[00:00:15] of [00:00:19] The hoodis one shipping companies and airlines to not [00:00:23] enter Saudi airspace, others comes after [00:00:26] devastating strike on Riyadh's main airport killing'. [00:00:30] of people and wounding over 300, but these confirm [00:00:34] to RT that they carried out the [00:00:36] attack. these attacks are yemeny attacks. we do [00:00:40] not do this out of revenge or to take vengeance, but rather to force the saudi [00:00:43] leadership to accept a comprehensive and permanent peace [00:00:46] a by agreeing to end the war. he should have an election [00:00:50] and he can't raise the price of oil, it's got [00:00:53] enough. donald trump says Kiev needs a new [00:00:57] leader as Washington agrees with Moscow to left sanctions [00:01:01] on imports of Russian diesel and that decision is deemed [00:01:04] weak by Vladimir Zelensky and he [00:01:07] of promeds a Ukrainian delegation to immediately leave the [00:01:11] of US. [00:01:13] of Rady [00:01:13] of attacks are now intensifying across southern Lebanon, they're increasingly [00:01:17] striking areas beyond the shifting boundaries of its so-called yellow [00:01:21] zone. As IDF strikes on Lebanon go [00:01:24] on unabbated, the country's prime minister has acknowledged the [00:01:28] crippling budget depth. it [00:01:30] of leaving financial recovery a distant prospect, but despite [00:01:34] efforts of support [00:01:35] of from Hezballah, most [00:01:38] of the village was destroyed, there is no sign of [00:01:41] of life, people were given [00:01:43] of ready-made housing units to live in, but they are completely bare, there's nothing [00:01:47] inside, life is difficult due to the constant [00:01:49] in presence of aircraft and ongoing strikes, we are always [00:01:52] anxious. [00:02:01] now welcome to RT international, [00:02:03] of reaching you with all the latest updates from around the world. i am mike [00:02:07] okwache, now who [00:02:08] me the military spokesperson has issued a statement warning shipping [00:02:12] of companies and commercial airlines to not enter Saudi [00:02:15] Arabia air [00:02:16] airspace. the yemeny armed [00:02:20] forces renew their warning to all shipping companies, airlines, experts, [00:02:24] employees, workers and travelers against using Saudi airports and [00:02:27] airspace as [00:02:28] in they are exposed to target. and are a theater for operations by our [00:02:32] forces [00:02:33] with the exception [00:02:33] of the airports of Mecca al-Mukarrama and Medinah [00:02:36] al-Munawara. We urge everyone to take our warning [00:02:40] in seriously and Saudi Arabia bears responsibility for any failed [00:02:43] interceptions. Now on verified footage circulating [00:02:47] online appears to show smoke rising near the airport. [00:02:51] Now the site has been evacuated and all flights suspended. [00:02:55] Riyadh based correspondent Muhammad [00:02:57] of al Rashid reported that the... inflicted [00:03:01] substantial damage to multiple terminals which [00:03:04] handle domestic and international [00:03:06] flights. [00:03:10] of Indeed, this statement was issued by the Saudi [00:03:13] of General Authority of Civil Aviation, approximately six hours after the [00:03:16] initial announcement made earlier today. It provided details on the number of [00:03:20] casualties, confirming 12 dead and 309 wounded [00:03:24] including several in critical condition currently receiving treatment at [00:03:28] hospitals in Riyadh. Among the dead were four Saudi [00:03:31] nationals, two Bangladeshis, [00:03:33] in one American citizen, one Egyptian, one Jordanian, one [00:03:37] Syrian and one Palestinian. May they all rest in peace. [00:03:41] Airport operations remain suspended for the time being as a [00:03:44] precautionary measure to ensure the safety of facilities and the [00:03:48] continuation of operational processes. The recent statement also [00:03:52] confirms that efforts are underway to assess the extent [00:03:54] of the material damages in [00:03:56] me coordination with authorities. Today's toll may [00:03:59] of represent the highest. reported from either huti or Iranian attacks during [00:04:02] assaults on the kingdom of Saudi [00:04:04] of Arabia. I must also mention the attempt to maintain operations [00:04:08] at King Fodd International Airport in Damasham, which is situated outside the [00:04:12] city. We are currently managing the situation as there has also been an [00:04:16] incident outside the airport area. This provides a summary of what is transpired [00:04:19] thus far and we are awaiting [00:04:21] of further details regarding the injuries that are being treated. [00:04:24] Furthermore, we have received information [00:04:27] of concerning the extent [00:04:29] of of the damage to that airport. According. To our sources, the areas impacted were terminal 3 and terminal [00:04:33] 4. Terminal 3 is designated for domestic flights [00:04:36] of between of cities and Saudi Arabia, while Terminal 4 accommodates certain [00:04:40] international carriers. [00:04:42] Now a senior spokesperson told RT that the group's [00:04:46] actions were a direct response to aggression by the saudis against [00:04:50] civilian areas in [00:04:51] Yemen. Yes, these [00:04:55] attacks are Yemeny attacks after 12 years of Saudi aggression destroying [00:04:59] Yemen. whether airports, ports, even wedding and [00:05:02] funerals as well as schools, hospitals and markets. it targeted [00:05:06] everything in Yemen and targeted and destroyed all infrastructure, and today it [00:05:10] acknowledges that airports are civil. facilities that must not be [00:05:14] targeted under international law, but we say that we deal with Saudi [00:05:17] Arabia in kind, and our military operations deep inside the Saudi [00:05:21] entity, will continue and will not end except by destroying all [00:05:25] Saudi infrastructure belonging to the government, whether military facilities, airports, [00:05:29] or even ports and any vital facilities belonging to the Saudi regime. We [00:05:33] do not do this out of revenge or to take vengeance, but rather to force the Saudi [00:05:36] leadership to accept a comprehensive and permanent peace by agreeing to end the [00:05:40] war and end the siege by both sides. [00:05:51] the conflict in Yemen, and the Huvis have released a footage [00:05:54] that he says shows dozens of fighters from the Saudi back [00:05:58] presidential council surrendering to advancing Hudi [00:06:02] forces. The video comes as Saudi Arabia and its [00:06:05] regional partners plan to step up the military coordination on [00:06:09] Monday, raising concerns that the conflict could expand [00:06:13] further and draw more countries in, now the attack [00:06:17] comes as Saudi led forces in Yemen say that they have [00:06:20] destroyed three rocket launch platforms that are [00:06:24] used by Hudi militants to quote threaten regional [00:06:27] security. now in fact the group itself confirmed the Saudi [00:06:31] Air Force carried out 59 air strikes and missile attacks in [00:06:35] just 24 hours causing multiple casualties. now [00:06:39] professor of political science and mass communication, at Qatar [00:06:43] University, Dr. Ali al Hail believes that the [00:06:46] main beneficiary the escalation in the region is [00:06:50] Israel. This is a part the [00:06:54] vicious circled war between [00:06:57] thehis and Saudi Arabia on one [00:07:01] hand and between thehis and what's called the [00:07:04] legitimate government at the [00:07:07] temporary capital city in [00:07:09] Eden at. [00:07:13] Yemen, well, could be, well, [00:07:17] from the very first glance, we [00:07:20] can say probably [00:07:22] it is the hoothies, but also we should [00:07:25] not doubt other sources, [00:07:29] Israel probably takes advantage of this chaos [00:07:33] and Israel has an interest [00:07:36] in making Saudi Arabia [00:07:39] bleeding and weakening. Saudi Arabia [00:07:43] in order to force Saudi Arabia into [00:07:47] normalization with [00:07:49] Israel. Now the Prime Minister of [00:07:52] Pakistan, ally of Saudi Arabia has condemned the recent [00:07:56] Huthi attack on the airport in Riyadh. Shabaz [00:08:00] Sharif expressed his country's unwavering [00:08:03] solidarity with the leadership and people of Saudi Arabia. Earlier this [00:08:07] week we got comments from the editor in chief the Islamabad [00:08:10] telegraph Khasw. plasra, he said that Pakistan [00:08:14] was taking no chances with regional threats as it placed its [00:08:18] military on standby in case he would need to uphold the [00:08:22] mecca defense pact with the saudies. one the key [00:08:26] figures from howt is gave a statement [00:08:30] that either Pakistan or Turkey they [00:08:33] they are if they collaborated with the Saudi Arabian [00:08:37] forces they will face the music and this was the first time that the [00:08:41] Pakistan Pakistan responded with the fuel [00:08:45] force, Pakistan's foreign minister categorically said that we [00:08:48] have, we have actually signed an agreement with [00:08:52] Saudi Arabian and we will do [00:08:55] everything what is required to defend Saudi Arabian [00:08:59] charity and the Holy Mosk, the two holy mosque in Saudi Arabia as [00:09:03] well, so it means Pakistan's Islamabad has taken [00:09:07] it very very seriously, let tell you very very clearly that [00:09:11] if you take in account [00:09:14] the the activities the most [00:09:18] powerful you know field marcher of Pakistan's army, he [00:09:22] has been, he has been [00:09:26] dividing his time between Riyadh and Islamabad during the last [00:09:30] couple of months, so it means Pakistan is very serious, [00:09:33] Pakistan's head of arm forces have [00:09:36] been available round cloud for Saudi Arabians [00:09:40] and when it comes to Makka defense. Pakistan's you [00:09:43] know defense forces and also Pakistan leadership is on the [00:09:47] same trend. Pakistan has taken everything [00:09:51] seriously either the statement coming from the het is [00:09:54] leadership or anywhere from from the region as [00:09:58] well so it means Pakistan is fully on board. Pakistan have been [00:10:02] collaborating with Saudi Arabia for long time but [00:10:05] after signing of it means Pakistan is a [00:10:09] authority of Saudi Arabia. [00:10:25] now with Saudi Arabia coming under attack from the Hudis on the [00:10:29] daily basis and the Mecca defense agreement between the [00:10:32] Kingdom, Turkey and Pakistan in force, Ankara has [00:10:36] caution that you will not send its troops to another country for [00:10:40] any military offensive. Let me stress [00:10:44] again, my friends, state [00:10:45] that this is defense party agreement, to [00:10:48] when this a agreement comes under attack, you stand by it to help it defend [00:10:52] itself. This is not an offensive agreement. [00:10:54] defense [00:11:25] commitments and to take the necessary measures to provide the agreed military [00:11:29] forces and capabilities and ensure their rapid deployment [00:11:32] in the kingdom, in accordance with the approved arrangements and the national legislation [00:11:36] the parties, thereby enhancing readiness, military integration and [00:11:40] the collective capacity to confront and counter threats. President Erdogan [00:11:44] has spelled out what that support could look like, [00:11:48] such support could take the form of intelligence, logistical or ammunition [00:11:51] assistance. more advanced military support could also be considered depending on the [00:11:55] scale the threat. Unkara keeps the details to itself and [00:11:59] reports are filling the silence, special forces, pilots and [00:12:02] aircraft helping defend Riyad and the holy cities. An [00:12:06] American official says the help includes Turkish drone operators, none of [00:12:10] it is on the record. Monday statement does set one condition: [00:12:13] forces deploy in accordance with the national legislation of each [00:12:17] country. In turkia, [00:12:18] that means parliament, and parliament hasn't even ratified the [00:12:22] pact. agreement, the process here has [00:12:26] in fact matured in terms the work done by the ministry, but of [00:12:30] course for the agreement to take effect, it will come to parliament, and since this work [00:12:34] has matured, it will be sent to parliament within a few days. [00:12:38] Ankara's ambitions reach beyond the red sea. David who leads [00:12:41] the nationalist MHP, the ruling party's partner in [00:12:45] parliament, says the pact will elevate the country to the center [00:12:49] of global geopolitics. This is an exceptionally [00:12:52] sound and important agreement. It's tendency. towards expansion is also [00:12:56] of immense strategic value. If these efforts are carried out under Turkey's [00:13:00] leadership, this will bring us to the center, making us much more reputable [00:13:04] in the world. So the next vote in Ankara is a [00:13:08] treaty, not on troops. Sending soldiers would take a second decision of [00:13:12] its own. The arithmetic favors the government, the ruling [00:13:15] alliance, the Justice and Development Party, and the nationalist movement [00:13:19] party holds 326 of Parliament's 600 [00:13:23] seats. The largest opposition party. wants no part in it, and its [00:13:27] leader Isuza says signing defense pack with a country at [00:13:30] war makes Turke a party to that conflict. [00:13:34] International agreements will have to be approved in this parliament if there are soldiers and [00:13:38] weapons involved. We do not accept being part of Trump's Middle East order. [00:13:42] We do not accept the adventurism of Trump, which will send soldiers to the deserts of [00:13:46] Yemen for 100 years. Un could have frames its role as [00:13:50] defending Saudi Arabia. The Houti's leader Abdul Malik Al-Huthi has [00:13:54] message for [00:13:58] The Saudis want to involve regional powers, not only from the Arab [00:14:02] arena, but even within the Islamic world. They aim to bring in the [00:14:05] Turks and entangle them, to involve the Pakistanis as well, [00:14:09] seeking their help day and night, calling out for them to assist them, to fight [00:14:13] alongside them, to share in the sin and aggression against our dear [00:14:17] people. A senior official Muhammad Al-Bukaithi says the [00:14:21] group doesn't expect Turkish or Pakistani troops inside. [00:14:25] Yemen, but even indirect help he warns counts as [00:14:28] joining the war, and last month he warned Ankara and [00:14:32] Islamabad would meet an iron fist. [00:14:35] Yasan, RT in [00:14:37] Istanbul. And moving [00:14:41] on now, immediately after blind siding Ukraine with [00:14:44] news about its diesel deal with Russia, Donald Trump decides to [00:14:48] up the antes, suggesting its time for new leadership in [00:14:52] Ukraine. It's going. he delaying [00:14:56] peace because he can't hold elections while you created that war? well, i [00:15:00] think he should have an election and uh, he could have settled this [00:15:03] many times and he should have an election and [00:15:07] he can't raise the price of oil, it's not enough. it does [00:15:11] appear that Zelensky has fallen out of grace and an [00:15:15] unprecedented manner for Donald Trump to come out and not [00:15:19] only say that you know it's time for for Ukraine to to get [00:15:23] another leader for him to come and say it's [00:15:26] Zelensky's fault that a peace agreement [00:15:30] still hasn't been reached that he is denied [00:15:34] offer after peace offer coming [00:15:36] up with his. zone conditions, we've of course seen [00:15:40] this happen multiple times, but for the president the United States [00:15:44] to come out and say so, he's again unprecedented and [00:15:48] hugely, hugely damaging for Zelensky [00:15:52] himself. Zelenski needs to hang [00:15:55] to every single thread of [00:15:59] legitimacy that he can. This is the same Zelensky whose [00:16:03] presidential term expired years ago. [00:16:06] This is the same. Zelensky who has refused elections [00:16:10] saying, it's it's simply too difficult even as [00:16:13] Russia has held elections along [00:16:17] frontline settlementts uh included, so [00:16:20] there's certainly the the diplomatic pressure that is being [00:16:24] piled on Zelensky. As for Russia, Donald [00:16:28] Trump thanked Russia for all the [00:16:31] diesel that will now be supplied to the United [00:16:34] States. Russia agreed to send [00:16:38] millions and millions of barrels of [00:16:42] oil and it's diesel, that's what we really need. so thank [00:16:46] you, there's a build [00:16:48] up to this, this didn't come out the blue. you had the [00:16:52] United States, with the conflict with Iran, there's been [00:16:56] a huge shortage in global oil [00:17:00] supplies, the United States, it's you, it's a [00:17:03] common phrase, people vote at the pump. price [00:17:07] of uh petrol, the price of diesel are [00:17:11] hugely important for American voters as [00:17:15] well as for the American [00:17:16] economy, for the financial [00:17:20] system, they depend on cars, on vehicles to get to and [00:17:24] from work to transport goods a manner [00:17:28] that you few European nations depend [00:17:31] on, there you have the United States under pressure due [00:17:35] to the conflict with Iran. asking Russia to supply it with [00:17:39] diesel fuel to keep prices low ahead of elections, [00:17:42] incredibly important for Donald Trump, and Donald Trump comes [00:17:46] out publicly, repeatedly asking Zelensky to [00:17:50] cool it with strikes on Russian oil refineries. It doesn't [00:17:54] matter if that Russian oil is going to the United States or to other [00:17:57] countries, the point is to supply global oil [00:18:01] markets to keep prices low. What does Zelenski do? [00:18:04] Zelensky comes out and says we're going to... [00:18:10] and at this moment when we are talking about peace, america is allowing Russia to [00:18:14] export diesel, it's millions, billions, any case, [00:18:18] all of this is directed for war against the people, against Ukraine, against all [00:18:22] of us, I believe our team is just being used as a facade, and that's [00:18:26] definitely not fair, this is definitely not very partner-like in my [00:18:29] opinion, this is a weak solution, unfortunately, it's a [00:18:33] weak decision by strong partners, this is essentially [00:18:36] zelensky. worst nightmare, when the [00:18:40] statements were [00:18:42] published, then they made the [00:18:45] rounds, all over the world, zelensky [00:18:48] began frantically calling European [00:18:52] leaders, essentially trying to garn their support [00:18:56] for them to come out and publicly say, despite what Trump is [00:19:00] saying, we stand with Zelensky [00:19:03] frantically, there was there were reports of four [00:19:07] calls that he would stop calls with other European leaders when [00:19:11] others would pick up, it was it was chaos, [00:19:15] never, nevertheless, this is for Zelensky, Russia [00:19:19] and the United States trading after [00:19:23] a break of four and a half years, well [00:19:26] that is nightmare for Zelensky, it [00:19:30] means that the these attempts to isolate Russia [00:19:33] to pretend the 12% the world [00:19:37] surface. doesn't exist, something that the Europeans have [00:19:40] been trying very hard to do, that that isn't [00:19:44] working, worse than that. Zelensky's own [00:19:47] legitimacy is being questioned by the people who [00:19:50] supply most of his [00:19:52] munitions. [00:20:02] Close down Putin's entire economy, so Russia's mouth shut, don't [00:20:06] feed them with your sales. just impose sanctions on their weapons, open [00:20:09] Starling to Ukraine, you did open it when you were responding to Iran. [00:20:13] There's another way to conduct negotiations that will help push Putin toward negotiations. [00:20:17] He doesn't want this. I think that President Trump can do more and as our [00:20:21] ally, he should do more. And that is [00:20:24] exactly the point that Russia was making when it [00:20:28] was saying that Zelensky can't be negotiated [00:20:32] with, that he has unrealistic expectations. Four and a [00:20:36] half years into the... war Russia saddled with the [00:20:39] most severe sanctions in recorded [00:20:43] history, and Zelensky is coming out and saying, [00:20:47] well we need more sanctions, Russia. which has [00:20:50] again uh stood up to Ukraine's assaults, [00:20:54] 1,600 drones launched at [00:20:58] night, and Zelensky is saying we just need to launch [00:21:02] more drones. This is the reason that Marshall [00:21:05] says again, he can't be negotiated with and there need [00:21:09] to be new elections in Ukraine, [00:21:12] sentiment that seemingly has now reached the [00:21:16] United States. Donald Trump is in. the [00:21:20] only one who thinks Zelensky has gone too far. [00:21:24] the US president's criticism was supported by tech industry [00:21:28] tycoon, elon musk. now for more on that [00:21:31] and other in-depth coverage, you can head to our website [00:21:34] rt.com. [00:21:38] now, amit a surge in IDF strikes on Lebanon, the country's prime [00:21:42] minister has acknowledged the critical budget shortfall, but [00:21:46] despite Hezbellar offering to provide support, fin [00:21:50] recovery remains a distant prospect as Washington has [00:21:54] tied additional support to this armment the militant [00:21:58] group. now RT Steve Sweenie reports on this. [00:22:02] Well we're in Zaltra [00:22:03] Al Gore, the [00:22:03] one so-called pilot zones sitting right on the edge of Israel's yellow line, [00:22:07] the zone of occupation, a drone hovers overhead watching us ominously, and [00:22:11] just moments ago there was an air strikers fighter jets raw overhead watching [00:22:15] us. Israeli attacks are now intensifying across southern Lebanon, [00:22:19] they're increasing. striking areas beyond the shifting boundaries of its [00:22:23] so-called yellow zone. we have been displaced twice, [00:22:27] first in 2024 and again in 2026. this time [00:22:30] the situation was truly tragic. most the village was destroyed, [00:22:34] there is no sign of life. people were given ready-made housing [00:22:38] units to live in, but they are completely bare. there is nothing inside, [00:22:42] even securing water is difficult, and there it is absolutely no [00:22:46] electricity. most people sleep by candle light. yes, [00:22:51] Life is difficult due to the constant presence of aircraft and ongoing [00:22:54] strikes. We are always anxious. There is nothing here, if I need a [00:22:58] water pitcher, I can't find one. I can't even make cup of tea or coffee. [00:23:02] There's water, no refrigerator, no bed, no washing machine. There [00:23:06] is absolutely nothing. It is extremely difficult. God help the [00:23:10] army. It cannot even protect itself. Let alone get the necessary [00:23:14] weaponry. How then could it possibly protect civilians? Had there [00:23:18] been a strong state a well-armed? Israel would never have dared [00:23:22] to invade at least 35 artillery shells hit [00:23:25] Mansouri, this is village on the end of that zone where the Israeli [00:23:28] forces have progressively expanded their area of control. [00:23:32] Mansori was then hit again on with air strikes, artillery a major [00:23:35] detonations and Israeli fire is also reaching well beyond that [00:23:39] so-called yellow zone near Maifordun, three Israeli artillery shells [00:23:43] landed very close to journalists from Algeideed and Navaatia news uh [00:23:46] fortunately there were no injuries in that particular attack but... once again it [00:23:50] highlights the danger to those reporting on Israeli operations as [00:23:54] journalists are routinely targeted. Israeli forces attacked 15 [00:23:58] southern towns with demolitions reported in six them. and in Hoola, [00:24:01] Israeli troops planted explosives inside the Jabelland public school [00:24:05] and then detonated it. just one of many schools destroyed in recent weeks. [00:24:09] now all of this came immediately after prime minister now of salam traveled to nearby [00:24:13] Nabatia a promising reconstruction. his visit however didn't go [00:24:17] smoothly. he was confronted by residents demanding to know when they could [00:24:20] return home, many angry at what they see is government [00:24:23] action. locals use that relative calm around the visit to [00:24:27] enter navity alfawa and expect and inspect the home sorry for [00:24:31] the first time in months, but even as salam spoke, the Israeli attacks were [00:24:35] hitting the surrounding area. i am not here to sell you [00:24:39] illusions nor to promise what i cannot deliver. we still need [00:24:42] significant funding. and it's the cost here that's key. salam previously [00:24:46] identified the funding needed at 27 billion US dollars. as [00:24:50] some he says Lebanese State simply doesn't have. Now following his visit, [00:24:54] Hezbollah Secretary General Naim Kassam said that the organization would [00:24:57] contribute to shelter and reconstruction for the people displaced from the [00:25:01] south. Hez MP Hasan Fadlal said on Saturday that this [00:25:05] pledge would unsettle the United States with Washington insisting that [00:25:09] AID is tied to disarmament. We will not discuss the final [00:25:12] figures relating to AID for our people in the housing program, as this would come [00:25:16] as a shock to the Americans. Well, exactly how much money. can [00:25:20] provide and when remains unclear, but the immediate problem isn't simply who [00:25:24] pays for reconstruction, it's the expansion the Israeli occupation. [00:25:28] uniform has documented israely forces operating from nearly 30 positions [00:25:32] in southern Lebanon, including eight fortified bases. Israeli [00:25:36] forces have already pushed beyond their own yellow line in some areas while Israeli [00:25:40] officials say they want to retain a security zone extending as [00:25:44] much as 10 kilometers inside Lebanon. this comes as Salam [00:25:47] continues to talk, [00:25:49] at least on the surface. [00:26:02] our territory and the safe and dignified return of people to their [00:26:06] homes. now the eighth round of talks between Lebanon and Israel is planned for [00:26:10] later this month with some saying they will take place in Florida, but months of [00:26:13] negotiations have so far produced little concrete change for the people the [00:26:17] south. Israel remains inside Lebanon and is expanding its [00:26:21] presence while escalating its attacks as noted by uniful observers. [00:26:25] hundreds have been killed since the latest opposed ceasefire. cease fire is something [00:26:29] which Israel has never really added to talks. about [00:26:32] reconstruction seem unrealistic while Israeli destruction continues, [00:26:36] so the key question now is whether the negotiations can produce something [00:26:40] tangible, that is an end to the attacks and an Israeli [00:26:44] withdrawal. all the evidence on the ground suggest that in reality [00:26:48] this is something of distant hope. this is steve swine for RT, [00:26:52] zal gabia, southern [00:26:53] Lebanon. and closer [00:26:57] home now, as concerns over a plague outbreak in Russia [00:27:00] spreads rapidly in the western media, the United States Center for [00:27:04] Disease control has decided to update its own data [00:27:08] concerning the plague in America, but sudden adjustments in [00:27:12] the agency figures is raising more questions than [00:27:15] answers. So on Wednesday, the agency said [00:27:18] average of seven people contract the [00:27:22] the plague every year, but just 24 hours later, the [00:27:26] health and prevention body stated that only five plague cases are [00:27:30] recorded annually. It's unclear. what prompted the agency [00:27:34] to revise the numbers, as no explanation was [00:27:38] provided, and while western media [00:27:41] outlets are busy sounding the alarm claiming there's a [00:27:45] plague epidemic in Russia's Siberia, that Moscow [00:27:49] is most assuredly covering up. now both Washington [00:27:53] and London are demanding more information on the supposed [00:27:56] outbreak, and now this hysteria is spreading to [00:28:00] x as well with users. real or not, unanimously [00:28:04] claiming that the disease is quickly moving [00:28:06] west. a friend of mine who works in Russia [00:28:10] has just sent a voicemail. St. Petersburg is going to go into lockdown [00:28:14] tomorrow because the plague outbreak, not [00:28:16] joking. So in response, [00:28:20] Russia's health watch dog has confirmed that the death of [00:28:24] lab worker which has caused panic in the west was [00:28:28] caused by pneumonia of an unknown origin. At the agency [00:28:31] has said carried out more than 5,000 tests [00:28:35] and no dangerous microorganisms have been found. [00:28:39] authorities also added that there wasn't even emergency [00:28:43] with the contagious disease in the lab where the woman [00:28:46] worked. now far from hiding the truth, moscow has [00:28:50] sent all these results to the world health organization. so we [00:28:54] traveled to the region where this incident occurred to ask [00:28:58] people whether they are concerned about a possible [00:29:01] outbreak. "if there are any [00:29:04] concerns, of course, it's better to talk to specialists. my friend works at [00:29:08] the anti-plague institute, heard from her about how all of this is controlled [00:29:12] in our country, so I'm absolutely calm. specialists will work on [00:29:16] this, of course, some safety measures are needed in public places where [00:29:20] there are many people. if you're worried, then don't go, if there were something [00:29:24] truly dangerous, then the services in the city would already be working here, it would be [00:29:28] visible, like how there were street announcements during [00:29:30] COVID, [00:30:02] attention to this story? well, [00:30:05] unfortunately, there's a trope in the western in the NATO countries, and the trope [00:30:09] is that Russia is on trustworthy, that Russian, the Russian government is [00:30:13] incompetent, it doesn't look out for its people, and so they're going to [00:30:17] play into that trope, they're going to play into that narrative and say they're not being honest [00:30:21] with us and they're being irresponsible, so it's I think it's part the the [00:30:25] public relations attack NATO wide against um against [00:30:28] Russia. I think one the reasons that um our the leaders the... [00:30:32] United States right now, particularly the political leaders are um trying [00:30:36] to um focus the attention the American people on this [00:30:39] particular outbreak is because um here in America there's a lot of [00:30:43] political unrest um just before the um [00:30:47] midterm elections people are very upset about the economics about foreign [00:30:51] policy um there are a lot of people who supported President Trump who feel [00:30:55] as though that he did the opposite of what they wanted, they wanted an end of [00:30:59] foreign wars.
