
[00:09:51] were both in the bathtub and that he stepped away for
[00:09:54] a few minutes to take a shower. When
[00:09:58] he returned, he found the young man
[00:10:01] unconscious in the water.
[00:10:05] I immediately called for help. The motel staff even refused
[00:10:07] to help me get him out of the bathtub. I told the police this. "I
[00:10:11] tried everything I could to help him,
[00:10:15] but the version presented by the suspect began to be
[00:10:18] questioned by the investigators. According
[00:10:21] to the police, the bathtub
[00:10:25] was on a mezzanine, separated by a glass
[00:10:29] and could be seen by his partner. He
[00:10:32] may have had a sudden illness, or I suspect he may have
[00:10:36] consumed some type of drug, which was something he had already done on
[00:10:39] other occasions when we went out, but the
[00:10:42] forensic examinations identified injuries on the victim's
[00:10:45] fingers, hands, and forearms. The
[00:10:49] evidence raised the suspicion that the
[00:10:52] young man may have been assaulted
[00:10:55] and strangled, before being held under
[00:10:58] water. When he was at the IML, the doctor
[00:11:02] noticed, uh, that with a more in-depth
[00:11:05] examination, some injuries on the hand, right, on the
[00:11:09] body, as if he had been held down. His mouth was
[00:11:13] all cut inside, as if some
[00:11:17] pressure had been applied, right? The case happened at this motel,
[00:11:20] here in Barra Funda, west zone of São Paulo. The investigation of the
[00:11:24] case began to focus on the possible financial
[00:11:28] motivation for the crime. According to the police, the victim
[00:11:31] had life insurance policies with millionaire indemnities
[00:11:35] that reached R$14
[00:11:38] million reais, all recently taken out.
[00:11:41] The only beneficiary of these contracts was her
[00:11:45] partner. According
[00:11:48] to investigators, the suspect would have deceived Caio into
[00:11:51] taking out insurance, stating that the victim would be the
[00:11:55] beneficiary of the amount foreseen in case of
[00:11:58] death. We believe that he did not
[00:12:01] know about it, and that Caio, when signing
[00:12:05] some policies, was deceived, saying, "If I die,
[00:12:09] Fernando, it's for you to be well." Fernando and
[00:12:12] Caio formalized a stable union in
[00:12:15] June, 4 months before the crime, but they did not
[00:12:19] live together. About 20 days later, the
[00:12:22] suspect took out insurance, he presented false income tax
[00:12:26] declarations to request high
[00:12:29] amounts from insurance companies.
[00:12:32] Fernando may have pulled the love scam on other
[00:12:35] victims. He already has a criminal record for
[00:12:39] fraud in a previous relationship.
[00:12:42] He already has a record for
[00:12:45] fraud, because he was married for
[00:12:49] 12, 13 years and his wife went after him,
[00:12:52] because he made a card in her name. So,
[00:12:56] we don't even know if there aren't others out there that
[00:12:59] he's seducing with these stories of "I'll give you a better
[00:13:03] life."
[00:13:06] New images emerge for the investigation into the death of Beatriz Vitória and
[00:13:10] reveal details of the planning. The video captures the
[00:13:13] moment when the suspect Carla steals caustic soda
[00:13:17] two days before the crime. The two investigated individuals undergo
[00:13:21] a custody hearing. The first to be heard was
[00:14:06] the custody hearing analyzes the conditions of the arrest,
[00:14:09] the statements made at this moment do not represent a
[00:14:13] decision on the guilt of the investigated parties. Physical
[00:14:16] aggression, no, but from the beginning I was always
[00:14:19] pressured to
[00:14:23] assume something I didn't do. All the police officers who
[00:14:26] were there from the beginning to the end, both are being investigated for the death of
[00:14:30] Beatriz Vitória Motta, 27
[00:14:33] 9th. The victim's body was found with hands and feet
[00:14:37] tied in a grave in a settlement on the banks of
[00:14:40] MG10. A video shows Carlas separating what would be caustic
[00:14:44] soda. The image may raise the hypothesis of
[00:14:47] premeditation that is still being investigated by the authorities. The
[00:14:50] civil police forensics confirmed traces of the substance on the
[00:14:54] body. Everything indicates that it is really a conflict
[00:14:58] between the victim and the female perpetrator. Beatriz
[00:15:01] had a relationship, a
[00:15:04] relationship with the perpetrator, and this
[00:15:07] happened when he fought with his current partner, and all
[00:15:11] this, as the investigation indicates, created
[00:15:14] anger in the female perpetrator to desire and plan the
[00:15:17] death of Beatriz. Beatriz would have been taken by the couple
[00:15:21] to the isolated area and struck in the head before being buried. The
[00:15:25] investigated individuals may be charged with femicide and other
[00:15:29] crimes.
[00:15:31] Police dismantle a sexual exploitation network involving underage girls
[00:15:35] in Niterói, São Gonçalo, and
[00:15:38] Maricá, in Rio de Janeiro. Eight people were arrested, including a military police
[00:15:42] sergeant and an advisor to Federal Deputy Talíria Petroni from
[00:15:45] PSOL. The investigation identified the involvement of at least
[00:15:48] 10 suspects in the scheme, which included recordings and adult
[00:15:51] content under torture. The group
[00:15:54] threatened to disclose the videos on the internet. The investigation began
[00:15:57] after the arrest of a man accused of raping a
[00:16:01] 16-year-old girl. We are still awaiting a statement from
[00:16:04] the deputy.
[00:16:08] Cyclone passage leaves at least six dead in India, that's what you'll

[00:21:56] The trial of the young man who was driving a luxury car at high
[00:21:59] speed and caused the death of an app driver in São
[00:22:03] Paulo has begun. The accident was in March 2024.
[00:22:05] 2024.
[00:22:14] Fernando Sastre Filho arrived at the criminal court early
[00:22:17] this morning. He has been imprisoned
[00:22:21] since May 2024 and will be tried for intentional homicide
[00:22:24] when the risk of killing is assumed. The sports
[00:22:28] car of Sastre Filho hit the app vehicle and
[00:22:31] caused the death of the driver Ornaldo da Silva Viana,
[00:22:35] 55 years old. A large part of our joy
[00:22:39] was lost in this accident, right? Fernando's mother
[00:22:42] removed her son from the scene. Were you the driver of the
[00:22:46] car? Fernando was with...
[00:22:58] statements will show that he was not drunk,
[00:23:01] as they say. At the moment of impact, the vehicle
[00:23:04] was going at 136 km/h. The
[00:23:08] fate of Fernando Sastre Filho will be decided by the
[00:23:12] popular jury composed of four women and three
[00:23:15] men. The defense will have three witnesses,
[00:23:18] among them his mother and the police officer who attended the occurrence. The
[00:23:22] prosecution intends to hear 11 people,
[00:23:26] including the friend who was in the car and was injured,
[00:23:29] Fernando's ex-girlfriend. Giovana
[00:23:32] Pinheiro did not appear, the judge ordered a coercive
[00:23:36] escort. Marcos Vinícius Rocha, who was in the
[00:23:40] vehicle, stated that his friend drank before the accident and
[00:23:44] that was why Fernando's girlfriend didn't want him to
[00:23:46] drive.
[00:23:49] At least six people died during the

[00:27:22] ingredients in animal feed, has led researchers to seek
[00:27:25] more economical alternatives in Uberaba,
[00:27:28] in the Minas Gerais triangle, a project by the Federal Institute studies
[00:27:31] the use of waste from potato processing
[00:27:34] to produce an ingredient that can
[00:27:38] reduce the costs of pig
[00:27:40] feed.
[00:27:45] The study is being developed on the campus of the Federal Institute
[00:27:49] in Uberaba. The well-known and appreciated potato has gained
[00:27:52] importance in reinforcing animal nutrition.
[00:27:56] But before reaching the research field, the industry
[00:27:59] prepares the food. All this pasty residue is
[00:28:03] basically water mixed with potato peels. This
[00:28:07] material comes from companies that process this tuber. There is a whole
[00:28:11] production chain where the raw tuber enters, it is
[00:28:14] processed, it involves all equipment, a use
[00:28:18] of water also, and at the end that material that
[00:28:21] is not used forms this thick
[00:28:25] material that we see here, ready for processing. The
[00:28:28] residue is taken to the institute, in this
[00:28:31] greenhouse called a "vegetation peel," the
[00:28:34] treatment begins. The compound is placed on the conveyor belts and
[00:28:37] washed. Then comes the drying, which can take up to
[00:28:41] two days depending on the climate. It's very important to
[00:28:44] dry the residue, because it arrives here with a high moisture
[00:28:48] content, approximately 90%. So we dry
[00:28:52] it until it reaches approximately 14%,
[00:28:55] from there we can grind and also store it, in addition to
[00:28:59] also reducing the risk of microbiological contamination. Quickly
[00:29:03] equipped with PPE, Fernando Silva, one of the
[00:29:06] researchers, begins the process of transforming potato
[00:29:09] peels into flour. The researcher
[00:29:12] says that after the potato residue becomes flour, the
[00:29:16] food will complement the production of feed for the
[00:29:19] pigs, which is composed of three items: an energy
[00:29:22] food, which in our case is corn, soybean
[00:29:26] meal which will provide protein, and the
[00:29:29] core, in our case we are using the... for the
[00:29:33] potato residue to replace
[00:29:36] or eh reduce the use of
[00:29:39] corn. In this shed is the pig growing sector
[00:29:43] where the study is carried out. All the pigs have the
[00:29:46] same lifespan, 4 months, according to Eliana
[00:29:50] Rodrigues, we are now live in Brasília, Valdemar Costa Neto,
[00:29:54] president of the PL, speaks after meeting with former president Jair
[00:29:57] Bolsonaro, let's hear that his son was going to the United
[00:30:00] States, Flávio, we didn't touch on that
[00:30:04] subject, he knew that his
[00:30:07] son,
[00:30:12] you spoke about a movement that is happening in Congress to try to approve
[00:30:15] an amnesty for him, to try to reverse it. We didn't talk about that
[00:30:19] subject, what did you talk about then, president? I talked, I hadn't seen Bolsonaro in almost a
[00:30:23] year, I had so many things to tell him. I talked about the
[00:30:26] election, I talked about how the candidates did in all the
[00:30:30] states.
[00:31:03] he spoke he came on the day then to speak the next
[00:31:06] day he said he warned, didn't he tell his father, didn't he
[00:31:09] Bolsonaro?
