[00:09:01] a quiet adjustment to its temporary protection policy
[00:09:05] for Ukrainians. Not a big dramatic announcement, more of
[00:09:09] a little tweak the legal text that changes the
[00:09:13] reality completely for Ukrainians fleeing war.
[00:09:17] As of August 5th, protection now depends on whether you can prove that
[00:09:21] you're in compliance with your military obligations back
[00:09:24] home. Here's the official version. To this end,
[00:09:28] without prejudice to union law and fundamental rights, temporary
[00:09:32] protection should only be granted to individuals who can provide proof to
[00:09:36] member state authorities that they are, were applicable in compliance with
[00:09:40] their military obligations. so protection is no
[00:09:44] longer just about getting your behind
[00:09:47] out of a war zone, it also now means that you have to
[00:09:50] demonstrate that you're not getting out of it too
[00:09:53] effectively by avoiding the front line, and the EU
[00:09:57] is very clear about why, they don't want to weaken
[00:10:01] Ukraine's ability to defend itself. now that part
[00:10:04] sounds like this: it is therefore essential that the
[00:10:08] union continue to apply temporary protection a way that while
[00:10:12] Benefiting displaced persons does not negatively affect Ukraine's
[00:10:16] overall ability to best defend itself against Russia's war of
[00:10:19] aggression and to decide freely on the organization of its defense

[00:11:27] Ukrainians being psyched about fighting is apparently so
[00:11:31] badly in need of maintaining that Ukrainians now have to
[00:11:34] subject themselves to a Brussel's compliance
[00:11:38] exercise in order to prop it up. Because if
[00:11:42] everyone's rushing to the front voluntarily, then you
[00:11:45] don't really actually need to check to see if they're dodging
[00:11:49] the draft. You just assume that they're going because they're so
[00:11:53] gung-ho. But instead. EU has built a
[00:11:56] system for Ukrainians that now says, hey, look, we
[00:12:00] support you, but we'd also like some confirmation
[00:12:04] that you're not trying to dodge this war that we keep saying you're so
[00:12:08] psyched about fighting. Turns out that the EU member
[00:12:11] states are already operationalizing all of this, in the Czech
[00:12:15] Republic, for example, applicants will have to verify their
[00:12:19] Ukrainian military service status through an app before getting
[00:12:22] protection. Here's how that... is being framed. Our
[00:12:26] government has been pushing for tightening of temporary protection conditions for a
[00:12:30] long time, and I appreciate that we have managed to find agreement across
[00:12:34] member states. This decision will reduce the number of new

[00:25:31] past us, so many them, two them hit me and another one hit my
[00:25:34] sister, unfortunately striking her in the chest and causing great pain.
[00:25:38] incidents like this are not isolated, figures coming out from
[00:25:42] one jewish organization, the religious freedom data center
[00:25:46] show that this is a worrying trend. it says that's
[00:25:50] anti-Christian attacks, incidents against Christians
[00:25:54] have nearly dobled in the past three months. Between April
[00:25:58] and June, 83 incidents were recorded. That was up from
[00:26:01] 44 reports.
[00:26:02] in the first three months of this year, so what's the root cause of this
[00:26:06] violence coming from a small but growing section of
[00:26:10] Israeli society? everything now is very tense and
[00:26:13] very oriented towards Jewish, unfortunately,
[00:26:17] I must say, supremacy. there's a feeling, especially in the
[00:26:21] last three years and since the Hamas attack
[00:26:25] on Israel, there's a lot of
[00:26:29] nervousness that turn... people's mind

[00:26:41] the rest the world. Christianity is only learned through the traumas
[00:26:44] and the realistic traumas the Jewish people. The only
