[00:00:09] There are many These are many matters that we must go through, and then we can provide [00:00:13] a comprehensive picture of what happened. Well, we will expand on [00:00:16] these points that you mentioned, but today, can this [00:00:20] incident, Colonel, be linked to [00:00:25] always confuse carried out this any developments that the you mentioned a little while ago that Syrian arena has witnessed during the recent period, or is it too early? [00:00:29] Of course, it is too early. But we, if we talk from [00:00:32] an analytical context, the timing [00:00:36] and they are therefore trying, in and place, my dear sir, always make this possibility [00:00:39] open in analysis, but there is [00:00:42] to whoever committed this nothing so far that allows us to always turn the possibility of what happened [00:00:45] into accusing a party or accusing a specific person. [00:00:49] We always talk about a security [00:00:52] and also actually investigation, not a political conclusion. We always talk about, [00:00:54] currently, we talk about the results of a security investigation or what [00:00:58] the security investigations will reveal. [00:01:01] do you read the significance of this Therefore, we must wait for evidence to know if there is indeed a real link [00:01:05] to certain events related to what [00:01:08] Syria has achieved or to some [00:01:11] internal problems in some geographical [00:01:16] agencies will take into account areas in Syria, even if we always say we do not want to always go towards [00:01:20] Sweida, but there are several [00:01:22] matters whether there is a real link to these [00:01:26] events or whether a party wants to specifically [00:01:30] the security institutions, a different lead public opinion Perhaps this will, to believe that this [00:01:34] I mean, any state, link exists. [00:01:35] from providing this free This is because the perpetrator always, when cunning, [00:01:38] uses those areas or some areas to indicate that this [00:01:42] event is linked to another [00:01:44] area. There is something, there is a loophole, [00:01:48] there is, there is. But we, in general, do not want to, [00:01:53] security blows in recent I mean, we do not want to go, I mean, frankly, in my personal opinion, [00:01:57] the danger of the Jaramana bombing is not only that, frankly, [00:02:01] hopefully there are no casualties, as you mentioned, based on [00:02:04] the information. I am on the road, [00:02:07] always look for our sources from [00:02:08] groups are ultimately between two cities in Syria, [00:02:09] today that, I mean, this and I receive news sequentially from some agencies [00:02:12] and from some parties, [00:02:16] for what they committed. I believe the Syrian hopefully there are no casualties, but in my opinion, its danger in Jaramana [00:02:18] is not only whether it is in the number of injured or casualties, but rather in the message [00:02:22] that the perpetrator is trying to deliver. [00:02:24] of societal awareness in this [00:02:25] and protecting civilians. There is no doubt that this So, the required thing now is not to be drawn into accusations. What are the [00:02:27] hopeful messages that the bombing [00:02:32] who are convinced that these groups ultimately might carry? These messages are, if they are, I [00:02:35] always, why did I speak to you from the beginning? I told you, [00:02:38] I mean, the entanglement or [00:02:41] the attempt to, I mean, go [00:02:45] with accusations and leave, or what these messages mean, and leave [00:02:48] the investigation. In my opinion, leaving the investigation to take its course, [00:02:52] that has a diverse reaching who placed the device, to the party that planned and funded [00:02:56] and facilitated, I mean, proving the existence of a network behind this [00:03:00] operation, or is it a random [00:03:04] carries a greater dimension, it places a greater burden on [00:03:04] those who disagree with operation? I mean, we do not want to say it is a random operation, but is it a random operation or is there a network that actually [00:03:08] targeted this in carrying out and executing this operation? [00:03:11] The most important thing is currently to prevent turning the security crime into [00:03:15] a societal sedition. This is what we must focus [00:03:18] on always. How important is it today [00:03:22] that these challenges, I mean, based on [00:03:27] the nature of this what you pointed out, all the data you talked about today, [00:03:30] how much can these operations pose [00:03:32] always try to confuse a challenge to the security agencies and also the way they deal [00:03:36] duty emanating from with them? Exactly, my dear brother, [00:03:40] the power to whenever for them. I mean, you cannot any malfunction or, let's say, any security [00:03:43] loophole exists, it always puts [00:03:47] security agencies under [00:03:48] target is a very a certain pressure, let's say, under [00:03:52] a test in the work of security agencies. [00:03:54] of protecting him, that the state is capable of We, we always say and repeat, [00:03:57] we are in Syria, we are a state, and we are facing [00:04:02] out of such actions. Therefore, I believe the Syrian it can, in nascent security agencies. We do not possess those high [00:04:04] technological capabilities that exist in certain countries, even if [00:04:08] you and I and all viewers always see that [00:04:13] and get rid of them. It is not possible to accept, in some security incidents occur in developed countries, in developed [00:04:16] countries, I mean, they possess high technologies, they possess [00:04:19] artificial satellites, they possess tracking devices, they possess [00:04:23] a lot, but we are facing our security agencies, nascent agencies, but [00:04:27] we possess some expertise, we possess a determination [00:04:30] that always seeks the finest details, even if they are [00:04:33] simple, but we always used them [00:04:36] to reach, and this is what happened in the Damascus [00:04:40] bombings since a month or two [00:04:43] ago, when they occurred in front of, next to the Palace of Justice, or [00:04:47] which coincided with the visit of the French President. [00:04:50] Some simple evidence was used, [00:04:54] some communication devices were used, [00:04:57] and cells were reached, and warehouses were reached. [00:05:00] We have great confidence in our security agencies, we have great confidence [00:05:04] in the Ministry of Interior, in the General Security Service, [00:05:07] in the specialized [00:05:10] security agencies. We always have confidence that they will [00:05:14] do what they do. We possess some expertise that always [00:05:18] leads us to find clues, and these clues lead [00:05:21] us to what comes after that, whether it was [00:05:25] a group or a cell or a random operation. There are now [00:05:28] leaks coming out to us that there is a certain group [00:05:32] claiming to be such and such a group that [00:05:35] targeting to [00:05:38] the security agencies and divert [00:05:41] the accusation from certain parties, but the results of the investigations, [00:05:44] the evidence that will be collected, is what always [00:05:47] leads us and takes us to, to [00:05:51] some clues that will, God willing, lead us [00:05:54] heinous act. And I am confident, God willing, that we will not [00:05:58] need a long time. [00:06:15] location of the explosion, and the nature of the execution [00:06:27] particular area aims to send several messages [00:06:30] to different parties. It wants to say [00:06:33] that the civil peace in the Syrian state is still not [00:06:37] stable, and that all measures taken by the Syrian state are [00:06:40] inadequate. Therefore, this country, even now, [00:06:44] falls within the countries that, [00:06:47] I mean, are witnessing unrest, and this prevents the countries of the world from establishing [00:06:51] partnerships with it and from establishing [00:06:53] financial support, [00:06:56] providing financial and economic support within [00:07:00] the framework of what the Syrian state seeks for recovery [00:07:03] and reconstruction. I believe that today this place has a special [00:07:07] symbolism because the Jaramana community is characterized by its Syrian diversity [00:07:10] from different sects, from [00:07:13] different doctrines. Whoever committed this act wants to strike this [00:07:17] formula of coexistence among Syrians. And I believe [00:07:21] cowardly and treacherous act, in which we wish recovery to the injured, [00:07:25] and thank God there were actually no casualties, no [00:07:29] deaths, so I believe that this alerts the Syrian state today [00:07:32] to the necessity of more precautions [00:07:37] act is a primitive act. It cannot be said that this act [00:07:41] today, through this bombing, is a massive [00:07:44] security operation because it is a simple act in the end. I mean, there was [00:07:48] a bombing with a bomb placed, according to preliminary [00:07:51] investigations, it was through a simple [00:07:55] targeting, and in a transport bus. I mean, this is a completely cowardly [00:07:59] act. It did not target any security or military facility or one related to the Syrian [00:08:03] state. It targeted civilians. From here, I believe that [00:08:06] the parties that wanted this bombing are, in fact, [00:08:10] quite clear that they want [00:08:14] a little while ago, Colonel, yes, he spoke about this point. He also referred to [00:08:18] that, I mean, choosing a civilian bus probably [00:08:20] goes beyond simply causing [00:08:24] losses. In general, he also indicated that we are awaiting the results of the investigations [00:08:27] in general. But regarding the use of this [00:08:31] explosive device in, I mean, [00:08:35] a passenger bus today, how can [00:08:39] bombing be understood, naturally? [00:08:43] I believe these groups that carried out this bombing are [00:08:46] clearly either primitive groups or [00:08:49] groups that no longer have [00:08:52] really destabilize the security and stability of Syria [00:08:56] through specific and large operations. I believe this [00:09:01] simple target, and this can, [00:09:04] incidentally, happen in many countries around the world that have [00:09:08] large protection systems, that have, I mean, [00:09:11] a strong grip on their security agencies, and even a greater societal awareness than [00:09:15] what, perhaps, exists in our Syrian society now during this [00:09:18] difficult stage it is going through. I believe that these [00:09:21] groups are clearly groups that want to say [00:09:25] that they exist, and nothing more. They are not clearly strong [00:09:29] and professional groups, or they still have [00:09:32] what can harm Syria or that they can carry out [00:09:35] specific operations, as I said. In the past, [00:09:38] when there were many types of such operations, bombing operations, during [00:09:42] the Syrian revolution, and they were carried out, for example, by [00:09:45] organizations that were highly professional and had, [00:09:48] I mean, a different ideological upbringing, [00:09:52] we found that there were car bombs that stormed security [00:09:56] buildings. We found cars, we found [00:09:59] those who blew themselves up in sovereign places of [00:10:02] the Syrian state, sovereign, I put it in brackets here. [00:10:06] Therefore, this act is a treacherous and cowardly act by groups [00:10:10] that either no longer have anything to say, or they are primitive [00:10:13] groups. Exactly. Well, [00:10:17] today, what does this operation naturally reflect [00:10:20] about the nature of the security threats facing [00:10:24] the state? Abdul Rahim, [00:10:27] there is no doubt that there are many risks that still, to this day, [00:10:31] threaten the security and stability of Syria, and there are still [00:10:34] many outlaw groups, pre-state [00:10:37] militias that are still trying to undermine the security [00:10:40] and stability of Syria and do not want Syria to recover and rise again. [00:10:44] They do not want Syria to have [00:10:47] this regional and international presence again, [00:10:50] and they have their own agendas, and they are not satisfied, perhaps, even with what happened [00:10:54] since December 2024, the day of the fall of [00:10:58] the defunct Assad regime, until today, [00:11:01] the end, to send these messages to the region and the world. [00:11:05] I believe today that these groups that carry out these [00:11:08] actions want to send different [00:11:11] messages in various directions. Perhaps [00:11:14] if the investigations showed exactly who this group is [00:11:18] and some were arrested or, I mean, it is possible that there are suspects [00:11:22] and that was proven and it became clear that the threads [00:11:26] of these groups, and perhaps they are [00:11:29] dormant groups, latent groups, I [00:11:32] think perhaps then a greater judgment can be made, but [00:11:36] initially, let me say, Mr. Jamal, that the fingers [00:11:39] of accusation clearly point to where, I mean, in this [00:11:43] particular region, perhaps, and as we saw in previous [00:11:47] bombings, perhaps the hands of ISIS are, in fact, [00:11:50] largely present in this bombing because this region, [00:11:54] due to its sectarian character, is related to how [00:11:57] ISIS thinks and how it evaluates [00:11:59] these religious minorities. This is from [00:12:03] one aspect. From another aspect, as we know, it opposes the Syrian [00:12:07] state with hostility from the first day, and it is trying, [00:12:10] in fact, to strike the security [00:12:13] and stability of Syria, and perhaps it received many [00:12:18] periods, which hurt it. That is why, perhaps, [00:12:22] it no longer has much that it can do at [00:12:25] the level of, I mean, [00:12:29] Syria's stability and security. I believe today these [00:12:33] in their last days, [00:12:37] trying to destabilize the security and stability of Syria. In any case, [00:12:41] what happened is undoubtedly painful, and it warns the Syrian state [00:12:45] today that the Syrian state, the Syrian people, [00:12:49] Syria is still, in fact, targeted in its security and stability, [00:12:52] and this imposes on the Syrian state [00:12:56] more caution and care and dealing with these [00:12:59] groups completely from [00:13:03] their roots, and I do not believe that, yes, [00:13:06] the work, as I said, is an unprofessional and large work, but [00:13:10] this highlights that the Syrian state still has much [00:13:13] to do for Syria's stability and security and to protect [00:13:17] citizens, and this is the responsibility of the Syrian state, no doubt. Today, [00:13:21] today, this bombing, I believe that all of Syria, [00:13:25] I mean, whether perhaps even [00:13:29] the new Syrian administration, perhaps those who do not [00:13:32] have a positive stance on Syria, but I believe that targeting [00:13:36] civilians unites Syrians once again [00:13:39] and places them all before their responsibilities. I believe [00:13:42] there is also, in addition to all security measures, there are [00:13:46] societal obligations that everyone must [00:13:49] carry out. It is not permissible to only leave security [00:13:53] matters to the Syrian state. There must be [00:13:56] societal full awareness of these [00:14:00] groups and how to deal with them. And I [00:14:03] believe today that this attempt will probably not be [00:14:07] the last, but it may be the beginning of a new approach to [00:14:10] these groups, in fact, so that this does not happen [00:14:14] again and the lives of Syrian people are not [00:14:17] truly so cheap and so easily targeted by [00:14:21] whoever wants. It is a big challenge, and I believe that it can, [00:14:26] the coming days, in the coming period, we may witness a different [00:14:30] approach to these [00:14:40] regarding what he said about the hands of ISIS perhaps being [00:14:44] present. Of course, we are awaiting the final [00:14:47] investigations in general. He also pointed out that [00:14:50] this operation will probably not be the last [00:14:54] operation. But, of course, it is the beginning of a new [00:14:57] approach, in general, to such incidents. Today, what [00:15:01] is your opinion on what Mr. Abdul [00:15:11] like to talk in these stages or at these [00:15:15] moments always by saying that I always do not like to point [00:15:19] fingers of accusation because these points [00:15:22] were always raised that immediately any [00:15:25] security breach, we point fingers of accusation, for example, towards [00:15:29] ISIS or others. No, we do not want to go [00:15:33] in this regard because there are many [00:15:37] parties, I mean, frankly, my dear sir, [00:15:40] Syria's enemies are many. Syria deals [00:15:43] with a number of security files, whether they are [00:15:47] ISIS, whether they are regime cells, whether [00:15:50] they are cells of enemies of the nation inside the country who [00:15:53] deal with foreign countries. There are many [00:15:57] files they try to raise, they try [00:16:01] to tamper with the Syrian fabric. Notice, my dear sir, [00:16:05] that always on your esteemed screen and on all other [00:16:08] screens, there is always [00:16:12] an event in Syria. Always when the internal [00:16:16] situation in Syria calms down and we always optimistically move forward, [00:16:19] an occupying state always comes out to us with movements in [00:16:23] southern Syria. These movements [00:16:25] stop. Groups from within come out to us [00:16:29] with statements against the building [00:16:32] of the Syrian state. They calm down a little, [00:16:35] a security operation comes out to us. I mean, these [00:16:39] matters I always talk about in Syria. We [00:16:43] deal with many files, especially regarding the security aspect. [00:16:47] Therefore, I mean, always talking [00:16:51] and pointing the finger of accusation towards a specific party, I mean, I consider it [00:16:55] somewhat, at the beginning of this, I mean, it does not serve the general [00:16:58] interest. I mean, I spoke to you a little [00:17:02] while ago, I mean, when we direct the finger [00:17:05] of accusation towards a specific party, [00:17:07] we provide a service to the perpetrator, and I always stay away [00:17:13] service in our analyses when we appear on media stations. I always [00:17:17] wait for, I mean, the results of the preliminary investigations, [00:17:20] what comes out from the security agencies, what evidence is collected, because [00:17:23] even if the security agencies collect some evidence, they will not declare it immediately. They will try [00:17:27] to use it to reach clues, and these [00:17:30] clues may lead to the perpetrator or [00:17:34] to approximations with the perpetrator. [00:17:43] individual operations and operations carried [00:17:46] out by organized cells, let's say, in terms of [00:17:50] field indicators, and you are a security expert? [00:17:54] Exactly, my dear sir. We always, in this regard [00:17:57] in particular, we tend to distance ourselves somewhat from [00:18:00] what has been raised. How today, if a party [00:18:03] wanted, and let's assume hypothetically, a state wants [00:18:07] to tamper with the Syrian security file, it may always [00:18:11] use some [00:18:15] phrases or some messages or some [00:18:18] primitive bombs that confuse the security [00:18:22] agencies and do not lead to the perpetrator. [00:18:24] I mean, always wasting the time [00:18:28] of the security agencies. For example, I want to raise, but not as an accusation, [00:18:32] but if there was a rogue state, an occupying [00:18:35] state that wants to tamper with the Syrian file, it may [00:18:38] assign a small group or individuals to carry out a simple [00:18:42] operation in terms of capabilities [00:18:45] to confuse the security agencies about who committed this act. [00:18:49] Therefore, we cannot say they are individuals [00:18:53] or groups without reaching [00:18:56] the clues that will lead us because these [00:19:00] cells [00:19:01] and these [00:19:04] agencies linked to foreign countries that always tamper [00:19:09] the security agencies because confusing the security agencies is a measure of success [00:19:15] judge who committed this [00:19:18] act, for example, by the type of the device. I mean, there may be [00:19:21] a developed country that has technologies, but it makes its cells [00:19:24] use a traditional device, a simple [00:19:28] device, to confuse the work of [00:19:31] the security agencies, and the security agencies limit their thinking to a specific [00:19:34] direction, while the perpetrator is in another direction. [00:19:39] Therefore, we do not always in the work of security agencies adhere to what has been done. [00:19:42] Yes, the nature of the device may help you, [00:19:46] the place and placement of the device. Was this [00:19:50] device rigged? Was it a device that was placed [00:19:54] in a bag and put in the car? [00:19:56] These are all clues that may lead, I mean, may [00:20:00] lead the security agencies to the nature of the [00:20:04] perpetrator, monitoring some places, monitoring cameras in [00:20:08] certain places. My dear sir, to summarize, [00:20:11] I mean, the priority now, the priority is for the crime [00:20:15] scene. The remains of the device may determine its type, its components, [00:20:18] the method of detonation, how it happened. I mean, [00:20:21] rebuilding, I mean, then the security agencies will definitely [00:20:25] rebuild. I mean, we [00:20:27] call it the development of the movement of the bus. Where did it start [00:20:31] before the explosion? Where was it? Who got on it? [00:20:34] Where did it stop? When could this [00:20:38] device have been planted in it? I mean, in addition to reviewing surveillance cameras, [00:20:41] analyzing communications, intelligence information surrounding the incident. [00:20:45] Some civilians may inform you about it, about [00:20:48] what raised suspicion, for example, people getting on the bus. Was [00:20:52] the bus standing in a certain place that attracted attention? [00:20:55] I mean, the goal is not only to reach the person who placed this device, [00:20:59] but rather to reach the entire chain that [00:21:02] stands behind this operation, because it may lead [00:21:06] you, of course, to a network or to [00:21:15] this bombing is probably the beginning of a new [00:21:18] approach to such [00:21:20] incidents. But in your opinion, do such incidents lead to a review [00:21:23] of security plans in general, even to [00:21:26] their development, naturally? [00:21:30] Absolutely, and this means that the Syrian [00:21:33] state, the security institutions today, are [00:21:36] reviewing their plans, reviewing where they succeeded and where they failed, [00:21:42] resorting to a number of issues that have not yet [00:21:46] helped them in using them, for example, the necessity of cameras in [00:21:50] all public streets, the necessity of remote thermal [00:21:54] sensors, perhaps also an increase in [00:21:57] the density of security forces, perhaps the necessity of permanent [00:22:01] monitoring points. All of this, I believe the security [00:22:06] after this incident so that this incident does not happen again. Perhaps [00:22:10] some areas that are being targeted today have a certain type [00:22:13] of sensitivity. [00:22:17] I mean, impose on the Syrian state, on [00:22:20] approach than before. There is no doubt, [00:22:24] any institution, in the end, when it faces a problem of this type, [00:22:28] it must certainly review all that it has achieved [00:22:31] and what it was obliged [00:22:34] to do. I believe this is a natural matter, Mr. Jamal. Today, [00:22:38] the Syrian state, the Ministry of Interior, the Syrian [00:22:41] intelligence services must, in fact, increase [00:22:44] their engagement if it is proven that a certain party is the one that carried out [00:22:47] this act, and this will be proven in a few days. They [00:22:51] must have all their security capabilities [00:22:54] and resources dedicated [00:22:57] to trying to restrict these groups [00:23:00] and eliminate them and hold them accountable [00:23:06] state has much to do in addition to [00:23:09] that. I believe that the matter is also linked to the necessity [00:23:14] regard and the necessity of assisting the Syrian state even by regional [00:23:18] countries, because I am among those [00:23:22] have a regional supporter, whatever its [00:23:24] name, whether it is ISIS or, as the Colonel wants, [00:23:28] not to specify the party. But these groups are not just [00:23:32] local groups. These groups that tamper with Syria's security [00:23:35] have, in the end, regional extensions of some [00:23:38] kind. So I believe that this also places responsibilities on the Syrian [00:23:42] state regarding how these groups can be contained, how they can be [00:23:45] eliminated, how cooperation can be achieved with regional and international countries to [00:23:50] get rid of all these militias, these pre-state groups. I [00:23:54] believe that the challenge today is not only for the Syrian state and Syrian [00:23:57] society; it is a regional challenge today. Destabilizing stability once again in [00:24:01] Syria will affect everyone, and we witnessed in [00:24:05] the great revolution years how the instability [00:24:08] of the internal situation in Syria affected most countries in the region. [00:24:12] I believe today, when Syria moves towards partnerships [00:24:16] and agreements at various levels, especially at [00:24:20] the security, defense, and intelligence levels with, for example, [00:24:23] a neighboring country like Turkey, and today this operation takes place, this [00:24:26] requires, in fact, more relations [00:24:29] and partnerships with these countries [00:24:32] to eliminate these groups. These groups pose a great challenge [00:24:36] to the new Syrian state and a great challenge to [00:24:39] the reconstruction of Syria. Today, many countries, [00:24:42] many companies, many international economic institutions will be [00:24:46] hesitant, in fact, about the existence of such actions, the carrying [00:24:52] state must, in fact, increase its security vigilance, increase [00:24:56] its security awareness, and increase its interaction towards these [00:24:59] groups to eliminate them [00:25:03] the end, what these groups are doing by threatening the security [00:25:06] and stability of the Syrian [00:25:15] do you expect the introduction of new security [00:25:19] measures, perhaps, that the security agencies will deal [00:25:22] with, perhaps after this [00:25:24] incident? [00:25:28] I mean, the development of the work of security agencies is not linked to this incident itself, because [00:25:31] security agencies are constantly developing themselves. We are [00:25:35] constantly undertaking security [00:25:38] missions. We recently [00:25:41] issued instructions that you all saw, [00:25:44] regarding what the Ministry of Interior and Minister Anas [00:25:48] Khattab presented regarding raising readiness [00:25:50] to the highest degree for security work. [00:25:53] Security agencies are continuous in their work, continuous in [00:25:56] their development. We always have [00:26:00] training missions for [00:26:03] advanced devices regarding sensing, regarding [00:26:07] monitoring vehicles, etc. [00:26:11] matters we are not discussing now. [00:26:14] However, the work of security agencies is developing day by day. [00:26:17] I mean, in general, naturally, Colonel, some say that [00:26:21] such incidents, despite their seriousness, may help [00:26:25] raise efficiency, the efficiency of coordination between various security agencies, perhaps [00:26:29] by introducing new security measures, I mean, developing [00:26:32] the security system, naturally. That's right, but what I wanted to talk about, [00:26:36] dear sir, is that the security agencies [00:26:39] or the Ministry of Interior do not wait for [00:26:42] bombings to occur in order to develop themselves. This is what I wanted to talk about, that [00:26:46] the security agencies are developing themselves. Yes, [00:26:48] uh, the presence of a security breach, yes, [00:26:52] means raising [00:26:55] the alarm more [00:26:58] and more. Perseverance is continuous, [00:27:01] but perseverance is present, and the security agencies are constantly [00:27:05] and daily, meaning what happened in the bombings in recent [00:27:09] months, these are also bombings [00:27:11] that were malicious. They affected what [00:27:15] they affected. They were always trying to tamper with the Syrian [00:27:19] fabric. I mean, I said at the beginning, and I repeat, that [00:27:22] I want to repeat it again. Always, when the operation [00:27:25] targets civil society, it is a message. We [00:27:28] call it in common parlance a societal message, meaning it is [00:27:32] to create a state of panic and fear among citizens, so that citizens [00:27:36] lose trust in their state that it will protect them, and so on. [00:27:39] Therefore, the security agencies deal with this [00:27:42] issue by sending delegations, sending missions, [00:27:46] using modern equipment, using police dogs, using [00:27:50] now some matters related [00:27:53] to security technology regarding [00:27:56] the work of these terrorist [00:27:59] cells. But I mean, I want [00:28:03] to present a message to the Syrian society, always, [00:28:06] meaning that we should [00:28:10] reliable channels for the Syrian people, and not [00:28:14] be drawn into rumors and [00:28:17] analyses that lead to some information that may create [00:28:21] a state of discord, panic, or fear among citizens, because [00:28:24] these cells are always, to be honest, [00:28:28] we always say that they are not only [00:28:31] tampering to carry out a bombing operation, but there are also [00:28:34] cells on social media affiliated with them that [00:28:38] exaggerate the news, that spread [00:28:41] societal rumors, [00:28:44] to cause societal disruption, to create a state of panic, a state of discord, especially now, [00:28:48] especially now, I mean, what happened recently is [00:28:51] targeting a region [00:28:55] fabric of Syrian society, [00:28:58] some, I mean, the presence of components, whether [00:29:01] sectarian or otherwise, this [00:29:06] the security agencies in dealing with this issue quickly, in reaching [00:29:10] the evidence, in presenting the investigations that have been carried out. All these matters [00:29:14] are always, I mean, they are under the care [00:29:17] of the Syrian citizen in terms of understanding, in terms of how [00:29:21] to receive the news, staying away from rumors and what [00:29:24] they promote of societal discord that may [00:29:28] lead to discord and serve those who carried out this [00:29:31] operation and complete [00:29:33] what they started. Therefore, it is always, I mean, it is a societal [00:29:38] the Syrian citizen himself. And the biggest burden, [00:29:41] frankly, is placed on the security agencies, which [00:29:44] are always, always subjected to successive [00:29:47] tests in reaching the evidence and presenting it to the citizen [00:29:51] so that the citizen feels that the state [00:29:54] is capable [00:29:57] reaching the perpetrators, because these operations, frankly, I [00:30:01] said and I repeat now, these are operations, we [00:30:04] mean, from the security side, we always say that these operations are complex [00:30:08] because they do not carry a dimension that leads you, for example, [00:30:11] to, I mean, an advanced device was not used, [00:30:15] or a drone, or so on, that leads you to who the perpetrator is. [00:30:19] These devices may always be used [00:30:22] by cells that are affiliated [00:30:25] with, for example, I do not want to go into details, but [00:30:29] cells of a former regime, cells affiliated with [00:30:32] Bashar al-Assad, cells of ISIS, all of them can [00:30:36] use even advanced countries [00:30:39] that harbor [00:30:41] animosity towards the Syrian people and the Syrian economy try [00:30:45] to tamper by using primitive tools so that the fingers [00:30:48] of accusation remain, and the security agencies cannot [00:30:52] reach the perpetrator or are delayed
