[00:00:11] wherever the big news stories happening we're get up to [00:00:15] break it tvc news first with breaking [00:00:18] news. [00:00:44] On TVC Breakfast this morning, the federal [00:00:48] of government opens the conversation on state police, seeking [00:00:52] public views to help shape its operational [00:00:58] of framework. [00:00:59] of [00:00:59] of and later in the [00:01:03] show we turn our attention to [00:01:05] of the national policing bill and the task before the presidential working [00:01:09] group as efforts implement [00:01:11] of state police [00:01:12] continue. [00:02:28] vecetile media will bring us everything. on the newspaper we get to disect [00:02:31] it right here on the show. later a guest will join us and we will speak about [00:02:35] state police and very very important conversation. mr. patrick abangbu will [00:02:39] join us and we get to dissect it and also speak about the future of it. now what [00:02:43] we take you all the way to Abuja still conversations concerning state policing as is [00:02:47] on the lips of every Nigerian as we speak and then much later the very beautiful [00:02:51] allami day will bring us everything trending in the world of social media and more. I [00:02:55] employ you [00:03:00] show. Now we will start with the story. Minister of Education, Tunje [00:03:03] Alawasa has [00:03:04] of unvealed a major federal government initiative to transform autism care in [00:03:08] Nigeria through [00:03:09] of expanded specialist training, targeted investment in tercer [00:03:13] institutions and the establishment of autism centers across the [00:03:16] country's six geopolitical zones. Now speaking during an engagement [00:03:20] with stakeholders, Dr. Alasa said President Bolatu Nubu's administration [00:03:24] is investing in the human capital needed to strengthen [00:03:27] diagnosis, therapy [00:03:28] of and rehabilitation. services while [00:03:34] of of ensuring that Nigerian families can increasingly assess quality care within the country. The minister said the initiative [00:03:37] represents a significant step towards addressing [00:03:40] of the nation sort shortage of highly skilled professionals in [00:03:44] audiology. now the speech language therapy and also [00:03:47] occupational [00:03:48] therapy. [00:03:51] we have day shortage of [00:03:55] of ideologists, occupational therapists and speech [00:03:58] therapists and we have. have increasing number of [00:04:01] autistic children, children with h [00:04:05] hd disorders and it's so unfortunate that [00:04:09] people don't have that, cannot access the services here in [00:04:13] Nigeria, people are going to Ghana to get the [00:04:16] services, we do not have enough schools offering this, I've [00:04:20] made, you were not [00:04:21] of vice chancellor [00:04:22] of before, I've called head of institutions and I've [00:04:26] gotten commitment several [00:04:28] of them to start this program. [00:04:32] All right, so this is the conversation we'll be having this morning talking about autism, Mr. Show me, [00:04:36] we know how much uh, that affects the [00:04:39] of neuro of system, and oftentimes we've said, do we have enough care uh [00:04:43] of it in Nigeria, you [00:04:44] do we have enough hospitals, do [00:04:45] of we have enough people that are well trained, not just having people, but people that are actually [00:04:49] well trained, well I don't even, [00:04:53] I hardly do we have any dedicated services to deal with [00:04:57] autism and tr the country, I [00:05:00] It's that's nonexistance um [00:05:04] when you talk about autism you're looking issues right from the point [00:05:07] of but the point of detection [00:05:11] right up to. you know the point of um [00:05:15] going into education, then you look at the social [00:05:19] component, the social care component, there's also the health care [00:05:23] component, so what we have currently is at least an [00:05:26] initiative from the educational viewpoint, from [00:05:30] the minister for education, but do not forget that you have the [00:05:34] social care content, before you get to the point of education, what are we [00:05:38] doing from the beginning, what's the involvement of social care [00:05:42] services? caring for people with [00:05:45] autism and the level of support given to parents to [00:05:49] deal with that, before you get to the point of specialist care, you need to start [00:05:53] from that primary level and then establish support [00:05:57] services when parents are going through difficult times where they can go [00:06:00] to, where they can take um like daycare centers for autistic [00:06:04] children and all that before you get to this point, i think we still need [00:06:08] to get oters, i understand that is not the job the minister [00:06:12] for... education to deal with that aspect, but is the [00:06:15] responsibility of social welfare and health, to pick it [00:06:19] up right from you, very highly in [00:06:23] life until when they get to the point [00:06:26] of education, so but that's my viewpoint [00:06:28] on this, i think we need to provide such services, if you ask me, i think it's a [00:06:32] step in the right direction, knowing what parents actually go through when their [00:06:36] kids have autism, but olamiday, the world health organization estimates that [00:06:39] approximately one in 127 people globally had [00:06:43] autism in 2021, however, Nigeria still [00:06:47] lacks significant and comprehensive national data, so [00:06:51] this is what we're hearing, we know that there are lot of kids that actually suffer from [00:06:55] autism in Nigeria, some parents do not even know that their children are suffering [00:06:58] from autism, they'll tell you is village people, not even knowing that something is actually wrong with the kid, [00:07:02] but I think it's a step in the right direction if we're actually able implement it, not [00:07:06] just get centers, get people that are well trained to deal with kids that have autism, because you [00:07:10] need a certain kind of patience, a certain... kind of training actually to deal with those [00:07:14] kids? absolutely, you know, i think um autism [00:07:18] is it's a it's a cognitive blessing if you will, but we all know they exist a [00:07:22] spectrum you know from lesser traits of of autism to more [00:07:26] and severe traits of autism, but they are very very special children. reports are shown [00:07:30] us that they are gifted in various things in maths in arts, when they are locked [00:07:33] in and for lack of better phrase, they are actually locked in, it's time that [00:07:37] we we utilize their very unique and diverse minds and it's [00:07:41] glad to see this - at at the from the minister of education, [00:07:45] because it it hinders them from learning, and if you don't know how to cognitively reach [00:07:48] them scientifically with the data, you [00:07:51] are you're going to have a demographic in our education system that is neglected [00:07:55] because we don't understand their specific nuance needs, i think this [00:07:59] is very, very welcome, and i always push and advocate for those [00:08:03] who are marginalized or misunderstood in our society to be considered by [00:08:06] institutions to be considered by the people who are making policies and and making [00:08:10] decisions, this is very very... welcome the autism is very um it's a silent [00:08:14] struggle because there are many parents who are they they've had to go out by [00:08:18] themselves and and they're dealing with these children and they're not getting any help or [00:08:22] support any level in terms of education in terms of welfare in terms of [00:08:26] financing and so it's good to see that at the institutional level we are trying [00:08:30] to understand them in order to help them and incorkate them into our [00:08:33] education system successfully and i'm happy that we're actually picking this up i [00:08:37] remember i was at the airport i was going to abuja and [00:08:39] there was a particular kid you could see that he had autism and I just saw the [00:08:43] cry the parents how they were even [00:08:45] able to put him together because he was having a crisis there and I [00:08:48] believe that whatever it's a blessing in this guys you know buse like [00:08:52] olamide has said these people some them are very very intelligent there's also family on tiktok that [00:08:55] her [00:08:56] son has autism and I told you he draws so well he can actually draw [00:09:00] anything and we're also hearing that we're seeing that the six geopolitical zones [00:09:03] in uh you know Nigeria across Nigeria as well so we're just hoping that it [00:09:07] will extend to all those people even in the rural areas as well yes no [00:09:11] doubt about [00:09:12] that all they made very fantastic point about the struggles of parent, yeah, [00:09:16] it's not just the parents, it's the frustration experienced by autistic children [00:09:20] also, in some cases, parents because of lack of [00:09:23] understanding of what autism is all about and how to handle [00:09:27] them, you see some parents trying to beat those kids to [00:09:31] confirm to their own expectations, and well don't you think that's when the [00:09:34] parents do not even know that the child is autistic, that's another thing again, some parents actually do [00:09:38] not know, look, that's a major problem, particularly. [00:09:42] "when you leave the elites, go to the rural areas, you see it's a major [00:09:46] problem, lack of information, they do not even understand how [00:09:50] to deal with it, it's frustrating for parents on one part in on [00:09:54] another, in another way also it's frustrating for the children who [00:09:57] felt autistic children uh that they are being [00:10:01] misunderstood, they could not understand why the parents are behaving the way they're [00:10:04] behaving, also the parents could not understand why the children are behaving the way [00:10:08] they are behaving, at times they think is the which is from the village you." " [00:10:13] exactly, that's what i i was just saying, because you hear so many stories and people are saying, [00:10:17] oh my family people have done me, but do they actually go for the test? the first [00:10:21] step that we're taking, the first major step we are trying to do with. [00:10:25] autism so minister allows are well done, but we need to go back [00:10:29] you to and but don't you think another thing should be awareness also to [00:10:33] make parents actually do parents understand what [00:10:36] autis autism is? i think that okay yeah go ahead i was going i was also going to [00:10:40] just like you said [00:10:41] you know i want to commend the grassroots and the community stakeholders they have so many [00:10:45] initiatives that are being funded by parents and grassroot stakeholders i went to [00:10:49] event a couple of months ago and it was it was a golfing class for children with [00:10:52] autism so the people on ground [00:10:54] are actually doing so much to cater to these children, to understand them, to help [00:10:58] them live full, healthy and productive lives and it would be great to see a [00:11:02] government meet them more than halfway, the non-governmental organizations can [00:11:06] step in with a view you know through advocacy and try [00:11:10] and help parents to understand lot of things, so these are some the things which [00:11:14] CSOs and NGOs should be doing um with government [00:11:17] support obviously yeah, but if you ask me, I believe [00:11:21] that the step [00:11:22] in the right direction, one the first thing we need to do [00:11:24] is to make sure that these parents actually understand what autism is, if you ask me, [00:11:28] I believe that it starts from there, because uh some these parents are beating their children, not even [00:11:32] knowing that this is actually the struggles that they are facing uh, so it's a [00:11:36] step in the right direction, we wish to hear more of this as unfolds, we'll [00:12:09] Very warm and spirited, welcome back Nigeria, thank you for [00:12:13] staying with us up to this point on the TBC Breakfast show, it's now time [00:12:17] to have review the newspapers, we'll have closer look at some the [00:12:21] stories that have made it to the front of today's Dailies, let's dive. [00:12:25] writing, we begin this morning with the newspaper of record, which is of course the [00:12:28] nation newspaper, and the headline there reads, the lead story [00:12:32] tells us that troops and DSS, the department of state [00:12:35] security, free 308 in biggest [00:12:39] rescue operation, we get more information in the [00:12:42] byline as President Tinubu hails intelligence driven [00:12:46] action that brought backkara and Niger [00:12:49] victims. Let's move over to the [00:12:53] first daily news. paper and more good news here as [00:12:57] 176 have been freed from kidnappers, [00:13:01] there's mass rescue as victims regain their freedom in [00:13:05] kwara state. we get more information in the byline, the Nigerian [00:13:09] air force kills 12 insurgens in Burnaau air [00:13:12] strike and 17 Boko Haram family members have now [00:13:16] surrendered to troops. let's [00:13:20] mozi on over to the leadership newspaper and the main [00:13:23] headline here: President Tinubu applaud the rescue of [00:13:27] 308 Quara and Niger kidnap [00:13:31] victims. The biline tells us that 163 [00:13:35] Woro and Quara abducties were freed and [00:13:38] 145 Niger victims were released. The [00:13:41] victims that were rescue that were rescued by the military and the DSS and the [00:13:45] police from Kinji Lake National Park forest. This [00:13:49] was told to us by the presidency over on the blueprint [00:13:53] newspaper, it's a same line of thinking. Here how [00:13:56] 308 karara and Niger abducties regained [00:14:00] their freedom, this is being said and by President [00:14:03] Tinubu. We get more information in the by lines as President Tinubu lords [00:14:07] our security personnel and he urges more early [00:14:11] warning mechanisms. The army has now placed a 60 million [00:14:14] narr bounty ice swap leaders and community [00:14:18] policing is key to tackling our nation's insecurity. This is being [00:14:22] said by Sultan. Let's move over to the [00:14:26] platform Times newspaper: troops on mass top [00:14:30] eye swap leaders and they declare 38 terrorists wanted. They [00:14:34] also offer a 60 million nayer reward. We get more [00:14:37] information in the byline, apparently a forensic analysis of [00:14:41] seized devices exposes insurgents operational [00:14:45] networks. The military is now warning Nigerians against [00:14:48] attempting to arrest any suspects themselves. They've now [00:14:52] identified Lake Chide High. after successful [00:14:56] offensive and rescues. Let's take a walk over to the [00:15:00] Nigerian tribune. And the main headline here. [00:15:03] I believe this is the big story the day. There's anger as the EFCC [00:15:07] freezes oshun government account. This is [00:15:11] power abuse taken too far. This is being said by the [00:15:15] imole campaign council. The action is unlawful and it is [00:15:18] politically motivated, says the accord national [00:15:22] chairman. It is political terrorism. ADC state [00:15:26] government goes to court, but on their part, [00:15:29] EFCC um gives an account and their reason for [00:15:33] this. We'll move over to the punch newspaper and it's a legal aspect to the freezing [00:15:37] of. the ocean state government account. the Nigerian bar association [00:15:41] false EFCC as Aushen account freeze sparks [00:15:44] a row. We get more information in the byline. The opposition is [00:15:48] accusing the federal government of using the EFCC to weaken [00:15:52] Adil. Just 10 days before the Aushen uh governance [00:15:55] poll. Uh the election timing is irrelevant. Suspicious [00:15:59] transfers forced aus account freeze says EFCC as [00:16:03] Oshin government kicks back against this [00:16:05] freezing. Let's move over to the van God [00:16:09] newspaper, the same line of thinking here, on EFCC, [00:16:13] outrage greets EFCC's freezing of oshin government's [00:16:17] account. Why we froze the account, says the EFCC. A [00:16:21] delegate is now to um challenge his action in court as as were being [00:16:24] told by the byline. The anti-graft agency lacks [00:16:28] the power to freeze the accounts. Aug. [00:16:32] Let's move over to the Guardian newspaper. Main headline here [00:16:36] reads oshun 20. 26 adelek and APC [00:16:40] bicker over fraud and vote buying plot as well as [00:16:43] intimidation. Let's take a little walk down to [00:16:47] the observer times and it's still on the same [00:16:51] story [00:16:51] here. Aushen and EFCC clash over account freeze ahead [00:16:55] the August 15 election. We get more information in the bylines [00:16:59] were told the antig graph agency sites suspicious mass [00:17:03] transfers from the Aushen government account and the AB [00:17:06] AD. now labels this move, political [00:17:10] terrorism. Let's head over to the this Nigerian newspaper. [00:17:13] Lead story here. August 15, tension mounts [00:17:17] ahead the Aushen governorship poll. A delquet is [00:17:21] alleging that EFCC freeze his [00:17:24] froze his state accounts and David Dow calls for a peaceful and very [00:17:28] credible election. The anti-graft agency sites alleged 11 [00:17:32] billionaire fraud and the suspicious for fraud fund [00:17:36] transfers for action. Let's move over to the Nigerian news [00:17:40] direct, a main story here reads a del k heads to [00:17:44] court over alleged EFCC freeze on Ocean Government [00:17:47] accounts. EFCC says we frose Aushen accounts for [00:17:50] suspicious transfers and 11 billion naira funds [00:17:54] mismanagement [00:17:56] and let's move over to the new telegraph here, different part of of [00:18:00] our country where presidency knows Catholic bishops [00:18:03] mirrored current realities. This is being said by Professor. [00:18:07] gay senior advocate of [00:18:44] begin with the nation newspaper and it's good news here it's the same line of [00:18:47] thinking with the first daily newspaper as well [00:18:51] as the leadership newspaper 308 victims were [00:18:55] released by and rescued by the department of state [00:18:59] security 163 victims were abducted from mor [00:19:02] community Kayama local government area ekwara [00:19:06] state and from Niger. 145 victims, according to [00:19:10] the presidency, they've been following the story, weeks of intelligence gathering and it [00:19:14] was executed inside Kaingi Lake National Park, and they [00:19:17] now uncover the long established criminal hide out. Mr. Show me, what do you [00:19:26] first time I, I can clearly say that we are [00:19:29] really doing everything possible to deal with um [00:19:32] terrorism and um kidnappers and also [00:19:36] to free. uh the victims without necessarily paying [00:19:40] ransom, i cannot say that it's not been paid in some cases in the [00:19:44] past, but likely we are now beginning to see that the federal government [00:19:47] is serious you know to deal with this problem. now the president [00:19:51] inted at something you know after the oly raise abduction [00:19:55] sager when he said we understood uh [00:19:59] we had the map the park now probably we [00:20:02] now have the map of um this um [00:20:06] kanj dam [00:20:09] loka uh forest um area also and I'm sure probably we're doing the [00:20:13] same thing for all parts the country and it will now become a [00:20:17] very difficult thing for people abdoting people to run away thinking [00:20:20] they can keep people in the bush and the military will not come for them but I must [00:20:24] also commend the Nigerian military we've seen the good [00:20:28] investment which we are making into the military is beginning to yield the result they [00:20:32] deserve every up applause on this absolutely aria [00:20:36] you know lot of times w [00:20:38] were focused on one agency, just the DSS or just the air force, but this was a [00:20:42] combination of efforts from several agencies, the National Counter Terrorism Center got [00:20:45] involved, the Nigerian army, the DSS as well as the police, and so this is very [00:20:49] successful. joint operation, exactly, when we say one broom cannot swip a [00:20:53] forest, this is exactly what we mean, at the end the day when we work together, we work with [00:20:57] intelligence, wel achieve lot of greatness, but I'm very happy to see this, and I love the [00:21:01] fact that this administration is not joking, we're sending a signal to this people [00:21:05] that we will protect our citizens, which is the main duty of every [00:21:08] government, but yes, as we celebrate this, I also believe that we should make [00:21:12] it, you know, be a Nigeria that we don't get to see these kidnappings happen then we [00:21:16] rescue people, because my only problem is that I think about the trauma that these people. [00:21:20] even after they come out, it's a step in the right direction, but then again olam, how do we protect [00:21:24] this kingi park now, how do we make sure that it's not a place for you, [00:21:27] criminality to happen, so as this has happened, the rescue has happened, what are we now doing to [00:21:31] make sure that that park is cleared, that park is not a place that we see lot of [00:21:35] criminality happen, it's a step in the right direction once again, but what are we doing to make [00:21:39] sure that this doesn't happen again, and i also like the fact that we're doing this without [00:21:43] paying ransom, well without paying ransom, if that's not happening, because [00:21:47] i've said it all oftenimes, pain the ransom is telling the... people that we at your mercy and we [00:21:51] cannot keep telling them that we need to take really bold steps against this kidnaper [00:21:54] sending message very correct mr show me it's the same line of thinking with the [00:21:58] leadership newspaper president tinubo has applauded the rescue these 308 [00:22:02] victims uh but let's move over to the platform times and it's still issues of [00:22:06] terrorism here but slightly different angle the main headline [00:22:09] reads troops on mask top eye swap leaders [00:22:13] and they declare 38 terrorists wanted and they're now offering [00:22:17] a 60 million nayer reward. and now we forensic analysis [00:22:21] of sees devices we're seeing here in the byline the platform times paper has [00:22:25] now exposed insurgents operational network, but the military is also warning [00:22:29] people that even though we're offering a bounty and [00:22:32] we're offering bounty for these terrorists don't arrest any suspects by [00:22:36] yourself so how how are people supposed to to this line and do you think this is going to be a good [00:22:39] incentive? yes it is, mean it's a standard practice [00:22:43] um globally you know when you have um a threat to national [00:22:47] security you are bound to give in inducement, try [00:22:51] and get people to cooperate with law enforcement agencies. in some [00:22:55] cases, it's always targeted that people within [00:22:58] those um kidnappers and terrorists, [00:23:02] some them might fall for that temptation and [00:23:06] provides useful information that would lead to the arrest of those [00:23:09] characters. if you notice one thing, there's a [00:23:13] constant threat you know in this battle now, which is [00:23:17] is being intelligence driven, the... manag even the [00:23:20] troops managed to to identify all the people they need [00:23:24] to arrest simply you know by going through some other things [00:23:28] and through some other intelligence sources and then be point [00:23:32] the leaders and said look these are the people we need and then please bounty on them [00:23:36] and as far as i'm concerned i think is [00:23:37] a good move already they know they are now being wanted [00:23:41] so they probably will be on their hills the most important thing is we don't [00:23:45] want them in our country and think a key thing here on the platform times that the troop the [00:23:48] troops on mask. top eye swap leaders, masking [00:23:52] them, taking away their sort their cover, I'm going to take you over to the [00:23:56] Nigerian tribune newspaper, um, and it's on the big story the day, there's [00:24:00] anger as EFCC freezes the Aushen [00:24:03] government account, uh, everybody is chiming in, the [00:24:07] molek campaign council, this is on the Nigerian tribune, says this is power taking [00:24:10] too far, I call national chairman, the party which are delicate in says, [00:24:14] this action is unlawful, it is politically motivated and just days [00:24:18] before the election, servants and [00:24:21] other [00:24:29] people in your [00:24:30] some civil state some palliatives and you were giving them 20 2000 but [00:24:34] it seems as though you were attempting to mismanage these funds and put it [00:24:38] towards your your election kind of what do [00:24:41] you make of this you know that the elections elections are like a hot [00:24:44] spots you come the 15th of august i'm going to start to the fact that [00:24:48] inec really needs to do lot. to make sure that we get a free, fair, credible [00:24:52] election in uh or an election devoid of violence, I'll say it again, an [00:24:56] election devoid of violence. now when we talk about why did the EFCC phase it? [00:25:00] according to the EFCC, they said it's been investigating on state finances [00:25:04] since March 2026, and now the investigation concerns the [00:25:07] alleged handling of approximately 11 billion. okay, and [00:25:11] also the commission said that a large sudden transfer of government funds, [00:25:15] but although with everything that the AFCC has said their delicate [00:25:19] administration is actually saying that this is not fair, you're doing this politically to weaken [00:25:22] me ahead of uh uh [00:25:24] you know what's going to happen on the 15th of August, but whatever it is, my main question, Mr. [00:25:28] Shomi, I bring this to you as well, like people are asking, does the EFCC actually [00:25:32] have the power uh [00:25:33] you know to seize the ocean accounts just ahead the election when we know that is on [00:25:37] the 15th of August, almost next nine days to go, actually do you think that they are trying [00:25:41] to actually win the I will answer that question by first [00:25:44] posing one question, being a governor does he confer [00:25:48] a right on you? to take funds not appropriated [00:25:52] for a particular purpose you know and then use it [00:25:56] as supposedly palliatives not in the budget and then handing [00:26:00] that out two weeks. that's the issue is that [00:26:04] are you bribing the electorate or what? no one knows, but you cannot use public funds [00:26:08] for that. now in terms the legality the action taken by the [00:26:12] EFCC, you need to go through money laundering uh [00:26:15] prevention and prohibition act 2022. it's quite clear [00:26:19] if you go through section 7 subsection 6 [00:26:23] that the EFCC has a right you to [00:26:27] block any account if they suspectum unlawful activities [00:26:31] going on or the kind. is about to be committed on that, they [00:26:34] have that right, they can only block it for 72 hours, [00:26:38] thereafter the EFCC needs to go to the courts, to [00:26:41] get an extension, to get a cour order to extend [00:26:45] that period, otherwise up till now, I think the EFCC [00:26:49] is still in order, they may still approve the call today, show me quickly, what we [00:26:53] see here is that according to the addelic he's saying that the EFCC can investigate a [00:26:57] state but should not freeze the account without a judicial [00:27:01] administration, but law is very clear, look, go, [00:27:04] let me read, do you want me to, I was just going to take you guys over to the punch [00:27:08] newspaper, the Nigerian abbar association is now faulting EFCC, [00:27:12] they are saying that you must obtain a court order before you freeze government [00:27:15] accounts and it's the same line of thought on the vanguard newspaper and the guardian [00:27:19] newspaper as well, there's outrage, everybody is saying this is [00:27:22] unlawful, this let me quickly money laundry now, [00:27:26] anybody can google it, money laundering um money laundering [00:27:30] prevention and prohibition act? 2022 go to [00:27:34] section 7 subsection 6 subsection 6 says not [00:27:38] withstanding the provisions of subsection 5 the unit or the [00:27:42] commission or the authorized representatives shall place a stop [00:27:45] order not exceeding 72 hours don't forget shall [00:27:49] is obligatory not any account or [00:27:53] transaction if it is discovered that such account or [00:27:56] transaction is suspected to be involved any unlawful [00:28:00] act thank you for that m good. so why do you think the nigerian bar [00:28:03] association is kicking back if this people are playing [00:28:06] politics has a right to do what they are doing [00:28:10] nobody is talking about whether a governor has a right to take public funds [00:28:14] and start giving 2020 is [00:28:18] also saying is saying [00:28:19] that what has happened as well will delay payments of salary you see [00:28:22] the thing you see [00:28:23] the thing with [00:28:26] the end the month the election is on the 15th do you [00:28:29] take public funds not appropriated? [00:28:34] now now we've touched the legal angle of it, we've heard EFC side, you give us point, [00:28:38] let us go to now [00:28:39] the the political side of it, the ADC is chiming in and they are putting their [00:28:43] lawyers behind this, ADC lawyers, let's go over to the vanguard newspaper, the ADC lawyers [00:28:47] in the builline says they slam EFCC, they're calling for [00:28:51] adherence to due process, to think that the ADC is supporting [00:28:54] um a way the accord party, [00:28:57] what is the politics behind that, oh look and [00:29:01] then and then say that [00:29:02] it is political terrorism um is [00:29:06] attempt attempt to aid APC when you know [00:29:10] when people have um how do i put it when they have a high [00:29:14] tolerance for corruption they would not see what is wrong [00:29:17] with a governor dipping his zan into the wallet and giving money [00:29:21] out which has not been appropriated for that purpose you know [00:29:24] because everything show me allegedly because we didn't [00:29:27] see allegedly well allegations the fact the [00:29:31] matter is um adc and accord party are inbed [00:29:35] together, absolutely b the same ferther flock together, but [00:29:38] quickly with the people of Aushen State Madeia will be done, and honestly speaking, I want an [00:29:42] election devoid of violence, buse the way is going, I just hope we don't record any violence in that [00:29:46] election, absolutely, same line of thinking on the guardian, the observer times and the this [00:29:50] Nigeria as well as the Nigerian news direct will be following this [00:29:53] story very closely, and I urge everybody to open your your mind to the parallels the [00:29:57] EFCC, Adelk, the APC and now the ADC, let's move [00:30:01] on, new telegraph paper, Mr. Shomi, the presidency knows [00:30:05] Catholic bishop bishops mirrored our current realities, this is being [00:30:09] said by Professor Sagei, the senior senior advocate of Nigeria and an author [00:30:13] a very learned man. What do you make of this? remember there was that whole [00:30:17] bruhaha if you will, what do you make of it? yeah uh we do [00:30:20] respect to professor Sesage, the truth the matter is [00:30:24] um uh we should not forget that we all know what [00:30:27] happened uh we knew what happened at the last election 2023 and the [00:30:31] roles and and steps taken by some uh fait [00:30:35] in the country and then realizing that of course [00:30:39] the president is not um you know is secular in his [00:30:43] perspective in handling issues in the country and then [00:30:47] you now go to the president and then you raising some issues what do you expect the [00:30:51] president to say to you the president gave the b of [00:30:55] religious standing does not automatically mean i must take your [00:30:58] recommendation.
