[00:00:00] the color revolutions behind the politics and the [00:00:02] politicians, we shine a light on where the deep state is [00:00:08] in hiding, [00:00:17] and he should have an [00:00:19] in election, and he can't raise the price of oil, it's not [00:00:22] enough. Donald Trump says Kief needs a new leader, [00:00:26] as Washington agrees with Moscow to lift sanctions on [00:00:29] of imports of Russian diesel. "that decision is deemed weak by Vladimir [00:00:32] Zelensky and it prompts a Ukrainian delegation to immediately [00:00:36] leave the United States. The [00:00:40] of hoouties warn shipping companies and airlines to not enter saudi [00:00:44] airspace, and this comes after devastating strike on Riyad's [00:00:48] main airport, killing 12 [00:00:49] of people and wounding over [00:00:52] of 300. confirmed [00:00:53] to RT that they carried out the attack. These [00:00:57] of attacks are Yemeny attacks. We do not do this out of revenge." or to take [00:01:00] vengeance, but rather to force the Saudi leadership to accept a comprehensive and [00:01:04] permanent peace by agreeing to end the [00:01:06] a war. this way attacks are now intensifying across southern Leben [00:01:10] and they're increasingly striking areas beyond [00:01:13] in the shifting boundaries of its so-called yellow zone. as [00:01:16] IDF strikes on Lebanon go on unabated, the country's prime [00:01:20] minister has acknowledged [00:01:22] a crippling budget deficit to leaving financial recovery a distant [00:01:25] prospect to despite offers of support from Hezbollah. [00:01:29] most The village was destroyed, there is no sign [00:01:32] of of [00:01:32] of life. People were given ready-made housing units to live in, but [00:01:36] they are completely bare. There's nothing inside. Life is difficult due [00:01:40] to the constant presence of aircraft and ongoing strikes. We are always [00:01:47] of anxious. [00:01:52] Sam for the news on RT international. My name iskunov. Welcome to the [00:01:56] program. Immediately after blind siting you. [00:02:00] with news about its diesel deal with [00:02:01] a Russia, Donald Trump decided to up the ant suggesting it's time for new [00:02:05] leadership in Ukraine. It's Zelensky [00:02:09] of delaying peace because he can't hold [00:02:12] of elections while you created that war. Well, I think he should have an [00:02:16] of election, and he could have settled this many times and he [00:02:19] should have an election, and he can't raise the price of oil, [00:02:23] it's done enough. It does appear that Zelensky has [00:02:27] fallen out of Grayson. precedented manner for [00:02:31] Donald Trump to come out and not only say it's [00:02:35] time for for Ukraine [00:02:37] to to get another leader for him to come out and say it's [00:02:40] Zelensky's [00:02:42] of fault that a peace agreement still hasn't been reached that he has [00:02:46] denied offer after peace offer [00:02:50] coming up with his own conditions we've of course [00:02:54] seen this happen multiple times but for the president [00:02:56] of the United States to come out and say so easy. [00:03:00] and unprecedented and hugely, hugely [00:03:04] damaging for Zelensky [00:03:06] of himself. Zelenski needs to hang [00:03:09] to every single thread of [00:03:13] legitimacy that he can. This is the same Zelensky whose [00:03:16] presidential term expired years ago. [00:03:20] This is the same Zelensky who has refused election [00:03:24] saying it's it's simply too difficult even as [00:03:27] Russia has held election. along [00:03:31] frontline settlement uh included, so [00:03:34] there's certainly the the diplomatic pressure that is [00:03:38] a being piled on Zelensky, as for Russia, Donald [00:03:42] Trump thanked Russia for all the diesel [00:03:46] that will now be [00:03:47] of supplied to the United States. Russia agreed to [00:03:51] send us millions and millions of [00:03:55] barrels of oil, and it's diesel, that's what we really [00:03:59] of need. Thank you, there was a build [00:04:02] up to this, this [00:04:03] of didn't come [00:04:04] of out [00:04:04] of the blue, you had the [00:04:06] of United States, you with the conflict with Iran there's been [00:04:10] a huge shortage in global oil [00:04:13] supplies, the United States, [00:04:17] of it's you know it's a common phrase, people vote at the pump, [00:04:21] the price of uh petrol, the price of [00:04:24] diesel are hugely important for American [00:04:28] voters as well as for. for the american [00:04:30] economy, for the financial [00:04:34] of system, they depend on cars, on vehicles to get two and [00:04:38] from work to transport goods [00:04:41] in a manner that you few European nations [00:04:45] depend on, there you have the United States under [00:04:48] pressure due to the conflict with Iran, asking Russia to [00:04:52] supply with diesel fuel to keep prices lower ahead of elections [00:04:56] incredibly important for Donald Trump and Donald. [00:05:00] Trump comes out publicly, repeatedly, asking Zelensky [00:05:04] to cool it with strikes on Russian oil refineries. It doesn't [00:05:08] matter if that Russian oil is going to the United States or to other [00:05:11] countries, the... [00:05:13] is to supply global oil markets to keep prices low, what does [00:05:17] Zelenski do? zelensky comes out and [00:05:20] says, [00:05:24] and at this moment when we are talking about peace, america is allowing Russia to [00:05:28] export diesel, it's millions, billions, any case, all of [00:05:32] this is directed for war against the people, against Ukraine, against all of [00:05:36] us, I believe our team is just being used as a facade, and that's [00:05:40] definitely not fair, this is definitely not very. partnerlike in my [00:05:43] opinion, this is a weak solution, unfortunately it's a weak [00:05:47] decision by strong partners. this is essentially [00:05:50] zelensky's worst nightmare, when the [00:05:54] statements were [00:05:56] published, then they made the [00:05:59] rounds, all over the world, zelensky [00:06:02] began frantically calling uh european [00:06:06] leaders essentially trying to garn their support [00:06:10] for them to come out and publicly say: 'you despite what Trump is [00:06:14] saying we stand with Zelensky frantically, [00:06:18] there was uh there were reports of four calls that he [00:06:22] would uh stop calls with other European leaders when others [00:06:26] would pick up, it was it was chaos, [00:06:29] nevertheless, nevertheless this is for Zelensky, Russia [00:06:33] and the United States trading after uh [00:06:36] a break of four and a half years, well [00:06:40] that is nightmare'. [00:06:45] the [00:06:50] to pretend that [00:06:50] 12% world's surface doesn't exist, something that the [00:06:54] Europeans have been trying very hard to do, that that [00:06:57] isn't working, worse than that, Zelensky's own [00:07:01] legitimacy is being questioned by the people who [00:07:04] supply most of his [00:07:06] munitions, again a [00:07:10] double nightmare. We are not [00:07:14] in diplomatic dead end, close down Putin's entire [00:07:17] economy, so Russia's mouth shut, don't feed them with your [00:07:20] sales, just impose sanctions on their weapons, open Starling to [00:07:24] Ukraine, you did open it when you were responding to Iran, there is another [00:07:28] way to conduct negotiations that will help push Putin toward negotiations, he doesn't want [00:07:32] this, I think that President Trump can do more and as our ally he should [00:07:36] do more, and that is exactly the [00:07:40] point that Russia was making. It was saying that [00:07:43] Zelensky can't be negotiated with, that he [00:07:47] has unrealistic expectations. For a half years into [00:07:51] this war, Russia saddled with the most uh [00:07:54] severe sanctions in recorded [00:07:57] history, and Zelensky is coming out and saying, [00:08:01] well we need more sanctions. Russia, which is [00:08:04] again uh stood up to Ukraine's assaults, [00:08:08] 1,600 drones launched at night. [00:08:13] and Zelensky is saying we just need to launch more [00:08:16] drones. This is the reason that Marshall says [00:08:20] again, he can't be negotiated with, and there need to [00:08:23] be new elections in Ukraine, sentiment that [00:08:27] seemingly has now reached the United [00:08:30] States. Kiif is not the only one against [00:08:34] Washington lifting sanctions on Moscow. In fact, the EU is announcing [00:08:38] vote will be held this Monday to impose its largest ever package. [00:08:42] restrictions suspending [00:08:46] sanctions on Russian diesel provides Moscow with more revenues to wage war. [00:08:50] This is not the time ease pressure on Russia and Europe won't. On Monday [00:08:54] EU foreign ministers intend to approve the biggest set of sanctions listings targeting [00:08:58] Russia's war machines since the start the war. Despite [00:09:01] Brussels and Kiev singing from the same song sheet, it [00:09:05] seems not everyone in Ukraine is in tune with that. One former [00:09:09] MP says the biggest threat to this country comes from. [00:09:15] Today, true patriots the country must understand two [00:09:18] points: first, Vladimir Zelensky will never agree [00:09:22] to an end to the war, and his continued stay in power is guarantee that [00:09:26] the war will continue. Second, the continuation the war will [00:09:30] result in the total loss of statehood for Ukraine and a catastrophe for [00:09:34] its population. It is Zelinski himself whose adequacy and [00:09:37] sanity are subject to serious doubt, who is the main enemy of Ukraine [00:09:41] and its people. too much is it stake, the people are waiting for [00:09:45] justice and decisiveness. Ukraine cannot remain a hostage to the [00:09:49] unhealthy ambitions and personal interests of a man who has imagined [00:09:53] himself to be Napoleon. And to get more on this, [00:09:57] let's cross live now to former advisor to the Prosecutor general of Ukraine [00:10:01] and ex-diplomat Andrejenko. Andre, welcome to the program, it's always [00:10:04] great to have you. Trump's known for speaking so to speak off the [00:10:08] cuff, but this time he seems to have gone further than previously. [00:10:25] ukraine was taken over by the US and they started to [00:10:28] control almost everything, yes there were like [00:10:30] a swing of attachments between the some government officials who are more [00:10:34] neutral or who are more with Europe and the United States was trying to [00:10:38] deal with them, but always it was full control united [00:10:42] states uh the deep state from Washington [00:10:45] especially not the maga movement or the republican party [00:10:49] mostly but the deep state controlled Ukraine and that's how it left [00:10:53] so the relationship was already... uh not there, it was just [00:10:57] puppet show for the world to make Ukraine [00:11:01] sound like it's an independent sovereign so-called democracy, [00:11:04] but there was no democracy, there was no diplomatic relationship, the [00:11:08] embassy there, basically I worked, I was in Washington, we [00:11:12] were called up, said, oh, you have to do this by [00:11:16] advisors to president Obama, I remember talking to national security [00:11:19] council officials, you have to appoint this prime minister, fire this [00:11:23] head official, and deliver this to the president and this [00:11:27] has to be done, this is how the relationship worked, so there was never [00:11:31] clear understanding that Ukraine was sovereign [00:11:33] independent, and I appreciate you sharing those [00:11:37] details with us, that's quite interesting, uh, regarding the relationship [00:11:41] between Russia and the United States, of course the biggest news is the deal [00:11:44] announced recently between uh the US and [00:11:48] Russia, which gives Moscow wavor to export its diesel to [00:11:52] America, uh, the agreement was announced while uh Ukrainian delegation [00:11:55] was in Miami and it reportedly left the negotiations right after the [00:11:59] news broke, how likely is it that Zelansky will change his tune and [00:12:03] start pursuing peace? Zelensky is not [00:12:07] a peace uh figure, he was put in [00:12:11] place as pupet the west to take charge of this [00:12:15] war, he was ready to fight and he agreed to fight a war with Russia [00:12:19] in 2019 and he then [00:12:22] basically made a show to stay. that for the Russian troops to move [00:12:26] away from Kiev and sign so-called Istanbul agreements, for him it [00:12:30] wasn't so-called, but for Russia, the whole world, people were waiting for peace, he [00:12:33] then [00:12:34] he he played in this game the of a leader that [00:12:38] was being attacked, but he was the one who was attacking, he was the one [00:12:42] who attacked Donbas and continued to do that, even though he could have [00:12:46] agreed with the minsk accords, then again today we're seeing he's [00:12:50] continuing every day, every time his rhetoric is just [00:12:53] going bombardic. it not towards peace, even though the world is showing [00:12:57] him, your time is done, deal with it, make peace for [00:13:01] your country, and let's move on, no, he's still [00:13:04] b bungging to the deep state from Brussels and London and some [00:13:08] people in Washington to continue this war, because he thinks he [00:13:12] can sabotage the elections in in in Washington DC, United [00:13:16] States for the midterms and then have a change of [00:13:19] power, have the democrats come and his buddies will continue [00:13:23] to finance him, Blumental and all those crowd that are making money [00:13:27] out of this war is gna help him with with fighting [00:13:31] uh and standing power. The only thing he does he cares about is to stay in [00:13:35] power, not to fight a war, but to be in power, make more money for him and for [00:13:39] his owners abroad. That is the biggest problem, that's why it needs to be a change of [00:13:42] leadership in Ukraine to neutral government. [00:13:46] And uh, in fact, Zelansky has been repeatedly ignoring [00:13:50] Trump's request to stop striking Russian energy infrastructure. [00:13:54] Instead, he was... ramping up uh the attacks, the [00:13:57] question is, I guess, what has given Zelinski the confidence to flat out [00:14:01] defy Trump? the confidence was an order [00:14:05] to given to him to destroy the mag republican [00:14:08] movement, so it will not have power to move forward with the [00:14:12] midterms, it was there from day one, as soon as Trump became president, and [00:14:16] we talked about this here in your studio, every time [00:14:20] since the last two years Zelensky was trying to sabotage Trump and [00:14:24] have him be more weaken weakening his position with the teef deals [00:14:28] especially trying [00:14:29] to make them look like a fool with the hitting the oil refineries trying to [00:14:33] make Trump look like fool on the situation [00:14:35] he is not in control but the problem is it's not just Zelensky the people [00:14:39] around or Donald Trump who are also pushing such narratives the [00:14:43] deep state actors Brussels London are working to [00:14:46] Berlin and Paris they're the ones who are [00:14:49] getting Zelinski the power to move forward on this and that is the the [00:14:53] biggest issue today. thank god Washington cames [00:14:57] to its mind and they understand they can play this show, this [00:15:01] puppet for their midterm elections. Zelenski was playing them, now [00:15:05] they're going to play him, and I also talked about the senior studio a couple [00:15:08] weeks ago that Zelensky will be used to [00:15:12] replace the situation be used to replace Zelansky [00:15:15] maybe during the midterms, what is going to be suitable for the [00:15:19] president of United States to use Ukraine and it [00:15:23] show how Ukraine was using. them again in their show, so this [00:15:26] is this is what we come to, Ukraine is is just puppet [00:15:30] in election processes, which hopefully [00:15:34] in this situation will come to such a... good [00:15:38] that there will be a change of government, not just words from President Trump, and there will [00:15:42] be actual peace afterwards. All right, Andrejenko, [00:15:46] former advisor to the prosecutor general of Ukraine and ex-diplomat, I appreciate [00:15:50] you taking the time and sharing your thoughts with us on this. Thank you, [00:15:54] God bless. Yeah, [00:15:58] Huti military spokesperson has issued a statement warning [00:16:01] shipping companies and commercial airlines to not enter Saudi [00:16:05] airspace, and that's after 12 people were. killed and more than 300 wounded [00:16:09] in houti attack on the main international airport in [00:16:12] Riad. The Yemani [00:16:16] armed forces renew their warning to all shipping companies, airlines, experts, [00:16:20] employees, workers and travelers against using Saudi airports and [00:16:23] airspace, as they are exposed to targeting and are a theater for [00:16:27] operations by our forces, with the exception the airports of Mecca, [00:16:31] al-Mukarama and Medina Al-Munawara. We urge everyone to take [00:16:35] our warning seriously [00:16:36] and Saudi Arabia. responsibility for any failed [00:16:39] interceptions. Unverified footage circulating online appears [00:16:43] to show smoke rising near the airport. The site has been [00:16:46] evacuated and all flights suspended. Rad based correspondent [00:16:50] mohammed al rashed reported that the attack inflicted substantial [00:16:54] damage to multiple terminals which handle domestic and [00:16:57] international [00:16:58] flights. [00:17:02] Indeed, this statement was issued by the saudi general authority of civil [00:17:06] aviation approximately. 6 hours after the initial announcement made [00:17:09] earlier today, it provided details on the number of casualties, [00:17:13] confirming 12 dead and 309 wounded, including several in [00:17:17] critical condition currently receiving treatment at hospitals in [00:17:21] Riyadh. Among the dead were four Saudi nationals, two [00:17:24] Bangladeshis, one American citizen, one Egyptian, one [00:17:28] Jordanian, one Syrian, and one Palestinian. May they all rest [00:17:32] in peace. Airport operations remain suspended for the time being as [00:17:36] a precautionary. measure to ensure the safety of facilities and the [00:17:40] continuation of operational processes. The recent statement also [00:17:44] confirms that efforts are underway to assess the extent the material damages [00:17:48] in coordination with authorities. Today's toll may represent the highest [00:17:51] recorded from either huti or Iranian attacks during assaults on the kingdom of [00:17:55] Saudi Arabia. I must also mention the attempt to maintain [00:17:59] operations at King Fod International airport in Damasham, which is [00:18:03] situated outside the city. We are currently managing the [00:18:06] situation. been an incident outside the airport area. [00:18:10] This provides a summary of what has transpired thus far and we are waiting further [00:18:13] details regarding the injuries that are being treated. Furthermore, we [00:18:17] have received information concerning the extent the damage to that airport. [00:18:21] According to our sources, the areas impacted were terminal 3 and terminal [00:18:25] 4. Terminal 3 is designated for domestic flights between cities and [00:18:29] Saudi Arabia, while Terminal 4 accommodates certain international [00:18:32] carriers. A senior huti spokesperson told [00:18:36] RT that the... groups actions were a direct response to aggression by the saudies [00:18:40] against civilian areas in [00:18:42] Yemen, but yes, these [00:18:45] attacks are Yemeny attacks, after 12 years of Saudi aggression, destroying [00:18:49] Yemen infrastructure, whether airports, ports, even wedding and [00:18:53] funeral halls as well as schools, hospitals and markets. It targeted [00:18:57] everything in Yemen and targeted and destroyed all infrastructure, and today it [00:19:01] acknowledges that airports are civilian facilities that must not be [00:19:04] targeted under international law, but we say... that we deal with Saudi [00:19:08] Arabia in kind and our military operations deep inside the Saudi [00:19:12] entity will continue and will not end except by destroying all Saudi [00:19:15] infrastructure belonging to the government, whether military facilities, airports or [00:19:19] even ports and any vital facilities belonging to the Saudi regime. We [00:19:23] do not do this out of revenge or to take vengeance, but rather to force the Saudi [00:19:27] leadership to accept a comprehensive and permanent peace by agreeing to end the [00:19:31] war and end the siege by both sides. The Saudi leadership can agree [00:19:35] to achieve peace, and these are Yemen's demands. [00:19:39] This comes amid a rapid escalation the conflict in Yemen. The Futhis have [00:19:43] released footage that they say shows a dozens of fighters from the Saudi [00:19:47] backed presidential council surrendering to advancing hoouti forces. [00:19:50] The video comes as Saudi Arabia and its regional partners plan to [00:19:54] step up their military coordination on Monday, raising concerns [00:19:58] that the conflict could expand further and draw more countries [00:20:02] in. The Saudi led forces in Yemen say [00:20:06] they have destroyed three. rocket launch platforms that are used by [00:20:09] khuthi militants to quote to threaten regional security. In fact, the [00:20:13] group itself confirmed the Soudi Air Force carried out 59 air [00:20:17] strikes and missile attacks causing multiple [00:20:19] casualties. With Saudi Arabia coming [00:20:23] under attack from the futhies a daily basis and the [00:20:26] Mecca defensive agreement between the kingdom, Turkey and Pakistan [00:20:30] inforce, Ankara has caution that it will not send its troops to another [00:20:34] country for any military offensive. [00:20:50] will not send its forces to the territory of another state to carry out [00:20:53] attack. In Mecca, three leaders signed a promise: attack [00:20:57] on one is attack on all. Turkia, Saudi [00:21:01] Arabia, Pakistan. Two months on that promise is [00:21:04] under fire. Huthy missiles and drones keep hitting Saudi airports and [00:21:08] oil sites. Meeting in Riad, the Mecca Alliance agreed to send [00:21:12] forces to the kingdom and quickly. The committee [00:21:16] decided to move immediately to the practical implementation the collective defense. [00:21:20] commitments and to take the necessary measures to provide the agreed military [00:21:24] forces and capabilities and ensure their rapid deployment in the kingdom. [00:21:28] In accordance with the approved arrangements and the national legislation the parties, [00:21:31] thereby enhancing readiness, military integration, and the collective [00:21:35] capacity to confront and counter threats. President Erdogan has spelled [00:21:39] out what that support could look like. Such support [00:21:43] could take the form of intelligence, logistical or ammunition assistance. More [00:21:47] advanced military support could also be considered depending on the scale of. [00:21:51] the details to itself and reports are filling the silence, special [00:21:55] forces, pilots and aircraft helping defend Riyad and the [00:21:59] Holy Cities. An American official says the help includes Turkish drone [00:22:02] operators, none of it is on the record. Monday statement does set [00:22:06] one condition: forces deploy in accordance with the national [00:22:10] legislation of each country. In turkia, [00:22:13] that means parliament and parliament hasn't even ratified the [00:22:16] pact. As for the Mecca agreement. "the process here has [00:22:20] in fact matured in terms the work done by the ministry, but of [00:22:24] course for the agreement to take effect, it will come to parliament, and since this work [00:22:28] has matured, it will be sent to parliament within a few days. [00:22:32] Ankara's ambitions reach beyond the red sea d who leads [00:22:36] the nationalist MHP, the ruling party's partner in [00:22:39] parliament, says the pact will elevate the country to the center [00:22:43] of global geopolitics. This is an exceptionally [00:22:47] sound and important agreement, its tendency towards..." mansion is also of [00:22:51] immense strategic value. if these efforts are carried out under Turkey's [00:22:54] leadership, this will bring us to the center, making us much more [00:22:58] reputable in the world. so the next vote in Ankara is [00:23:02] a treaty, not on troops. sending soldiers would take a second [00:23:05] decision of its own. the arithmetic favors the government, the [00:23:09] ruling alliance, the justice and development party and the nationalist movement [00:23:13] party holds 326 of parliament's 600 [00:23:17] seats. the largest opposition party wants no... part in it, and its [00:23:21] leader Uzgruza says, signing defense pack with a country at [00:23:25] war makes Turke a party to that conflicts. [00:23:28] International agreements will have to be approved in this parliament if there are soldiers and [00:23:32] weapons involved. We do not accept being part of Trump's Middle East order. [00:23:36] We do not accept the adventurism of Trump, which will send soldiers to the deserts of [00:23:40] Yemen for 100 years. Ancata frames its role as [00:23:44] defending Saudi Arabia. The Houthi's leader Abdul Malik al-huthi [00:23:48] has message for Ankara. [00:24:01] to involve the pakistanis as well, seeking their help day and night, [00:24:05] calling out for them to assist them, [00:24:07] to fight alongside them, to share in the sin and aggression against our [00:24:11] dear people. a senior official, says [00:24:15] the group doesn't expect Turkish or Pakistani troops [00:24:19] inside Yemen. but even indirect help he warns counts [00:24:22] as joining the war, and last month he warned Ankara and [00:24:26] Islamabad would meet an iron fist. [00:24:29] Yasin, RT in [00:24:31] Istanbul. I mean a [00:24:35] surge and IDF strikes on Lebanon, the country's prime minister has acknowledged the [00:24:39] critical budget shortfall. Despite Hezballah offering to provide [00:24:42] support, financial recovery remains a distant prospect as [00:24:46] Washington has tied additional support to the disarmament them. [00:24:55] pilot [00:24:56] one zones the sitting so-called right on the edge of Israel's yellow line, the zone of [00:24:59] occupation, a drone hovers overhead watching us omminously, and just [00:25:03] moments ago there was an air strikers fighter jets raw overhead watching us, [00:25:07] israely attacks are now intensifying across southern Lebanon, they're [00:25:11] increasingly striking areas beyond the shifting boundaries of its [00:25:15] so-called yellow zone, we have been displaced twice, [00:25:18] first in 2024, and again in 2026, this time the [00:25:22] situation was truly tragic, most the village was destroyed, there [00:25:26] is no sign of life, people were given ready-made housing units to [00:25:30] live in, but they are completely bare, there is nothing inside, even [00:25:34] securing water is difficult, and there it is absolutely no [00:25:37] electricity, most people sleep by candle [00:25:40] light. life is difficult due to the [00:25:44] constant presence of aircraft and ongoing strikes, we are always [00:25:47] anxious, there is nothing here [00:25:49] if i water pitcher, I can't find one. I can't even make cup of tea or [00:25:53] coffee. There's water, no refrigerator, no bed, no washing [00:25:57] machine. There is absolutely nothing. It is extremely [00:26:00] difficult. God help the army. It cannot even protect [00:26:03] itself, let alone get the necessary weaponry. How then could it [00:26:07] possibly protect civilians? Had there been a strong state a [00:26:10] well-armed military, Israel would never have dared to invade. At least [00:26:14] 35 artillery shells hit Mansori. This is village on the [00:26:18] end of that zone where the Israeli forces have progressively expanded their [00:26:22] area of control. Mansori was then hit again on with air strikes, [00:26:26] artillery and major detonations [00:26:28] and Israely fire is also reaching well beyond that so-called yellow zone. [00:26:32] near Maifordun, three Israeli artillery shells landed very close to journalists from [00:26:36] Algeidid and Navatia News uh fortunately there were no injuries in that [00:26:40] particular attack, but once again it highlights the danger to those reporting on [00:26:44] Israeli operations as journalists are routinely targeted. Israeli [00:26:48] forces attacked 15 southern towns with demolitions reported in six [00:26:52] them, and in Hoola, Israeli troops planted explosives inside the [00:26:55] Jabellammo public school and then detonated it, just one of many schools [00:26:59] destroyed in recent weeks. Now all of this came immediate. after prime minister [00:27:03] now of salam traveled to nearby nabatia promising reconstruction. his [00:27:07] visit, however, didn't go smoothly. he was confronted by residents [00:27:11] demanding to know when they could return home. many angry at what they see as [00:27:15] government action. locals use that relative calm around the [00:27:18] visit to enter nav alfawa and expect an inspector [00:27:22] home sorry for the first time in months, but even as salam spoke, the Israeli [00:27:26] attacks were hitting the surrounding area. i am not here [00:27:30] to sell you illusions nor to promise. I cannot deliver, we still [00:27:34] need significant funding. And it's the cost here that's key. Salam [00:27:37] previously identified the funding needed at 27 billion US [00:27:41] dollars a sum he says Lebanese State simply doesn't have. Now [00:27:45] following his visit, Hesbollah Secretary General Naim Kassam said that the [00:27:48] organization would contribute to shelter and reconstruction for the people [00:27:52] displaced from the south. Hezball MP Hasan Fadlala said on Saturday [00:27:56] that this pledge would unsettle the United States with Washington [00:27:59] insisting that AID is tied to disarmament. We will not [00:28:03] discuss the final figures relating to aid for our people in the housing [00:28:07] program, as this would come as a shock to the Americans. Well, exactly how much [00:28:11] money Hesbolar can provide and when remains unclear, but the immediate [00:28:14] problem isn't simply who pays for reconstruction, it's the expansion the [00:28:18] Israeli occupation. Uniform has documented Israeli forces operating [00:28:22] from nearly 30 positions in southern Lebanon, including eight [00:28:26] 45 bases. Israeli forces have already pushed beyond their own yellow [00:28:30] line in some areas while Israeli officials say they want to retain a [00:28:33] security zone extending as much as 10 kilometers inside [00:28:37] Lebanon. This comes as Salam continues to talk, at least on the [00:28:41] surface about Israeli withdrawal, seemingly in contradiction with the [00:28:45] reality on the ground. Your priorities will [00:28:48] remain our priorities: stopping the Israeli attacks, [00:28:52] Israel's complete withdraw from our territory, and the safe and [00:28:56] dignified return of people to their homes. Now the eighth round of talks [00:29:00] between Lebanon and Israel is planned for later this month. some saying they will take place in [00:29:03] Florida, but months of negotiations have so far produced little [00:29:07] concrete change for the people the south. Israel remains inside [00:29:11] Lebanon and is expanding its presence while escalating its attacks as [00:29:15] noted by uniful observers. hundreds have been killed since the latest [00:29:18] supposed ceasefire. cease fire is something which Israel has never really [00:29:22] added to. talks about reconstruction seem unrealistic while [00:29:26] Israely destruction continues. so the key question now is whether [00:29:30] the negotiations can produce something. "that [00:29:33] is an end to the attacks and an Israely withdrawal. All the evidence [00:29:37] on the ground suggest that in reality this is something of distant [00:29:41] hope.
