[00:00:15] of of [00:00:16] of of [00:00:20] And it is 10 p.m. on the east coast, I'm Benzwan. Here are the stories [00:00:24] of we're following right now. First, the migrant crisis that is shaking [00:00:27] Europe, tens [00:00:28] of of thousand [00:00:29] of surged into a... tiny Spanish territory, and now questions are growing tonight [00:00:33] about Washington's involvement, plus a troubly night for [00:00:36] Ukraine's air defenses, as Russia launches new wave of ballistic [00:00:40] missiles and [00:00:42] of finally, was a 60-minutes investigation into Jeffrey Epstein's [00:00:45] finances suddenly shelved at the last minute. You know, on [00:00:49] this show we know you don't need more content, but what you do need [00:00:52] of is context. Anybody can tell you what's happening in the news? Tonight we [00:00:56] hope to [00:00:57] of help you understand why it's happening, how it's happening, and how... affects [00:01:13] going to talk about a place that before last week most Americans had never even [00:01:16] heard of, a small Spanish [00:01:19] of territory on the coast of North Africa called Seuda. Now, [00:01:22] because what happened there last week may have more to [00:01:25] of do with Washington than most people realize. See last week Seyuda was [00:01:29] overrun but... 50 and 60,000 migrants surged towards [00:01:33] that border [00:01:34] in a single weekend, we showed you video of that resulting chaos, [00:01:38] more than 80 people died, some drowned, others were crushed during the [00:01:41] stampede, and just like that you had [00:01:44] of a crisis Sydney Shockwaves, not just across Europe, [00:01:47] of but also here in the United States. You saw [00:01:51] Spain uh yesterday, and I watched the [00:01:55] catastrophe that took place, it was a, it looks like invasion of a [00:01:58] country by hundreds of thousands of [00:02:01] people, and that same thing is going to happen to us if the republicans don't [00:02:05] get elected, except worse, much bigger, much [00:02:09] easier to get into, despite the fact that [00:02:12] of we have built thousands of miles of [00:02:15] of wall, of which I said we were going to do, but we didn't have that, [00:02:19] forget it, but we have the safest border in the world, if [00:02:23] we're not in office, our country will be [00:02:25] invaded at levels that made Spain look smaller. [00:02:31] Yeah, you now, President Trump used this crisis as a warning about what US [00:02:34] immigration policy, but inside of Europe, the debate looks [00:02:38] different, see 22 EU leaders claimed outrage and they signed a letter criticizing [00:02:42] Spain's prime minister, Pedro [00:02:44] of Sanchez, arguing that his government's migration policies helped to create the conditions [00:02:48] for this disaster. They pointed to [00:02:49] a recent Spanish Supreme Court ruling that prevented authorities from immediately [00:02:53] deporting migrants who [00:02:55] me arrived by sea without due process. Los Sanchez fired back saying that [00:02:59] human smugglers. deliberately distorted that ruling, convincing thousands of [00:03:02] people that they could simply swim around the border fence, but [00:03:06] while Europe was arguing amongst itself, right? there was another part [00:03:09] of the story that [00:03:10] in barely got any attention here in the United States. listen to [00:03:13] this. It's true that, I think [00:03:16] they that Rabat has done it, has tolerated [00:03:19] it, because they knew that Israel and the [00:03:23] United States would be fine with that. I think [00:03:27] in nobody can mobilize [00:03:28] f 50,00 people. 6000 [00:03:31] a people without the the permission [00:03:32] of the king of Morocco, that's unbelievable, so [00:03:36] it's so it's also [00:03:37] of [00:03:37] of difficult that Israel or or [00:03:40] of America of could have organized it, but everybody tolerated, that [00:03:44] that's for sure, I'm sure the Msad knew what what was going to happen, [00:03:48] I'm sure the CIA knew what was going [00:03:51] of to happen, yeah, Spanish journalist Miguel Mora is one [00:03:55] of the many people online making a series of stunning allegations there, they [00:03:59] claim that Moroccos. government [00:04:00] of deliberately mobilized [00:04:02] of those thousands of migrants towards Sayuda with the approval of King [00:04:06] Muhammad and that foreign intelligence agencies including Masad and the [00:04:10] CIA were aware the plan but did not warn Spain. [00:04:18] very clear in the last months about [00:04:21] the Spanish disloyalty [00:04:25] with and NATO and with Israel [00:04:28] buse we have. remember the Spanish government [00:04:31] of has been quite the only one in Europe that has [00:04:34] denounced the genocide in Palestine and Gaza [00:04:38] and it was one [00:04:42] of of the first that recognized this the [00:04:44] of Palestinian state, so according to Mora, the migrant surge was [00:04:48] intended as political pressure on Madrid over Spain's recognition of [00:04:52] a Palestinian state. It's criticism of Israel's war in Gaza and his decision [00:04:56] to defy the United States and Israel on those issues. Well now those... claims [00:05:00] have not been substantiated, we should point that out, but considering what we are hearing from law [00:05:04] makers in our own country, it does make you think, congressman [00:05:08] Thomas Massy himself says the timing of this crisis was [00:05:12] of not, a coincidence, he pointed out that just two weeks before the [00:05:16] border collapse, two weeks, the US house passed HR [00:05:19] 8595 by vote of 217 to 209. [00:05:22] Republicans supported it 215 to one. [00:05:26] Thomas Massy was the only Republican who voted no. Now, Massi has [00:05:30] said that the bill effectively handed Suuda to Morocco. What [00:05:34] he's referring to is language inside the House Appropriations Committee [00:05:38] report, which recognized that Sayoda and Malya sit [00:05:41] within. and express support for [00:05:45] diplomatic talks between Morocco and Spain over their future [00:05:48] status. That language, [00:05:50] by the way, it's not binding law. It does not change who controls the territory, [00:05:54] but it does do something else. It puts the United States on record, acknowledging [00:05:57] Morocco's claim against a NATO ally, [00:06:00] and that's the part that should give you pause, because Congress didn't hand Saiuda over to [00:06:04] Morocco, no question about that, but it did, it did give [00:06:08] Morocco's position new political legitimacy. [00:06:12] and then just two weeks later that very territory became the center [00:06:16] of one of Europe's largest migration crisis in years. [00:06:20] now whether you believe that those events are directly connected or not, the [00:06:24] timing is something you just can't ignore, especially when you consider [00:06:28] that two weeks before 60,000 migrants storm seyuda, congress [00:06:31] mentioned seyuda by name an [00:06:35] appropriations bill. i think about this, i wonder how many times in [00:06:38] america's 250 year history congress has ever had bill. [00:06:42] with the nameuda in it, the first time they do, two weeks [00:06:46] later, this happens, come on, also, also, how many members of [00:06:50] congress who voted for that bill even read the committee report, how many [00:06:54] even new Sayuda was mentioned, or better yet, how about [00:06:57] this, right now, how many them could even find Sayuda [00:07:01] on the map? well, now the [00:07:05] recent migrant crisis in Spain's Sayuda region as we've been telling you, [00:07:09] has actually returned Madrid to its long-time headache. [00:07:12] diplomatic balance between neighboring Morocco and Algeria, [00:07:16] see the nations are very important for Spain, but from different perspectives [00:07:20] and at the center of it all, energy. RT [00:07:24] correspondent, Umaima Ichar explains: [00:07:27] Spain is facing two very different crises at the same time, one [00:07:31] its border, the other in its energy sector, and together they [00:07:35] reveal just how difficult it has become for Madrid to [00:07:39] balance its relationships with both Morocco and Algeria. [00:08:12] another issue has quietly become just as important, the issue [00:08:16] of energy. emit global uncertainty and pressure on [00:08:19] international gas markets amid the US war in Iran, [00:08:23] Spain has been working to reinforce its energy partnership [00:08:27] with Algers, one of its biggest suppliers [00:08:31] of natural gas. Algeria was our first [00:08:34] supplier of natural gas a time of extraordinary uncertainty in [00:08:38] international markets. From Spain, we especially value Algeria's position [00:08:42] as strategic partner and reliable partner. Obviously, it's not [00:08:46] just a supply relationship, we also want to collaborate to face together the [00:08:49] challenges the energy transition, technological innovation, and [00:08:53] also the digitalization of infrastructure. Today we are at the beginning of [00:08:57] new phase. Algeria can count on Spain, it's a key partner to [00:09:01] us with its geographical proximity. Spain's position [00:09:05] is unique because it shares a maritime border with Morocco, [00:09:09] key partner migration and security, while Algeria. supplies [00:09:13] much the natural gas that powers Spanish homes and businesses. [00:09:16] For years, Madrid managed to maintain good business ties with [00:09:20] both of those nearby countries. Up to 2021, [00:09:24] Algeria was exporting gas to Spain through two [00:09:27] pipelines: one, the medgaz pipeline runs directly [00:09:30] under the Mediterranean sea. The other, the Magharib Europe pipeline [00:09:34] ran through neighboring Morocco before going to Spain. The arrangement [00:09:38] worked for everyone. Algir sold its gas, but about earned... [00:09:42] transit fees [00:09:43] and received part the supplies, while Madrid benefited from two [00:09:47] separate import roots, but that changed in [00:09:50] 2021. you see, relations between those two north [00:09:54] african nations have been tense since the [00:09:56] 1960s, but they worsen dramatically in [00:10:00] 2021 over a variety of issues, particularly [00:10:04] territory in the sahara, and so amid that situation, [00:10:07] Algeries decided not to renew the contract for the Magharib Europe [00:10:11] pipeline and gas exports through Morocco, [00:10:15] that is despite repeatedly expressed its desire to keep the root [00:10:19] open. Morocco's desire to retain this export [00:10:22] route has been expressed clearly and... consistently at all levels for more [00:10:26] than three years. Algeria, meanwhile, announced that it would end [00:10:30] the agreement citing what it described as supposedly hostile [00:10:34] actions by Morocco. In view the hostile practices [00:10:38] the kingdom of Morocco towards Algeria, practices that undermine [00:10:42] national unity, and after consultation with the prime minister, the minister of [00:10:45] finance, the minister of foreign affairs and national community [00:10:49] abroad, and the minister of energy and mines, the president the [00:10:53] republic has instructed. the national company, Sonatrack, to [00:10:57] cease all commercial relations with the Moroccan side, and to not [00:11:01] renew the contract in question. From then on, Algerian gas [00:11:04] bound for Spain would travel exclusively through the med gas [00:11:08] pipeline beneath the Mediterranean, bypassing Morocco [00:11:12] entirely, and yet Madrid continued emphasize the [00:11:16] importance of its relationship with Arabat. Morocco has been and [00:11:20] will remain a strategic ally for Spain and the European Union. [00:11:23] Morocco is a param. importance for the interests of Spain, what we [00:11:27] want is a strategic relationship with Morocco even stronger than [00:11:31] before. the balancing act became even more complicated in [00:11:34] 2022, when Spain began supplying gas to [00:11:38] Morocco, move that raised concerns in Algeria about [00:11:42] the origin of that gas. Madrid insisted that it was [00:11:45] not Algerian. Spain is seeking to strengthen energy deals with [00:11:49] Algeria while also relying on Morocco's cooperation on migration [00:11:53] and borderman. managment and both relationships are [00:11:57] strategically important for Spain. The latest events in [00:12:00] Sipta, also known as seuta have reignited questions about how [00:12:04] migration and diplomacy intersect in the region. In [00:12:08] 2021, after Spain allowed the leader of Polisario Front, [00:12:12] an organization that Morocco sees as separatist movement and a proxy group [00:12:16] controlled by Algeria, to come to Spain and receive a medical [00:12:20] treatment, thousands of migrants cross into sa, [00:12:24] which again is... is the city that Morocco views a Spanish occupied [00:12:27] territory, making the whole situation even more [00:12:31] complicated. Spanish officials then accused Morocco of easing [00:12:35] border controls during the diplomatic dispute, an allegation that Morocco [00:12:38] rejected. Whether these developments are directly connected or [00:12:42] simply unfolding at the same time, remains a matter of political [00:12:46] debate. But what is clear is that Spain's geography leaves [00:12:50] it closely tied to both Morocco and Algeria, and as [00:12:54] migration, energy security and regional tensions continue to [00:12:58] overlap, maintaining the delicate balance is [00:13:01] becoming increasingly [00:13:03] difficult. so joining [00:13:07] us now to discuss is harrison smith, host the war room [00:13:15] me. all right, so let's talk [00:13:15] about this. i know you you know lot about this issue, you've talked lot about it. first [00:13:19] of all, let ask what do you make of of Thomas Massy and [00:13:23] the... points that he makes [00:13:26] regarding congress voting on this just two weeks before, the fact that every [00:13:30] Republican voted for it, he was the only one who did not, and [00:13:33] specifically the fact that as I mentioned, I think most members of Congress couldn't [00:13:37] even tell you where Zayuta is a map, they have no idea, and yet suddenly this [00:13:41] thing creeps into an appropriations bill, and I'm willing to bet it's it's [00:13:45] never been in any bill prior to this, so I'm very surprised that it shows [00:13:49] up all of sudden, it just correlation is too close, it's too [00:13:52] bizarre. Oh yeah, Absolutely, I don't think it's a [00:13:56] coincidence at all. The the money, the 40 million that Thomas [00:13:59] Massy pointed out uh, is just the sort the carot to go [00:14:03] along with the stick, but really this is about, I think the diplomatic [00:14:07] manipulation, basically putting pressure on Spain. There was [00:14:11] also, [00:14:11] you know, statements put out by American congressman claiming that [00:14:15] Sauta it was Spanish occupied, essentially saying Morockan [00:14:19] territory. This is ridiculous, these places have been Spanish since before [00:14:22] Morocco was nation, uh, it'd be like, somebody in Russia saying that [00:14:26] we had to give Alaska back uh, but even more ridiculous, I mean Alaska, [00:14:30] that's, there are people in living memory who are older than Alaska as a state, [00:14:34] but say Utah, I mean this has been hundreds of years, so this [00:14:38] wasn't created by America, this pressure point, this uh sort of pressure [00:14:42] release valve a lot of ways and it wasn't created by Israel, but they're applying [00:14:45] pressure in order to get concessions elsewhere, so I i believe this is a big [00:14:49] diplomatic game, obviously everybody has ulterior motives, the reason they're saying [00:14:53] they're doing one thing is... is not the actual reason, this is about pressuring [00:14:57] Spain to get concessions um over their behavior and [00:15:00] and antagonism towards America and Israel's behavior in the Middle East, yeah, [00:15:04] you're you're 100% right when you say it's even more ridiculous than asking us to give [00:15:08] Alaska back, I believe Suuda has been spanish territory since [00:15:11] 1582, like it's longer before the new [00:15:15] world had even been discovered this has been Spanish territory, so the idea that suddenly [00:15:19] it's like no, it's been colonized and it needs to be returned is is ludicrous, [00:15:23] there's also the issue of course. of Benjamin Netanyahu, right, and the [00:15:27] threats that he's made, publicly made threats to Spain and [00:15:31] towards Spain for not backing Israel for talking about a Palestinian [00:15:35] state and has said, "don't forget what's happened to [00:15:39] you in the past, to see this coming, now there's no, direct smoking gun [00:15:42] in Netanyahu's hand over this, but the idea that both the masad and [00:15:46] CIA may have been involved in trying to make this happen as punishment to [00:15:50] Spain, not just because of migrants, right, but it's more the PR crisis [00:15:54] that comes with it seems like the more likely scenario. yeah, [00:15:57] absolutely, and I think it's even deeper than that uh, because the PR, [00:16:01] obviously, [00:16:02] you know, Israel is desperately looking for ways to improve their PR, I [00:16:06] think it has more to..." do with they would they want Spain to [00:16:10] actively participate in their military actions so that Spain has no [00:16:14] standing to be against them in the ICC or some other international [00:16:17] body because Spain is actually like helped the ICC, they [00:16:21] were probing the Gaza rights abuses uh they actually so I'm not sure exactly [00:16:25] how it works but they they basically backed up the prosecution side, the South African [00:16:29] side who brought the case for war crimes against nan Yahoo [00:16:32] and um Israel's a state, Spain backed them up and were on their [00:16:36] side, now if you can get Spain to provide bases and provide [00:16:39] weaponry for these actions, that sort of undercuts their ability to stand [00:16:43] up against it. [00:16:44] I i think they are trying to force Spain into active participation, not just [00:16:48] you know shut up, stop criticizing us, but actually you have to [00:16:51] cooperate with us so you're complicit and can no longer stand against us on the [00:16:55] international stage. So PR is one aspect of it, but there are legal [00:16:59] consequences to this that have to do with the ICC, and if you've been following the drama the [00:17:03] ICC, clearly Israel is going above and beyond, and [00:17:06] using... their favorite weapon, which is American [00:17:09] diplomatic gravitas, to achieve their ends. [00:17:13] do you ever think the members of congress, do you think [00:17:15] they ever are self-aware enough to feel stupid, meaning feeling like, [00:17:19] you know what, i didn't even realize until until massy pointed it [00:17:22] out, maybe we got bamboosled, maybe we were tricked into something, or they just [00:17:26] so oblivious to everything that it's like, nah, yeah, [00:17:30] you know what, we stand by whatever we said or signed off on that we probably didn't even [00:17:33] read. [00:17:49] I, I actually have kind the opposite reaction where I think they think that they're a part [00:17:52] of some very sophisticated and kind of secret double not [00:17:56] spy action where it's like, you don't understand, we're putting [00:18:00] pressure on here so that we can get weaponry over here, it's a very sophisticated, [00:18:03] complicated diplomatic, this is above your paygrate, which I think it must be [00:18:07] funny to them to then turn on every single, right-wing outlet [00:18:11] going, this is for Israel, this is [00:18:13] you know why, here's how it's happening. uh, I think they think they're involved in like very [00:18:17] high-level sophisticated diplomatic pressure campaigns and moves [00:18:21] and PR, and I think they are not up to speed with [00:18:25] what time it is, and how easily everybody figures this stuff out. And, [00:18:29] with the Israeli, I mean, it's Netan Yahu, it's also his son, Yeere Netanyahu, or [00:18:33] whatever his name is these days, uh, he since 2019, [00:18:37] posting things going, hey muslims, you want to reconquer Islamic land, [00:18:41] here you go, and it's a picture of southern Spain and these Spanish exclaves or [00:18:44] enclaves inside Africa, so addition to that, it's you [00:18:48] know the uh diplomat, whatever he's called to America [00:18:52] from Israel, he was putting out things saying, this is [00:18:56] long overdue and basically insinuating that they were in favor of [00:19:00] this, uh, I don't even think it's that subtle, it's not, it's not like it's a [00:19:04] wink a not, they're basically just saying, yeah, we orchestrated. "you know, [00:19:08] what [00:19:08] are you going to do about it? and it plays into the false dichotomy they're pushing forward, [00:19:12] which is almost become, it's it's not really false dichotomy anymore, the [00:19:16] idea that you're either in favor the quote andqute conservatives who are just Israel [00:19:20] first slaves for lack of better term, or you have to be this [00:19:24] like this Pedro sanchez president of Spain who is in fact deliberately opening his [00:19:28] border to a massive influx of migrants from Africa or anywhere else in the [00:19:32] world, this is false dichotomy, and it's it's just obvious how we're getting [00:19:35] screwed both ways coming and going." Yeah, absolutely, and then you talk about [00:19:39] any these, politicians, diplomats around the world who weigh in on this, the [00:19:43] Ukrainian top diplomat who came out and said, it's Russian propaganda, we [00:19:47] noticed that they're the ones pointing this out, and they're trying to make everyone feel scared [00:19:50] of migrants and it's like, no, I think they're just showing you the pictures, [00:19:54] this the part of feeling scared and the part of being nervous about this comes with what your [00:19:58] eyeballs are seeing, I'll give you the last word here, yeah, absolutely no, and [00:20:02] and of course there's rumors, I'm not sure if it was confirmed, but there have been photos of [00:20:06] people with like whipmark. on them and the rumor was that thousands of people have been let out of [00:20:10] prison specifically to participate uh in this mob attack on [00:20:13] Spain. I think it's fairly obvious that this was orchestrated [00:20:17] by Israel and America, which of course makes it absurd all their claims about how they're [00:20:21] protecting the west from the enslot of Islam, they're they're happy to use [00:20:25] Islamic bio weapons essentially uh in order to overwhelm the Spanish [00:20:29] authorities to cause them a problem, so in hopes that they can get concessions elsewhere by [00:20:33] going all right, you don't like that there's mobs of uh Muslims taken [00:20:37] over. your onclaves, well then [00:20:39] you maybe you can back off the ICC prosecution or maybe you can give us [00:20:42] you know access to your airbases and maybe we can see what we can do with Morocco, [00:20:45] so I think it's totally cynical and um very very illustrative the... [00:21:40] russia continues to hit Ukraine with missile strikes, overnight it is reported that the [00:21:43] Ukrainian struck down exactly zero, zero the Russian [00:21:47] ballistic missiles targeting Kiev, rt's roman. has more on that [00:21:51] tonight. now the Russian defense ministry confirmed that [00:21:55] a massive strike using high precision ground-based weapons [00:21:58] and long-range drones was indeed carried out [00:22:02] overnight. Among the targets in Kiev was the Chiika [00:22:05] logistic sensor which is used for storing and [00:22:08] distributing components for long and medium range [00:22:12] drones. Also hit was the logistic center of Nova Pojta, [00:22:16] Ukraine's postal service, the largest automated sorting facility. [00:22:20] that stores and distributes items for the production of uh [00:22:24] long and medium range drones as well as robotic systems and [00:22:27] electronic warfare equipment. now another transport and [00:22:31] logistics center that produces drones of uh various [00:22:34] modifications as well as stores and distributes various resources for the [00:22:38] Ukrainian military was also struck in Kieve. another logistics [00:22:42] hub called epicenter which is a large automated [00:22:46] warehouse providing uh order processing, sorting, storage [00:22:50] and delivery of components for the production of drones was also [00:22:54] struck in Kieve. now over in the Kiev region, another [00:22:57] logistic sensor called the uh terminal brovari which [00:23:01] stores components for long and medium range drones, including foreign [00:23:05] made drones was hit too. also there, another [00:23:08] transport and logistics sensor called Araben [00:23:11] Ukraine, major hub for the distribution and storage [00:23:15] of components for drones was also destroyed [00:23:19] and Finally, another large sorting complex of Ukraine's [00:23:23] post that stores aircraft type drones and their [00:23:27] components was also destroyed over in Brovari. now the Russian [00:23:30] defense ministry also said that strikes against Ukraine's black [00:23:34] sea ports infrastructure continues as [00:23:38] three cargo ships for damaged south south of [00:23:41] Odessa as they were delivering weapons and military equipment [00:23:45] for the Kiev regime. Meanwhile, Kiev's own monitoring [00:23:49] services. reported that the Russian attack was carried out using [00:23:53] around 20 Iskander M ballistic [00:23:56] missiles, around 10 hypersonic Zirkan [00:24:00] missiles and 40, 40 to 50 gan missiles. Now [00:24:04] locals also know that they did not see any [00:24:08] air defense being deployed as not a single Russian ballistic missile [00:24:12] was intercepted, and speaking of that, well Vladimir [00:24:15] Zelensky has been complaining recently that Ukraine is [00:24:19] unable to... intercept Russian ballistic missiles due to [00:24:22] lack of munitions for US patriot [00:24:25] systems. There has been quite a lot of talk [00:24:29] regarding the fact that Washington may one day grant the Kiv [00:24:32] regime license to produce its own patriot missiles. While [00:24:36] that seems completely unrealistic and unlikely, [00:24:40] Zelensky and his Click are talking about that as having [00:24:44] some kind of wonder weapon that will change the course of [00:24:47] events. While Washington had well sort of [00:24:51] hinted that the US is thinking about granting key of that [00:24:55] license, Donald Trump seems to be more in touch with [00:24:58] reality and the key regime. you have to be [00:25:02] very judicious, but you have to be very careful. [00:25:06] uh, now we have not agreed to that, we're [00:25:09] talking about it, but it's a hard thing to give away that kind of [00:25:12] technology. uh, and I don't think this would ever happen, [00:25:16] but [00:25:17] you know, those people that you give that technology, they can someday turn. [00:25:20] on you, meanwile, due to complete [00:25:24] impotance on the battlefield and regular Russian troops [00:25:27] advances, the Kiv regime has turned to blatant [00:25:31] terrorism against Russian civilians. Defense ministry reported that [00:25:35] overnight 475 aircraft type drones [00:25:39] were intercepted and destroyed over 17 different regions [00:25:43] of Russia. Daily drone attacks target [00:25:46] unsuspecting people at seaside vacation. [00:25:50] resorts, kids at playgrounds, people driving [00:25:53] between cities, people simply coming home or going to [00:25:57] work and etc and etc. now those attacks are presented [00:26:01] by zelensky to: "the world has some sort of crucial [00:26:05] advantage over Moscow that's supposed to turn the tides and [00:26:08] make Russia request to humiliating peace. Well, Russia's daily [00:26:12] retaliation attacks against Kiev's and military installations and related [00:26:16] facilities prove quite the opposite. If the goals the special [00:26:19] military operation cannot be achieved diplomatically, then [00:26:23] the army will have final say in reaching the [00:26:26] peace. All right, tonight, new senate [00:26:30] report says that some the world's biggest." Banks fail to alert the government in [00:26:34] time about suspicious financial activity tied to Jeffrey [00:26:38] Epsteen. American aus Julis grow joins us now to talk about that. [00:26:42] So Shocker here, right? Oh, Jeffrey [00:26:45] Epstein involved and nobody's telling the truth, but what investigators find [00:26:49] here? So it was led by Senator Ron Weyden, and he led [00:26:52] investigation to basically uncover that some the biggest banks that ordinary [00:26:56] Americans use, we're sitting on uh information that [00:27:00] could have helped investigators. figure out lot of Jeffrey [00:27:04] Epstein's financial dealings, right? So we have J.P. [00:27:07] Morgan, the um, the Bank of America, and then we [00:27:11] also have another Deutsch Bank, Deutsch Bank was also one, Deutsche Bank was [00:27:15] also involved, and so these banks report to suspicious transactions that [00:27:19] were supposed to be have been reported within 60 days, most these banks ended up reporting [00:27:23] them 2019 or after, so by the time he was in jail and even [00:27:26] after he was uh, he died, so this is raising questions about whether [00:27:30] earlier reporting could have helped him. investigators with his prosecution. Okay, so they should have [00:27:34] 60 days to report, they weren't reporting them, this is multiple banks, but what kind of transactions [00:27:38] are we talking about? So we're looking at $150 million [00:27:42] to $200 million dollar transactions to people like uh Leon [00:27:46] Black who's the member the Apollo Management Group. We also [00:27:50] have a bunch of cash from personal accounts withdraw. We [00:27:54] can even look at this screenshot from a JP Morgan uh [00:27:57] Bank associate and it says that um [00:28:01] basically [00:28:02] it it's that the JP Morgan Associate knew and advised Jeffrey [00:28:05] Epsteen to stop using his cash, use his aviation cash [00:28:09] accounts versus his personal accounts to kind [00:28:11] of obscure where this money is coming from and stop leaving such heavy trail. At the bottom [00:28:15] the screenshot it also says they're the [00:28:16] that aware massages uh that he gives to miners but they can't [00:28:20] confirm which [00:28:21] is really interesting because why does a bank personnel yeah know these things [00:28:25] about Epstein what does that person now we're talking about massages he gets from underage girls [00:28:29] exactly wow what and so lot of this goes back to all also them [00:28:33] advising him on making these payments, because the indication is that they know he's making [00:28:37] these payments from eastern Europe and and in order [00:28:40] to pay girls off, send money to girls, send [00:28:44] money to his friends, and you mentioned Leon Black, Leon Black remember in 2022, he [00:28:48] had major lawsuit against him where he was accused of having [00:28:52] bitten woman getting a massage, there's some [00:28:55] very um graphic and and [00:28:59] violent allegations against Leon Black in connection to Jeffrey. Correct, and [00:29:03] he was working and coordinating very closely with Epstein, and these emails and even the [00:29:07] history, which is very public, is evident of that he was acting as an intermediary [00:29:11] to assist Black with his ex covering up his extramarital affairs with [00:29:14] Russian models or just even a Chinese models, American models that [00:29:18] he had allegations with, and likewise they shared very close relationship [00:29:22] exchanging money for favors and things like that. We're short on time, but there's a controversy in [00:29:26] CBS news over this regarding 60 minutes, can you tell us about that real quick? Yeah, [00:29:29] right, so the 60-minute correspondent uh share. Alfonse, she was the one that [00:29:33] sat down with Senator Whiden to interview him about his findings, um, her and Barry [00:29:37] Weise, you know, has taken over um, as abhead of CBS, [00:29:41] CBS, yes, um, they were having some editorial rifs after this, [00:29:45] she shelfed the entire episode for to not air, and [00:29:49] eventually uh, Alfonzi was actually fired, [00:29:52] yeah, we're thinking it's because these fins, Barry wise [00:29:56] keeps
