[00:00:02] of me [00:00:15] of [00:00:25] any words, initiatives or ideas entering the public discourse, so he can [00:00:29] push for... breathing room, Russia's foreign minister dismisses Vladimir [00:00:33] Zelenskire calls as a ploy to [00:00:36] re-group Ukraine's forces. That is, after Keyev [00:00:40] demanded the guns fall silent for 60 days to [00:00:44] allow for elections. The more we help Ukraine, the [00:00:48] sooner the war will be over. And Brussels adopts yet another [00:00:52] package of anti-Russian sanctions with the EU hoping its [00:00:55] 22nd round of restrictions will do what the previous 21s [00:00:59] have. fail to do of [00:01:00] of course of that to try and bring Moscow to its [00:01:04] of knees. Also in the program, Europe condemns the deadly hoothy [00:01:08] in attacks on Riyad's main airport, blaming the group for causing a [00:01:11] spiral of violence. Although Brussels conveniently overlooks its [00:01:15] own role in fueling the violence when it pumped Saudi Arabia [00:01:19] full of weapons in the earlier phases [00:01:23] of of in the in conflict. And India sees a third day of mass [00:01:27] protests as demonstrators accused the ruling part. of electoral [00:01:31] of fraud and with the government rejecting the accusations, we look into the [00:01:35] root causes [00:01:36] of the [00:01:36] unrest. [00:01:45] well, good evening from Moscow, it's our just after 8 p.m. on [00:01:48] of Monday and we should be wall to wall with our guests and correspondents, lot of [00:01:52] commentary for you live this hour on RT international. so Vladimir [00:01:56] Zelensky will do anything to [00:01:58] a buy time to regr. That is the view of Russia's [00:02:01] foreign minister, emit yet more talk [00:02:05] of from Keyev of a cease [00:02:07] of fire. In recent months, the [00:02:11] of call for a ceasefire has replaced the call for inflicting a strategic defeat [00:02:15] on Russia, in the rhetoric of both [00:02:18] of Zelensky and his western masters. The goal is [00:02:20] of singular and very simple, to buy time. He is even said [00:02:24] he is willing to hold a presidential election, provided he is given [00:02:28] two months to regroup. During that period, Europe could flood him [00:02:32] with new weaponry to continue his terrorist war against the Russian [00:02:35] people, [00:02:36] of but his feined astonishment regarding President Trump's statement reflects [00:02:40] only one thing: that he desperately wants to use any [00:02:43] words, any initiatives [00:02:46] of and any ideas that enter the public sphere to promote his interest in [00:02:50] a breathing space, by hook or by Crook. I do not believe [00:02:53] a he has earn such [00:02:57] a a respit, nor do I think we will once again fall for assurances or promises. The president. has stated this very [00:03:01] of clearly. We continue to pursue the objectives [00:03:04] of the special military operation. These objectives are well-known [00:03:07] to everyone. We have never [00:03:09] of altered them, unlike the zigzags and evasions of Zelensky and his [00:03:13] European masters. The political pressure on Vladimir [00:03:17] Zelenski is mounting on several [00:03:20] of fronts. First, as you know, the American president has stressed Ukraine is [00:03:23] a in need of new leadership. In response, Zelensky demanded [00:03:27] a 60-day total cease. to prepare the country to go to the [00:03:31] polls, but it's not just electoral issues that have put Zelensky's old [00:03:35] acting skills back on display, [00:03:39] buse after Washington announced a deal on Russian diesel exports, the [00:03:43] decision was not well received in Kiev and by [00:03:47] of of Vladimir Zelensky [00:03:48] of in of particular. President Trump said [00:03:51] of that um that we need Ukraine needs new president, so [00:03:55] first of all with all respect to president [00:03:57] a Trump uh... "it's up to [00:04:01] our society, up to our people to choose [00:04:04] one or another leader. why are they [00:04:08] blaming you for the continuation of this war? [00:04:11] because these people can't find [00:04:15] a key how to stop [00:04:19] of Putin, because it's [00:04:21] more [00:04:24] of difficult to stop Putin than to pressure [00:04:27] others. well, [00:04:31] of [00:04:34] to [00:04:37] a make an enemy out of Donald Trump. the recent reaction, the outburs of [00:04:40] anger from the Ukrainian [00:04:44] of leader after the quite historical words [00:04:47] coming from the mouth [00:04:50] of the President [00:04:50] of the United States Donald Trump, that the democratic [00:04:54] election should be put in place [00:04:57] in in Ukraine because the current leader is not. serving his [00:05:01] nation and the um its um [00:05:05] uh rightfully um so [00:05:08] basically um Mr. Zelinski is putting everything. [00:05:12] into one basket, so basically she's he's playing a [00:05:16] Russian, quite simply put it, because he's [00:05:20] batting on democrats coming to power [00:05:23] after the midterms elections related to this [00:05:27] popularity the Donald Trump in the United States due to [00:05:30] his um unnecessary conflict with Iran, [00:05:34] so uh basically the the the thinking [00:05:38] in Brussels and both in Kiev and Brussels is [00:05:41] that... the democrats will take the majority in the United [00:05:45] States, the uh the previous scenario, which is [00:05:49] continuation of maximum pressure on Russia and [00:05:52] supplying Ukraine with [00:05:56] money and weapons will continue, so I think that [00:06:00] this is the uh one way streak um for for Mr. Zelinski, [00:06:04] because maybe even if the democrats will come to power, [00:06:08] still the Donald Trump is a president and has a significant [00:06:12] uh... influence over the foreign policy of his own uh country, [00:06:16] so I i think that making an enemies both with [00:06:19] Russia and United States who is the main sponsor, who has been the main [00:06:23] sponsor of this unnecessary conflict uh is very dangerous [00:06:27] uh again plan from Mr. Zelenski in his political [00:06:30] circle now this all comes as the European [00:06:34] Union has approved yet another package of [00:06:38] sanctions on Russia by the way it's number 22, Russells once again [00:06:42] claimed. It's important to keep increasing pressure on Moscow and provide yet [00:06:45] more support to Ukraine, at the same time, it's very [00:06:49] unhappy with Donald Trump's new diesel deal with [00:06:52] Russia. We acknowledge the [00:06:56] agreement between the United States and Russia regarding the export of [00:06:59] diesel, Russia will only negotiate seriously under [00:07:02] pressure, which is why [00:07:03] we are sticking to our sanctions against Russia. The more we help Ukraine, [00:07:07] the sooner the war will be over. What we need to do is refocus and redouble our [00:07:11] efforts. keeping pressure on Russia, that has to be our priority and that is [00:07:15] Europe's priority, this deal doesn't help neither the [00:07:19] prices the oil products, nor the unity within the [00:07:22] transatlantic community what concerns pressure on Russia, and it is [00:07:26] not the European way, our way is to increase pressure buse we [00:07:30] already seen how it works, we are not done here cuuse for Europe this [00:07:34] is the vital interest to help Ukraine to sustain [00:07:38] uh this winter and continuing putting as I already said pressure, pressure [00:07:42] pressure. on Russia. On Friday, Trump and Putin cut a deal [00:07:46] with Washington lifting sanctions on Moscow's diesel [00:07:49] exports. The news saw oil prices fall, although [00:07:53] they remain above 100 bucks a barrel. According to the [00:07:56] agreement, Moscow will supply 300 thousand tons of diesel [00:08:00] to American and global markets followed by a further half million in [00:08:04] November. Another million will come after that with a further 3 [00:08:08] million later depending on the condition of Russia's refineries. The [00:08:11] decision has... been seized upon by much the media, although they do conveniently [00:08:15] ignore Europe's own continued thirst for Russian fuel, something [00:08:19] that hasn't escaped the attention the US [00:08:23] president. The European [00:08:27] Union paid Russia 250 billion dollars for energy, [00:08:30] and the fake news media doesn't want to get near that story. I made the [00:08:34] right choice for the American people, always America [00:08:37] first. The 22nd package of sanctions, you sanctioning all [00:08:41] these Russian. entities and Russian companies, firms, people, [00:08:45] just individuals, and clearly this happening against the backdrop of this diesel deal, again [00:08:49] it's a message to Washington, [00:08:50] but realistically though, this has been the point that Europe has been making all [00:08:54] along, like we need to apply pressure on Russia to bring the [00:08:58] war, the end the war closer, this is clearly not working, but you know this [00:09:02] definition of insanity, one the definitions, insanity is you know [00:09:06] doing the same thing over and over again and each time [00:09:09] hoping for different result, well I'm sure they are already. thinking what they could include [00:09:13] into the 23rd package, how can we make the 23rd sanctions [00:09:17] package the biggest yet? you can clearly hear the rhetoric, for [00:09:20] instance, the what the Estonian prime minister has said, who [00:09:23] openly, openly defied Washington and [00:09:27] called upon Ukraine to keep on striking the Russian [00:09:30] oil refineries, have listen, such [00:09:34] an agreement goes against the long-term efforts the western world to limit the [00:09:38] flow of energy revenues to Putin, the U.S. is already convinced [00:09:42] allies, including us, to abandon Russian fuel. The long-term [00:09:46] goal of depriving Russia of funds is correct, and it must be [00:09:49] continued. In Estonia, and at the European Council, it is [00:09:53] worth discussing next week whether we can quickly contribute more to Ukraine [00:09:57] so that they can strike Russian oil refineries. It [00:10:01] is a bit ironic though that they cry foul in [00:10:05] unison all together, Europe saying, oh, how can you give, how can [00:10:09] you fund, fund Putin's war effort with your money? with your [00:10:12] diesel deal, and it is ironic, because this is something that Europe has been [00:10:16] doing all these years, literally all these years, Europe has been [00:10:20] buying gas, has been buying russia, russia's metals uh, pretty [00:10:24] much... just this year alone they purchased Europe purchased just about [00:10:28] 10 billion dollars worth of goods from Russia, six billions, just [00:10:32] over 6 billions accounting for with well well with gas accounting [00:10:36] for 6.1 billion of of this. now of course we [00:10:40] don't know how how much Russia will get in this diesel deal with the [00:10:44] United States given how many steps in it there is, but [00:10:47] essentially if you look at the at the oil prices and if you take the figure as [00:10:51] to how much Russia has agreed so far to to supply [00:10:55] the United States with, that's in the realms of 7 [00:10:59] billion dollars, yeah, so 6 billion for gas in case of Europe, [00:11:03] 7 billion uh, in case of diesel in the United States, Europe has [00:11:07] been doing all the same things, they have been you know also funding Putin's war [00:11:11] efforts and so on, it just they've been doing it quietly, seems like the only [00:11:14] threat to to this deal is Kiev, because Zelinski said that he's going to [00:11:18] continue attacking Russian oil refineries, but [00:11:22] why is he so keen on uh? sabotaging [00:11:25] Washington's uh plans. Well, it's pretty clear, you just have to look at what [00:11:29] Kiev has had to say before that. They wanted this energy deal, but [00:11:33] a very different well-shape and form. They wanted [00:11:37] strikes against you know power stations to be included to be [00:11:40] banned under this deal, strikes against port infrastructure, against [00:11:44] rail infrastructure. They wanted all of that to be banned under this, [00:11:48] umbrella energy deal. Well, Russia has from the very good go has [00:11:52] been saying, well, refineries fine, let's let's hold the... strikes and [00:11:55] well it's it's clear why, because well Ukraine doesn't really produce [00:11:59] anything in this sense. Zelensky, well he's been uh, he's been [00:12:03] making some very unhinged claim saying that well, the United States should have come [00:12:07] to Ukraine and made deal with Ukraine, as if Ukraine, [00:12:11] well in his words it does, controls the out the Russian [00:12:14] output, have [00:12:15] a have listen, why doesn't America conclude a diesel deal with [00:12:19] Ukraine? Let Ukraine offer a diesel deal, we [00:12:23] influence whether these ships go or not, whether these refineries work or [00:12:26] not, so yes, let's sign the corresponding diesel deal with the President [00:12:30] the United States of America. Again, this is also quite [00:12:34] ironic to come from a man whose entire budget, entire country [00:12:38] lives of whatever Europe has to give to them, [00:12:41] otherwise they don't even have enough to pay salaries to the most crucial part [00:12:45] their society right now, and that's their serviceman. teams [00:12:49] that the weight of supporting uh Kiev's [00:12:52] war machine is now uh being... pressed on uh Brussel's [00:12:56] shoulders, so what does Russia have to say about? Indeed, it has been [00:13:00] the policy the Trump administration for a while now, [00:13:04] you know, let Europe pay for the war in Europe. According to Russia, well, [00:13:08] Europe has already shown that it is not, they can say, they can [00:13:11] talk however much they want about wanting to bring this war to an [00:13:15] end, but they don't, because every because we've seen everything that they have implied [00:13:19] so far, here it has failed, but still, Europe is [00:13:23] definitely a party act. like a party in this war while Washington is [00:13:27] trying to uh have look and try to trying to find [00:13:30] solutions, the Europeans clearly do not belong to [00:13:34] the party of peace, the party that seeks ways toward a peaceful settlement. the [00:13:38] Europeans are more like the party of war which continues to do everything to prevent [00:13:42] this war from stopping. we are far more impressed by the efforts the American [00:13:46] negotiators. so right now we are a bit of cross roads here with [00:13:50] one way being, well it could all with, mean all of this huffing [00:13:54] and puffing if... "that will just remain that you know all talk [00:13:58] and uh Europe and Zelensky will talk uh very [00:14:01] tough but won't act on these words, or if they will decide [00:14:05] to directly try and disrupt Russia's well shipments to the United [00:14:09] States, beat vessels or be it attacks against you know infrastructure inside [00:14:12] Russia and that would be interesting to see if they choose that that [00:14:16] sort of course of events, if they choose the latter then well Trump has quite a few quite [00:14:20] a few means to apply pressure and to punish uh anyone well in [00:14:24] Ukraine for..." in Ukraine and Europe for disobedience, starting with the [00:14:28] most obvious options like cutting intelligence sharing and switching off the [00:14:31] starlink, dishes and despite [00:14:35] European condemnation of a US deal with Russia, Europe certainly [00:14:39] faces its own diesel problems. Decades of policies [00:14:43] favoring diesel have left the EU heavily dependent on it, [00:14:46] while the prices have surged across the entire [00:14:50] block. In Germany, the prices are just going through the roof, while in the [00:14:54] Netherlands they've... even higher, the spike is [00:14:57] adding to the pressure on European drivers and businesses already [00:15:01] strangled by rising [00:15:02] costs. Our costs have [00:15:06] increased by around 300 to 400 a month, if this trend [00:15:10] continues throughout the year, we will end up spending additional 3,600 to [00:15:14] 400 year on fuel [00:15:16] alone. The government seems [00:15:19] to be living an elitist bubble, completely disconnected from the lives of [00:15:23] most Portuguese people. You only have to go to cafe or a [00:15:27] supermarket and talk to ordinary people to find out what their biggest concerns [00:15:30] are. They're worried about the price of diesel and the cost of [00:15:33] rent. Well let's break this all down with an expert crossing. Right [00:15:37] now, there he is, Iker Hammer, economist and publisher the Verdshaft's [00:15:41] actual business letter, joining us live and worldwide here on RT International, so [00:15:45] glad to get you ik, what do you think of this mate, European leaders [00:15:48] condemming Trump's diesel deal with Russia, arguing it's all [00:15:52] about, well he's funding Moscow's war, and yet [00:15:56] Iker, amid surging diesel prices, are European [00:15:59] governments prioritizing political commitments to Ukraine over their [00:16:03] own economic interests, perhaps, well... [00:16:07] less definitely, but even worse. We all have to remember that [00:16:11] it's pretty recent, they gave a present to [00:16:15] the Israelians [00:16:16] of few hundred thousand liters of of diesel, so they gave it [00:16:20] away for present, even [00:16:22] the the emergency reserve, now they are touching the emergency reserve [00:16:25] because Donald Trump ordered them. I guess it is because he [00:16:29] wants to win the midterm elections after 2nd [00:16:32] November, his his aims are totally [00:16:36] different, but now... now the governments in the [00:16:39] so-called west Europe, like the German government, they have [00:16:43] to explain their people why they betray them, why they give [00:16:47] the diesel away, whereas the diesel price is going through the roof [00:16:51] within Germany, and on the same time the AFD, the [00:16:55] opposition is winning one elect after the next a [00:16:58] landside, a leng slide wins, and this is [00:17:02] now getting very very nervous, especially within the parties in the [00:17:06] ruling parties. because more and more these functionaries [00:17:10] have to go home, they are are out of business, and when they are [00:17:14] out of business, they don't know anything else but being politicians and [00:17:18] and and liking this this luxury life, so now [00:17:22] we really have a the problem that these [00:17:25] politicians cannot justify their behavior, and it's getting more [00:17:29] and more obvious for the ordinary on the street that they [00:17:32] are, that they are betrayed by their own politicians. yeah, i [00:17:36] think [00:17:37] you make very good... point that hence we've seen so many protests and [00:17:40] demonstrations across major European cities in the past few days, you know [00:17:44] people are upset with the total cost of living for example, social services, but they're [00:17:48] also at the end the day, like you suggest, they just fed up with the damn [00:17:51] establishment, never looking out for the everyday tax payers [00:17:55] interests, meantime, the European economy has just been gutted [00:17:59] and continues to be gutted ever since Europe said no more Russian [00:18:02] energy, do [00:18:04] do you think Europe is in such a corner now of being? so [00:18:08] rusophobic that there's no chance of Europe and Russia [00:18:11] ever agreeing on some kind of mutually beneficial [00:18:15] economic project again. I have [00:18:18] the very bad suspicion that these European [00:18:22] politicians or the European bureaucrats, I have to say, [00:18:25] because the European Commission are not politician, they are not elected, [00:18:29] they are appointed by some backdoor ch or back chamber [00:18:33] uh things and they are extremely nervous to... [00:18:37] lose their power because people are not, they [00:18:41] don't like them anymore, they are against them, and they must [00:18:45] have, or it could be, that they have betrayed the [00:18:49] European people much more than anybody is still [00:18:52] imagining, for example, to take away some frozen [00:18:56] assets, maybe from Russia, or maybe not only the interest, [00:19:00] but even more, and they don't know how to how to get these these [00:19:04] funds back, so they are playing with the... the [00:19:08] European Union, on the same time, France is collapsing and [00:19:12] needs big big time help, everything against the rules against [00:19:16] the contracts that have formed the European [00:19:19] Union, and thus it is very obvious that [00:19:22] they are at the end their their possibilities, and in this [00:19:26] situation normally you try escape into an [00:19:30] outside problem, like a war. war has been [00:19:34] for decades, for centuries, it has been the last... [00:19:38] um [00:19:38] the last mean of of escaping the responsibility [00:19:42] for your mistakes or your betrays you did [00:19:46] against the own population and now they are seeing we don't [00:19:49] really get this done anymore because donald trump is working [00:19:53] together [00:19:53] with the russians now just at the diesel thing but maybe [00:19:57] even more things and we don't get the war done because let's face [00:20:01] it war with the German or with the [00:20:05] NATO armies is not possible against the will [00:20:09] the United States, all key skills are at the [00:20:13] United States and all key skills, if it's [00:20:16] planes, if it's rockets, if it's whatsoever, is [00:20:19] only with allowance the United States, if they [00:20:23] say no, there is no war possible, and now of [00:20:27] course they are very, very scared, yeah, i hear you, you [00:20:31] know, it's it's such a state of affairs when you see these politicians in [00:20:35] Europe [00:20:35] for example, they get on the microphone, they say: all this stuff, and yet the everyday [00:20:39] taxpayer, I think we're all understanding, they're so full of crap these [00:20:42] days. I i think to be a European politician, you have to be a professional [00:20:46] deviant, because they have no desire to look out for the everyday. [00:20:50] taxpayer who put them in office. I mean, look, let ask you this and I'll let you go, but quickly, [00:20:53] Iker. If the goal in the EU was European security and [00:20:57] prosperity, then how much longer can these governments sustain a [00:21:01] policy that pressures Russia while increasing the costs for their [00:21:05] own population. You've got 30 seconds, my apologies [00:21:09] and it [00:21:09] it keeps until Ukraine stops to exist, [00:21:13] because then nearly 1 trillion of [00:21:17] loans is are evaporating and... that spills [00:21:20] away the European politicians, because they are backed [00:21:24] by Anglo-American financial groups and they will not [00:21:28] excuse to uh to write down all [00:21:31] these nearly 900 or nearly one [00:21:34] trillion dollar loans from Ukraine [00:21:38] and so they are then they are done, I think [00:21:42] latest end of next year year after uh this thing [00:21:46] is over uh one the few voices of reason in Europe right? Now [00:21:50] Ig Hammer, so good to get you on the program, economist and publisher [00:21:54] the Verdshaft Actuel Business Letter. Thank you very much. [00:21:58] You're very welcome, thank you. The battle [00:22:01] for Yemen is most certainly intensifying, hoothi forces are moving to [00:22:05] secure key areas and the marib and Taiz provinces as the group [00:22:09] seeks to expand its control over the country. The hootis have released [00:22:13] footage their offensive against the Saudi-backed forces in those [00:22:17] districts, which are at the last government controlled strong. holds on the road to the [00:22:21] strategic port city of Aden, [00:22:23] now this video you're seeing right now, [00:22:25] it cannot be independently verified, now the Houthies have already [00:22:29] claimed to have seized the port of Mocca and Petim [00:22:32] Island, are two key areas which tighten their grip on the critical [00:22:36] Bab almandab straight. Meanwhile, [00:22:40] Saudi Arabia has issued urgent alerts for civilians near the border with [00:22:44] Yemen, that's after huuti missile attack on the city of [00:22:47] ABA, report say a Saudi ed fences managed to intercept an [00:22:51] incoming ballistic missile, some footage here of what appears to be [00:22:55] impact points in the city, all this after Riad International Airport [00:22:59] was attacked three times this past week, with the [00:23:02] latest, that one on Saturday, I should say, claiming the lives of [00:23:06] 13 [00:23:07] people. [00:23:38] These attacks are Yemeny attacks. We do not do this out of revenge or to take [00:23:42] venge, but rather to force the Saudi leadership to accept a comprehensive and [00:23:46] permanent peace by agreeing to end the war. [00:23:50] Well Europe has most certainly been among the voices condemning that attack on [00:23:54] Riad's international [00:23:55] airport. The [00:23:59] deadliest Houti attack so far on Riyad's airport marks a dangerous [00:24:03] escalation. These attacks by Iran's proxies are pushing the region [00:24:07] into a spiral of violence. Now, [00:24:11] despite those words, Riad is said to be deeply disappointed by [00:24:14] the scale of support from its western allies. That is being [00:24:18] reported by the way. by Bloomberg citing its own [00:24:22] sources, well against this backdrop, the [00:24:25] Saudis have been pressing European capitals for concrete military [00:24:29] assistance, namely requesting aid from London, Paris [00:24:33] and Berlin. Britain is essentially sending out these requests here, [00:24:37] because at the end the day they're asking for air defenses and support for Saudi fighter [00:24:41] jets. France, by the way, has pledged troops, radar [00:24:45] equipment and defense systems to help protect energy infrastructure, key [00:24:48] point right there. While Riat has officially requested help from Germany, it [00:24:52] is still unclear whether Berlin has or will [00:24:56] provide any assistance, and while help from [00:25:00] Europe is clearly on the table right now, it's actually that the scale of [00:25:04] support is rather different than how it was back in 2015, have look right here, [00:25:08] because uh, the end the day, [00:25:10] as the Saudi led push into Yemen first began, the countries were [00:25:14] literally lining up at Riyad's door, only too happy to approve [00:25:17] billions of euros worth of Arms. export licenses, [00:25:21] France, you see top the chart with a whopping 17 billion in [00:25:25] deals, the UK was a distance second, pocketing four and [00:25:29] a half billion, while Berlin was certainly cashing into [00:25:33] level of around two billion euros, so let's take this conversation [00:25:37] further right now, and cross live to faizal al-shamari, colonist at [00:25:40] arab news and macca newspaper, very warm welcome to you today, sir, thank you [00:25:44] so much for joining us live and worldwide here on RT, why do you think why [00:25:48] has EU support for Saudi Arabia in Yemen [00:25:52] scaled down since 2015 when we're seeing such [00:25:55] escalation of attacks, thank you [00:25:59] for having me, first of all, second, I think uh [00:26:03] we should name uh the name al [00:26:07] group the real name group is not a movement is a [00:26:11] terrorist organization which took we have to go [00:26:15] back in time 2015 they took san by force and [00:26:19] pushed the yemeni legitimate government which is recognized [00:26:22] internationally even recognized [00:26:24] by by the UN and lot of [00:26:28] European countries and the US and even Russia [00:26:31] so uh Saudi Arabia interven based on the request, then they [00:26:35] pushed them back all the way to Sanha. What's going on now [00:26:39] and what's different now is the war uh [00:26:42] US and Israel led against Iran, this was going on [00:26:46] in Yemen and the escalation, it it's very well connected to that. I [00:26:50] think we need to be clear, Saudi Arabia is not asking the [00:26:54] European country or the EU to fight its wars asking [00:26:57] for their their partners to take regional security [00:27:01] seriously. because at the end the day what whatever going on in [00:27:05] Yemen, whatever going on in Saudi Arabia, it's gonna affect the European [00:27:09] countries and it's gonna affect the global energy [00:27:13] markets and it's gonna affect the global economy, [00:27:16] so while condemning the attacks in Saudi Arabia, which [00:27:20] if we take it based a UN [00:27:24] mandate, that the attack on king khalid airport which [00:27:27] led to 13 casualty and almost 300 [00:27:31] injures is ' war [00:27:34] crime out on square, [00:27:37] so I think Saudi Arabia is asking the [00:27:41] European countries to be their partners and [00:27:44] asking them as well to take responsibility for [00:27:48] the sea lanes, which is not the responsibility the gulf countries or Saudi Arabia, [00:27:52] international sea lanes is important for international [00:27:56] orders and it need to be protected by the [00:28:00] European allies and international allies. "I mean, do you think, do you [00:28:04] think it should be fairly easy, shouldn't it for read right now to be getting help [00:28:08] from European partners considering how energy on the [00:28:11] global stage has been so heavily disrupted, whether [00:28:15] it's a lack of Russian energy, lack of energy from the Persian gulf region, there was [00:28:19] a huge blast at one the biggest refineries in Venezuela in the past couple [00:28:23] of days as well, so so so shouldn't European partners of Riad [00:28:27] be perhaps more willing to supply more defensive [00:28:31] weapons to the kingdom of Saudi." Arabia, I, I think, I [00:28:35] think European partners are very well [00:28:39] engaged in the Ukraine war and they're spending lot of money [00:28:42] in the supporting the Ukrainian government against Russia and [00:28:46] supporting them with weapon and supplies, at the end the day you [00:28:49] Saudi Arabia is not asking for a hand hand out, Saudi Arabia is paying for [00:28:53] all these weapons. I read report, [00:28:59] report it was, it was from CNN, so I take it with a pinch of salt, but from CNN just the other day said that there are two... American [00:29:03] military advisers from the Pentagon currently assisting the Saudi [00:29:07] side, do you have any any comment on [00:29:09] that? Based on the same [00:29:12] reports, CNN, [00:29:15] Bloomberg and so on, they're claiming that, I don't have any [00:29:19] concrete evidence of that, but what I know is [00:29:22] Pakistani partner and Turkish partners are in Saudi Arabia for [00:29:26] defensive rolls helping, so the based on the Mecca [00:29:30] agreement, right? I was going to ask you. about the Mecca agreement in just moment because [00:29:34] essentially with a hoothi apparently via satellite images we're [00:29:37] seeing huthi gains in marib and taiz what [00:29:41] where where is the mecca alliance sir in all of this this [00:29:45] mutual defensive pack between Pakistan Saudi Arabia [00:29:48] Turkia just in the last 24 hours Anchorer said we're not going to send our [00:29:52] military troops to a military confrontation in the region at what point [00:29:56] where are we now where does the Mecca Alliance stand today [00:29:59] Faisal I think I think the Mecca Alliance is [00:30:03] very good uh step in the right direction, it just it was [00:30:07] signed less than a month ago, I think it's very important that the world is shifting [00:30:11] from unilateral world order to multilateral world [00:30:15] order, so having these alliances within the [00:30:18] Muslim world and having alliances and strategic [00:30:22] energy partnership with Russia, strategic economic partnership with [00:30:26] China, strategic security and economic partnership with [00:30:30] the EU and the United States is very important. to not to [00:30:33] rely [00:30:34] on one order against another, so Saudi [00:30:38] Arabia played a big role even in mediation between Russia and the [00:30:42] Ukraine and freeing prisoner of war both between both [00:30:46] country, because the relationship is very [00:30:50] very very good with Russia, so I i think the [00:30:53] Mecca Alliance is taking shape [00:30:57] and Pakistan sent equipment and
