00:00:31Good evening, everyone. Good evening. Today is Monday,
00:00:35October 12th. Welcome to Xinwen Lianbo.
00:00:39First, I will introduce the main content of today's program. Xi
00:00:42Jinping and the Governor-General of Papua New Guinea sent congratulatory messages on
00:00:46the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Papua New Guinea. Li Qiang and the Prime Minister of Papua
00:00:50New Guinea sent congratulatory messages. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,
00:00:54the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has placed safeguarding the health
00:00:58of the people in a more
00:01:00prominent position and made major decisions and deployments to comprehensively promote the construction
00:01:03of a healthy China, which has led to historical changes in China's health
00:01:07and health undertakings and achieved historical achievements. The series of reports
00:01:11on new ideas leading a new journey broadcast today focus on building a
00:01:15healthy China centered on the people. Li
00:01:19Qiang met with the Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam. Zhao Leji held
00:01:22talks with the Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam and co-chaired the second
00:01:26meeting of the joint committee of legislative bodies of China and Vietnam.
00:02:01According to our reporter, on October 12th, President Xi
00:02:05Jinping and Governor-General Dadae of the Independent State of Papua
00:02:08New Guinea sent congratulatory messages on the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic
00:02:12relations between the two countries. Xi Jinping pointed out that Papua New Guinea
00:02:16is a good friend, good partner, and good brother of China in
00:02:19the Pacific island countries. In the half century since the establishment of diplomatic
00:02:23relations between the two countries, political mutual trust has continuously deepened, mutually beneficial
00:02:27cooperation has yielded fruitful results, and people-to-people exchanges have flourished, leading
00:02:31to rapid development of bilateral relations. This has not only benefited the people of the
00:02:34two countries but also injected strong impetus into the building of a
00:02:38China-Pacific Island Countries community with a shared future. Xi Jinping emphasized that I
00:02:42attach great importance to the development of China-Papua New Guinea relations and am
00:02:46willing to work with Governor-General Dadae to take the 50th anniversary of the establishment of
00:02:50diplomatic relations as an opportunity to continue traditional friendship, strengthen exchanges
00:02:53and cooperation in various fields, and guide the China-Papua New Guinea comprehensive
00:02:57strategic partnership to a new level, better benefiting the people of the two
00:03:18countries. On the same day, Premier Li Qiang and Prime Minister Marape
00:03:22of Papua New Guinea sent congratulatory messages. Li Qiang said that China
00:03:26is willing to work with Papua New Guinea to take the 50th anniversary of
00:03:30the establishment of diplomatic relations as an opportunity to accelerate the promotion of high-quality
00:03:34Belt and Road cooperation and promote the continuous development of the China-Papua New Guinea
00:03:37comprehensive strategic partnership. Marape said that the Papua New Guinea government highly
00:03:41appreciates China's significant contributions to Papua New Guinea's economic and social
00:03:45development. Papua New Guinea will continue to adhere to the long-standing
00:03:49one-China principle and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation with China in various
00:03:53fields to promote the continuous development of the comprehensive strategic
00:03:56partnership between the two sides. Since the 18th National Congress of
00:04:10the Communist Party of China, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has placed safeguarding the people's health in a more prominent position. From the overall development of the Party
00:04:13and the country, and from the perspective of the sustainable development of the
00:04:17Chinese nation, it has made major decisions and deployments to comprehensively
00:04:21promote the construction of a healthy China, leading to historical changes and achievements
00:04:25in China's health and health undertakings, laying a solid foundation for the
00:04:28glorious dream of national rejuvenation. A set of striking data records
00:04:32the historical achievements in the construction of a healthy China. More than
00:04:361.1 million medical and health institutions and more than
00:04:3916 million medical and health personnel are spread across urban and rural
00:04:43areas, with over 90% of residents able to reach the
00:04:46nearest medical service point within 15 minutes. Four major systems, including medical
00:04:50services, traditional medicine, disease prevention and control, and medical security, have
00:04:54built the world's largest health care network for the people.
00:04:58By 2025, China's average life expectancy will increase to
00:05:0279.25 years. Major health indicators will rank among
00:05:05the forefront of middle and high-income countries with a population of over
00:05:08100 million. Faced with such complex national conditions as
00:05:19large-scale urban and rural population, existing disparities, and accelerating aging, the people's health has always been a deep concern
00:05:23of General Secretary Xi Jinping. To solve the prominent problems of difficulty in seeing a doctor and seeking
00:05:26medical treatment for grassroots people, the General Secretary has investigated
00:05:30and studied throughout the country. From the first proposal to promote the
00:05:34construction of a healthy China at the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th
00:05:37CPC Central Committee to the National Health and Health Conference in 2016,
00:05:41which emphasized focusing on the grassroots,
00:06:00driven by reform and innovation, and prevention as the core, we must firmly adhere to the people-centered position. General
00:06:04Secretary Xi Jinping's series of important discourses on a healthy China have
00:06:08continuously responded to the people's health expectations at different historical stages,
00:06:11demonstrating the value of people first, life first.
00:07:12They always used to go to big cities, but now they can save
00:07:16time and money at their doorstep. At present, 2,199
00:07:20counties across the country are building close-knit county medical communities,
00:07:23basically achieving full coverage. By 2025, more than 70,000
00:07:27doctors from higher-level hospitals nationwide will go to township health centers
00:07:31and community health service centers to provide services to the grassroots,
00:07:35totaling 330 million person-times. High medical costs used to be
00:07:39a heavy burden on many families.
00:08:27From focusing on treating diseases to focusing on people's health,
00:08:30early detection and treatment of chronic diseases and cancer, and continuous
00:08:34expansion of immunization plans. In response to the main health problems
00:08:38and influencing factors faced by the people, the Healthy China Special Action has been launched.
00:09:01China's health level has significantly improved, with the premature mortality rate of
00:09:05major chronic diseases decreasing to 13.8%, and the infant
00:09:09mortality rate decreasing to 3.8%.
00:09:20It has been listed by the World Health Organization as one of the healthy and highly efficient countries. Moving towards the strategic goal of building a healthy China by 2035,
00:09:24China will continue to solidify the foundation of grassroots medical and
00:09:27health care, deepen the coordinated reform of medical care, medical insurance,
00:09:31and medicine, continuously release the innovative power of medical science and
00:09:35technology, and promote the health and health undertakings to move
00:09:39steadily forward towards universal benefits, equity, and
00:09:48shared by all people. Li Qiang said that in April this year, President
00:09:52Xi Jinping and General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong held talks, which further
00:09:56clarified the direction for deepening the relations between the two parties
00:10:00and the two countries. As comrades and brothers, we are willing to
00:10:04work with Vietnam to continue traditional friendship, enhance solidarity and mutual
00:10:08trust, strengthen the alignment of development strategies, deepen cooperation in trade
00:10:12and investment, interconnectivity, artificial intelligence, clean energy, culture,
00:10:16and other fields, strengthen multilateral communication and coordination, and better benefit
00:10:19the people of the two countries. It is hoped that the legislative bodies
00:10:23of the two countries will vigorously support practical cooperation between the
00:10:27two sides and play a greater role in providing legal guarantees and
00:10:30promoting closer ties between the people. Tran Thanh Man said that
00:10:34Vietnam firmly adheres to the one-China policy and will follow
00:10:37the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two parties
00:10:41and the two countries to promote the building of a Vietnam-China community
00:10:45with a shared future at a higher level and with strategic
00:10:49significance. Wang Dongming attended the meeting.
00:10:53This station's news. Premier
00:10:59Li Qiang spoke with New Zealand Prime Minister Hipkins by phone
00:11:03on the 12th. Li Qiang said that current China-New Zealand relations
00:11:07continue to advance steadily, and cooperation in various fields continues
00:11:10to make new progress. At the same time, the international
00:11:14situation is still complex and changing, and unilateralism and protectionism continue
00:11:18to impact the world economy. China and New Zealand, as supporters
00:11:22and practitioners of multilateralism and free trade, should conduct more communication
00:11:49and coordination. Next year, China and New Zealand will celebrate the
00:11:5255th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. China is willing to work
00:11:56with New Zealand to continue traditional friendship, expand cooperation in trade,

00:13:44of the top leaders of the two parties and the two countries
00:13:48to promote the in-depth and practical construction of a China-Vietnam
00:13:52community with a shared future. The two sides should consolidate strategic
00:13:58mutual trust and firmly support each other.
00:14:02Develop economic and trade investment, infrastructure, science and technology,
00:14:06and other fields of cooperation, and strengthen people-to-people and

00:23:53system for fuel payment and invoicing, car owners can drive
00:23:57away directly after refueling, and electronic invoices are automatically
00:24:01generated and sent to their mobile phones. The entire business
