Yes, Rasim Kılıç, many important topics [00:00:10] were discussed at the weekly briefing held at the Ministry of National Defense. [00:00:14] One of these was the attacks of the Houthi rebels in Yemen [00:00:17] against Saudi Arabia within the scope of the developments [00:00:21] in the Middle East. In the statement made by the Ministry, [00:00:24] it was said that the attacks carried out by the Houthis with unmanned aerial vehicles [00:00:27] targeting Saudi Arabia last weekend [00:00:30] were condemned. It was stated that such initiatives that threaten [00:00:34] regional stability should be stopped [00:00:37] as soon as possible. The Houthi threat [00:00:40] in the Red Sea and Bab-el-Mandeb [00:00:44] negatively affects not only regional security, but also international maritime [00:00:48] trade and global stability. [00:00:50] Of course, after this, a window was immediately opened [00:00:53] to the topic of the Mecca Defense Alliance. [00:00:56] In this context, it was stated that the Mecca Defense Alliance [00:01:01] is an agreement based on the deep relations and defense cooperation [00:01:04] between Turkey, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia, shaped by [00:01:08] the principle of defense and collective deterrence. [00:01:11] It was stated that the agreement is not against any country [00:01:15] and does not constitute an alternative to the existing relations of the party countries [00:01:19] with third countries. It was also stated that the Ministry of National Defense [00:01:22] carries out efforts for the development of military [00:01:26] cooperation, increasing interoperability, and strengthening defense [00:01:33] capacity in coordination between the countries, [00:01:36] and that efforts towards the institutionalization [00:01:38] of the alliance are continuing. One of the topics [00:01:42] discussed in this context was the visit [00:01:46] of Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis to the island [00:01:50] of Meis. [00:01:52] It was stated that the visit of the Greek Prime Minister with the accompanying delegation to the island of Meis [00:01:55] and his contacts with the military elements stationed there [00:01:59] were closely followed. [00:02:03] It was stated that the presence of military elements and warships on the island of Meis, [00:02:06] which was transferred to Greece under the 1947 Paris [00:02:09] Peace Treaty with non-military status, and the public display [00:02:13] of these elements during high-level visits, [00:02:16] are incompatible with the status of the island [00:02:20] and do not contribute to peace and [00:02:23] stability. It was further stated that [00:02:26] we emphasize once again that the attempts to create [00:02:30] a de facto situation contrary to the non-military status [00:02:34] of Meis, which is very close to the Turkish coasts, [00:02:37] are incompatible with international obligations and will not [00:02:40] be accepted by our country. Furthermore, [00:02:44] it was stated that our country advocates [00:02:47] for the Aegean Sea and the Eastern Mediterranean to be an area of peace and stability, [00:02:51] and for relations between Turkey and Greece to develop on the basis [00:02:55] of good neighborliness and dialogue, but this approach [00:02:58] does not mean that rights and obligations [00:03:01] arising from international agreements will be ignored, [00:03:05] or that a de facto situation will be tolerated on the field. [00:03:09] It was stated that we invite Greece [00:03:12] to comply with its obligations arising from international [00:03:15] agreements and to avoid activities incompatible [00:03:17] with the non-military status [00:03:20] of the islands with that status. It was stated that [00:03:23] our country will continue to resolutely protect [00:03:27] its rights and interests arising from international [00:03:30] law, while maintaining its constructive approach [00:03:33] in favor of good neighborliness and dialogue in the Aegean Sea [00:03:37] and the Eastern Mediterranean. In the statement made by the Ministry of National Defense. [00:03:41] On the other hand, the deployment of the 51st Commando Brigade [00:03:44] to Söke was also among the questions [00:03:48] asked by the press members. Regarding this commando [00:03:51] deployment, it was stated that the necessary arrangements [00:03:55] regarding the organizational structure and deployment status of our units [00:03:58] are made in line with the duties and operational [00:04:02] needs of our Turkish Armed Forces. On the other hand, it was also stated [00:04:05] that the change in the deployment location of the 51st Commando Brigade [00:04:09] was approved in June as a result of the evaluations [00:04:12] made in this context. On the other hand, the arms embargo [00:04:16] of the United States against the Greek Cypriot administration [00:04:19] of Southern Cyprus was also among the topics discussed. [00:04:23] Regarding this issue, in the statement made by the Ministry, [00:04:27] it was said that the extension of the lifting of the arms embargo [00:04:30] of the United States against the Greek Cypriot administration of Southern Cyprus [00:04:34] for one year until September 30, 2027 [00:04:36] is a step that could negatively affect the sensitive balances [00:04:40] and trust environment on the island of Cyprus. [00:04:44] It was stated that Turkey, as a guarantor country, [00:04:47] will continue to take the necessary measures for the security, peace, [00:04:51] and welfare of the Turkish Cypriots in cooperation with the authorities [00:04:55] of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, as it has in the past, [00:04:58] today, and tomorrow. Another topic discussed [00:05:02] was the developments in the Middle East and the developments at Israel's location. [00:05:05] In the statement made on this issue, it was stated that Israel [00:05:09] deepens the instability in the region by continuing its simultaneous [00:05:12] attacks against Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine [00:05:16] in front of the international community. [00:05:19] It was stated that the steps taken by 12 countries, [00:05:23] led by the United Kingdom, France, and Canada, [00:05:26] to ban trade and relations with illegal settlements [00:05:30] in the West Bank were welcomed. However, [00:05:34] it was stated that we invite the international community [00:05:37] to go beyond rhetoric and take concrete [00:05:41] and deterrent measures against Israel's targeting [00:05:44] of camps where displaced Palestinians live in Gaza [00:05:47] and settlements in southern Lebanon, [00:05:50] disregarding international law. It was reiterated [00:05:54] that Israel must immediately stop [00:05:58] its actions that violate international law [00:06:01] to ensure peace and tranquility in the region. [00:06:05] So, these were the prominent topics of the weekly press [00:06:08] briefing held at the Ministry of National Defense. Let's return [00:06:14] to you, Rasim Kılıç. There are important messages [00:06:17] regarding many topics in the weekly briefing [00:06:21] of the Ministry of National Defense. We will evaluate these prominent [00:06:25] topics with TRT News Editor Mehmet Kancı. Mr. Kancı, welcome. Welcome, Rasim [00:06:28] Kılıç. Now, especially in recent days, [00:06:32] there were drone attacks by Iranian-backed Houthis [00:06:35] in Yemen targeting many cities in Saudi Arabia, but yesterday, [00:06:39] unmanned aerial vehicles were seen in the skies of Mecca. [00:06:43] Therefore, this was met with a reaction from Turkey, [00:06:46] and statements were made one after another. First of all, how should [00:06:50] we interpret this, both regarding Turkey's stance [00:06:53] and the events in the region, because the Ministry of National Defense [00:06:56] has important emphasizes regarding the Mecca Alliance. [00:07:00] Now, of course, with the large territorial losses of Saudi Arabian-backed [00:07:03] forces in Yemen and island losses that could affect [00:07:07] the control of the Red Sea in September, [00:07:10] the issue has reached another dimension. [00:07:12] Until today, the Houthis were perhaps seen as Iran's [00:07:16] proxy force, but we need to look at the issue [00:07:19] from a different perspective. The issue has now turned into a Saudi [00:07:22] Arabian-Houthi war. Yemen was already divided into two [00:07:26] during the First Cold War. North and South Yemen. [00:07:29] After the Cold War ended, they united for a while, but for the last [00:07:33] 10-15 years, the issue of Yemen's separation is on the agenda again. [00:07:37] So, it is already de facto divided. Now, [00:07:40] the fact that Mecca is now being targeted by drones [00:07:44] brings the conflict to a dimension that cannot be accepted by regional [00:07:47] countries. This, of course, is even more dangerous [00:07:50] in terms of reviving a sectarian conflict, [00:07:54] similar to what happened in Syria, and stirring up the region from within. Of course, [00:07:58] whether the sighting of these drones [00:08:00] in the skies of Mecca is a false flag operation [00:08:04] or a threat originating from the Houthis [00:08:07] needs to be investigated separately, [00:08:11] because as you know, Israel's secret bases [00:08:14] were discovered in Iraqi territory. [00:08:17] So, this issue needs to be examined [00:08:21] in all its dimensions. Now, [00:08:24] we see such a scenario where the Kaaba has been targeted [00:08:28] since 1979. Yes, in 1979, [00:08:31] the Kaaba was occupied as a result of an internal [00:08:35] rebellion, and a military operation had to be carried out there [00:08:39] in response, and even French and German special forces [00:08:44] entered the holy land. Now, of course, the issue of the Mecca Alliance [00:08:48] has been discussed for a long time, what will Turkey and Pakistan do [00:08:52] against the Houthi threat, but we must not forget [00:08:55] this, Rasim Kılıç, such alliances [00:08:59] are not structures that can be established overnight [00:09:02] in terms of their legal and military organizations. [00:09:06] It is not possible to expect these [00:09:09] alliances to reach a concrete dimension [00:09:12] in a day or a month. Indeed, if we take NATO [00:09:16] as an example, the Atlantic Alliance Agreement, [00:09:19] which laid the foundations of NATO for the first time, [00:09:23] was signed between the United States and England [00:09:25] in 1941. The establishment of the alliance [00:09:29] accelerated after the Second World War due to the Soviet threat. [00:09:32] However, it was only in 1951 [00:09:35] that NATO was able to have a headquarters in Paris. [00:09:39] Ten years passed, so an idea is born, [00:09:43] and some agreements are signed on this matter, [00:09:46] but in order for a structure to be established [00:09:50] in terms of its legal and military organizational [00:09:53] dimension, even the size of the bullet [00:09:57] to be used in NATO, for example, was determined after long discussions [00:10:00] with the participation of all member countries, that's a standard. [00:10:04] Of course, the public questions this issue, [00:10:07] but let me say this once again, such alliances are not formed [00:10:11] overnight. "Also, [00:10:14] it is certain that some measures are being taken [00:10:18] that neither we nor the public are aware of, [00:10:21] in support of Saudi Arabia, and that the institutionalization [00:10:35] of the alliance and its impact on the relations of any member [00:10:38] country with third parties are not in question." [00:10:42] Let's look at the Aegean section now. I remember that in the past, [00:10:46] the then Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar [00:10:49] always emphasized a concept regarding the Aegean, [00:10:52] which was good neighborly relations. [00:10:55] The statements coming from the Ministry of National Defense [00:10:58] are also in this direction, but in return, [00:11:01] we do not have a neighbor [00:11:05] compatible with this emphasis. This is undoubtedly true, [00:11:09] because Mitsotakis had a visit to the island of Meis, [00:11:12] which is very close to our nose, and heavily armed soldiers were seen there. [00:11:15] Therefore, there was a reaction from Turkey to this. [00:11:19] This reaction was also expressed in the MSB statement from Turkey's perspective. [00:11:22] It was emphasized that the militarization [00:11:26] of the islands with demilitarized status cannot be accepted. [00:11:29] What is happening in the Aegean? First of all, it must be emphasized [00:11:33] that since 1821, when Greece declared its independence, [00:11:36] it has survived by approaching [00:11:39] whichever dominant power is leading in Europe [00:11:43] and taking money from them. Today, [00:11:47] because it has not received the expected support from the European Union, [00:11:50] it is now providing the same service to Israel. [00:11:54] This is the first factor. An agreement was signed [00:11:58] between Greece and Israel last month regarding the purchase [00:12:00] of air defense systems. The second factor is that [00:12:03] there will be elections in Greece in 2027, [00:12:06] and since the 1980s, since the period of Andreas [00:12:10] Papandreou, when the Panhellenic Socialist [00:12:13] Party came to power, there has been a clear pattern: [00:12:16] parties that want to rule in Greece prioritize [00:12:19] anti-Turkish sentiment. [00:12:23] The visit of Mitsotakis to the island of Meis [00:12:26] can actually be considered the beginning of this election [00:12:30] campaign. They felt the need to put on a show there. [00:12:34] Mitsotakis' party, of course, still has almost a year [00:12:38] left, but we don't know what will happen, [00:12:41] how the economy will progress in Greece, [00:12:45] whether they can achieve a similar clear success [00:12:49] to what they won in the previous election. Of course, there is also this, [00:12:52] a topic that the public [00:12:55] is still largely unaware of. The Aegean islands, [00:12:58] especially the Dodecanese and Meis, were not left to Greece [00:13:02] by the Treaty of Lausanne, but by the 1947 Paris Peace Treaty, [00:13:06] unfortunately, because, [00:13:09] apart from the islands left by the Treaty of Lausanne, [00:13:13] the Dodecanese had been ceded to Italy [00:13:16] as a result of the effects of both the Balkan Wars [00:13:20] and the Italo-Turkish War in 1911-1912. [00:13:24] When Italy lost the Second World War, [00:13:26] these 12 islands were left to Greece [00:13:30] as a result of the Paris Conference in 1947, [00:13:33] where the victors of the Second World War gathered. [00:13:36] But under what condition were they left? On the condition that they would not be militarized, [00:13:39] and that such scenes as going there with a warship [00:13:43] or displaying heavily armed special forces soldiers, [00:13:46] similar to the show Mitsotakis put on, which are already incompatible [00:13:50] with good neighborly relations and agreements, [00:13:54] would not be displayed. However, [00:13:58] as I said, Greece continues [00:14:01] its actions that provoke Turkey in the Aegean [00:14:05] and Eastern Mediterranean in a stable manner, [00:14:08] both due to the upcoming elections and its cooperation [00:14:12] with Israel. Now, while Greece continues [00:14:15] to provoke Turkey, on the other hand, [00:14:19] we saw in the statement of the Ministry of National Defense today [00:14:23] that a decision was made to move the 51st Commando Brigade [00:14:27] to Söke. It is perhaps too early [00:14:30] to say whether this is related to the events that have occurred, [00:14:34] or there is not much data available at this point, [00:14:38] but such an important development has occurred. [00:14:41] How do you evaluate this? Turkey does not need [00:14:45] the 51st Commando Brigade to go to Söke [00:14:48] to take action in the Aegean Sea. If we look at Turkey's capabilities today, [00:14:51] especially its drone capabilities and the psychological effect [00:14:55] these drone capabilities have created in Greece, [00:14:59] the movement of the 51st Commando Brigade should be considered [00:15:02] a very routine part of an operation. [00:16:02] Evet. İstanbul Merkez dediğimiz gibi 20 farklı [00:24:22] ilde gerçekleştirilen yeni nesil suç örgütlerine yönelik [00:24:25] 178 suspects detained [00:24:28] in the operation were referred to the courthouse. Istanbul Security Directorate Organized [00:24:32] Crime Branch. Istanbul [00:24:35] Bakırköy Gazi Osmanpaşa and Anatolian Public Prosecutor's Offices. [00:24:39] In coordination with international [00:24:42] operations against crime organizations [00:24:45] referred to as new generation in the recent period, [00:24:48] the police procedures of the apprehended suspects [00:24:51] were completed, and the suspects, who [00:24:54] underwent a health check, were referred to the courthouse. [00:24:57] Istanbul Police Chief Selami Yıldız, whose [00:25:00] opinions were included in the images shared by the police regarding the issue, [00:25:03] stated that they are dismantling all elements of crime organizations, not just their hitmen, [00:25:07] but from their leaders to their financiers [00:25:11] and field structures, one by one. [00:25:14] Yes, the operation was carried out [00:25:17] against 12 different new generation organized crime organizations [00:25:20] in 20 provinces headquartered in Istanbul, and 155 suspects [00:25:24] were detained, followed by 23 more suspects [00:25:27] being apprehended. It was determined that the organizations, [00:25:30] whose leaders are abroad and some of whom have red bulletins issued against them, [00:25:34] were involved in crimes such as shooting workplaces with motorcycles, [00:25:37] robbery, threats, damage to property, [00:25:41] and violation of the firearms law. During the searches, [00:25:44] unlicensed automatic pistols, [00:25:47] a large number of bullets, and drugs, [00:25:50] as well as money considered to be proceeds of crime, were seized. [00:25:54] Yes, another operation was carried out by the Istanbul Police Department Public [00:25:58] Order Branch Directorate. That was [00:26:01] against crime organizations. Simultaneous operations were carried [00:26:04] out in Istanbul, Kocaeli, Bolu, and Tekirdağ, [00:26:08] and 13 suspects were referred to the courthouse [00:26:12] after police procedures. It was determined [00:26:15] that the suspects were involved in 11 separate incidents. [00:26:19] In order to apprehend the suspects and seize [00:26:22] and preserve evidence that could be criminal elements, [00:26:25] an arrest operation was carried out against the individuals [00:26:29] and 13 suspect individuals were apprehended and detained. [00:26:32] The suspects whose police procedures were completed [00:26:36] and we have once again reminded that operations against new generation [00:26:40] crime organizations [00:26:43] are coming one after another with these operations, and let's hand over [00:26:47] to you. [00:27:25] as you said, the world is going [00:27:28] through an energy bottleneck. The global rising oil crisis [00:27:32] and attacks on energy lines are also pushing energy prices [00:27:35] up, and costs are rising. Of course, [00:27:38] rising costs also bring with them [00:27:41] the risk of supply at this point, [00:27:45] and countries are especially increasing their natural [00:27:48] gas storage capacity. Now, when we look at Europe, [00:27:52] the situation is quite the opposite. Occupancy rates in Europe [00:27:56] have reached their lowest levels in the last 20 years [00:27:59] and are below 70%. At this point, [00:28:03] as Europe enters winter, the occupancy rate in natural [00:28:06] gas storages is quite low. [00:28:09] When we look at Turkey, Turkey is quite prepared [00:28:13] at this point. The Minister of Energy and Natural [00:28:17] Resources, Alparslan Bayraktar, announced [00:28:19] that our natural gas storages are 100% full. [00:28:23] This has been the case since July. So, since July, [00:28:26] we can say that the occupancy rate in Turkey's natural [00:28:30] gas storages is 100%. Turkey is ready [00:28:33] for winter at full capacity at this point. [00:28:36] Today, we are at one of Turkey's important natural [00:28:39] gas storage facilities. We are in Silivri. [00:28:43] Turkey actually has two underground natural gas storage facilities. [00:28:47] One is in Tuz Gölü, and the other is in Silivri. [00:28:50] Today, we are at the Silivri Underground Natural Gas Storage [00:28:53] Facility. This facility has a natural [00:28:57] gas storage capacity of approximately [00:29:00] 4.6 billion cubic meters. We can say [00:29:03] that this is Europe's largest natural gas storage [00:29:06] facility in terms of capacity, [00:29:10] so let us convey this information to you. Turkey has achieved 100% occupancy [00:29:13] in these facilities. Before winter, [00:29:17] and even since July, the occupancy in these facilities [00:29:20] has been 100%. Together with Tuz Gölü, [00:29:24] this facility has a total natural gas storage [00:29:27] capacity of 6.3 billion cubic meters. [00:29:30] So, a total of 6.3 billion cubic meters of natural [00:29:34] gas has been stored in these two facilities, [00:29:37] and in a possible situation, during periods of increased [00:29:41] demand as we enter the winter months, the gas [00:29:44] located in these storages is re-transmitted to the main transmission [00:29:47] lines, and at this point, [00:29:51] Turkey takes its precautions [00:29:54] against supply risk. The activation of these storages [00:29:58] is very important in the face of a possible [00:30:02] heavy supply risk, not only in Turkey [00:30:05] but all over the world. As the world goes [00:30:08] through this energy bottleneck in terms of price fluctuations [00:30:12] and energy flows, the importance of storages [00:30:15] is great in case of a possible [00:30:19] disruption. At this point, [00:30:22] we can say that Turkey, with its 100% full storages, [00:30:25] has taken its precautions and supply [00:30:29] against the energy supply risk that the world is currently facing. [00:30:33] We are in Silivri. Let me give you information about this facility. [00:30:36] The natural gas storage capacity of this facility is 4.6 billion [00:30:39] cubic meters. Now, this facility also has [00:30:43] a daily re-production capacity of 75 million cubic meters. [00:30:46] What does this mean? This corresponds to 25% [00:30:50] of Turkey's natural gas needs [00:30:53] in one day. So, this facility [00:30:56] alone meets 25% of Turkey's [00:30:59] daily natural gas needs. [00:31:02] This is quite important. Of course, when we evaluate [00:31:06] it together with Tuz Gölü and look at the summer months, [00:31:10] these rates are higher. We are talking about a capacity [00:31:14] that can meet 25% of Turkey's [00:31:17] natural gas needs in one day in winter. As you know, [00:31:20] demand is quite high in winter, [00:31:24] and these natural gas storages come into play [00:31:27] during periods of high demand and can meet Turkey's [00:31:30] natural gas needs. In case of any [00:31:33] supply-side disruption, the storages being full [00:31:37] and the high occupancy rate in the storages [00:31:40] are quite important. Today, the natural gas storage [00:31:44] capacity of Silivri, together with Tuz Gölü, [00:31:47] is 6.3 billion cubic meters. However, the goal [00:31:51] is to increase this further, to double the capacity. [00:31:54] In the coming period, with new reservoirs [00:31:58] to be built both in Tuz Gölü and in the Silivri Underground [00:32:01] Natural Gas Storage Facility where we are today, [00:32:04] the total capacity is aimed [00:32:07] to be increased to 12 billion cubic meters. This is a very important [00:32:11] and critical goal for Turkey's energy supply [00:32:14] security. Considering the increasing [00:32:17] energy demand during the processes [00:32:21] that the whole world is going through, [00:32:24] the increase in natural gas storage capacity [00:32:27] is very important and critical [00:32:30] to avoid any risk to energy supply [00:32:34] and to prevent supply problems. [00:32:36] To summarize, as we enter the winter [00:32:40] months, Turkey's storages are completely [00:32:44] full, 100% full. Today, the Silivri Underground [00:32:47] Natural Gas Storage Facility with a capacity of 4.6 billion [00:32:50] cubic meters is 100% full and ready for winter. [00:32:53] Also, Tuz Gölü is 100% full. [00:32:57] Moreover, these were filled as of July. [00:33:13] in advance and is prepared, and let's hand it over to Ankara. [00:33:16] Dear viewers, the tension between Canada [00:33:19] and the United States has reached a new level. [00:33:23] Canada has grown closer to the European Union. A new model called [00:33:26] "associate membership" is being worked on. [00:33:28] Trump called this move [00:33:32] "ridiculous." He said, [00:33:35] "If this happens, I will impose serious taxes on Europe." [00:33:39] Relations between the US and Canada have been strained [00:33:42] since Trump took office. Canada has turned its attention [00:33:46] to the European Union. The Union announced [00:33:50] that they are working on a new model [00:33:52] with Ottawa called "associate membership" [00:33:55] instead of full membership. Trump reacted to this, [00:33:59] saying it was ridiculous. He said, [00:34:01] "If they do this [00:34:04] and I consider it a hostile act, I will impose very serious [00:34:08] taxes on Europe [00:34:10] or stop trade [00:34:12] in many areas." As the debate continued, [00:34:16] the Canadian government took a new step [00:34:20] towards distancing itself from Washington. During his visit to London, Canadian leader [00:34:24] Carney [00:34:27] made an official application to join the UK-led [00:34:31] joint task force. British Prime Minister Andy [00:34:35] Burnham praised [00:34:37] Carney, saying, "You are a great [00:34:40] and progressive leader with whom we share [00:34:44] many values, as well as common opportunities [00:34:46] in defense [00:34:48] cooperation and trade." [00:34:52] The Canadian President Carney's goal is [00:34:54] to reduce his country's economic dependence [00:34:58] on Washington and double trade [00:35:01] outside the US in the next 10 years. [00:35:05] Netanyahu's visit to America [00:35:09] before the UN General Assembly became a controversial [00:35:12] issue because [00:35:17] Netanyahu's plane was reportedly [00:35:20] expected to be diverted to New Jersey instead of New York. [00:35:24] This development is considered to be related [00:35:27] to New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani's [00:35:30] statement that Netanyahu is a war criminal. [00:35:34] From September 22nd, the world's eyes [00:35:37] will be on New York for the United Nations [00:35:40] General Assembly. The genocidal Netanyahu [00:35:43] is also expected [00:36:19] to go to the United States to attend the General Assembly. [00:36:23] However, a remarkable change occurred [00:36:26] in the route of the killer Netanyahu to the United States. [00:36:30] According to Israeli media reports based on US officials, [00:36:33] Netanyahu's plane will this time [00:36:37] land at Kennedy Airport in New York. [00:36:41] There was a traffic accident in Maltepe, Istanbul. [00:36:43] 9 people were injured in this accident. [00:36:47] The accident occurred [00:36:49] on the Coastal Road in Maltepe, Istanbul. [00:36:54] Two cars collided at the intersection of Turgut Özal Boulevard. [00:36:58] A car that went out of control hit a lighting pole [00:37:02] after going onto the median. 9 people were injured in the accident. [00:37:05] Teams were dispatched [00:37:06] to the scene [00:37:10] of the accident upon notification. 9 people trapped [00:37:14] inside the two cars were extracted from their locations [00:37:17] as a result of the efforts of the teams. [00:37:20] The injured were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Work continues [00:37:24] to find 11-month-old Büşra Baby, who disappeared [00:37:27] in the Divriği district of Sivas. In the investigation [00:37:31] launched into the incident, 6 suspects, [00:37:34] including the baby's mother and father, were arrested. [00:37:37] 11-month-old Büşra Balıkçı [00:37:41] disappeared in the Divriği district [00:37:44] of Sivas on September 10. Teams were mobilized [00:37:48] to find her. The Divriği Chief Public Prosecutor's [00:37:52] Office also launched an investigation [00:37:55] after the incident. 10 suspects, [00:37:59] including the parents of the little baby, [00:38:02] were detained. [00:38:04] 9 suspects, [00:38:08] whose procedures at the gendarmerie were completed, [00:38:12] were referred to the Divriği Courthouse. One suspect was released [00:38:15] after his statement at the gendarmerie. [00:38:19] The mother, father, [00:38:22] and four relatives [00:38:27] of the 11-month-old baby were arrested [00:38:31] by the on-duty judgeship they were brought before. [00:38:34] Three suspects [00:38:37] were released under judicial control. [00:38:40] The family's four children were taken under [00:38:44] protection within the Ministry of Family and Social [00:38:47] Services. The Sivas Governorship [00:38:50] announced that every possibility regarding the disappearance [00:38:52] of Büşra Baby is being investigated [00:38:56] meticulously. [00:39:00] Dear viewers, access blocking [00:39:03] has been imposed on accounts that target [00:39:07] the family institution. A decision was made to block [00:39:10] access to 494 social media accounts [00:39:14] that were found to be propagating LGBT and sharing [00:39:17] obscene content. [00:39:19] Accounts targeting the family institution [00:39:23] and public order [00:39:24] were put under surveillance. [00:39:38] Directorate, under the coordination [00:39:41] of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, [00:39:45] is carrying out a study on those [00:39:48] who target the family institution and public [00:39:51] order. In this context, [00:39:54] accounts that propagate LGBT [00:39:58] and share obscene content were identified. [00:40:01] The identified social media accounts [00:40:04] were examined one by one. [00:40:08] The Istanbul 1st Criminal Peace Judgeship [00:40:11] decided to block access to 494 social [00:40:14] media accounts. The decision [00:40:17] was made within the scope of the law [00:40:21] on regulating publications made [00:40:24] on the internet and combating crimes committed [00:40:30] through these publications. The decision to block [00:40:34] was sent to the Cybersecurity [00:40:37] Presidency for implementation. [00:40:39] Let's continue with the prominent [00:40:43] images recorded at different [00:40:46] parts of the world. First, we will go to the Pacific. [00:40:50] The United States targeted [00:40:54] another boat in the Eastern Pacific. Drug cartels [00:40:57] were targeted again, and an operation [00:41:10] was carried out on the boat they used [00:41:13] as a refueling station. [00:41:17] The US Southern Command announced [00:41:20] that the people on the boat were captured [00:41:24] and brought ashore, and then the boat [00:41:32] was shot and sunk. [00:41:35] It was reported that the detained [00:41:38] suspects [00:41:41] were handed over to Ecuadorian [00:41:45] authorities. The address of our second image [00:41:48] is Brazil, dear viewers. A balcony of a building [00:41:52] in Sao Paulo collapsed. [00:41:55] Now, the moments of the collapse [00:41:59] will be captured by cameras. [00:42:01] A 74-year-old person was passing [00:42:05] by on the sidewalk in Sao Paulo [00:42:08] at that time. [00:42:10] There was also a 44-year-old [00:42:14] woman next to him. They were trapped under the collapsed [00:42:18] balcony. The old man [00:42:21] was taken to the hospital. [00:42:24] The woman was also injured, [00:42:28] and her treatment in the hospital [00:42:32] continues. We will look [00:42:35] at the third image. The address [00:42:38] of this image [00:42:41] is Indonesia. The El Niño [00:42:43] weather event, exacerbated [00:42:47] by climate change, [00:42:50] fueled forest [00:42:53] fires in Indonesia. Flames [00:42:57] caused air pollution [00:43:00] on the islands of Sumatra [00:43:04] and Borneo. More than [00:43:07] 113,000 cases of respiratory [00:43:10] illness were reported. [00:43:12] It is stated [00:43:16] that the fires affected approximately [00:43:20] 12.5 million people. [00:43:23] Dear viewers, the countdown [00:43:26] has begun for MÜSİAD Expo [00:43:30] 2026, for which TRT is the communication [00:43:33] sponsor. Local producers [00:43:36] will meet with international buyers at the fair, [00:43:48] which will be held in Istanbul [00:43:51] from September 23-26. MÜSİAD President Burhan Özdemir [00:43:55] evaluated [00:43:56] the fair's export [00:44:02] targets to TRT News. New markets will be gained [00:44:05] in exports. [00:44:06] The heart of trade [00:44:18] will beat in Istanbul. The countdown [00:44:22] for the giant meeting [00:44:22] has begun. [00:44:26] MÜSİAD Expo, for which TRT is the communication [00:44:30] sponsor, [00:44:31] will be held [00:44:35] from September 23-26. It will bring together [00:44:39] producers from different sectors [00:44:43] and international buyers in Istanbul. [00:44:46] We have made our preparations [00:44:49] for over 8,000 [00:44:52] foreign participants from a total of 114 countries. We will also bring [00:44:56] together [00:44:58] more than 400 specific procurement [00:45:02] delegations unique to their fields [00:45:05] with our companies. Therefore, [00:45:08] it will significantly [00:45:11] impact exports. At the fair, [00:45:15] it is aimed to establish [00:45:18] permanent business [00:45:20] connections [00:45:24] through bilateral business meetings [00:45:27] and increase the trade volume. [00:45:30] It would not be wrong [00:45:34] to say that cooperation [00:45:37] of a magnitude that will contribute [00:45:47] to a total trade volume [00:45:50] of over 5 billion dollars [00:45:53] will be made in the next one [00:45:56] New sea [00:45:59] trade routes and energy resources [00:46:03] will be evaluated at the Arctic Forum. [00:46:06] Our Presidency also made us an official [00:46:10] commission member of the Arctic Forum. [00:46:13] As MÜSİAD, we are also [00:46:16] invited to the Arctic [00:46:20] Forum, which will be held [00:46:23] in Iceland on October 8. [00:46:26] We will also attend that. [00:46:30] Therefore, [00:46:33] before that trip, [00:46:36] we will organize a panel [00:47:03] where we will foods [00:47:07] and packaged products as much [00:47:10] as they can. But when that child [00:47:13] meets his friends at school [00:47:17] and his other friends buy things [00:47:21] at the canteen, you can no longer [00:47:25] keep him away from this. Important decisions [00:47:29] have been made regarding this. [00:47:32] Restrictions have been imposed [00:47:35] on sugary and fatty [00:47:38] products. [00:47:42] This means that sugary [00:47:46] products, french fries, [00:47:50] or chips will no longer [00:47:53] be sold. Also, [00:47:56] carbonated drinks [00:48:00] are among the restricted [00:48:04] products. From sugary [00:48:07] foods to french [00:48:11] fries, from chips [00:48:14] to carbonated drinks, many products [00:48:18] have been banned with the renewed [00:48:21] canteen regulation. [00:48:25] Normally, I don't consume [00:48:28] them, but this is better because when our friends [00:48:32] buy them, we also want to buy [00:48:35] them. This is better. [00:48:39] I used to buy them sometimes [00:48:43] too. Our cravings [00:48:47] make us buy them.
