[00:00:02] of [00:00:08] of [00:00:15] of of [00:00:18] of [00:00:24] The Russian capital comes under heavy Ukrainian drone attack [00:00:27] overnight, but several [00:00:29] a people were build in the Moscow region while [00:00:33] of a residential building and an oil refinery were also [00:00:35] struck and this comes while Russians [00:00:39] are going to the poles for the third and final day [00:00:42] of the nationwide state Duma elections, but we're here to bring you [00:00:46] our special coverage as the world's biggest country has its [00:00:50] democratic say, and [00:00:54] of that is my vote, one of tens of millions being [00:00:58] cast around the donbass. but with every vote cast in the [00:01:01] Dombas, the people [00:01:04] of the Dumbas show that those threats don't [00:01:08] scare them. Russian citizens go to the polls all [00:01:11] across [00:01:12] of the country, even areas facing daily shelling and threats [00:01:16] from Kiyev. Generally speaking, it is very difficult [00:01:20] to intimidate me, it's just not in my nature. [00:01:23] of Firstly, I don't recognize the landscate all, and I don't watch him on TV. [00:01:27] As for scammers, they've already left me alone. we have lived too long to be [00:01:31] intimidated. [00:01:40] now [00:01:40] of welcome to RT international, reaching you with all the top stories from around [00:01:44] the world. i am mike [00:01:46] in oche. now we start this hour with the breaking [00:01:50] news. as the third day of [00:01:52] of parliamentary elections are on the way across Russia. moscow's mayor said [00:01:56] more than 1,600 UAVs were shown. shut [00:02:00] down overnight, adding that 450 drones were [00:02:05] a intercepted on approaching to the capital. now Sergi Sob [00:02:08] Sobianin says that he [00:02:11] of has called the attack unprecedented, saying that he was intended [00:02:14] to disrupt elections. the most [00:02:18] massive [00:02:18] of enemy drone attack has been repelled [00:02:20] of since yesterday. over 1,600 UAVs have been shot down [00:02:24] across all sectors, including 450 [00:02:27] of while approaching Moscow. my thinks... go to the air [00:02:30] of defense personnel for their selfless efforts. Nevertheless, few drones [00:02:34] reached the Moscow Oil refinery and one struck [00:02:38] of a residential building. There were no fatalities. This unprecedented [00:02:42] attack was clearly orchestrated to disrupt the elections. The [00:02:45] enemy failed in this [00:02:46] attempt. Now Art [00:02:50] correspondent Omaima is at the scene of one [00:02:53] of the attacks in Masker [00:02:54] of region where two people were killed and their children wounded. [00:02:58] Omar, I'm glad to have you. join me right now, but what do you [00:03:01] know so far about uh this [00:03:03] attacks? [00:03:08] well, as you've mentioned there, and as we heard from the Moscow [00:03:12] mayor himself, uh, Russian authorities have neutralized over [00:03:16] 1,600 [00:03:18] of drones of since Saturday, and the Mayor added that [00:03:21] 450 UAVs were intercepted on their way to the [00:03:24] Russian capital, was several [00:03:26] of drones hit the Moscow oil refinery as well as other residential. [00:03:30] buildings now these attacks were more uh or most destructive [00:03:34] in the Moscow region where three people were left uh were [00:03:37] killed uh and several were left injured including the number of [00:03:41] teenagers and three children now uh the wounded [00:03:44] are in hospitals getting the [00:03:46] of necessary uh care possible but uh [00:03:50] 400 other people including 70 [00:03:56] of of children were also evacuated from other residential building uh because falling drone debries parked fire [00:04:00] there, still in the Moscow region a warehouse also [00:04:04] caught fire [00:04:05] of because of a drone. now due to these [00:04:08] of events, flight restrictions have been implemented in all four Moscow [00:04:13] of airports, but uh Ukrainian uh, the Ukrainian armed forces have also [00:04:17] attacked the Zaparoje region where a drone a Ukrainian [00:04:20] dr drone struck a school, there [00:04:23] a were polin [00:04:24] of station was located. fortunately no casualties have been reported there [00:04:28] because [00:04:28] of there were no people uh in the building at the time [00:04:31] of the attack itself. meanwhile, on the other hand, in the [00:04:35] Herson region a [00:04:37] of drone attacked a bus, a Ukrainian drone attacked a bus, [00:04:40] leaving two people killed, one of which was [00:04:44] member [00:04:45] of the electoral commission [00:04:46] there. [00:04:50] today, september 20th, as [00:04:52] a result of a targeted drone attack a civilian bus in the cason region, [00:04:56] two people were killed. one [00:04:57] of the victims was our colleague. [00:05:01] born in 1966, member [00:05:02] of the precinct electoral commission for polling station number 220 in the [00:05:06] lower Saragor district [00:05:07] of the Kson region. was member [00:05:10] of the present electoral commission 2023 and actively [00:05:14] participated in the current election campaign for the state dumer elections, [00:05:17] engaging with many of her neighbors, fellow citizens and compatriots while [00:05:21] honestly, responsibly and bravely fulfilling her duties. she was [00:05:25] involved in conducting early voting in the lower Saragor district the Kson [00:05:28] region. her daughter, Elena Petrovna, is also member the precinct electoral [00:05:32] commission. As I mentioned before, I will repeat it once more, despicable, [00:05:36] cowardly bandera scum, who are afraid to fight like men and truly [00:05:40] engage in warfare, target our peaceful people, primarily women and [00:05:43] children. I believe that shame will fall upon them and each one them will be [00:05:46] found. Our strong spirited colleagues continue to [00:05:49] work. The Russian investigative committee has [00:05:53] stated that they've opened criminal cases related to uh [00:05:57] these terror acts from Ukraine, including in Briansk, [00:06:01] kursk, Vorunyej [00:06:02] and the Belgorod regions where two other people were killed because [00:06:06] these Ukrainian attacks. Now the massive raid that struck [00:06:10] Moscow and the Moscow region. for instance, it struck [00:06:14] just hours before polling stations were set to open in [00:06:18] the capital, but despite these attacks, as we've as we [00:06:22] understand, the 1,443 polling stations in [00:06:25] Moscow did open on time, overnight the [00:06:29] Russian armed forces also have launched UAVs against [00:06:33] logistical centers, warehouses and ports in Ukraine as [00:06:37] well as vessels that are in operations with the [00:06:40] Ukrainian armed. now of course the timing of this [00:06:44] is very interesting because as we know the uh uh [00:06:47] parliamentary elections here in Russia are still taken place, we are on the third [00:06:51] day, the final day the elections and one could only think that [00:06:55] these attacks not only are blint acts of [00:06:59] terrorism against civilians themselves, but also a way to [00:07:03] try to disrupt the electoral process here in [00:07:05] Russia. All right, our correspond and [00:07:09] bringing us up to speed here. Thank you. [00:07:14] now let's cross live to former advisor to the prosecutor [00:07:17] general of Ukraine and ex-diplomat Andrejenko joining me [00:07:21] right now Andre, i'm glad to have you join me, so Kiev launched [00:07:25] a massive drone attack on Moscow overnight, just before [00:07:29] the final day of elections was said to kick off, what do you make [00:07:33] the timing? let me start from here, the timing [00:07:37] is to terrorize, terrorize the people so [00:07:41] they won't... taking part the election process, because [00:07:45] Ukraine doesn't have elections. I've been watching the clip right [00:07:48] before uh, we came live and how people are [00:07:52] voting, and it make me sad that in my [00:07:55] country we forgot what election is, Russia has [00:07:59] elections, countries around have elections and the key regime today is [00:08:02] terrorizing what is left of [00:08:04] democracy in Ukraine, there's none terrorizing the [00:08:08] country that are democratic and are are moving in this process. [00:08:12] and that is the main takeaway from this, terrorizing, terrorizing [00:08:16] and terrorizing because they cannot win on the frontlines, so they're trying to [00:08:20] hit what's uh uh, what's easy for them, the [00:08:23] civilians, and that's that is just heartbreaking for me to see [00:08:27] that my country that I was part of before, [00:08:31] Ukraine is just going into this direction, and it's been going there for the last [00:08:35] 12 years, unfortunately, and people are just waking [00:08:39] up recently from all this what's happened, [00:08:42] "Now Moscow's oil refinery was hit again and that's [00:08:46] despite the US president Donald Trump warning [00:08:49] Zelensky earlier not to target energy sites. Now [00:08:53] the question is, is this case of Zelensky blatantly [00:08:57] rebuffing Washington, or is Kiev taking orders from somewhere [00:09:01] else? look, it's a case you have to understand that the [00:09:04] politics, the president the United State Donald Trump unfortunately doesn't [00:09:08] have the full control the deep state. The CIA is continuing to..." [00:09:12] to assist in preparing these drone attacks and terrorist attacks [00:09:16] into the heart the Russian territories, the [00:09:19] MI6 is on the outsource of this, basically when [00:09:23] the CIA officially does want to touch its hands on this and say, oh we were not [00:09:27] involved in this, and tell President Trump that Ukraine is doing it its [00:09:31] own, the MI6 intelligence, that's [00:09:35] where is being told that they're being used in the situation, even though CIA, [00:09:38] Mi6 are both involved in this in these processes, the problem is... [00:09:42] the president of united states is being misinformed on [00:09:46] how the process is being done and who's giving the information for the key [00:09:50] regime to hit those targets because he clearly doesn't understand [00:09:53] that the key regime zelensky himself and his army doesn't have the [00:09:56] capability to have the [00:09:59] intelligence process to hit targets [00:10:02] within Russian territory Ukraine does not snow [00:10:06] nothing in [00:10:07] this in this sphere and that's why the help [00:10:10] of MI6. united states [00:10:14] and other probably european countries are involving this, but most i said it's the british in [00:10:18] the american states. now Zelensky has claimed [00:10:21] that he needs 40 days or 40 more days. to [00:10:25] take over Russia with Kyev launching drone [00:10:29] attacks on Moscow and the surrounding region, what do you [00:10:32] think the chances of such or success of such a [00:10:35] threat? we have to understand the timing for this is also [00:10:39] interesting, we have elections into the United States Congress and [00:10:43] senate within the next six weeks and Zelensky [00:10:46] announcing that he can overthrow and destruct destroy [00:10:50] Russia [00:10:51] with within these 40 days, he already announced this before during the summertime, nothing. [00:10:55] out [00:10:55] of it, thank god, and everybody understands that it's just [00:10:59] false information propaganda, but at the same time the crime [00:11:02] capabilities, they're going to try to move forward and terrorize and hit uh oil [00:11:06] refineries within Russia, civilian targets within [00:11:09] Russia, just to try to [00:11:12] show within the elections in the United [00:11:15] States who is boss here, that's one, second of all, they want to [00:11:19] disrupt and have the oil prices move up higher [00:11:23] for Trump and the mag and... to lose as much seats as [00:11:27] possible, because that's what what the end game is for Zelensky and his [00:11:30] globalist, deep state owners within Europe and the United [00:11:34] States for have the macgan movement to lose so they won't get more [00:11:37] funding for Ukraine, more financial support for the war, [00:11:41] so this war would continue, that is the end game for this, they don't care about [00:11:45] peace, they don't care about trump or allies, they just care about theirselfs [00:11:49] and the money pockets that are going to be filled when this thing is going to [00:11:53] continue - Meanwhile earlier Zelensky [00:11:56] announced astronomic deficit in the state budget and [00:12:00] pleaded the EU for more money to meet his war needs. Are [00:12:04] the attacks, the prediction of 40 days, the massive [00:12:07] deficit, what does this sound like to [00:12:10] you? They need to cover [00:12:13] up what has been stolen. The key regime is [00:12:17] stealing in high rates and not just hundreds of millions [00:12:21] and billions and billions of dollars every trying. [00:12:25] that is being moved to through Ukraine and we have to understand that money is not settled just [00:12:29] in the Zelensky's pockets, it's being moved back uh to the [00:12:33] west, which the globalist financiers the [00:12:36] German, French, British political campaigns, then reinvest [00:12:40] that money back into those uh globalis who are financing this war, [00:12:44] so it's a round around out situation, that's number one, Zsky has no [00:12:48] money, he he's pushing for uh for this gap [00:12:52] to be closed, he's announcing that he's gna defeat Russia [00:12:56] once again as he did for the last uh four and a half years [00:12:59] and nothing's changing, this is just to for continuation the war and [00:13:03] he understands another thing part of from the US [00:13:06] elections, he needs to stay in power because as soon as is [00:13:10] now his chair is crumbling and crumbling pretty fast and he as [00:13:14] soon as he loses power and loses this continuation of this [00:13:17] war or the momentum the continuation of this war he's gna be [00:13:21] replaced and that's the end for him not just political but physical [00:13:25] maybe [00:13:26] in in [00:13:26] the end process because his allies will not stand for him, so he needs to stay in [00:13:29] power, that's what he's doing for all means, cover any budget deficit, [00:13:33] because if he stops paying the people and the military, which I know from they're not getting [00:13:37] paid for the last three and a half, four months, the military, some military units [00:13:41] are not being paid, some pensioners are getting receiving their funds, so this is [00:13:45] process already going on Ukraine, and when it's going to start and [00:13:48] end is going to be physical, now when [00:13:52] do you think European leaders will have? enough of his [00:13:55] constant request for more cash, [00:13:59] the European leaders are receiving this cash back from [00:14:03] Ukraine back and forth, that's why they're closing their eyes on all the corruption [00:14:07] cases in Ukraine basically, they don't care what's happened, before [00:14:10] we remember corruption was going on and you would see [00:14:14] somebody moving in forward from the Yanikovic time taking a couple [00:14:18] of hundred dollars and Europe would just making frictional announcements etc. [00:14:22] now there's billions and millions of dollars have been stolen. they're being reported [00:14:26] by the anti-corruption agencies and Europe is quiet [00:14:29] because Europe understands they have no other way out, they're going [00:14:33] to continue to support this regime, change it if [00:14:37] if needed when the time is going to be right for them, they're just [00:14:41] waiting for a person who to change it to, they don't have the right character, [00:14:45] the right persona or the right puppet who they replace Zelensky [00:14:49] with at this time and then they will continue on, but Europe at the [00:14:53] same time is destroying so... [00:15:25] you just took the words out of my mouth there, because I was going to ask, Europe is facing [00:15:29] its own economic walls and recession, the US [00:15:32] budget deficit has reached almost two trillion dollars, [00:15:36] how much long can countries with terrible finances their [00:15:40] own continue to support Zelensky and his [00:15:43] wars? that is the biggest problem in the [00:15:47] situation that these leaders the the western [00:15:51] so-called countries are not thinking about [00:15:54] their own people, they're going and basically taking [00:15:58] loans a loan to give loan to [00:16:00] ukraine, [00:16:02] and this is not just just crazy, you would not do it personally [00:16:06] if you were regular. and you will not take a loan just to give [00:16:10] loan to your friend because you say i don't have money sorry i cannot help [00:16:13] you go ask somebody else and that's normal here they don't [00:16:17] care because they they're ready to destroy their own countries because [00:16:21] they're not willing to to support their own people they're controlled by the [00:16:25] globalists and that is not already conspiracy this is real fact we're [00:16:29] seeing from the results of what is happening in Europe total destruction [00:16:32] volkswagen bmw porsches closing down factories [00:16:36] industrialization of "germany [00:16:39] just be destroyed, finished, france is [00:16:41] and lack of economical default, and maybe next year that [00:16:45] might happen - things are not going to change with the elections, so the same time I say, [00:16:48] until the people of Europe will not vote in, the change of [00:16:52] politics on their own territories, change of political course [00:16:56] that was going to lead to peace, not war, this [00:17:00] destruction, not just of Ukraine, which is already destroyed unfortunately, [00:17:04] but next is going to come Europe, because those leaders are same as..." the [00:17:08] puppets of somebody else. All right, now we have to leave [00:17:11] you here now, former advisor to the prosecutor general of Ukraine and [00:17:15] ex-diplomat Andrejenko. Thank you so much for your time as [00:17:24] as well, as mentioned, it's the final day of [00:17:27] voting in Russia for the states Duma elections a pols are [00:17:31] open all across the country and abroad. The first preliminary [00:17:35] results are expected after 9. pm moscow time tonight, [00:17:39] the artist keen is been keeping close eye [00:17:43] on the polls with a special coverage bringing you all the latest [00:17:47] updates, [00:17:59] well as voting is in full swing on day three of [00:18:02] nationwide parliamentary elections and the scale the process [00:18:06] spanning across se 11 time zones is immense [00:18:09] with voter turnout coming close to 50%. now [00:18:13] Russian citizens are exercising their constitutional right to [00:18:17] define their future for the next five years. now with the country's new [00:18:21] regions, more than four million residents have cast their [00:18:25] ballots early elections with the process still ongoing. [00:18:29] now in the frontline republics of dunetsk and lugansk, [00:18:33] people are also heading to the polls to vote. locals [00:18:36] from the most iconic regions of Russia, Crimea, [00:18:40] are actively showing up to choose their representatives. In [00:18:44] addition, multiple polling stations are open in Russian [00:18:48] embassies, in many locations for Russian citizens who are [00:18:51] currently abroad. Now citizens the most remote [00:18:55] corners the country have also had the opportunity to have [00:18:59] their say in this election. The Russian aerospace [00:19:03] company Bureau 1440 has provided residence of a [00:19:06] small. settlement in the country's far north with access to [00:19:10] remote electronic voting, it has become possible with the [00:19:14] use of a low earth orbit satellite network a next [00:19:17] generation of satellite communication. other company [00:19:21] noted that such cases allow for the testing the service in real [00:19:25] conditions and in the arctic for future needs. now RT [00:19:29] correspondent Isabella Bloomberg brings the latest on the voting [00:19:33] process in Russia. across [00:19:36] 11. time zones here in Russia, voters are heading to the polls to [00:19:40] vote for the third and final day of Russia's parliamentary elections [00:19:44] and it's quite important also to highlight here that this these are the first [00:19:48] parliamentary elections we've seen since the start the special military [00:19:52] operation which was launched back in February 2022 [00:19:55] and for the first time in modern Russian history we're seeing citizens [00:19:59] from the Donatsklugansk people's Republic from Herson and Zaparoje cast [00:20:03] their ballot as Russian citizens and so let's also break. [00:20:07] on how these parliamentary elections actually work, because the state [00:20:11] dooma itself is is considered the lower chamber the federal [00:20:15] assembly, it consists of 400 400 seats [00:20:19] and these elections are held every five years. [00:20:22] 225 of those seats are distributed through party [00:20:26] lists. now what that means is that citizens are able to elect a [00:20:30] specific political party and 225 seats are [00:20:33] distributed through single mandate districts. now voters are able to... [00:20:37] has the vote or the ballot and select a specific political [00:20:41] candidate in their constituency or uh their district there as [00:20:45] well, but for a political party to be able to actually [00:20:48] reach the state duma It has to meet that 5% thresh [00:20:52] hold and now Russian parliamentary elections uh start on [00:20:56] September the 18th and finish today on September the 20th, so it gives [00:21:00] voters three days to cost their ballot. In terms of [00:21:03] who's actually in the race, there are currently 10 political [00:21:07] parties on the federal ballot, the first one being United Russia founded [00:21:10] in 2001, and a party that has enjoyed constitutional majority [00:21:14] for a while now, it's also President Putin's party, then we have [00:21:18] the Communist Party of... Russian federation, this is considered the oldest [00:21:22] party on the federal ballot, and also it's the second [00:21:26] largest faction in the duma. Then we have a just Russia for [00:21:29] truth, and Paul suggests that they will be able to meet that 5% threshold during these [00:21:33] elections as well, and we have the liberal democratic party of Russia, [00:21:37] currently chaired by Leonid Slotski after the death of its former [00:21:41] charismatic leader Vladimirsky back in 2021. And [00:21:45] of course we also have a relatively new party on the scene here, this [00:21:48] is uh... people founded in 2020 and curiously this [00:21:52] political party managed to get through to the duma back in [00:21:55] 2021, so it'l be interesting to monitor that, whether they'll be able to [00:21:59] actually, [00:22:00] you know, garner more than 5% the vote during these elections as well, but at the [00:22:04] same time there are also non-parliamentary parties on the ballot uh, for example the [00:22:08] pensionist party, the communists of russia, the greens, rodina, [00:22:12] and also the party the direct democracy, so to wrap [00:22:16] up h poll polling stations across russia close at [00:22:20] 8 p.m. local time according to Russia's western regions, [00:22:24] so we will be of course monitoring all these developments and bringing you the [00:22:27] details. other crucial vote is also [00:22:31] taking place in territories that are coming under daily attack, [00:22:35] but despite the threat posed by Ukraine, people say [00:22:38] that they are determined and their voices will be heard. the head [00:22:42] the Dunetsk republic has cast his vote at the local polling [00:22:46] station, noting that he met quite a few people who... [00:22:50] who wanted to vote in their first duma election. now [00:22:54] RTS Murad Gazdia reports on how the vote has been held [00:22:58] under wartime conditions. across two [00:23:02] continents and 11 time zones under ceaseless [00:23:06] threat of attack, Russians vote for their new [00:23:09] parliament. [00:23:20] "in their millions, despite constant threats [00:23:24] from Ukraine, threats of prosecution and [00:23:28] persecution, just [00:23:29] for vooting, attacks on pouling stations, fakes [00:23:33] and Ukrainian propaganda. Yesterday [00:23:37] and the day before, leaflets were dropped by drones across most of [00:23:40] our region, containing calls to block the electoral process [00:23:44] and urging people not to participate in the elections [00:23:47] every day we are seeing..." steady stream of two or three [00:23:51] disinformation campaigns coming from the Ukrainian side, along [00:23:55] with deep fakes and forged administrative documents, yet [00:23:59] few are afraid, people are used to drones [00:24:02] and missiles, verbal threats no longer [00:24:06] carry the same weight. tell me, have you been in [00:24:10] intimidated? did Zelensky threaten you saying you shouldn't go to these [00:24:14] elections, in no way, he can't do [00:24:17] anything. Of course not, general. speaking, [00:24:20] it is very difficult to intimidate me, it's just not in my [00:24:23] nature. God forbid, firstly, I don't recognize the [00:24:27] landscate all, and I don't watch him on TV. As for scammers, [00:24:31] they've already left me alone. We have lived too long to be [00:24:34] intimidated. And that [00:24:38] is my vote, one of tens of millions being [00:24:41] cast around the Donas in an environment where [00:24:45] people are actively being threatened, where electoral [00:24:49] officials... are receiving death threats, their families, their [00:24:53] children, but with every vote cast in the don [00:24:56] bass, the people the Dumbas show [00:25:00] that those threats don't scare them, not [00:25:03] even strongly worded statements and [00:25:07] condemnation could stop these elections. At [00:25:10] today's meeting, the central electoral commission adopted resolution declaring [00:25:14] that the organization and conduct of elections for deputies to the state duma [00:25:18] the Russian Federation in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine [00:25:22] are illegitimate. It is, of course, ironic that [00:25:26] Ukraine forbids Ukrainians from voting in these [00:25:29] Russian elections, because neither does it allow [00:25:33] Ukrainians themselves any elections. They're too [00:25:37] dangerous, says the former president of [00:25:40] Ukraine. Elections as such are huge [00:25:43] risk. Elections right now are a tsunami which could split [00:25:46] Ukraine. Again, the irony: Ukraine. [00:25:50] Professes to be fighting for freedom and democracy, but says [00:25:53] elections are too dangerous. Russia, which kier [00:25:57] accuses of aggression and tyranny holds elections even in [00:26:01] war. He's holding elections in September, he needs a [00:26:05] united society that will support his United [00:26:08] Russia. Zelenski on the other hand, doesn't need [00:26:12] his society support, his term expired two years [00:26:16] ago, and no one can do anything about it. [00:26:20] He already controls all Ukrainian media, all [00:26:23] newspapers and online publications, full [00:26:27] spectrum propaganda. Anyone who criticizes [00:26:30] him can be sanctioned. [00:26:41] ready to do it tomorrow, but if we have the war, it's [00:26:45] you can't do it, what elections, how to make elections with the 9 [00:26:49] million people who are abroad, and what to do with the people [00:26:52] who are temporary or live in tempor [00:26:56] occupied territories, europe of course will bend over [00:27:00] backwards to accommodate. [00:27:04] the EU's diplomatic figure head, is never one to [00:27:08] overthink it, simple and cliche is her [00:27:12] style. Putin hasn't had elections or Russia hasn't had [00:27:15] elections in 25 years, Zelensky is [00:27:19] elected leader, elected in [00:27:21] the free and fair elections, and of course during the wartime you [00:27:25] can't have elections, Zelensky's corrupt ministers, his [00:27:29] army heads simply don't mind. long as [00:27:33] the EU supports Zelensky, the aid money [00:27:37] pours in and it can be divided up and [00:27:40] shared around between friends. The only concern [00:27:44] is the people of Ukraine, forced brutally [00:27:48] to fight a war, they don't want to fight in by a [00:27:52] president, they don't want, blasted by [00:27:55] propaganda, they don't agree with, and there's [00:27:58] nothing they can do about it, but daydream. [00:28:02] "We must find legal, safe and realistic mechanism that will allow Ukraine to [00:28:06] restore a full-fledged democratic process even under the conditions of a [00:28:10] prolonged war. This is difficult. We must guarantee the right to vote [00:28:14] for our military, for millions of Ukrainians abroad, and for those in the [00:28:18] frontline regions. We must ensure the security the electoral [00:28:22] process, the independence of institutions, and trust in the [00:28:25] results. If Russia could do it, then so could [00:28:28] Ukraine, and the only thing stopping elections in [00:29:10] Well, and on such a day when elections are being held, he tried all the more to carry out such [00:29:14] terror in order to disrupt the elections, at least partially. [00:29:18] Moscow mayor Sobianin said that since the previous day around [00:29:21] 1,600 drones have been shot down. Yes, there is [00:29:25] certain damage, yes, there are even casualties. And the chairwoman [00:29:28] the Central Election Commission, Pamfilova stated that there were also... [00:29:32] fatalities among members of election commissions, but this will not stop the process [00:29:36] and most likely, this is such a petty spitefulness on [00:29:39] Zelensky's part over the fact that elections are taking place in Russia, [00:29:43] already the second elections during the special military operation, while Ukraine [00:29:47] cannot organize such elections at all, so how do [00:29:50] you think Moscow might react to these Ukrainian attacks given that they're [00:29:54] taking place during these elections? I [00:29:58] think that it will be very harsh, all the more so since at one time Russian. [00:30:11] have been monitored by more than 1ous international observers from [00:30:15] 133 countries, including bricks, nation and partners, [00:30:19] turkey, Uganda, Kirgisstan and others. Footage [00:30:23] here shows the moment of a friendly conversation between one [00:30:26] the foreigners and earderly Russian woman at the polling station [00:30:30] in the city of Yacaterinburg. Now a man in the video is [00:30:34] Muntaza Al Zaidi, the prominent Iraqi journalist [00:30:38] who achieved worldwide fame when he threw his shoe at [00:30:42] George W. Bush 18 years ago in protest against [00:30:46] the US war on his country. [00:30:49] Now voting is even happening in places you wouldn't [00:30:53] expect. Rosa Tom head Alexis Lishakev was [00:30:57] able to cast his ballot at the nuclear power plant.
