00:06:09This is where the Moroccan human cherished

00:06:21the rich human culture that has been enhanced and grown
00:06:24within the Moroccan nation, side by
00:06:26side with the symbolism
00:06:29the Moroccan popular imagination.
00:06:32It is a bond that has combined
00:06:35history and also contributed to the development and advancement
00:06:39of professions in the equestrian sector in Morocco, including
00:06:42aspects related to industry, scientific
00:06:45and veterinary research, and services.
00:06:48The exhibition provides a platform for essential exchange among
00:06:51various stakeholders in the equestrian sector, in a remarkable
00:06:54interconnectedness that brings together distant
00:06:57specialties: sports with art, industry
00:07:01with traditional heritage, and passion
00:07:03with globalism. The El Jadida exhibition is
00:07:07a window that opens to traditional crafts
00:07:11that have literally documented history
00:07:14through the intertwining of threads, the harmony of symbols, and the unique
00:07:17genius of the Moroccan craftsman, who is naturally passionate
00:07:20about horses. There is a special attraction to the halls of Moroccan
00:07:24crafts, which found their essence hundreds of years ago
00:07:27in the details and intricacies of the horse, creating with this
00:07:30heritage artistic masterpieces that honor
00:07:33the rider and the horse, and all those interconnected
00:07:36elements between the two entities. His Royal Highness Crown Prince
00:07:40Moulay Hassan also visited the halls of exhibitors representing various regions of the Kingdom, in what resembles a mosaic of identity
00:07:47and difference that simultaneously creates the richness of the Moroccan
00:07:50cultural heritage, which has nurtured epic tales of
00:07:53knights and horses
00:07:57that embody a work of art with all the colors of beauty
00:07:59and uniqueness highlighted by the Moroccan
00:08:03craftsman's skill. The exhibition provides visitors with an overview of
00:08:05various specialties related to horse
00:08:09breeding, care, and maintenance
00:08:12of various purebreds, as well as the development of
00:08:16equestrian skills and associated traditional
00:08:19arts, which reinforces for
00:08:22visitors the extent of Moroccans' attachment
00:08:25and passion for horses as a symbol of courage,
00:08:29love of belonging, and perhaps that is what led UNESCO,
00:08:33an agency of the United Nations, to classify the traditional equestrian
00:08:36art of Tbourida as an intangible global heritage
00:08:39for humanity. His Royal Highness Crown Prince
00:08:43Moulay Hassan visited the children's space, where a significant
00:08:47area is dedicated to this age group so that
00:08:51they can learn about the particularity of this
00:08:54cultural heritage in an atmosphere full

00:11:33This included, in particular, a display by the Carousel
00:11:36Troupe of the Auxiliary Forces. Here,
00:11:39military discipline enhances the elegance of artistic control
00:11:43and provides these tableaux with fertile ground for brilliance
00:11:46and liberation from anything that might hinder
00:11:50the horse and its rider from
00:11:52creativity.
00:14:33His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Hassan also watched
00:14:36artistic performances by various Moroccan
00:14:39and foreign artistic troupes. This year, the stage was opened
00:14:43to diverse performances that reached the highest levels
00:14:46of artistic refinement through renowned trainers, riders, and artists
00:14:49who tamed horses and used music
00:14:53and lighting as reins to guide the horses towards
00:14:56crafting epic stories that lead
00:14:59the viewer's imagination to many images
00:15:03of the emotional connection between the horse and its rider.
00:15:37The performances continued through many segments in which professional
00:15:41artists evoked the symbolism of the horse as an icon of loyalty
00:15:45and chivalry, immortalizing the features of history and the brilliance of the future.
00:15:48ملامح التاريخ واشراقات المستقبل.
00:16:34And at the end of the artistic performances, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Hassan watched performances of traditional
00:16:40horsemanship, Tbourida.
00:16:42التبورده
00:16:49A salute
00:16:54that included various regions of the Kingdom, where the ways of
00:16:58this art multiply and the styles, traditional
00:17:01costumes, and movements vary in quality and quantity
00:17:05from one geographical region to another.
00:17:46And after the end of the performances of traditional horsemanship, Tbourida,
00:17:49which were presented by 18 troupes from
00:17:53various regions of the Kingdom, His Royal Highness Crown Prince
00:17:56Moulay Hassan took commemorative photos with the leaders
00:18:00of the troupes before His Royal Highness Crown Prince
00:18:03Moulay Hassan left the Mohammed VI Exhibition Center.
00:18:20After two rounds of political consultations led by the appointed Head of Government,
00:18:24Fatima Zahra Mansouri, an agreement was reached on a political
00:18:28majority consisting of the Authenticity and Modernity,
00:18:31Istiqlal, and Socialist Union of Popular Forces parties
00:18:34and the Progressive and Socialist Party. The details are in the statement
00:18:38issued by the government
00:18:39majority.
00:18:42Immediately after His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect him
00:18:45and grant him victory, appointed Mrs.
00:18:49Fatima Zahra Mansouri as the national leader of the collective
00:18:52secretariat of the Authenticity and Modernity Party,
00:18:56which topped the elections,
00:18:58as the Head of the new Government and tasked
00:19:01with forming it,
00:19:05the Constitution, she began a wide political consultation
00:19:08process with a number of parties
00:19:11represented in Parliament, starting with discussing the various challenges
00:19:15and constraints facing our country
00:19:18and ending with the formation of a strong
00:19:21and cohesive political majority, aware of the magnitude
00:19:24of the complex internal challenges and the multiple external constraints,
00:19:30to the expectations of citizens in providing decent living
00:19:33conditions, strengthening freedoms and rights,
00:19:37achieving social justice and spatial
00:19:40equity, and promoting economic prosperity.
00:19:43Thus, and after two rounds of initial
00:19:47political consultations led by the appointed Head of Government,
00:19:51during which she considered the higher interest of the country, the national
00:19:54and international context, and also the popular will expressed
00:19:58during the legislative elections of last September 23rd,
00:20:02which resulted in the appointment of a female Head of Government
00:20:06for the first time, which constituted a historic
00:20:08and unprecedented event in our democratic path,
00:20:11with strong significant implications. And after noting
00:20:15the high spirit of national responsibility and deep
00:20:18political awareness of the magnitude of the challenges
00:20:22and stakes of this crucial moment, and after considering the precision
00:20:25and requirements of the political and democratic phase
00:20:29our country is currently experiencing, and after careful
00:20:32consideration of previous government experiences,
00:20:35it was decided to form a cohesive
00:20:39political majority that will produce a strong
00:20:42political government composed of political
00:20:45components characterized by intellectual and political
00:20:49convergence, and united by a reformist vision
00:20:53and committed to it. A governmental majority that
00:20:56will support the ambition of His Majesty, may God protect him, in building
00:20:59a rising Morocco that moves at a single pace on
00:21:03the basis of consolidating the foundations of democratic construction, good
00:21:06governance, social justice, spatial
00:21:09equity, and strengthening the productive capacities
00:21:12of the national economy. In this context, an agreement was reached on
00:21:16a political majority consisting of
00:21:18the Authenticity and Modernity, Istiqlal,
00:21:22the Socialist Union of Popular Forces, and the Progressive and Socialist
00:21:26parties. On that basis, the four political parties
00:21:29forming the new government majority
00:21:32will propose the names of ministers
00:21:36who possess competence, political acumen, integrity,
00:21:39and rectitude. A cohesive and strong
00:21:43government capable of implementing the provisions of the government program, which
00:21:47will be prepared as soon as possible.
00:21:51For more clarifications, we are joined live from the headquarters of the Authenticity and Modernity Party
00:21:54in Rabat by our colleague Yasser El Amrani. Yasser, welcome. So,
00:21:58after a long wait and great anticipation, the new
00:22:01government majority is officially announced,
00:22:04removing all doubt. A political majority with
00:22:08a four-party alliance: the Authenticity and Modernity Party with the parties of the Bloc,
00:22:11Istiqlal, the Socialist Union of Popular Forces, and the Progressive
00:22:15and Socialist Party. What information or what information was highlighted
00:22:20this day, leading to the announcement of this majority
00:22:24a little while ago in an official statement,
00:22:25Yasser?
00:22:30So, Mariam, good evening. We can describe this day
00:22:34as a marathon day. And as expected,
00:22:37the statement of the government
00:22:41and political majority that will lead
00:22:44the government during the next five years
00:22:48was announced. As expected,
00:22:51without any surprises, four parties
00:22:55will form this majority. The first of course is the Authenticity
00:22:59and Modernity Party, which topped the September 23rd
00:23:02elections, and it participates with 97
00:23:06seats. It is followed by the Istiqlal Party with
00:23:0965 seats. Also,
00:23:12the Socialist Union of Popular Forces participates
00:23:15with 26 seats.
00:23:18The fourth party is the Progressive and Socialist Party
00:23:21with 19 seats. This
00:23:26had announced, before the issuance of this statement,
00:23:29its effective participation in the government.
00:23:32So this majority
00:23:35will give us a parliamentary majority
00:23:38with a number of 207
00:23:41seats out of 395
00:23:45seats, which is the total number of seats composing
00:23:49the parliament. Now, after
00:23:53the formation of the political majority,
00:23:58that a number of names
00:24:01of ministers will be proposed.
00:24:05to whom the task of activating
00:24:08and implementing the government program will be entrusted, which in turn
00:24:12is expected to be announced at a specific
00:24:15time later,
00:24:18Mariam. Yasser, how did
00:24:21you observe the various details and final arrangements
00:24:25for the announcement of the majority, which confirmed all the readings,
00:24:28conjectures, and prior leaks regarding the direction of a four-party
00:24:32alliance between the Authenticity and Modernity
00:24:34Party and the Bloc parties?
00:24:40So, Mariam, the first thing to note is
00:24:44the presence of media outlets in all
00:24:47their forms and colors,
00:24:50which closely followed
00:24:54and its implications, as you mentioned. Throughout
00:24:58parties were discussed, and in the end,
00:25:01that is what happened, without
00:25:05any surprise. So, the four parties
00:25:07are the ones that will lead the next government
00:25:13years. Now, after this day dedicated
00:25:16to the political majority, tomorrow, Tuesday,
00:25:20attention will turn to the House of Representatives
00:25:23at around three o'clock in the afternoon. A new
00:25:26speaker for this council will be
00:25:30elected, and it is also an important and decisive
00:25:33political station because it will provide
00:25:36insights into political agreements
00:25:40between parties and also concerning
00:25:43the distribution of legislative
00:25:46positions for the next
00:25:49term. So, Mariam, a government composed
00:25:52of four parties was described in the statement
00:25:57as a cohesive political majority
00:26:00capable of leading a strong
00:26:04government for the next five years. Mariam, thank you very much,
00:26:08colleague Yasser El Amrani. You were with us live from Rabat, from the headquarters of the Authenticity
00:26:11and Modernity Party.
00:26:15this political decision, of course, with our guest in the studio,
00:26:18Dr. Badr El Zaher El Azraq, Professor of Business Law and Economics at Hassan II University
00:26:22in Casablanca. Good evening. Good evening. Welcome.
00:26:25We have long awaited this government majority,
00:26:29after consultations continued for two rounds.
00:26:32Today, or a little while ago, a government majority comprising four parties was announced:
00:26:36the Authenticity and Modernity Party and the Bloc parties. What is your political
00:26:39reading of this formation, and what does it reveal about the trends in reshaping
00:26:43the party landscape, after the elections of
00:26:46September 23rd? In fact, today, this four-party
00:26:49formation is what was announced based on the scenarios that were previously predicted. The first
00:26:53scenario was the National Rally of Independents. Today, the second scenario
00:26:56was adopted, which includes a majority of the parties of the Democratic
00:26:59Bloc. Today, we have the Authenticity and Modernity Party, which is a relatively
00:27:03new party compared to the rest of the parties forming the Democratic
00:27:07Bloc. It will lead this bloc. We are facing parties
00:27:10that have accumulated a history of struggle
00:27:14of governmental work and parliamentary work in opposition as well.
00:27:18There is great experience that will be added to the new one that the Authenticity
00:27:22and Modernity Party will inject, which has also accumulated experience at the level of governmental
00:27:25work and opposition. So today, we are facing a new formation,
00:27:28two parties from the previous government, and two parties
00:27:32also from those who have experienced opposition and those who have also experienced governmental
00:27:36work. So today, the vision will not be entirely clear
00:27:39regarding these parties until after the government
00:27:43program is drafted and after the ministerial portfolios
00:27:46are distributed, because today we are facing parties
00:27:50with seemingly convergent and somewhat different backgrounds.
00:27:53Most of them belong to the modernist current, and the Istiqlal
00:27:57Party also has a conservative background. A great
00:27:59discussion will revolve around priorities, and I
00:28:05significant regarding priorities, as they will focus on the basic concerns of Moroccan
00:28:08citizens, primarily employment, development, economic transition,
00:28:12and also addressing the decline in purchasing power
00:28:15of citizens in recent years and working to restore it. So,
