[00:28:37] was found that foreign nationals an organized fraud
[00:28:40] structure was revealed. The Istanbul
[00:28:43] Chief Public Prosecutor's Office emphasized that the network was
[00:28:46] managed by Israeli citizens. It was determined that they
[00:28:50] lured people into traps by presenting unrealistic earnings in call
[00:28:54] centers that employed people speaking different foreign languages.
[00:28:57] When the victims wanted to withdraw their money,
[00:29:01] their accounts were blocked. It was seen that money was
[00:29:05] requested again for reasons such as taxes. It was
[00:29:08] detected that the deposited money was transferred to bank
[00:29:11] accounts and crypto wallets abroad. It was determined that the
[00:29:15] structure, which targeted many countries, especially in Europe,
[00:29:18] the Far East, and Africa, reached a volume of approximately
[00:29:22] 13 billion lira in transactions that were considered to be
[00:29:25] only office expenses and salary payments in two years.
[00:29:28] Within the scope of the operation, simultaneous raids were
[00:29:31] carried out in Istanbul and Muğla. So far,
[00:29:35] 203 suspects have been detained. It was determined that
[00:29:38] 47 of the suspects were from 20 different countries.
[00:29:42] 11 of these individuals were found to be Israeli citizens.
[00:29:45] Assets worth 1.5 billion lira, believed to
[00:29:48] have been obtained from the crime, 80 vehicles and 12 properties
