[00:00:08] of [00:00:15] Saudi authority say another projectile hits the international airport in Riyadh [00:00:19] as the hoothies claim responsibility for Saturday's deadly strike on [00:00:23] the same [00:00:24] in airport. Hello and welcome to TRT World Life from [00:00:28] Istanbul, I'm Jafar Hustan, so coming [00:00:30] up, Israel expands its so-called yellow line [00:00:34] in Gaza, [00:00:35] of forcing dozens of Palestinian families to flee in the middle [00:00:37] of the night. Donald Trump says Russia and Ukraine [00:00:41] have agreed to halt a strikes on each other's energy infrastructure. [00:00:45] Voluder Zelensky welcomes the move. The Polish [00:00:49] interior [00:00:49] of minister of says the man who [00:00:51] of threatened and planned to attack prime minister Donald [00:00:54] of Tusk has been [00:00:54] arrested. [00:01:00] of [00:01:10] of We start this hour in Saudi Arabia where authorities say another [00:01:14] projectile has hit Riyad's main airport causing fire. The [00:01:18] attack [00:01:18] of comes less than day after a missile strike at the same airport killed [00:01:22] in 13 people and injured more than 300 others. [00:01:25] of Hutis have claimed responsibility for the attack. The militia has also warned [00:01:29] airline. and travelers to stay away from Saudi [00:01:32] airports. Basambini begins our [00:01:34] coverage. Saudi Arabia has been [00:01:38] of hit hard, deep inside its territory. there was [00:01:42] panic inside the domestic terminals of king Khalid international [00:01:46] airport in Riyad after it was track by a missile [00:01:50] on Saturday [00:01:51] of afternoon. The Saudi led military coalition describes [00:01:55] what happened as a war crime, [00:01:57] of vowing, decisive response. A projectile [00:02:01] also landed near King [00:02:03] of Fahad International Airport in Damasmam. The [00:02:06] Saudis blame the Ansar Allah Hothies from neighboring [00:02:10] Yeman for the attacks. The UN secretary general also [00:02:14] pointed the finger at the group. Antonio [00:02:17] Guteresh demanded that the attack stop [00:02:20] immediately. The Iran backed group [00:02:24] said it carried out separate strikes on Riyad's main airport on [00:02:29] in Thursday killing. three people and damaging an aircraft, but they [00:02:33] haven't claimed responsibility for [00:02:35] of Saturday's strike. hours before, the huties had [00:02:39] said they were prepared [00:02:41] in to take reciprocal steps with Saudi [00:02:44] of Arabia to keep airport seaports and other civilian [00:02:48] of facilities used for humanitarian [00:02:51] a purposes out [00:02:51] of the expanding confrontation. the question now [00:02:55] is whether or not the US will respond to Saudi calls to join [00:02:59] in? think about that, i think it's terrible, [00:03:03] well you're going [00:03:04] of to find out, see, but i think it's terrible, [00:03:08] are the soudies able to defend themselves now, well they're able to defend, [00:03:12] look, the saudis are good fighters, but i think the attack was [00:03:15] terrible thing, the huties have already put pressure on [00:03:19] Saudi Arabia through their control [00:03:21] of the bebel mandab straight, through which much of [00:03:25] Saudi Arabia's oil exports are [00:03:28] shipped, but In the past week, the Yemani [00:03:32] of government forces, backed by Saudi Arabia, have made [00:03:36] some progress [00:03:37] of in pushing back the Huti advance. They claimed on [00:03:41] Saturday to have killed more than 1,400 [00:03:45] Huti fighters in 24 hours. The [00:03:48] next move could determine [00:03:51] of not only the state of this conflict, but whether the region [00:03:55] again becomes engaffed in [00:03:57] war. [00:04:00] world [00:04:02] of muhammad has been following the latest developments from so now [00:04:06] according to the military spokes person he has just made [00:04:09] this recent and fresh [00:04:13] pressure he mentioned that they have uh [00:04:17] more than 124 air rais have been carried out on different [00:04:21] areas under their control also he has mentioned that they [00:04:25] have attacked [00:04:27] of in three phases this evening. [00:04:31] uh the uh the aviation at the airport of king Khalid, he [00:04:35] of mentioned that the this is the second operation for them or [00:04:38] attack, it is also [00:04:41] targeted gas [00:04:43] station for she mentioned [00:04:47] shagram and that belongs to the aramco company and also the mentioned the [00:04:51] third operation according to his words, the [00:04:55] targeted tree that belongs to aramku uh which is an [00:04:58] oil facility. in the eastern eastern region [00:05:02] of Saudi Arabia he says that the most [00:05:04] of these uh attacks have been precise and also they have [00:05:08] reached uh their targets uh according to his and also he [00:05:11] also uh iterated uh his warnings to [00:05:15] the um aviation flight companies not to go [00:05:19] towards Saudi Arabia accept for the the [00:05:22] allowed for the aviation to to carry [00:05:26] on in Mecca and in Madina. He mentioned that [00:05:29] the uh he cautiously [00:05:32] warned workers and also employees not to go to to Saudi [00:05:36] Arabia. He is mentioning also we are in [00:05:40] latest press that the... have also carried [00:05:43] out um attacks inside the country on [00:05:46] mobilizations that that were coming from edin laahj [00:05:50] and the has mentioned that they have inflected heavy losses on [00:05:54] these reenforcements. [00:05:57] we are talking about the internationally recognized government forces the [00:06:01] which he they have mentioned also inflicting heavy loss on the [00:06:05] houthes they have mentioned that in this in their later recent press [00:06:09] that they have inflected heavy losses on [00:06:13] them they are talking about more than [00:06:15] 1,150 hoti [00:06:17] fighters, earlier i spoke to [00:06:21] rifat, the president the pakistan based think tank initiate [00:06:25] futures about whether or not Saudi Arabia is expected to [00:06:28] retaliate following second the attack on Riyad's main [00:06:32] airport, take a look at the [00:06:35] statements from turkey and most the Saudi military [00:06:39] establishment, they do believe that retaliation is extremely... important: [00:06:43] first of all, it's highly condemnable what has happened on the king Khalid international [00:06:47] airport with 12 civilians or over 300 casualties of which [00:06:51] many them have been injured, has taken place. it clearly suggests a [00:06:54] major escalation, it shows that the hot rebels or the Saudis [00:06:58] would like to call them terrorists, are not really inclined towards respecting [00:07:02] international humanitarian law, they actually [00:07:05] want escalate [00:07:06] this conflict to point whereby they're sending strategic signals, [00:07:10] according to them that the aviation industry. in Saudi Arabia and their [00:07:13] interception capacity the ballistic miles which are actually [00:07:17] incoming in the capital Riyadh can easily be exposed, so I [00:07:21] think that Saudi Arabia is under immense pressure to [00:07:24] basically first of all look forward to the prospect [00:07:28] of you know looking at the prospect of [00:07:32] you know calling upon their allies whether it's Turkey or Islambad according to the Maka defense [00:07:35] agreement to provide them with the necessary you could say military [00:07:39] equipment and the capability and the counter. brown [00:07:42] strategies which are enstrined in the agreement to attack the hoothies, because [00:07:46] this is major escalation, and as we're speaking right now, there's been another [00:07:50] attack at the King Khalid international airport which has resulted in significant [00:07:54] debris, so it clearly suggests that the hutis are pretty much [00:07:58] adamant that they want to expose Saudi Arabia and its ability to [00:08:01] basically defend itself, which obviously is red line for the kingdom, and [00:08:05] this is what I'm struggling to understand at this point in time, I understand Hothies are [00:08:09] backed by Iran, but when it comes to the latest escalation between the Hutis and the [00:08:13] Saudis, are the Hutis acting independently or [00:08:17] are they getting direct support from [00:08:19] Iran? well, first of all, it's very difficult to [00:08:23] distinguish between as a proxy and is as an [00:08:27] independent actor. now the Hutis would claim that they are independently acting [00:08:31] and retaliating against what they consider to be Saudi violations of [00:08:35] international humanitarian law in Yemen and obviously they [00:08:39] responded by curtailing the bubble under the... [00:08:43] mandib straight as well as ensuring that they could attack strategically [00:08:46] significant cities, whether it's Raad or the religious city of [00:08:50] Makkah, but obviously Iran's role in this entire conflict can [00:08:54] not necessarily be, you know, you can't dilute Iran's [00:08:57] role, because Iran has historically and in contemporary times obviously [00:09:01] provided the houti rebels with political, economic and military [00:09:05] support, but obviously the Iranian regime, I [00:09:07] mean if you take a look at the statements on Tehran, they'd be very cautious in [00:09:11] basically claiming... responsibility or even [00:09:14] condemming the attacks from the huti rebels as well, so it's a [00:09:17] difficult you, unless we don't have actual, we [00:09:21] can't really establish whether this was you know hoodwink by Iran or whether [00:09:25] this was proxy warfare, classical proxy warfare [00:09:29] or whether the hoothies were actually acting independently, but what we can establish [00:09:33] is that this has historically been in iran aligned [00:09:37] group which has operated in the middle east and is an extremely integral part [00:09:41] of Iran's so-called of resistance which also includes the [00:09:44] Iraqiia militias as well as hezbollah in lebanon, [00:09:48] so this is going to be very interesting to see as to whether or not this [00:09:52] was an independent claim, but the hutis have claimed quite [00:09:55] unabashedly that they independently acted with regard to the riad attack [00:09:59] which resulted in 12 casualties, and now there is also talk [00:10:02] about the US possibly attacking the hood, certainly [00:10:06] president donald trump is deciding whether or not he should send his [00:10:10] forces if the US gets involved at [00:10:13] this stage, what would it mean for the future of this [00:10:16] war? well, Donald Trump obviously, [00:10:20] he does want to brandish his credential as a [00:10:23] peacemaker, hasn't ruled out negotiations between the two [00:10:27] parties, but if the escalatory, if you take a look at this latest press [00:10:30] conference, where you speaking to the journalists for that matter, it is quite clear [00:10:34] that he wants these attacks to basically stop. now with this [00:10:38] continuation of attacks, first it was the drone which actually penetrated into the [00:10:42] religious city of Mecca, then you had the King Khalid airport being attacked [00:10:45] twice, the latest attack which took place today, which resulted a [00:10:49] ballistic message resulting in debri all [00:10:51] across the airport, that would... seriously [00:10:55] suggest that the US would want to make sure that some sort of military [00:10:59] deployments actually do take place to defend the kingdom, but I [00:11:02] think more so, I think the more important question [00:11:06] here would be, how would Turkey and Pakistan as [00:11:10] signatories to the Mecca defense agreement would respond to this, because [00:11:13] collective defense and ensuring that the sanctity the kingdom is [00:11:17] respected and whether attack a member state results, [00:11:21] it is actually equated to attack on all member states, those are central [00:11:25] tenents the Mecca defense agreement, so the United States as well as [00:11:29] regional players and allies of Saudi Arabia could definitely respond in kind [00:11:33] to this, but it if the Hutis continued to go ahead on this [00:11:37] escalatory path, we could see increased American [00:11:40] involvement and engagement as well as military deployments, but it [00:11:44] really does depend on whether this escalation would increase. I don't think this is a [00:11:48] strategic move, the Hutis would want to signal to the entire Middle East [00:11:52] that Saudi Arabia's economic, you could say, its ability [00:11:55] economically sustain itself is questionable, they don't have the interception [00:11:59] capacity, they also believe that air, [00:12:02] you know, the aviation industry would also be subject to their own [00:12:05] dictates, so this is more of a strategic move, but if it continues [00:12:09] escalate then yes you could say you could [00:12:12] you know you could speculate as to whether or not American [00:12:15] increase military involv, turkish foreign ministry has [00:12:19] strongly condemned Saturday's who [00:12:22] the attack on king Khalid international airport in Riad. In a statement [00:12:26] it says, these attacks which deliberately target civilian infrastructure and [00:12:30] innocent civilians constitute a clear violation of international [00:12:33] law and the principles of international humanitarian [00:12:36] law. We emphasize that such actions which [00:12:40] pose a threat to regional security and stability and undermine the international [00:12:44] community's collective efforts to establish peace must seiz [00:12:47] immediately. As Turkey, we reaffirm our support for [00:12:51] Saudi Arabia sovereignty and territorial integrity. [00:13:01] The Israeli military is expanding its so-called yellow line in the [00:13:05] east of Gaza City. Israeli forces opened heavy fire and [00:13:09] launched artillery shelling in shujaya injuring two Palestinians including a [00:13:12] pregnant woman. dozens of Palestinian families were forced to flee once again [00:13:16] in search of safety following advances by Israeli [00:13:19] military. locals describe it as night of [00:13:23] terror filled with heavy. Israeli gun fire and explosions. [00:13:27] The UN said nearly two-third the enclave is inaccessible to [00:13:31] Palestinians or subject to severe [00:13:33] restrictions. Residents of Gaza's al [00:13:37] Zawaida have inspected the aftermath of an Israeli air strike. The residents say they [00:13:41] were given five minutes to evacuate before bombs were dropped on the house on [00:13:44] Saturday. Israel has stepped up a strikes against Palestinians in [00:13:48] Gaza undermining a US broker cease fire agreed one year [00:13:52] ago. Israel controls more than [00:13:55] 70% in reality, because we are [00:13:59] here, we see this with our own eyes, 64%, that [00:14:02] was maybe two months ago, according to to [00:14:06] international agencies working in Gaza, but almost every hour, [00:14:10] every day far Israeli forces are creeping further [00:14:13] west, right now more than 2 [00:14:17] million people in Gaza are living in less than 30% of of [00:14:21] of Gaza's territory, Gaza is to be 300. [00:14:25] 60 square kilometers approximately and now people [00:14:29] are living within about 100 kilometers and even the 100 kilometers are not [00:14:33] safe because you have daily air strikes uh tank [00:14:37] fire, sniper fire, [00:14:39] even random fire by machine guns, you know they they just [00:14:42] open the fire on anything [00:14:44] that moves, they open their fires, they they they move their machine [00:14:48] guns to the western part of Gaza, so the majority [00:14:52] the territory that Israeli forces are... pointing their forces at [00:14:56] is towards the west, towards the Mediterranean, while in some areas like [00:15:00] Bethlahia and Northern Gaza, they point their guns towards the [00:15:04] south, and in the south the point to towards the [00:15:07] north, as not only that Jafar, even in the [00:15:11] in the Mediterranean, Israeli gumboats fire on people on [00:15:15] the coastal area where thousands of tents are located, [00:15:19] tens of thousands of not hundreds of hundreds of thousands of [00:15:22] children, women, elderly people are. living in [00:15:25] those tents, so far today, [00:15:28] at least six people were injured, including a pregnant woman, jafar [00:15:32] in her second trimester, and doctors say [00:15:36] it's they're not. or if they're able even to save the [00:15:39] mother or or or her [00:15:42] feetus now already since the start the [00:15:46] seasfire back in October 2025 and already now we already [00:15:49] passed one year since this so-called seasfire close to [00:15:53] 1500 people have lost their lives more than 500 others [00:15:57] injured while earlier this morning for example in [00:16:00] eastern ghaza city less than the kilometers from where [00:16:04] I'm standing if you go east about 3 km, 3 [00:16:08] and a half kilometers, I'll be, I'll be faced with a Israeli tank or [00:16:12] a machine gun in front of me. Of course, nobody, nobody [00:16:16] even dares to get close to that area where Israely soldiers are [00:16:20] located. A few hundred meters [00:16:24] to the west the so-called to this to the east the so-called [00:16:28] yellow line, they keep opening their heavy machine guns and [00:16:31] artillery and tank fire towards the [00:16:35] western parts of that area. so this morning [00:16:38] people were sleeping, although they're not sleeping safely [00:16:42] within uh partially standing [00:16:44] buildings damaged by [00:16:48] Israel's war and inside makeshift [00:16:51] tents [00:16:52] and they woke up this morning finding the yellow blocks [00:16:56] moved past them and this means you're a kill [00:17:00] zone so people you know panic dozens of families just just ran [00:17:04] away with whatever they can and sometimes some people i I've seen [00:17:07] people who who left with nothing because they know life is [00:17:11] more important than belongings [00:17:13] jaf [00:17:17] right Ashraf and I understand winter is only few months [00:17:21] away so how can Palestinians if at all prepare for [00:17:24] the harsh conditions [00:17:26] there [00:17:32] well every coming every every everything is coming against the Palestinians [00:17:36] in Gaza. weather, the some people say it's [00:17:40] the international conspiracy of silence when it comes to palestinians and [00:17:44] now the international organization of migration (iUM) [00:17:47] says Israel is not allowing tens of thousands of tens and [00:17:50] shelter shelter supplies to enter gaza, especially that [00:17:54] elninho is approaching and its [00:17:58] effects could could you know most likely will affect the [00:18:01] people of Gaza, and we have more in the following [00:18:04] package. [00:18:09] "Amil al harazin is a word man with what could be very [00:18:13] harsh winter around the corner, he's deeply [00:18:16] concerned for his family who live a [00:18:19] tent. I'm trying to secure my tent, I have [00:18:23] newborn baby who is less than a week old and three young [00:18:26] children. Last year we suffered badly when a storm hit, so I need [00:18:30] to be prepared this time. This year the conditions [00:18:34] could be much worse for the people in Gaza already. suffering due to [00:18:38] Israel's devastating war on the strip, for families [00:18:42] living in fragile shelters, even basic preparations may not [00:18:45] be enough, war damaged homes and obliterated [00:18:49] infrastructure leave many displacement sites [00:18:52] vulnerable to flooding as well as [00:18:54] collapse, we heard that very [00:18:58] powerful storm may be coming our way, it could destroy homes, let [00:19:02] alone tents, we put our trust in god, my tent is [00:19:06] so fragile that and light storm could destroy it, [00:19:09] imagine what this storm could do, the storm he's [00:19:13] referring to is the elninu weather phenomena. [00:19:17] scientists are warning about its catastrophic effects which could [00:19:21] settle firmly by december. and in Gaza, its [00:19:25] repercussions could make life even worse. according to the [00:19:28] international organization for migration (IOM) around [00:19:32] 1.8 million people are living in displacement sites [00:19:36] across the world. on territory, more than 80% [00:19:40] the tents and makeshift shelters are in poor [00:19:43] condition, while only 17% of winter shelter [00:19:47] needs have been met, we're dreading [00:19:51] the winter as well as the storm, the rain could flood our tents, [00:19:54] leaking in from above and sweeping in from [00:19:58] below, we have almost nothing to protect ourselves with, we [00:20:01] lie awake at night, worried about the rain and the strong [00:20:05] winds, there is no end to the... with [00:20:09] little protection from the rain, families fear the destruction [00:20:12] the shelters and the exposure to the cold. [00:20:16] As palestinians prepare to face another harsh winter, they brace themselves for [00:20:20] the worst, am mid Israel's refusal to allow adequate shelter [00:20:24] material. Ashraf Shanan, TRT World, [00:20:27] Gaza. In the occupied West Bang, illegal israeli settleers [00:20:31] attacked Palestinians trying to harvest olives on their land east of [00:20:35] Ramala. Residents from several. had gathered together hoping [00:20:39] there would be safety in [00:20:39] numbers [00:20:44] village west of ramalla palestinians came to pick up their [00:20:48] olives from a land the... used to pick up the olives from [00:20:52] since decades, but this year it's different as a lega settlers established [00:20:56] a new outpost at the top of that mountain. today [00:20:59] the residents decided to go to their land and to pick up their olives in [00:21:03] groups so they can guarantee their protection as illegal settlers are [00:21:07] attacking the palestinians frequently in different areas in the occupied west [00:21:11] bank, but they were also attacked by the illegal settlers and [00:21:15] of course backed by Israeli forces [00:21:19] palestiny. losing their land, the settle establish this outpost about [00:21:23] seven months ago, taking control the entire hill. this [00:21:27] is their fathers and grandfathers lands, they planted these trees and [00:21:31] worked hard to cultivate the land. during the olive harvest, [00:21:35] the settlers not only still their olives, but also take over their [00:21:38] land, preventing Palestinians from assessing their own [00:21:42] property. illegal settlers have seized the head the local cancers vehicle and [00:21:46] prevented residence from reaching the land. what is happening here is a part of [00:21:50] wider pattern across the occupied west bank, where Palestinians land have [00:21:54] been taken. Palestinians left today without picking their olive [00:21:57] harvest, but they [00:21:59] say they want to keep on trying, not just to get the amount of [00:22:02] olive harvest they used to get every year, but to keep the land, [00:22:06] identity and heritage. Turkish head of [00:22:10] communications bran has condemned Israeli defense minister [00:22:13] Israel's remarks targeting president recep and [00:22:17] Turkey. Theron says the comments reflect. political [00:22:20] desperation ahead of Israel's upcoming [00:22:22] elections. Baseless accusations against [00:22:26] Turkia cannot conceal the Israeli government's record of genocide in [00:22:30] Gaza or its continued aggressive policies in our region. [00:22:34] Cuds explicit that threats against individuals involved in sece fire [00:22:38] and peace negotiations are yet another manifestation the Israeli [00:22:42] government's disregard for international law. Turkey will continue [00:22:46] to defend the legitimate rights the Palestinian people, justice and [00:22:50] lasting peace: the Israeli government's threats, provocations and [00:22:53] summer campaigns will not deter our country from its steadfast [00:22:57] commitment to upholding what is right and just. At [00:23:01] least 13 people have been killed in aerial attack a gold mine near the [00:23:05] Sudanes Egyptian border, that's according to the Sudan doctors [00:23:08] network. It occurred in the very north of Sudan's river Niila [00:23:12] state. Egypt has previously carried out attacks in this area [00:23:15] accusing Sudanese minors of border violations or smuggling, though neither [00:23:19] Sudanese. nor Egyptian authorities have commented on Saturday's [00:23:23] incident [00:23:24] yet. [00:23:37] Donald Trump says Russia and Ukraine have agreed to halt a strikes on each other's energy [00:23:41] infrastructure. Donald Trump made the announcement on his truth social platform without [00:23:45] giving further details. It came two days after making a deal with Russian [00:23:49] President Vladimir Putin. to buy large quantities of diesel, earlier president [00:23:52] Donald Trump had said it was time for Ukraine to get new president, to which [00:23:56] Volodimir Zelensky replied saying it is up to his people to pick up a [00:24:00] leader. Aaron Dohluolu has [00:24:03] more made this announcement on [00:24:06] truth social, but the two parties, not only Ukraine, [00:24:10] Russia as well, have not made a comment on this announcement yet, Russia hasn't made a [00:24:14] comment and Ukraine, Zelinski has said that he's surprised but he [00:24:18] would welcome a ceasefire. Meanwhile uh Ursolov [00:24:22] underline the EU came out and voiced her support for [00:24:26] Zelinski, voiced the support the EU for Zelinski. Clearly there's [00:24:29] a row between the Ukrainian leader and President [00:24:33] Donald Trump. Uh, their relationship was always rocky even once [00:24:37] Trump got elected for his second term, Zelinski came to the White House [00:24:41] and that meeting got very tense, and since then they've had some [00:24:45] ups and downs, but of course now the big elephant in the room is [00:24:49] the new... diesel deal with Russia and Russia has [00:24:52] now uh committed to supply uh the United [00:24:56] States with extra diesel after Trump's call with [00:24:59] President Vladimir Putin so uh with that [00:25:03] bearing that in mind uh and the elections coming and the high gas [00:25:07] prices and the pressure on the Republican Party and President Donald [00:25:11] Trump um the president's thinking about lot of [00:25:15] different factors here including the elections [00:25:18] and [00:25:19] Ucrainian strikes on Russian oil infrastructure is only [00:25:23] going to bring oil prices up, so uh the [00:25:26] president wants to avoid that, but what's happening [00:25:30] today is another surreal turn of events, uh, what's the [00:25:34] strategy here? It could be wishful thinking, right, President [00:25:38] Trump wants a cease fire, but he comes out and announces a [00:25:42] cease fire that's news to Ukraine's president, the [00:25:45] same president that President Donald Trump called to be [00:25:49] replaced. yesterday uh, which was also a [00:25:53] very, very surprising and surreal turn of events, and now the [00:25:57] EU's backing Ukraine's president and [00:26:00] meanwhile president Donald Trump. Trump here in Washington is [00:26:04] making announcements that the other parties haven't even commented on, [00:26:08] and that's the current situation here in Washington [00:26:11] DC. The Polish interior minister says the man who [00:26:14] threatened and plananed to attack prime minister Donald Tusk has been [00:26:17] arrested. Police say they had received information about a possible [00:26:21] assassination plot on Tusk and his deputy who is also defense [00:26:24] minister. Senior ministers, police and security [00:26:28] officials later held a meeting in Warso. No further details [00:26:32] yet. on the suspect's identity or the plant [00:26:34] attack earlier I spoke [00:26:38] with, he is a political scientist [00:26:42] at the Institute of Central Europe, University of Warsaw, he explained [00:26:46] what could be the possible motivations behind this [00:26:48] plot, we should put this [00:26:52] current situation from today in the wider [00:26:55] context, I'm happy that you raised the point that Poland is [00:26:59] rather safe country indeed with. relatively low [00:27:03] crime rates, but what is important is that over the [00:27:06] last two days we had a whole wave of concerns [00:27:10] related to um online [00:27:14] organized attacks [00:27:18] by teenagers with the use of [00:27:22] knives, so over the last two [00:27:25] days there was a lot of tension, some schools were wondering [00:27:29] whether kids should be present, and [00:27:33] numerous informations were being delivered, um, it [00:27:36] turned out that these were issues rather of [00:27:40] internal matter related to [00:27:43] teenagers, you know, inventions, but what is also [00:27:47] important is that the information that you have [00:27:50] mentioned was released this morning at [00:27:54] 11 am, there was an official statement by the [00:27:58] secret services, which clearly indicated [00:28:02] that... [00:28:02] there was a tangible threat and what is most [00:28:05] important is that by this evening we [00:28:09] already have the information that the person was being [00:28:12] arrested, it is in lower cylegia and [00:28:16] the only thing we know is that this person is [00:28:20] connected to radical organization, but we have no [00:28:23] idea what kind of radical organization this is, we expect [00:28:27] more information to come later on, what is also [00:28:30] important is that it is a a [00:28:34] whistleblowing success, because a person that was aware [00:28:38] the plans informed the secret services and i think that [00:28:42] ultimately also [00:28:44] example it is an the [00:28:48] hopeful efficiency the [00:28:51] secret services in such situations, however we should not [00:28:55] forget that if what we know is accurate and this [00:28:59] is that there was somebody already signaling the... situation [00:29:03] then apparently the the the reaction [00:29:06] was much more swift. what do [00:29:08] you think is the government's plan to contain the situation? because [00:29:12] certainly as we have been discussing it's a relatively calm country, it's [00:29:16] safe, but incidents like this [00:29:19] obviously have created a lot of panic among the public. [00:29:23] it's making international news now. so based on that, what what do you think [00:29:27] is the government strategy going to be moving [00:29:31] forward? I think [00:29:33] actually there are two two sides of this [00:29:36] story, the first one is that we should not forget [00:29:39] that for the services, [00:29:42] this kind of information is rather [00:29:44] common [00:29:46] situation, and the the the point [00:29:49] today, and that was mentioned by the the the speaker the [00:29:53] government with the providing of public [00:29:57] information on that was first and foremost because the the threat was [00:30:00] apparently ' clear and present danger and [00:30:04] secondly, because the government wanted to [00:30:07] avoid exactly what you have mentioned, panic and [00:30:11] confusion, so this information was provided [00:30:14] publicly, and then we we have [00:30:18] the the outcome in the evening, in that sense I do [00:30:22] not expect any profound actions taken by the government [00:30:26] in the sense of future security [00:30:29] concerns related to this dimension, as I mentioned we [00:30:33] see an efficient reaction by the [00:30:37] state authorities, the appropriate institutions, therefore i [00:30:41] think that this is more kind of a signal for [00:30:44] others that the state has the capacity [00:30:48] to to to react to such [00:30:52] provocations quite swiftly. a state of [00:30:55] emergency has been imposed in the pakistani province of [00:30:59] government.
