[00:05:53] that we are
[00:05:56] on the eve of the fifth anniversary of the victory of the Islamic
[00:06:00] Emirate and the liberation of the country from
[00:06:02] the occupying forces, therefore,
[00:06:05] I would like to mention a few points
[00:06:08] regarding the progress, development, and advancement
[00:06:12] of Afghanistan. Based on
[00:06:15] international studies, if a country wants
[00:06:19] to achieve progress, development
[00:06:22] and growth, a few
[00:06:25] points can play
[00:06:27] an important role as influential factors
[00:06:31] and variables in the progress of countries.
[00:06:34] The first issue is political
[00:06:38] independence in a country. As long
[00:06:41] as a country is not politically independent
[00:06:45] and its political destiny is not determined
[00:06:48] by its own people, that country will never
[00:06:52] achieve victory, nor will it achieve progress
[00:06:56] and development. Therefore, this is
[00:06:59] a historical opportunity for Afghanistan, that today we
[00:07:03] are an independent country, without
[00:07:07] any foreign soldiers in our country. The people of Afghanistan themselves
[00:07:10] manage their political,
[00:07:14] economic, scientific, and educational system and situation.
[00:07:18] Therefore, from a scientific
[00:07:21] perspective, the ground for Afghanistan's
[00:07:24] progress and development is completely prepared
[00:07:28] from a political aspect. The second factor that
[00:07:31] can play a role in the progress and development of a country
[00:07:34] is the strengthening of national unity.
[00:07:37] If a country strengthens the fabric
[00:07:41] and foundations of its national unity and manages
[00:07:44] this process in such a way that the
[00:07:47] enemy never has an opportunity to infiltrate,
[00:07:51] then the ground and
[00:07:55] foundation for the country's progress
[00:07:58] are provided in the economic,
[00:08:01] political, scientific, and educational fields. Fortunately,
[00:08:04] in the current situation, the ground for the development of national
[00:08:07] unity and the strengthening of national identity has been
[00:08:11] prepared more than ever before, and this can provide
[00:08:15] a foundation for Afghanistan's growth and progress
[00:08:19] now and in the future. Therefore, we all have a responsibility
[00:08:22] to take serious, prominent, and worthy
[00:08:25] steps in safeguarding Afghanistan's national
[00:08:29] unity, and the enemies of Afghanistan should not
[00:08:32] be allowed to create conflict and division
[00:08:35] among the people of Afghanistan under
[00:08:38] various pretexts. The third issue
[00:08:42] is strengthening the economy and public welfare.
[00:08:46] Once again, the officials of the system have
[00:08:49] taken important steps in advancing economic
[00:08:52] goals through holding exhibitions, supporting
[00:08:56] the growth of domestic production, and supporting national
[00:09:00] and international investors in this regard, which
[00:09:04] can shape a bright future for Afghanistan's
[00:09:07] economy. The fourth component
[00:09:11] is ensuring public
[00:09:13] security, and once again, in the era
[00:09:16] of the Islamic Emirate, we are witnessing that
[00:09:20] the entire country enjoys stability and security. This
[00:09:23] can play an important role in attracting investment
[00:09:27] because there is an organic link between security
[00:09:30] and economy. If security is provided in a country,
[00:09:34] the ground for investment and economic growth
[00:09:38] is automatically provided. The last component
[00:09:41] is the absence or lack of administrative and financial
[00:09:45] corruption, and once again, in the Islamic
[00:09:49] Emirate system, decisive and relentless efforts have
[00:09:53] been made to combat corruption, and corruption
[00:09:56] has been eradicated in our country. And if there are
[00:10:00] any reports in some cases, they will
[00:10:03] also be addressed. These five components that I mentioned
[00:10:07] to you form the foundation and groundwork for the progress
[00:10:10] of any country, which

[00:12:49] Exhibition of Agriculture and Livestock of Afghanistan
[00:12:52] among the esteemed officials
[00:12:55] of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, chamber leaders,
[00:12:59] esteemed traders, investors, producers,
[00:13:01] farmers, livestock breeders, and other economic
[00:13:04] actors of the country. At the outset, I would
[00:13:08] like to express my sincere thanks and appreciation
[00:13:11] to the esteemed leadership of the Afghanistan Agriculture and Livestock
[00:13:15] Chamber for organizing this valuable exhibition,
[00:13:19] which provides an opportunity to introduce the country's capacity,
[00:13:23] products, and economic opportunities. Also,
[00:13:26] the participation of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and
[00:13:29] Investment, the Afghanistan Agriculture and Livestock
[00:13:33] Chamber, the Mines Chamber, the Craftsmen's Chamber,
[00:13:35] and other private sector institutions in such
[00:13:39] events is a sign of solidarity, coordination,
[00:13:42] and shared responsibility for the future of
[00:13:46] Afghanistan. Dear attendees, Afghanistan is a country rich in
[00:13:50] capacities and great economic
[00:13:53] opportunities. Agriculture and livestock are among
[00:13:57] the fundamental pillars of our national
[00:14:00] economy, and they are directly linked to the lives,
[00:14:03] livelihoods, employment, and food security of a large
[00:14:06] part of the Afghan people. Fertile soil,
[00:14:10] diverse climate, high-quality products,
[00:14:13] united human resources, and Afghanistan's
[00:14:17] valuable geographical location have provided
[00:14:20] us with opportunities. However, today our
[00:14:23] responsibility is not only to increase production,
[00:14:27] but we must also create market value-added
[00:14:30] and competitiveness for Afghan products.
[00:14:33] Our farmers must be assured that their
[00:14:37] products have a market. Our livestock farmers
[00:14:41] must have opportunities for growth and development.
[00:14:44] Our industrialists must have access to domestic
[00:14:48] raw materials and suitable markets. Our
[00:14:51] traders must be able to easily deliver Afghan
[00:14:56] products to regional and international markets.
[00:14:59] Our investors must invest in the country
[00:15:02] with greater confidence. If these links
[00:15:05] are connected, agriculture and livestock
[00:15:09] can not only meet domestic needs,
[00:15:12] but can also become one of the main
[00:15:16] drivers of production, employment, exports,
[00:15:20] and economic growth in Afghanistan.
[00:15:23] Honorable ministers, distinguished officials,
[00:15:27] private sector leaders present at this meeting,
[00:15:30] we must strive so that Afghanistan's agricultural
[00:15:33] products do not leave the country only
[00:15:37] as raw materials. Industrial development,
[00:15:41] processing, packaging, standardizing, creating cold
[00:15:44] storage facilities, improving transportation and
[00:15:48] transit, access to financial resources, and expanding
[00:15:51] export markets are essential needs of
[00:15:54] Afghanistan's agricultural economy.
[00:15:58] Fresh and dried fruits, saffron,
[00:16:02] jalabe, medicinal plants, and other agricultural
[00:16:05] and livestock products of Afghanistan have
[00:16:08] the potential for a wider presence in regional
[00:16:12] markets. Our goal should be that products
[00:16:15] produced in Afghanistan are processed
[00:16:18] in Afghanistan as much as possible. Honorable
[00:16:22] ministers, no economy is built only
[00:16:25] by the government, and no economy is
[00:16:28] built only by the private sector. A strong
[00:16:31] economy is the result of cooperation,
[00:16:34] trust, coordination, and shared responsibility
[00:16:38] between the government and the private sector.

[00:18:41] to the provinces and ports. Today, ensuring security in
[00:18:45] the country has created an important opportunity
[00:18:48] for economic activity and investment. Now,
[00:18:51] our shared responsibility is to transform this
[00:18:55] opportunity into real economic growth by
[00:18:58] creating more facilities,
[00:19:02] reducing administrative obstacles, supporting domestic production,
[00:19:05] and providing a safe and predictable environment
[00:19:09] for investors. Security is the foundation of
[00:19:12] investment, trust is the foundation of trade.
