[00:00:18] Here of are the headlines on RT International: as Donald Trump announces, there's an [00:00:22] energy cease fire between Moscow and Keyev just day [00:00:26] after saying Ukraine [00:00:27] of needs a new leader, while Russia has yet to comment, Zelensky is called by [00:00:31] surprise, saying Kiev will agree if Moscow does [00:00:35] of the same. The Houties claim [00:00:38] responsibility [00:00:39] for series of operations against Saudi Arabia, confirming to RT, [00:00:43] of it was behind Saturday's attack on Riyad's main airport, which [00:00:47] killed 12 and wounded [00:00:49] of over 300. These attacks are [00:00:53] of Yemeny attacks. We do not do this out of revenge or to take vengeance, [00:00:57] but rather to force the Saudi leadership to accept a comprehensive. and permanent peace [00:01:01] by agreeing to end [00:01:02] the [00:01:08] of war and new delhi is hit by wave of protests for the [00:01:12] second day [00:01:12] in a row over alleged electoral fraud, [00:01:16] a claim that the Indian government [00:01:17] denies. [00:01:27] All right, at moments after 1 am on Monday here in Moscow. your top stories are [00:01:30] primed and ready to roll live on RT international. so [00:01:34] of Ukrainian media is claiming that heating and power plant in Hardikov has been hit [00:01:39] of in a strike, they are pointing the fingers squarely at Russia, and no [00:01:43] comment yet from Moscow, but the Ukrainian reports come just hours after [00:01:46] Trump claimed the warring sides had both agreed to immediate [00:01:50] halt to attacks on each other's energy [00:01:52] infrastructure. [00:01:56] effective immediately, there is an energy sacefire in the... between [00:02:00] Russia and Ukraine, both parties have agreed, do not [00:02:04] break it. Well, this is the second time in the span of [00:02:07] months [00:02:08] of that Donald Trump has declared surprisingly to the entire [00:02:12] world that Russia and Ukraine had agreed to an [00:02:15] energy for last time Zelensky came out very quickly and [00:02:19] said there's no such deal in place, [00:02:23] this time Zelensky has also come out and said that this is the [00:02:27] first [00:02:27] of time he's heard of it that if [00:02:30] of "Russia and the United States had agreed to an energy sees fire [00:02:34] that, please inform Ukraine, and Ukraine would be [00:02:38] willing to join in, which is in star contrast to what [00:02:41] Zolensky said previously, the last time Trump had [00:02:45] declared an energy cease fire between Russia and [00:02:49] Ukraine, Zelensky came out with all manner of [00:02:52] conditions uh now under tremendous [00:02:56] pressure with Trump himself coming out." [00:03:00] you - as well as American [00:03:02] of senators supporting Trump, congress people coming out and [00:03:06] saying that you know what, perhaps it's time for [00:03:10] Zelensky to go. should have never started, you wouldn't have lost [00:03:13] 30% of your country already, you've lost 30% of your [00:03:17] country [00:03:18] in and you've had over [00:03:20] of million of people killed, but he could have settled it many times and he chose not [00:03:24] to. that's a war that should have never started, and I think it's time for [00:03:28] Ukraine to get new president. [00:03:31] of Donald Trump uh referring there of course to [00:03:34] the multitude of peace [00:03:37] of deals that Russia had put forward, that the United States had [00:03:41] approved the deal made between the United States [00:03:44] and Russia in Anchorage in Alaska during the [00:03:48] meeting between Putin and [00:03:50] of Trump, they agreed [00:03:51] in a framework there, Ukraine rejected it, time and time [00:03:54] again for [00:03:55] of years, Ukraine has either rejected or demanded [00:03:58] of conditions, but Russia. wouldn't accept and here Donald Trump coming [00:04:02] outright to the public to cameras saying [00:04:06] these person is incapable of making a deal, [00:04:09] perhaps another should come in, they should hold [00:04:13] elections. Zelensky previously had dismissed any [00:04:16] notion of elections, his arguments had been that [00:04:20] simply too many people [00:04:21] have left Ukraine, then Zelensky complain that simply too many [00:04:25] people now live as Russian citizens in Zaparoji region [00:04:29] have... region, the [00:04:32] donbas, and elections, he said are simply [00:04:35] impossible, [00:04:37] of never mind, that russia staged [00:04:39] of elections in [00:04:41] in september, now the tune has changed, now he's demanding [00:04:45] a c fire, 60 [00:04:47] in days to [00:04:48] of hold elections in Ukraine, please tell Putin, give [00:04:52] us two months, 60 days [00:04:55] of of total cease fire, 60 days and we will organize [00:04:59] a of course we will be ready for [00:05:03] any choice of our people exactly [00:05:06] how [00:05:10] of quickly changed his mind on election? now that Donald Trump, [00:05:14] again senior united states official, even [00:05:17] even musk piled on saying that perhaps it is time for [00:05:21] Zelensky to move on, for someone new to [00:05:25] come in, nevertheless this is all [00:05:27] you know in star contrast to Zelensky before, now he's what [00:05:31] can only be described this panic mode, you've you've had reports, [00:05:35] endless reports of him calling European [00:05:38] officials seeking their support. [00:05:42] both the spat with the United States regarding elections, but [00:05:46] also America's insistence a halt to [00:05:49] strikes on Russian oil refineries, and that is what it, what is at [00:05:53] the root [00:05:54] of this? Previously, when Donald Trump very publicly came out and [00:05:57] said, "Ukraine must stop these strikes, Russia, of course, [00:06:01] before this conflict, supplying 20, more than [00:06:04] 20% the world's uh [00:06:07] global gas supplies and that of course is [00:06:11] shortage caused." by Ukrainian strikes, it hurts everyone, it [00:06:15] is felt by everyone, but no one quite [00:06:19] like the United States, where elections depend [00:06:23] on the price of uh gas, of petrol, of [00:06:26] diesel at the pump, and the United States and Russia have made [00:06:30] it deal whereby Putin has agreed to supply the United [00:06:34] States with diesel fuel again, which is [00:06:38] manufactured or made at Russian refineries [00:06:42] which are... [00:06:42] Zelensky came [00:06:43] out [00:06:50] and said no, we're going to burn all of, [00:06:54] which led to Donald Trump of course coming out and saying, [00:06:58] perhaps it's time for Zelensky to go, star [00:07:01] contrast to what Zelenski said [00:07:04] previously, why are they blaming [00:07:08] you for the continuation of this war, because [00:07:13] "these people can't find a key [00:07:17] how to stop Putin, [00:07:20] because it's more [00:07:23] difficult to stop Putin than to pressure [00:07:27] others, because it's more [00:07:31] simple to speak about the prices and connect [00:07:34] it with Ukraine, but it's obvious [00:07:38] Russia doesn't depend on the good will." the [00:07:42] congress the United States or any European [00:07:45] leader, Russia manufactures, it has its own [00:07:49] economy, it has its own sovereign decision making [00:07:52] process, Ukraine on the other hand, entirely [00:07:56] dependent on the United States, nevertheless we have [00:08:00] see you happening in real time a [00:08:03] change in Zelensky's domina from eternal [00:08:07] war to much more flexible approach [00:08:10] where again he is is trying to [00:08:14] appease Donald Trump, and while Donald Trump is [00:08:18] trying to broker an energy peace deal between Moscow and Kiev, the [00:08:22] Kremlin says Zelensky appears to have no intention of resolving the [00:08:26] conflict [00:08:26] peacefully. [00:08:30] Zelensky is a state of hysteria. If he were capable of deliberate [00:08:33] rational action, he would be showing inclination toward peace negotiations [00:08:37] right now, but he isn't. Instead, he demands more [00:08:40] capabilities, more [00:08:42] money in. structure access and the green light to strike deep into Russian territory from [00:08:46] all his overseas. He demands funds for air defense, [00:08:49] long-range weaponry and so on. In short, his Assyria drives [00:08:53] him to favor aggression against Russia, aggression he believes will be [00:08:57] effective. This is a mistake, a tragic mistake for [00:09:00] Ukraine. Well, earlier we spoke with a former US Marine [00:09:04] Core Intelligence officer Scott Ritter. A Scott says time is long [00:09:07] past for Zelensky to be making any demands. Scott also says Zelensky is [00:09:11] not in. position to dictate any rules. [00:09:15] Vlodimir Zelinski, I mean it's it's difficult to call him president, even though he claims [00:09:19] that title is, it's been pointed out, [00:09:22] his mandate expired a while back and he [00:09:25] um, hasn't held a new election, but uh, [00:09:28] Zelensky is in the position to dictate terms to nobody. [00:09:32] He's losing the war on the battlefield, he's losing the war [00:09:36] economically, he's losing the war uh politically, [00:09:40] both at home and abroad um. the the bottom line is [00:09:44] that President Trump is absolutely correct here, that uh, it's time for [00:09:48] Zelensky to go, the question is uh, who [00:09:51] will replace him and will this alter the uh, [00:09:55] the the the reality that currently has uh settled in over [00:09:59] Ukraine, Ukraine is defeated state, the uh experiment that [00:10:03] Europe and the United States foisted on Ukraine uh and beginning [00:10:06] this conflict um by empowering western Ukrainian [00:10:10] nationalists, this experiment has failed. and unless you [00:10:14] replaceinsky with somebody who recognizes the failure of [00:10:18] this experiment and acts accordingly, you're just going to get [00:10:21] a continuation the same. Washington's. rather [00:10:25] sudden actions in Moscow's favor have certainly caught Europe off [00:10:29] guard, while Trump has been cutting energy deals with Putin and lifting [00:10:33] sanctions on Russian diesel, it's rather different in Brussels, which will vote [00:10:37] in 24 hours on whether or not to impose its quote largest [00:10:41] ever package of sanctions on [00:10:43] Russia. Suspending [00:10:47] sanctions on Russian diesel provides Mosco with more revenues to wage war. This [00:10:51] is not the time ease pressure on Russia and Europe won't. On Monday. [00:10:55] EU foreign ministers intend to approve the biggest set of sanctions listings targeting Russia's [00:10:59] war machines since the start the war. And as the EU [00:11:02] is essentially committed to ruining its economies just to spite [00:11:06] Vladimir Putin, Washington has injected dose of reality, [00:11:10] calling European states hypocrites for slamming Trump's [00:11:14] diesel deal, while at the same time very quietly still [00:11:18] buying levels of Russian [00:11:19] energy. The [00:11:22] Europeans have given the Russian. more money [00:11:26] they since the start [00:11:27] of this war then they have given the Ukrainians because they cannot win themselves [00:11:31] off Russian energy, they had a failed [00:11:35] energy policy and Vladimir Putin they [00:11:38] they continue to fund him, so for them to [00:11:42] say that we cannot have a respit in diesel [00:11:46] pricing is completely hypocritical, well [00:11:49] a former advisor to Ukraine's prosecutor [00:11:51] general believes Zelensky was being... used as [00:11:55] a puppet to undermine Trump ahead of next month's midterm [00:11:59] elections in America, every time since the last [00:12:03] two years Zelansky was trying to sabotage Trump and have [00:12:06] him be more weaken weakening his position with the peace deals [00:12:10] especially trying to make him look like a fool with the or hitting the oil [00:12:14] refineries trying to make Trump look like a fool on the situation he is not in [00:12:18] control, but the problem is it's not just Zelansk, the people around [00:12:22] or Donald Trump who are also pushing such narratives. the deep state [00:12:25] actors, Brussels, London are working to [00:12:29] Berlin [00:12:29] and Paris, they're the ones who are giving Zelinsky the power to move forward [00:12:33] on this, and that is the the biggest issue. Today, [00:12:37] thank god, Washington came to its mind, and they understand [00:12:41] they can play this show, this puppet for their midterm elections. [00:12:45] Zelanski was playing them, now they're gonna play him, and I also talked [00:12:49] about this in your studio a couple of weeks ago that Zelensky [00:12:53] will be used to replace... [00:12:55] the the situation currently we used to play Zelansky maybe during the midterms, what is [00:12:59] going to be suitable for the president of United States [00:13:03] to use Ukraine and its show how Ukraine was using them [00:13:07] and again in their show, so this is this is what's really come to [00:13:11] Ukraine is is just puppet in election [00:13:14] processes, which hopefully in this situation [00:13:18] would come to such a good that there will be a change of government, not [00:13:22] just words from President Trump, and there will be actual... peace [00:13:25] afterwards because the rhetoric and the [00:13:29] lack of uh professionalism from the leadership [00:13:33] within Europe, we're seeing the changes in Europe happening right [00:13:37] now with especially the opposition parties in [00:13:40] Germany, which [00:13:43] are now getting the majority the support the population, [00:13:47] France is heating up pretty badly, Spain [00:13:51] and uh maybe next is going to be the UK itself, we're going to have. [00:13:55] also some sense come from [00:13:58] the from the people down under to the government, so it's [00:14:02] changing, but it's not going to be changing fast enough for the things to [00:14:05] cool down and [00:14:09] basically back back up the situation for peace within [00:14:12] Europe. Trump hopefully will continue his [00:14:15] rhetoric and not budge for Europe's [00:14:19] initiatives of supporting Zelensky, change the leadership in [00:14:23] Ukraine together with the Russian Federation. agree upon neutral [00:14:26] government and elections and not have europe take [00:14:30] any part of this, as mark said a [00:14:34] couple weeks ago, europe's position on negotiating [00:14:37] table, it's not there, so this is this is the reality [00:14:41] from washington, they don't see europe as somebody who they should be talking to [00:14:45] the same as Russia, so this is the main goals here, what does Washington and [00:14:49] Moscow think, not does what Brussel thinks, Russell is [00:14:52] just the problem in this... situation, that's why [00:14:56] it started the negotiating table as of [00:14:58] now. two [00:15:01] Saudi airports have come under attack this Sunday, a one them was struck for [00:15:05] the third time a week with one inbound cruise missile [00:15:09] intercepted and destroyed on approach to the facility, however [00:15:13] one the terminals there did sustain a direct hit. the [00:15:16] smoke was witnessed rising over king halid international airport after [00:15:20] fire broke out in terminal four. Yemen's hoothi movement said [00:15:24] it was behind. strikes is had to carried out four separate [00:15:28] operations against Saudi Arabia with the airport targeted in three [00:15:31] phases. The armed [00:15:35] forces carried out four quality. operations in the past 24 [00:15:39] hours, using ballistic [00:15:40] and cruise missiles and drones, that's in response [00:15:43] to the brutal saudi aggression against our country and our people, which launched [00:15:47] 124 air strikes in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number [00:15:51] of air strikes since the beginning the escalation against our country up to [00:15:54] 2058, committing massacres against our people, the majority of [00:15:58] whose victims are women and children. well, the hoothies had earlier warned [00:16:02] anyone from using Saudi Arabia's airports or airspace, [00:16:06] but the caution came day after. the group hit Riyad's airport leaving 12 [00:16:09] people dead at the scene. A 13th victim, an Indian [00:16:13] national died later in hospital confirmed by the country's [00:16:16] embassy. We'll bring in some fresh, fresh CCTV footage for you, [00:16:20] showing the exact moment the explosion inside the passenger fill [00:16:23] terminal. Moscow has condemned the violence, calling on both sides [00:16:27] to abandon attacks on civilian infrastructure. Now [00:16:30] authorities say over 300 people were wounded. The [00:16:34] Saudi health minister has visited injured patients a local. [00:16:47] Among the dead were four Saudi nationals, two Bangladeshies, one [00:16:51] American citizen, one Egyptian, one Jordanian, one [00:16:55] Syrian, and one Palestinian. May they all rest in peace, airport [00:16:59] operations remain suspended for the time being as a precautionary [00:17:02] measure to ensure the safety of facilities and the continuation of [00:17:06] operational process. The recent statement also confirms that [00:17:10] efforts are underway to assess the extent the material damages in [00:17:13] coordination with authorities. Today's toll may represent the highest [00:17:17] recorded from either hoothi or Iranian attacks during assaults on the kingdom of [00:17:21] Saudi Arabia. I must also mention the attempt to maintain [00:17:24] operations at King Fodd International Airport in Damasham, which is [00:17:28] situated outside the city. We are currently managing the situation as [00:17:32] there has also been an incident outside the airport area. This provides a [00:17:36] summary of what is trans thus far and we are waiting further details [00:17:40] regarding the injuries that are being treated. Furthermore, we have received [00:17:43] information concerning the extent the damage to that airport. According to our [00:17:47] sources, the areas impacted were terminal 3 and terminal 4. [00:17:51] Terminal 3 is designated for domestic flights between cities and Saudi [00:17:55] Arabia, while Terminal 4 accommodates certain international [00:17:58] carriers. [00:18:03] The group's actions were a direct response to aggression by the [00:18:07] south. against civilian areas across [00:18:09] Yemen. Yes, [00:18:13] these attacks are Yemeny attacks. After 12 years of Saudi aggression, [00:18:17] destroying Yemen infrastructure, whether airports, ports, even wedding and [00:18:21] funeral halls as well as schools, hospitals and markets. It targeted [00:18:25] everything in Yemen, and targeted and destroyed all infrastructure, and today [00:18:29] it acknowledges that airports are civilian facilities that must not be [00:18:32] targeted under international law, but we say that we deal with Saudi [00:18:36] Arabia in kind, and our military operations deep inside the Saudi [00:18:40] entity will continue and will not end except by destroying all Saudi [00:18:43] infrastructure belonging to the government, whether military facilities, airports, [00:18:47] or even ports and any vital facilities belonging to the Saudi regime. [00:18:51] We do not do this out of revenge or to take vengeance, but rather to force the Saudi [00:18:55] leadership to accept a comprehensive and permanent peace by agreeing to end the [00:18:59] war and end the siege by both sides. The Saudi leadership can agree to [00:19:03] achieve peace, and these are Yemen's demands. Well, this comes a... [00:19:07] rapid escalation the conflict in Yemen, but the Hutis have released footage with [00:19:11] which they say shows battles with Saudi back forces in the southwest the [00:19:15] country. The video comes as Saudi Arabia and its regional partners [00:19:19] plan to step up their military coordination on Monday, certainly [00:19:23] raising concerns the conflict could either expand further or just draw [00:19:27] even more countries. Earlier this week, Saudi [00:19:30] led forces in Yemen already destroyed three the Houti's rocket launch [00:19:34] platforms. The Saudi Air Force was said to have carried out [00:19:37] 124 air strikes in the last 24 [00:19:40] hours. Saudi political researcher Khalid batarfi [00:19:44] says Washington has already been drawn into this [00:19:48] conflict, the US is [00:19:51] enforced already by providing intelligence [00:19:55] and cooperate in many [00:19:57] matters, security [00:20:00] metters, also by providing what [00:20:03] saudi forces needed of equipment and union. [00:20:08] "what you are talking about is whether the United States [00:20:12] will help in attacking [00:20:16] this sources of fire [00:20:20] and whether they will support directly the Yemani [00:20:24] government uh well that's a matter to be considered [00:20:27] and according to Trump he didn't decide it yet uh [00:20:31] but a country as fast as Saudi [00:20:33] Arabia so many cities so many..." [00:20:37] oil installation, so many ports, we have 28 airports in [00:20:41] Saudi Arabia, so protecting this [00:20:44] much land and this much - [00:20:48] facilities will require... lots of [00:20:51] investment, lots of work, and I believe they are working on [00:20:55] this, the other side is getting [00:20:59] improved abilities like the new [00:21:03] missiles they are using against Saudi Arabia, they [00:21:07] have all the the fingerprints of [00:21:10] Iran on on that, and they have also [00:21:14] Iranian expert and Lebanese and [00:21:18] others helping them to do that. so let us wait and [00:21:22] see, but I expect Saudi Arabia to improve its [00:21:25] facility as well to respond to all this new [00:21:28] development. Well, another Middle East [00:21:32] conflict, which the US is fully involved in, of course, as its war on [00:21:36] Iran, and as both sides vy for control the strate of [00:21:39] horamus, the IRGC says a third oil tanker has been hit, [00:21:43] hit a mine in the waterway, now Iran has repeatedly warned that [00:21:47] any vessels passing through the straight with their... ation and id systems [00:21:51] switched off will be considered hostilean insis [00:21:55] it has full control the strategic [00:21:59] waterway. [00:22:03] suffered major defeat in the 12-day war [00:22:06] the enemy and then again in the 40-day war. they resorted to naval [00:22:09] blockade but that led them nowhere and recently they launched economic [00:22:13] isolation plan. they face defeat in almost every single [00:22:17] campaign they launched. the straight is under the control of... Iran and we are [00:22:20] managing it, well Iran is warning that if the US [00:22:24] resumes the war, Iran will expand its list of targets to include [00:22:28] data centers and other strategic assets in the UAE. [00:22:32] Washington meantime says it sanctions on Tehran are [00:22:35] working, the US treasury secretary claims Iran is financially [00:22:39] ruined, it can't even pay its armed forces [00:22:42] anymore, and I don't what the [00:22:46] I don't what uh crying uncle is in farcy, but going to be [00:22:50] crying, uncle uh, they they are collapsing, [00:22:54] they can't pay their soldiers. well, [00:22:56] the latest episode of new order here and rt, a former us national security [00:23:00] advisor John Bolton claims the west could readily [00:23:03] neutralize Iranian control over the straight of horamus. Bolton [00:23:07] in the hot seat this time is he's challenged on that and whether or not US [00:23:11] sanctions are working at all, or have they just [00:23:14] backfired? what do you think the fact [00:23:18] that no one really cares anymore? about the threat of us [00:23:21] sanctions, um, I actually don't know what you response [00:23:25] was to uh, the lance at publication that US [00:23:29] sanctions have killed 38 million people, between [00:23:33] 1971 and 2021 is the estimate in the esteemed [00:23:36] British medical journal the launset, no one cares about the sanctions [00:23:40] anymore, the US can threaten India all it likes, it will continue [00:23:44] trading with Russia, well it depends on the sanctions, it [00:23:48] depends on how they're being in forced. and and what effect [00:23:52] it has on the targets? i think in the case of Iran [00:23:56] right now, the blockade on oil exports [00:24:00] and any imports into Iran is having a very significant effect. I [00:24:03] think the government is ever ever more [00:24:07] susceptible to being overthrown from within, the economy, which is [00:24:11] already in bad shape, is in worse shape, so these are the kinds of [00:24:14] sanctions that are actually enforced that [00:24:17] really. don't sanctions have proven [00:24:21] time and time again not to work, we're talking about a country with the [00:24:24] largest uh, i don't biggest car manufacturer in this [00:24:28] region from where i'm speaking to you, and journalists who've been there [00:24:32] recently tell me that those who oppose their government now [00:24:36] support their government, you do understand the rally around the flag effect [00:24:40] the illegal bombing, [00:24:41] i don't think that's the effect - i [00:24:43] don't i don't think that's the effect it's having inside around, and by the way, speaking of sanctions, i [00:24:47] think the government the UAE has done exactly the right thing [00:24:51] by saying that they will [00:24:52] not allow uh Iran to to trade [00:24:56] or or launder their finances through UAE financial [00:25:00] institutions, I think that's going to have and is having a significant [00:25:03] negative impact on the regime's ability to stay a float [00:25:07] financially, and yet the UAE and Iran were in the same [00:25:11] table of course in Delhi signing that declaration and back [00:25:15] to those sanctions on Russia, which shows about what significance it's going [00:25:19] to have, reminds me of my days back in the United Nations when the General [00:25:23] Assembly routinely passed resolutions that went from the floor [00:25:27] the General Assembly right into a file never to be reviewed [00:25:30] again. [00:25:35] And so for second day a row. New Delhi has been [00:25:39] hit with protests over alleged electoral fraud. Now the [00:25:43] government rejects the claim, insisting that India's economic growth and the prime [00:25:47] minister's popularity are the keys [00:25:49] to the reasons. successes at the ballot box india [00:25:52] correspondent reports now [00:25:56] thousands of protesters have been detained by the Delhi Police and [00:26:00] commandos and forces from other forces as well [00:26:04] which includes CRPF, Raf, SSB, BSF [00:26:07] etc. now these protesters were detained because they were year out on the [00:26:11] streets of New Delhi and central Delhi protesting [00:26:15] against Janesh Kumar who is the chief election [00:26:18] commissioner of India and they are demanding his resignation [00:26:22] along with other demands like scrapping of SIR voter [00:26:26] list because over 130 million people were left [00:26:29] out the voter list now remember these tests were led by the [00:26:33] Cookroat Janta party that is the CJP, however the main [00:26:37] members and the founder of this party was detained [00:26:41] just yesterday as soon as they landed in Delhi for the protest, [00:26:45] today as of now they have been released and they also held a press [00:26:49] briefing where they have said and ensured everybody that all [00:26:53] these protests would still continue till their [00:26:56] demands are met, now remember all these areas of New Delhi [00:27:00] and central Delhi are coming under the BNSS [00:27:03] 163 section which enforces the [00:27:07] rule that more than four people cannot gather in one location [00:27:11] and if done so then they would be detained hence lot of [00:27:15] protesters, more than thousands of protesters have been detained [00:27:18] in these two days. now the [00:27:22] police have not seen any violence happening [00:27:26] during these protests, however the police are [00:27:29] taking extra care that these... tests do [00:27:33] not go further, they are not allowing people to gather in one [00:27:36] place, over 200 or 300 police [00:27:40] march in the streets these lanes in central [00:27:44] delhi and new delhi where they try to detain these [00:27:47] protests and control the crowd movement. in [00:27:51] fact we have also witnessed that there have been water [00:27:55] cannons, vehicles, lot of police vans and buses [00:27:58] to detain these protesters and also a lot of [00:28:02] tier gas vehicles placed and stationed [00:28:06] in some areas where these protests are going on. now [00:28:10] all these protests were going to happen a designated place that's the jantar [00:28:14] mantar here in Delhi, however the permission was denied for the [00:28:18] protest to happen there, which is exactly why a lot of [00:28:21] protesters, including student union members [00:28:25] started protesting just near the areas of jantar [00:28:29] mantar which is also this place called Knot place. now [00:28:33] lot of protesters have already been detained but people are [00:28:37] still coming in, in fact the important thing [00:28:41] to note here is that people are still coming [00:28:45] in, even though CJP has said that these protests would [00:28:48] continue and tomorrow there is a chance that [00:28:52] different political parties which are the opposition political parties [00:28:56] might also carry forward with such [00:28:59] protest and with the same demands, [00:29:02] in fact Last week we also witnessed that India block [00:29:06] which is the multiparty opposition block of [00:29:09] India also held a series of protests back to back [00:29:13] demanding the same [00:29:15] things.
