00:00:38Hello everyone, this is CCTV News Channel. At 5 p.m., the news
00:00:42live broadcast will continue to bring you news. The spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce said today
00:00:45that China and Europe have reached a consensus on hybrid electric vehicles. When answering a reporter's question, he said that China and Europe
00:00:49have continued dialogue under the trade and investment consultation mechanism, and have reached a multi-directional consensus, which is conducive to maintaining
00:00:53stable and balanced key trade relations between China and Europe. Regarding
00:00:57hybrid vehicles, both sides emphasized and confirmed
00:01:00three basic principles. First,
00:01:03respect the facts. According to Eurostat data,
00:01:07in 2024, the EU imported 107,000 hybrid vehicles from China,
00:01:11and 302,000 in 2025. Both sides reached an upward arrangement on the basis of 2025
00:01:15to ensure the export space and stable growth of Chinese enterprises.
00:01:19This takes into account the reasonable concerns of both industries based on reality.
00:01:22Second, non-discriminatory,
00:01:26any measures will not be specifically targeted.
00:02:00Since this year, Hohhot, China Railway Group Limited has continuously optimized the transportation organization model at Erenhot railway port
00:02:04and improved customs clearance efficiency, achieving steady growth in import and export volume.
00:02:07As of yesterday, the annual import and export volume reached
00:02:1115.0143 million tons,
00:02:12a 7.3% increase
00:02:17year-on-year, breaking through 15 million tons
00:02:21。
00:02:23Since this year, the railway department has optimized the integrated transportation organization model
00:02:27between Erenhot Station and Mongolia's Zamin-Uud Station. It promptly communicated
00:02:31information such as the structure of traffic flow, occupied storage, and goods on both sides, comprehensively improving
00:02:34the service guarantee capability for cross-border freight transportation. Multiple departments such as railway,
00:02:38customs, and border inspection have closely collaborated and efficiently connected
00:02:42to achieve information interconnection, significantly improving port customs clearance
00:02:46efficiency and overall service level. We further optimized
00:02:50the operation processes such as gauge change connection, cargo transshipment, and train marshalling.
00:02:54We dynamically adjusted the transportation plan, compressed
00:02:57the vehicle dwell time, and achieved this.
00:05:12The supervision process of five inspection units, including Shenzhen Customs, Shenzhen Border Inspection, and Hong Kong Customs,
00:05:16was integrated. Through intelligent all-in-one machines,
00:05:20vehicle documents and other information were collected once.
00:05:22,
00:05:25This realized simultaneous joint verification of data from five parties, optimizing the traditional two-step inspection process into one stop,
00:05:29one inspection, and a systematic inspection.
00:05:33The new Huanggang Port, which significantly improved customs clearance efficiency, is the largest single port building in China.
00:05:36The port is divided into four underground floors and five above-ground floors, with a total construction area
00:05:40of 689,700 square meters.
00:05:42It is also the world's largest land port complex, planned to be a junction for five
00:05:46railway lines.
00:05:50Its predecessor was Huanggang Port, which was the first large-scale land port
00:05:54It was opened in 1989
00:05:58and reconstruction at its original site began in 2019.
00:06:01Early this morning, the continuous beam of the four-track bridge at Leye Station
00:06:05of the newly built Guizhou-Baise Railway in Guangxi
00:06:08achieving span closure and connection. This marks the completion of the Huangbai Railway.
00:06:42At 160 kilometers, it is a landmark project of the new western land-sea corridor,
00:06:46and is expected to be fully completed and open to traffic in 2028.
00:06:49。
00:06:54Bulk cargo from the Sichuan-Chongqing region will go south via the Huangbai Railway,
00:06:58then transfer to the Pinglu Canal and Baise Port to reach
00:07:02the sea. This can shorten transport distances and improve
00:07:05turnaround efficiency. For high-level joint construction of the new western land-sea corridor
00:07:09and promoting coordinated regional economic and social development.
00:07:55China has always opposed attacks targeting civilians and civilian facilities. We call on all parties concerned to avoid actions that lead to escalating regional tensions, and to resolve disputes and differences
00:07:59through dialogue and negotiation, and achieve peace and stability
00:08:02in the region as soon as possible.
00:08:05On the 10th, Saudi Arabia said that Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport was attacked by Yemeni Houthi armed forces, causing significant
00:08:09casualties. Local time on the 11th, Saudi Arabia said that Yemeni
00:08:13Houthi armed forces launched another attack on the airport. Local time
00:08:16on the 12th, the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation issued a statement saying that the attack caused one death
00:08:20and 11 injuries. The injured have been immediately sent to the hospital
00:08:24for treatment.
00:08:28The Saudi-led coalition said on the 11th that Terminal 4 of Riyadh's King Khalid
00:08:32International Airport was attacked that day and caused
00:08:36a fire. Saudi air defense forces also
00:08:39Their representatives were unable to attend the meeting. According to the Financial Times of the UK,
00:10:43the CEOs of ExxonMobil, TotalEnergies of France, and
00:10:47Shell of the UK also chose to withdraw from the meeting.
00:10:51The Saudi Ministry of Energy said: "The ministerial meeting
00:10:55of the International Energy Forum, an intergovernmental non-profit organization, was held in Riyadh on the same day.
00:10:59It is not yet clear which countries sent ministers to attend."
00:11:02The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation said on social media
00:11:06on the evening of the 11th that King Fahd International Airport
00:11:10in Dammam, a city in eastern Saudi Arabia, was attacked that night.
00:11:14The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation said that attacks against Saudi civil aviation
00:11:17are still ongoing. Relevant departments are coordinating loss assessment
00:11:21and aviation facility safety inspections.
00:11:25The Yemeni Houthi armed forces attacked Saudi airports again, and in the past week, the Houthi armed forces
00:11:29have repeatedly attacked Saudi airports and other civilian facilities. What does this mean?
00:11:33Let's look at the analysis of Qin Tian, Deputy Director of the Middle East Studies Institute of China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations.
00:11:37所 副 所 长 秦 天 的 分 析
00:11:39The Houthi armed forces have recently attacked Saudi Arabia's
00:11:41key technical facilities multiple times, especially Saudi Arabia's airports. I think this phenomenon
00:11:45factors behind it. First,
00:11:49it is related to the battlefield in Yemen in the recent period.
00:11:53上 的 近 一 段 时 间 的 战 场 。
00:12:21This is a very important strategic goal for the Houthis to control the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandeb Strait.
00:12:55an arrangement, but this has not led to a permanent peace
00:12:58prospect. Thus, Saudi Arabia and the Houthi armed forces are still in a state of cold peace.
00:13:02What the Houthis demanded Saudi Arabia
00:13:06the air and sea blockade of the Houthi-controlled areas, Saudi Arabia has not done.
00:13:10So this time the Houthi armed forces are escalating their retaliation against Saudi Arabia,
00:13:14starting from shipping, then to oil facilities,
00:13:17and now to airports.
00:13:18。
00:13:22Thirdly, I think these attacks by the Houthis also have the intention to cooperate with Iran. Although
00:13:28it is impossible to accurately know whether Iran and the Houthi armed forces had subjective cooperation in this wave of attacks on Saudi Arabia,
00:13:32objectively, this wave of attacks helped
00:13:36Iran. So Iran has recently been hoping to force
00:13:40the United States to agree to Iran's
00:13:43But we have seen that Iran's card of
00:13:47has opened the Strait.
00:13:51After opening a new front in Yemen

00:14:09it allows Iran to

00:14:26Last night, the China Open concluded at the National Tennis Center. Chinese
00:14:30player Zheng Qinwen defeated Russian star Liudmila Samsonova 2-0

00:14:38of the China Open. Also last night, the WTT China Grand Slam
00:14:41concluded at Beijing Shougang Park. Wang Manyu swept Japanese
00:14:45player 4-0 to win the championship. The two major events
00:14:49attracted over 500,000 spectators, setting a new historical high.
00:14:53Outside the venues, two top-tier events.
00:15:06The WTT China Grand Slam
00:15:09officially kicked off in Beijing during the National Day holiday, and the popularity of the event continued to rise.
00:15:13This year, Shougang Park in Beijing launched an outdoor viewing area of over 10,000 square meters.
00:15:17Relying on the unique style of the Big Air and other Winter Olympics venues,
00:15:21it created an exclusive photo backdrop for fans. At the same time,
00:15:25more than 80 cultural and creative products incorporating Beijing landmarks and Olympic elements
00:15:28were launched online and offline
00:15:32This is the WTT's
00:15:35fan two-story eight-city.
00:17:38Different from the viewing experience inside the venue, this year, the second venues set up by various international sports events
00:17:42combined the theme of the event with the characteristics of the regional industry to create a diverse cultural and sports consumption
00:17:46ecosystem with social attributes. In addition to attracting event fans,
00:17:49it also attracted many parent-child families, local tourists, and other non-event
00:17:53groups to participate. This is the second venue of WTT, located in Shougang
00:17:57Yuan District, the Grand Slam Park.
00:18:01So in the outdoor viewing space of over 10,000 square meters,
00:18:05the live broadcast of the competition attracted.
00:18:31WTT China Grand Slam
00:18:35held player meet-and-greets at the second venue, allowing fans to interact with players up close.
00:18:52The China Open set up a sports and leisure lifestyle main venue with tennis culture as the theme in commercial complexes such as Beijing Shougang Outlet. Through live broadcasts of real-time matches,
00:18:56it extended consumers' stay time, and superimposed event-themed commercial
00:19:00scenarios. During the National Day holiday, it attracted more than 600,000 visitors,
00:19:04continuously stimulating citizens' and tourists' holiday consumption enthusiasm.
00:19:37The economic带动 effect of ticket stubs has already been seen
00:19:41in Shijingshan District, where the WTT China Grand Slam is held. During the event,
00:19:45fans can enjoy exclusive discounts at more than 260 shops,
00:19:49scenic spots, and hotels
00:19:52or official merchandise. The event's appeal, coupled with ticket
00:19:56stub discounts, has made Shougang Park, Yongding River Cultural Park, and other landmark
00:20:00spaces popular destinations. In fact, we calculate that
00:20:041 yuan drives 8 yuan of consumption.
00:21:00continuing to spread the fallacy of seeking independence abroad and attacking and slandering the mainland. In response, at
00:21:04today's regular press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
00:21:08the true status quo of the Taiwan Strait is that both sides of the strait belong to one China.
00:21:12No matter what Lai Ching-te says or does, it cannot change the historical
00:21:16and legal fact that Taiwan belongs to China.
00:21:21There is only one China in the world, Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory,
00:21:25and the government of the People's Republic of China is the sole legal government representing
00:21:28all of China. Adhering to the one-China principle, opposing "Taiwan independence"
00:21:32is the shared aspiration
00:21:36and expectation of the international community. The so-called democracy in Lai Ching-te's
00:21:40mouth cannot conceal the true nature and facts of his "Taiwan independence" and secession.
00:21:43Taiwan's return to China is a post-World War II
00:21:47。 台 湾 回 归 中 国 是 二 战 。
00:22:11it cannot stop China's eventual reunification, which is an inevitable
00:22:15trend. Today,
00:22:17the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced sanctions against Paraguay.
00:22:50Taiwan is at the core of China's core interests. Paraguayan and
00:22:54Bolivian politicians, as pawns of the Taiwan authorities
00:22:58seeking independence abroad, have visited Taiwan in succession
00:23:02and received "Taiwan independence" separatists, seriously interfering in China's
00:23:05internal affairs. They have spread false information about China's cyber attacks,
00:23:09attacked and slandered China, and caused a negative international
00:23:13impact. In response to the actions of the relevant personnel, China
00:23:17has, in accordance with the Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law of the People's Republic of China,
00:23:21issued a Ministry of Foreign Affairs order announcing countermeasures
00:23:24against them. The sanctions have already taken effect.
00:23:28Recently, after former Japanese Foreign Minister and President of the Japan-China Economic Association, Yohei Kono,
00:23:32visited China, he stated that the cause of the deterioration of China-Japan relations lies with Japan,
00:23:36and the Japanese government should find ways to improve them. There are also voices in Japan
00:23:40criticizing that the practice of evading historical responsibility has led Japan's policy towards China astray,
00:23:44calling on the Japanese government to face and resolve the issue.
00:23:47To promote the return of China-Japan relations to the right track, the initiative lies with Japan. We urge the Japanese authorities to listen to and attach importance to the voice of justice within Japan.
00:23:56These statements reflect the rationality and
00:24:00conscience of insightful people in Japan, and China commends them.
00:24:03As they said,
00:24:05the root cause and essence of the problem lies in the historical views of the Japanese
00:24:09authorities, and China's official
00:24:13所 说 , 问 题 的 根 源 和 实 质 在 于 日 本
00:24:17To promote the return of China-Japan relations to the right track,
00:24:31the initiative, of course, also lies with Japan. We urge the Japanese authorities
00:24:35to listen to and attach importance to the voice of justice within Japan,
00:24:39face the root cause of the problem, abide by the four political documents between China and Japan,
00:24:43and properly handle issues such as Taiwan, history, and cognitive differences towards China.
00:24:46Recently, Japanese media reported that the Japanese
00:24:53government plans to revise the three security documents within this year, considering including discussions on
00:24:57the Self-Defense Forces introducing nuclear-powered submarines. Regarding the Japanese government's move to revise
00:25:01the Three Non-Nuclear Principles, some Japanese scholars believe that the Japanese government
00:25:04is trying to gradually reduce the public's sensitivity to the nuclear weapons issue,
00:25:08paving the way for further discussions on nuclear weapons-related issues.

00:25:20"I think they are doing this to eliminate it. However,
00:25:23this means that there is still a taboo in Japan. If Japan were to actually possess nuclear weapons,
00:25:27share nuclear weapons, or change the three non-nuclear principles
00:25:30to no longer exist, and if they were to go that far,
00:25:34I think the public's opposition would be quite strong."

00:25:48"Japan's post-war
00:26:02peace was
00:26:06achieved because in World War II,
00:26:09Japan committed extremely cruel acts against China
00:26:12and other countries through aggression. Japan must uphold the three non-nuclear principles.
00:26:16If Japan were to possess nuclear weapons or in any way
00:26:20share them, and nuclear weapons were to openly
00:26:24exist in Japan,

00:26:31According to Iranian media reports on the 11th,
00:26:51the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Ali Shamkhani, said in an interview
00:26:55that Iran had put forward seven conditions to the United States, and the United States had accepted some of them,
00:26:59but Iran believed that the US side's current response was insufficient.
00:27:06In the interview broadcast on Iran's Press TV on the 11th, Shamkhani elaborated on the recent communication
00:27:10between Iran and the US, stating that after contact with the US through three different channels
00:27:14in Pakistan, Qatar, and Iraq, Iran put forward seven conditions to the US,
00:27:17and clearly informed the US that unless these conditions were met,
00:27:21it would not open the Strait of Hormuz to them, nor would it
00:27:25conduct any negotiations. The US has accepted some of them.
00:27:29Iran will continue to control the management of the Strait of Hormuz. Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps released a video
00:28:23saying that a rogue super yacht
00:28:27hit a mine in the waters south of the Strait of Hormuz.
00:28:31The naval force of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps
00:28:37stated in a statement that the ship, carrying crude oil,
00:28:41attempted to leave the Strait of Hormuz
00:28:45The incident occurred because the yacht violated
00:28:49shipping lane regulations and entered an unauthorized route. The statement also
00:28:52said that since the 10th, several rogue oil tankers have caught fire
00:28:56in unauthorized routes in the Strait of Hormuz.
00:29:00The statement warned that any vessel that turns off its navigation
00:29:04and identification systems in the Strait of Hormuz
00:29:08Late on the 11th,
00:29:11Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps once again
00:29:15The video caption stated that the yacht, carrying
00:29:19750,000 barrels of crude oil, ignored the warning from the Revolutionary Guard
00:29:23Corps Navy, and while attempting to pass through an unauthorized route,
00:29:26hit a mine, exploded, and caught fire.
00:29:30Let's look at
00:30:05The center was also attacked by drones. The Russian Ministry of Defense said on the 11th that the Russian army used drones that day to attack a logistics
00:30:08center in Mykolaiv Oblast, Ukraine, which stored goods for the Ukrainian army.
00:30:12They also attacked a cargo ship carrying military supplies
00:30:16sailing to a Ukrainian port. US President
00:30:20Trump said on the 11th that the Russia-Ukraine conflict has entered an energy ceasefire state.
00:30:24Ukrainian President Zelensky responded that day, saying that
00:30:27Ukraine supports the energy ceasefire announced by Trump, and expects Russia to
00:30:31also support this arrangement.
00:30:33Trump posted on social media that day,
00:30:36saying that both Russia and Ukraine have agreed to this. He warned
00:30:39against breaking this ceasefire promise. Zelensky said that day
00:30:43that Ukraine supports a practical, viable, and reliable ceasefire and
00:30:47not to attack Russian energy facilities,
00:30:51and expects Russia to take the same action. He said
00:30:55that Trump has announced an energy ceasefire arrangement.
00:30:59It is hoped that this arrangement can be truly
00:31:02implemented. Currently, Russia has not yet responded to Trump's statement.

00:32:58believed that the defendant Hu Youtao's actions constituted the crime of accepting bribes.
00:33:02Hu Youtao's bribery amount was particularly large and should be punished

00:38:27The latest news from the US National Hurricane Center shows that although Hurricane Simon continues
00:38:31to weaken, its intensity will remain at hurricane level in the next few days.
00:38:35It is expected that in the next few days, Simon will cause heavy rainfall in some parts of southwestern
00:38:39and central-western Mexico, which will exacerbate the risk of local floods
00:38:43and mudslides. Some coastal areas of Mexico may also experience
00:38:46dangerous storm surges and destructive waves.

00:39:00The largest airport, Tocumen International Airport in Panama City, was temporarily closed and then gradually resumed operations. Affected by frequent aftershocks, some flights were still cancelled or delayed, and some tourists were stranded at the airport.

00:39:11I am now at Tocumen International Airport in Panama City. As
00:39:15the hub airport of Latin America, I have seen that the number of passengers here
00:39:19has indeed decreased compared to usual. Due to frequent aftershocks after the earthquake,
00:39:23many airlines have also reduced the number of flights.
00:39:26Here, you can also see the phenomenon of flight delays.
00:39:30So how frequent are the aftershocks? I currently see a number
00:39:34that within 45 hours after the major earthquake on the 9th,
00:39:37the University of Panama monitored over 250 aftershocks,
00:39:41four of which were over magnitude 6. Currently,
00:39:45Copa Airlines, which is based at Tocumen International Airport,
00:39:49has been most affected, with many flights to multiple destinations
00:39:53being canceled or delayed.
00:39:56。
00:40:35At the airport we can't leave because it's illegal to leave, we can't leave
00:40:39to look for food, we can't leave to look for a place to
00:40:42rest, so it has been a bit
00:40:46difficult to have to sleep here,
00:40:49right now we are freezing cold,
00:40:53so yes it has been a bit tiring, difficult,
00:40:56stressful.

00:41:33Local time on the 10th, Palestinian villagers
00:41:37harvesting olives in the West Bank were
00:41:42attacked by Israeli soldiers and Jewish settlers. The Palestinian side said that many people were injured, and a reporter
00:41:46was also shot while reporting on the incident. Olive cultivation
00:41:50and olive oil production have always been the main source of income for local Palestinian farmers.
00:41:54With the arrival of the olive harvest season, the frequency of attacks by the Israeli army
00:41:58and Jewish settlers has also increased. Bloomberg recently reported
00:42:01that due to the US-Iran military strike against Iran, the freight rates for supertankers
00:42:05have risen to a 60-year high.

00:43:19Recently, a 56-year-old woman in Chengdu, Sichuan, was admitted to the hospital
00:43:22for recurrent right upper abdominal pain. She was diagnosed with gallbladder stones
00:43:26with acute cholecystitis and transferred to West China Hospital of Sichuan University.
00:43:30During the surgery, doctors actually removed more than 270 stones
00:43:33from her gallbladder. So, does more stones mean
00:43:37more severe condition? Let's listen.
00:46:40Quite a lot. We say that a single gallstone in our gallbladder looks especially like a full moon
00:46:43in the gallbladder. Because its surface is calcified, it's very bright.
00:46:47It's a relatively typical gallstone. For multiple gallstones, you can clearly see them one by one
00:46:51like pearls.

00:50:20Recently, in the waters near the Jingjiang
00:50:55Music Flower Sea Park in the Jiangsu section of the Yangtze River,
00:50:59Yangtze River porpoise protection volunteers captured
00:51:02precious footage of nine porpoises swimming in a group.
00:51:06。
00:51:08Yangtze River porpoise protection volunteers, during their daily patrol and observation
00:51:12at Jingjiang Music Flower Sea Park, discovered nine porpoises
00:51:15appearing together in the waters near the riverbank. Their round figures
00:51:19glided through the clear waves, creating agile curves. "Before, when we observed porpoises in the Jingjiang section,
00:51:23we were already very happy if we could photograph two or three. Later, we could gradually photograph four or five,
00:51:27five or six. To suddenly photograph nine porpoises together,
00:51:30I was very excited at the time. This change
00:51:34is not accidental, it is the result of years of accumulation after fishing was banned.
00:51:38The water is good, there are more fish, and the porpoises naturally returned."
00:51:41According to the latest statistics, 42 porpoises were monitored in the Jingjiang section of the Yangtze River,
00:51:45in stable habitats and activity ranges.
