00:00:01exceptionally

00:00:34of
00:00:41and
00:00:41of they can reality now the
00:00:46of of celebrations
00:00:47of to take the corner kick, she swings it in the area
00:00:51and that's a goal for
00:00:52Nigeria, one was
00:00:56good, it's twice as nice,
00:01:00just before
00:01:03of the has helped Nigeria double
00:01:07the lead right
00:01:08here
00:01:13of anyway from home will be
00:01:14of good but for our pedigree
00:01:18and quality that we have forget about the name
00:01:21of the nation Nigeria
00:01:24a yes we play them with all respect but first
00:01:28have bar was a
00:01:32of bit, i knew at some
00:01:34a point a was
00:01:35of just amount
00:01:38of of time because the came from beginning till the end of first half and i want to
00:01:42say good
00:01:44fight, but we still show that super
00:01:47priority.

00:02:02Hello and welcome to Channel Sport on Sunday, I'm
00:02:06Ken, uh, it's one of
00:02:10those busy weeks, um, how do we say, before you come to
00:02:14this, before you come to today and look at the expectations where we're
00:02:18coming from, uh, it's where we want to look at, because it's been a
00:02:22very, very busy week, we did tell you on Sunday before
00:02:25we left, um,
00:02:28of that you know the great
00:02:29one, Lion Messi. uh will be uh playing his last match
00:02:33for Argentina uh that that was on
00:02:36Tuesday and it was against our neighbors yeah our
00:02:40closed neighbors uh Bene republic uh that
00:02:44match has come and
00:02:45of gone and right
00:02:46of now after two is it 2006 or
00:02:50208 games I mean you know uh he has called uh
00:02:54it quits scoring about 126 I
00:02:56of think 208 and 126 goals he said look no mass and want
00:03:00to concentrate on my
00:03:02of club
00:03:06of you know of activities, so but few uh uh controversies over there uh, you can take
00:03:10it at the whole world that the whole world has
00:03:13celenow celebrating and keep
00:03:15celebrating
00:03:18of messy uh the man
00:03:21of won that is more than what you have in one
00:03:25hand, your fingers in
00:03:27of one hand um the champions league countless times.
00:03:30you know
00:03:31a Cup America uh and then also won the world cup so when
00:03:35you've done that
00:03:36you know at every level it means you have accomplished and nigerians won't forget
00:03:39him at the under 20 uh where uh they
00:03:43did send us parking and with
00:03:46of lanel because win the MVP and the title too and
00:03:49also at the Olympics so he's won everything you think that is
00:03:54of winnable uh you know from the youth level you know to the op
00:03:57level we talk about it poli uh of course
00:04:01of apart from him there is also the other man uh the portuguese he
00:04:05called
00:04:06uh uh Cristiano
00:04:10of of Ronaldo and
00:04:13of it is like you know two sides of a coin because
00:04:14in a while the world the argentines you know are sending
00:04:18off Messi from the international stage uh there is that
00:04:21controversy between Cristiano Ronaldo and his national team you know
00:04:25because of you know uh being used and not being used and then
00:04:29he's walked out
00:04:30of the team because he was
00:04:31not used being asked to warm up for about 30 minutes and was
00:04:34and you substitute, he walked out
00:04:37of the team and then uh the portuguese you know uh
00:04:40football association has suspended him, but i know talks are on
00:04:44the way you to menfenses so that by november uh by the
00:04:48november uh uh you
00:04:51know uh uh mid the fifa
00:04:54fifah season then he will come back and
00:04:58be part of that team. and mean there is all it's all been there
00:05:02uh because he said look it we agreed on certain things and the manager did
00:05:06not do it after he did not use me on that
00:05:10so uh that that one is that but
00:05:12there was a bigger news,
00:05:13there was a bigger news also concerning Nigeria and the World
00:05:17Cup. I remember that we were knocked out by the R.
00:05:20Kongu uh in the during the playoffs and then it
00:05:24you the times of New York came up with a scoop and
00:05:28said yes they have seen documents showing that you
00:05:31know
00:05:36was not eligible you know to play for the
00:05:39aruko so um that's has
00:05:42packed up lot of uh discussions i was look was
00:05:46Nigeria robbed should have been there and did fifa
00:05:49interfare fifa legal disciplinary committee the
00:05:53appeals committee those are independent but we've seen where
00:05:57infantino especially um during the world cup where
00:06:00infantino was you said when the usa
00:06:03uh off there but fifa came out with his
00:06:07statements and nigerian protest has
00:06:09you know uh was declared you inadmiss
00:06:18file
00:06:19we the didn't protest on time, so that's you know was what happened, i said
00:06:23based on that one, they did not look at the merit the case, but
00:06:27then they also said the disciplinary decision was communicated,
00:06:31you understand you to Nigeria early March
00:06:352026 and as
00:06:37no proper appeal was made,
00:06:40Nigeria didn't you any appeal. so the decision became you
00:06:44know final and binding you understand so probably if Nigeria of
00:06:48course uh you done that say defaulting uh they all want
00:06:51to say defaulting Congo's results in the qualifying
00:06:55games that mpasi played you know uh would have sent
00:06:58Burkina Faso you understand instead into the
00:07:02African playoffs so have even
00:07:05qualified if
00:07:07you know uh uh if uh they have been they've
00:07:10disqualified the games and all the games nolifine the
00:07:14games that
00:07:15Diaro Congo played using in passing and some of those games are the
00:07:19games against Togo, the games against
00:07:23Sudan and then the game against Cameron, the game are
00:07:26you so most of those games were because if those were you those
00:07:30guns were removed then they wouldn't have gotten the points that they
00:07:33got, it would have been, we show you those games, it would have been burkina
00:07:37faso that would have been there and not and not the
00:07:41rongo so... i looked at all those look, why go back to this and
00:07:45come back to the other one, let us continue from th you areas
00:07:48and that was what they did, but niger look when we want
00:07:52to go and sue fifa uh so that they can we look at the merit
00:07:56we only give you the merit the of those cases uh
00:08:00so that
00:08:01is that and then our under our super
00:08:05falcons also you know during the week they did play uh comorus
00:08:08and then uh those those games the first on friday that
00:08:12second one on Tuesday and then those games both both games
00:08:15to be played at the same venue in Nigeria at the Real Stadium in Kenne so that is
00:08:19where
00:08:19you know it will
00:08:20be you know they want by two goals to nothing and then the return leg will be
00:08:24right there on Tuesday remember that
00:08:28uh uh Comorus Comorus defeated Sudan you
00:08:32South Sudan in the in their by 30 goals to
00:08:36nothing uh uh both both of those games were played both of those
00:08:40games were played right there in Morocco.
00:08:45so so they do not have a home, not they
00:08:49don't have
00:08:50you know uh fifa uh standard uh
00:08:54pitch where they could prosecute those games in
00:08:57African uh qualifiers last week we told
00:09:00you here when we brought in Michel OB and we looked at you know
00:09:04uh Nigeria having about four federal stadium over
00:09:0820 22 23 24 you - state stadiums
00:09:11own by the. about individuals and none them probably apart from you he
00:09:15said you meet the particular standard so when when things like this happen
00:09:19African countries i think about 15 them playing their games in
00:09:22Morocco and other things i this is just what uh the
00:09:26late on called the squandering of riches because those
00:09:30stadia is what could have been earning of earning us money revenue
00:09:34instead of we are looking at getting our teams not being there
00:09:38so we we're going to discuss a lot of that uh uh we have guest who will join
00:09:41all soon but before then the katalan is in the house
00:09:45uh barcelona starting the season with eight straight wins eight
00:09:49wins eight eight over eight eight over
00:09:52eight impressive that music 10 over 10 10 over 10 this is eight eight over eight is getting
00:09:55there you can't be
00:10:02208 that's number of appearances and 208 yeah and
00:10:0612626 goals for the national team and i think
00:10:0968 assists for the national team. fantastic career,
00:10:13especially for a player that a point in his career that times actually told him to leave,
00:10:17they don't want to see him anymore, because he had not won anything for them, but look at
00:10:21how he has bowed out, bow out with so much grace, so much... i
00:10:25know it's something that people like us that supported for very long time
00:10:29like to see, for cristiano ronaldo, i knew the were going to sort it out,
00:10:33rather unfortunate how the whole team pand out, but i think probably has learned his lesson,
00:10:37yeah have also learned their lesson, we know who is in charge and let us see what
00:10:40happens over over the next couple of weeks, um for
00:10:44the super eagles and uh all the issue with dr
00:10:48congo can, i think the team that was most directly affected by all of this was
00:10:51jamaica because that was the they played again can go for
00:10:55that intercontinental playoff to determine which one the two them would actually
00:10:59make it you know to uh uh the world cup, but if we
00:11:03also want to look at it, i know some people that complain about the fact that oh maybe argentina had easy
00:11:07route, portugal might have had it easy, well one the things that actually prevented portugal
00:11:11from making it finishing top their group was
00:11:13congoasi was the major
00:11:17because he prevented portugal from putting more than one past
00:11:21him that game ended in one or draw and all but made sure that Portugal did make
00:11:25finish top of top of that group, you understand? so if
00:11:29anybody, if everybody start filing different claims, i think Portugal
00:11:32will file, remember he also played race england, he considered just two goals, but he should have been like
00:11:36seven, he was also one the best players on the page on the day as
00:11:40well, but regardless of all of this kind, i said this the last time we talked about this, we should have
00:11:44done the business on the field of play, simple and not looking at how we can
00:11:48go through the different technicalities to get it going to the bodroom, but but like i
00:11:52said you were talking about england, portugal. and other ones,
00:11:56burkina faso would have been the team that would have played the playoffs
00:11:59and those games because they won against
00:12:02tur they won against we should not join the queue because they
00:12:06beat cameron before they even played
00:12:08us Nigeria is always when
00:12:12it comes out and then we now
00:12:14we are trying to yeah we were justified in going to this if you are
00:12:17justified you would have filed your cas early you
00:12:20have paid
00:12:202,
00:12:26the f file whatever
00:12:27it is so you didn't do all that, but let us see i know there will be
00:12:31some some dramas will still be drumming that you know uh we want to take fifa to
00:12:34call that is it,
00:12:35but there is another another news that you don't want to miss here uh
00:12:39because uh uh till uh november the
00:12:4218th that is when the you know - candidates or who wants to
00:12:46contest for the fifa presidency, you know right now you and said look
00:12:50infantino the are 55 members look we don't want you so
00:12:54it's like the password. as and venga venga has
00:12:57coming, the formal top has fire you come,
00:13:01all you need is just five five member to endorse you, but right now they are
00:13:05asking - venga to say look guy can you come and do this
00:13:09yes uh what do you think to it's it's a
00:13:13massive leap but we've seen him move past coaching and uh what
00:13:17he's done for the game post fifa's head of a
00:13:20global yeah so he development development
00:13:23and and and and we've seen his takes a lot of things happening in the game
00:13:27and he's he's actually one the most brilliant minds in football as well, but you
00:13:31also understand the political involved in running, but
00:13:35if he he understand the political now
00:13:38that what saying his post coaching career, he's been he's been in the
00:13:42bodroom all this while one the most brilliant minds in the
00:13:45game uh it will be an interesting prospect seeing as a venga as
00:13:49fifa president
00:13:51president I'm
00:13:55going back to as when I started watching him, I know, star
00:13:59coaching coaching a who would have thought that from
00:14:02here, from coaching to the boardroom, the next thing, there's a potential that he
00:14:06might actually emerge as candidate, but but you could understand
00:14:10why all these are issues because there have been too many
00:14:14issues with fifa, yeah
00:14:17uh fifa board, there's been so much drama,
00:14:21there's been so much rockers, there's been so much problems that to a large extent.
00:14:25people are saying you what, enough is enough, we can't take this anymore, you
00:14:29understand? if if he had done what he was supposed to do, he'l probably not be in the state where
00:14:33he is right now, but there have been so much talk, so much conversation, what
00:14:37i just want is what is best for the game, the game that we love, the game that many of us
00:14:40spell in love with, we don't want to see it go uh to the goters,
00:14:43quite a number of things that happened at the at the world cup, the falari issue in
00:14:47itself alone was i think massive, then the next thing we are
00:14:50seeing
00:14:52enterprise has gone to
00:14:56call as New York and said we want, we want to see documents,
00:15:00let release it so that we exactly what transfer, okay
00:15:04uh uh it's been football and other talks and then of course uh the Tyson
00:15:08Fury versus AJ uh Anthony Joshua game will take place
00:15:12at the principality stadium right there in kadif and I tell
00:15:16you the moment it was announced under one hour
00:15:19under one hour that is coming up december december 11 under one
00:15:23hour the ticket. we sold out, sold as in
00:15:27sold out, mean we're talking about ticket from 88 pounds
00:15:3150 pence to 100 and
00:15:35uh uh to 13, yeah 13, Yes, and and and and they
00:15:39jumped on resale website uh from 425
00:15:42pounds to 73, resell see
00:15:46you, I was actually I was see Ken, I
00:15:50followed all of this drama closely, I really hope Jimmy comes in here
00:15:54today, I really want to hear what he has to say about all of this, I've followed his drama
00:15:57closely, I've seen the road at the hand, the Tiko
00:16:01group and I've seen what they've all
00:16:04done, at the end said Joshua thunder additional
00:16:0810 million, yes, because he wanted that fight to hold in
00:16:11Britain, he wanted, he wanted, he wanted it happen, you
00:16:14know, it's a little bit the battle of Britain, something that everybody wanted to see, you
00:16:18feel the posts the people, I went under the instagram pages of
00:16:22both fighters and you need to see the comments, bring it home,
00:16:26let's bring it home, you doesn't have to go to las vergas, doesn't have to go to Saudi Arabia, the two of
00:16:30you British boxers, you currently nobody is holding any b right
00:16:34now, come home and fight, let us determine this thing,
00:16:45he wanted it for the British fans because if he had agreed to
00:16:49the initial terms that they are put on the table that fight would have not held in
00:16:52britain is like there's been compromises on both sides
00:16:56eventually when it gets to level level fight like
00:17:00this obviously they have to be compromises but this is the fight that is probably about 10 years over
00:17:04due if we are being honest
00:17:07and b it has oversold, that's the thing, classic will
00:17:11always be classic nobody will think none them, they are not holding any belts, but
00:17:15here they are, and then that that
00:17:18fight if it hold as we are saying here, the the gross should
00:17:22be about the fourth richest fight in history, ken it's Anthony
00:17:25Joshua and Tyson Theory we are talking about, it was see regardless of what
00:17:29anybody wants to say oh they are way pass their prime, oh this fight is
00:17:33over you, this and that, they are still two the biggest names.
00:17:37in heavyweight boxing at the moment, they will command the figures, they will
00:17:41command the crowd, they will command the money, so at this point the
00:17:44really command
00:17:47b command everything, all right, okay, uh, so now let's let's let's go
00:17:50down, let's go down to uh uh, when i want to talk about,
00:17:54we're playing basketball, but this time we're not playing basketball in the
00:17:58court, we're playing basketball right there in the bottom,
00:18:01because uh, the elective congress comes up in four days time, that
00:18:05will be uh on the 15th of October 2026 right
00:18:09there in Abuja and then uh we we we feeling the pulse of
00:18:13that particular segment and those will say look it is our time to run uh uh to
00:18:17run to
00:18:18to to run basketball in Nigeria uh uh so we say look let
00:18:22us call let us see if we can get
00:18:25uh uh a legend and one of those who have thrown his hearts into this
00:18:29fight and say look I want to be part of this I want to chart the
00:18:33cause of Nigerian Basketball i've given you what I can I've given
00:18:37on caught i' supported you know the the group the game, i've been part
00:18:41of know
00:18:41you uh the fiber movement, i've been part the Olympian movement,
00:18:45i have played it in, i've played basketball in Nigeria, i've played
00:18:49basketball in the NBA and i have the experience to do
00:18:52it, but then let us see it is not for us to talk
00:18:56uh uh because we have uh the president of Nigerian Olympian
00:19:00association uh uh who is also the vice
00:19:03president the Nigerian Olympic committee uh uh why
00:19:07say
00:19:09it, we calling lumi, i don't, they say he
00:19:11illuminates, hello lumi, how are
00:19:14you?
00:19:18well, thank you very much, uh, good afternoon to
00:19:22listener, good afternoon to all the viewers, um, i'm just
00:19:26glad to be here, great and wonderful opportunity to be
00:19:30among the one watching and uh, just moderating
00:19:33this best sporting,
00:19:40lot of nigerians
00:19:41you know - look who is olumide because i know uh uh after
00:19:44akim de dream you know probably uh you one the most you no
00:19:48high profile basketball players that Nigeria has ever
00:19:52produced um but then it is not from
00:19:56us we did we did know that yes uh you won the
00:19:59afrobasket uh uh 2015 right you
00:20:02fiber afro basket
00:20:04with the with tigers you captain the tigers. you were the
00:20:08captain and some those are you in the public space,
00:20:12but uh uh briefly Nigerians wants to know who is
00:20:15olumide in Oyedj uh
00:20:19thank you very much uh shortly Olum was in home grown
00:20:23player basketball player and I was born in Nibano i grew up in
00:20:27the went to prestigious loyola college then proceed to
00:20:31university they started my basketball career with warriors and
00:20:35play for custom a little bit before i actually flourished under
00:20:39coach back with basketball club
00:20:42and got invited to the national team started by professional
00:20:45basketball career on the play for national team for 21 years of my
00:20:49life. play professional basketball for 20 years play all over the world
00:20:53um after that retired uh
00:20:55then i jump to sport administration uh leadership
00:20:59program and um my foundation i currently i'm
00:21:03the vice president three nigeria olympic committee president nagerian olympian
00:21:06association uh chairman the junian athlete
00:21:10commission and also the first and only african
00:21:14that will ever be the secretary general the world olympian
00:21:17association member the ioC and former member
00:21:20fiber player commission and also one anti-doping agency
00:21:24athlete council and foundation member uh lawran ambassador can
00:21:28keep going on and on and also do basketball with legal state
00:21:32basketball association the vice chairman and also member
00:21:36the MBBF so the can be can't be go on and on but
00:21:40this some trophies with my
00:21:42foundation
00:21:46okay we seen all that we seen all that.
00:21:50let us let us have your honest assessment the state of
00:21:54basketball in Nigeria
00:21:56presently, state of basketballs
00:22:00in
00:22:00the interiors every single one want the basketball to be best,
00:22:04to be better, not even better, just want it to be the best because we know we have
00:22:08the talent, we know for the past couple of years the Nigerian basketball is have
00:22:12not been way supposed to be, we're looking like diamond in the
00:22:15sky with
00:22:17the with the nation with the national team, but the local league and the where
00:22:21the things supposed to be matter most and we're kind of
00:22:24struggling, so we want the basketball to be better, i was a
00:22:28product the home grown talent, i benefited from
00:22:31these, i want the best to go come to nigerian basketball because i
00:22:35know we have lot more and better
00:22:38olumide, there and i want to see smile on their
00:22:42faces, i want to contribute to the ecosystem and give mean
00:22:46opportunity to these young ones, but nigerian basketball right now look at
00:22:50locally is still definitely not right there and I
00:22:53believe we should be there, we can be there for sure.
00:22:57Okay, I wanted to continue on this trend uh, but I i just want to take
00:23:01you one step back, uh, you've been you've been involved in how many
00:23:05years now in trying to on it the hidden talents of
00:23:08Nigerian basketball uh uh, what, what,
00:23:12what is, what is it all about, 25, 26 years or so, I'm not too
00:23:16sure, uh, 26 years, I mean, you're close by say
00:23:2025
00:23:20but we 26 actually, i can call it
00:23:2427 26 youth foundation was starts was
00:23:28established in 2000 and having this uh have a basketball
00:23:32cam future start different basketball program on the
00:23:36court the court i h the team i did a lot of educational
00:23:39program lot of empowerment and i've been doing this for the last
00:23:4326 years and i have over 45 thousand
00:23:47kids that pass through this foundation - this foundation establish they
00:23:50already have NBA NBA players, they have a
00:23:54college champion, they have maybe celebrities
00:23:58like caffe who participated in the camp, caffee actually got a
00:24:01scholarship from this eliminated basketball camp, we talk about
00:24:05victor, we're talking about CDQ, we're talking about Captain Mohammed
00:24:09who is pilot right now, so we have many them with this
00:24:13foundation for the last 26 years, not only in Nigeria, we have gone
00:24:17outside Nigeria, we've been in Ethiopia, we've been in Liberia. here we've been in
00:24:20Angola, we've been in Gabon, Mali, Senegal, South
00:24:24Africa, uh, just been all over and given opportunity
00:24:28to the young ones with this foundation and also
00:24:32basketball team, oops and read basketball club, education and
00:24:35basketball, send all these young boys and get to school, let them know there's always
00:24:39life after basketball empowerment, read to
00:24:43succeed another program, so lot of activities that this uh
00:24:46foundation has been doing for the last 26 years, I mean "I mean
00:24:50Charles Bassy was one of those one that also ben play with the uh
00:24:54it's playing right now in the NBA so and we have lot of chances of
00:24:58talent that this foundation has developed and continue
00:25:02to continue to develop. Okay, I'm just
00:25:06doing a little
00:25:06bit of calculation, that means uh you started this thing where you are 28, 29, still
00:25:09in your 20s uh,
00:25:11you just you just 45, no
00:25:14I and I started, I i started this as team, I
00:25:18started this when I was, I mean..." mean not only this one, also
00:25:21probably
00:25:23mean serving is something that i really love to give and just like when nobody want to do it, i
00:25:27love to do what nobody wants doesn't want to do when you were 19 buse 19
00:25:31plus 26 is 45 when you were 19 as teenager you started as
00:25:35teenager if i get my mus right as teenager yes
00:25:38of course of course yes you're right so just as well i
00:25:42just continue to serve the nation mean just like tell you for in
00:25:462001 2003 when i was in the NBA I
00:25:50supposed to play with the national team um
00:25:52that they couldn't pay for my insurance policy and I have to pay over $100,00
00:25:56for my insurance policy because my nationality couldn't play, they said I
00:26:00couldn't travel in the... only first class, they bought me economy class
00:26:04ticket, i use my money to buy for business class ticket, mean
00:26:08just uh, mean give glory to god
00:26:10we what we did in 2012, coach coach thanks to coach who
00:26:14put all this together in 2012, 2011 when there was no money for the
00:26:18mbbf there was no money at all, mean my personal credit cards was
00:26:22used to purchase ticket to do everything put his own money down
00:26:26as well and on the way to the olympics was personal funding on
00:26:302015 personal funding
00:26:31i could... gorically tells you at least for the past at least i have
00:26:35over $40000 for my own personal money with an angelan national team
00:26:39i never come out and make any trade any and i have a couple of
00:26:43teammate that can do that and you can see right here just you can
00:26:46see yeah this is a this is a
00:26:50broken finger from south africa to to abuja i was crying
00:26:54i was neglected i have a 17 surgery so never
00:26:58stop playing so my commitment to the national team to Nigeria never been
00:27:02out the same thing right here and after that have metal couple
00:27:06broking and i still i still have meter in those those aims that i just
00:27:10showed you and i still i had opportunity to change
00:27:13nationality but never change nationality because i
00:27:17bleed green white green for life i want to tell the kids do as
00:27:21do not do as i say not do as i say all
00:27:24right
00:27:26i have about my colleague catalan he also has one or two questions for you but
00:27:29let me just ask this whether he will
00:27:31not ask is to join. uh, you've been you've been part of some the
00:27:35previous boards, I don't, I don't know your level of
00:27:38involvement, what, what,
00:27:41what is, what is it that, what has been your contribution during that period, where you
00:27:45inhibited, where you stopped from for doing this changes that you want to
00:27:48bring in into Nigerian basketball, that is my question, and the
00:27:52Catalan also has a question to ask you so that you can answer both together,
00:27:56yes, theop was
00:27:58here, um, you have literally have a car lot of
00:28:02basketballers that I know currently would dream only dream of having
00:28:06we understand what uh about the basketball landscape in Nigeria
00:28:10currently like I was at your press conference where you actually
00:28:13declared your interest to run and you talked about how you intend to
00:28:17unite basketball at the grassroot level we
00:28:21know we und we know what is going on nagerian basketball at the moment
00:28:25my question to you is how do you intend to
00:28:29do all of this and you said some these things that day but for people i probably didn't
00:28:33watch you on the day, i watching you today, how do you intend to unite the basketball
00:28:37family, the faction, the faction in basketball, how do you intend to unite the basketball
00:28:40family, bringing the players and the coaches and the referees everybody at the grass
00:28:44level, uniting them and making sure that we chart a positive
00:28:47course, you know for nigerian
00:28:49basketball, thank you very much and thanks
00:28:53for your presence at doing the it is, how do i want to do is they
00:28:57said that who knows the root the problem so
00:29:00knows the solution to the
00:29:02problem, so we know that we're now being together, united,
00:29:06so we have to start from every single one, we have to start from the grassroot, we have to
00:29:10start from the we have to start from the states, we have to start from the teams,
00:29:14from division two, division one to
00:29:16then to the to the teams owners, team owner to the state, state to -
00:29:20there to the national level, and we also have to bring couple of our
00:29:23our retired players, the veterans, you have to bring them
00:29:27along, and you have to the say the losers dwell about the past and winner bew
00:29:31the future. but as a winner you have to use the past in guiding and
00:29:35building the future, so what happened to use the couple of experiences
00:29:39a gat lot of people who have been through
00:29:43these with
00:29:43the knowledge w of experience, like i said where i can use case
00:29:47study from 1990, so we can use 1990 all the way to
00:29:51of where we are now, so now you bring people from 1997 where
00:29:55Nigerian where i was a part the team as a young player when we win with the
00:29:59chatter flight from nigeria where we win with about
00:30:02200 supporters club so what happened there how did you do it what
00:30:06happened in 1998 where we went with greece we had about
00:30:10150 supporters all taking care of we went with the chat flight
00:30:1499 Angola I was also part the team
00:30:16we went with the charter flight 2001 2002 get all this
00:30:20knowledges 2003 sorry 1995
00:30:2496 we had the seven of league our league was vibrant that
00:30:28produced benjamin easy or
00:30:311991
00:30:35all those guys now you went to one that 2002 th
00:30:39f that produced
00:30:40a gk got drafted from nigeria straight to the nba with a vm
00:30:43over now went to the dstb league so you have to see
00:30:47that you must understand all this problem what happened what would
00:30:51we do all to the question league so what happened on all those things where we are
00:30:55what made us where we are now we used to play home and the way back in the days go
