[00:00:00] a continent of opportunity, equality and progress [00:00:04] for every child, woman and man. [00:00:07] of this is our [00:00:09] of Africa, and the future is in our [00:00:12] hands. [00:00:27] Russia closes all of its beaches in the resort. [00:00:31] as active air [00:00:32] of defense operations counter drone threats to the area, earlier [00:00:36] Ukrainian attack on the black [00:00:37] of sea coastline killed eight civilians, also [00:00:41] distressing images [00:00:42] me ahead, [00:00:49] of [00:00:51] of a no safe space left in Ukraine, [00:00:55] Kiyev's mobilization enforces brutally assault a [00:00:58] teenager [00:00:59] in a... beating his girlfriend as they drag the [00:01:02] 19-year-old out of a stopped [00:01:05] of vehicle and Tucker Carlson launches his 10-point [00:01:09] vision for America promising to break the traditional two-party strangle [00:01:13] hold on US [00:01:14] of politics. Our panel of guests ways in on whether the shift is [00:01:18] actually feasible. Are people [00:01:21] of willing to actually put in the work that goes [00:01:24] of beyond the money. Populism is the name [00:01:26] of the game at this point. We see populist and insurgent candidates. [00:01:30] and political movements all throughout the world, especially uh in the [00:01:33] west. the two main parties, the Republicans and Democrats were virtually [00:01:37] identical in many, many [00:01:38] ways. [00:01:53] here on RT air defense operations to counter Ukrainian [00:01:57] drone threats are currently active in Russia's south. Beaches [00:02:01] across popular resort towns like Gallinjik, Kabardinka and [00:02:04] Divn Morscoya have been closed, according to local [00:02:07] official. Well, that's as last week, a Ukrainian [00:02:11] drone hit a packed tourist beach in gelenjek, killing eight [00:02:15] people, half [00:02:16] of of them children. Witnesses [00:02:18] of the attack pointed out there were no military installations [00:02:21] nearby. Well, meanwhile, Moscow's [00:02:24] forces have taken control [00:02:26] of the settlement of Ivanovka in Ukraine's Harkov region according. [00:02:30] to defense [00:02:30] of ministry report. In the city of Odessa, Russian [00:02:34] UAVs struck two dry cargo vessels at sea, which [00:02:38] were delivering weapons and military equipment to [00:02:41] in Ukrainian ports. Earlier, Russia's Mod confirmed two more [00:02:44] naval tankers were destroyed [00:02:46] of in the Black Sea. And overnight, Russia's armed [00:02:50] forces carried out massive strikes on military enterprises in [00:02:54] a the Ukrainian capital. The group strike was launched with [00:02:57] ground-based high precision weapons. The Firepoint [00:03:00] industrial facility which builds components and warheads for Ukraine's [00:03:04] Flamingo ground-launched [00:03:06] of cruise missiles was targeted. Meanwile, [00:03:10] Ukraine's brutal conscription campaign has [00:03:12] of reached new lows. In Odessa, teenager was beaten and dragged [00:03:16] out of taxi by local recruitment officers depite [00:03:20] of despite his girlfriend's attempts to save him from Kiev's forced [00:03:23] mobilization. [00:03:50] me of [00:04:00] of Well Keyevs draconian conscription practices have [00:04:03] of sparked outrage across Ukraine, the public [00:04:06] of has also spoken out about widespread corruption and other [00:04:09] damaging policies the Zelinsky government has adopted. The [00:04:13] frustrations were laid bear [00:04:14] in a new [00:04:16] of sociological poll which RTS Ferita Singotilina breaks [00:04:18] down. If there's anything that Ukrainians are more fit up with [00:04:22] than drone attacks and [00:04:23] of the of war of itself, it's corruption, and that's been confirmed by new [00:04:27] poll which shows that over 49%. percent [00:04:30] of the population see [00:04:32] of graft as the country's biggest hurdle. now one thing to keep in mind [00:04:36] is who carried out the survey. sosus, the center [00:04:39] responsible for the poll, was founded by a political strategist who [00:04:43] worked for years with former pro-western [00:04:45] presidentko. while his involvement may cast [00:04:49] doubt over the survey's [00:04:51] of impartiality, one thing is clear. this [00:04:54] of poll does send message. apart from revealing that Kiev's [00:04:57] policies such as forced mobilization. are seen as a bigger problem [00:05:01] than losing territory to Russia, it shows that the easiest way to [00:05:05] hit Zelensky where it hurts is to call out the corruption plaguing his [00:05:09] government. Here's a stark reminder that in Ukraine. Seems like [00:05:13] everyone wants their cut. Just look at the most recent case: one day you're [00:05:17] Ukraine's ambassador in Washington, and the next you're explaining why the [00:05:21] apartments, luxury properties, and Mercedes you paid for weren't [00:05:24] purchased under your name. Nabu and Sapo reported a [00:05:28] suspicion of ilicit enrichment of more than [00:05:30] $310,00 and of making false declarations. [00:05:34] According to the investigation, the person owned two apartments in the Finer Town [00:05:38] residential complex registered to a friend, worth almost 200. [00:05:43] The official income the suspect would not allow her to purchase such [00:05:47] property. According to Ukraine's national anti-corruption [00:05:50] Bureau, Alga Stephanitioner controlled a whole portfolio of [00:05:54] high-end assets, many of which were registered to other people. [00:05:58] Take for example, the apartment under close friend's name worth [00:06:01] around $250,000. Another [00:06:05] apartment registered to her mother, parking spaces and several commercial [00:06:09] premises in the same residential complex owned on paper by her [00:06:13] father, yet when she appeared in court, Stephanisyana said she could [00:06:17] not afford bail. I am unable to pay the bail [00:06:21] out of my own funds, even if I were to find a way to do so, I would be unable [00:06:25] to provide for my family. Another famous case involves a former air [00:06:29] force logistics commander Andre Ukrainetz. According to [00:06:33] prosecutors, he somehow managed to acquire six apartments, three [00:06:36] houses, six plots of land and four cars, all a [00:06:40] government salary, and then... Ukrainian investigators found [00:06:44] luxury apartments in bal linked the head of a military food [00:06:48] supply unit, a low-ranking commander. In fact, the major had [00:06:52] purchased luxury properties worth [00:06:53] $190,000. [00:06:57] Let's get started. You gave us the money, you already did that, forget about it. I'll [00:07:01] deal with it now. We want to congratulate you, we really wish you successful [00:07:05] investment, and we saved the biggest hall for last [00:07:09] in 2025, apparently the hardest challenge for. key [00:07:12] officials wasn't stealing cash, it was lifting [00:07:16] it. nebu's graft investigation into energy sector bureaucrats [00:07:20] brought this recording to light where the suspects complained about hauling [00:07:24] around heavy boxes. how did you manage to carry the [00:07:27] box to him? well it wasn't that hard. no, what [00:07:31] box did he give you? it has a handle like laptop, but wrapped [00:07:35] up. that's it. added some stuff to it because took million and gave [00:07:39] 1.6 million in the same box, but carrying... 1.6 [00:07:43] million, all this way is such a drag. so [00:07:46] Ukraine's anti-corruption agency certainly has more than enough [00:07:50] its plate, be it the former ambassador to the US or a low-ranking [00:07:54] commander, everyone has their own illegal income scheme, and for [00:07:58] Ukrainians, it's just another war that can't be [00:08:01] won. Iran says it will [00:08:05] decide the future of shipping in the straight of hormos as it warns foreign [00:08:08] actors to stay out of its negotiations with oman. [00:08:12] comes as Washington claims the critical waterway will soon [00:08:16] reopen, but passage for American ships is apparently not [00:08:19] guaranteed. I think shortly, maybe even [00:08:23] today, tomorrow we are going to see see an agreement [00:08:27] at 360-day ceasefire and [00:08:31] um straight will be open, energy prices should come [00:08:34] down. The enemy will be forced to accept Iran's conditions to [00:08:38] reopen the straight and must refrain from the interference in the negotiation. [00:08:42] currently taking place between Iran, Oman and other countries, which have [00:08:46] nearly reached their conclusion. They must accept Iran's [00:08:49] conditions. Whenever America accepts Iran's conditions, the straight [00:08:53] of Homus will certainly be reopened. We're shipping [00:08:57] through the choke point has been onhold for a month after fresh hostilities between [00:09:01] Iran and the US saw most traffic frozen. Iranian state [00:09:05] media report only eight ships passed through the straight on [00:09:09] Friday. Iran says it's... close to reaching a deal [00:09:13] with Oman on the legal framework to manage the straight of Hormus, [00:09:17] specifically concerning future shipping roots, the new plan is [00:09:21] believed to give Toron full control of all maritime activity in the [00:09:24] straight. Iranian state media has revealed a number [00:09:28] the deal's details citing source in [00:09:31] parliament. Well, the document states that [00:09:35] entry of US in Israeli ships will be banned as well as vessels from countries [00:09:39] with sanctions on Iran. Violators would reportedly be hit with [00:09:43] penalties of up to 20% the cargo's value. For [00:09:46] its part, the revolutionary guard will decide on tariffs for providing [00:09:50] security, something the US vehemently opposes. An Iranian [00:09:54] academic says relentless American aggression forced Toron to [00:09:58] act. The US is not going to like that, but they have [00:10:02] other choice. They can go back to war and they will get [00:10:06] hit more. So they need to realize that they are not going [00:10:09] to have the this. state of formus used [00:10:13] in the manner that they have used it in the past it is a strategic [00:10:17] and also Iran has other choice, the United States used a state [00:10:21] of formus to attack Iran, they used. [00:10:25] of almost to build these bases in the Persian Gulf, it's [00:10:29] Iran's right, under [00:10:32] the UN charter, article 51, to defend itself [00:10:35] when Iran is attacked, and under [00:10:38] un conventional law of seas ships that [00:10:42] pass through these states are supposed to do innocent passage, [00:10:46] and if you are attacking a country, killing it civilians, killing [00:10:49] its leaders, attacking its [00:10:53] infrastructure, obviously you are not... anything innocent and [00:10:57] Iran is going to exercise that right under international [00:11:00] law to make sure that US behaves properly and [00:11:04] Iran is not endangered [00:11:06] by the United States. Well, even as tensions rise over the [00:11:10] straight of hormoos, Pakistan's defense ministry has announced that [00:11:13] Muslims should unite to face the threat of West [00:11:17] Jerusalem. When it comes to Israel, all [00:11:21] Muslim countries should come together, there is absolutely no ambiguity. [00:11:25] in my mind about that, in my view, there is no room for disagreement on [00:11:28] this, and until the issue the Palestinian people is resolved, according [00:11:32] to their aspirations, until there is a permanent solution, the issue [00:11:36] will remain. well, that comes as Turkia, [00:11:40] Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia have signed a joint defense [00:11:44] pact. the agreement establishes a collective framework whereby an [00:11:48] armed attack any one them will be treated as an attack on [00:11:51] all three. signed in Mecca, the document ties [00:12:25] Together, the three countries could be a significant combined power, [00:12:29] with Pakistan providing nuclear deterrant, Saudi Arabia, [00:12:33] financial might, and Turkia, a large battle tested [00:12:36] military. The pact could therefore give all sides capabilities, they [00:12:40] would struggle to provide on their own. Meanwile, Toron's foreign minister [00:12:44] has backed calls for Muslim countries to unite and become [00:12:48] stronger. Iran's powerful [00:12:52] armed forces have shown their readiness, capability, might in face [00:12:55] the world's most expensive military, when Muslims stand [00:12:59] together, we can face every challenge by malicious outsiders head on, [00:13:03] time to rely only on ourselves and embrace true [00:13:06] brotherhood. We can discuss this [00:13:09] now live with editor and chief the Islamabad telegraph, [00:13:13] Casbar Klas. Casbar, good to have you on the program. You know, for [00:13:16] decades, global security has largely been shaped by the US, [00:13:20] Russia, and China, and now we have this new pact that combines three [00:13:24] prominent nations. in the muslim world, do you think that we're seeing the emergence [00:13:28] of new global power [00:13:35] pointed out that the three powerful countries the muslim world [00:13:39] have joined hand together and as you have just [00:13:42] said that attack any one these countries will [00:13:46] be pronounced as attack on all the and this is highly [00:13:50] significant and let tell you that this is not [00:13:53] an a brought decision by the three [00:13:56] powers rather they have been deliberating, they have been meeting in [00:14:00] the past and for for a couple of years the deliberation has been [00:14:04] going on and they just concluded and the timing is really [00:14:08] important, [00:14:08] you know the Iranian has attacked the territory a [00:14:12] couple of times in followed by the US Iran war and also [00:14:16] same in the condition that how these have fired misals on [00:14:20] on the territory of you know Saudi Arabia as well Saudi Arabia is [00:14:24] the "it the center the Muslim world timing [00:14:27] and so is really important I think this is really one the [00:14:31] best decision that the three countries had taken [00:14:35] and apart that apart from that the most [00:14:38] important most significant you know the [00:14:42] statement has just come from the secretary of organization [00:14:46] of Islamic countries not only they spotted it but also [00:14:50] they endorsed it I think this is the right time that the Muslim [00:14:53] world is" going to unite against common threat [00:14:57] and definitely not the Saudi Arabia, not Pakistan in Turkey [00:15:01] but Muslim world will be the beneficialy of this agreement [00:15:05] and you know Turkey is is the member of [00:15:09] NATO, Pakistan is the America you know [00:15:13] the Muslims only nuclear power and has one [00:15:16] the power most powerful [00:15:19] military and also it's economic power when it comes to [00:15:23] discuss Saudi Arabia. so I think this [00:15:26] patter is not only going to benefit the three but also it is [00:15:30] going to beneficial for the entire Muslim world as well [00:15:34] so there's been no official reaction yet from W [00:15:37] Jerusalem, but in February the former Israeli prime minister and of taliben [00:15:41] accused Turkey of trying to create a quote hostile sunni [00:15:44] access with Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, in light of [00:15:48] this pact that's now been signed, how justified do you think his claims [00:15:52] are? well yes, very good [00:15:55] question and when it come to discuss the the [00:15:59] brotherhood and the you know the cooperation [00:16:03] bet Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, they have been [00:16:06] brotherly the... have been cooperating in the since [00:16:10] 1947 the the time Pakistan came into being [00:16:13] and it's Saudi Arabia has stand up with the [00:16:17] Pakistani side whenever needed let tell you and [00:16:21] the same is the condition when we talk about Turkish and Saudi [00:16:24] Arabia relationship let me draw your attention to the [00:16:28] one the biggest deal that happened between the two countries in [00:16:32] 2023 Saudi Arabia important [00:16:36] sophisticated drawn t technology, drones and and and [00:16:39] sophisticated weapons from from [00:16:42] Turkia in 2023, that was actually the point [00:16:46] when the two side peak their bilateral [00:16:49] relationship, so I believe [00:16:51] it is something [00:16:53] this packet, trilateral packet is something that has [00:16:56] translated from the bilateral relationship to the trilateral [00:17:00] relationship and and I am getting some [00:17:04] insight from my source not only Islamabad and from [00:17:08] riyad as well that there is a consent [00:17:11] that this pact will attract some other [00:17:15] nations as well and yeah you are rightly pointed [00:17:18] out some the powerful western countries [00:17:22] have been [00:17:24] you know raising finger on on this fact as well but one thing is very [00:17:27] interesting let tell you that Pakistan inj [00:17:31] relationship with with Trump administration same is the [00:17:35] condition with the Turkey as well but was [00:17:39] received with with with you know open rounds by the [00:17:42] trump administration as well and they are selling up 35 st [00:17:46] aircraft to turkey as well so they have good [00:17:49] relationship with with the trump administration as well and [00:17:53] united states is you know the power when it [00:17:57] come to the discuss the western power as well so this [00:18:00] try lateral this strika this pact mecca pact is [00:18:04] actually have been endorsed long. a time [00:18:08] ago, it has been endorsed by the Trump administration as [00:18:12] well, all the three countries are actually very close to Trump [00:18:16] administration as well, this is how this is [00:18:20] you know why the the [00:18:23] the you know the negative point from the western [00:18:27] world is not taken into consideration by the [00:18:31] Trump administration as well, so this is just the beginning, I think [00:18:34] this macca pact is not only [00:18:37] acceptable by the Trump administration [00:18:40] but also later on more most of more the [00:18:44] Islamic countries will join them and also if [00:18:47] any you know negative points that that may [00:18:51] come from the western side they will be neutralized by the Trump [00:18:55] administration as well so in all respects this tax [00:18:59] is actually you receiveed with open loss not [00:19:03] only by the western world but also from Trump administration and [00:19:06] also from the organization of Islamic countries as well, this is the [00:19:10] win-win situation. So Pakistan's defense minister said that [00:19:14] all Muslim nations must unite against Israel. What are your [00:19:18] thoughts on those remarks? Do you think that's something that could be possible? Could [00:19:21] Israel be a uniting factor for the Muslim [00:19:25] world? Well, let tell you, there is [00:19:29] no denying, every country in the world [00:19:32] believe that you know the Israelis [00:19:36] are the center of... even when we come when we [00:19:39] talk about the current situation there in middle east that has we have [00:19:43] come to this point just because of Israel and it was [00:19:47] Israel that actually prompted [00:19:50] sorry the trump administration to unlease attack on [00:19:54] Iran and now we are facing another cast of tropic in middle [00:19:57] is one point and secondly khaja asif the defense minister one the [00:20:01] powerful minister in Pakistan and he has been [00:20:05] very close to the military and very close to you know the [00:20:09] civilian administration of Pakistan as well when he says [00:20:12] that the Israelis or the apex center [00:20:16] of evil it means Pakistan's military [00:20:19] establishment Pakistan civilian and also the 24 [00:20:23] million to 40 million people of Pakistan are on the same page [00:20:27] when it comes to discus Israel and also the organization of Islamic [00:20:31] country most the countries are the part of this OEC they [00:20:34] believe that Israel or the apex. center [00:20:38] Israeli or the center of evil on earth [00:20:42] and has times and again pointing out that organization [00:20:46] of Islamic country will have to form a grand. [00:20:50] alliance against the [00:20:52] Israelis as well, I think this is gonna happen very soon as well and Pakistanis [00:20:56] and most the Muslim worlds, millions the people across [00:21:00] the muslim world believe in Khaj Assad statement as well, Pakistan has [00:21:04] been stating that no diplomatic [00:21:07] relationship can be formed with Israelies [00:21:11] until the Israel give self the [00:21:15] right of self determination to the people of Gaza to the people [00:21:19] of. so this is [00:21:21] a that line not only for Pakistan defense minister [00:21:25] for but organization of Islamic country most the Islamic [00:21:28] country are have joined Pakistan when it [00:21:32] comes to discuss the faith of palestinian, [00:21:35] this is right, let me tell you that Pakistan and [00:21:38] majority the Muslim world will never ever [00:21:42] accept Israel until Israel give right of self [00:21:45] determination to the Palestinian and the Palestinian. [00:21:50] state and kh remark statement have [00:21:54] been well received not only by the pakistanis but [00:21:57] also if i say i will not [00:22:00] ver that actually represented millions [00:22:04] the muslim [00:22:06] the people across of and he was well received okay we're going to [00:22:09] leave there that's editor and chief the islamabad telegraph [00:22:19] already looking beyond Iran, growing opinions in Israeli strategic [00:22:23] circle suggest Turkia could be the next target. [00:22:27] On the latest episode of going underground here on RT, Afsen Ratansi speaks [00:22:30] to Professor Hassan Unal to explore how this view is being received [00:22:34] in Ankara. The full conversation airs later today. Meanwhile, here's [00:22:38] a quick preview. Does uh [00:22:42] Erdowan realize that Israel has Turkia uh in [00:22:45] its sights as the next target after Iran [00:22:49] uh... does does Turkey understand that? Well, I [00:22:53] would think it does, um, but on the other [00:22:56] hand, um, I would say that Israel is a [00:23:00] bit, [00:23:01] you know, talking a bit too much about, [00:23:04] you know, boasting about this and the other, [00:23:07] and [00:23:08] the next target is going to be Turkey, oh, certainly [00:23:12] trying to punch much higher than their weight, you know, [00:23:16] how are you going to basically strike Turkey if you do? [00:23:20] that then you are going to basically and it is like [00:23:24] poking into the into the [00:23:28] beast nest basically a [00:23:31] region which is already very very [00:23:33] volatile said about Iran beforehand [00:23:37] when no one thought they were going to do this yep yep and particularly [00:23:41] after basically Iran gave them a bloody [00:23:45] nose I mean talking in [00:23:48] such a ch'. this way saying that Turkey is going to be [00:23:52] the next target, and okay, the Turkish [00:23:56] institutions, the military, the intelligence and [00:23:59] all the other related institutions basically do their [00:24:02] job, but politically you don't take them serious, would [00:24:06] you? [00:24:11] the senior united nations official has allegedly been caught feeding [00:24:15] confidential UN data to Israel, the [00:24:19] allegation center on Yahav Lichtner, a former [00:24:22] Israeli diplomat who served in the UN system before taking up his current [00:24:26] post as UNICEF's Washington director. leaked [00:24:30] correspondence reportedly shows him sharing internal UN reports [00:24:33] and arranging private briefings with Israeli officials were [00:24:37] working at the organization. Revelations are now raising questions [00:24:41] over whether his previous ties to Israel were ever properly [00:24:44] scrutinized. RT received an official response from UNICEF regarding [00:24:48] this issue. UNICEF is aware of serious [00:24:51] allegations concerning an employee and is taking the appropriate action. [00:24:55] If true, such actions would be inconsistent with staff obligations under the [00:24:59] UN charter, the staff regulations [00:25:01] and the standards of conduct for the international civil service, all of which [00:25:05] emphasize that the responsibilities of staff are international, not [00:25:08] national, and which call for the independence and impartiality the staff [00:25:12] the UN. A UN consultant at the International [00:25:16] Association for human rights and social development told us. has [00:25:20] been allowed to act outside the norms of international [00:25:23] law. the later emails show that [00:25:27] a senior UNICEF official in Washington [00:25:30] shared confidential UN information with [00:25:34] Israeli diplomats. this is not one bad [00:25:38] appal [00:25:39] as as it could be mentioned. this is a proof that Israel has [00:25:43] been infiltrating the UN for years. an [00:25:46] agency that should protect children was instead. [00:25:50] helping a state that is killing thousand of children in [00:25:54] Gaza, the UN is not in this case and in this sense [00:25:57] neutral, it has uh been captured by the current [00:26:01] system. and unfortunately by the sionist [00:26:05] interests as well, so Israel is not hiding one [00:26:09] secret, I think it is hiding a [00:26:12] system of crimes, the spine happened during the UN [00:26:16] investigation of Israel's 2014 war on [00:26:20] Israel where over [00:26:23] 2,200 palestinian were killed, [00:26:26] Israel wanted to stop the investigation before it [00:26:30] started, today ' Israel is doing the same [00:26:34] thing but a much more large scale [00:26:37] a genocide in Gaza with more than 50,000 [00:26:41] deaths. Israel spice not to hide one fact, [00:26:45] but to destroy accountability itself. it [00:26:49] believe it is above all international law, and the [00:26:53] worst lets it believe [00:26:54] that. conservative [00:26:58] journalist Tucker Carlson has unveiled a 10-point vision for the future. [00:27:03] of America. He aims to break away from the traditional US [00:27:07] two-party system and forge a third political [00:27:09] path. Tucker's manifesto focuses [00:27:13] heavily on domestic matters ranging from public health and urban [00:27:17] planning to procreation and education. Meanwhile, his [00:27:21] foreign policy outlook dictates that the US should strictly steer clear of [00:27:25] foreign interventions and avoid unnecessary wars. He placed a [00:27:29] particular emphasis on distancing the country from military and and [00:27:32] financial involvement with Israel. Ultimately, Carlson is [00:27:36] questioning why the agendas of America's two opposing parties are hardly [00:27:40] distinguishable. On the issues that really [00:27:43] matter, the most obvious [00:27:46] and historically significant expressions the exersion of power, which [00:27:50] would be foreign policy and the budget, tax code. [00:27:54] The parties are aligned, they're the same, they have the same agenda, exactly the same agenda, and they [00:27:58] go through this whole song and dance to convince us, no, we're really blood enemies. but are they [00:28:02] really? no, they're not. prior to sharing his goal for [00:28:06] America, Tucker Carlson fueled the political fire storm by hosting [00:28:10] magaways at his estate, among them were Marjery Taylor [00:28:14] Green, Thomas Massie, and former counter terrorism chief Joe [00:28:17] Kent. all them recently had falling out with Trump, claiming the [00:28:21] president compromised the America first doctrine. we asked panel [00:28:25] of guests what it would take to create genuine multi-party system in the [00:28:29] United States. look to find to found. [00:28:33] an actual third party, it takes lots of money, because the two [00:28:37] main parties, the republicans and democrats were virtually identical in many [00:28:40] many ways, the one thing they do agree on more than all is to [00:28:44] collude to prevent anyone on the ballot who will [00:28:48] threaten them who threaten their supremacy, so it takes a lot of money, it takes a [00:28:52] lot of work, getting on balance is extremely difficult, yes of [00:28:56] course money is resource, but the ultimate resource is needed is people's [00:29:00] willingness, are people willing to? actually put in the work that [00:29:04] goes beyond the money and I think with people being fed up and the [00:29:07] energy being there, it's completely possible to start something completely [00:29:11] new and independent that can take off. the two-party system [00:29:15] historically in in US electoral politics has been rigged uh, we [00:29:19] have a 50 state, 50, the 50 states divise their own election [00:29:22] rules and ballot access and signatures [00:29:26] required, also there is the financial considerations that daniel was mentioning [00:29:30] earlier, so it requires money, requires uh institutions and [00:29:34] structures and you have to reach certain thresholds that are not aligned across the [00:29:37] entire US. well, Jose of those who have made some sort of [00:29:41] impact in the past, that those as as we've heard there, [00:29:45] that core ideology of third party candidates, do they [00:29:49] really diverge from the existing platforms the [00:29:52] Republican and Democratic parties? uh, well, [00:29:56] yes, actually, and I think a lot of [00:29:58] it is because you see it with the insurgent democrats that are... [00:30:02] coming into power now. there are many criticisms you can make [00:30:06] them, but what they are seen as is insurgent force that is [00:30:09] coming in and overtaking the democratic party, [00:30:13] and uh, what are they saying? they're saying medicare for all, they're saying no [00:30:17] money for Israel, um, and they are calling out democratic [00:30:21] leadership, but that is the kind of energy that people want to see right [00:30:25] now coming out of, both the democratic party and the [00:30:28] republican party, and I think what's going to be pivotal in getting a... [00:30:32] third party elected is a third force, which means that you'll [00:30:36] have individuals who will run in the republican parties, in the democratic [00:30:39] parties, but ultimately are committed to an idea of [00:30:42] independence and away from the power structures that exist now. i [00:30:46] think Jose makes a great point, which is we're thinking in terms of [00:30:50] a political party, new political party, whereas it might [00:30:54] actually be a political faction or voluntary [00:30:58] set of set of...
