[00:14:58] He joined the terrorist organization in 1998. [00:15:02] He used the code name Selim. He received training and attended meetings within the [00:15:06] organization. He met face-to-face [00:15:09] with the leader of the organization in America. He had a catalogue [00:15:13] marriage. He participated in the armed and bombed [00:15:16] attack on the hotel where the President was staying. [00:15:19] After 10 years on the run, FETÖ terrorist Burkay [00:15:23] Karatepe, who was caught [00:15:27] in Afyonkarahisar, was arrested in Muğla. He wanted to [00:15:31] benefit from effective remorse. In his 69-page [00:15:34] statement, he made important confessions regarding the [00:15:37] organization's structure and the coup attempt. [00:15:41] Terrorist Burkay Karatepe confessed that he maintained [00:15:44] his connection with the organization through individuals responsible [00:15:47] for him during his education and profession. He said [00:15:51] he got married through the organization's catalogue [00:15:54] system. "In 2013, I met a person named Hami, [00:15:58] known as the 'marriage brother', with the intention of getting [00:16:01] married. I told him I wanted to marry a woman from the [00:16:05] 'Hizmet' movement. My ex-wife, whom I married this way, [00:16:08] had been a 'sister' to university students within the organization." [00:16:12] Terrorist Karatepe also recounted his meeting with [00:16:14] the FETÖ leader in America in 2012. He said that he [00:16:18] disguised himself so as not to be recognized when going [00:16:21] to the meeting. "Before entering the land where [00:16:25] the mansion was located, a person told me to change my [00:16:28] clothes, wear a hat and glasses, and that they [00:16:31] took this precaution to prevent satellite tracking. [00:16:35] I changed my clothes, wore the clothes they gave me, [00:16:39] and entered the land where the house was located [00:16:42] with this person, wearing a hat and glasses." [00:16:45] He met face-to-face with the FETÖ leader in the organization's [00:16:48] house in Pennsylvania, which he entered with great secrecy. [00:16:52] "Fethullah Gülen was not in the room. He entered [00:16:55] the room from another door a while after I [00:16:58] entered. He didn't ask my name here, he asked [00:17:02] where I worked. I said I worked at the Special [00:17:06] Forces Command. I met Fethullah Gülen for about [00:17:09] 10-15 minutes without anyone else in the room." "When [00:17:28] I took the exam, I saw that the questions were [00:17:32] exactly the same as the questions given to us. [00:17:35] I believe that the organization that gave us the questions [00:17:39] also gave the questions to other people like us [00:17:42] and made them win the staff officer exam, and [00:17:46] due to the expulsion of 90% of those who were [00:17:50] trainees with me during the same period after the [00:17:53] July 15 coup attempt, I think 90% of those [00:17:56] who came to the course were FETÖ members." [00:17:59] The FETÖ terrorist also narrated how they prepared [00:18:02] for the July 15 coup attempt. "We went to the [00:18:06] brother's house in Bahçelievler. [00:19:07] There, the responsible brother told us that an important [00:19:10] activity would take place soon. He said that Şükrü [00:19:13] Seymen would be the commander, that we should obey his [00:19:17] orders and instructions, that we should not tell [00:19:21] anyone about this, including [00:19:22] our wives, and that we [00:19:29] should not take our phones with us. I learned [00:19:33] here that Şükrü Seymen was from FETÖ." Terrorist [00:19:36] Karatepe said that he was involved in the assassination [00:19:39] attempt in Istanbul. He explained how they went [00:19:43] to Izmir by helicopter, and from there to Marmaris [00:19:46] with weapons and ammunition. "We landed at Çiğli Military [00:19:50] Air Base. We landed. As soon as we landed, [00:19:54] we understood that the coup had failed." The FETÖ terrorist gave conflicting [00:19:58] statements regarding the [00:20:03] large amount of gold and money found when he was [00:20:05] caught. It is being investigated how terrorist Karatepe [00:20:09] hid for 10 years and with whom he was in contact. [00:20:12] We will continue with the details of the Ahbap [00:20:16] Association investigation. MASAK took the association's [00:20:19] bank accounts under the microscope, dear viewers. [00:20:23] A report was prepared, [00:20:25] and this report emphasized that money transfers amounted [00:20:28] to millions of liras. It was underlined that those [00:20:32] who helped with good intentions were in the position of [00:20:35] victims of the crime. In the investigation, it [00:20:50] is also being investigated to which individuals and [00:20:53] companies the donations of famous names were transferred, [00:20:57] and whether they were used for purposes other than [00:21:00] their intended purpose. Here are the details: [00:21:04] The bank accounts of the Ahbap Association are [00:21:07] under the microscope. A report was prepared regarding [00:21:11] high-value donations made in 2023 and after. [00:21:14] According to the examination, many singers, actors, [00:21:17] presenters, and content creators made high-value [00:21:20] payments to the association. 38 names were on the list. [00:21:23] According to the records, Ajda Pekkan, Barış Arduç, [00:21:26] Ebru Şahin, Tarkan Tevetoğlu, Sibel Can, and Nevzat [00:21:29] Aydın sent 1 million liras each to the Ahbap Association. Halit Ergenç was recorded to have made a [00:21:42] total donation of 400,000 liras with two separate [00:21:45] transactions. It was stated that Hasan Cankaya's payment [00:21:48] was 320,000 liras. In the transfer explanations, [00:21:52] words such as "donation", "earthquake aid", or similar [00:21:55] expressions were found. [00:21:56] In the investigation, it [00:22:00] will be investigated whether receipts were issued in the [00:22:04] name of the donors and whether the money was [00:22:07] used for the specified aid activities. If it is [00:22:11] determined that the donations were used for purposes [00:22:14] other than their intended purpose, the donors [00:22:17] will be victims of the act in question. Therefore, [00:22:20] the investigation is being carried out meticulously. [00:22:23] It is being investigated to which individuals and [00:22:26] companies the donations were transferred in later stages [00:22:30] and for what purpose they were used. Bank statements, [00:22:33] donation receipts, association [00:22:34] accounting records, and [00:22:39] expenditure documents are being examined. The connections [00:22:42] of transfers made from accounts registered in the [00:22:45] name of a company or third parties with the [00:22:49] real donors are being checked. [00:23:17] The expert stated that it was not possible for the [00:23:21] papers to reach a depth of 14 meters in the [00:23:24] water and remain in good condition. Due to these [00:23:28] paper fragments, which were assessed to have been [00:23:32] placed in the area later, three diver police officers [00:23:36] were referred to court [00:23:37] with a request for their [00:23:40] arrest on charges of tampering with evidence. It [00:27:27] hit two cars waiting at a red light in the opposite lane, a light [00:27:31] commercial vehicle, and another truck. One person died and [00:27:35] nine people were injured in the accident. They are intervening [00:27:38] on the spot. [00:27:42] In the Konyaaltı district of Antalya, a motorcyclist hit a pedestrian [00:27:45] trying to cross the road. The pedestrian was seriously injured. The motorcycle [00:27:49] driver lost [00:27:50] his life. [00:27:53] In the Selik district, a car hit a 2-year-old child who ran onto the road. The injured [00:27:57] child was taken to the hospital in the accident, which was also captured by a security [00:28:00] camera. [00:28:05] "In Eskişehir, the police went to the scene of an accident where a car had crashed into a median strip. [00:28:09] While the teams were waiting by the side of the road to intervene, another car hit the police vehicle. [00:28:13] In the second accident, one police officer, one [00:28:16] guard, and six people [00:28:17] were injured. [00:28:21] Another accident report will be on your screens in the background. [00:28:25] This horrific accident that occurred in Beşyol, Osmangazi district of Bursa, was [00:28:28] recorded by security cameras, dear viewers. So, [00:28:32] "The motorcyclist loses control of the [00:28:35] steering wheel, as you watched, he passes by the pedestrian [00:28:39] on the sidewalk to avoid hitting them [00:28:43] and at high speed hits the [00:28:45] wall by the side of the road. Unfortunately, the pedestrian narrowly escaped the accident, [00:28:49] but the motorcyclist was seriously injured [00:28:52] due to the impact of this collision, as you saw once again. Under the control of the medical [00:28:56] teams, it was determined that the motorcyclist died at the scene of the [00:29:00] incident, on the sidewalk." It is seen that [00:29:03] the pedestrian pulled back at the last moment and was saved from being run [00:29:06] over by the motorcycle. This tragic accident was recorded [00:29:09] by a security camera. Let's continue. This [00:29:13] time we will turn our cameras to Istanbul. The moment a four-story [00:29:16] building collapsed was captured by a security camera. It was revealed that [00:29:19] a citizen narrowly escaped death by seconds. [00:29:23] In this incident, controlled demolition work was [00:29:26] initiated on the risky building next to the collapsed [00:29:29] building. [00:29:35] The building suddenly collapsed, and a cloud of dust covered the surroundings. Those [00:29:38] moments were captured by a security camera. A citizen escaped death by [00:29:42] seconds. [00:29:46] I was sitting in the office, and there was such a loud noise. I thought, [00:29:50] it's an earthquake, but it was the first time I heard such a sound from below in an earthquake. I went [00:29:54] outside, and it was dusty and smoky inside. The [00:29:57] evacuated building had collapsed. He's going to the park [00:30:00] here. It could also collapse on the child. He had a narrow [00:30:03] escape. I was at the [00:30:07] entrance of the park. Then, suddenly, sister, I heard a loud [00:30:10] noise. Then I looked, sister, [00:30:13] behind me, the building had collapsed. At that moment, sister, I was very [00:30:16] scared, I thought it was an earthquake. A four-story building [00:30:19] in Bahçelievler, Istanbul, had been evacuated due to sounds coming from the [00:30:22] columns. The building, which contained 22 apartments and 3 workplaces, [00:30:26] collapsed shortly after [00:30:27] the evacuation. [00:30:31] The building next to the collapsed building was also damaged. Municipal [00:30:34] teams initiated controlled demolition work on the damaged building. [00:30:37] Extensive security measures were taken in the area. [00:30:41] Police, fire, AFAD, UMKE, health, and municipal police teams were [00:30:45] present. [00:30:48] Due to the demolition work, some streets in the area were closed to pedestrian [00:30:52] and vehicle traffic. During the demolition, some surrounding [00:30:55] buildings were also evacuated as a precaution. [00:30:57] Let's continue with a report from [00:31:02] unidentified individuals who used a luxury car to steal [00:31:06] money and jewelry worth approximately 1 million Turkish Lira from [00:31:09] a commercial vehicle. The robbery was recorded by a security camera. [00:31:13] The police, who conducted an investigation at the scene, [00:31:17] launched an operation to apprehend the suspects. [00:31:19] They waited next to the commercial vehicle [00:31:24] with the luxury car for a while. After checking the surroundings, [00:31:28] they moved. They carried out a robbery worth approximately [00:31:32] 1 million liras. [00:31:35] The address of the footage is Konya. Allegedly, a person coming out of a currency exchange [00:31:39] parked his car on the street to buy paint. Unidentified [00:31:42] persons arriving in a white car first [00:31:46] reconnoitered the area, then stopped next to the commercial vehicle. [00:31:49] The suspect sitting in the back seat broke the commercial vehicle's window and [00:31:53] took the bag containing money and jewelry, while the owner of the vehicle noticed [00:31:57] the situation but could not catch up. The luxury car quickly [00:32:01] sped away from the area. Those moments were reflected in the security [00:32:03] camera of a nearby workplace. [00:32:06] Upon notification, the police arrived at the scene and took fingerprints [00:32:10] after conducting an investigation. The teams, who also examined the camera recordings, [00:32:13] pursued the suspects. [00:32:20] Gold prices have been rising continuously for 4 days. Gram gold has [00:32:23] increased by more than 350 liras since the beginning of the week. So, will [00:32:27] this rise continue? [00:32:28] A child in [00:32:33] Çanakkale died, dear viewers, allegedly due to poisoning from insect spraying in [00:32:37] neighboring apartments. An investigation was launched into the incident. The owner [00:32:41] of the sprayed house and the company [00:32:44] employee were taken into [00:32:47] custody. [00:32:52] The spraying in the neighboring apartment led to a tragedy. The child [00:32:55] poisoned by the insect spray lost [00:32:58] their life. [00:33:00] In the incident that occurred in Çanakkale Barbaros neighborhood, father Uğur Çanlı, who returned home from work, [00:33:04] found his wife Sevda Çanlı and his son Yusuf Talha Çanlı unconscious. [00:33:08] He took them to Mehmet Akif Ersoy State Hospital on his own. After the first [00:33:11] intervention there, the mother and her son were transferred to [00:33:15] Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Hospital. In the first check [00:33:18] at the hospital, symptoms of poisoning were detected in the mother and [00:33:22] child. [00:33:25] As the child's condition worsened, it was decided to transfer them by air [00:33:29] ambulance to Başakşehir, Çam and Sakura City Hospital in Istanbul. The 9-year-old [00:33:32] child lost their life despite all interventions [00:33:35] there. [00:33:37] It was learned that [00:33:40] mother Sevda Çanlı's treatment in the intensive care unit in Çanakkale [00:33:43] continues. The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation [00:33:47] into the incident. The owner of the sprayed house and the spraying [00:33:50] company employee were [00:33:51] taken into custody. [00:33:56] Alleging that the baby's heart had stopped, they wanted to terminate [00:33:59] the pregnancy. The terrible truth came out [00:34:02] with a test at a state hospital. The baby was healthy [00:34:06] and alive. Following this incident in Ankara, the mother [00:34:09] filed a criminal complaint against the private hospital and two doctors with the [00:34:13] prosecutor's office. [00:34:18] "The doctor told us that the baby's heart had stopped. [00:34:22] Then they handed us the file, the admission file, and [00:34:25] said they could do it for 30,000 liras. The private hospital [00:34:28] wanted to terminate the pregnancy. At the state hospital, [00:34:31] it turned out the baby was healthy. The address of the incident [00:34:35] is Ankara. I went to the state hospital, there was only a 40-minute difference. [00:34:39] I gave my blood there and was directed to ultrasound. It turned out [00:34:42] that the baby's heart was beating. Eda Ö, [00:34:46] 7 weeks pregnant, applied to a private hospital for routine check-ups. [00:34:50] The tests showed that no embryo could be seen in the gestational [00:34:53] sac and that it might be an empty pregnancy. Allegedly, [00:34:56] in the check-up she had at a state hospital an hour later, [00:35:00] she learned that her baby was alive. They gave a report [00:35:04] with the suspicion of empty pregnancy. When the ultrasound [00:35:07] specialist took me, I was given a report that the baby's sac [00:35:11] was present and its heart was beating. We were told [00:35:15] that its development was continuing properly. The woman, who experienced the shock [00:35:19] of her life, filed a criminal complaint against two doctors and hospital officials [00:35:22] with the prosecutor's office. Hospital officials, however, [00:35:25] denied the accusation. [00:35:29] In Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, a 2-year-old child [00:35:33] choked on a bead. Airport personnel noticed the situation and [00:35:36] saved the baby with the Heimlich maneuver. In Ankara, a [00:35:39] woman could not breathe due to an object stuck in her throat. [00:35:43] She clung to life with the intervention of a hairdresser's [00:35:47] employee. Those images are now [00:35:48] coming to your screens one after another. [00:35:55] She ran out of breath and started to struggle. The 2-year-old child was saved [00:35:59] with the Heimlich maneuver. [00:36:03] Liam was waiting for a plane with his family at Istanbul Sabiha [00:36:06] Gökçen Airport. A bead from the little boy's bracelet [00:36:09] got stuck in his throat. The child struggled to breathe, his face [00:36:12] turned purple. [00:36:16] Terminal officers on patrol noticed the situation. [00:36:19] The officers immediately applied the Heimlich maneuver. After a while, [00:36:23] the bead stuck in the child's throat came out. The child started [00:36:26] to breathe easily. [00:36:29] Esma Gül Bostancı and Talha Kahyaoğlu were given [00:36:32] a certificate. [00:36:38] The Heimlich maneuver also saved lives in Ankara. An object got [00:36:42] stuck in a young woman's throat in front of a hairdresser's. The woman, unable to breathe, called for [00:36:46] help. [00:36:48] The hairdresser's employee saw that the woman was choking. [00:36:52] He ran to her aid and performed the Heimlich maneuver. The woman, [00:36:55] who started breathing easily, could not immediately get over the shock. [00:36:59] She sat in the hairdresser's chair for a while. Those moments were captured by the workplace's security camera. [00:37:14] Although summer has started cool in Istanbul, the temperatures [00:37:17] shown by thermometers have been rising for the past few days, dear viewers. [00:37:21] The air temperature has exceeded 30 degrees. It is [00:37:25] expected to increase even more. Moreover, next week, [00:38:14] despite being from Antalya, it's very hot, and I can't even [00:38:16] stand it here. [00:38:20] If it gets hotter, I probably won't be able to go outside. I'm really worried about going outside [00:38:23] when we have work to do outside right now. According to the General [00:38:27] Directorate of Meteorology and Akom's forecasts, the weather in the Megacity [00:38:31] is expected to be between 31 and [00:38:34] 34 degrees from next week [00:38:37] onwards, and the weather is expected to be clear and partly cloudy. It's very hot, we're sweating, [00:38:41] I hope it rains soon, we're roasting. It's really [00:38:45] hot right now, unbelievably unbearable, I mean we can't stand any more of it, [00:38:48] I don't know, but we have to endure it, there's nothing else to do. How's the weather? It's nice, a little [00:38:52] hot, but we're managing. I mean, if we say it will get even [00:38:56] hotter, there's nothing we can do. High humidity [00:38:59] poses a risk especially for the elderly, children, and [00:39:03] those with chronic diseases. It is recommended not to go out [00:39:06] unless absolutely necessary between 11:00 AM and [00:39:09] 4:00 PM, to drink plenty of fluids, and not to stay in the sun for [00:39:12] long periods. We are in the auto industry, the manufacturing industry [00:39:15] is a bit windy, so we don't feel much because we are in a closed [00:39:18] area at work, but people with heart problems [00:39:22] or other conditions like high blood pressure [00:39:23] need to be careful. [00:39:28] "We brought impressions from Istanbul to your screens, but in fact, Turkey, all of [00:39:31] Turkey, is under the influence of desert heat. The perceived temperature [00:39:35] has also increased with the humidity, naturally. Those suffering from the heat [00:39:38] again flocked to shady and cool places. [00:39:40] Desert heat was effective [00:39:45] in many parts of the country. Citizens suffering from the heat and [00:39:49] humidity took refuge in cool [00:39:51] areas. In Kahramanmaraş, where thermometers [00:39:55] showed over 40 degrees, parks [00:39:58] and gardens remained deserted due to the scorching [00:40:01] heat. [00:40:04] The weather is very hot, brother, the parks are very hot, children can't come, [00:40:08] can't play, can't sleep at [00:40:10] night. [00:40:14] Even though it's hot here, it's airy. Houses are [00:40:17] hotter. We take a breath [00:40:19] here. [00:40:21] Another city where desert heat showed its effect [00:40:24] is Osmaniye. [00:40:27] With the effect of 67% humidity, the perceived air temperature [00:40:30] in Osmaniye exceeded 40 degrees. During the hottest [00:40:33] hours, streets and avenues were almost [00:40:37] silent. Those who went out tried to cool down in the [00:40:40] shade. [00:40:43] If I stayed at home, I wouldn't go out. I came [00:40:47] here. It's breezy [00:40:49] and cool here. [00:40:52] It's very hot. I'm throwing myself outside. What [00:40:54] can I do? [00:40:57] In Aysa, with the humidity rate reaching 85%, the perceived [00:41:01] temperature reached 40 degrees. Those suffering from the heat [00:41:04] preferred the beaches. [00:41:07] In Adıyaman, where the air temperature was above 40 degrees, [00:41:10] an air conditioning system was installed in the sports [00:41:14] center. My friends didn't prefer it in the summer, so as a result of a good [00:41:17] R&D study with my friends, we installed what we call [00:41:20] the air conditioning [00:41:22] system here. Thanks to the system, those playing [00:41:26] football [00:41:30] tonight, I didn't feel like I was playing in the summer at all. It was as if [00:41:33] we were playing football in a pleasant cool atmosphere on an autumn [00:41:36] evening. [00:41:48] Gold prices have been rising continuously for 4 days, dear viewers. [00:41:51] Gram gold has increased by more than 350 liras since the beginning of the [00:41:55] week, exceeding 6,500 liras and reaching [00:41:58] a two-month high. Will this rise continue? This is of course [00:42:01] the question. What should investors pay attention to [00:42:04] when making buying and selling decisions? Let's look at the answers [00:42:08] together now. [00:42:13] Hopes for the opening of the Strait of Hormuz increased, oil prices [00:42:17] fell, decreasing geopolitical risk pressure and easing [00:42:21] inflation concerns supported demand for precious metals, [00:42:24] and gold rose for the fourth consecutive day. When oil [00:42:28] prices pulled back, we saw the dollar lose value [00:42:31] in the global market, and we saw interest rates pull back [00:42:34] again in global markets. This actually creates an upward [00:42:38] demand on gold's classical valuation, accelerating [00:42:41] its upward momentum. Gold ounce [00:42:44] had been stuck in a horizontal band for a long time. After the developments, [00:42:47] it rose by more than 5% this week. It tested [00:42:51] 4,300 dollars, reaching a 7-week high. [00:42:54] The agreement, the disappearance of the war environment, is a clear [00:42:57] result. The market will wait. If [00:43:00] this result comes, I think both the risk appetite [00:43:04] in global markets will increase, and the pullback in the dollar [00:43:07] and interest rates will continue. This could lead us to an ounce of gold [00:43:11] expectation of between 4,600 and 4,800 dollars [00:43:14] towards the end of the year, in stages. [00:43:17] Domestically, gram gold increased by more than 350 liras [00:43:20] this week. It exceeded 6,500 liras, reaching [00:43:24] a two-month high. As far as I understand, there's no need to worry [00:43:27] too much about pullbacks, looking at the latest prices, but [00:43:31] we can expect the rises to be gradual and a little slower [00:43:35] than in the previous period. Therefore, gram gold [00:43:38] roughly has a maximum price target of [00:43:41] between 7,000 and 7,500 for this year, it seems. [00:43:56] As a new phase is entered in the "Turkey Free of Terror" [00:43:59] process, diplomatic activity with regional countries continues. [00:44:02] Syrian Foreign Minister Sheibani came to [00:44:04] Ankara. [00:44:10] In the meetings, the integration of armed groups, especially [00:44:13] the SDF, into the legitimate government in Syria was [00:44:17] discussed. [00:44:22] Syrian Foreign Minister Assad Hassan Sheibani was in Ankara [00:44:26] after a new phase in the "Turkey Free of Terror" process began. Foreign Minister Hakan [00:44:29] Fidan met with his counterpart Sheibani. The integration [00:44:32] of armed groups into the central government in Syria [00:44:36] was on the agenda. [00:44:40] The integration of armed elements and so-called structures [00:44:43] under a central and legitimate national structure is essential [00:44:46] for the unity of Syria and the stability [00:44:49] of our region. Foreign Minister Fidan strongly [00:44:53] emphasized the importance of the matter for Turkey. [00:44:57] It is not possible for us to separate the prosperity and stability [00:45:00] of Turkey and Syria. Any destabilizing activities [00:45:03] occurring in any part of Syria also pose a threat [00:45:07] to Turkey. Syrian Foreign Minister Sheibani [00:45:11] stated that counter-terrorism is a fundamental element [00:45:14] in the cooperation between Ankara and Damascus. [00:45:18] The collection of all weapons under only legitimate [00:45:20] authority in the entire region is important. [00:45:24] The clearing of our common borders from terrorism [00:45:27] and their protection in a common way is important. [00:45:31] The successful conclusion of this process will serve our common [00:45:34] interests. [00:45:35] The head of MIT [00:45:38] met with Syrian Foreign Minister Sheibani. During the meeting, [00:45:42] the implications of the draft law on the "Turkey Free of Terror" process [00:45:45] for Syria were discussed. It was emphasized that constructive steps were [00:45:49] taken towards the integration of the SDF in Syria. The importance [00:45:53] of strengthening cooperation in the fight against terrorism was highlighted. [00:45:56] Dear viewers, the genocidal [00:46:00] Israel does not hesitate to target even United [00:46:03] Nations agencies that extend a helping hand to [00:46:06] Palestinians. The Israeli regime, [00:46:09] which banned the Palestinian refugee aid agency, [00:46:13] is working to liquidate the facilities affiliated [00:46:15] with the agency. The TRT News team visited a training [00:46:18] center affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency [00:46:22] for Palestine Refugees in the Kalandia refugee camp in the West Bank. [00:46:26] It examined the importance of the center [00:46:28] under Israeli threat. [00:46:34] The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine [00:46:37] Refugees has been providing education, health, food, [00:46:40] and shelter services to millions of refugees [00:46:44] in the Middle East for 77 years. The agency, which [00:46:47] operates in refugee camps in Gaza, the West Bank, East Jerusalem, [00:46:50] Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria, also serves as a critical [00:46:54] source of employment for tens of thousands [00:46:57] of Palestinians. However, genocidal Israel [00:47:00] passed two laws in October 2024 banning the activities [00:47:04] of the aid agency in all Palestinian [00:47:07] territories, including occupied Jerusalem. It declared [00:47:11] war on the international organization with diplomatic [00:47:14] status. Israel, which is committing [00:47:18] genocide in Gaza, is also targeting UNRWA, the United [00:47:22] Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, which [00:47:24] provides vital support to 6 million Palestinian [00:47:28] refugees through many of its organizations. The Kalandia [00:47:31] Vocational Training Center where we are now [00:47:35] is one of these United Nations organizations [00:47:38] targeted by Israel. Located in the Kalandia Refugee [00:47:41] Camp in the occupied West Bank, this vocational training [00:47:45] center prepares hundreds of disadvantaged Palestinian [00:47:48] youth for the labor market. [00:47:54] Our biggest concern is for these young people aged 15 to 19, [00:47:58] as most of their families do not have the financial means [00:48:01] to provide them with higher education. This training center gives [00:48:04] them the opportunity to acquire a profession, be productive, and [00:48:08] make qualified contributions to themselves and to the Palestinian [00:48:11] labor market. [00:48:17] The center houses dozens of industrial workshops in fields such [00:48:20] as mechanics, mechatronics, electrical installation, and [00:48:24] aluminum. [00:48:26] We are taking [00:48:29] an Industrial Electrical course here. After receiving general [00:48:33] electrical training, we specialize in the industrial field. [00:48:37] We are currently programming PLC devices. Now we are [00:48:40] working on alternately activating two motors within a certain [00:48:44] period. [00:48:49] Israel's targeting of UNRWA is an important part [00:48:52] of the plan to destroy the physical existence, [00:48:55] education system, and institutions of the Palestinian [00:48:58] people. With these deceptions, Israel is mortgaging [00:49:02] the future of these [00:49:03] young people. [00:49:07] Let's take a closer look at what is happening around the Strait of Hormuz. [00:49:10] Iran announced that an agreement had been reached [00:49:14] with Oman regarding the route to be established for the safe [00:49:17] passage of commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz. It was [00:49:20] announced that the joint communiqué was in its final stage. [00:49:24] It claimed that ships would use different routes for entry and exit from the Strait of Hormuz. [00:49:28] Iran and Oman's discussions [00:49:33] on the Strait of Hormuz have come to an end. The Iranian Foreign [00:49:36] Ministry announced that they had reached an agreement on [00:49:39] the safe passage route. Spokesperson Ismail [00:49:43] Bekhai stated that an agreement had been reached on the geographical [00:49:47] coordinates of the route. He said that the joint communiqué, which [00:49:50] included the main points, was in its final review stage. [00:49:54] Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazım Garibabadi stated that [00:49:58] the arrangement was a temporary route expected to last 2 to 4 [00:50:01] months. He said that the full opening of Hormuz depended on the US's [00:50:05] stance. [00:50:08] In the American press, it was claimed that ships would use [00:50:11] different routes for entry and exit from the Strait of Hormuz. According [00:50:15] to the New York Times, no navigation fee would be charged. However, [00:50:18] the service fee to be charged for security and personnel expenses between Iran and [00:51:06] In an interview with, he said that negotiations with Iran [00:51:09] were difficult. [00:51:12] Iranians are extremely difficult people. Also, they cannot [00:51:15] have a single voice within their system. There are those in the administration [00:51:19] who want the war to end, and radicals who want it to continue. [00:51:25] Dear viewers, Truth Social, the social media platform [00:51:28] owned by US President Trump, has introduced [00:51:31] early access to posts. The cost of this service [00:51:35] is 100 thousand dollars per month. Those [00:51:38] who pay this fee will be able to see the posts of the top [00:51:42] 10 most followed accounts, including Trump's, before [00:51:45] anyone else. [00:51:52] The social media platform called Truth Social, which [00:51:55] he owns, has introduced a new feature. According [00:51:58] to this, posts can be seen before anyone else by paying a certain [00:52:02] fee. [00:52:05] So, how does the system, which is offered for sale but [00:52:09] not yet implemented, work? Companies will be [00:52:11] able to see the posts of the top 10 most followed [00:52:15] accounts, including Trump's, in advance for [00:52:18] 100 thousand dollars a month. [00:52:22] Corporate subscribers will receive notifications in advance instead [00:52:26] of constantly refreshing the Truth Social app. [00:52:29] This will allow them to access posts early. [00:52:33] This application was named Truth [00:52:35] Up. [00:52:45] We will share two news stories from Brazil and the United [00:52:48] States back to back, and the images are also reflected in the background. [00:52:52] In Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, a severe storm knocked [00:52:55] down a tree. The tree, which got caught in electric wires, [00:52:59] fell in front of a pickup truck carrying cylinders. [00:53:02] In this accident, a disaster was narrowly avoided. [00:53:06] There were two people in the pickup truck carrying and they were recording the Kuwaiti wind. The tree fell [00:53:09] at that moment, dear viewers. The people [00:53:12] in the pickup truck panicked and threw themselves out, naturally. [00:53:15] The incident was filmed as you watched. These two people [00:53:19] narrowly avoided a major accident in Rio de Janeiro. [00:53:22] We will move on to the United States. This is Norfolk, a city [00:53:26] in Virginia. Heavy rainfall was observed in Norfolk. [00:53:29] Streets and avenues were submerged, and transportation [00:53:32] was paralyzed. [00:53:35] Meanwhile, a person rode a jet ski through the flooded [00:53:39] streets and avenues. These images were [00:53:42] recorded in Norfolk, Virginia. Look at [00:53:44] this image during the flood. We are sharing [00:53:47] a very rare image with [00:53:51] you. Now, we will continue [00:53:55] with images from beyond our borders. This time, we will share [00:53:58] the latest news about forest fires. In California, [00:54:01] United States, hundreds fires. [00:54:05] hectares of land turned to ashes. In Greece, flames engulfed [00:54:09] a neighborhood in minutes due to [00:54:12] strong winds, captured by a [00:54:15] security camera. Let's bring those images to your screens [00:54:18] now. [00:54:23] The state of California in the United States [00:54:27] is battling forest fires. The forest fire [00:54:30] that broke out in the Calaveras region spread over a large [00:54:33] area due to strong winds. As thick smoke covered the sky, [00:54:37] approximately 700 hectares of land turned to ashes. Due [00:54:41] to the flames approaching residential areas, evacuation [00:54:44] decisions were [00:54:45] made in some areas. [00:54:49] In Greece, the progress of the forest fire [00:54:52] was captured second by second by a security camera. The [00:54:56] images are from the Porto Yermeno region. In the images [00:54:59] recorded by a camera on a house balcony, it is seen [00:55:03] that the flames, growing due to strong winds, [00:55:06] surrounded the neighborhood step by step, reaching [00:55:09] the house where the camera is located. [00:55:18] Next, we will bring you news from China, Italy, and [00:55:21] India on your screens, again in the background. First, we are in China. In the [00:55:25] Yunnan province in the southwest of the country, a rock detached [00:55:28] from the slope and fell onto the road like this, dear viewers. It hit a car. The motorcycle [00:55:32] right behind the car was covered in dust [00:55:36] and smoke, but it narrowly escaped the accident. The images [00:55:39] of this accident were recorded by another vehicle's camera. [00:55:43] Let's immediately state that there were no casualties. We will [00:55:46] turn our cameras to the Aosta Valley in northern Italy. [00:55:50] Similar images came from the valley. Look. Huge rocks [00:55:54] detached from the mountain rolled down the slope [00:55:57] like this. This incident occurred at [00:56:01] the Breuil-Cervinia ski resort. Tons of rock are sliding down [00:56:05] the slope. As you said, experts evaluated this interesting [00:56:08] event and say that the rocks may have broken [00:56:12] off due to the melting of the permafrost layer [00:56:15] under the influence of extreme heat. Let's mention that no one [00:56:18] was injured in this incident either. We will immediately [00:56:22] move on to the images of another incident. We are [00:56:26] in India this time. A driver did not realize that the [00:56:29] parking platform was not on the floor, dear viewers. [00:56:33] Look, he drove his vehicle towards the empty elevator [00:56:36] shaft. Unfortunately, he fell from a height of 8 meters [00:56:40] with his vehicle. The driver was injured, and the vehicle [00:56:44] suffered heavy damage. This incident occurred in India. [00:56:47] The driver did not realize that the parking platform [00:56:49] was not on the floor. Our last stop will be China again. [00:56:53] This time, another accident image. A huge iron [00:56:57] gate collapsed on a woman like this, dear viewers. Thanks [00:57:01] to the plants around, the woman barely [00:57:04] escaped being crushed under the iron gate. Those [00:57:07] around who saw her condition rushed to her aid, and with [00:57:11] their combined efforts, look again on your screens, with [00:57:14] the help of the plants, the woman narrowly escaped [00:57:17] being crushed under the iron gate. These images [00:57:21] came from China [00:57:22] on your screens. [01:01:29] Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli [01:01:33] met in Beştepe. In this third meeting of the [01:01:36] year, the goal of a Turkey without terrorism and the [01:01:39] steps to be taken in the process were discussed. [01:01:43] Erdoğan and Bahçeli also [01:01:44] evaluated regional developments. [01:01:50] The goal of a Turkey without terrorism, the steps to be [01:01:54] taken after the framework law is submitted to Parliament, [01:01:58] and current developments. President Erdoğan met with [01:02:01] MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli, a partner in the People's Alliance. [01:02:04] The Presidential Complex hosted this third meeting [01:02:07] of the year. During the 45-minute reception in Beştepe, [01:02:11] domestic and foreign developments and prominent political [01:02:14] issues were discussed. [01:02:18] Erdoğan and Bahçeli's primary agenda was the goal of [01:02:21] a Turkey without terrorism. The President had conveyed [01:02:25] his thanks to those who showed support, especially MHP [01:02:29] leader Devlet Bahçeli, after the framework law [01:02:32] proposal was submitted. In the meeting, the steps [01:02:36] to be taken in the process after the proposal was [01:02:39] submitted were extensively consulted. The parliamentary [01:02:43] calendar regarding the process, which began with Bahçeli's [01:02:46] historic call, was discussed. Regional developments [01:02:49] were also on Erdoğan and Bahçeli's agenda. [01:02:52] Indeed, the bill on strengthening national [01:02:55] solidarity and social integration will be discussed [01:02:59] tomorrow in the Parliament's Justice Committee. [01:03:02] It is expected that the committee discussions on this 12-article [01:03:06] bill will be completed in a short time. After the [01:03:09] bill is approved by the committee, it will come to the agenda [01:03:13] of the General Assembly. [01:03:14] General Assembly discussions [01:03:20] are expected to start this weekend. In [01:03:22] order to strengthen our internal front, [01:03:26] as the People's Alliance, we took a historic step. [01:03:30] By initiating the process of a Turkey without terrorism, [01:03:33] we did not just put our hand under the stone, but [01:03:37] our entire body. The Grand National Assembly of Turkey [01:03:40] is experiencing historic days. The critical threshold has [01:03:44] been crossed in the goal of a Turkey without terrorism. [01:03:47] The bill on strengthening [01:03:50] national solidarity and social integration, consisting [01:03:54] of 12 articles, was submitted to the Parliament Speaker's [01:03:57] Office. The discussions on the bill, submitted with the signatures [01:04:32] of 356 deputies, will begin tomorrow in the Parliament's [01:04:36] Justice Committee. There is no general amnesty, special [01:04:39] status for individuals, or amnesty for intentional [01:04:43] homicide in the bill. Those who commit intentional [01:04:46] homicide within the framework of terrorist activities [01:04:49] and those who committed crimes requiring life or [01:04:53] aggravated life imprisonment before June 1, 2005, [01:04:57] are also excluded. Thus, [01:05:01] the leaders of the organization, including İmralı, were [01:05:05] excluded from the regulation. The bill only covers the [01:05:08] PKK and KCK, and does not cover other terrorist [01:05:11] organizations. Dear viewers, Minister [01:05:15] of Justice Akın Gürlek made a statement regarding [01:05:18] the bill prepared within the scope of the Turkey [01:05:22] without Terrorism process. He said that the bill [01:05:25] does not include a regulation regarding those who martyred [01:05:29] our security forces. Gürlek [01:05:30] stated that the goal of [01:05:35] a Turkey without Terrorism is a national state [01:05:38] policy based on the peace of the nation, the security [01:05:41] of the state, and a common future. Minister of Interior [01:05:44] Mustafa Çiftçi also stated regarding the process that [01:05:47] "Turkey without terrorism is the unwavering will [01:05:51] of our state." Minister of Justice Akın [01:05:55] Gürlek emphasized that the bill presented [01:05:58] to our Parliament does not grant special status [01:06:02] to anyone and does not include any regulations [01:06:05] regarding those who ordered terrorist attacks or those [01:06:08] who martyred our security forces. He underlined that [01:06:12] no special status will be granted to any individual, [01:06:15] and the regulation is not extended to other structures. [01:06:18] Minister of Justice Gürlek emphasized that the sensitivities [01:06:21] of martyr families and veterans will be given [01:06:25] the highest priority in the process. He said, [01:06:28] "The sensitivities of [01:06:34] our martyr families and our heroic veterans will [01:06:37] be the basic measure of [01:06:40] the process. Their honor and cherished memory will [01:06:43] be preserved." [01:06:46] In his statement, he stated that the goal of a Turkey [01:06:50] without terrorism represents the unwavering will of [01:06:54] the state and emphasized that there will be no [01:06:57] turning back from this goal. "We will permanently [01:07:00] rid Turkey of the terrorist threat, further strengthen [01:07:02] our national unity and solidarity, [01:07:06] and strengthen peace in our country and region. [01:07:27] Zeki Arıtürk is with us on TRT News. Welcome, [01:07:31] Mr. Arıtürk. Thank you, Mr. Fatih, good evening. [01:07:34] Thank you very much, likewise. [01:07:37] Now, when you look at the essence of this matter, [01:07:41] President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's initiation of [01:07:44] this process in Ahlat in 2025, [01:07:48] then MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli's very strong [01:07:51] declaration of it on October 1st at the opening [01:07:54] of the legislative year, the process that followed [01:07:57] was not rushed, but it also did not [01:08:00] progress slowly. Shall we talk about the will [01:08:04] of the People's Alliance? It is currently on screen. [01:08:08] How should the contributions of President Recep Tayyip [01:08:11] Erdoğan and MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli to this [01:08:14] process be evaluated, in your opinion? [01:08:18] I will say this, Mr. Fatih, in essence, the People's [01:08:21] Alliance is a structure that acts with the mind of a state and the will [01:08:25] of the state. So, let's say, when our President's [01:08:29] will and Mr. Devlet Bahçeli's foresight came together, [01:08:32] a state mind emerged. Now, look, you said something [01:08:35] very important at the beginning. It was not rushed, [01:08:38] and it was not too late. That is, after appropriate [01:08:41] and necessary measures were taken and observations [01:08:44] and considerations were made, the state activated [01:08:48] its state mind and extended its hand of compassion. [01:08:52] Now, when we look at this from the perspective [01:08:55] of both the People's Alliance and our President [01:08:58] Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Devlet Bahçeli, we see [01:09:02] this: both Mr. Devlet Bahçeli and our President [01:09:06] said, "We did not just put our hand under the [01:09:10] stone, we put our whole body." [01:09:12] Look. What is important here is that they did [01:09:16] not pursue electoral concerns or future concerns. [01:09:20] They said that if the homeland is at stake, [01:09:22] everything else is secondary. This is an event that [01:09:26] developed in that climate. Look, you summarized it [01:09:29] so beautifully. It was not rushed, nor was it [01:09:32] too late. A measured decision was made, it was [01:09:36] waited for, observed, and then two statesmen, [01:09:39] our President's will and Mr. Devlet Bahçeli's [01:09:42] foresight, came together, and a state project [01:09:46] for a Turkey without terrorism emerged with [01:09:50] the mind of the state, which is not enough, [01:09:53] and a region without terrorism. Therefore, [01:09:57] as a lawyer, when I look at it, when the framework [01:10:00] law was written, we lawyers generally look at events [01:10:04] and say, "Is there a deficiency, a flaw? What would I [01:10:07] add here?" We look at these articles and [01:10:11] ask, "Could there be something else?" But believe me, [01:10:14] this law was prepared so beautifully, such [01:10:18] good texts were created that no opportunity was [01:10:22] given for any "buts," "ifs," or "onlys." The most [01:10:25] important thing here is this: Mr. Akın Gürlek, [01:10:29] our Minister of Justice, and Mr. Çiftçi, our [01:10:33] Minister of Interior, made such good statements. [01:10:36] Intentional homicide, the so-called leaders [01:10:40] of the terrorist organization, [01:10:42] and the so-called managers of the terrorist organization [01:10:46] are excluded from this scope, and at the same [01:10:49] time, there is no article regarding the leader of [01:10:53] the organization, the so-called leader, Elikanlı. Look, [01:10:57] in terrorist organizations like ETA, IRA, and the [01:11:00] Shining Path, there were representatives of the United [01:11:03] Nations, a third party, a third state mind. But [01:11:07] the Turkish model was the first in the world. [01:11:10] Let me tell you, I am currently doing a doctoral study [01:11:14] on terrorism. There are approximately 200 doctoral [01:11:18] studies on terrorism, based on the information I have [01:11:22] obtained. Now, they generally say this, they refer [01:11:25] to it: in doctoral studies on law related [01:11:29] to terrorism all over the world, ETA and the [01:11:32] IRA are emphasized. This time, the Turkish model [01:11:35] must also be emphasized. Do you know why? Because [01:11:39] Turkey cut its own umbilical cord, without any "buts," [01:11:42] "ifs," or "onlys," without granting any privileges [01:11:46] to the terrorist organization, with its own free will [01:11:50] and its own state mind. Here, as Mr. Abdullah [01:11:52] Güler stated, and Mr. Fetih Yıldız said something [01:11:56] very important and meaningful at the end: he said [01:11:59] that we are throwing terrorism into the dark [01:12:03] dustbin of history. This is exactly the point [01:12:05] where these two leaders united and left their [01:12:09] mark on the second century of the Republic of Turkey. [01:12:13] That is, it became a state mind. Look, we are witnessing [01:12:16] history. A Turkish model emerged. While terrorism [01:12:19] was being cast into the dustbin of history, these [01:12:22] two leaders, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's [01:12:26] decisive decision and will, and Mr. Devlet [01:12:29] Bahçeli's contributions to this process, came [01:12:33] together, and as Mr. Fatih also said, a state mind [01:12:36] and state will emerged. Now, look, there is another [01:12:40] article there. Two articles are very important here. [01:13:06] The first article, in [01:13:12] the framework of these articles, is the National [01:13:15] Security Council. Who will benefit and who will [01:13:19] not benefit is written here. You know, intentional [01:13:23] homicide. As our great [01:13:25] leader Devlet Bahçeli said, "We are working [01:13:28] on a bill that will never offend the sacred [01:13:31] memory of our martyrs and their relatives." [01:13:35] This is very important. As children of this [01:13:38] country, we are also relatives of our martyrs [01:13:42] and veterans. Now, a situation has arisen [01:13:46] here that will relieve our consciences so much. [01:13:49] The bloody murderers are excluded from this [01:13:53] law. The so-called leaders, the so-called organization [01:13:56] managers, are excluded from this law. Those [01:14:00] who committed intentional homicide are excluded [01:14:03] from this law. This is exactly the point. Look, [01:14:07] those who massacred nearly 40,000 of our martyrs, [01:14:11] our village guards, soldiers, gendarmes, [01:14:14] police officers, teachers, and civilian citizens, [01:14:17] will not benefit from this law. The so-called [01:14:21] leaders will not benefit from this law. The so-called [01:14:25] managers will not benefit from this law, and the [01:14:28] leader of the bloody terrorist organization [01:14:31] will not benefit from this law. Who will benefit [01:14:34] from this law? Those who, while not being [01:14:37] members of a terrorist organization, expressed [01:14:40] sympathy, engaged in propaganda, provided financial support [01:14:44] to the terrorist organization, that is, financial support, [01:14:48] and were within the terrorist organization [01:14:51] but did not engage in any actions. Those who [01:14:55] are currently in prison, those who are abroad, [01:14:58] and the most important point of all is this: [01:15:02] look, the first article, while these articles are [01:15:05] being implemented, in accordance with the decisions of [01:15:09] the National Security Council, after the PKK, [01:15:11] KCK, and their sub-elements are completely eliminated [01:15:15] in Syria and other surrounding countries [01:15:18] and in Europe, even if the law passes through [01:15:22] parliament, it will be published in the official [01:15:26] gazette in accordance with the report provided [01:15:30] by the National Security Council, based on the [01:15:33] observations and intelligence gathered, after it is [01:15:37] confirmed that the terrorist organization has completely [01:15:40] laid down its arms, abandoned this idea, [01:15:44] and surrendered its ammunition and weapons. [01:15:47] It will cover a period of 6 months. This is [01:15:51] where we talk about the Turkish model. Just [01:15:54] as Mr. Fetih Yıldız said, the will of the [01:15:57] Republic of Turkey, our President, our [01:16:01] great leader Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who said he [01:16:04] would put not just his hand but his whole [01:16:07] body into this, and who has repeatedly said [01:16:10] that he wants this to end, even if it means [01:16:14] his political career, is now at a point [01:16:17] where we are about to throw this plague [01:16:20] of terrorism into the dark dustbin of history. [01:16:23] This is also, look, especially when we look [01:16:26] at it, some people who are manipulated and used as tools [01:16:30] from outside have difficulty [01:16:33] understanding these things, or rather, they do understand [01:16:37] them but unfortunately want to manipulate our [01:16:41] nation. But our nation's foresight and intelligence [01:16:44] are far beyond that. We see this in the [01:16:48] following: no matter what anyone says, today, [01:16:52] when we look at tourists in the East and Southeast, [01:16:55] when we look at the tourist potential, [01:16:58] it is said that there is an incredible increase [01:17:01] in tourist density in Mardin and Şırnak for [01:17:04] the first time in history. It is said that there [01:17:07] is an incredible tourist density in Diyarbakır. [01:17:11] Especially, we see that our citizens can now [01:17:14] comfortably visit these regions from the East [01:17:17] and Southeast. There used to be something like [01:17:20] this, Mr. Fatih, look, there were especially [01:17:23] civil servants who felt a tinge of sadness [01:17:27] when their assignments came out, wondering [01:17:31] if something would happen there, even though it [01:17:34] was their homeland. Their relatives were worried. [01:17:38] But now it's the opposite. There are people who [01:17:42] want to serve in the East and Southeast. What's [01:17:45] the reason? Life is cheaper there, and they [01:17:49] think there are better opportunities. We see [01:17:52] this as one of the most important indicators [01:17:56] of how far Turkey has come, to use our President [01:17:59] Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's words. So, this will [01:18:02] provided that we moved from a place where families [01:18:06] were hesitant, and teachers and civil servants [01:18:09] wondered what would happen when they were assigned [01:18:12] there, to a point where they say, "I wish I [01:18:16] was assigned there." [01:18:18] It has now evolved to a point where it [01:18:22] has changed the country's ill fate. And the framework [01:18:25] law has put the final touch on this, we can [01:18:29] easily say. It has become a point that encompasses [01:18:32] all of Turkey. It has become a point that will [01:18:35] reassure and soothe [01:19:01] hearts. And I saw this here: as a lawyer, [01:19:05] it was prepared magnificently and in a way that [01:19:08] truly suits our country and nation's integrity. [01:19:12] I see it as a text created with national [01:19:15] unity and integrity [01:19:16] in mind. Okay, we will [01:19:20] continue. At this point you brought up, there [01:19:24] is a very concrete manifestation that strongly supports [01:19:28] what you said, namely, what does the society [01:19:31] say? Street interviews are very important in [01:19:34] this regard. The bill on strengthening national [01:19:38] solidarity and social integration was welcomed [01:19:41] in the Eastern and Southeastern we are. We thank [01:19:44] our President and Mr. Devlet [01:19:48] Bahçeli, and everyone in the government [01:19:50] for their efforts. [01:19:54] Yes, we continue to talk with our esteemed guest, Mr. Arıtürk. [01:19:58] Now, in this conversation, [01:20:01] in this evaluation, the thoughts of the public [01:20:05] are also [01:20:07] very important, because you said, didn't you, that the state [01:20:11] should be able to address every segment [01:20:14] of society, almost every segment, take their opinions, and actually [01:20:18] crown this under the roof of the parliament. We are going through a process step [01:20:21] by step. The public is also very pleased. [01:20:25] We will talk about the direct and indirect effects of this [01:20:29] integration, but what does this interview tell us? [01:20:32] It's as if it's promising [01:20:35] a future of good dreams and [01:20:38] sweet sleeps, [01:20:41] tearing apart the nightmare that has been tried to be shown [01:20:45] for 50 years, right? [01:20:48] Fatih Bey, you actually said it very well. When we look at the images [01:20:52] in the middle of this control room, they actually tell us what our citizens [01:20:56] are telling us. Our flag can now wave in places [01:20:59] where our commandos, our soldiers, [01:21:02] our heroic soldiers could not wave it before. Now, [01:21:06] the citizen there holds our red star flag. [01:21:16] Bey, look how interesting it is. Just now, the citizens said, [01:21:20] you heard the citizens, didn't you? They say they want to get rid of the terror scourge there, [01:21:24] because the citizens there were tired [01:21:27] of the terror scourge. So, the blackmails [01:21:31] they applied there, the courts [01:21:34] they established, the money they collected, [01:21:37] had intimidated our citizens there, and people were not coming anyway. They couldn't earn a living. [01:21:41] The people there had to close their shops, and even though the state [01:21:44] was there, unfortunately, we saw these scenes. [01:21:48] What do we have now? Look, right [01:21:51] in the middle of our broadcast, people are trekking, going to nature. [01:21:54] Let me tell you, look, [01:21:57] there is no difference from Switzerland. We have more beautiful places [01:22:01] in the mountains of Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia. [01:22:05] We always see it as if there are very beautiful places in Europe. [01:22:08] From our ice craters to our waterfalls, [01:22:11] from our streams to our rivers, from our valleys [01:22:14] to our historical towns, there are many points and [01:22:18] a place where civilizations meet. Now, in a place where [01:22:22] there is so much beauty, people want to come here, [01:22:25] they want to travel here. Fatih Bey, let me tell you something, one of our friends called [01:22:29] me the other day from Mardin, and he said, Zeki [01:22:32] Bey, believe me, I've been here for years, [01:22:35] and this is the first time I've seen such a tourist [01:22:39] boom. The streets are full of people. There [01:22:41] was a festival in Şırnak, an incredibly big festival. They said [01:22:45] they had never seen such a festival in their history. And [01:22:49] we see this, look, we're talking about Şırnak. Okay, Mardin could have been [01:22:52] to some extent. From Kars, Hakkari, Ağrı, from the East, [01:22:56] from the Southeast, people are now easily [01:22:59] integrated, in national unity and solidarity, [01:23:02] and we have evolved into a climate where tourism, agriculture, [01:23:05] animal husbandry, and the underground and above-ground [01:23:09] resources of trade are discussed. There are structures [01:23:12] and mentalities that don't want this. Of course, [01:23:16] there is a saying by Churchill from a hundred years ago. He says, "The Anatolian geography [01:23:20] is not a worthless piece of land to be left to the Turks." [01:23:23] This sacred country, like a horse, [01:23:26] stretching from Asia to Europe, has been home to Turks [01:23:30] for a thousand years. They made it their homeland, [01:23:33] established tribes, founded empires, founded states, [01:23:37] and it will continue for a thousand years. Our President had a goal, [01:23:40] if you remember, 2071. Why [01:23:43] 2071? Because in 1071, Sultan Alparslan opened [01:23:46] the gates of Anatolia. A goal to celebrate 100 years. [01:23:50] Our President said 2071. [01:23:53] Look, there are those who are uncomfortable with 2071, [01:23:57] who want to erase Turks from the Anatolian [01:23:59] geography and drive them to the steppes of Central Asia. [01:24:03] But let those who want to drive us forget that [01:24:06] Hittites, Assyrians, Sumerians, Lydians, Lycians [01:24:09] came and went in this geography, taking their places in the dark [01:24:13] and dusty pages of history. However, the Turkish nation [01:24:16] has been living here for a thousand years and will continue to live. This is the part about national unity [01:24:20] and solidarity. And a Turkey without terror and a region without terror. [01:24:24] Look, it doesn't just say a Turkey without terror here, but a region without terror. [01:24:27] The most important factor here is that, including Syria, [01:24:30] including Iraq, including Europe and Russia, [01:24:34] all of PKK's and KCK's sub-structures [01:24:37] have now [01:24:40] been thrown into the dark pit of history. [01:24:44] The PKK terrorist organization and KCK terrorist organization [01:24:47] have ended, and it has become a point where the people embrace each other. [01:24:51] This success is the success of our President. This success [01:24:55] is the success of the will of the nation. This success is the success of our great statesman Devlet Bahçeli. [01:24:58] This success is the success of the nation. [01:25:01] Just as our Minister of Interior said, I hope [01:25:05] when we complete this process, we will do these broadcasts again [01:25:08] in the mountains of Hakkari. In the places [01:25:12] where the PKK roamed at one time, we will, God willing, [01:25:15] unite with the people and integrate [01:25:18] into a great Turkey. I dream of this, Fatih [01:25:21] Bey. There is not much time left. I am curious [01:25:24] about another opinion of yours. There is also a cost to this, you know. [01:25:28] Of course, there is a human cost, a human cost, [01:25:32] a moral cost. Our children, our martyrs, [01:25:35] our veterans, that is not the cost anyway. That cost [01:25:38] is something that can be measured, it cannot be measured but it cannot be calculated. [01:25:42] But of course, you also need to allocate resources for this fight against terrorism, [01:25:45] like logistics, security, etc. They all have branches. [01:25:49] There is a study about it, let me convey it, then I want to get a brief comment [01:25:53] from you. Let's see it in our news. So, dear viewers, [01:25:57] the cost of terrorism to the economy, or rather, [01:26:00] the cost of 40 years is 2 trillion 300 billion dollars. [01:26:04] So, what could have been done with this enormous amount? [01:26:07] What would have been done if it hadn't happened? The Directorate of Communications [01:26:11] presented the economic cost of terrorism to Turkey [01:26:14] with examples. A video was prepared [01:26:17] within the scope of the communication campaign launched with the tag "National Solidarity". [01:26:21] According to this, thousands of city hospitals [01:26:24] could be built, dozens of airports or [01:26:27] highways with this cost. More [01:26:32] in the news. The cost of terrorism to Turkey [01:26:35] is over 2.3 trillion [01:26:39] dollars. When we look at it in terms of [01:26:42] opportunity costs, the economic loss [01:26:46] of the country due to terrorism is almost [01:26:49] twice this figure. [01:26:52] 31 million earthquake residences, 15,000 organized industrial [01:26:56] zones, 218 Istanbul Airports, a solar [01:27:00] power plant that would cover 23 years of electricity consumption. [01:27:03] The Directorate of Communications explained the economic cost [01:27:06] that terrorism imposed on Turkey in 40 years with data. [01:27:10] In this context, a communication campaign was launched on digital [01:27:13] media platforms with the tag "National Solidarity". Attention was drawn [01:27:16] to the cost of fighting terrorism to the country's economy [01:27:20] with the videos and graphics prepared within the framework [01:27:24] of the campaign, its production and investments. [01:27:27] The investment capacity that Turkey could reach if this resource [01:27:31] were evaluated in different areas [01:27:35] was explained with examples. had been used for investment, [01:27:39] a solar energy plant with 4.6 million [01:27:42] beds could have been established. Or 5,191 city [01:27:45] hospitals with beds. [01:27:47] 3,650 [01:27:50] services could have been opened. 850 units of the [01:27:53] 1915 Çanakkale bridge, more than 100 modern [01:27:56] airports, 30,000 kilometers of highways, 36 [01:27:59] million social housing were shown among the things [01:28:03] that could be done with the said resource. The video [01:28:06] was shared on the social media account of the Directorate of Communications. [01:28:09] The sharing stated that terrorism targeted not [01:28:13] only our security and national solidarity spirit, but [01:28:16] also our economy, our future and our welfare. [01:28:20] It was stated that the trillions of dollars allocated [01:28:23] to the fight against terrorism for years prevented investments [01:28:27] in the future. When our process of a Turkey [01:28:30] without terrorism reaches its destination, [01:28:33] our country will be permanently [01:28:36] freed from this heavy economic burden. [01:28:40] When this issue is resolved permanently, the winner [01:28:43] will be all of Turkey with its 86 million [01:28:46] individuals, the nation will be the winner, [01:28:50] the country will be the winner. Cabinet members [01:28:53] also supported the work that quickly rose to the top of the social media agenda. [01:28:57] While the national solidarity tag stood out in the shares, [01:29:00] the goal of a Turkey [01:29:15] without terrorism was terrible. This is a very frightening number. Our President mentioned the second [01:29:19] century, implying that this terrorism scourge [01:29:23] was meant to prevent the Republic of Turkey [01:29:25] and its nation from achieving what they could, [01:29:29] but we succeeded. They couldn't make us kneel. [01:29:33] I truly congratulate him. When I watched that, I saw that this [01:29:36] was an activity carried out for 40 years to always hold this country back. [01:29:39] Our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is the greatest leader of Turkey's [01:29:43] second century, and this action he has taken tells us this: [01:29:47] he said 2.3 trillion [01:29:50] dollars, that is, he spoke of a terrorist organization that cost [01:29:54] 2 trillion 300 million billion dollars. But he said that economically [01:29:58] it is more than twice that, meaning he spoke of a figure close to [01:30:01] 5 trillion dollars. There is a brutal figure. We understand [01:30:04] the brutality of this figure as follows: that certain foreign powers [01:30:08] did their best to keep Turkey backward, [01:30:12] and tried to achieve this, but as you mentioned earlier, [01:30:15] Turkey succeeded despite all foreign [01:30:19] powers, despite all of Turkey's enemies, [01:30:23] and threw the PKK terrorist organization and [01:30:27] all its sub-branches into the dark [01:30:30] garbage bin of history. [01:30:33] We see this here. These data show why this happened. [01:30:36] Why does the PKK terrorist organization exist? I congratulate TRT for this data. [01:30:39] It was really well-researched. And [01:30:42] when we look at it, if this terrorist organization [01:30:45] hadn't existed, Fatih Bey, the point our country's Gross National Product [01:30:49] would reach, the point technology would reach, from train [01:30:52] tracks on the east-west, north-south route to highways, from airports [01:30:56] to ports, to hospitals, it was said what could be done. [01:31:00] But despite this, during his 22-year [01:31:03] term in office, our President achieved incredible things despite [01:31:07] the PKK terrorist organization. This left its mark on history. [01:31:10] He became the greatest leader of Turkey's second century. [01:31:14] Therefore, may God help him, may God not let him stumble. [01:31:18] I'm really saying, we witnessed history. That is, with our President, [01:31:21] Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, and his friends, Turkey [01:31:24] has made incredible progress, and what we see at this point [01:31:28] is this: despite the Israeli terrorist state, [01:31:31] the Zionist structure, and all of Turkey's enemies, [01:31:35] Turkey won an incredibly victorious war, [01:31:38] achieved a victorious success. Therefore, [01:31:42] this should be evaluated as [01:32:00] I would like to share a new development, or rather, information. [01:32:03] Communications Director Burhanettin Duran announced it on his social media [01:32:07] account. Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip [01:32:10] Erdoğan, will pay a one-day working visit [01:32:13] to Saudi Arabia on August 7, 2026. [01:32:16] Within the framework of the visit, our President [01:32:20] is expected to meet with Saudi Arabian Crown Prince [01:32:23] and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin [01:32:26] Abdulaziz Al Saud and Pakistani Prime Minister [01:32:29] Shahbaz Sharif. This was stated, dear [01:32:32] viewers. Of course, the meaning and importance [01:32:36] of this visit are much greater [01:32:39] at such a critical time, because [01:32:42] it can be read as a reflection of both the developments [01:32:45] that have taken place and the possible developments [01:32:48] and the effective and influential way [01:32:52] in which the Republic of Turkey, together with the top of the state, [01:32:55] is continuing its diplomatic [01:32:57] traffic. [01:33:07] Sir, the 10-year flight ended in prison. [01:33:10] The only fugitive suspect of the team [01:33:14] assigned to assassinate the President on July 15, [01:33:17] the terrorist Burkay Karatepe, was arrested [01:33:20] to face justice. The FETO terrorist [01:33:24] made important confessions in his statement to the police [01:33:27] regarding his connections with FETO and the heinous coup attempt. [01:33:31] Karatepe's confessions also revealed [01:33:35] how FETO prepared for the July 15 coup attempt [01:33:38] with great secrecy [01:33:39] for years. [01:33:44] Oh my. He joined [01:33:48] the terrorist organization in 1998. [01:33:51] He used the code name Selim. He received training and attended meetings within the organization. [01:33:55] He met face-to-face with the organization's leader in America. He had a catalog [01:33:58] marriage. He participated in the armed [01:34:01] and bomb attack [01:34:03] on the hotel where the President was staying. [01:34:07] After 10 years of being a fugitive, FETO terrorist Burkay Karatepe, [01:34:10] who was caught in Afyonkarahisar, [01:34:12] was arrested in Muğla. [01:34:16] In his 69-page statement, he made important confessions [01:34:19] regarding the organization's structure [01:34:21] and the coup attempt. [01:34:24] The terrorist Burkay Karatepe confessed that he maintained his connection [01:34:28] with the organization through the responsible persons during his education [01:34:32] and profession. He said that he got married [01:34:34] through the organization's catalog system. [01:34:37] In 2013, for the purpose of marriage, I met someone named Hami, [01:34:41] known as the marriage older brother. I said I wanted to marry a woman from the Hizmet (Service) movement. [01:34:45] My ex-wife, whom I married this way, had been an older sister [01:34:48] to university students within the organization. The terrorist [01:34:51] Karatepe also recounted his meeting with the FETO leader [01:34:55] in America in 2012. He said he hid to avoid being recognized [01:34:58] when going to the meeting. Before entering the mansion's [01:35:02] land, a person told me to change my clothes, [01:35:05] wear a hat and glasses, and that they were taking [01:35:09] this precaution to prevent satellite tracking. [01:35:12] I changed my clothes and put on the clothes they gave me. [01:35:48] the terrorist Karatepe, who confessed, said that those who participated [01:35:52] in the July 15 coup attempt also had similar ties to the organization. [01:35:55] When I took the exam, I saw that the questions were [01:35:59] identical to the questions given to us. I thought that the organization [01:36:03] that gave us the questions also gave them to other people [01:36:06] like us and helped them pass the staff officer exam, and after the July 15 coup attempt, [01:36:10] 90% of the trainees from my period were expelled. [01:36:13] For this reason, I think that 90% [01:36:17] of those who came to the course [01:36:18] were FETO members. [01:36:22] The FETO terrorist also explained how [01:36:26] they prepared for the July 15 coup attempt. We went to the house [01:36:29] of the older brother in Bahçeli Evler. There, the responsible [01:36:32] older brother told us that an important activity would take place soon. [01:36:36] He said that Şükrü Seymen would be our commander, [01:36:39] and that we should obey his orders and instructions, not tell anyone, [01:36:43] including our spouses, about this, and not take our phones with us. [01:36:46] I learned that Şükrü Seymen [01:36:48] was from FETO here. [01:36:50] The terrorist Karatepe said that he was involved in the assassination [01:36:54] attempt in Istanbul. He recounted how they went to Izmir [01:36:57] by helicopter, and from there to Marmaris with weapons and ammunition. [01:37:01] We landed at the Çiğli military air base. When we landed, [01:37:05] the area where I was going was also ready. Here, General [01:37:08] Gökhan Şahin Sönmezateş joined us. First, [01:37:11] Şükrü Seymen asked us, "Is there anyone among us who is not from the Hizmet (Service) movement?" [01:37:15] No one said otherwise. They told us that the army [01:37:18] had carried out a coup within the chain of command and control [01:37:22] regarding the activity to be carried out. In this context, [01:37:25] they told us that we would take the President and take him [01:37:28] to the designated place. Karatepe confessed that he participated [01:37:32] in the armed and bomb attack on the hotel where the President was staying. [01:37:35] He described the panic experienced by the team after the coup attempt [01:37:39] was thwarted. Şükrü Seymen tried to contact [01:37:43] Gökan Şahin Sönmezateş by phone. [01:37:46] Then he ordered us to retreat, saying that helicopters would come [01:37:50] to pick us up. We headed towards the place where we landed [01:37:54] from the direction we came from. Şükrü Seymen was still trying [01:37:57] to reach Gökan Şahin Sönmezateş and others [01:38:01] via his mobile phone and satellite phone, but [01:38:04] he couldn't. At this point, we understood [01:38:07] that the coup had failed. The FETO terrorist [01:38:11] gave contradictory statements regarding the large amount of gold and money found when he was caught. [01:38:45] his statements, his confessions, we will talk about all of them, but [01:38:48] after hearing all this, will those who [01:38:51] still want to caricature this process [01:38:55] give up their efforts? [01:38:58] Because we remembered a terrible [01:39:01] situation once again, and we can probably see [01:39:04] that the state was pursuing this with great foresight, [01:39:08] and that it is proof that the fight against FETO [01:39:12] has continued for 10 years after the July 15 coup attempt. What do you [01:39:15] say? [01:39:18] Yes, those you mentioned [01:39:21] are still theories, [01:39:25] opinions, allegations, [01:39:28] or rather, speculations, [01:39:31] that are produced by this [01:39:34] organization itself. After the failure of July [01:39:37] 15, this organization [01:39:40] tried to put forward the thesis that [01:39:43] this coup [01:39:45] was actually [01:39:48] a fiction, [01:39:50] and the global media, that is, the global [01:39:54] structure supporting this structure [01:39:57] and its media extensions, made a lot of [01:40:01] speculations on these issues. However, [01:40:05] the truth is, the truth is that [01:40:08] more than 250 martyrs, [01:40:11] the bloody night of the coup with hand-to-hand clashes, [01:40:15] with our people who were crushed under tanks, with cars, [01:40:19] with bombs dropped [01:40:22] from F-16s, with our citizens who were martyred, [01:40:25] with the blood that was shed, we can do it. Was that [01:40:29] night really [01:40:33] an uprising, a bloody coup attempt, or was it a [01:40:36] play? Well, [01:40:39] our 250 martyrs [01:40:42] and thousands of veterans tell us that there was a terrible, [01:40:45] bloody coup attempt. In fact, [01:40:49] the team sent to assassinate [01:40:52] our President alone already [01:40:56] reveals the bloody purpose and goal of the coup. [01:41:00] And the capture of the last [01:41:04] person from [01:41:06] these assassins and his [01:41:09] statements and confessions [01:41:12] showed this: they went to raid [01:41:16] the hotel where the President was staying in Marmaris [01:41:19] and carried out armed [01:41:23] and bomb attacks. Two [01:41:27] security officers were martyred there. Yes, let's [01:41:29] underline this. There were also security [01:41:33] officers who were neutralized later, but they couldn't [01:41:36] find our President at this hotel [01:41:40] due to the time difference. Yes, you are very right, [01:41:43] excuse me, he says on the night of July 15, [01:41:46] he went from Izmir to Marmaris with the assassination team, [01:41:50] and they opened fire in an armed and bomb attack on the hotel. But [01:41:54] at the point you mentioned, the timing and of course [01:41:58] the security measures prevented them from reaching [01:42:01] their heinous goals, and he confesses this himself. [01:42:05] Yes, it is [01:42:07] often said that human memory [01:42:10] is prone to forgetting. [01:42:13] This terrorist [01:42:16] organization also relies on this somewhat [01:42:19] to cover up the bloody coup [01:42:22] it attempted, but it is an approach [01:42:26] that mocks both human intelligence and the Turkish nation. [01:42:29] The confessions of this person, [01:42:33] who was caught as the last assassin, [01:42:36] explain step by step [01:42:39] how they carried out a bloody raid. [01:42:43] Here, we are [01:42:45] not talking about an event [01:42:48] that would leave any doubt, and we cannot say that [01:42:52] these are claims that are taken very seriously, [01:42:56] but we need to properly understand [01:42:59] this structure. The story [01:43:02] of Buğra Karatepe was actually [01:43:05] the story of FETO's infiltration into the Turkish Armed Forces. [01:43:08] At the same time, Major Şükürseymen, [01:43:12] Major Surprise, we went to middle school. [01:43:16] In middle school, we were introduced to [01:43:19] FETO's older brothers. We started to be influenced [01:43:22] and guided. Then, with the given questions, [01:43:26] we rose to the rank of staff officer at the Kara Harp [01:43:29] School, and we joined the special forces. [01:43:33] We saw that everyone in my team [01:43:36] was from the FETO movement. That major's words, [01:43:40] you know, he uses the phrase "anyone not from the Hizmet (Service) movement". [01:43:43] No one says no, "We are all from the Hizmet (Service) movement." [01:43:46] It is a clear [01:43:49] picture that emerges. The situation here is this: [01:43:53] this terrorist organization, which had been creeping into the Turkish Armed Forces for many [01:43:58] years, attempted a coup on July [01:44:01] 15, and in this coup attempt, [01:44:04] it can be said that it clashed [01:44:08] with the nation. [01:44:10] That is, it can be said very clearly [01:44:13] and distinctly that they could not succeed in this coup [01:44:17] against the resistance of the nation. [01:44:20] Before this, it has already [01:44:23] become very clear how many of those [01:44:26] who were detained, investigated, and tried were of FETO origin. [01:44:30] Now, we have probably [01:44:33] proven with our own eyes [01:44:36] and with the blood we shed that night [01:44:39] that it was a coup attempt. [01:44:42] mocking by saying it didn't exist, there is a group [01:44:46] that says this is really a very big [01:44:49] uh problem, I mean this mindset [01:44:52] uh which are not expressions that are much spoken about in public opinion in Turkey, [01:44:56] these are mostly the type of propaganda that fugitive [01:44:58] FETÖ members try to spread from abroad. [01:45:01] We can say that. We will continue, thank you very much Mr. Tayıs, [01:45:05] we will continue with you, but uh with another [01:45:09] uh. uh important headline like this, [01:45:12] efforts are underway to shed light on unsolved murders. [01:45:15] Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek held two [01:45:19] important meetings in this context. Minister Gürlek received [01:45:23] the families of former Special Operations Department Head Behçet Oktay and [01:45:26] Journalist Uğur Mumcu. The families demanded [01:45:29] that both files be opened and the cases be retried. [01:45:33] Minister Gürlek told the families, "As the state, we are with you, [01:45:36] nothing will remain in the dark." 17 years [01:45:42] ago, he lost his life suspiciously, allegations of FETÖ's involvement in his death [01:45:46] were always on the agenda. Now [01:45:49] the file will be reopened, no dark spots will remain. [01:45:53] Within the scope of revisiting unsolved cases, Minister of Justice [01:45:56] Akın Gürlek held important meetings back to back at the ministry. [01:46:00] Minister Gürlek first met with the son [01:46:03] and sister of former Special Operations Department Head Behçet Oktay at the ministry. [01:46:07] Hopefully, "there will be no dark spots here, [01:46:11] we will pursue this matter to the end, especially as the state, [01:46:14] we are with you, nothing [01:46:17] that has not been clarified will remain." Minister Gürlek reminded [01:46:21] of the suspicions surrounding Oktay's death by saying he was on FETÖ's radar. [01:46:24] At [01:46:27] with the duty he performed, [01:46:31] at the time when the organization started to gain strength, especially the events between 2007 and [01:46:34] 2010, we are examining the events that occurred in Turkey in great detail, [01:46:38] especially, could there be a FETÖ fingerprint here, because it can generally be an [01:46:42] organizational act. Behçet Oktay's son [01:46:45] Burak Oktay said that none of the bullets in the gun belonged to his father. [01:46:49] He stated that most of their neighbors in the [01:46:52] lodging where they lived later became FETÖ fugitives. Akın Gürlek [01:46:56] also held a meeting with the family of Uğur Mumcu, [01:47:00] who lost his life in a bomb attack [01:47:03] There are some issues we suspect. Especially [01:47:07] the files and incidents that the deceased looked into. [01:47:10] We think he was on the radar of a certain group due to the articles he wrote. [01:47:13] Mumcu's family also requested [01:47:17] that the file be re-examined. Uğur Mumcu's wife [01:47:20] Güldal Mumcu and son Özgür Mumcu attended the meeting. [01:47:23] This murder needs to be uncovered in all its aspects. The state [01:47:27] must reveal this perpetrator. There are [01:47:31] One person is currently a fugitive. Of course, we are using all communication [01:47:34] channels to bring him back from the Red [01:47:36] Bulletin. [01:47:39] Now. "only on this topic a program could be made for hours [01:47:42] but our time is very limited, yet it is necessary to talk [01:47:45] about it if a window [01:47:48] were opened from 20-30 years ago and this broadcast [01:47:52] we are talking about were shown from the beginning, [01:47:56] people would probably be astonished, wouldn't they? Isn't the point we have reached today very valuable? [01:48:00] yes yes absolutely [01:48:03] uh uh [01:48:07] I mean, first, I want to emphasize [01:48:10] some things about the late Special Operations Department [01:48:14] Head Behçet Oktay, because it is very [01:48:17] relevant to the topic we are discussing, yes [01:48:21] now 6 days before he was killed, [01:48:24] that is, 6 days before he died, [01:48:28] Behçet Oktay was listened [01:48:30] to by saying he was [01:48:32] a Hezbollah member [01:48:35] and was put under surveillance, by whom? [01:48:38] by the former FETÖ [01:48:41] Intelligence Department Head Ramazan Akgürey [01:48:45] at his time, by him. We were talking about FETÖ, weren't we? [01:48:48] We were talking about the July 15 treacherous coup attempt. [01:48:51] We know that the Head of the Special Operations Department [01:48:54] was listened to 6 [01:48:58] days before he was killed by calling him a Hezbollah [01:49:02] member and under another fake name. [01:49:05] The part where Mr. Minister [01:49:08] Akın Gürlek [01:49:10] stated that he was an individual on FETÖ's radar [01:49:14] is actually this. So [01:49:17] the clarification of this [01:49:20] incident. [01:49:32] We brought this issue to the agenda many times. It was not an incident [01:49:35] that our minds could grasp [01:49:38] or that fit the natural course of life. [01:49:42] The decisions made were that he ended his own life, [01:49:45] but since it did not fit the natural course of life, [01:49:48] we can say that this issue remained a suspicious [01:49:51] death in the public conscience. What are we talking about [01:49:55] for Uğur Mumcu again? [01:49:58] We are talking about the process of a Turkey without terror. We cannot help [01:50:01] but talk about the foreign powers [01:50:04] behind the 40-year terror that was inflicted on Turkey, [01:50:08] especially Israel recently. [01:50:10] Now, Mumcu's family [01:50:14] explicitly stated that Uğur Mumcu [01:50:17] was threatened when he was invited [01:50:20] to the Israeli [01:50:23] Ankara embassy. Later, [01:50:27] Uğur Mumcu personally stated [01:50:30] that he was threatened again with a headline [01:50:33] by a newspaper of the then [01:50:37] terrorist organization. And this [01:50:41] murder, despite being a direct [01:50:44] murder, was not clarified. But I think [01:50:47] it is extremely important that these files [01:50:50] are brought up again today. Our esteemed [01:50:54] minister's bringing up these [01:50:57] files again, which remained unsolved [01:51:01] or raised suspicions in the past, [01:51:04] is, I think, extremely important [01:51:08] and critical, because [01:51:11] this file related to our recent [01:51:15] and distant history [01:51:18] needs to be opened and closed in some way. [01:51:23] Otherwise, in the public conscience [01:51:26] and in our history, there are [01:51:30] many such suspicious and [01:51:33] unresolved files [01:51:35] that remain and cast a shadow on today. [01:51:39] These need to be resolved. [01:51:41] Yes, yes, they actually cast a shadow on today. [01:51:45] We can probably say this last sentence for tomorrow as well. [01:51:48] All these events, all this will, [01:51:52] this determination should create [01:51:55] concern for the wicked, for those who carry the potential for evil, [01:51:59] and this is indeed a very beneficial [01:52:19] diplomatic activity with regional countries continues. [01:52:23] Syrian Foreign Minister Sheybani came [01:52:26] to Ankara. Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and MIT Head [01:52:30] İbrahim Kalın met separately with Sheybani. [01:52:33] During the meetings, the integration of armed [01:52:37] groups, especially the SDG, into the legitimate [01:52:40] government in Syria [01:52:41] was discussed. [01:52:47] Syrian Foreign Minister Asad Hasan Sheybani was in Ankara [01:52:51] after a new phase was initiated in the process of a Turkey without terror. [01:52:54] Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with his counterpart Sheybani. [01:52:58] The integration of armed groups into the central government [01:53:01] in Syria was on the agenda. [01:53:04] The integration of all armed elements and so-called formations [01:53:08] under a central and legitimate national structure [01:53:11] is essential for the unity of Syria and the stability of our region. [01:53:14] Foreign Minister Fidan strongly [01:53:18] emphasized the importance of the issue for Turkey. [01:53:20] It is not possible for us to separate the prosperity and stability [01:53:24] of Turkey and Syria. Destabilizing activities [01:53:27] occurring in any corner of Syria also pose a threat [01:53:31] to Turkey. Syrian Foreign Minister Sheybani [01:53:33] said [01:53:36] that fighting terrorism is the main element in cooperation [01:53:39] between Ankara and Damascus. [01:53:42] All over the region and all [01:53:45] weapons. [01:54:10] The reflections on Syria were discussed. It was emphasized that constructive [01:54:13] steps were taken towards the advancing process of SDG's integration in Syria. [01:54:17] The importance of strengthening cooperation in the fight against terrorism [01:54:20] was highlighted. [01:54:25] Uh, we will discuss [01:54:38] dynamic. Syria-Turkey relations, mutual [01:54:42] meetings, diplomatic steps, this unity [01:54:46] in such a difficult geography, in such a difficult and critical [01:54:49] conjuncture, must be very valuable, right now? [01:54:52] I mean, it must be said that we are truly in a very chaotic period [01:54:55] in the Middle East. Every day is like a test. Israel continues its aggressive [01:54:59] stance, occupation, and attacks on one side. On the other side, [01:55:02] the conflict between the United States and Iran, [01:55:06] the Strait of Hormuz crisis continues. There are meetings, [01:55:09] serious concerns of Gulf countries are in question. [01:55:13] There is a conflict dynamic between the Houthis and Saudi Arabia. Unfortunately, [01:55:16] conflicts continue to be experienced in the Somalia, [01:55:19] Sudan, Ethiopia line. In such an environment, Syria is in a relatively [01:55:23] more stable position, and this, of course, happened thanks to Turkey, and it is very important [01:55:27] for Turkey. There is an ally in Damascus. This is important. [01:55:30] While regional politics are being designed, Turkey's approaches [01:55:33] to the region are being designed. [01:55:37] Having a friendly ally in Damascus and its steadily increasing [01:55:40] power, consolidating itself, [01:55:44] strengthening itself, is very valuable for Turkey. We have started [01:55:47] to reap the fruits of this. Today, again, the two [01:55:50] foreign ministers met and evaluated many [01:55:53] important files together. Now, the Turkey Without Terror process has an important [01:55:57] Syrian dimension, you know. The PKK had a dream of a state [01:56:00] there. Immediately after the coup attempt, [01:56:03] Turkey, with military interventions, largely destroyed this dream, [01:56:07] but the opposition movement centered in Idlib overthrowing the Assad regime [01:56:10] also created an element that isolated the PKK. Again, [01:56:14] Mr. Erdoğan's personal engagement with Trump also yielded results, [01:56:17] changing the American course of action, withdrawing support for this terrorist organization, [01:56:21] and even completely withdrawing from Syria, isolated the organization. [01:56:25] And with Turkey's support, Syrian government [01:56:29] military forces, you know, in a very short time, starting from Eşme, [01:56:32] Eşrefiye, Maksoud, [01:56:36] extending towards Tabqa and Raqqa, they largely succeeded [01:56:39] in militarily eliminating the organization and confined it to a very narrow [01:56:43] area. Then, an agreement was reached, and an integration [01:56:46] process was accepted. It is progressing slowly, [01:56:50] not at the expected pace, but significant progress [01:56:54] has been made. For example, they handed over all their oil wells, [01:56:57] started sharing important state institutions, [01:57:00] started handing over border lines, especially the Iraqi [01:57:04] lines were completely transferred in this sense. [01:57:07] Currently, the process of the SDG dissolving itself [01:57:10] and the remaining military elements integrating into the Damascus [01:57:14] army is underway. This will, of course, also run parallel to the PKK's disarmament [01:57:17] process. I mean, as you know, we are in an important [01:57:21] milestone in Turkey. That's why we don't just say "Turkey without terror." We talk about [01:57:25] a terror-free region. This issue had largely become a regional issue. [01:57:29] The PKK had actually been eliminated in Turkey for many years. [01:57:32] There is a great military success. The PKK had been cleared [01:57:36] from rural areas. Yes, there were various allegations, [01:57:40] perhaps very small cell structures or a very small number of PKK [01:57:43] elements in the mountains, but the organization had been significantly eliminated. The issue of Iraq [01:57:47] and Syria had turned into a terrorist organization. Now, with the implementation of integration [01:57:51] processes and disarmament processes there as well, [01:57:55] we will completely remove this issue from our agenda. [01:57:58] The remaining elements of the organization will integrate into the civilian sphere, [01:58:01] start engaging in politics, and will no longer [01:58:05] be an armed terrorist organization. [01:58:09] Uh, that's the goal. Thank you very much. Of course, there is also the [01:58:12] unfortunately Israeli dimension to this. [01:58:16] Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan also shared [01:58:18] and emphasized the following message during his meeting [01:58:21] with Sheybani: "Israel's [01:58:24] attacks targeting [01:58:27] the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria [01:58:30] are among the most serious threats [01:58:33] to the country's stability." [01:58:38] "The international community must express its reaction [01:58:40] more strongly against Israel's [01:58:43] occupying mentality and apply the necessary [01:58:47] pressure to ensure respect for Syria's sovereignty." [01:58:50] Now, starting from the points you just underlined, [01:58:52] one of the elements, even the primary [01:58:56] element, that feeds the YPG is Israel. [01:58:59] It maintained its hope until the very last moment, [01:59:02] but it continued to manipulate the organization. [01:59:07] That is, until the very end, Israel, through various channels [01:59:11] or through Mossad and other intelligence [01:59:14] elements, was in contact with PKK cadres, telling them to be patient, [01:59:18] that they would intervene somehow, that a chaotic situation might arise here, [01:59:21] and to resist and not dissolve themselves, thus manipulating the organization. [01:59:25] This is a direct piece of information that reached us from important sources. [01:59:28] But they did not get what they wanted. Especially with America's [01:59:32] disengagement, the balance of power completely developed on the Ankara-Damascus line. [01:59:36] And the operation to establish a terror state east of the Euphrates [01:59:39] against the PKK, to bring these elements down to the Mediterranean, and to cut Turkey's ties with the Islamic world, [01:59:43] the Arab world, completely failed. But even today, [01:59:46] the biggest threat to Syria's future is Israel. [01:59:50] It's not just the north, but also the south [01:59:53] through the Druze. I mean, Israel [01:59:57] has such a strategy: it does not want central governments, [02:00:00] governments backed by the majority in the country, to form and achieve stability. [02:00:04] It is a state that always invests in minorities in a way that triggers [02:00:08] ethnic and sectarian fault lines, because it tries to prevent strong states from forming around it. [02:00:11] It wants countries to lose their internal [02:00:15] unity and territorial integrity, to experience internal conflicts, [02:00:18] to deplete their energy, and to create areas that Israel [02:00:21] can occupy and use in the future. This is Israel's [02:00:25] fundamental doctrine. That's why they not only [02:00:28] heavily invested in the PKK, but also in the Druze in the south, [02:00:32] and due to its proximity to Israel, they also engaged in military [02:00:36] activities to prevent the Syrian government from establishing sovereignty there. [02:00:40] If you recall, they carried out serious attacks. Again, [02:00:43] by supporting various Druze commanders, led by El-Hicri, [02:00:47] they are trying to build a structure that operates in the Suwayda region, [02:00:51] immediately east of Dera, to continue a separatist [02:00:54] agenda. If the conjuncture allows, [02:00:57] if it's possible.
